GloRilla Refuses To Answer Questions About Beef With JT During Red Carpet Interview

GloRilla recently went to war with JT on the X platform. On Friday (April 5), the two rap stars clashed online over rumors that Glo slapped the City Girls member several months ago at an awards show.

Billboard’s Tetris Kelly spoke to GloRilla on the 2024 CMT Awards red carpet on Sunday (April 7). Kelly asked the “Yeah Glo!” hitmaker about the drama that played out with JT on X.

“Everything is just always everything. At the end of the day that day gonna m############ end,” GloRilla responded, avoiding Tetris Kelly’s question.

The latest round in the feud between GloRilla and JT kicked off after Glo dropped her Ehhhthang Ehhhthang mixtape. On the “Aite” track, she raps, “Me and JT ain’t the best of friends but we ain’t beefing.”

That line led to social media users wondering if JT really got hit by GloRilla at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. JT vehemently denied the slap took place, but Glo insisted a physical altercation did happen.

Before their beef, GloRilla and JT worked together on music. JT appeared on the remix to Glo’s “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” along with Latto. They also linked up for the “Nut Quick” music video.

J. Cole Gets Blasted By Akademiks For Apologizing To Kendrick Lamar

The brewing battle between Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole already fizzled out before either MC took the gloves off. Cole apologized for dissing Lamar on the “7 Minute Drill” track during his Dreamville Festival performance on Sunday (March 7).

DJ Akademiks took issue with J. Cole stepping away from the lyrical fight with Kendrick Lamar. The Rumble streamer repeatedly slammed the North Carolina native on the X social media platform as his mea culpa went viral.

“J. Cole apologized to Kendrick Lamar. WTF going on in rap. N#### violated [you], [you] retaliated and [you] apologized. Kendrick might be right, aint no Big 3. It’s just BIG HIM. WTF,” Akademiks tweeted on Sunday night.

J. Cole’s “7 Minute Drill” served as a response to Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That” single. On that song, Lamar distanced himself from the so-called “Big 3” of rap which also includes Cole and Drake.

“If Drake [apologizes] to Kendrick Lamar, I’m done with rap. Imma cover and only listen to country music,” Akademiks also posted. He later added, “Drake might have to diss J. Cole just for [the] f**k of it. How the hell we in a fight and [you] apologizing to the OPPS? WTF.”

In addition, Ak wrote, “The Big 3 from now on is Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Future. J. Cole [is] eliminated from all Hip-Hop conversations. Apologizing for dissing a n#### who violated [you]… is not Hip-Hop.” The Off The Record podcaster went on to tweet about Cole several more times throughout the night.

JT Claps Back At Fan Claiming Yung Miami Carried City Girls

JT and Yung Miami make up the rap duo known as City Girls. In recent months, the two women have focused more on their individual careers than the group.

That separation between Yung Miami and JT led some fans to believe City Girls had ended. The speculation of a split increased after the Quality Control-signed act’s most recent album, RAW, performed poorly on the charts.

One social media user claimed Miami was more responsible for City Girls’ success. The person tweeted, “Acting like Yung Miami didn’t carry the City Girls and save JT name is CRAZY… Y‘all weird tho.”

In response, JT posted, “B#### KEEP MY NAME OUT YOUR MOUTH! I WROTE MY MUSIC UNTIL THE SUN CAME UP. I WENT TO PRISON FROM THE STUDIO. WE BOTH DID OUR JOBS AS THE CITY GIRLS! WE BOTH CONTRIBUTED! This how s### start, you don’t know s### ,[you’re] WEIRD!”

JT (born Jatavia Johnson) served time in federal prison for aggravated identity theft beginning in 2018. At the time, City Girls was preparing to release their debut studio album, Girl Code.

Yung Miami took on the responsibility of promoting Girl Code. The singles “Twerk” featuring Cardi B and “Act Up” became Top 40 hits during JT’s stint behind bars.

City Girls went on to put out City on Lock in 2020 and RAW in 2023. RAW hosted the JT single “No Bars.” The South Florida representative also embarked on a solo headlining tour this year.

