DaBaby Shares Video Of Alleged Assault Victim Using N-Word & Claims He Lied To Police

DaBaby is fighting back after receiving a felony assault charge for beating up a senior citizen during a music video shoot.

He shared a new video apparently showing Gary Prager, the man he and his crew allegedly put hands on, repeatedly dropping the N-word. The footage is supposedly taken at the mansion where the alleged beating happened in December 2020. The man in the video paces back and forth while screaming “f###### n######,” among other obscenities.

The North Carolina rapper added some context to the video, writing: “On today’s episode of ‘Let’s Make DaBaby Look Like a Bad Person’ we have Gary Prager.” He then called Prager a “PROUD white supremacist” and accused him of “lying to TMZ & LAPD. Not knowing that he’s caught on camera.”

DaBaby continued, “These are the type of people y’all validate & let assassinate DaBaby’s character.” He also accused Prager of spitting in his face, though the footage does not show this.

“Look what somebody just sent me👀 Y’all keep believing these Hollywood hustlers 🤷🏾‍♂️, DaBaby wrote in the caption. “Y’all might as well get a rope help em hang our black ass on a tree! ✊🏻 Ima leave y’all wit

that.”

DaBaby Claims Prager Lied To Cops

The rapper picked up a felony assault charge after he allegedly punched Prager in the mouth, knocking out his tooth. Prager rented his property for DaBaby to film a video there but discovered he was violating the rental agreement. Members of his entourage allegedly stomped and kicked Prager before taking his phone to prevent him from calling the cops.

The incident with Prager is the rapper’s most recent brush with the law, following a string of other violent encounters. Last week footage emerged of the fatal 2018 Walmart shooting involving DaBaby. He claimed he acted in self-defense and said authorities had already viewed the video.

In addition, another clip surfaced of DaBaby punching his own artist Wisdom backstage at a concert in South Carolina.

Tory Lanez Temporarily Detained For “Large” Amount Of Weed At Las Vegas Airport

Tory Lanez found himself in trouble with the law while traveling out of Vegas over the weekend.

According to TMZ, the Toronto native was due to fly out of Las Vegas airport on Sunday morning (May 1) when he was stopped by authorities. He was attempting to board a flight when a “large” amount of cannabis was found in his bag. Law enforcement tell the outlet that TSA discovered the weed and detained him.

Fortunately for Tory Lanez, they only held him temporarily, and he was eventually released. Though weed is legal in Nevada, it is still not legal federally, so he was prevented from flying with it. While an investigation is reportedly ongoing, he may escape prosecution for a minor cannabis offense.

Even though Tory Lanez missed his flight out of Vegas on Saturday, his schedule shouldn’t be too affected. The “Say It” creator was booked to perform at Drais on Sunday night to entertain the crowd for NFL draft weekend.

Meanwhile, Tory Lanez was back in the headlines this week after Megan Thee Stallion gave an interview on CBS Mornings. She spoke to Gayle King about the alleged shooting incident and maintained that Tory fired a gun at her.

After the interview, Gayle King expressed an interest in getting the other side of the story. “I would love to talk to Tory Lanez if he ever wanted to speak as well,” the journalist told Entertainment Tonight. “We certainly have an open invitation to him. We reached out to his attorney and we got the traditional ‘we don’t have anything to say at this particular time’ [response].”

Tiffany Haddish Wants To Link With Common Again – To Make Music Together

Tiffany Haddish has revealed she is working on “hip-hop and classical” tracks for her upcoming Hollywood projects.

During a recent chat with TMZ, the “Girls Trip” star explained that she is developing her own original music.

“It’s not a bit of a career change – I’ve been making music,” she said. “Go to Apple, go to Spotify, put in Tiffany Haddish music… you will see I’ve been doing this for years.”

As for her dream collaborators, Tiffany listed Beyoncé and her ex-boyfriend Common as two people she’d like to make music with.

But while Tiffany has set her sights on the music industry, she doesn’t exactly have plans to become a full-time artist.

“I don’t necessarily want to go viral, I want to put it in my movies and TV shows. If I go viral, that’s cool,” the 42-year-old added.

Tiffany released singles “Too Much” and “Do Our Thing,” which featured Snoop Dogg, in 2020.

Lizzo Revamped “Special” Album To Fill It With Bangers

Lizzo took a bunch of songs off her upcoming album Special because they didn’t fit her new vibe.

