Marlon Wayans Talks Spicy To Critics Of His Alabama River Boat Brawl Post: “Y’all Trippin'”

Marlon Wayans wants y’all to know you got him f###ed up if you think it was anything other than him being down with the brown. Wayans is facing backlash following his viral Instagram Story post where he appeared to address the Alabama riverboat brawl as “silly” while referencing Jason Aldean’s conservative summer smash “Small Town.”

Muthaf###as must’ve really gotten under Wayans’ skin if the brotha is not only speaking out but saying it with his whole chest like this, considering Marlon swiftly shared a minute-long video addressing the near-instantaneous disapproval of his comments.

“I woke up to a bunch of stupid-ass Google alerts from a bunch of stupid-ass sites misinterpreting my entire post,” Wayans said, gazing into the camera with his face screwed up. He continued, “Why the f### would I criticize Black people for defending themselves… I’m Black, the f###? Nobody knows irony anymore, HUH? Guess that just went out the window; that’s the irony of the song.”

Wayans didn’t stop cooking there, though. He continued to fish fry his haters while highlighting how toxic the hive mindset of social media can also be all at once. “Stupid a####,” he said before concluding, “That’s the thing about social media man, it’s not for interpretation. Y’all tripping, it makes no f###ing sense, none at all. I shouldn’t even address it, it’s that stupid. But you know, people want to make articles… interpretations. Do it. I don’t care. Black people know I love Black people, I’m Black.”

Marlon Wayans simply captioned the post “Period” and might I add, point blank! Maybe his initial comments were muddy, but we should all be mature enough by now to know that Black babies get thrown out with the bath water on a daily—hence we gotta provide each other with some grace within the community.

At the end of the day, I can easily see why Wayans was frustrated to begin with. Being Black isn’t a Monolithic experience, and even though I’m with the whole “United Front” ideology, I’m not with tearing down individuals for their free thought.

Not to mention, we talking about one of the most iconic Black comedy professionals of multiple generations—like show brother Wayans some respect. This man gave us the classic Black family sitcom The Wayan’s Brothers and cultural spoof classic films such as Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Juice In The Hood. I gotta admit, I’m not with social media at all on this one—y’all can have several seats like my boy Marlon said!

Lizzo Lawsuit Gets Worse As More People Seek To Join Case Against Her

At least six more people may join the highly publicized lawsuit against Lizzo. Ron Zambrano, the lawyer representing three dancers who sued the singer, said his law firm is vetting additional allegations brought to him after his clients filed their lawsuit.

Arianna Davis, Noelle Rodriguez and Crystal Williams sued Lizzo, the singer’s production company and dance captain Shirlene Quigley for alleged mistreatment. The dancers claimed they dealt with a hostile work environment filled with abuse, racial discrimination, sexual harassment, weight shaming and more during their time working for Lizzo.

The lawsuit inspired more individuals to come forward with complaints against Lizzo. According to Entertainment Tonight, the latest batch of allegations come from people who toured with her and worked on the reality series Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.

“We have received at least six inquiries from other people with similar stories since we filed the complaint,” Zambrano told ET. “Noelle, Crystal and Arianna have bravely spoken out and shared their experiences, opening the door for others to feel empowered to do the same. Some of the claims we are reviewing involve allegations of a sexually charged environment and failure to pay employees and may be actionable, but it is too soon to say.”

Last week, Lizzo denied any wrongdoing in response to the original lawsuit.

“Usually I choose not to respond to false allegations, but these are as unbelievable as they sound and too outrageous to not be addressed,” she said in a statement. “These sensationalized stories are coming from former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told their behavior on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional.”

The three dancers who sued Lizzo affirmed their allegations in a new interview with PEOPLE. One of the alleged victims said the singer is “not the same person everybody sees on their TV screen” when the cameras stop rolling.

YK Osiris Accused Of Gipping Jeweler Out Of $20K For Audemars Piquet Watch

A celebrity jeweler is saying one of Hip-Hop’s brightest stars is a thief.