Chrisean Rock Breaks Silence To Announce Blueface New “Jail Vlogs”

Chrisean Rock has kept a very low profile in the last few months, but she’s breaking her silence to let fans know that it’s all down to Blueface.

The controversial reality TV star turned rapper frequently made headlines for the drama surrounding her relationship with Blueface. However, she’s been noticeably absent online since Blue was locked up for violating his probation.

Chrisean Rock claimed she and Blueface reconciled before he went to jail. She soon moved back into his home promptly and debuted another massive tattoo of his likeness, this time on her cheek.

However, fans have noted her absence, and Rock took to Instagram Sunday (April 7), to explain what she’s been up to. She shared a post questioning her whereabouts since Blue began his stint behind bars.

Yung Miami Reacts After Being Served With Lawsuit At Houston Party

Yung Miami was seemingly hit with a lawsuit over her “Act Bad” merchandise after being served with papers at her recent pool party in Houston.

A man named Larry Taylor handed her the lawsuit on behalf of the alleged trademark owner, Charlie Cee accusing Diddy of profiting from the brand. He posted a video of their interaction, which begins with the City Girls’ rapper chatting to her fans.

“Yung Miami, let me give this to you. It’s a gift,” Taylor said, handing her the papers. “It’s from my homeboy Charlie Cee. You been served.”

However, Yung Miami offered a nonchalant response. “Okay,” she added.

“No get behind me!!!!!” she stated. “Cause I’m ready to crash tf out!”

J. Cole Fans Declare “Hip-Hop Is Dead” After Kendrick Lamar Apology

J. Cole stunned fans on Sunday night after walking back his Kendrick Lamar diss with some going so far as to proclaim the death of Hip-Hop.

During his headlining set, he expressed regret for dissing Lamar and vowed to pull the song from his latest project, Might Delete Later

He admitted that firing at K.Dot gave him sleepless nights and even urged Lamar to “take ya best shot I’ma take it on the chin.” He added, “That was the lamest, goofiest s### […] That s### don’t sit right with my spirit.”

Cole also said that his own team didn’t want him to apologize. He acknowledged, “This is not what a lot of people want to hear.”

Well, he was right, as many fans were furious with Cole’s retraction. “Damn Cole” and “Might Delete Later” was trending on X (formerly Twitter), with fans joking that the Dreamville founder fulfilled his promise.

One disgruntled fan referenced 50 Cent’s antics in Hip-Hop beefs, claiming he didn’t do all that “for J Cole to apologize to Kendrick for a mid diss track.”

Others quoted Lamar’s “The Heart Part 4” which includes the lyrics

“My fans can’t wait for me to son ya punk ass and crush your whole lil s###/I’ll Big Pun ya punk ass, you a scared little b####/Tiptoein’ around my name, n####, ya lame/And when I get at you, homie, don’t you just tell me you was just playin’.”

However, a few fans were kinder to Cole, empathizing with his speech.

“My goat can’t even fake the beef. I have to stan forever. I love this man,” one fan wrote.

Meanwhile, others, including battle rapper Nu Jerzey Twork, called out Drizzy to respond. “I Need Drake To Slide ASAP,” he wrote.

Is Drake Gearing Up To Diss Kendrick Lamar?

Drake recently whipped up hysteria with a post on his Instagram Story. He shared a photo of the Larry O’Brien trophy alongside a notebook and pen, prompting fans to speculate he’s ready to respond to Lamar.

Cardi B To Join Megan Thee Stallion’s Twork Challenge But Latto Needs Her Man’s Approval

Megan Thee Stallion set the internet blaze to kick off her “Wanna Be” twerk challenge, and now she’s lined up Cardi B to join her, and maybe Latto too, but only if she gets her man’s approval.

The H-Town Hottie kicked off the competition over the weekend, posting a video showing off her expert skills. She declared herself owner of the best behind on Instagram and challenged anybody to dispute her title.

“IG after dark LOL,” Meg captioned the post. “And nobody better not challenge me because this the best ass on Instagram. Or, if you think so, tag me in your video. Stream ‘Wanna Be.’”

