Quavo & Travis Scott To Team Up For Sequel To “Huncho Jack” Project?

Migos rapper Quavo appears to be hinting at a potential sequel to his and Travis Scott’s acclaimed collaborative project, Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho.

In a post Quavo recently shared on Instagram, a short snippet of an unreleased track featuring Scott played in the background as his yacht sped on the waters of the open sea. Though the quality of the clip wasn’t at all ideal, it appears as though Quavo may have a more refined product on his hands as he teased in the caption, “Thinking HJ2? Tag Jack!”

When Quavo and Travis Scott first teamed up in 2017 for Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho, the album, which debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, quickly produced several fan-favorite bangers. Featuring hits like “Modern Slavery” and “Saint,” the project captivated fans with its unique blend of Quavo’s melodic hooks and Travis Scott’s dark, atmospheric production.

The album not only topped charts but also dominated streaming platforms. It garnered over 200 million streams on Spotify in its first month and the music videos for its singles have collectively amassed hundreds of millions of views on YouTube.

If Huncho Jack 2 is indeed on the horizon, the question on everyone’s mind is who will be featured alongside these two hip-hop giants. Quavo has recently branched out into unexpected territory, teaming up with Lana Del Rey for the track “Tough,” showcasing his versatility.

Scott, on the other hand, has been busy collaborating with big names like Bad Bunny and The Weeknd, hinting at a more diverse and eclectic sound for any upcoming projects. Imagine the possibilities if these artists, or perhaps other majors like Drake or Lil Baby, were to lend their talents to HJ2!?

Foolio’s Funeral: Friends & Family Sing Yungeen Ace Diss During Service

Foolio was fatally shot at a Holiday Inn in Tampa, Florida on June 23 as he was celebrating his 26th birthday.

Friends and family had a chance to say their goodbyes at his recent funeral service in his hometown of Jacksonville, where they happily sang Foolio’s Yungeen Ace diss, “When I See You.” Footage of the unconventional sing-a-long started making the rounds on social media on Sunday (July 7).

“Went out to eat on his birthday (six),” one woman raps in the clip. “Four shot, three dead in the worst way (damn)/He kept dissin’ on me (what happened?)/Now we smokin’ 23.”

The beef between Foolio and Yungeen Ace stretches back years. Hours after the former’s murder, Yungeen Ace, dropped a video for “Do it.” Although the track doesn’t mention Foolio by name or his death, the video for the song is eerily reminiscent of the events that unfolded at the hotel, including several masked individuals mowing down a man in what appears to be a hotel parking lot.

Yungeen Ace, Foolio and their respective gangs, Ace’s Top Killers (ATK) and Kill Them All (KTA), have been feuding since roughly 2015. At least seven Jacksonville rappers have been killed, and both Yungeen Ace and Foolio were shot at various times during the war.

As Foolio referenced in “When I See You,” Yungeen Ace and three others—including his brother Trevon Bullard—were celebrating a birthday in June 2018, when someone opened fire on their car. Bullard and two others were killed, including Ace’s brother, while the rapper managed to survive after being shot eight times. In 2021, Foolio was grazed by a bullet and targeted in another shooting last year. He was hit in the foot and, in fact, was still in a walking boot in recent Instagram photos.

Obviously, Foolio didn’t survive the latest shooting. So far, police Tampa police have yet to release information on possible suspects. In the meantime, someone in charge of Foolio’s Instagram account has been taunting Yungeen Ace, continuing their contentious and fatal feud.

On June 28, Yungeen Ace dropped a new song and video for “Game Over” on his YouTube channel in which he (once again) seems to be dissing Foolio. Yungeen Ace plugged the video and song on Instagram and someone using Foolio’s account instantly labeled it “trash,” although the comment has since been deleted. Yungeen Ace replied, “You still f###### with me dude? I love you 4EVA.”

The bizarre exchanges left many of their fans confused. Some actually believed Foolio was still alive, while others assumed his family was running promo from his Instagram page to help pay for his funeral costs.

Eddie Murphy Reveals Unconventional Funeral Wishes

Eddie Murphy has shared his unconventional wish for the end of his life: no funeral.

During an interview with reporter Kevin McCarthy on Instagram, the comedian revealed his desire for a private and quiet departure.