Seth Grossman, a jeweler who has worked with tons of stars and founder of Essential Watches, says that YK Osiris agreed to purchase an Audemars Piquet watch but never paid for the $20,000 expensive timepiece, according to TMZ Hip Hop.

Sean Kingston introduced the two in 2020, which gave the “Money Keep Coming” rapper a certain level of esteem.

At that time, YK Osiris persuaded Grossman to sell the piece and he allowed him to sport it.

To add insult to injury, the recording artist exchanged information regarding his accountant so that he can do a wire transfer for the price of the watch. However, Grossman said that never panned out, despite YK Osiris initially corresponding with him and telling him the money was coming.

However, after a while, Grossman said the rapper started to change his number and basically dodge conversations about paying for the flossy accessory.

In fact, one time, he told the jeweler that he no longer had the watch and that he gave it to Kingston, asking him to return it.

Another time, the rapper said his dad stole the AD after he didn’t pay him. The father said the watch would be payment for unpaid management services.

Whatever the excuse is, YK Osiris might be looking at a lawsuit. Grossman is looking to sue him even though he would rather pour his energy into his business, 90210 Watches.

Wallo267 Gets Gillie The Kid New Bike Following Son’s Recent Murder

It seems that Gillie The Kid is beaming from the love around him following the recent murder of his son. While love cannot be measured by wealth, there’s something to be said about the thought behind a gift.

On Wednesday (August 9), the former Major Figgas’ rapper posted a clip of his cousin Wallo267 presenting him with a new toy, just to bring a smile on his cousin’s face.

It starts off with Wallo giving Gillie the paperwork for the bike. Gillie’s face looks as if he is saying, “You got to be kidding me.”

But instead, he says, sporting a top with his son Mac on it, “Yo, he bought this for me?”

Wallo repeated, “Cashed out.” He captioned the Instagram post, “Love u cuz @wallo267 I’m officially Bike Life @meekmill inducted me in. Watch Gillie n Wallo Adventures 2Nite 730.”

The bereaved father wrote on social media in response to Mac’s death, “Miss u like $hit Dev My heart will forever have a Black hole in it but u know ur father gotta be strong to hold the family up.”

“Thanks 4 all the support from family, friends, and all of my followers y’all really helping me get thru these ruff times Me and my family appreciate and love y’all,” he continued. “Rest Well dev and watch over us u know I got chase. love u Cheese.”

Lil Tay Death Reports Turn Out To Be Hoax

UPDATE: Lil Tay is alive. She spoke out and blamed hackers for reports of her death.

“I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I’m completely heartbroken, and struggling to even find the right words to say. It’s been a very traumatizing 24 hours,” she told TMZ. “All day yesterday, I was bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful phone calls from loved ones all while trying to sort out this mess.”

Lil Tay’s Instagram account announced her death on Wednesday (August 9). Several outlets also obtained alleged statements from her camp, which also revealed the supposed death of her brother.

The statement read, “It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire’s sudden and tragic passing. We have no words to express the unbearable loss and indescribable pain.

“This outcome was entirely unexpected, and has left us all in shock. Her brother’s passing adds an even more unimaginable depth to our grief. During this time of immense sorrow, we kindly ask for privacy as we grieve this overwhelming loss, as the circumstances surrounding Claire and her brother’s passing are still under investigation. Claire will forever remain in our hearts, her absence leaving an irreplaceable void that will be felt by all who knew and loved her.”

Of course, the condolences are pouring in from her 3.3 million Instagram followers, including jeweler Ben Baller who wrote, “Damn this is so sad. RIP to her brother Jason too.”

Lil Tay was only 9 years old when she caught the internet’s attention as a social media influencer.  The self-proclaimed “youngest flexer of the century” was known for her Instagram videos depicting an extravagant rapper lifestyle. In one video, she claimed she bought a $200,000 sports car despite being unable to drive. She was also associated with Chief Keef and the late XXXTENTACION, who she referred to as a “father figure.”

But following a 2018 post in which she used the “N-word,” sh essentially disappeared from social media altogether. She closed the year by starring in a three-episode docuseries about her rise to fame titled “Life With Lil Tay”—and hasn’t been online since.

