Big Sean Talks His Acting Debut & Plans to Write A Movie

Big Sean admitted he was touched by the recent deaths of beloved figures such as Nipsey Hussle, Chadwick Boseman, and Virgil Abloh and has a new desire to push himself out of his comfort zone.

“We’ve been losing a lot of close people,” he said during a recent interview with TVLine. “We’ve been losing a lot of visionaries, a lot of peers, a lot of artists. You really realize how valuable your time is, so I’ve been like, ‘Man, I have to do all these things I’ve always wanted to do. II want to write a book. I want to musically explore other thing.” He added, “I want to take it to different levels. I want to write movies. Time is so not guaranteed. You just have to do it.”

The “Bounce back” rapper has been flexing his acting chops in Season 2 of the Lena Waithe comedy Twenties. The second installment of the show ended on Wednesday (Dec. 15) and Big Sean is keen to make a return as the anti-social media guy, Tristan. “I would love to return,” he said. “I would love to see how the story unfolds.”

Big Sean Talks His Role As “Tristan”

Elsewhere during the discussion, Big Sean talked about playing a live-action fictional character for the first time.

“It’s a different experience, for sure,” the “Mercy” hitmaker said. “A lot of doing it over and over again and hoping that they use the right take. There’s a lot of things you’re thinking about like, ‘Dang, I really like how I did it this way, and they might not use it because it [doesn’t] fit the director’s vision.’ It’s a different game than music, but a lot of similarities, since you have to focus and apply yourself, and the product turns out the way it does.”

Meanwhile, a preview clip of Big Sean’s upcoming Drink Champs appearance has emerged online. In the snippet, Big Sean shared his feelings on Kanye West following that infamous interview.

“I love Kanye, bro,” he told N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN. “I love him for the opportunity he gave me and all these things. But I thought what he said was some b#### ass s###.”

Flavor Flav Almost Killed By Massive Boulder

Flavor Flav is lucky to be alive after a boulder struck his car while he was driving earlier this week.

A representative for the Public Enemy co-founder, real name William Drayton Jr., revealed to TMZ reporters not long after the incident that the star had been on a road trip from Las Vegas to Los Angeles when wet conditions caused a large rock to tumble down a cliffside in the La Tuna Canyon.

The boulder smashed into the right side of Flav’s car, and while it caused him to “briefly” lose control of the vehicle, he was able to pull over to the side of the road.

Reflecting on the incident, the 62-year-old told the outlet that while he came “very close to death” he is “super grateful to be alive.”

It has a heavy bassline that perfectly complements the flowing lyrics to make anyone fall in love.

His next release, “Alone,” is another soul-soothing melody that wonderfully blends notes of hip-hop with the harmony of R&B. Megan Thee Stallion Blasts “False” Cat Fight Narratives In Tory Lanez Shooting Drama

Megan Thee Stallion is blasting the notion that she was involved in a “cat fight” with her friend Kelsey, just before she was shot, supposedly by Tory Lanez, in July of 2020.

The “WAP” hitmaker claims that the rapper, real name Daystar Peterson, shot her on the street as she walked away from their car after they got involved in a dispute while driving home from Kylie Jenner’s party.

However, Tory Lanez’ lawyer Shaun Holley suggested that Megan’s friend Kelsey could have been the shooter, because the pair were allegedly involved in a fight just before the shooting. Holley said a witness said the muzzle flash of the gun was closer to Kelsey, and that she also had gun powder residue on her hands.

Megan took to Twitter to blast the narrative being pushed by Tory Lanez’ lawyer.

“Don’t blogs/ journalists have to have accurate/ credible sources before going with a story?” Megan asked. “Or is it just like a new I got paid to post this or I heard out from my home girl type policy these days.”

“Like I’ve been SHOT and the focus of some these headlines are dismissing that I was attacked with a WEPON (sic) WHILE I WAS UNARMED and trying to paint it as a cat fight between friends why do I have to relive this with everyone on the internet every day ? And watch y’all gaslight me,” Megan said.

During the hearing, Los Angeles Police detective Ryan Stogner gave testimony based on his interviews with the “Hot Girl Summer” star. According to him, Megan claimed the rapper yelled, “Dance, b####!” before shooting her in the foot.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Keith Borjon upheld the charges against the 29-year-old Canadian.

Tory Lanez took to his Twitter account to proclaim his innocence.

“I need someone to REPORT what was REALLY said in court today, 45 minutes of my lawyer stating contradictory evidence that proves my innocence should never come back as one false story forced to the media.”

Tory Lanez is charged with assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, along with an additional allegation that he “personally inflicted great bodily injury.”