“My family and friends know I don’t want a funeral when I die,” Eddie Murphy stated firmly.

In a light-hearted moment, he quipped that if any event were to be held, it should feature the ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ theme song to elicit smiles.

“That’s just a joke ’cause I’m never having a funeral. I mean, I’m gonna die like everyone else. But (my loved ones) know…no funeral. Just let me go quietly,” Eddie Murphy said.

The actor, who recently turned 63, is promoting the fourth installment of the “Beverly Hills Cop
series, “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F,” which is now streaming on Netflix.

Despite his many roles in other popular movies, such as “Coming to America,” “Dr. Dolittle,” and voicing Donkey in “Shrek,” it is his portrayal of the street-smart cop, Axel Foley, that continues to resonate with fans.

During the interview, Murphy addressed the comparison many fans and media have made between his character, Foley and the legendary spy, James Bond.

“I’ve been asked how I feel about playing ‘the Black James Bond,'” he chuckled. “I tell them I don’t need to be some Black James Bond. I have Axel Foley and he has theme music and everything.”

By foregoing a traditional funeral, Murphy aims for a more subdued farewell, preferring to leave quietly without the customary ceremonies.

E-40 Scolds Man For Mistaking Him For Fat Joe: “Do Your Homework!”

In the era of TikTok and Instagram, content is king. A purported comedian who gets attention by misidentifying celebrities on camera might have just started an entire war with the Bay Area. On Saturday (July 6), a clip of E-40 walking through what looks like some kind of convention center started making the rounds. The perpetrator holding the camera says, “I knew that was you, bro. Fat Joe! Fat Joe, bro! You ain’t Fat Joe?”

E-40, looking thoroughly confused, replies, “No. You calling me Fat Joe? You a comedian. … You know that’s childish, right? Come on, man. When was you born? 2024? Get the f### outta here, man. That’s childish. Do your homework.” Forty Water then walks off as the comedian stays behind to explain what just happened to an onlooker.

Fat Joe hopped in the comment section of The Hip Hop Wolf’s Instagram account and wrote, “F### these clout chasers. E-40 a man of respect,” which elicited hundreds of likes.

E-40’s solo career took off with the release of his debut album Federal in 1993, and he continued to rise in popularity with subsequent albums such as In a Major Way (1995) and Tha Hall of Game (1996). Known for integrating his Bay Area slang into his rhymes, his innovative flow and business acumen, E-40 has been a pivotal figure in the Bay Area rap scene for decades and has released over 20 studio albums throughout his career.

Apart from his music career, E-40 is also recognized for his entrepreneurial ventures. He’s invested in various businesses, including a line of wines and spirits, and has been involved in several food-related enterprises. His influence extends beyond music; he’s appeared in films and television shows, further solidifying his status as a cultural icon. E-40’s longevity and adaptability in the music industry have made him a respected and enduring figure in Hip-Hop—just not to this comedian, apparently.

Missy Elliott is finally setting out on her first-ever headlining tour, Out of This World: The Missy Elliott Experience. The tour kicked off Thursday at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The rap star’s trek on the road comes after she delayed touring multiple times to care for her cherished dog Hoodie, who passed away last November.

“I stayed home a lot because I didn’t want to go out on the road, and something happened,” Elliott told PEOPLE. “He was 17 and lived a long, happy life.”

Hoodie’s passing left a void, but Elliott’s close friend and fellow musician Ciara spurred her into reconsidering her decision.

“So I said, ‘Okay, now I can leave the house without having to worry about anything,'” Elliott recalled. “So Ciara and my dog played a big influence in me making the decision to go out.”

The Grammy Award-winning rapper will be bringing along her other dog, Miss Fendi Dior, for the 24-city tour.

“She’s six years old,” Elliott said. “So she’s got her clothes ready to go out on the road with us. It’ll be fun, fun.”

Throughout the tour, cities such as Las Vegas, Boston, New York City and Los Angeles will witness Elliott’s electrifying performances. Ciara, Busta Rhymes and Timbaland will join her on stage.

Chet Hanks Calls for Love After Racists Hijack “White Boy Summer”

Chet Hanks, son of famed actor Tom Hanks, has forcefully denounced the appropriation of his “White Boy Summer” term by white supremacist groups, which he claims has distorted its original, playful intent.

