50 Cent Labeled “A Sellout” Over Indiana Pacers Support

50 Cent may originate from New York, but that’s not stopping him from throwing his support behind the Indiana Pacers as the 2025 NBA Finals get underway.

On Sunday (June 1), the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper shared an Instagram post featuring a video of New York Knicks fans wreaking havoc and shoving a Pacers fan outside of Madison Square Garden. It also included footage of the Pacers dominating the Knicks, with a focus on point guard/shooting guard Tyrese Haliburton.

“@tyresehaliburton told me to tell all New Yorkers they are welcome to become his fans and continue to watch the finals,” he wrote in the caption. “I’m just relay a message.”

The comment section lit up with people disgusted by 50 Cent’s disloyalty to New York City. Comments ranged from “50 gotta be the most unloyal person ever” and “You and your new BFF WHITEBONE, we good. Damn FIF after all the NY love, you playing with our love for you” to “I don’t like how you switching sides my boy” and “Smh! You’re kicking NY after the loss? Damn Sellout!”

Someone also hit way below the belt with “I see why 50 got shot 9 times,” a reference to the infamous 2000 incident in which 50 Cent was shot nine times.

The Queens native has been posting about Haliburton and the Pacers frequently. Last week, he shared a photo and video of Haliburton wearing a 50 Cent t-shirt. He wrote in the caption, “My man said he mean business, everybody better be on 10 it’s lit.”

50 Cent attended Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals between the Knicks and Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on May 27. He was spotted courtside wearing a “Free Diddy” shirt, most likely in an effort to troll the Bad Boy Records mogul amid his ongoing trial.

Over the weekend, 50 Cent vowed to meet with Donald Trump—who’s reportedly considering granting a full pardon for Diddy—to warn him. He wrote in another Instagram post, “He said some really bad things about Trump, it’s not ok. Im gonna reach out so he knows how I feel about this guy.”

He later added, “Donald doesn’t take well to disrespect, and doesn’t forget who chooses to go against him. while working tirelessly to make America great again there is no room for distraction. He would consider pardoning anyone who was being mistreated not Puffy Daddy.”

Diddy and 50 Cent’s beef dates back to 2006, when 50 Cent released the diss track “The Bomb,” in which he suggested that Diddy had knowledge about the 1997 murder of The Notorious B.I.G. (“Man, Puffy know who hit that n####.”). It’s only intensified over the years and 50 hasn’t let his foot off Diddy’s neck since his September 2024 arrest.

Week three of Diddy’s trial kicks off Monday (June 2).

Brian McKnight Blasted For Silence On Death Of Estranged Son Niko

Brian McKnight has lost his son Niko McKnight, who died at age 32 following a two-year fight with cancer, according to a heartfelt video shared by Niko’s uncle on TikTok.

Claude McKnight, Niko’s uncle and founding member of the vocal group Take 6, confirmed the news in an emotional message.

“I’m not going off the script or anything like that. I’m just gonna be raw with how I’m feeling,” he said.

“Niko was one of those amazing kids who was quirky and curious and ridiculously talented,” Claude said. “Amazing singer, an amazing guitar player, had a great eye as a photographer. He was one of those kids that, at least in my estimation, was somebody you always wanted to be around. And so it really sucks that he’s no longer with us.”

@claudemcknight

I’m devastated at my nephews passing. If you comment please do do in love, and NOT at what you may have heard about the relationship my brother had/has with his kids. Thank you 🙏🏾 #nephew #cancersucks #rip #love #family

Claude added that he wanted the focus to remain on Niko’s life rather than the long-standing tension within the family.

“I wanted to post this about Niko, about his legacy, about how amazing he is – and not about what some of you may have heard about, you know, the family drama that has existed for quite some time in our family.”

Niko was the son of Brian McKnight and his ex-wife, Julie McKnight.

The former couple also share sons Brian Jr. and Clyde and daughter Briana.

The Grammy-nominated singer has not commented publicly on Niko’s passing. The two had reportedly been estranged for several years.

In January 2024, Niko revealed his cancer diagnosis. Three months later, Brian posted a video on Instagram referring to his four older children as a “product of sin.”

Brian has remained silent on social media regarding his son’s death, but his followers on social media are being anything but quiet.

NBA YoungBoy Pardon By President Trump Leaves Utah Pharmacist In Fear

NBA YoungBoy walked free after President Trump pardoned the rapper for his role in a Utah drug fraud ring and now a local pharmacist whose store was hit in the scheme says he’s bracing for more trouble.

