NYC Mayoral Candiate Zohran Mamdani Dances To Kendrick Lamar’s Drake Diss Before Election

Former rapper Zohran Mamdani found himself at the center of social media attention after footage emerged showing the Democratic mayoral frontrunner dancing to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” inside a New York City nightclub.

The video, which surfaced on X and Instagram on November 2, shows the 34-year-old Assembly member moving to the beat while surrounded by club-goers. The clip quickly gained traction across social platforms, with users praising the politician for his connection to Hip-Hop and his embrace of the city’s nightlife scene.

The timing proves particularly notable as Zohran Mamdani leads polls just days before the mayoral election, having emerged from relative obscurity to become the Democratic nominee.

Mamdani’s rise represents a remarkable political journey.

Born in Kampala, Uganda, he moved to New York City at age 7 and has served in the State Assembly since 2021, representing District 36.

His campaign centers on affordability and working-class issues, appealing strongly to younger voters who see him as a fresh alternative to traditional political figures.

Recent polling shows Mamdani ahead of independent candidate Andrew Cuomo, despite facing criticism over his positions on various issues.

The 34-year-old’s immigrant background and progressive principles have resonated with many New Yorkers, though his candidacy has also generated controversy in some communities.

Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” released in 2024, became a defining anthem in Hip-Hop circles after it’s vicious takedown of rap superstar Drake.

For Mamdani, whose campaign emphasizes community engagement and youth inclusion, the viral moment aligns with his image as a progressive voice rooted in New York’s creative landscape.

Freddie Gibbs & The Alchemist Channel “Pulp Fiction” For Red Rocks Halloween Show

The historic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado held its annual Halloween bash on Friday (October 31), this time with Denzel Curry, Freddie Gibbs and the Alchemist, 2DeadBoyz (Flatbush Zombies’ Zombie Juice and Meechy Darko) and Earl Sweatshirt.

Several people showed up in costume for the sold-out event, including some of the performers. To start off their set, Gibbs and Alchemist channeled Pulp Fiction and came dressed as John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson’s characters from the 1994 Quentin Tarantino film.

After performing several songs from Alfredo 2 and other collaborative/solo works, Gibbs ran off stage for a quick costume change and returned as Frozone from The Incredibles franchise (voiced by Jackson), finally embracing the seemingly endless memes comparing him to the animated character.

Gibbs’ enthusiasm over the Halloween holiday echoed throughout the crowd, with Freddy Kruger, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Michael Myers, vampires and ghosts among the many cheering them on.

Gibbs shared several Instagram photos of himself dressed as Frozone, one with a caption that read, “U could never,” presumably a nod to the 9,525 tickets that were sold to the concert. Every time an artist sells out the venue, they get a plaque to commemorate the occasion.

Backstage, Curry chopped it up with Meechy Darko and Zombie Juice, who’d just finished their set. During Gibbs and Alchemist’s performance, everyone flooded the side of the stage to watch, including Curry, Earl Sweatshirt, Meecy and Zombie Juice.

It marked one of the last shows on Gibbs’ and Alchemist’s Alfredo Tour, which continues November 7 in Portland, Oregon and wraps up in San Francisco on November 10.

@therealkyleeustice

Gibbs and The Alchemist have forged one of rap’s most acclaimed partnerships, celebrated for merging streetwise lyricism with soulful, atmospheric production. Their collaboration officially began with 2018’s Fetti (alongside Curren$y), but truly crystallized with 2020’s Grammy-nominated Alfredo  a project that showcased the seamless interplay between Gibbs’s reflective storytelling and Alchemist’s gritty, textured beats.

The duo share an artistic mutual respect and a commitment to creative independence, allowing them to continually push boundaries while resisting industry trends. Alfredo 2 demonstrates their enduring ambition, underscoring a partnership built on loyalty and the pursuit of lasting artistic legacy.

Meanwhile, Alchemist is staying busy with multiple projects, including the long awaited Erykah Badu collaboration, Abi and Al. The duo teased a sample of the project in June with the release of “Next To You,” which repurposes Alchemist’s 1999 beat for Mobb Deep’s “The Realest” featuring Kool G Rap.

Alchemist commented at the time, “For my brother Prodigy. Hope i’m making u proud Science!!!” The album was originally supposed to arrive over the summer but was delayed. A new release date has not been confirmed.

EXCLUSIVE: Tory Lanez Must Sit For Another Megan Thee Stallion Deposition

Tory Lanez must return for another court-supervised deposition in the ongoing defamation lawsuit filed by Megan Thee Stallion after a judge rejected his attempt to avoid further testimony over his alleged role in a smear campaign.

Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Lisette Reid ruled Lanez’s motion to block the deposition came too late and lacked legal merit. Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, was served with a subpoena in March 2025 but failed to object before his first deposition in April.

His lawyers argued that testifying again could damage his criminal appeal, but the judge dismissed that claim as too vague.

Reid clarified that the deposition focuses on Lanez’s communications with social media commentator Milagro Cooper, known online as Milagro Gramz, not his criminal conviction for shooting Megan in 2020.

“The Fifth Amendment doesn’t allow a witness to skip a deposition entirely,” Reid wrote. “He can only refuse to answer specific questions that might incriminate him and the judge will decide those issues as they come up.”