However, Megan Thee Stallion is waiting for her “WAP” collaborator Cardi B to join the shenanigans. Cardi replied to Nunn’s post, confessing, “Lord I gotta get these rusty knees ready.”

“Cardi if you really do this I will scream lol,” Meg replied.

Meanwhile, Megan’s “Wanna Be” collaborator called out Latto for the challenge. However, the “Sunday Service” hitmaker needs her mystery man to give her the seal of approval before she can shake her cheeks for the gram.

“If I call u on 3 way w my man can u tell him it’s ok,” Latto wrote, tagging GloRilla.

50 Cent Suggests Lil Rod’s Diddy Lawsuit Might Be Bogus

50 Cent has relentlessly trolled Diddy since allegations of sexual abuse surfaced but appears to have paused his campaign to question the validity of one of the embattled Hip-Hop mogul’s accusers.

The G-Unit founder took to Instagram Sunday (April 7) to share a news story about Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who filed a bombshell lawsuit accusing Diddy of sexual assault. The piece was headlined “Diddy Investigation Feds Haven’t Talked To Rodney Jones But He’s Ready & Willing.”

“Wait a minute this s### might be some b########,” 50 Cent captioned his post. “How they didn’t talk to him yet.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/C5etIEvNvGE/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Last week, TMZ reported that Lil Rod is yet to speak to the feds investigating the litany of allegations that emerged following Cassie Ventura’s lawsuit. According to sources close to the investigation, while Ventura is cooperating with law enforcement, Jones has not been interviewed.

Lil Rod filed a $30 million lawsuit against Diddy, accusing him of sexual harassment, drugging, intimidation and other severe allegations. He claims the Bad Boy Records founder coerced him into soliciting sex workers and participating in sexual activities with them. He also accused several other celebrities of involvement in these activities.

Lil Rod identified Daphne Joy, the mother of 50 Cent’s son Sire as one of Diddy’s alleged sex workers.

Last month, Lil Rod filed new court documents, accusing Diddy of harassing his child as well as his family. The producer claimed Diddy created fake stories about him and sent agents to intimidate his 8-year-old daughter and others.

AHH Post: Interview: Big Fuzz On Sharing Pain and Purpose Through His Music

In the world of music, stories often transcend melodies and beats, resonating deeply with listeners. For Big Fuzz, hailing from Knoxville, Tennessee, his journey into music wasn’t just about finding his sound—it was about finding himself amidst the chaos of life.

The name “Big Fuzz” wasn’t something he coined for himself. Iit was a nickname given to him by a close friend from Chicago during a pivotal moment in their lives. This moment sparked Big Fuzz’s musical path, one that led him from rhymes to the soundboard as he dived into audio engineering and finding solace in crafting beats.

“What makes me standout is my message itself,” he said. “There’s a message of taking care of you in my music, pain and joy, and how those two things sit together in life. I think it’s something that everyone can relate to.”

Life, however, threw him curveballs. Six years ago, tragedy struck when his nephew fell victim to gun violence, shedding light on the harsh reality of mental health struggles in their community. But from this darkness emerged a resolve to turn pain into purpose through his music.

Big Fuzz’s music isn’t just about catchy hooks; it’s about connection. His lyrics go into the depths of human emotion, addressing love, loss, and the messy intersection of both. He draws inspiration from the likes of Nas, J. Cole, and the late Mac Miller, artists who used their platform to speak truth to power.

One of his recent tracks, “Lunch Dates” took on new life when he collaborated with rising star Brittney Carter. It’s a love song, but not the sappy kind—it’s about the trials and triumphs of love, a journey mirrored in his own life.

Known for his mindful approach to hip hop, Big Fuzz’s collaboration with Brittney Carter comes as no surprise. Both artists share a similar ethos and have a deep soulful connection with their craft, making them the perfect duo for this heartfelt track. “Lunch Dates” explores themes of trial, error, and persistence in love, delivered with poetic lyricism and soulful melodies. Big Fuzz’s introspective verses blend seamlessly with Brittney Carter’s dynamic flow, creating a compelling narrative that resonates with listeners on a profound level.