Phil Cowley, a pharmacist in Cache Valley, Utah, says he’s still recovering from the financial damage caused by the break-ins tied to the rapper’s crew and is worried history could repeat itself.

“As soon as they caught him, everything stopped,” Cowley told East Idaho News. “And so now, is he going to do it again?”

Cowley’s pharmacy was one of several targeted in a prescription drug fraud operation that led to losses ranging from $15,000 to $30,000 per store.

“The windows I had to replace took my whole month’s worth of earnings from me,” Cowley said.

The man behind the crimes, Kentrell Gaulden — better known as NBA YoungBoy — had pleaded guilty to 46 counts of prescription fraud and was serving a 23-month sentence for federal gun charges when former President Donald Trump granted him clemency on Tuesday (May 28).

President Trump’s decision was part of a broader wave of pardons aimed at what the White House called a “politicized and weaponized justice system,” according to reports.

Local prosecutors in Utah pushed back, defending their investigation and the charges against Gaulden.

Cache County officials said they stood by the integrity of their case and the professionalism of their law enforcement agencies.

“We are extremely proud of the work our investigator and prosecutors did on this case as well as grateful for all the help we received from other local and federal agencies,” said Sheriff D. Chad Jensen and Cache County Attorney Taylor Sorensen in a joint statement. “Mr. Gaulden pled guilty to the charges in this investigation, and we feel strongly the Justice System in Cache County is far from a ‘weaponized system of justice.'”

Cowley, however, said the pardon sends the wrong message.

“My very first gut reaction to hearing that pardon was what a terrible lesson to teach your boys,” he said.

Gaulden, who had already paid a $25,000 fine in connection with the fraud case, thanked President Trump in an Instagram post, saying the pardon would help him “continue growing as a man, father, and artist.”

The Baton Rouge rapper is now preparing for a 32-city MASA Tour kicking off in September 2025.

DDG Called “Doo Doo Garbage”—Altercation Ensues

It was all fun and games—until somebody got hurt. Over the weekend, DDG was attending an event when someone called him “doo doo garbage.”

Evidently, DDG, his brother and team didn’t find it funny, and an altercation ensued. In a clip making the rounds on social media, the man repeats the term “doo doo garbage” twice.

Before he can finish saying it the second time, DDG’s brother comes into frame and shoves the man—hard.

Now, the man who hurled the insult wants to take legal action against the rapper. In another clip, the man explains his side of the story, saying he was only trying to make a joke.

“I’ll called him ‘doo doo garbage’ from around the way,” he admits. “His brother comes back and tries to press me about what I said. He said, ‘What you say?’ I said, ‘doo doo garbage.’ Pushed the s### out of me. […] I gotta take legal action against him or his brother, somebody out here. That’s unacceptable.”

A post shared by Watch Live Bitez (@livebitez)

DDG has been making headlines regularly as of late—mostly related to his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child, Halle Bailey. In May, the Little Mermaid actress secured temporary full custody of their 16-month-old son and a restraining order against DDG after alleging repeated physical abuse and fearing for her child’s safety.

As a result, she was granted both legal and physical custody of the toddler until there can be another court hearing. The decision followed her emergency petition, which claimed she acted without notifying DDG because she “was afraid that the violence would re-occur” and worried he might take their son “out of the area” before the court could intervene.

Bailey also obtained a temporary protective order, citing multiple alleged assaults by DDG since their breakup in October 2024. In her filing, she detailed the first alleged incident in January that she said happened after she tried to schedule a visit. The court documents included photos of a chipped tooth and bruises on her arm.

The restraining order requires DDG to stay at least 100 yards away from both Bailey and their child. He’s also barred from possessing firearms and prohibited from contacting her directly or indirectly. Bailey requested that he not be allowed to use his streaming platforms to incite harassment, asking the court to prevent him from “weaponizing” his audience against her.

The next court date is scheduled for Los Angeles Superior Court on June 4.

Joe Budden Considering Return To Rap?

Could Joe Budden be returning to the mic? A new clip just surfaced where Joe talks about jumping back into rap. Apparently, his longtime friend Ransom lit the spark—egging him on by saying something like, “You know you love rapping more than anything else!”