Tory Lanez must now sit for a third deposition under court supervision. He will be questioned only about topics relevant to the civil case and may invoke his constitutional rights on a question-by-question basis.

The court also signaled it may impose penalties or legal fees against Lanez for his earlier refusal to cooperate. That decision will come after the subsequent deposition. The legal drama stems from Megan Thee Stallion’s October 2024 lawsuit against Gramz, accusing her of defamation and harassment.

The suit alleges Milagro Gramz spread false claims that Megan Thee Stallion lied under oath, suffered from alcoholism and mental illness, and distributed deepfake pornographic content.

Megan’s attorneys claim Gramz worked closely with Tory Lanez’s father, Sonstar Peterson, who allegedly paid her thousands of dollars to post misleading content about Megan. They say this was part of a coordinated effort to discredit the Grammy-winning rapper after Lanez’s conviction.

The court sanctioned Milagro Gramz earlier this year for deleting hundreds of text messages with Peterson that were required during the discovery process. Those missing messages raised concerns about obstruction and led to increased scrutiny of her ties to Lanez.

Tory Lanez was first deposed on April 9, 2025, via Zoom from prison. That session quickly unraveled. According to court filings, Tory Lanez mocked Megan’s legal team, challenged their authority, pretended not to understand basic legal terms and made misogynistic remarks.

The deposition was cut short due to his behavior. The judge later ordered Lanez to pay Megan’s legal fees from that session and scheduled a supervised follow-up.

Tory Lanez’s conduct during the deposition prompted the court to require judicial oversight for any future testimony. He is now only allowed to plead the Fifth with a judge present to rule on each objection.

Jhené Aiko & Big Sean Reportedly End Relationship After 10-Year Love Affair

Jhené Aiko and Big Sean, one of rap’s favorite couples for the longest, have officially parted ways. This is like a decade of love, music and family down the drain.

The split reportedly didn’t happen overnight. Sources say Aiko made the difficult decision after “multiple ultimatums” and ongoing disagreements about marriage. Big Sean got the dad bod…what happened?

“She wanted marriage — she wanted the commitment,” one source said. “Sean loves her deeply, but he just never wanted to take that final step.”

The couple share a 3-year-old son and have been “together” on and off since the mid-2010s. That’s been a minute. Their relationship was unique and they even have an album they gave birth to. Twenty88 was a game changing opus.

Friends say Aiko’s patience eventually ran out. “Eventually, she realized that ring wasn’t coming,” the insider said. “She decided it was time to move on.”

There’s no drama between the two, according to the chatter. “They’re in a great place — it’s peaceful. They both respect each other too much to let things get messy. They just want to do what’s best for their child,” the source said.

All of this took a couple days to break on social media.

Fans have noticed both artists focusing on solo music in recent months. Aiko has been spotted in the studio and Big Sean is reportedly preparing his next album. This does not feel like they are getting back. I thought they were headed for marriage after the baby, but I was wrong. That being said, time will tell.

Donald Trump Calls Seth Meyers “Deranged Lunatic” Over Late-Night Catapult Jokes

Donald Trump exploded on late-night television host Seth Meyers Saturday (November 1), branding him a “deranged lunatic” and suggesting his anti-Trump comedy might be “illegal.”

Trump’s fury erupted on Truth Social after Meyers mocked Trump’s obsession with aircraft carrier catapults during Thursday’s (October 30) episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers. The comedian had played clips of Trump’s recent speech to military members aboard the USS George Washington in Japan, where the president complained about electromagnetic catapults versus steam-powered ones.

“Seth Meyers of NBC may be the least talented person to ‘perform’ in the history of television. In fact, he may be the WORST to perform, live or otherwise,” Trump wrote in his Truth Social rant.

Trump continued his attack, claiming he watched Meyers’ show “for the first time in years” and was appalled by the comedian’s extended segment about catapults. “In it, he talked endlessly about electric catapults on aircraft carriers which I complain about as not being as good as much less expensive steam catapults.”

“On and on he went, a truly deranged lunatic,” Trump added, before questioning why NBC continues to employ Meyers.

Trump’s most controversial claim came when he suggested Meyers’ criticism crossed legal boundaries: “NO TALENT, NO RATINGS” and is “100 [percent] ANTI-TRUMP, WHICH IS PROBABLY ILLEGAL.”

Meyers had joked that Trump “spends more time thinking about catapults than Wile E Coyote” and performed an impression of the president complaining about military modernization. The comedian also mocked Trump’s broader Asia trip, saying it gave him “the royal treatment he so desperately craves.”

This marks the latest escalation in Trump’s war against late-night television. In September, he declared Meyers would be the “next” host to face cancelation following Jimmy Kimmel’s brief suspension. “That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC,” Trump had written.

The attacks apparently rattled Meyers, with industry insiders reporting the host “has been freaking out” over Trump’s threats. Television experts have suggested Meyers could indeed be next to go as networks shift away from politically charged content.

But Meyers hasn’t backed down, accusing the Trump administration of “pursuing a crackdown on free speech” and offering mock praise for the president during Kimmel’s suspension crisis. “I just want to say, before we get started here, that I’ve always admired and respected Mr Trump,” Meyers joked to audience laughter.

The comedian maintained his defiant stance: “It is a privilege and an honor to call Jimmy Kimmel my friend, in the same way that it’s a privilege and honor to do this show every night. I wake up every day, I count my blessings that I live in a country that at least purports to value freedom of speech, and we’re gonna keep doing our show the way we’ve always done it: with enthusiasm and integrity.”

