Jim Jones dropped by FOX5’s Good Day New York on Monday morning (Mar. 28) to deliver a hilarious weather report, Weavahman Jim style.  

The Dipset rapper shared a clip on Instagram reporting on the cold conditions across the country. 

“We looking like we in our fifth or sixth winter,” Jim Jones said. “It’s pretty chilly. It’s supposed to be spring, but spring is out of here. New York City, you’re in the dubs. You’re in the 20’s. When you’re in the 20’s, you gotta drop down and get your eagle on. Baby girl cover that lace front up, because it might get a little bit chilly.” 

He continued, “The rest of the country doesn’t get no better for anywhere, Miami’s even in the sixties and you know that’s supposed to be beach weather so what we doing here people? I don’t know who’s in charge, somebody tell me the rules out here.” 

However, things look a little brighter come the weekend. Jim Jones told viewers “spring has sprung,” therefore, it’s time to “bring out your new white Air Force 1s.”

The hotel where Hov has previously held Oscar parties has been the subject of a boycott since 2020, supported by Issa Rae, Spike Lee, Ta-Nehisi Coates, and more. 

Kurt Petersen, Co-President of the organization leading the boycott, Unite Here Local Union 11, says the event was heavily secured. 

“There was an enormous security and police force that Jay-Z and Chateau must have called in,” he told Page Six. “I have never seen so many private security guards in my life in one event. You would have thought it was Camp David or the White House.” 

He added, “We find it ironic that Jay-Z is about fighting back against the man and he had enormous support from the police.”  

However, according to Petersen, many of the protesters want to be able to return to their jobs. “Workers want to go back and work there and change the way that it [Chateau Marmont] does business,” he said. “They want to make sure people are treated with respect and dignity.”

Lil Kim says she and Will Smith still experience “the same level of hate” as they did over two decades ago when they made “Da Butta,” back in 1999. 

The Queen Bee has spoken out amid the fallout from the 2022 Oscars where Will Smith slapped Chris Rock live on air after the comedian made a joke about his wife, alopecia sufferer Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head.  

Lil Kim took to Instagram on Monday evening (Mar. 28) to share a clip from the song. “Haters be making me wanna flip and react,” Will Smith prophetically raps in one line.  

“it’s so funny how art imitates Life sometimes,” Lil Kim wrote in the caption. “@willsmith and I did this song in the early 2000s 😹😹😹 and we’ve been friends ever since. It is my understanding that King Richard suffers from dementia. He also had a stroke. I am not in the know, but I have not seen or read a single remark or interview of Mr. Richard Williams until now. So, I am not sure about the statement.

Neither Venus nor Serena have commented either. By the way, Venus had a nip-slip live on TV and nobody noticed.

Will Smith issued another apology for slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Academy Awards.

The movie star addressed Chris Rock directly in a statement released on Monday (March 28). Will Smith apologized to the comedian and expressed regret for his actions at the Oscars.

“Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive,” Will Smith wrote. “My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.”

The veteran rapper issued an apology to Will Smith via Instagram. Uncle Murda said sorry for airing out The Fresh Prince and Jada Pinkett Smith on “Rap Up 2021.”

Lil Xan Enters Rehab After Getting Released From Psych Ward

Lil Xan reportedly left a psychiatric ward after medical professionals determined he wasn’t a danger to himself or others.

According to TMZ, Lil Xan spent three days in the psych ward before being released. He moved to a rehab center in an effort to continue treatment for his mental health.

Lil Xan checked into a hospital due to exhaustion, dehydration and depression. Last week, he informed his Instagram followers that he was hospitalized on a “5150.”

5150 is the number of a section of the Welfare and Institutions Code addressing people who may be a danger to themselves or others. It allows a person dealing with mental health issues to be involuntarily detained for 72 hours.

“DIDN’T WANT TO EVEN LET PEOPLE KNOW HOW BAD IT WAS AFFECTING MY MENTAL HEALTH BUT I FEEL I SHOULD, BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL ON A 51/50,” Lil Xan wrote on Instagram Stories. “PLEASE STOP SPEAKING ABOUT ME IF YOU DONT KNOW ME IM A HUMAN BEING JUST LIKE YOU.”

Lil Xan has been open about his struggles with drugs, detailing his addiction in an appearance on 60 Minutes. He also accused his former manager Stat Quo of enabling his addiction.