What’s wild is how much the game has changed. Honestly, part of me feels like he probably shouldn’t rap again. It’s kind of like Michael Jordan coming out of retirement (again). Rap today is a blood sport and not everyone survives the ring. And truthfully, I’m not even sure people would care anymore. They barely did back in the day. And let’s keep it real—rap sucks right now. That said, it doesn’t mean Joe’s lost his skill or his passion. He can still spit.

Look at Jadakiss. He’s doing the podcast thing too, but he never dropped the mic. He’s been consistently killing verses like nothing ever changed. No ring rust whatsoever.

EXCLUSIVE: T.I.’s $71M Judgment In Jeopardy—Doll Company Wants Another Fight

T.I. is facing a fresh legal hurdle as toy giant MGA Entertainment moves to overturn a $71 million judgment awarded to him and his wife, Tiny.

AllHipHop has confirmed that MGA is demanding a fourth trial in the years-long battle over doll designs allegedly lifted from their girl group OMG Girlz.

MGA filed a formal appeal challenging the April 29 jury verdict that found the company’s L.O.L. Surprise! O.M.G. dolls infringed on the group’s trade dress and likeness.

The company is asking the court to either overturn the entire ruling or significantly reduce the damages.

MGA’s legal team believes the verdict was legally flawed. If that fails, they’ve requested a new trial or an order to slash the payout.

The company claims the OMG Girlz never had enforceable rights to the look T.I. and Tiny say was copied.

According to MGA, the look was not widely recognized by the public as being associated with the OMG Girlz and even if it once had recognition, the group allegedly abandoned that look years ago.

The company also argues that there’s no concrete evidence of consumer confusion between the dolls and the group.

MGA further contends that T.I. and Tiny failed to prove actual harm or misappropriation of their trade secrets. They also say the First Amendment protects their creative expression in designing the dolls.

The original lawsuit accused MGA of copying the OMG Girlz’s name, style, and image — including their hairstyles and outfits — for at least seven dolls without permission.

The legal battle has spanned four years and three trials.

The first ended in a mistrial after a dispute over jury instructions involving cultural appropriation. The second resulted in a win for MGA, but a retrial was granted due to legal errors and a Supreme Court ruling that impacted the case’s standards.

In September 2024, a third trial ended with a unanimous jury siding with T.I. and Tiny. The jury found that 13 dolls infringed on the group’s image and that two more infringed on their likeness.

The court awarded $71 million in total damages — $17.9 million in actual damages and $53.6 million in punitive damages. MGA argues the punitive portion is excessive and unjustified, claiming the company did not act with malice or fraud.

The judge has not yet ruled on MGA’s latest motions.

Ashanti & Nelly Might Have Another Baby Coming

Ashanti Pregnant Again? Keyshia Cole Fuels Rumors of a Second Baby With Nelly

Ashanti sparked another wave of pregnancy rumors after R&B star Keyshia Cole seemingly let something slip during a recent interview. While the “Foolish” singer and her husband, Nelly, haven’t confirmed the news, speculation is once again heating up. They JUST had their first bundle of joy. We can thank KeyKey Cole.

In an appearance on The Breakfast Club, Cole gave an unintentional bombshell. “Shout out to Ashanti, ’cause I mean, she’s amazing. She got a baby, she’s pregnant again.” The clip quickly circulated thanks to outlets like Hollywood Unlocked. But people were basically wondering, “Did Cole just reveal private news or repeating rumors?”

Ashanti, 43, has become a pro at keeping her personal life tightly under wraps. We know about her son, Kareem Kenkaide Haynes now, but last summer, she managed to keep the pregnancy mostly out of the public eye. The couple only confirmed the baby news once it was obviously she was with child.

Now, less than a year into parenthood, the music power couple may be expanding their family. But without confirmation from Ashanti or Nelly, we need people like Ms. Cole.

Until we get the truth, the rumors remain just that. Rumors.

“Ye” Twitter Account Owner Threatened After Kanye West Vows To Change Handle

Kanye West fans are standing up for their tarnished hero after he announced he wanted to change his Twitter (X) handle to Ye. The problem?

The account “Ye” is owned by someone else and West’s fans aren’t letting it slide. The account is littered with threatening (although likely innocuous) comments that range from “Just give him the @ bro” and “your time is coming lil brah” to “enjoy ur username while you still have it” and “black vans about to pull up on you gang.”

“Ye” has had the account since 2007 and some people are convinced he could get loads of money from West if he were to sell it to him. West tweeted about his intention to change his handle on Saturday night (May 31), writing, “Ima finally stop using the @kanyewest twitter cause my name is Ye. Gonna start a ye account and it is what it is.”