Cardi B Wants The Court To Force Tasha K To Pay $4 Million Debt

Hip Hop superstar Cardi B still wants controversial internet personality Tasha K to pay the full $3.82 million owed to her from a defamation lawsuit victory.

According to RadarOnline, Cardi B went back to court in order to get an official ruling that would force Tasha K to pay her debt despite filing for Chapter 11. The new suit is reportedly part of the YouTuber’s pending bankruptcy case.

Cardi B (born Belcalis Almánzar) originally sued Tasha K (born Latasha Kebe) for allegedly defaming her on YouTube and social media. A Georgia jury found Kebe liable for defamation in January 2022.

The jury awarded Cardi $1 million in general damages, $25,000 in medical expenses, $1.5 million in punitive damages, and $1.3 million for legal fees. While still antagonizing the “WAP” rapper online, Tasha K filed for bankruptcy in 2023.

In their latest court filing, Cardi B’s legal team argued, “Defendant [Tasha K] was given multiple opportunities to retract the false and defamatory statements and videos, but Defendant steadfastly refused to do so.”

The Grammy winner’s attorneys want the court to prevent Tasha K from avoiding having to pay Cardi the nearly $4 million defamation decision. Previously, Cardi reportedly sought legal access to Tasha’s financial statements, including income from YouTube revenue.

As Cardi B continues her legal fight with the gossip blogger, her husband recently ended his own legal battle with his former record label. Offset filed to dismiss his lawsuit against Quality Control Music over ownership rights to his solo music.

Akademiks Accused Of Leaking Court Documents To Tory Lanez

Could Akademiks be in legal trouble? The polarizing podcaster is now deeply entwined in Tory Lanez’s assault case.

On Tuesday (August 8), a California judge sentenced Lanez (born Daystar Peterson) to 10 years in state prison for the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. A jury convicted Lanez of assault with a semiautomatic handgun, having a loaded and unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and gross negligence in discharging his firearm.

Throughout the course of Lanez’s legal situation over the last three years, Akademiks became an outspoken supporter of the Canadian rapper/singer. Ak still expressed doubt about the guilty verdict as recently as last month.

In February 2022, Akademiks took part in trying to shape the public perception of Lanez’s possible innocence. Ak tweeted, “It was revealed in court [a] few moments ago that Tory Lanez DNA WAS NOT found on the weapon in the Meg Thee Stallion case.”

That statement quickly became a problem once it became clear the DNA test results were inconclusive, not definitive. Akademiks deleted the tweet, but he later blamed Megan Thee Stallion’s management company for receiving the wrong information.

Akademiks & Tory Lanez’s Father Pushed An Anti-Roc Nation Conspiracy Theory

“I got it from Roc Nation,” Akademiks tweeted in response to reports Lanez’s then-lawyer denied leaking the info to the YouTube personality. However, the current attorney representing Lanez reportedly admitted that his client was Ak’s source.

Meghann Cuniff, a reporter who’s been covering the case, stated, “The judge found that Lanez leaked it to Akademiks. Lanez’s own lawyer said that. They described that’s how it happened in the documents.”

The fact Akademiks publicly named Roc Nation representatives as the leakers could possibly put the media personality in legal trouble. Some observers question if the Jay-Z-owned company or Megan Thee Stallion have a defamation case against Ak.

Tory Lanez’s family members also pushed a conspiracy theory that Roc Nation somehow orchestrated Lanez’s conviction. Sonstar Peterson, Lanez’s father, infamously declared, “I got some names I wanna call out… [Attorney] Alex Spiro, [Roc Nation CEO] Desiree Perez, and the whole wicked system of Roc Nation, including you, Jay-Z.”

Feds Have Docs Proving Trump Lawyer Lied About Voter Fraud To Steal 2020 Election

The government has proof some of former president Donald Trump’s lawyers pitched to him a plan to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

According to Special Counsel Jack Smith, there were many of Trump’s private lawyers who acted as co-conspirators in the plot to keep him in the White House—namely Kenneth Chesebro.

His objective, based on documents from the Justice Department obtained by AllHipHop, was to overturn the legitimate results of now-President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ historic win.