The rapper, who created the phrase in 2021 after titling a song “White Boy Summer,” says it was intended as a light-hearted celebration of diversity and interracial admiration.

Instead, it has been co-opted into a racially charged slogan.

“White Boy Summer was created to be fun, playful, and a celebration of fly white boys who love beautiful queens of every race,” Hanks, 33, wrote on social media.

He further condemned any use of the phrase to promote hate or violence, stating, “Anything else that it has been twisted into to support any kind of hate or bigotry against any group of people is deplorable and I condemn it.”

A post shared by 🏔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗧 𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞𝗦 🧞‍♂️ (@chethanx)

The term initially gained traction on social media, with Hanks urging his followers to “tag a REAL Vanilla king.”

Despite his intentions, the phrase was ridiculed online, with critics pointing out its awkward and potentially problematic connotations.

“Someone tell Chet Hanks that we’re already several thousand years into a white boy summer,” one comment read, encapsulating the tongue-in-cheek backlash.

With the catchphrase now tainted by association with extremist groups, Hanks is adamant about reclaiming its intended meaning.

He explained that “White Boy Summer” was designed to mirror Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hot Girl Summer,” promoting inclusivity and interracial relationships over divisive rhetoric.

“I hope that we all can spread love to each other and treat each other with kindness and dignity,” he added.

EXCLUSIVE: Erica Banks Wants To Make A “Rich Baby Daddy” Type Collaboration With SZA

Erica Banks and SZA could join forces together soon and create a club-ready collaboration akin to Drake’s “Rich Baby Daddy” featuring Sexyy Red, if it’s left up to the Houston-bred rapper.

During an exclusive interview with AllHipHop at the 2024 BET Awards, the “On His Face” hitmaker revealed her deep love and reverence for the Top Dawg Entertainment vocalist. In the process, Banks explained why she would pass up opportunities to collaborate with the likes of artists such as Béyonce, Doja Cat, Muni Long and more, who were nominated in the Best Female Pop Artist category at the BET Awards, in order to work with SZA.

“SZA for sure,” Banks replied when asked who she’d work with first. “Really. I love her so much. I love them all actually. I love the whole list you just read, but if I had to just go who first to work with it would definitely be SZA.”

Bank went on to describe when she first fell in love with SZA, remarking on what initially drew her to the “Kill Bill” vocalist’s music, and her overall aura as well.

“I fell in love with SZA when she drops her CTRL album,” she said. “I fell in love with ‘CTRL’ and I just feel like she has this soft, pure vibe about herself. I’ve never met her, but I would love to meet her and get a chance to work with her and make a song that the whole world would love.”

Banks’ dream collaboration could become a reality sooner rather than later, considering the success SZA’s collaborations with rappers in the past has generated. Notably, her feature on Doja Cat’s “Kiss Me More” quickly took over social media, ultimately reaching No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning widespread radio airplay. Her collaboration with Kendrick Lamar on “All the Stars” for the Black Panther film soundtrack was another major success, peaking at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and amassing over 800 million streams on Spotify. More recently, SZA’s feature on Travis Scott’s “K-POP” also garnered significant attention, entering the Hot 100 and rapidly climbing streaming charts. In essence, history tells us this pair could definitely craft a crow-favorite hit by combining Banks’ spicy lyricism and kinky concepts with SZA’s dreamy vocals and twisted perspective.

“I think that we all would love to see that but people would have to be willing to do that,” she explained. “And to be perfectly honest with you, and [Nicki Minaj] gonna kill me for saying even this, but I did reach out to Kim.”

Nicki Minaj responded with a contentious post, blasting Antney for going public. Minaj admitted she was furious when she learned Antney extended the olive branch to Lil Kim, insisting people would believe she did it on her behalf.

“Deb, Isn’t it funny how you left out the biggest part of the story?” Minaj began. “I didn’t ask you to do a THING! You told me AFTER THE FACT & I SCREAMED ON YOU & told you if you reach out to ppl now that you’re being seen around me, they will THINK it’s coming FROM ME so to NEVER do that again w/o discussing it with me FIRST. I said I’d never want that & that now she’d think that message came from me which is not cool.”