Looking forward, Big Fuzz dreams of collabs with icons like Benny the Butcher and J. Cole. But amidst the aspirations, he remains grounded, finding parallels between his two passions—music and food—as the owner of Diamondjack Wine Bar.

“ My goal isn’t to be famous or heard, but it’s to support a cause that I believe in.”

His debut album, dropping in August, promises to be a journey through the last decade of his musical evolution. He’s planning to blend hip-hop, alternative, and R&B within the project. It’s a testament to growth while staying true to one’s roots.

For Big Fuzz, music isn’t just a career—it’s a calling. Through his art, he hopes to heal, connect, and advocate. In a world full of noise, his voice stands out as a beacon of resilience, reminding us all of the power of music to transcend pain and uplift the spirit.

J. Cole Apologizes For Dissing Kendrick Lamar: “That Was The Lamest, Goofiest S###”

J. Cole performed at the Dreamville Festival on Sunday night (April 7) in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he changed his tone regarding Kendrick Lamar. During his headlining set, the Dreamville boss and festival curator essentially apologized for dissing the Pulitzer-winning MC on his latest project, Might Delete Later. As a result, he informed the crowd he and his longtime friend/manager, Ibrahim Hamad, were removing “7 Minute Drill” from streaming platforms.

“How many of y’all think Kendrick Lamar is one of the greatest ever to pick up a mic?” he asked in a clip making the rounds online. “I haven’t been sleeping right the last few days… Ib, we taking that diss off streaming services.”

He continued, “I pray my n#### didn’t feel no way but if he did I got my chin out take ya best shot I’ma take it on the chin, I ain’t gonna lie to yall past 2 days been terrible it let me know how I’ve been sleeping for the past 10 years. That was the lamest, goofiest s### […] That s### don’t sit right with my spirit”

The verbal spar began last month when Kendrick Lamar dissed J. Cole and Drake on the recent Future and Metro Boomin’ track “Like That.” He raps in part, “‘First Person Shooter,’ I hope they came with three switches […] Motherf### the big three, n####, it’s just big me.”

J. Cole returned fire by commending Lamar for his work on 2011’s Section.80 and 2015’s To Pimp a Butterfly, trashing his latest effort, 2022’s Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, and suggesting good kid, m.A.A.d city didn’t deserve the accolades it received upon its release.

“Your first sh## was classic, your last sh## was tragic,” he spits. “Your 2nd s### put n###s to sleep but they gassed it/Your 3rd s### was massive hit that was your prime/I was trailing right behind, but I just now hit mine.”

Lamar’s verse on “Like That” helped push the song to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, Apple Music, Spotify US and Spotify Global. It was taken from Future and Metro Boomin’s latest collaborative effort, We Don’t Trust You, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with the highest first-week sales of 2024.

Of course, J. Cole’s impassioned (and seemingly genuine) repentance didn’t sit well with dedicated Hip-Hop fans. As one person put it: “J Cole apologizing for making a diss record, what happened to Hip-Hop.”

Nicki Minaj Faces Boos At J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival Due To Lateness

The Dreamville Festival was crazy with energy, or so I’ve been told! Perhaps you caught wind of 50 Cent’s incendiary comments aimed at Diddy and his “little sex worker.” Well, the drama didn’t stop there at Cole World’s grand event. Though, let’s be clear, the drama wasn’t exactly overflowing.

However, there was a dash of it. Nicki Minaj, one of the festival’s headline acts, found herself in the midst of it. While she remained a headliner, there was a hiccup. It seems the reigning rap queen was fashionably late, arriving over an hour after her scheduled appearance at Dreamville. Understandably, this didn’t sit well with the fans, who expressed their disappointment with boos directed at the Queen herself. Can you imagine?

The boos didn’t linger for long. Almost as soon as they began, Nicki took to the stage, swiftly transitioning from jeers to cheers. And reign she did, once she finally took her place under the festival lights.