Smith says Chesebro, identified as “Co-Conspirator 5,” has a great deal of evidence against him, including a secret memo where he actually pitched the idea of the Democrats using fake electors to soup up the voter fraud theory and “buy the Trump campaign more time to win litigation that would deprive Biden of electoral votes and/or add to Trump’s column.”

The memo from Chesebro to Judge James R. Troupis was written on November 18, 2020, days after the election.

“You asked for a written summary of the legal analysis underlying my suggestion during our conference call that, in any judicial review of the canvassing/recounting in Wisconsin, we should emphasize that the presidential election timetable affords ample time for judicial proceedings, even if initial errors in the recount require a remand for further recounting,” Chesebro wrote. “I recognize that what I suggest is a bold, controversial strategy, and that there are many reasons why it might not end up being executed on Jan. 6. But as long as it is one possible option, to preserve it as a possibility it is important that the Trump-Pence electors cast their electoral votes on Dec. 14.”

The prosecutors said the memo was an example of how there was someone in Trump’s team who really did come up with “a fake controversy that would derail the proper certification of Biden as president-elect.”

Pop Smoke’s Murder Conspiracy Put Family Of Late L.A. Rapper Found In Malibu In Danger

According to the father of the deceased Los Angeles-bred rapper who was discovered in a barrel on a Malibu beach and now apparently the police, the victim had nothing to do with Pop Smoke’s murder.

Just a few weeks ago, the discovery of Javonnta Murphy went viral after his remains washed ashore. Murphy was reportedly naked and had a gunshot wound in his head. Murphy has since been identified as the brother of Jaquan Murphy—one of the original suspects in Pop Smoke’s murder case who has been cleared of his involvement. Shortly after news of Murphy’s remains broke, several news outlets reported the murder was allegedly the result of retaliation for Jaquan’s unconfirmed involvement in Pop Smoke’s murder. And apparently, the conspiracy came down from the LAPD, who assured members of the community the connection between the two cases was strong.

Turns out it may have all been a dangerous reach, and Javonnta’s father—Javonnie Murphy—is speaking out. not only claims his son had nothing to do with Pop Smoke’s murder, but he also claims that social media and the news cycle circulating the conspiracy theory are putting his family’s lives at stake.

“My family is in jeopardy right now I think by people saying all this,” Javonnie said. “My son had nothing to do with no Pop Smoke so I don’t know where all this is coming from. I really don’t.”

L.A. County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives have also backed up Javonnie’s claims and released a statement denying Murphy’s murder and Pop Smoke’s murders are connected.

While there’s still so much unknown about the case, it’s definitely unfortunate this family is suffering from both the weight of losing a loved one, and the accusatory finger-waving abuse dolled out by overzealous Pop Smoke fans.

The LOX Apparently Handed Jim Jones COVID-19 Along With Dipset’s Verzuz L

Jim Jones ran a check-up amid the COVID-19 pandemic unscathed—so it’s ironic the only time he caught the virus was seemingly a result of Dipset’s Verzuz battle loss to The LOX.

In a promotional clip for Capo’s upcoming appearance on Drink Champs, Jones described his relentless work ethic during the pandemic, while N.O.R.E. teased how he caught COVID-19 at least 19 times. Midway through remarking how unhampered his workflow was, Jones did come clean about the one time he did contract the virus.

“I caught COVID after the Verzuz, that was the only time I caught COVID,” Jones said before N.O.R.E. interjected, “The LOX gave you COVID?” Jones responded, seemingly conceding Jadakiss, Styles P and Sheek Louch packed the coronavirus punch on that fateful evening.

“On top of everything that night they gave me COVID—I couldn’t win for s###,” Jones said. Not to take away from Jones’ crazy COVID-19 feature run, because Capo definitely set the bar, but it is kind of crazy to hear this now given the effect the Verzuz battle had on Dipset. The Diplomats held their own, of course, but between Cam’ron kicking Styles P and Jadakiss rapping his “Who Shot Ya Freestyle” with unchecked lyrical aggression to seal the win, that joint resembled the Terrence Crawford and Erol Spence fight—and Jim N’ nem was NOT Team Bud in that bout.