Trump has long complained about the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) on Ford-class carriers, preferring the older steam-driven catapults. During his USS George Washington speech, he asked military members which system they preferred, prompting shouts of “Steam” from the audience.

“They’re spending billions of dollars to build stupid electric,” Trump told the troops. “And the problem, when it breaks, you have to send up to MIT, get the most brilliant people in the world, fly them out, it’s ridiculous. The steam they said they could fix with a hammer and a blowtorch and it works just as well if not better.”

CM Punk Dominated WWE Main Event & Partied With Post Malone

CM Punk walked out with the WWE World Heavyweight title and Post Malone‘s cowboy hat Saturday night at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City after stomping out Jey Uso and soaking up the spotlight with a wild backstage link-up.

Punk didn’t have an easy ride—Uso kicked out of the GTS like a savage—but the Chicago vet still sealed the deal and scooped up the title Seth Rollins had to drop thanks to a busted shoulder. Rollins is out for six months after tweaking it in a match with Cody Rhodes, which cracked the door wide open for Punk’s return to the top.

Once the cameras stopped rolling, WWE dropped some behind-the-scenes footage showing Punk chopping it up with Posty at ringside, then dapping up Cody Rhodes in the gorilla position.

And the moment with Post Malone? Funny as hell. Punk snagged the rapper’s signature hat like a trophy, flipping the vibe to bromance real quick. That link-up meant more than a goofy hat swap too.

Earlier this year, Rollins clowned Post Malone during the Clash in Paris pay-per-view, and Post fired back by throwing down a WrestleMania 42 challenge.

So this little Punk-Post moment lowkey fanned the flames again.

Saturday night was stacked with shakeups. Jade Cargill snatched the Women’s Championship from Tiffany Stratton, and both Rhodes and Dominik Mysterio held on to their belts.

But Punk’s dub was the one that had people buzzing.

This win marks a big bounce-back for Punk, who’s been grinding to reclaim his spot since rejoining WWE. And judging by how he handled Uso, dude’s still got it.

Nicki Minaj Slammed by Nigerians After Backing Trump’s Nigeria Religious Freedom Remarks

Nicki Minaj ignited a digital storm across Nigerian social media after reposting a statement from former President Donald Trump that labeled Nigeria a “Country of Particular Concern” over alleged religious freedom violations.

The Hip-Hop icon shared Trump’s claim that “Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria” and that “Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter.”

Alongside the repost, Minaj added her own thoughts, writing on X,  “Reading this made me feel a deep sense of gratitude. We live in a country where we can freely worship God. No group should ever be persecuted for practising their religion. We don’t have to share the same beliefs in order for us to respect each other.”

That post quickly drew sharp responses from Nigerians who accused the rapper of amplifying a distorted narrative about the country’s internal strife.

Critics pointed out that the violence in Nigeria is more complex than religious persecution, often rooted in land disputes, terrorism and organized crime.

“Suddenly there’s a campaign about something that happened in Nigeria, and they want to blame Muslims. The funny thing is, Nicki Minaj suddenly cares about Christianity but stays silent about what’s happening to Christians in Gaza. So that seems to be orchestrated by someone,” one user said.

Another user urged Minaj to stay out of Nigerian political discourse.

“Nicki Minaj is misinformed, Nigeria has a population of around 240m, about half are Christians, that is over 100m Christians, Nigeria has huge mega churches with 100,000 seater auditoriums. There is no Christian genocide, there is a security issue which is affecting everybody,” \@‌minzdyna said.

Another critic, @kawugarba , outright rejected Trump’s claims.

“There is no ethnic or religious group that is being persecuted in Nigeria. What we have are Boko Haram terrorists, and they don’t discriminate; in fact, they attack and kill more Muslims while praying at mosques than any other faith in the country.”

Trump’s full statement included the claim that “Thousands of Christians are being killed” in Nigeria and added, “When Christians, or any such group, is slaughtered like is happening in Nigeria (3,100 versus 4,476 Worldwide), something must be done! The United States cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria, and numerous other Countries.”

While she faced some backlash, many people supported her stance and her backing of President Trump.

Diddy Daps Up Fellow Inmates In More Leaked Prison Photos

Diddy appears to be trying to adapt to prison life as new photos from Fort Dix show the rap mogul laughing and socializing with fellow inmates in the prison yard.

The exclusive images obtained by TMZ reveal Diddy bundled up in a thick dark blue coat, gray pants and gray beanie while chatting with other prisoners on Saturday. The 55-year-old music executive displays the biggest smile on his face as he mingles with inmates, showing no signs of tension or distress.

“Diddy’s bundled up in a thick dark blue coat, gray pants and gray beanie … shootin’ the you-know-what with the other guys,” TMZ reported about the photos.

At one point in the images, Diddy appears to be shaking hands with someone, possibly making new connections within the facility. The photos mark a stark contrast to his first prison image released earlier this week, where he appeared more solemn wearing a bright orange beanie.

Diddy was assigned to Fort Dix earlier this week after being convicted on two counts of violating the Mann Act. The low-security prison in New Jersey was his preferred choice, representing a major win for the mogul who specifically requested placement there.