More than 33 million people follow his current account.

Kanye West officially changed his legal name to “Ye” in October 2021. It’s a mononym that eliminates both his middle and last names. The Los Angeles Superior Court granted his petition, which he’d filed in August of that year citing “personal reasons” for the change.

Ye had been using the nickname publicly for years, notably titling his 2018 album Ye and declaring on social media at the time, “The being formally known as Kanye West. I am YE.”

The court’s approval made the switch permanent, and Ye’s team has since requested that all media, streaming services and publishers refer to him solely by his new name—although that request has never really been honored, most likely because West hasn’t earned that respect due to his inflammatory behavior over the years.

Donald Trump Thinks Biden Was Executed Then Cloned

President Donald Trump reposted a bizarre conspiracy theory about former President Joe Biden on his Truth Social platform late Saturday night (May 31).

President Trump claimed without evidence that Joe Biden was “executed in 2020” and replaced by “clones, doubles & robotic engineered soulless mindless entities.”

The claim, lifted from a fringe pro-Trump account referencing a satirical Babylon Bee article, was shared just days after Biden’s aggressive prostate cancer diagnosis became public.

The post, which included MAGA hashtags and links to other right-wing accounts, quickly gained traction among Trump’s online base.

It was originally shared by a small account known for pushing conspiracy content and tagged Laura Loomer, a far-right activist.

The repost came just one day after Trump appeared alongside Elon Musk at a joint press conference on Friday (May 30), where the two discussed artificial intelligence, the 2025 election and a possible pardon for Diddy.

The timing of Trump’s repost raised eyebrows, especially as Biden’s health has become a renewed topic of speculation following his recent cancer diagnosis.

EXCLUSIVE: Milagro Gramz Loses Tory Lanez’s Lawyers Who Face “Ruin”

Milagro Gramz has lost her second attorney in less than a month in her ongoing legal battle with Megan Thee Stallion, as financial strain continues to hinder her defense in a high-profile defamation case filed in Florida.

Michael Hayden, an attorney with California non-profit Unite the People Inc., filed a motion to withdraw from representing Gramz, citing the inability to afford required local counsel.

The court granted the request, leaving the YouTuber and blogger without legal representation as she faces serious allegations from the Grammy-winning rapper.

“Financial difficulties have arisen with Unite the People Inc. and [Milagro Gramz, making it unreasonably difficult for Unite the People Inc. to continue to effectively represent [Milagro Gramz] as Pro Hac Vice counsel in this matter, unable to secure local Florida counsel,” Hayden wrote in the court filing.

“[Milagro Gramz] is unable to compensate Unite the People Inc. Unite the People Inc. is a non-profit incorporation/firm that specializes in criminal and post-conviction matters, having no dedicated civil litigation department. Unite the People currently has two licensed attorneys, who specialize in criminal law, who handle large caseloads. Without local Florida counsel to act as lead counsel, Unite the People cannot continue to represent Defendant from California or it would suffer extreme financial burden (likely ruin),” he added.

The court has given Gramz additional time to secure new legal counsel or proceed without one.

Earlier in May, her previous Florida-based attorney, Michael A. Pancier, also withdrew from the case, citing “irreconcilable differences” and unpaid legal fees that made representation “unreasonably difficult.”

The lawsuit, filed in October 2024 in Florida’s Southern District, accuses Gramz of defamation, cyberstalking, intentional infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy and distributing deepfake pornography.

Megan’s legal team claims Gramz acted as a “mouthpiece,” “puppet” and “paid surrogate” for Tory Lanez, who was convicted of shooting Megan in 2020.

The complaint alleges Milagro Gramz spread false claims about Megan, including accusations of perjury, alcoholism and mental instability and shared a digitally altered pornographic video depicting the rapper.

The suit argues these actions caused severe emotional harm and reputational damage.

Chief Judge Cecilia Altonaga previously denied Gramz’s motion to dismiss the case, ruling that she could not claim the protections typically afforded to journalists.

The judge found that Gramz’s conduct did not meet the legal standards of journalism and described the behavior as part of a deliberate campaign to damage Megan’s reputation.

Now, without legal representation, Gramz has launched a crowdfunding campaign on GiveSendGo, aiming to raise $100,000 to continue her defense.

The fundraiser, titled “Save New Media,” describes her situation as a fight for independent voices and claims she is being unfairly targeted.