Minaj then revealed Antney suggested Lim Kim and Foxy Brown join her Pink Friday 2 Tour.  She continued, “HIGHEST GROSSING TOUR BY A FEMALE RAPPER IN HISTORY. Currently top 10 in history. Competing for TOP 3 in history when the tour is done. You laughed it off & said her & foxy should come out I said no I’d only want foxy to come out on stage with me, she’s like family to me. No disrespect.”

Furthermore, Minaj also accused Antney of using the Lil Kim story and her name for attention. “Stop using my name for clickbait in 2024. We get it!!!!! I’m dat btch!!!!!!” she added. “How dare you? Interviews? Chiiiiiiiiiiiiii WOO WEE!!!!! This world, man, this world. Love yourself deeply.”

Megan Thee Stallion Accused Of Having 30 Million Bought Streams

It looks like we have some trouble in paradise! The word on the street is that Roc Nation purchased 30 million streams for Megan Thee Stallion‘s new album. How did this happen?

Well, let’s discuss it. First of all, she burst onto the scene with her latest project titled Megan, which had roughly 71 million streams globally. On the Fourth of July, it had the biggest debut of all her albums with just two days of tracking. But, those numbers did not hold up!

There was some sort of filtering on the streams, removing upwards of 30 million. This put her album back to the number 30 spot! They are saying that all of these streams were faked to boost her numbers. I like Megan! I really do! But, I hope this is not what’s happening. However, there are quite a few reports that suggest that’s what’s occurring.

Look at what I found and you tell me what you think.

I wonder how this will pan out? Thoughts? Does this matter? As you think, listen to the album, Megan!

Eddie Murphy Hopes For Comedic Grandchild Through Martin Lawrence’s Daughter

Eddie Murphy has expressed his hopes for his family’s future as his son Eric, dating Jasmin Page—the daughter of fellow comedian Martin Lawrence—could potentially expand the family tree.

The seasoned actor and comedian, now 63, shared his thoughts about the prospective grandchild during an interview on CBS Mornings, highlighting the intertwined legacies of two comedy icons.

“They’re both beautiful, they look amazing together,” Eddie Murphy said of the couple, emphasizing the excitement surrounding Eric’s relationship with Jasmin.

He humorously speculated on the possibility of a future grandchild inheriting comedic genes from both families.

“And it’s funny, everybody’s like, ‘What is that baby gonna be funny?’ Our gene pool is gonna make this funny baby,” Eddie Murphy joked.

Eddie Murphy, who has ten children and one grandchild, is no stranger to expanding family dynamics.

His lineage includes son Eric with former girlfriend Paulette McNeely, son Christian with ex-girlfriend Tamara Hood, daughters Bella, Zola, Shayne, and Bria, and son Myles with ex-wife Nicole Mitchell Murphy.

Additionally, he shares daughter Angel with Spice Girl Mel B and two children—son Max and daughter Izzy—with fiancée Paige Butcher.

In 2019, Murphy experienced the joys of grandparenthood for the first time when Myles welcomed a daughter, Evie Isla.

Now, he sees the potential for another grandchild, this time with intriguing connections to the comedic world.

Jasmin, daughter of Martin Lawrence and his ex-wife, producer Patricia Southall, has found herself in the spotlight with Eric, creating a media buzz around their relationship.

Murphy added, “If they ever get married and have a child, I am expecting the child to be funny.”

Busta Rhymes Goes Off On Concertgoers Using Phones As Part Of ESSENCE Fest Rant

Busta Rhymes shook the stage up, literally, at the 30th anniversary ESSENCE Fest concert in New Orleans earlier this weekend.

In addition to hosting the reunion of Cash Money’s Hot Boys, ESSENCE Fest also brought out the New York MC for his inaugural appearance at the weekend-long event. At one point during his set, Busta stopped the music and addressed the crowd, demanding everyone rise to their feet and even directly calling concertgoers out for sitting down.

“Hey, yo, f##k them camera phones too,” Busta Rhymes said.

“Let’s get back to interacting like humans. Put them weird ass devices down. I ain’t from that era. Them s##ts don’t control the soul. F##k your phone. Excuse me gentlemen. Thank you very much. I won’t point every last one of y’all out until y’all ass is up.”

He continued, “Thirty three years of doing this s##t. I ain’t used to. N###as sitting down at my show, I don’t give a f##k. All age groups. Get your ass up! I see you beautiful queen. Get up too.”