Diddy is currently serving a 50-month sentence following his conviction on charges related to transportation to engage in prostitution. He has already been assigned his first prison job working laundry duty at the facility.

These yard photos provide a glimpse into Diddy’s daily routine, showing him taking advantage of recreational time after his work shifts. The images also reveal his graying beard, marking the first clear look at the rapper in more than a year since cameras weren’t allowed during his federal trial.

Mark Geragos, Diddy’s attorney, previously expressed concerns about potential violence against his client on the “2 Angry Men” podcast, but these photos suggest the mogul is managing well in his new environment.

The Fort Dix facility allows inmates outdoor recreation time, which appears to be serving as a welcome break from Diddy’s laundry duties. Fellow inmates seem comfortable approaching and conversing with the high-profile prisoner, indicating he may be integrating successfully into the prison community.

Diddy has filed a notice of appeal regarding his criminal conviction and sentence, with his legal team projecting a potential early release. His attorney Marc Agnifilo remains optimistic about reducing the mogul’s time behind bars.

Uncle Ray Copeland Remembers How Smart Styles P Was Behind Bars: “He Got All A’s!”

Before Styles P became a beloved figure in Hip-Hop — the gangster and gentleman — he was a young man trying to find direction behind bars. In a candid conversation with AllHipHop, “Uncle” Ray Copeland, who served as both Styles P’s teacher and his manager, reflected on their extraordinary connection that began in a correctional facility classroom.

“Styles P was my student before I was his manager,” Copeland said. “He was an excellent student. He was a bright young man when he came in. I taught him in the prison. So he came to Valhalla (now called Westchester County Department of Corrections) and I taught in the prison high school and GED program for youth 16 to 21.”

Styles grew up in Yonkers, New York and he encountered trouble early. A stint in jail as a teenager almost derailed his future. Copeland said he felt something unique with Styles. So, he tested the student.

“Styles came in and I said, ‘Dude, take the exam’ to place them in the classes,’” Copeland recalled. “He scored through the charts. I said something’s wrong here. I said, ‘I’ma pull your high school records.’”

When Copeland reviewed his records, he realized the young inmate was academically gifted. “Styles was very close to graduating, had an A average,” he said. “I told him, ‘You gotta finish your high school diploma.’ So that year he got his high school diploma and GED at the same time.”

Copeland said Styles P’s drive didn’t stop there. “Then we’re doing SAT college prep classes and Styles was in there. And he damn near aced the exam,” he said.

After his release, Styles P co-founded The LOX with childhood friends Jadakiss and Sheek Louch, signing to Bad Boy Records under Diddy in the mid-1990s before joining Ruff Ryders. The group became known for hits like “Money, Power & Respect,” “We’ll Always Love Big Poppa,” and uncanny chemistry. Styles has also created a prolific solo career with albums like A Gangster and a Gentleman and Time Is Money, earning respect for his social awareness and health initiatives.

Over time, Uncle Ray evolved from mentor to manager for Styles, Eve, DMX and other artists with Ruff Ryders. “He was always destined for greatness,” Copeland said. “He just needed someone to remind him of it.”

Trevon Diggs Spotted at NBA YoungBoy Concert After Concussion Saga

Trevon Diggs resurfaced under arena lights and Hip-Hop beats Friday night as the Dallas Cowboys cornerback made his first public appearance since a puzzling head injury sidelined him in October, showing up at NBA YoungBoy‘s concert at American Airlines Center in Dallas.

The 26-year-old Pro Bowler, who’s been off the radar since suffering a concussion at home ahead of Week 7, was photographed by rising Dallas rapper OC Chris enjoying the “Make America Slime Again (MASA) Tour” stop.

Social media lit up with images of Diggs in the crowd, looking laid-back and notably without a knee brace—despite previous reports of lingering leg issues.

Diggs has kept quiet since the incident and the Cowboys have offered little clarity on what exactly happened at his home. He was officially placed on injured reserve on October 25, which means the earliest he could return is Week 13, when the Cowboys play the Chiefs.

Cowboys offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer recently said the concussion is no longer the main concern and hinted Diggs could be back within “three to four weeks” if he remains on the roster.

With the NFL trade deadline looming on November 5, speculation around Diggs’ future has intensified.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, there’s a potential market for the former Alabama standout if the Cowboys are willing to absorb part of his salary.

Diggs is in the second year of a five-year deal but has no guaranteed money left after this season.

Team owner Jerry Jones has publicly backed Diggs, saying he believes the cornerback’s days in Dallas aren’t over. Still, the timing of Diggs listing his $4 million Texas home for sale just before his injury raised eyebrows among media and fans.

Before being sidelined, Diggs tallied 18 tackles in six games this season but failed to grab an interception—a sharp contrast to his 11-pick performance in 2021 when he led the league.

His concert outing suggests he’s making strides in recovery, though his status with the team remains uncertain as the trade deadline approaches.

EXCLUSIVE: Rich The Kid Faces Massive Judgment After Secret Affair & Broken Deal

Rich the Kid’s private life has spilled into the courtroom again, as a Massachusetts woman identified as Jane Doe won a $45,840 judgment against the rapper after a secret relationship led to pregnancy, a hush-money deal, and a broken settlement.

Doe says she met Rich the Kid in January 2023, while he was performing at the nightclub ICON in Boston. After the event, he allegedly invited her to a private hotel gathering, where the encounter turned physical.