Rapper Real Bleeda Busted For Waving Gun At Rivals In Mall

Rapper Real Bleeda was booked into Ouachita Correctional Center after allegedly pulling a gun and threatening violence during a confrontation at Pecanland Mall in Monroe, Louisiana.

The Baton Rouge rapper faces two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, rioting and illegal carrying of weapons.

The incident, which unfolded Sunday (May 19), was filmed and later posted on social media, helping investigators identify him.

According to authorities, Real Bleeda was involved in a heated exchange with two individuals believed to be members of the rival YNN gang.

KTVE reports that the confrontation took place outside the Pecanland Mall on Millhaven Road, a busy shopping center in Monroe.

The footage, which circulated online, showed several men arguing before one of them appeared to flash a weapon.

Police say they used video footage and social media posts to confirm Real Bleeda’s identity.

He was arrested by Baton Rouge police on Tuesday, May 21, and officially booked into custody a week later on Tuesday, May 28. Real Bleeda’s bond was set at $22,500.

Nuns Beatbox & Dance Their Way Into Hearts Of Millions

Sister Marizele turned a quiet Catholic TV segment into a viral Hip-Hop moment when she dropped a beatbox rhythm while her fellow nun Sister Marisa de Paula danced beside her on Brazil’s Pai Eterno channel.

The impromptu performance, which aired in late May, featured the two Copiosa Redenção nuns and TV host Deacon Giovani Bastos during a segment about a vocational retreat.

What started as a discussion on faith and youth outreach quickly transformed into a musical showcase that blended beatboxing, singing and dance. The moment wasn’t planned. Sister Marizele, who often uses music in her ministry, began beatboxing mid-conversation.

Sister Marisa, who enjoys dancing, joined in without hesitation. Deacon Bastos followed their lead and the trio’s chemistry lit up the screen.

The clip went viral on social media, amassing millions of views and earning praise for the nuns’ innovative approach to connecting with young people.

Their goal, however, goes beyond entertainment. The sisters use music as a tool to reach youth facing drug addiction and to encourage religious vocations.

“We use music to reach hearts that might not be open to traditional preaching,” Sister Marizele said in a previous interview.

Their congregation, Copiosa Redenção, focuses on helping people overcome substance abuse and find purpose through faith.

The sisters say music helps break down barriers and build trust with those who feel alienated by conventional religious messaging.

Posthumous DMX Album Set For 2025 Release, Kicks Off With Joyner Lucas Collab

DMX returns to the spotlight with a posthumous album, “DMX Features,” and a new single featuring Joyner Lucas.

“DMX Features,” a collection of unreleased collaborations, is scheduled to drop in summer 2025, four years after the rapper died at age 50.

The first single, “Bring Out the Worst,” featuring Joyner Lucas, arrived Thursday (May 30) through DNA Music Group and Hitmaker Distro.

The full tracklist hasn’t been released, but the album is expected to include appearances from Wiz Khalifa and Kevin Gates, among others, according to Rolling Stone.

“DMX Features” follows 2021’s “Exodus,” which dropped shortly after his death.

“Bring Out the Worst” is available now on streaming platforms. “DMX Features” is scheduled for release in the summer of 2025.

DMX, Joyner Lucas – Bring Out The Worst

Born Earl Simmons, DMX died on Friday (April 9, 2021) at White Plains Hospital in New York after suffering a cocaine-induced heart attack that caused brain damage. He had been on life support for a week following the April 2 overdose.

DMX had long spoken publicly about his struggles with addiction and had entered rehab multiple times, most recently in 2019.

He left behind 15 children and his mother, Arnett Simmons. He died without a will, and his estate has been tied up in legal battles over debts and inheritance.

Now, the estate is dealing with another issue: a surprise auction of DMX memorabilia.

GottaHaveRockandRoll is selling handwritten lyrics, unreleased music, cassette tapes, and rare performance footage, with some items expected to fetch tens of thousands of dollars.

The estate issued a statement condemning the sale: “We were surprised and disappointed to learn of this auction, which is not authorized and was not cleared by the Estate of Earl ‘DMX’ Simmons.”

They added, “We consider this a violation of the Estate’s rights and will be pursuing appropriate action.”

According to the estate, the items were not provided by any family member but instead came from a former industry associate.

How Hip-Hop Culture Shapes Alternative Investment Trends

Hip-hop has long been a driving force in shaping culture, from music and fashion to language and lifestyle. But beyond the beats and the branding, it has also played an increasingly influential role in shaping how people think about money, ownership, and investment.