Nikki Sixx Slams Reports Mötley Crüe’s New Album Is A Blend of Country & Hip-Hop

Mötley Crüe is an iconic band well-known for its hard rock anthems, but group member Nikki Sixx had the group’s fans screaming “Louder Than Hell” over his recent revelation—and now, he’s been forced to clarify his comments.

Last week, Nikki Sixx sent out a tweet claiming Mötley Crüe was venturing into a new musical territory that amalgamates country and Hip-Hop.

The band’s bassist indicated that their upcoming new music “has been described as a powerful cross between country and Hip-Hop,” which would have diverged significantly from their traditional hard rock and glam metal roots.

The unexpected direction has left the Mötley Crüe fandom divided, with some expressing enthusiasm for the experimentation, while others remained skeptical about the departure from the band’s established sound.

Over the weekend, Nikki Sixx responded to the backlash—and blamed the media for taking his original tweet seriously, even though he never provided much context to his post.

“Media running with a joke about new Motley Crue music just shows how they can be unprofessional and irresponsible,” Nikki Sixx wrote. “But they probably just saw an opportunity for clickbait to sell ads. This stuff always makes me laugh….Anyway. Our new music is actually kinda reggae EDM. But with a bit of Dylan.”

The development comes after notable comments from band members Tommy Lee and John 5, who’ve teased the production of “insane tracks” and “incredible” guitar work, respectively, in the lead-up to the band’s next album release.

After 43 years in existence, the group seems to be following the same old formula. Their last album, Saints of Los Angeles, was released on June 24, 2008.

EXCLUSIVE: Birdman Supports B.G. In Bid For Self-Employment Status With Judge

Rapper B.G. is asking a judge to legitimize his career as an artist fter his shocking arrest for a performance with Boosie Badazz.

B.G. seeks the court’s approval for his self-employment as a recording artist following his arrest in March for violating the terms of his supervised release. The former Cash Money Records signee, who served a significant prison sentence for being a felon in possession of a firearm and obstruction of justice, is now making strides to reintegrate into society through his music career.

B.G.’s arrest was chiefly due to performing with Boosie Badazz without obtaining prior court approval and associating with a convicted felon, which breached the conditions of his supervised release.

In a detailed letter to the judge, B.G.’s legal team outlined his current efforts and plans within the music industry, emphasizing the influential collaborations and upcoming projects that mark his return.

Highly respected figures, including Grammy Award-winning artists like Gucci Mane and producers like Mike WiLL Made-It, have shown interest in working with B.G., who has two full albums in the pipeline for release in the next six to nine months.

B.G.’s lawyer, William P. Gibbens, elaborated on the considerable efforts his client has made since his release, volunteering with charitable organizations.

“[B.G.] has served the time for the crimes he committed….as a renowned recording artist, [B.G.] has unique business opportunities that will allow him to contribute to the entertainment industry, and he has surrounded himself with business professionals who will help him achieve those opportunities,” Gibbens stated.

Letter From Bryan Birdman Williams Supporting B.G.

Adding support, Cash Money Records co-founder Birdman highlighted the positive impact B.G. can make.

“Through their music and personal narratives, they have the ability to foster understanding, empathy, and unity among people from diverse backgrounds,” Birdman explained. “B.G.’s unique voice and perspective are invaluable assets in promoting messages of hope, resilience, and personal growth. By embracing his music and his expression, we are fostering a culture of creativity, empowerment, and positive change.”

B.G.’s request to the court could redefine his path and influence through rap, navigating through legal and professional challenges that reflect larger systemic issues of rehabilitation and reintegration for formerly incarcerated individuals.

EXCLUSIVE: 6ix9ine’s Kidnapper Loses Final Attempt At Freedom

The guy accused of kidnapping rapper 6ix9ine has lost another attempt at getting out of his 24-year prison sentence.

The recent ruling dismissed Anthony Ellison’s claims that his legal representation failed to adequately defend him during a trial that featured 6ix9ine testing against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

Ellison, identified as a key figure within the gang, faced accusations not only of kidnapping Hip-Hop artist Tekashi 6ix9ine but of engaging in racketeering, a violent crime in aid of racketeering, and maiming and assault with a dangerous weapon.