“(Megan) observed (Lanez) holding a firearm and then she observed him start to shoot,” the detective claimed. “Megan immediately felt pain to her feet, observed blood, fell to the ground, and then crawled to an adjacent driveway of a residence… She described her injuries as bleeding profusely.

“Megan stated the defendant apologized for doing it and offered her money and begged her to please not say anything and made a reference to the fact he was already on probation and he begged her not to say anything.

Tory Lanez is due back in court on January 13th.

Big Sean Opens Up About Kanye West’s Diss On “Drink Champs”

Big Sean appeared on Drink Champs and addressed Kanye West’s insults on a previous edition of the show.

In a preview clip of the Big Sean episode, the Def Jam rapper discussed the diss with hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN. Sean Don expressed his overall appreciation of Kanye West but criticized his old boss for disparaging him on Drink Champs.

“I love Kanye, bro,” he told N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN. “I love him for the opportunity he gave me and all these things. But I thought what he said was some b#### ass s###.”

Kanye West generated lots of headlines in November when he stopped by Drink Champs for a two-part interview. During the extensive conversation, Ye unexpectedly slammed Big Sean.

“The worst thing I’ve ever done is sign Big Sean,” he claimed.

Yeezy also called his former artist a sellout in the interview.

“Both John Legend and Big Sean, when I ran for office, got used quick by the Democrats to come at their boy that actually changed their life and that’s some sellout s###,” he said. “And I don’t rock with neither of them and I need my apologies.”

Sean Don refuted Kanye West’s political gripes on Twitter.

“The Dems? No, I didn’t,” he wrote. “I didn’t get used by anybody or endorse anyone publicly at all. Cause I’m not political. That’s what’s hilarious, none of it’s true [and] he doesn’t even know what he’s talking about. I’m rollin.”

Catch Big Sean’s entire Drink Champs interview when it premieres on Thursday (December 16).

Eminem’s Daughter Is Getting Married

Eminem’s adopted daughter, Alaina Scott, has announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Matt Moeller.

The 28-year-old announced the news via Instagram, sharing photos in which Moeller can be seen getting down on one knee during a rooftop proposal.

“This moment. this life. yes a hundred times over. I LOVE YOU,” she captioned the post, which also featured a close-up snap of her ring as they hold cocktail glasses in celebration.

Alaina Scott and Moeller celebrated their seventh anniversary in July, and in her Instagram post to mark the occasion, Scott called him her “favorite person.”

The rapper adopted Scott from his ex-wife Kim Scott’s sister, Dawn, who passed away in 2016 from a suspected drug overdose.

Eminem has spoken about his role as Alaina’s father many times over the years, most notably in his 2004 hit “Mockingbird.” He told Rolling Stone at the time about “always” being there for Scott.

“I have full custody of my niece and joint custody of (my daughter) Hailie,” he explained. “I was always there for Hailie, and my niece has been a part of my life ever since she was born. Me and Kim pretty much had her, she’d live with us wherever we was at.”

Tory Lanez Lawyer Says Someone Else Shot Megan Thee Stallion – And It Will Be Proven In Court

It has been months since anyone has heard anything about the Megan thee Stallion and Tory Lanez shooting, but now, new information about that night is coming forth.

A witness, who was there that night, is telling law enforcement that they saw the “2021 Glamour Woman of the Year” fighting her female friend right before she was shot in the foot.

According to TMZ, a detective testified at the preliminary hearing for the upcoming trial.

The detective said a witness saw everything and believes that the muzzle flash of the gun was closer to the friend, Kelsey than the love interest, Tory Lanez.

This seems to be good news for Tory Lanez.

His lawyer, Shawn Holley, is saying that the evidence points to someone else other than her client.

She shared that this news “corroborated by the gunshot residue found on the other female’s hands.” Holley continued, “It was further established that Megan gave several inconsistent accounts of what happened that night and that she omitted key information to the police.”

One of the switch-ups that Megan said in her story is that it was “glass” in her foot and not a “bullet.”

The “Cry Baby” chart-topper says that she did not originally say that Tory Lanez shot her because she was afraid the officer might shoot him. This all happened around the time of the 2020 civil unrest prompted by rampant police-involved killings of Black people last year.

The “Line Up The Flex” rapper’s lawyer remarked, “We look forward to the opportunity to cross-examine her at trial about the numerous inconsistencies in her story.”

But not so fast Holy Holley … the detective also said that before shooting Megan, Tory Lanez shouted “dance b#### dance!”

He also said that from a jailhouse the Canadian artist made a call to Kelsey and apologized for the actions he committed while drunk.