Alopecia Advocate Says Will Smith Showed “Strength” For Slapping Chris Rock

The world is buzzing after rapper-turned-actor Will Smith slapped Chris Rock for cracking a joke on his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head. 

Pinkett Smith has publicly said that she is suffering from the autoimmune disease, alopecia, a disorder that makes one’s hair fall out.

She announced it on her Facebook/Meta series, Red Table Talk in 2020.

While the first time Oscar winner said he was defending his wife and protecting her from any further ridicule (even if it were a poorly crafted joke), many, like “Ex on the Beach” contestant and hair-loss advocate ZaraLena Jackson, felt the 53-year-old was standing up for them, NY Post reports.

Especially since she too has been called G.I. Jane before.

The joke prompted Will Smith to bang on Rock after he said that Pinkett Smith looked like she was getting ready to star in the sequel of the first film, where a woman shaved her had to serve in the military.

Women are bald for many reasons other than to pass for men, and Jackson thought that Rock should have “known better.”

“I think it’s inappropriate to make any joke about someone with alopecia as it’s a condition that highly impacts mental health for that individual and isn’t a laughing matter,” she said. “To be clear, I don’t condone violence, but him defending Jada showed strength in my eyes and was very comforting to see a man stand by his woman when she has alopecia.”

She continued, “Being a comedian is very tongue in cheek, and we all dislike when jokes are targeted as us, regardless of the subject, but he should have anticipated that response naturally and known better.

“I’ve had friends and family joke about ‘let your hair down’ or ask to borrow a razor or shampoo, which I just laugh at because I know they mean no harm, and it can be humorous to see them panic without thinking about the comment.”

One family member that joked about it was Jackson’s mother, who once said, “Oh wow Zara, you look like a GI Jane babe!'”

The advocate hopes people will be one day see alopecia as a “medical condition and not cosmetic,” then she argues “the subject wouldn’t be joked around lightly.”

Officials have “condemned” Will Smith for his actions during the Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday night.

During the ceremony, the “King Richard” actor sensationally walked up on stage and slapped comedian Chris Rock around the face after he made a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair loss.

In light of the shocking moment, a representative for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) issued a statement revealing that they would be conducting a formal review of the incident.

“The Academy condemns the actions of Mr. Smith at last night’s show,” they commented. “We have officially started a formal review around the incident and will explore further action and consequences in accordance with our Bylaws, Standards of Conduct, and California law.”

Following the show, an AMPAS rep simply tweeted, “The Academy does not condone violence of any form.”

Will apologized for his actions during his Best Actor acceptance speech. Chris has not filed a police report.

Tiffany Haddish found Will Smith slapping Chris Rock to defend his wife’s honor at the 2022 Oscars “beautiful.”

During the Academy Awards ceremony, Chris made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair loss before presenting the Best Documentary Feature award.

While Will laughed at the joke at first, Jada, who suffers from alopecia, appeared visibly unimpressed, and Will responded by getting on stage and smacking Chris before warning him to never speak about her again.

When asked for her reaction at the Governors Ball, Tiffany said she thought it was “beautiful” how Will stood up for his wife, her “Girls Trip” co-star Jada.

“When I saw a Black man stand up for his wife. That meant so much to me,” she told People. “As a woman, who has been unprotected, for someone to say, ‘Keep my wife’s name out your mouth, leave my wife alone,’ that’s what your husband is supposed to do, right? Protect you.

“And that meant the world to me. And maybe the world might not like how it went down, but for me, it was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen because it made me believe that there are still men out there that love and care about their women, their wives.”

Tiffany noted that Chris is a friend of Will and Jada’s and accused him of exploiting her hair loss for a joke.

“Why would you do that? He didn’t even run the joke by her, but she was hurt though,” she said. “If she wouldn’t have been hurt, (Will) probably wouldn’t have said nothing. But you could see he was clearly… And they exploited it. They exploited her, so ‘I have to do something’… He protected his wife.”

It has been reported that Will skipped the press room and the Governors Ball after the ceremony. He was later seen on the red carpet at Vanity Fair’s annual party with Jada, their children Jaden and Willow, and his son Trey.

But he also said Chris Rock played it loose with a joke that was “beneath” him. Stern is used to saying slick stuff and derogatory jokes about people on this platform.

But he said: “This is a sign of great mental illness when you can’t control your impulse. Not only that, it was hardly an insulting joke. It was not even a good joke.”