In his argument for a retrial or sentence reduction, Ellison insisted that the evidence presented against him was insufficient and that his actions, particularly in relation to the kidnapping of Tekashi 6ix9ine, were provoked by the rapper’s previous behaviors.

He suggested that his counsel did not effectively challenge the evidence or argue for a lesser sentence considering these provocations.

Ellison’s rationale for seeking a reduced sentence based on alleged provocation by Tekashi 6ix9ine was especially criticized.

The court found no evidence to support the idea that such provocations could justify the crimes committed or warrant a lesser sentence than the 24 years handed down.

The court’s decision clearly portrayed Ellison’s culpability, pointing to “overwhelmingly supported” evidence of his criminal activities and leadership role within the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

The ruling affirms the severity of Ellison’s offenses and his position within a criminal organization that inflicted violence and fear.

EXCLUSIVE: “BMF” Star Lil Meech Explains Why He Opted Out Of Rap Career

Navigating the allure and pitfalls of his father’s legacy, Lil Meech has surprisingly charted a course not through the world of rap. Despite the pulse of rap in his bloodline and the monumental influence of BMF Entertainment within the industry, Lil Meech chose a different spotlight.

The history of BMF Entertainment reads like a gripping tale of ambition, sophistication, and downfall. Initially conceived by Big Meech in the early 2000s, the label was both a formidable presence in the Hip-Hop world and a cover for extensive criminal operations.

While only officially signing one artist, the label rubbed shoulders with the likes of Jeezy and x, solidifying the BMF brand as an illustrious yet controversial fixture in the music scene.

However, with the Flenory brothers’ arrest in 2005, the empire and its record label crumbled, leaving behind a legacy that would be immortalized in the “BMF” TV series crafted by 50 Cent—a story in which Lil Meech would play a pivotal role.

Despite his lineage, Lil Meech discovered that music was not his destined path during a revelatory stint in the studio.

“I was there for like eight hours trying to figure out what to say and I realized this ain’t for me,” Lil Meech disclosed. “I love music, I have an ear for it, but being in front of the mic, that’s not where I shine.”

The epiphany pivoted him toward acting, a field where his passion and talent have unequivocally flourished. On the screen, he embodies the complex character of his own father, Big Meech in the critically acclaimed STARZ series BMF.

While one might assume a transition from the son of a rap and criminal empire figurehead to a leading man in the rap game would be seamless, Lil Meech has candidly revealed why the microphone didn’t become his weapon of choice.

In an exchange with AllHipHop, Lil Meech shared the groundwork of his burgeoning acting career, coupled with the wisdom he has gleaned both on and off the set.

“It’s all about hard work, dedication, and really soaking in everything around you,” Meech reflected on his career choice. “You’ve got to have tough skin in both industries, but for me, acting became the clearer path.”

BMF has since become a monumental success for STARZ, championed by the authentic performances of its cast, including Lil Meech, and riveting narratives drawn from real life.

The series’ third season, embellished with cameos from rap figures such as Lil Baby and Saweetie, shattered viewership records, amassing more than 5.1 million viewers across platforms and securing a prompt renewal for a fourth season.

As production gears up to continue the saga of the Flenory family in Atlanta, the series stands as a testament to the enduring intrigue of the BMF story and Lil Meech’s unparalleled portrayal of his father.

Ice Spice Album Ready Now That It’s Passed “The Car Test”

Ice Spice has revealed a tried-and-true method of quality assurance for her highly anticipated debut album, Y2K. During a guest appearance on the YouTube show “Hot Ones,” the artist shared that she has been personally testing her new music by playing it at full volume in her car.

Like many before her, the “car test” is a critical final check for many artists, including Ice Spice, who is ensuring her tracks resonate as intended outside the studio environment.

“Yes, I’ve been playing the album fully through in the car, volume all the way up,” Ice Spice confirmed during the interview, expressing relief and satisfaction that her album had indeed “passed” the test.