Today, hip-hop’s influence extends into the world of alternative investing. Whether it’s high-end jewelry, fine art, cryptocurrency, or even vintage coins, the culture has helped redefine what wealth looks like and how it’s built. For many, these are strategic financial moves rooted in values of self-determination, creativity, and legacy.

So, let’s have a look at how hip-hop culture is reshaping investment trends and why a growing number of investors are looking to the culture for cues on where to place their bets next.

Jewelry as Assets

Gold has always been prominent in hip-hop, both as a fashion statement and a form of financial expression. From the early days of Run-DMC’s iconic chains to the modern-day custom pieces worn by artists like Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, the Creator, jewelry has signified success, independence, and status.

But nowadays, it represents something more tangible: value preservation.

In many ways, high-end jewelry functions as a portable asset. Unlike fast-depreciating consumer goods, gold chains, watches, and custom pieces often retain and even appreciate over time, especially when crafted by respected jewelers or associated with high-profile figures.

Tangible Nostalgia

There’s a growing segment of investors influenced by hip-hop culture who are turning their attention to junk silver coins. These are older U.S. coins that contain real silver content, typically minted before 1965. While these coins are no longer in circulation, they carry intrinsic metal value and historical appeal.

Interest in these forms of currency reflects a broader theme in hip-hop: the embrace of nostalgia and authenticity. Just as crate-digging DJs seek out original vinyl and collectors hunt for first-press album covers, some investors find value in the physicality and permanence of vintage currency. It’s a counterbalance to the fast pace of digital finance, grounded in something real that lasts.

Art as Investment

Art has always been intertwined with hip-hop, from graffiti and album covers to music videos and personal style. In recent years, that connection has evolved into a serious financial interest. Prominent figures like Jay-Z, Swizz Beatz, and Pharrell Williams have emerged as major collectors and advocates for investing in contemporary and Black art.

However, art collectors don’t just think about aesthetics; they also care about legacy and identity and support underrepresented voices. And for investors influenced by that ethos, art becomes a long-term asset class that holds personal significance while offering potential financial return.

Digital Ownership

If some hip-hoppers want something tangible and nostalgic, others follow the newest trends, like crypto and NFTs (non-fungible tokens). Not to mention that the decentralized nature of crypto aligns with the core values that have always defined hip-hop: independence, innovation, and ownership.

Artists like Nas, Snoop Dogg, and Megan Thee Stallion have actively promoted or invested in cryptocurrency and blockchain-based technologies. NFTs in particular have opened up new avenues for artists to monetize their work, connect with fans directly, and bypass traditional gatekeepers.

In Summary

Hip-hop’s influence on alternative investing reflects a broader shift: wealth-building as a personal, cultural, and creative act. From gold to crypto, it’s less about profit and more about purpose. For investors tuned into the culture, the next opportunity might be playing on more than just the charts.

Man Accused Of Killing Rapper Chris King Finally Caught In L.A.

The fugitive accused of killing rapper Chris King was taken into custody in Los Angeles on Thursday (May 29) in connection with the fatal shooting during a robbery outside a Nashville music studio in April 2024.

Authorities say Adrian Cameron Jr., 22, had been on the run for over a year following the killing, which occurred just hours after Chris King performed at Nashville Cannafest on April 19.

The Metro Nashville Police Department said King and his friends were targeted in a robbery on Hayes Street, where the rapper was shot and killed.

At the time of the shooting, Cameron was already out on bond for a separate 2021 homicide case. He was indicted shortly after Chris King’s death but managed to evade capture until this week.

Investigators tracked Cameron to Los Angeles, where he was located and arrested without incident.

Chris King had close ties with artists like Trippie Redd, Justin Bieber, and Machine Gun Kelly.

His death prompted an outpouring of grief across the music world. Bieber wrote on Instagram Stories, “Love you bro. This one hurts. Please keep his family in your prayers.”

Trippie Redd posted several tributes, while Keke Palmer remembered Chris King for his warmth and early work in entertainment.

Cameron now faces murder and robbery charges in Tennessee and is expected to be extradited in the coming weeks.

Eddie Murphy Reveals One Thing He Hates About Comedy

Eddie Murphy didn’t hold back on The Jennifer Hudson Show when he called out one of his biggest comedy turn-offs and shared a wild behind-the-scenes moment from the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special.

The legendary comedian and actor, 64, revealed that phony laughter is one of his biggest pet peeves in comedy.