It only makes things more comically ironic when you realize Jones really went out here on a rematch campaign—alleging he and The Diplomats never properly rehearsed. At any rate, we all won that night because we got to experience one of the most extraordinary nights of Hip Hop in recent memory while being locked down in quarantine. As the great Southern philosopher Future HNDRXX would say, “What A Time To Be Alive.”

Barker has spent a great deal of time focusing on conflict resolution in young people. He uses his own life to show them what he’s been through.

Metro area schools such as Kipp Charter School, Banniker High School, West Lake High School and Creekside High School have reached out to him.

“I go in, get both parties together, sit them down, and come up with a resolution to why there’s a misunderstanding, and how we can make both sides walk away peacefully,” Barber explained. “My life experience is I served 10 years in prison and even on the inside I had to settle issues between gang members as well as just regular civilians, and I brought that same skillset to the streets, to keep so many kids from going back inside.”

Emerging artist 250z (@Official250z) is making waves in the music industry with his distinctive blend of trap and R&B, and his unwavering commitment to authenticity. Drawing inspiration from a lifetime of exposure to music and driven by a desire to create something fresh and innovative, 250z is carving his path in the industry with a sound that’s uniquely his own. His latest project ‘250z’ sets the tone for his music and showcases his creativity throughout the entire 10-track EP.

Describing his music as “very melodic with a trap spin,” 250z wants to bring a new style of trap and R&B to the game, and says that he’s done his homework on artists he’s inspired by. “Chris Brown, Future, James Fauntleroy, and a bunch of others definitely molded my sound and the sound for this album.”

Offset Ends Legal Fight Against Quality Control Music

It appears Kiari Cephus (aka Offset) has decided to drop his lawsuit against his longtime music label home, Quality Control Music.

According to TMZ, Offset filed to dismiss his suit against Quality Control Music with prejudice. Apparently, the 31-year-old rapper will no longer release music through the Atlanta-based company.

Offset accused Quality Control of breaching their contract. Reports claimed the Migos member sued QC to prevent the Kevin “Coach K” Lee and Pierre “P” Thomas-founded label from making money off his solo efforts.

Both sides reportedly negotiated a settlement in January 2021. Offset supposedly believed the deal gave him ownership rights to his recordings and songwriting credits. QC argued that Set actually breached the settlement agreement.

At one point, Offset and Pierre “P” Thomas addressed the legal conflict in public. Last year, P stated, “The last lawsuit was filed publicly and dismissed quietly. Let’s see how this one [goes]. Been [too] real for all this lame s###. Everyone [knows] the real problem.”

Set fired back, “N##### act like I’m the problem. I paid millions to get my rights back. N####, you blackballed me. I ain’t said s### one time, homie. I ain’t spoke to you in 2 years, now I drop and you want ya name on my credit?”

With the legal dispute with Quality Control evidently behind him, Offset seems ready to release his long-awaited second studio album in the near future. The Georgia native recently dropped the “Jealousy’ single featuring his wife, Cardi B.

Father of 4 landed in 2019 via Quality Control Music. The Migos trios, which also included Quavo and the late Takeoff, released four studio LPs between 2015 and 2021. In addition, Offset teamed up with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin for 2017’s Without Warning.

DDG Explains Supporting Kai Cenat Following NYC Riots

Über-popular content creator Kai Cenat became national news over the last week after New York City police officials accused the Twitch streamer of starting a riot. Fellow YouTuber DDG is showing support for the 21-year-old streamer.

On August 4, Kai Cenat attempted to hold a free Playstation giveaway in Union Square Park. Thousands of his followers descended on the location that day causing unattended chaos for the area.

Cenat reportedly did not secure the proper permits from the city. The NYPD charged the gaming influencer with two counts of inciting a riot and unlawful assembly. Authorities released the AMP content group member from custody on Saturday morning.

Billboard caught up with DDG at the publication’s 2023 R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players & Live event. The Maybe It’s Me… album creator explained why he still supports Kai Cenat despite the negative press surrounding him at the moment.