This story is developing.

Freddie Gibbs Responds to Jim Jones Beat Down Rumors

Here are the details. Last night (Dec. 14), while at Miami’s Prime 112 Jim Jones and Freddie Gibbs allegedly got into a fight. With reports saying that Gibbs got dragged. So, today, Freddie Gibbs responds to those Jim Jones beat down rumors.

First off, in a quick video posted to social media, Gangsta Gibbs confidently flashes his smile. All of the pearly whites seem to still be intact. Next, his smooth unblemished complexion radiates as brightly as his smile. Hmmmm.

So, what, if anything actually happened? In fact, the “Alfredo” MC does not appear to be battered nor to be bruised. Wearing an unbothered smirk he comfortably walks down a hallway.

Finally, a slick Hamburglar grin introduces the “1985” spitter’s sarcastic comments, ““C’mon baby. It’s me. The rabbit.”

Thus far, social media sleuths are offering serval opinions. These range from wanting these middle-aged men to sit down somewhere. To others, equating hubris to actually losing the alleged fight. While still, others look on at the Gary native with stars in their eyes.

Right now, it is undetermined if Freddie has hands. However, he definitely has bars. Listen.

NFAC’s Grand Master Jay Comments On Lafayette Judge That Compared Blacks To Roaches

In an amazing turn of events, a Louisiana area judge was caught on tape making racist statements that have now been widely distributed over the Internet.

On Monday in a published story, Judge Michelle Odinet of Lafayette was seen comparing a Black person to a roach.

Numerous aspects of legal, culture and civil advocates have commented on the stunning turn of events, and have chastised the judge for making such statements. Others, like Grand Master Jay of the NFAC, have flat-out ask for her to resign.

“There is no way this person can continue to serve as a fair and impartial judge while harboring these racist views of the African American citizens of the great city of LaFayette. The NFAC echoes the position of Sen Boudreaux and others that it is in the best interest of justice and public belief in a fair and impartial law based judiciary, that Judge Michelle Odinet resign her judgeship immediately.” – NFAC Global, Grand Master Jay, Supreme Commander

via Grand Master Jay to AllHipHop

The judge made these statements after an attempted burglary at her house over the weekend. Someone was arrested for breaking in the Odinet’s home and stealing a vehicle.

Afterwards, numerous people convened in the judge’s home, watching home surveillance of the burglery.

The video was taken at the judge’s home and there is a woman’s voice (presumably Odinet) comparing a black person to a roach. The judge says she has no recollection of the video or the disturbing language and charges she was given a sedative at the time of the video.

This is not the same judge that will be presiding over the case of one Grand Master Jay, who is charged with pointing his gun at federal and local law officers that were standing on a roof at an NFAC formation. However, it does give an glimpse into his ability to get a fair and impartial trial. Grand Master Jay denies these charges against him.

He recently conducted an interview with AllHipHop’s Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur, which will be distributed in parts. Here is part one, where he discusses Ahmaud Arbery’s cold blooded murder, the case and how it is indelibly linked to the formation of The Not F##king Around Coalition. The NFAC the largest black militia in the United States and has formed in numerous ways and cases like Arbery, Breonna Taylor ( murdered in March 2020 by police) and the Ku Klux Klan.

Hitman Holla and Cinnamon’s Sextape BREAKS the Internet!

Hitman Holla is a burgeoning entrepreneur. But, is he selling sex? Right now (Dec. 15), he is one of social media’s most suggestive trending topics. This is due to Hitman Holla and Cinnamon’s sex tape. It is breaking the internet.

Currently, this social media snafu comes courtesy of a Snapchat slip. Indeed, social media is a wonderful way to foster a connection. However, sometimes that connect may become too intimate. Thus the dreaded oversharing. As it stands, battle rap alum Hitman Holla is too privy to this.

So, what exactly is happening? The witty rapper admittedly posted the video to his designated Snapchat “close friends” list. Then, some bogus individual screen recorded the intimate encounters. Soon, the buzzard would share the flicks with the world.

To clarify, via Twitter, the Wild N’ Out cast member issues an ardent response. He writes, “Would never disrespect my girl and post something she didn’t agree to or didn’t like.” The witty wordsmith then adds, “like what sense does that make.. but jokes on me okay cool I’ll be fine lol.”

https://twitter.com/HitmanHolla/status/1471134407192989702

As it stands the couple seems to be madly in love. Their respective Instagram accounts liberally display their partners. Cinnamon seems to have fully recovered from the horrific home invasion. Although, she was shot in the face, she continues to passionately live life