The rapper/singer had an epiphany after she wrote her uplifting and empowering single “About Damn Time” and decided to scrap all the songs on Special that didn’t fit in with her desired “love” and “bangers” vibe.

“I changed the album last minute, I took off a lot of songs that didn’t match this new vibe I was in, especially after writing About Damn Time,” she said in an interview with ET Canada.

“I wrote this (single) like two months ago and I think I had an epiphany like, ‘Oh I only want songs that are love frequency’, like, very about love, and also bangers. I wanted to make Lizzobangers (the name of her debut album) again. So even if it’s a ballad, it bangs.”

Describing the tracks on Special, her fourth studio album, the “Truth Hurts” singer added, “Every song is memorable and delicious and you want to hear it again and again and again.”

“About Damn Time” was released as the lead single off Special in mid-April and the album, which features 12 tracks, will come out on July 15th.

Earlier this week, she announced that her The Special Tour will kick off in Florida in September.

Pete Davidson Hopes Kanye Will Dress Up As Female Housekeeper To See His Kids

Pete Davidson broke his silence on his feud with Kanye West during a stand-up show on Friday.

“The King of Staten Island” star took to the stage as part of the “Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival” held at the Hollywood Bowl, where he took aim at some of the rapper’s recent comments about him.

The pair have been feuding online since Pete started dating Kanye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, last year.

“How is your year going?” he began, kicking off with the rumor Kanye started that Pete has AIDS.

Pete sarcastically called the “Stronger” artist a “genius” for igniting the speculation before relating, “(Comedian) John Mulaney said, ‘He said you have AIDS? You should say he has polio.'”

Pete then joked about Kanye’s issues with his custody arrangement with Kim over their four children.

Referencing the 1993 movie about a divorced man who dresses up as a female babysitter to spend more time with his kids, he joked, “Am I the only one who secretly hopes Kanye will go full ‘Mrs. Doubtfire?'”

Rap Music Pioneer Eric B. Taps Fat Joe, Fabolous And More For New TV Series ‘Harlem World’

Hip-Hop pioneer Eric B. has shown the world how to flip the script a few times.

The man known for mean-mugging behind two turntables in a fly Gucci jacket with the God emcee, Rakim, has been a music executive and an accomplished actor.

Eric B. currently has a recurring role on CBS’s “Blue Bloods,” and now he is taking the next steps for domination in the world of TV.

His show “Harlem World” has currently in development with acclaimed director Brett Dos Santos (“Mayans M.C.”) and writer Jeff Farley.

A rep for Eric B. told AllHipHop.com, “the series will be a period piece that travels from the 1970s to the turn of the 20th century and is about the struggle for power and the evolution of the drug game in Harlem.”

While the story is fictionalized, it will be based on actual events that happened in the cold streets of the village of Harlem when drugs like heroin, dust, coke, and crack were kings.

Because of Eric B’.s celebrity, he was able to tap some of his rapper and singer friends and exploit their other gifts outside of music.

Many of those he asked to make special appearances, like Big Daddy Kane, Scarface, Slick Rick, Fabolous, Too Short, Nas, Ashanti, and Fat Joe, are talented actors in their own right.

A release date for “Harlem World” has yet to be announced.

Willow Smith Discusses Her Battle With Anxiety; Says Jada Also Suffers From The Disorder

Willow Smith recently forgave her mother, Jada Pinkett Smith, for downplaying her struggles with anxiety.

In the latest episode of Red Table Talk, the “Whip My Hair” star recounted to guest Ireland Baldwin how she found it difficult to discuss her experiences with the disorder as a young woman.

“It was rough. I feel like when I was growing up, she didn’t understand my anxiety. Because she, growing up, had seen her friends die – she had been through so much stuff that my issues, to her, kind of felt like…(smaller),” Willow Smith shared. “And that was very frustrating for me as a child. Because I was like, ‘How can you not see my internal and emotional struggle?'”

Willow Smith described how she and her mom sat down and had a serious chat about the issue, and Jada confessed that she only recently discovered that she also had struggled with anxious feelings.

“Recently, we had a talk, and she was like, ‘I never knew that I actually experienced anxiety,'” the 21-year-old continued. “And she was pushing it down for so many years like she had no idea. So, I had to forgive her a little bit for being like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah… I get it, but it’s really not that bad.'”