As Busta continued, he remarked on what he described as his “zero tolerance” policy for lack luster energy.

“F##k going on. Everybody up Top too, get your big head a#### up,” he said. “Look, the reason why there will be zero tolerance for b####### energy in here is because this is my first time in New Orleans at the f###ing 30 years anniversary of Essence Fest. This is my first time. This is my brother first time, and it’s my other brother. First time. That’s right. Make me feel like we home.”

Video of Busta’s outburst to the crowd quickly generated traction on social media, with a version of the video circulation on Twitter attracting well over a million views essentially overnight. Additionally, the reactions from his fans and viewers of the ESSENCE Fest stream poured in as the video began going viral.

Many users sided with Busta, citing the crowd’s mid energy as the source of his frustration.

“I been to well over 100 rap shows. Busta and Red/Meth are the greatest hip-hop performers living. Sad to see this new generation not appreciate their greatness the way others genre’s do for their legends,” a Twitter user remarked in a tweet.

However, some users suggested the artist is to blame for a low vibrational crowd.

“Missy Elliot was down bad at the Essence a few years ago. I thought it was the crowd, but Ms. Badu hit the stage, and IT WENT DOWN. It’s the artist, not the audience,” another user wrote in a tweet.

Also, weather apparently played a major factor in the turnout for Busta’s performance, according to concertgoers.

“For context, there was damn near a hurricane outside of the stadium. That is why there were only like 400 people in there 😂 Also, don’t judge a short clip, it was light-hearted, and he put on an amazing set. My section had a ball,” the user tweeted.

Nick Cannon Defends Ballsy Decision To Insure Testicles For $10 Million

Nick Cannon has defended insuring his testicles for a staggering $10 million, igniting waves of reaction among fans and media spectators alike.

Cannon, a father of 12, revealed the unusual insurance policy last month.

He is trying to convince skeptics that his decision is as reasonable as that of other celebrities who insure their prized physical assets.

In an interview with “Entertainment Tonight,” the 43-year-old American TV personality known for hosting “America’s Got Talent” explained, “I had to insure my most valuable assets. Because you hear about all these different celebrities insuring their legs… so I was like, ‘Hey, well, I got to insure my most valuable body part.'”

Nick Cannon’s logic sparked curiosity and amusement across the entertainment world.

He joined a list of famous figures who have taken out exorbitant insurance policies on their bodies, including J. Lo, who reportedly had her bottom insured for $28 million and Tina Turner, who did the same for her legs with a $3.2 millioin policy.

Despite the unusual move, Nick Cannon denied that the insurance policy indicated plans for expanding his already large family.

He emphasized, “(I’m) just making sure nothing goes wrong,” putting to rest rumors that he intended to have more children in the near future.

Nick Cannon’s family life has always been a topic of interest, given his colorful history and the range of women with whom he has had children.

He shares 13-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with iconic singer Mariah Carey, his ex-wife.

Bri Tiesi is the mother of his son Legendary, he has three with Brittany Bell, three with Abby De La Rosa, two with Alyssa Scott and one with LaNisha Cole.

In a 2022 interview with People, Cannon expressed his joy in fatherhood, stating, “Every day I just wake up excited as a father. I’m so excited about all my kids. Constantly, from every aspect of it. From them getting citizen of the month awards in the first grade to the birth of the new ones.”

Azealia Banks Trashes Claims She Was Evicted From Florida Home: “Landlord Is A Drunk”

Azealia Banks denied claims she was evicted from her Florida home in an Instagram post on Friday (July 5). After the news started circulating on social media, Banks fired back, “Umm this is a lie. Lmao these miami landlords be deesssepperaaaate. I’ve already moved CXQ HQ to 7995 SW 154th Terrace Palmetto Bay, FL, 33157.

“Lmao why do these tostones grease bathing white wannabes in Miami really think I’m gonna play with them? Pop Tingz better correct that s###. You can search the public record…There is no eviction ordered by any court. The landlord is a drunk with H Pylori who has been menacing me the entire time I lived there. Sis had her husband come in to the house under some guise of fixing broken outlets.”

Banks’ account contradicts what the paperwork says. According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Isis Claro asked a Florida court for a final judgment of possession in a complaint against Banks for failure to pay rent on Tuesday (July 2).