Doe claims Rich the Kid assaulted her, grabbed her coat to stop her from leaving, and later followed her home without permission, where they again engaged in sexual activity.

Doe said she became pregnant as a result of those encounters. She alleged the rapper, who was engaged to social media personality and DJ Tori Brixx, begged her to keep the situation secret.

The two ultimately agreed to terminate the pregnancy and signed a confidential settlement agreement in March of 2023, which required Rich the Kid to pay her $15,000 and refrain from discussing the matter publicly.

The agreement also included stiff penalties—$20,000 for missed payments and $20,000 for any public disparagement of Doe. But within days, Doe said he broke both terms.

He made partial payments totaling $9,500, leaving a $5,500 shortfall, and soon after, he appeared in an interview where he addressed the allegations and claimed the woman was demanding “$150,000” in “hush money.”

Doe alleged that the interview violated the settlement’s confidentiality and reputation clauses, leading her to file suit for breach of contract.

She sought $45,500 in damages, combining the unpaid settlement money and penalties tied to his public comments.

Rich the Kid never responded to the lawsuit. On January 25, 2024, he was hit with a default judgment against him for $45,840 plus interest.

Now, Doe is ramping up collection efforts and asking a court to enforce the judgment so she can collect from the rapper’s music royalties and bank accounts held in New York through Sony Music Entertainment and Universal Music Group.

The Judgment remains unpaid, and interest continues to accrue at a rate of 9 percent annually.

Benny The Butcher Disses Freddie Gibbs…Again

Benny The Butcher and Freddie Gibbs are back at it. Westside Gunn dropped a haunting new cut called “FREE ROLEYS” on Halloween and Benny used his verse to throw fresh shots at Freddie Gibbs. The timing made the moment feel cinematic yet uneasy for fans who wanted a truce like me. But we all got a reminder that grudges in Hip-Hop do not die easily.

On the spooky drop from Westside Gunn’s latest project, listeners heard a Benny verse that read like a warning more than a bar. It felt ominous. The words landed with deliberate venom and referenced the rap theater that has fueled this beef for years. Social media has already lit up.

The exchange is not new. The rift between Benny the Butcher and Freddie Gibbs goes back and an altercation in Buffalo left listeners divided. It is the kind of feud that once generated chemistry on records like “Frank Lucas” and “One Way Flight” and now threatens to overshadow the art those men made together.

Benny did not mince words in the “FREE ROLEYS” verse. He said verbatim these lines and they cut clean into the story:

“Please keep me out your stunts before I beat you out your fronts

Even in airports, rappers get checked like customs

Good luck on all that free promotion and thanks for the Rollie”

Freddie has been dissing Benny all year and Benny has fired shot too. Freddie’s camp has apparently replied on social media. We celebrate both the drama and the artistry…so we are a part of all this. However, people want the music and the competition without the violence. And this has already gotten violent.

Hip-Hop turns beef into masterpieces. But this friction feels messy and too public. We need more unity to keep the culture thriving. They are already saying the rap era is dead thanks to no big records on the charts.

Woman Who Helped Track Julio Foolio Convicted Of Manslaughter

Alicia Andrews has been found guilty of manslaughter in the murder of Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio following a dramatic trial that concluded Friday night in Tampa.

The 22-year-old woman was accused of helping orchestrate the deadly ambush that claimed the Hip-Hop artist’s life outside a Holiday Inn in June 2024.

After nearly four hours of deliberation, the jury reached its verdict against Andrews, who prosecutors argued served as a lookout during the fatal shooting.

The case centered on allegations that Andrews assisted her boyfriend, Isaiah Chance, and others in tracking Foolio’s movements on the night he was gunned down.

Andrews testified during the trial, maintaining her innocence throughout the proceedings. Prosecutors painted a different picture, presenting evidence that Andrews played an active role in the coordinated attack.

They questioned her credibility by showing jurors a 2021 text message where Andrews wrote that Foolio “needed to die.”

The trial revealed disturbing details about the premeditated nature of the attack. Andrews testified that she never saw a gun that night and claimed to remain terrified of Chance, who is also charged in the case and awaits his own trial.

Foolio, whose real name was Charles Jones, was killed in what authorities described as an ambush-style shooting in the parking lot of the Tampa Holiday Inn.

The Jacksonville rapper had been celebrating his birthday when the attack occurred.

Andrews was the final witness to testify in her own defense, but her testimony failed to convince jurors of her innocence. She now faces the possibility of life in prison without parole when sentenced.

The conviction marks the first resolution in a case involving five total suspects charged in Foolio’s murder. The remaining defendants, including alleged mastermind Isaiah Chance, are expected to face trial in the coming months.

Foolio’s death sent shockwaves through the Hip-Hop community, particularly in Jacksonville, where he had built a significant following.

The manslaughter conviction, rather than murder, suggests the jury found Andrews guilty of participating in the deadly encounter but may have had doubts about her intent to kill or the degree of her involvement in planning the attack.

Diddy’s Prison Bid At Fort Dix Will Be “Relatively Sweet & Easy” Former Inmate Says

Diddy is settling into what one former inmate describes as a “relatively sweet and easy bid” at Fort Dix federal prison in New Jersey, where the disgraced music mogul began serving his 50-month sentence for prostitution-related charges.