Ice Spice dove into her creative process, which typically begins with crafting the hook of a song before working on the verses.

However, Ice Spice highlighted that Y2K will include a track where she deviates from this method, starting directly with the verse.

“There is a track on the album, I just launched straight into the verse and there’s not really a hook so I’m excited to hear what the fans think about that,” she said.

Ice Spice also shared insights into her meticulous approach to songwriting and recording for the album, indicating her commitment to quality.

“Each song that I work on I really try to make it good enough to put out basically,” she stated. “I don’t really skim through it real quick, I really take my time and I’m just like OK. Every time I work on a song basically, I’m like, ‘This is gonna be released.'”

Recording for Y2K wrapped up in early March, without Ice Spice revealing the release date or tracklist.

EXCLUSIVE: Jam Master Jay Saga Continues – Ronald Washington Appeals Murder Conviction

The ongoing saga of the murder of Hip-Hop icon Jam Master Jay continues to play out as Ronald “Tinard” Washington, one of the convicted individuals, is seeking a reversal of his conviction or a retrial.

The defense team has filed a motion arguing that the government failed to provide sufficient evidence to link Washington to a drug conspiracy at the time of the murder, challenging the integrity of the verdict that found him guilty alongside Karl Jordan Jr.

According to the motion, there was no substantial evidence proving Washington’s involvement in a drug conspiracy or his association with the crime at the time the legendary Run-DMC group member, whose real name was Jason Mizell, was killed.

The defense detailed the lack of evidence regarding any ongoing drug conspiracy or Washington’s participation in it during the time of Jam Master Jay’s murder.

Furthermore, the motion highlighted that witnesses testified against the idea of Jam Master Jay’s involvement in drug dealings, adding complexity to the government’s narrative.

This legal challenge comes after both Washington and Jordan were found guilty of murder while engaged in narcotics trafficking and firearm-related murder.

Prosecutors had painted a narrative that Jam Master Jay was murdered due to a dispute over a lucrative cocaine distribution deal, asserting that Washington and Jordan took lethal action after being ousted from the deal.

The trial revealed chilling details of the murder, including testimonies that Jordan had expressed a willingness to kill JMJ again if he had the chance.

Despite the weight of these accusations, the defense is now questioning the credibility of the evidence of a drug conspiracy and the proper application of legal standards by the jury.

As this legal battle unfolds, there is also an update on Jay Bryant, the third individual charged in connection with Mizell’s murder.

Prosecutors and Bryant’s attorney César de Castro, are reportedly discussing a plea deal, which could potentially result in a different legal outcome for Bryant.

Prosecutors say Bryant “was involved, but he’s not the killer.”

He was charged in 2023 for his alleged role in facilitating the murder by helping Jordan and Washington gain access to the studio through a fire escape.

B.G. Fights For Freedom Following Arrest For Parole Breach Over Performance With Boosie

B.G. has found himself making a plea to a federal judge for leniency following a series of parole violations.

These include performing onstage without prior approval and associating with convicted felons, such as Boosie BadAzz and Gucci Mane.

After serving 12 years of a 14-year sentence for gun possession and witness tampering, B.G., legally named Christopher Dorsey, was released from federal prison only to face the repercussions of new allegations for violating the conditions of his supervised release.

At the heart of the issue is B.G.’s involvement in a Las Vegas concert in February 2024 alongside Boosie BadAzz and subsequent recording activities with Gucci Mane for their project “Choppers & Bricks.”

The terms of B.G.’s probation prohibit him from engaging in self-employment, such as concert performances or associating with other felons without explicit approval, stipulations B.G. is accused of disregarding.

Following his arrest B.G.’s legal team argued for his continued freedom under supervised release.

A new memorandum to a judge outlined a series of defenses and clarifications, emphasizing communication breakdowns that led to the alleged violations.

B.G. asserted that he had secured permission from the leadership of his halfway house and the United States Probation Office before his performance with Boosie.