“The audience hates it,” Eddie Murphy said. “Sometimes people do it and they ain’t really laughing, they be like, fake laughing and the audience is like, ‘He ain’t really laughing.'”

Murphy also opened up about a hilarious moment that caught him completely off guard during the SNL celebration in February, when fellow comic Will Ferrell showed up without pants.

“I started laughing there,” Eddie Murphy told Hudson. “I start laughing all the time, you know, in the middle of stuff and then we just go back and fix it… I love that, when something makes you, you know, you can’t hold it in, you gotta start laughing. And the audience likes it too.”

Despite his distaste for forced chuckles, Eddie Murphy made it clear that genuine laughter—especially when it breaks through during a live performance—is something he embraces.

He said those moments are not only fun for the cast but also appreciated by the crowd.

Reflecting on his return to SNL, Murphy described the experience as meaningful and nostalgic.

“I felt like I was part of something. That show was on for 50 years, you know, so it’s this American institution,” he said. “So when you’re in the room, and you see all the different people that were part of the show, I had this really great feeling, like, ‘Wow, I’m a part of this show!’ It was a good feeling. I loved it.”

Bill Maher Says Cassie Ventura To Blame If Diddy Walks Free: “Some Of That Is On You”

Bill Maher took direct aim at Cassie Ventura during Friday night’s (May 30) episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, claiming that if Diddy escapes conviction in his ongoing federal sex trafficking trial, it will be because of her own words.

“If Diddy walks free, it will be because his lawyers can point to an endless stream of texts from Cassie expressing what’s often called enthusiastic consent to their sex life,” Maher said during a panel that included CNN’s Jake Tapper and Rep. Seth Moulton.

“If you’re me too-ing someone, it doesn’t help your case if you texted him me too,” Maher said.

His comments came in response to text messages revealed during the trial that showed Cassie expressing sexual interest in Diddy, even after she says the abuse occurred. The comedian argued that such messages undermine her claims and could be used by Diddy’s defense team to cast doubt on her testimony.

Cassie testified for four days in federal court, describing a relationship marked by control, violence and coercion. She said Diddy orchestrated multi-day sex sessions called “freak-offs” involving escorts, during which she was allegedly urinated on and abused.

She said she feared retaliation or blackmail if she refused. Maher acknowledged Diddy’s alleged behavior as “really bad,” calling him “a violent, sick f###.”

But he also insisted that the cultural climate has changed enough that victims now have the ability—and responsibility—to leave abusive situations sooner.

“We need to keep two thoughts in our head at once,” he said. “One, Diddy is a bad dude. Really bad. Like the worst thing in rap since Hammer Pants… And two, things have changed enough so that moving forward, the rule should be, if you’re being abused, you’ve got to leave right away.”

He added that while he understands why women in the past may have stayed silent—citing the power held by men like Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein – those dynamics have shifted.

“In an era where women felt, for good reason, that OG predators like Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein would never be held accountable, why not at least get something out of it?”

Cosby was convicted in 2018 of sexual assault but later released after his conviction was overturned. Weinstein is currently serving a 23-year sentence in New York and was convicted again in Los Angeles in 2022.

Maher’s remarks were met with immediate backlash online, with critics accusing him of victim-blaming and minimizing the complexities of trauma and coercion.

Still, Maher doubled down, saying, “Don’t tell me any more about your contemporaneous account that you said to two friends ten years ago. Tell the police right away. Don’t wait a decade. Don’t journal about it. Don’t turn it into a one-woman show. And most importantly, don’t keep f###### him.”

He also questioned the role of ambition in abusive dynamics, suggesting some victims may tolerate mistreatment in exchange for fame.

“We also have to have an honest conversation about what people are willing to do for stardom,” Maher said. “If you want a number one record on The chart so bad you’ll take a number one in the face, some of that is on you.”

Kim Kardashian “Grandpa Gang” Robbers Freed By French Court Due To Age & Illness

The men who zip-tied and robbed Kim Kardashian at gunpoint during Paris Fashion Week walked free earlier this week, after a French judge ruled they were too old and sick to remain behind bars.

The eight convicted gang members—seven men and one woman, all in their 60s and 70s—were granted early release by Judge David De Pas, who cited their deteriorating health and the low likelihood of reoffending.

The decision came less than two weeks after Kardashian testified in court on Tuesday (May 13), revisiting the 2016 ordeal that left her traumatized and shaken.