The 55-year-old Bad Boy Records founder was transferred to the low-security facility on Thursday after spending 13 months at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center following his September 2024 arrest. Combs was convicted in July on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and sentenced to just over four years behind bars.

The former Fort Dix inmate, Philly rapper Dos Noun, recently completed a two-year stint at the facility. In a recent Facebook post, he provided some insight into what Diddy can expect during his incarceration.

“Diddy is going to have a relatively sweet and easy bid,” he wrote. “Fort Dix is trash in some ways but anyone who has been up higher or even to other lows will say it’s known as being wide open and everything up for grabs. People will try to price gouge him but he can have a phone, a private chef, his room cleaned, custom clothes, extra commissary, and special food contracts for better ingredients etc.

“He’s from NYC. They’ll keep anybody from pressing him. My guess is his biggest issue is going to be the worship and Fandom. And yes I know what I’m talking about. I just lived there for two.”

The Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix houses approximately 3,800 inmates and has previously held high-profile figures, including Joe Giudice from The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The facility offers drug treatment programs, which Diddy requested access to as part of his rehabilitation.

Diddy’s legal team is appealing both his conviction and sentence, with attorneys asking a federal appeals court to expedite the process. Diddy has also reportedly requested a presidential pardon from Donald Trump, though no decision has been made.

With credit for time served and potential reductions for participating in drug treatment programs, Diddy is projected to be released on May 8, 2028. The Bureau of Prisons confirms he will serve approximately two and a half more years at the New Jersey facility.

The commissary at Fort Dix offers limited luxury items, with rice cakes priced at $5.75, white tuna at $3.75 and Pop Tarts at $2.85. Notably absent from the commissary list is applesauce, which witnesses testified Diddy enjoyed putting on cheeseburgers during his trial.

Offset Sued For Alleged Attack At Cannabis Dispensary As Legal Issues Pile Up

Offset is now grappling with a fresh lawsuit after a security guard at a Los Angeles cannabis dispensary accused the Hip-Hop star of punching him in the face during a March visit to MedMen LAX.

Jim Sanchez, a security employee at the dispensary, filed a civil suit claiming Offset became “hostile, verbally confrontational, and physically attacked Plaintiff by striking him in the face” after being asked to show ID.

The complaint further alleges that members of Offset’s entourage escalated the situation by joining in to “further assault and batter” Sanchez.

Paramedics were called to the scene, and Sanchez said he was treated for severe headaches and neck pain. He is now seeking damages for assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The incident was first reported by TMZ, which cited sources close to Offset who claimed Sanchez initiated the confrontation by rushing at the rapper and spitting on him. Those same sources also alleged the guard used mace on Offset and his crew.

Offset’s team dismissed the accusations at the time, calling them “complete and total BS.”

This lawsuit arrives as the 32-year-old Atlanta native navigates multiple personal and financial setbacks. He is currently embroiled in a high-profile divorce from Cardi B, who filed to dissolve their marriage in July 2024 after seven years.

The split has grown increasingly complex, with Offset requesting joint custody of their children and spousal support. Adding to the turmoil, Offset is also dealing with a $2.3 million tax debt owed to the IRS, which has reportedly delayed finalizing the divorce.

Cardi B addressed the issue during a livestream in September, explaining the financial entanglements were holding up the legal process.

Offset opened up about the end of the marriage during an October appearance on Keke Palmer’s podcast, where he admitted to “stepping out” during their relationship.

As of now, neither Offset nor Sanchez’s legal team has offered public comment on the lawsuit.

‘I would complain about that crew’: Man’s JetBlue flight makes emergency landing in New York City. When he gets a new flight to Orlando, his new seat isn’t what it seems

We all love a window seat. Some people settle for getting lucky and having it randomly assigned, while others pay extra for it. Now, can you imagine paying extra for a window seat and then not getting it? That’s exactly what happened to this JetBlue passenger.

TikTok user Rob (@roborangeo) was on a flight that had to do an emergency landing at JFK Airport. While Rob reserved a window seat on the original flight, unfortunately, when he got on the second, a window seat wasn’t available. Rob explains what happened in a video that has gathered over 1,300 likes and 46,700 views.

“So while I’m at JFK, they booked me this flight and they were like, ‘Hey, do you want window, middle, or aisle?’” he says. “I said, ‘I’ll take window, that’s what I paid for, so I’ll just take that again.’”

Man Rebooks JetBlue Flight After Emergency Landing

The agent at the gate rebooked Rob for a window seat on his rebooked flight. The seat on his ticket was 6F. But when Rob returned later to board, the gate agent told him his seat was moved a row back.

Rob agreed that was fine. However, he did not look at his ticket to confirm it was a window seat. It turns out, his new seat was in the middle. Rob only found this out once he was on the plane and saw someone seated in 7F.

“So I wait for the flight attendant to get to me and I say, ‘Hey, this is my situation, I have a ticket that says this,” Rob says.

The flight attendant told Rob that there was pretty much nothing they could do because the only other window seat is a premium seat that comes with an extra charge. Eventually, Rob does end up getting 7F because the woman sitting in that seat gave it to him and sat in an aisle seat at the front of the plane.

“Are you happy now?” one of the flight attendants allegedly bickered at Rob.

“Am I happy now? I didn’t do a [expletive] thing wrong,” Rob says.