Emotive-Driven Rapstar Moibandaa Can Do It All

Learning to adapt to new trends, keep up with industry styles and still push yourself as a distinguished artist is the mantle of responsibility many fail to grasp.  It’s a fine balance of maturity, discipline, and tribulation to learn the ropes of navigating a noisy and many times nasty music culture. With so many voices at bay, how can you pay attention to the nuances of rising artists? One such artist originally from the UK has caught our attention. Learning to leave his motherland and live in multiple counties has taught him a thing or two about perseverance. Meet budding recording artist Moibandaa.

Moibanda Rogers, or simply Moibandaa, is a new artist from the UK, currently residing in Maryland. His work has served as an inspiration for many, and the artist is starting to reap the benefits of his hard work. At 24 years old the artist has quickly started to rise to the top and cement his position within the industry.

His work has received recognition from those major record labels both within the US and across the globe which has contributed to his recent songs gaining traction. We asked him why he chose music, and he told us that “it kind of just came to me, I’ve always enjoyed it but I was always focused on playing soccer, doing fashion, and/or school. Those came naturally but the music just felt different, and I felt at peace while doing it. It really started to become therapeutic especially when my racing thoughts got worse. It was hard to sleep, think or focus on a single thing, and music was my way to get those thoughts out of my head.”

Moibandaa also told us that: “it started really early for me, the first thing I picked up quickly was learning that artists, and producers changed little things in a song to give it an edge, whether it was the beat at a certain point, the flow or even how the words were being delivered. Being able to distinguish these differences made me gravitate towards it even more because it can make all the difference in a song. I learned how to play piano at an early age, but in year 6 I was selected for my school’s band, where I played the drums for a year, and that really helped me understand rhythm.

I later then joined the choir, where I got better at composing melodies and writing lyrics. I started to take songwriting seriously during 10th grade, and that is when I started to make a lot of songs to help express what I was feeling during this time. I’m glad I’ve gone back to it, it’s been a blessing in disguise and I’m eager to continue learning and mastering this craft”.

Moibandaa has several songs posted on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Soundcloud, and several others. Now that he has started to gain traction, he wants to seize the opportunity and make the most of it. With the goal of trying to inspire the youth and push them to achieve their dreams he knows he has to keep pushing because it’s more than just about him in his mind. You can follow his journey by following his Instagram account @moibandaa and can stream his music on Spotify at the link HERE.

Megan Fox Manifested Machine Gun Kelly Into Existence…When She Was 4

Megan Fox has claimed she started “manifesting” the idea of Machine Gun Kelly when she was a girl.

The “Jennifer’s Body” actress and the musician, real name Colson Baker, met on the set of the 2021 movie “Midnight in the Switchgrass” and got engaged in January.

In an interview for the April 2022 issue of Glamour UK magazine, Megan explained that Kelly is her dream man.

“He’s literally my exact physical type that I’ve been manifesting since I was four,” she commented. “I’m also four years older than him. So, I think I made him. My thoughts and intentions grew him into the person that he is. Who knows what he would’ve looked like or been like if it wasn’t for me.”

Megan went on to note that both she and Kelly hesitated about taking on roles in “Midnight in the Switchgrass,” but realized why their paths had crossed when they started rehearsing together.

“I didn’t know why I was taking the movie. I just knew I needed to do it for some reason. And then, when I was at the table read, there was still one character that hadn’t been cast. And I asked, ‘Who was playing that character?'” the 35-year-old recalled. “And they were like, ‘Oh, it’s Machine Gun Kelly.’ And I kind of knew the name but didn’t, so I’m looking it up, and I was like, ‘Oh, I’m going to be in so much trouble…'”

Tyga Loses Proceeds From Wavy Baby Sneakers After Judges Bans Kicks Over Battle With Vans

Tyga’s recent foray into the sneaker business has ended with the rap star taking a legal loss.

Tyga teamed up with streetwear brand MSCHF to drop 4,306 pairs of his own customized Wavy Baby sneaker.

Shortly after the rapper and MSCHF started promoting their sneaker collaboration on April 18th, they were hit with a lawsuit by Vans.

The company took issue with Wavy Baby’s logo, which lawyers for Vans said was a complete rip-off of their legendary trademark.

The company marched into court and filed a lawsuit against MSCHF for trademark infringement.

MSCHF claimed their creation was a parody of the iconic Vans logo and protected by First Amendment speech. However, the argument has been shot down.

Earlier this week, a judge sided with Vans and effectively banned Tyga’s Wavy Baby sneaker from going on sale, reports Billboard.

The company said they had already shipped almost all of the 4,306 pairs, so a judge ordered all of the proceeds from the sales to be placed into escrow for potential returns.