“This eviction was filed because Tenant owes Plaintiff’s past due rent,” Claro’s motion read. “Defendant filed an Answer thereby preventing a clerk’s default; however, Defendant failed to deposit rent into the Court Registry. Florida Statutes specifically state that in an action by the landlord for possession of a dwelling unit, if the tenant interposes any defense other than payment, including but not limited to the defense of a defective 3-day notice, the tenant shall pay into the registry of the court the accrued rent as alleged in the complaint.”

The motion continued, “Failure of the tenant to pay the rent into the registry of the court or to file a motion to determine the amount of rent to be paid into the registry within 5 days … after the date of service of process constitutes an absolute waiver of the tenant’s defenses other than payment. And the landlord is entitled to an immediate default judgment for the removal of the tenant.”

Diddy’s Son Compared To Famous Father For Taking Sexualized Photos Of His Girlfriend

Diddy‘s son King Combs stirred up some controversy on Friday (July 5) after posting several sexualized photos of his girlfriend on Instagram.

While there were several positive comments, some wondered why he’d be so daring to share a picture of himself taking an intimate photo of his girlfriend considering the seemingly endless sexual assault allegations against his father. Comments like “if ‘smh’ was a person, “just like your dad smh” and “the camera is wild bold” started littering the post, although they were peppered in between other comments defending him.

The comments were even worse on other social media platforms that re-posted King Combs’ photos. One said, “He objectifies this girl and yall call it goals. I see a lot of his father’s qualities in him,” while another said, “Second picture is very insensitive, especially with everything going on with his family presently!” Yet another added, “The boy is infatuated with the body and uses her physical appearance to boost his ego, the woman on the other hand loves the money and access that comes with being ‘in the family’ they deserve each other.”

While King Combs hasn’t been implicated in any crimes related to his famous father, he was seen outside Diddy’s Los Angeles mansion following a raid by Homeland Security agents in March. Both King Combs and his brother Justin were handcuffed and escorted from the property during the raid, which was part of an investigation into alleged sex trafficking activities. The federal agents used significant force, including weapons and helicopters, which reportedly left the entire Combs family “traumatized” by the experience.

The raid resulted in a chaotic scene, with belongings scattered throughout the mansion as agents searched for evidence. Despite the dramatic show of force, no arrests were made at the time. Diddy’s lawyer criticized the raid as an excessive use of military-level force, particularly concerning the treatment of Diddy’s children and household staff.

After the raid, both of Diddy’s son returned briefly to collect their belongings before leaving the property, possibly to avoid further distress. However, Diddy has decided to sell the home. According to reports, he’s seeking roughly $70 million for the Holmby Hills neighborhood estate. The Bad Boy Records founder bought the mansion for $40 million just this year.

The feds targeted his lavish residences as part of a sex trafficking investigation. Diddy’s lawyer Aaron Dyer condemned the raids, saying, “There was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences,” Dyer said. “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated. Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.”

He continued, “This unprecedented ambush — paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence — leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits. There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”

Megan Thee Stallion Prioritizes Mental Health Over Public Perception

Megan Thee Stallion has taken a crucial step back to safeguard her mental well-being amidst rising fame.

As the spotlight grew brighter, the Hip-Hop sensation realized the importance of setting personal boundaries to balance her public and private life.

“In my earlier come-up days, it was definitely easier to show up as myself because I really didn’t understand being famous,” Megan told L’Officiel USA. “I didn’t understand not giving all of yourself to everybody all the time. I didn’t understand boundaries. I didn’t have any boundaries. I was just living. And as I keep growing, I understand, Okay, y’all don’t need all of this all the time. I could still be me, but there does need to be a respect level that I have for myself.”

Facing the harsh realities of fame, the ‘Savage’ rapper has also been working on caring less about public opinion and more about self-acceptance.

“I don’t even want to care who hates me, really. What I should be focusing on is the love that I do receive,” she emphasized. “That’s what I’m trying to get better about now. Everything is not going to be great all the time. If I’m going to be here for the cheers, I got to be here for the boos.”

She realized juggling the desire to be liked by everyone was an impossible feat.

“You want to be well liked by everyone. You want to be the baddest, you want to be the best, but you want to do it the right way. I did have to learn that there is no right way. Whoever you are, be that,” Megan Thee Stallion reasoned.