“That’s my homie though,” stated DDG. “Anybody I’m friends with, I’ll ride with them through anything. I just felt they were trying him too much. He was just trying to give back to the people.”

DDG appeared on Kai Cenat’s livestream in September 2022. Plus, the two social media personalities showed up on Memphis rapper NLE Choppa’s YouTube channel earlier this year.

In addition to being an internet star, DDG also releases music as a rapper. Maybe It’s Me… arrived on July 14. His album catalog also includes 2019’s Valedictorian and 2022’s It’s Not Me It’s You.

Many fans also know DDG as the boyfriend of The Little Mermaid actress/Grammy-nominated singer Halle Bailey. Their relationship has been gossip fodder for months with reports claiming the two entertainers split up on more than one occasion.

When asked about Halle Bailey’s new solo single, DDG said, “I gave ‘Angel’ a million streams before it came out. I listen to it a lot. I’m a big supporter of her, obviously, of course.”

Ryan “Rylo Rodriguez” Adams is the first artist signed to Glass Window Entertainment, the label founded by Dominique “Lil Baby” Jones. Glass Window Entertainment also entered a partnership with Capitol Music Group/Motown Records.

“We are excited to welcome Dominique, Rylo, and the Glass Window Entertainment team to Capitol Music Group/Motown Records,” says Michelle Jubelirer, Chair & CEO of Capitol Music Group.

Michelle Jubelirer also adds, “Glass Window and Virgin Records have done a phenomenal job introducing Rylo. We’re thrilled to support this remarkable artist and upcoming Glass Window releases.”

Rylo Rodriguez has worked with Lil Baby on music numerous times. They collaborated on songs such as “Stick On Me” and “5500 Degrees.” The Mobile, Alabama native dropped his Been One studio album on June 30. That project included the song “Real Type” featuring Lil Baby.

“I’m overly excited for Rylo and for his fans and the world to really get to see him on a larger platform! It’s been a long time coming with Rylo and even longer to go! We got work to do and money to get!” Lil Baby states.

In addition, the Atlanta-raised rapper says, “Thank you to Motown/Capitol Music Group and Universal Music Group for trusting my process and I’m looking forward to a wonderful partnership!” Lil Baby currently releases music via Quality Control, Capitol, and Motown.

Digga D & Potter Payper Tease Heavyweight U.K. Rap Collab: “It’s About Time”

Two of the U.K.’s biggest rap stars are joining forces on a new track.

Digga D, who recently declared a move away from his drill music roots, took to Instagram Tuesday to share a photo of himself with Potter Payper. However, this was no ordinary selfie, as the duo took the snap from the studio while hinting they have something coming.

“It’s about time,” Digga D penned in the caption while tagging Potter Payper.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CvsT60aNOjo/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

While they remained tight-lipped about the details, fans in the comment section eagerly anticipated the track.

The upcoming track would be Potter’s first since his release from prison earlier this month. Although the reason for his short stint behind bars is unknown, the “Gangsteritus” hitmaker was freed last week.

Potter Payper released his highly anticipated debut album Real Back In Style on 0207 Def Jam, the label’s U.K. arm, back in May amid reports he had been locked up. However, last week, footage surfaced of the East Londoner walking out of jail a free man.

Digga D Says Drill Is Dead

Meanwhile, Digga D recently declared, “drill has come to an end,” claiming the subgenre has become watered down. His upcoming mixtape, Back to Square One, reportedly includes a track titled “F### Drill.” He also teased a new dancehall-infused song that could feature on the project.

No word yet if the Potter Payper and Digga D collab will land on Back to Square One, but fans are eagerly anticipating the track.

The duo could follow in the steps of fellow U.K. rap history-makers Dave and Central Cee. Their single “Sprinter” soared to the top of the U.K. singles chart, where it has stayed for nine consecutive weeks. The remarkable feat makes “Sprinter” the longest-reigning U.K. rap single in U.K. chart history.

Digga D and Potter Payer first teased the collab back in June, and the track could be released at any time.