Can You Change Your Seat Assignment on the Plane?

It depend on several factors, including how booked the plane is, your reason for asking, and how you ask.

One flight attendant gives the following advice in a Travel and Leisure article: “Be honest with the flight crew. Tell them exactly what you’d like. This gives us the opportunity to consider all angles of the situation.”

Rob later mentions that him being 6’2” makes sitting in the middle extra challenging. Perhaps if he shared this with the flight crew, the attendant might have been more sympathetic to his concerns.

Flight Attendants in the Comments Weigh In

In the comments of the video, some flight attendants also weighed in. While flight attendants can use their discretion to move passengers around, it seems that they can’t officially change seats on a passenger’s ticket, even if the passenger offers to pay.

“Flight attendants don’t do seat assignments,” wrote one person. “We can try to accommodate people sometimes, but if it’s a full flight like that, it’s really hard. I’m sorry that happened.”

“If that boarding door is open, you request to speak to a gate agent or supervisor. They’re the ones authorized to move customers and can actually investigate what happened, why you weren’t issued the seat you paid for,” said another person.

Others offered their opinions on the behavior of the flight attendant. “Regardless of what the flight attendant can or can’t do, he shouldn’t antagonize you with his comment,” someone wrote.

Drake Blamed After Blue Jays Lose World Series To Dodgers; Internet Props Kendrick Up

Drake can’t seem to catch a break. The so-called “Drake Curse” narrative resurfaced Saturday night after the Los Angeles Dodgers pulled off a stunning comeback victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 7 of the World Series. The Dodgers clinched their second straight championship, while the Blue Jays and Drizzy were left heartbroken once again.

The rapper was in the house – Rogers Centre – cheering on the Jays throughout the game.

The game is the game and then there is social media. The internet wasted no time reviving old jokes, connecting the team’s defeat to Drake’s supposed streak of bad luck whenever he publicly backs a team or athlete.

And then there was the Kendrick Lamar side of things that somehow crept in the mix. Obviously, K-Dot is an LA Native. Kendrick’s supporters joined in, reminding the world of the 6 God’s other major L. Now why would they go and do that? Well, the internet is a petty, petty place!

They Fox did this:

The Dodgers’ repeat title instantly sparked a wave of memes calling it a “Back to Back” win — a not-so-subtle nod to Drake’s 2015 diss track against Meek Mill. Damn, homie!

Still, the timing isn’t great. People are wondering if Drake bet any money on this whole thing. Drake is currently named in two class-action lawsuits alleging that he and others helped promote an illegal online gambling operation targeting young users. He has not commented publicly on those allegations.

We are still waiting for ICEMAN to change the narrative! Drake needs big hits and not rap beef right now. In fact, some would argue that rap needs Drake right now. Let us banish the talk about besides curses, baseball and incessant trolling. But for now, the internet is having way too much fun with Drake. Shout out to LA. You guys go hard

My people said it sounded like a bomb dropped when they won the game, the way they erupted into celebration. I am happy to hear people happy with all the madness going on.

Pras Ordered To Forfeit $64M Amidst Cancer Battle

Pras Michel has been ordered to surrender $64 million in assets by a federal judge as part of his conviction tied to a sprawling international bribery and money-laundering case involving Malaysian financier Jho Low.

The ruling, issued October 30, comes as Michel recovers from emergency colon cancer surgery that delayed his sentencing.

The former Fugees member was found guilty in April 2023 on 10 felony counts, including conspiracy, illegal campaign contributions, and acting as an unregistered foreign agent.

Federal prosecutors stated that the forfeited funds represent proceeds that Michel either received or controlled through shell companies and accounts funded by Low, who remains a fugitive.

Authorities allege Low embezzled billions from Malaysia’s 1MDB sovereign wealth fund and used the money to gain influence in U.S. politics.

Court filings revealed Michel helped funnel tens of millions of dollars into Barack Obama’s 2012 campaign.

He later tried to persuade the Trump administration to drop its probe into Low and extradite Chinese dissident Guo Wengui. Prosecutors said Michel spent some of the money on political donations, luxury travel and celebrity events.

The Justice Department said the forfeiture includes bank accounts and investments tied to the scheme. Under federal law, assets linked to money laundering or illegal lobbying on behalf of foreign nationals can be seized by the government.

Michel’s trial drew national attention due to its celebrity connections. Actor Leonardo DiCaprio testified about Low’s extravagant lifestyle and his ties to Hollywood.

Michel, 51, was portrayed by prosecutors as a conduit for foreign interests trying to manipulate U.S. policy from behind the scenes.

While Michel awaits sentencing, he is also recovering from a health crisis.

In late August 2025, he underwent emergency surgery to remove colon cancer. The diagnosis had not been publicly disclosed before the operation.

His medical condition forced a delay in his sentencing, which was initially scheduled for August 29 but has been pushed back.

Sources close to Michel said he is now focused on his recovery and spending time with his family. Despite the legal and health challenges, Michel remains hopeful. He faces up to 20 years in prison.

Low, the central figure in the 1MDB scandal, is still believed to be hiding in China. The U.S. government continues efforts to recover stolen funds.

In the most recent development, the Malaysian government is attempting to recover over $7 million that was given to super-producer Swizz Beatz, who has denied any wrongdoing.

Michel’s sentencing has not yet been rescheduled.