The group, dubbed the “grandpa gang” by French media, stormed Kardashian’s private residence in Paris, tied Kim Kardashian up with zip ties and held her at gunpoint while stealing more than $10 million in jewelry.

Among the stolen items was a $4.5 million diamond ring given to her by Kanye West, who was performing in New York at the time and abruptly ended his set when he learned of the robbery.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Family emergency, I have to stop the show,” Kanye West told the crowd at the Meadows Festival, according to ABC News_._

The heist, which took place during Paris Fashion Week in October 2016, was one of the most high-profile celebrity crimes in recent memory.

Kim Kardashian was alone in her hotel suite when the gang, disguised as police officers, forced their way in. They gagged her, tied her hands and feet, and locked her in a bathroom while they looted her belongings.

The ringleader, Aomar Aït Khedache, 69, is reportedly deaf and barely able to speak. Another member, Younis Abbas, 72, has Parkinson’s disease and recently underwent heart surgery.

Didier Dubreucq, 69, is battling lung cancer. The judge said their medical conditions, combined with the time already served, justified suspending the rest of their sentences..

Snoop Dogg Turns Blunt Roaches Into Beverly Hills Art Pieces

Snoop Dogg transformed cannabis culture and Hip-Hop nostalgia into high-end art by teaming with visual artist Erica Kovitz for a Beverly Hills gallery show featuring his smoked blunt roaches preserved as collectibles.

The project, titled Rich N Infamous: The Joint Venture, debuts in June 2025 at 9891 S. Santa Monica Blvd and showcases a series of pigment panel pieces embedded with the remnants of Snoop Dogg’s personal blunts.

Each work is encased in plastic and chrome proxy, infused with cannabis residue and signed by the rap icon himself. The collaboration merges Hip-Hop memorabilia with contemporary art, offering buyers a literal piece of the West Coast legend’s lifestyle.

Kovitz preserved the roaches in acrylic and mounted them on pigment panels to create a visual and aromatic experience.

The gallery display marks a new chapter in celebrity collectibles, where personal artifacts meet fine art.

The idea of turning used blunt ends into gallery-worthy items may raise eyebrows, but it’s also a reflection of how cannabis and Hip-Hop have evolved into cultural institutions.

Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez’s Daughter Claims Mom Wrongfully Committed Her To Mental Ward

Demoree Hadley accused her mother, Desiree Perez, of orchestrating a forced psychiatric commitment in South Florida to allegedly sabotage her marriage and isolate her from her husband.

In a lawsuit filed in May and obtained by NBC Miami, Hadley claims Perez—CEO of Roc Nation and longtime business partner of Jay-Z—leveraged her influence and connections to manipulate the mental health system and law enforcement to detain her without cause.

The complaint, filed in Miami-Dade County, accuses Desiree Perez and others of false imprisonment, civil conspiracy and harassment by using the Baker Act and Marchman Act to have her committed to the facility against her will.

According to Hadley’s attorney, Hilton Napoleon II, the situation escalated after a family dispute in Dania Beach in early 2024.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and a mobile crisis unit responded to a call and detained Hadley under Florida’s Baker Act, which allows for involuntary psychiatric evaluations if a person is deemed a danger to themselves or others.

The decision to commit Hadley was based on a phone consultation between her family and Dr. Daniel Bober, chief of psychiatry at Memorial Regional Hospital.

Dr. Bober signed the Baker Act paperwork without personally evaluating Hadley.

“After meeting with Ms. Hadley and speaking with her mental health provider and members of her family, the decision was made to initiate the Baker Act in order to ensure her safety. This action is consistent with Florida law, which aims to protect individuals experiencing a crisis. Failing to take appropriate action and provide necessary care for Ms. Hadley would have been a breach of Dr. Bober’s ethical and professional obligations.” an attorney for Dr. Bober told NBC Miami in a statement.

Hadley was initially taken to Memorial Regional Hospital, then transferred to Life Skills South Florida in Deerfield Beach. Despite testing negative for drugs, she was held under the Marchman Act, a Florida law that allows for involuntary substance abuse treatment.

She remained at the facility until her release on April 8, 2024.

The lawsuit claims the commitment was part of a broader effort by Perez to separate Hadley from her husband, Javon Hadley.

According to court documents, Perez allegedly made false claims of domestic violence against Javon, which Hadley denies.

Desiree Perez has denied all allegations and in a countersuit, she stated her actions were motivated by concern for her daughter’s well-being and her mental health.