“The court’s decision fails to recognize MSCHF’s First Amendment rights to artistic expression, regardless of the particular medium or form of that expression,” MSCHF’s lawyer Megan K. Bannigan said in a statement to Billboard. “MSCHF will continue to litigate this case, including through all available appeals, to secure its and all artists’ freedom to make their art.”

This is the second significant loss for MSCHF.

The streetwear brand also lost in court during a highly publicized battle over the sneaker line they created with Lil Nas X.

The “Old Town road” rapper dropped 666 pairs of his customized Nikes, dubbed “Satan Shoes.” The customized Air Max 97’s featured pentagrams and drops of real human blood in the soles.

Nike feared the Satan Shoes would cause confusion in the marketplace and have people thinking they endorsed the hell-ish sneakers.

Nike won an injunction against MSCHF for trademark infringement over those sneakers as well, which were meant to promote Lil Nas X’s single “Montero (Call Me By Your Name).”

A$AP Rocky Returns To The Stage With Pregnant Rihanna’s Support

Rap star A$AP Rocky is back to performing after he was unexpectedly arrested last week.

The Harlem, New York rapper took to the stage At the annual Smokers Club Festival in West Hollywood last night (April 30th).

Rocky had some extraordinary support thanks to the presence of his pregnant girlfriend-superstar billionaire/singer Rihanna.

Rihanna stood backstage supporting the embattled rapper, who was taken into custody over an alleged shooting in Hollywood back in November of 2021.

The cops claim surveillance footage captured A$AP Rocky shooting at a man during an altercation. Fortunately, the man only suffered a graze wound to his hand, but it was enough to trigger an investigation by the LAPD.

A$AP Rocky was arrested by ICE and LAPD officers at LAX on April 20th, when he returned home from a vacation in Barbados with Rihanna.

Last night, the pair seemed to forget about the rapper’s legal troubles.

According to reports, Rihanna cradled her baby bump as her boyfriend performed his catalog of hits.

Unfortunately for the couple expecting their first child together, A$AP Rocky’s legal turmoil is far from over.

He is currently free on a $550,000 bond as investigators make their case against him. A$AP Rocky is facing a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.

Jay-Z’s VC Invests $33 Million In Beauty Company

Jay-Z and not his gorgeous wife Beyonce has backed a beauty brand by dumping millions into an investment fund to put the company in a position to blow.

This week, Madison Reed, a hair color bar and retail footprint company, announced it had received $33 million in new financing from Sandbridge Capital and the Brooklyn rapper’s venture capitalist arm, Marcy Venture Partners.

Amy Errett, CEO, and Founder of Madison Reed talked about why the company is such a sure win to invest in.

“Madison Reed was built on the belief that salon-gorgeous hair color should be convenient, affordable, and made with ingredients women can feel good about,” Errett said. “We have achieved this by showing women that Madison Reed products and services give them agency and autonomy when it comes to coloring their hair, with high-quality results through our at-home products or in our 60+ nationwide Hair Color Bar locations.”

She continued, “As we continue to grow our geographic and retail footprint, we couldn’t be more excited to partner closely with Sandbridge Capital and Marcy Venture Partners in this chapter of expansion. Their deep retail and beauty experience will be critical as we enter our next stage of growth.”

Jay-Z has not discussed his investment in the brand. Madison Reed’s is sold in retailers like Ulta and Ulta Beauty at Target and has a strong recurring customer base online at Madison-Reed.com and Amazon.com.

Cardi B Takes A Stab At Country Music With Black CMT Award Winner Jimmie Allen

Rapper Cardi B proved her music can translate to multiple audiences worldwide.

The Bronx beauty has recently tapped a new country fanbase — the one she is becoming fully immersed in as an Atlanta resident.

The GRAMMY winner linked with African American country singer Jimmie Allen to present a remix of her 2020 hit, “Money,” with that classic southern flare.

Entertainment Tonight debuted the video with the two collaborating artists, miraculously blending both genres in a surprise performance in a Western-style saloon in Los Angeles for her show “Cardi Tries.”

According to Cardi B, this was her first pop-up performance since 2019, and she saved the experience memorable for her series. On it, the rapper learns how to line dance and ride a mechanical bull with her celebrity sidekick.

As the two end the episode, they give the fans the big pay-off, the mashup of that club banger, where Allen is playing the guitar, and Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar Cephus, belts out her verses in country-girl twang.