Ja Morant Suspended By Grizzlies After Criticizing Coaching Staff

Ja Morant caught a one-game suspension from the Memphis Grizzlies after putting his coaches on blast following Friday night’s 117-117 loss to the Lakers at FedExForum.

The dude went off script when asked what went sideways during the game. His exact words? “Go ask the coaching staff. Go ask them. They had a whole spiel in here, so…”

That little mic drop moment earned him a fresh suspension for “conduct detrimental to the team,” according to the Grizzlies brass. Translation — they didn’t appreciate him tossing the coaching staff under the bus, especially in front of reporters.

This isn’t new territory for Ja. The 25-year-old guard has had a streak of headline-making stunts, including a 25-game suspension earlier in the 2023-24 season after flashing what looked like a gun on IG Live — for the second time.

That clip, filmed at a Denver-area club, followed an earlier 8-game ban for the same kind of nonsense back in March 2023.

Between the suspensions and a nagging shoulder, Morant hasn’t been much of a regular on the court.

His no-shows played a significant role in Memphis missing the playoffs last season, despite him being a two-time All-Star and a key piece of their 2022 and 2023 postseason runs.

Friday’s game exposed even more cracks in the team’s chemistry. The Grizzlies are already off to a slow start in the 2024-25 season and this kind of drama isn’t helping.

Word is that tensions have been running high between Morant and the coaching staff since his return from his lengthy suspension.

Coach Taylor Jenkins and the front office have been preaching accountability and a team-first attitude for a long time now. Kinda awkward, considering they gave Morant a five-year $193 million extension in 2022.
Now they’re watching him put the squad’s chemistry at risk, again.

Morant will sit out the next game while the Grizzlies try to get their act together. With the team already struggling to find any rhythm, his absence might make things even worse.

‘An Austin landmark for over 40 years’: Austin man visits beloved local brewery that’s popular with tourists. Then charge him $10 cover

A former resident finds Austin isn’t what it used to be after he visits what he remembers as a beloved local landmark. The details are a bit more complicated.

TikTok user @gloszzoutdoors posted a video about his experience at Oasis Texas Brewing on Oct. 18. Oasis Texas Brewing, he says, has become the latest symbol of “Californication,” with its $10 minimums and $37 drink tabs.

“Used to be a cool place,” the TikToker says. “You could sit here in the evening, you know, have a nice view over there. Fire here. You felt like you were in a real Texas area. Now it’s gotten too California-cated, you know?”

The receipt he shows Oasis initially charges $8.33 per person (not $10), but then it discounts $16.66 from the bill. After the two drinks and the built-in 20% tip, the final total is $37.19. Which honestly doesn’t seem too steep for a night out on the lake in Austin.

The Oasis Vs. Oasis Texas Brewing Company

The TikToker, however, feels scammed. “You go to a restaurant or bar and you come out hoodwinked,” he wrote in the comments. “Lemme add on this fee, lemme add on this tax. A $16 drink comes out to be $21 after all taxes and fees.”

In the comments section, some said his visit alone indicates he’s not a local. Others mistakenly thought he was complaining about the Oasis restaurant next door, which was established in 1982. Oasis Texas Brewing Company, which is nearby, opened in 2014.

“I’ve been here 80 years,” said one man. “It was always a tourist-only spot! Locals don’t visit!”

A second person agreed. “The view is the only positive,” they wrote.

Another commenter pointed out the obvious confusion. “That’s the Oasis Texas Brewing Company, which is located next door to the Oasis restaurant,” he writes. “Two separate businesses and not related. The Oasis restaurant is an Austin landmark for over 40 years.”

Is ‘Californication’ to Blame?

Located on the edge of Lake Travis, both the restaurant and the brewhouse offer spectacular views year-round. However, among locals, the prevailing opinion isn’t favorable.

“The view is the only positive in that whole complex,” wrote one person.

Others said they don’t believe in the “Californication” idea. “I wouldn’t call that Californiacated,” one person said. “They’re doing what every busy business is doing. Wait until next year everything will be expensive.”

“It got more touristy,” argued another commenter. “I don’t think California had anything to do with it. I never go there.”

The Facts About Texas Migration Patterns

The truth of what this TikToker is saying is fuzzier than he thinks. Let’s look at the facts. In one migration report, California sent more people to Texas than any other state, with roughly 102,000 moving there.

California accounted for 35% of the state’s net migration that particular year. Within the Austin city limits, California accounts for about 11% of inbound migrants, per the Austin Chamber of Commerce. This netted roughly 10,000 new residents in recent years.

The much-discussed median home price in Austin jumped from $193,500 in 2010 to $318,000 by 2019, an 84% increase. And of course, Apple, Google, Facebook, Oracle, and Tesla have established themselves in the city to significant effect.

However, despite this “Californication” narrative, the majority of Austin’s new residents (50.3%) actually come from elsewhere in the state. In 2019, 53% of the new Austinites came from within Texas, while California transplants made up just 7%. But it is the perception of this small percentage’s relative strength that carries the narrative heft.

In fact, the California migration story has already faded, with domestic migration falling off a cliff over the last two years and Hispanic and Black residents leaving the city. Austin’s population growth is, in fact, slowing down.

The California transplant scapegoating is convenient, but Austin’s transformation is driven more by broader economic trends. This includes tech industry happenings that extend across the country and internationally.