“The joke, quite frankly, was beneath Chris Rock. It was a throwaway. ‘You look like G.I. Jane,'” Howard Stern added.

The SiriusXM Radio talk show host said Will Smith is “a guy who’s got real issues” for responding that way.

“[Rock is] so fast comedy-wise, he actually covered and made a joke and said, ‘Gee, best Oscars yet.'” He added, “He was able to comment outside of what just happened to him, and then he got flustered. He got f##### over.”

“He got up, and he compared Jada Pinkett Smith to one of the most beautiful women in the world, Demi Moore,” Howard Stern continued. “You don’t hit people over speech, certainly not at the Academy Awards, and Will Smith’s got to contain himself.”

Howard Stern said he also thought the slap was staged until realizing Will Smith was defending his Black wife — who has been the butt of many jokes over the last few years.

“The first thing I said to my wife, ‘The f### is going on? Is this a bit? Because, where’s security?'” he told his audience. “This is a live television event. Not one person came out because he’s Will Smith.”

Will Smith, an African American man from the Wynnefield section of West Philadelphia, is one of Hollywood’s most recognized and important movie stars.

YouTuber-turned-boxer-turned-promoter Jake Paul has offered Will Smith and Chris Rock a $15 million purse each to fight one another in the ring.

After witnessing Smith slap the comedian in the face during a live broadcast of the 2022 Academy Awards, Sal Vulcano took to Twitter to ask Paul would spend to see that fight happen on a pay-per-view.

“Over/under on how much Jake Paul is gonna offer Chris Rock and Will Smith for a boxing PPV?”

“I got $15m for Will Smith and $15m for Chris Rock ready to go,” Paul tweeted. “Let’s do it in August on my undercard.”

He previously offered Kanye West and Pete Davidson the same deal.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, Chris Rock said, “Jada, I love you, ‘G.I. Jane 2,’ can’t wait to see it,” Rock said on stage. 

Pinkett Smith gasped at the joke about her bald head, caused by the autoimmune condition alopecia. In response to his wife, Smith walked up to Rock and slapped him in the face.

When he sat down, he said, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f###### mouth,” Smith shouted after exiting the stage.

Neither actor has fought before professionally, and its unlikely that the two will settle anything publicly. 

Diddy said to TMZ, they already have. Smith and Rock allegedly met up at the Vanity Fair afterparty.

“That’s not a problem. That’s over. I can confirm that,” Diddy, said. “It’s all love. They’re brothers.”

Some well-known news pundits put former President Donald Trump and Putin’s war on Ukraine “smack” dab in the middle of Will Smith and Chris Rock’s altercation at The Oscars last night. 

During the ceremony, the Best Actor winner for “King Richard” sensationally got up on stage and slapped the comedian around the face after making a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair loss.

Taking to Twitter following the incident, their son Jaden seemingly showed support for his family by writing, “And That’s How We Do It.”

Jaden, his sister Willow and their half-brother Trey later put on a united front with Will and Jada by posing as a family at the Vanity Fair post-Oscars party. 

Will was filmed rapping and dancing to his hits “Miami,” “Summertime,” and “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It” on the dancefloor with his Oscar in hand.

Social media blew up following the incident, with many celebrities weighing in.

Well-known strategist Steve Schmidt took the comparison further by comparing Will’s situation to Russian President Vladimir Putin and his war on Ukraine.

“Truth and lies. Do you want to understand how Putin can successfully tell his people that he sent the Russian Army to Ukraine, a nation with a Jewish President whose family was wiped out in the Holocaust, to fight Nazis? Simple,” Steve Schmidt reasoned. “Did you stand up and cheer when a movie star worth hundreds of millions of dollars assaulted a comic on national television and then gave a speech where he talked about being a ‘vessel for love’? If you did and you think you are better than the school teacher at a MAGA event or the retiree in the villages watching Tucker [Carlson].

“Will Smith lost control and committed a crime. The crowd cheered a crime because it also lost control,” he continued. “There is a difference though. The loss of control by the crowd was caused by a surrender of individualism and agency to the false comfort of belonging. There is no blanket that is warmer.

“Do you want to understand how Trump happened? Watch the Oscars and the crowd reaction. The pull to belong is very powerful,” Schmidt added.

Will apologized to everyone but Chris for his actions during his Best Actor acceptance speech. Chris decided not to file a police report.