This is not the first time Jimmie Allen has mixed genres, bringing people from Urban over to his world. The Delaware native recently performed on the CMT Music Award 2022 and incorporated Monica into his performance of “Pray” with Little Big Town.

This is a start change from her previous episode with comedian Affion Crockett.

The two went camping and learned how to survive in the wilderness, including finding shelter and even purifying water using a sock.

“Cardi Tries” can be seen on Watch Together via Messenger, Instagram, and Facebook Watch.

Machine Gun Kelly Buys A $7.5M House In the Same Town As Michael Jackson’s Family’s Home

Ohio rapper Machine Gun Kelly has splurged on a new home.

Sources say he spent a cool $7.5 million on a seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom property in the exclusive Rancho Estates in Encino, CA.

Many have heard of the exclusive Encino community as one of music’s talented families lived there: The Jacksons. Michael Jackson’s family compound, Hayvenhurst, housed all the famous children until they grew up and broke out on their own.

A fact more interesting than the home’s price tag is who he copped it from.

The “Emo Girl” rapper’s new crib belonged to YouTuber and podcaster Logan Paul who bought the property in 2017 for $6.6 million.

When the property went up for sale, Paul wanted to upsell it for $9 million, which would have made him a small fortune. That would not be the case.

The rap/rock star walked away with a steal on what the real estate agent described as an “ultra-private contemporary compound” in a home that has been “completely remastered and remodeled.”

The house’s amenities are a fully equipped chef’s kitchen, both formal and informal dining, a large pool, lounge, and entertaining space, a grass area, and an outdoor Grotto Kitchen.

The listing placed up by the Altman Brothers further states, “Outfitted with reclaimed wood siding, vaulted ceilings, exquisite lighting, elegant hardwood floors, marble countertops, and Italian finishes, the home is a true architectural masterpiece.”

A perfect new start for the Cleveland native and his new fiancé Megan Fox.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, MGK and Fox are wildly in love and have engaged in some of the most outrageous rituals to declare their love.

Now they will have their own abode to freak out if they so choose.

DaBaby Charged With Felony Assault For Beating Up A Senior Citizen

Rapper DaBaby is in serious legal trouble after beating a man up at his own home during a violent melee during a video shoot in December of 2020.

DaBaby has been hit with a felony assault charge for the violent beating of a senior citizen during a video shoot gone wrong.

Gary Pagar leased his Runyon Canyon vacation home to DaBaby during the height of COVID-19 restrictions in Los Angeles. The rapper signed a lease stating that, amongst other things, only 12 people were allowed to be on the property.

However, DaBaby flouted the rules and invited over 40 people to the house for the video shoot, which included YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.

Pagar got wind of the wild scene at his house and tried to stop the shenanigans. When he arrived, he was knocked to the ground.

He chased the senior citizen around the property. When he finally caught up to Pagar, DaBaby punched him in the mouth and knocked out his tooth.

When the man fell to the ground, DaBaby, a man named Thankgod Awute, and their crew stomped and kicked Pagar while he writhed in pain. They also took Pagar’s phone and tossed it back and forth to prevent him from calling the cops.

Eventually, Pagarr regained control of his phone and called the cops. To add insult to Pagar’s injuries, DaBaby never paid the rental bill.

DaBaby’s facing a felony assault charge, while Awute was charged with felony robbery.

The news comes on the heels of a re-surfaced video of DaBaby shooting and killing a teenager inside a Charlotte-area Walmart in November of 2018.

DaBaby was shopping when he ended up in a fight after a group of men approached him inside the store. The rapper said Jaylin Craig pulled a gun during the brawl, prompting DaBaby to draw his own gun and kill the 19-year-old.

Earlier this month, DaBaby shot an intruder in the leg after he trespassed on his North Carolina property.

The 30-year-old rapper, real name Jonathan Kirk, was at home at his compound in Troutman when the man trespassed onto the estate on Wednesday evening.

DaBaby exchanged words with the intruder before shooting him in the leg. He reportedly called 911 and was cooperative with police officers on the scene.

According to the emergency call obtained by local news station WCNC, an unidentified man told the dispatcher, “I shot him in the leg… He’s trespassing on my property… I don’t know what he’s here for. What he’s here to take, what he’s here to do… He’s neutralized until you guys get here.”

Officers arrived and found a 26-year-old man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, the Troutman Police Department said in a statement.

The victim was transported to a nearby medical facility to treat the injury.

Local reports suggest the intruder climbed a fence and was shot on the football field of the property.