Additionally, his collaboration with Gucci Mane reportedly received the green light during his stint in a Bureau of Prisons jurisdiction and was approved before his transition to supervised release.

At the core of his plea is B.G.’s portrayal as a changed man, committed both to his rehabilitation and to making a positive impact within his community.

By highlighting his employment with the Emerald Dream Foundation and active involvement in mentorship and empowerment programs, he illustrated a determination to use his influence for good.

To bolster his case, several letters from pillars in both the professional and community spheres were submitted, underlining his role as a valuable mentor and advocate for positive change, especially among at-risk youth and previously incarcerated individuals.

The collective narrative presented in the memorandum paints a picture of a person who, despite recent setbacks, is earnestly striving for redemption and a productive reintegration into society.

Jade Ramey Denies Being A Sex Worker For Diddy, Says They “Dated”

Instagram model and influencer Jade Ramey has broken her silence over claims she has a paid sex worker for Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Ramey was one of dozens of celebrities and executives ensnared in a lawsuit filed by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones.

Jones and his controversial lawyer Tyrone Blackburn implicated Diddy in several grave accusations, including sexual assault, sex trafficking, and maintaining a network of women, including Ramey, who was supposedly put on a monthly stipend as a.”sex worker” along with rapper Yung Miami and 50 Cent’s baby’s mom, Daphne Joy.

Ramey, who has millions of Instagram followers, addressed the controversy surrounding allegations made against her in a statement issued to Entertainment Tonight.

Ramey emphasized the personal nature of her relationships, underlining that dating does not equate to the lurid allegations thrown her way.

“Yes, I dated someone. Dating someone doesn’t directly correlate to any of the false allegations made,” Ramey expressed, highlighting the need for societal reflection on how individuals’ personal lives are treated as public amusement.

“How unfortunate we’ve entered a time where caring for someone or falling in love is worthy of scrutiny in the court of public opinion,” she continued.

Ramey remained appreciative of the support she has received, saying, “I appreciate everyone’s kind messages and support during this time. Thank you.”

Daphne Joy, another model mentioned alongside Ramey in the lawsuit and the ex-girlfriend of rapper 50 Cent, has also denied being a sex worker for Diddy, calling the claims “100% false and character assassination.”

Simultaneously, Daphne Joy has levied her own serious allegations against her ex-boyfriend, 50 Cent, accusing him of rape and physical abuse during their relationship.

50 Cent denied the claim and revealed he was attempting to gain sole custody of his son Sire, whom he shares with Daphne Joy.

J. Cole’s “Might Delete Later” Poised For No. 1 Debut—Thanks In Part To Kendrick Lamar Diss

J. Cole dropped a surprise project on Thursday night (April 4) that quickly became the talk of social media thanks to a not-so-subtle diss aimed at Kendrick Lamar. But the buzz helped propel the album to the top. According to HITS Daily Double, the 12-track set is expected to debut at No. 1 on next week’s Billboard 200 chart, with roughly 140,000-160,000 total album equivalent units moved in its first week.

The album’s final single, “7 Minute Drill,” finds the Dreamville Records boss firing back at Kendrick Lamar, who dissed J. Cole and Drake on the recent Future and Metro Boomin’ track “Like That.” As part of his verse, J. Cole commends Lamar on his debut album, 2011’s Section.80, and 2015’s To Pimp a Butterfly but trashes his latest effort, 2022’s Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers.

He also suggests good kid, m.A.A.d city didn’t deserves the accolades it received upon its release. He raps, “Your first sh## was classic/Your last sh## was tragic/Your 2nd s### put n###s to sleep but they gassed it/Your 3rd s### was massive hit that was your prime/I was trailing right behind, but I just now hit mine.”

J. Cole’s previous project, The Off-Season, arrived in 2021. Executive produced by Cole, Ibrahim Hamad and T-Minus, the project featured guest vocals from Morray, 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Bas and 6LACK. It sold more than 282,000 units in its opening week, leading to another No. 1 debut. His previous effort, 2018’s KOD, was also another No. 1 debut, with more than 497,000 units sold upon opening.