Tory Lanez Says He Still Cares About Megan Thee Stallion “To This Day” In Pre-Sentence Plea

Tory Lanez asked not to be judged over his conviction for shooting Megan Thee Stallion and claimed he is still friends with the “Say It” hitmaker in a plea to the judge before he was sentenced to 10 years behind bars.

While he opted not to take the stand during his trial, Tory Lanez reportedly admitted “full responsibility” for his wrongs in a statement to the court Tuesday (August 8.)

“If I could turn back the series of events that night and change them, I would,” Lanez stated per ABC News. “The victim was my friend. The victim is someone I still care for to this day. Everything I did wrong that night, I take full responsibility for.”

Tory Lanez spoke for several minutes, and said he and Megan Thee Stallion bonded over losing their mothers.

“We both lost our mothers, he said according to Legal Affairs and Trials reporter Meghann Cuniff. “We would sit there and drink, and drink until we got numb.”

In a statement read to the court Monday (August 7), Megan Thee Stallion declared, “I cannot bring myself back to being in the same room with Tory.”

She also revealed she still suffers from mental scars from the incident. “Since I was viciously shot by the defendant, I have not experienced a single day of peace.”

“He paid bloggers to disseminate false information, he treated my trauma like a joke when I could’ve been dead,” she continued. “He blamed the system, he blamed the press, and as of late he is using his childhood trauma to justify his actions.”

She added, “Slowly but surely, I’m healing. But I’ll never be the same. His crime warrants the full weight of the law.”

Key Glock Accused Of Assault By Girlfriend: “He Put His Hands On Me”

Key Glock’s girlfriend Karin Jinsu has blasted the Memphis-bred rapper in a scathing statement, accusing him of assaulting her.

On Monday (August 8), the “Presidential Rolex” hitmaker took to Twitter to announce he was “Sending this fake godly ass b#### back to da streets.” He then shared another few tweets the following day about his relationship drama claiming his girlfriend isn’t what she appears to be on Instagram.

However, Karin Jinsu responded on Instagram, accusing Key Glock of assaulting her. In a since-deleted post, Jinsu claimed Glock puts on a “Playa” persona for the public but in fact, is a “hurt a** little boy. She claimed he “desperately needs help,” alleging “He put his hands on me Monday because he don’t know how to have grown up conversations.

She also directly addressed Glock’s tweet that he doesn’t “respect nobody who play police games,” denying she contacted the authorities. “I STILL ain’t call the cops or inform the hotel,” Jinsu stated. “I just left… Why he decided to post about the cops & they wasn’t even called is funny as hell.”

Karin Jinsu Claims Key Glock Pursued Her For Four Years

According to Karin Jinsu, Key Glock has little to offer “a grown righteous woman,” like herself, despite “BEGGING me to be in my presence for 4 years.”

Boosie Badazz Says Tory Lanez Got Off Lightly: “Louisiana He Would Have Got 40”

Boosie Badazz believes Tory Lanez is “lucky” to have received a 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge David Herriford handed down the sentence to the R&B singer Tuesday (August 8). Under California law, the 31-year-old will likely only serve 85 percent of his sentence.

However, in an Instagram Live chat following the sentencing, Boosie said Tory Lanez “came out good,” adding that he would have received a much stiffer sentence if the trial had been in Louisiana.

“A crime on a woman, highly televised,” Boosie mused before adding Tory Lanez would have got “40 n####, no cap.” He reflected on his own ten-year sentence adding, “Straight to Angola. He was lucky he ain’t in Louisiana.”

While Boosie admitted he doesn’t know California law, he believes Lanez will bounce back after serving a few years.

“He ain’t gon’ do nothing but three years on that,” Boosie continued. “Louisiana, he would have got 40 [years]. I got 10 years for third-offense marijuana. Twenty-five grams, another couple grams and some more grams. He’ll be back, stronger than ever. You can’t take his talent away. He gon’ be back.” Check out the clip below.

Last December, a jury found Tory Lanez guilty, and he was convicted of three felonies, including assault with a semiautomatic firearm. Prosecutors originally sought a 13-year sentence while Lanez’s attorneys argued for probation and drug rehab for the Canadian artist.
