We were all taken aback when “Livin’” became an international hit. A meteoric rise in SHAMOUN’s career has been fueled by the song. As a result, people are talking about him.
He released a three-song EP this year. Like “Livin,” their popularity is on the rise. The EP, on the other hand, stands alone as a piece of art. We don’t know what SHAMOUN has accomplished, but the EP is an unforgettable experience.
Nothing about SHAMOUN was known to anyone in the music business until recently. As a result, when he suddenly came and published this EP, I was taken entirely by surprise. By the engaging and pleasurable nature of all of his works, his songwriting skills may be observed to be exceptional.
Benzino created a mess by claiming his daughter Coi Leray and Nicki Minaj teamed up for a song.
Nicki Minaj denied working with Coi Leray after Benzino boasted about the two’s supposed collaboration on Clubhouse. Benzino said the song would appear on his daughter’s album, which is expected to drop in March.
“She’s got the song with Nicki Minaj that’s gonna be coming out that’s gonna be crazy,” he said on Clubhouse.
Benzino’s words quickly spread on social media, prompting Nicki Minaj to address the situation. She insisted no collaboration was on the way in an Instagram Stories post.
“I don’t have a collab coming with anyone,” she wrote. “Onika mode. Love you.”

Coi Leray also commented on Benzino’s blunder. During an Instagram Live session, she revealed she spoke to her father about his Clubhouse remarks.
“I love him to death, but he just p##### me off,” she said.
After causing confusion, Benzino issued a public apology via Twitter. He directed it at Nicki Minaj, his daughter and “everyone involved.”
“I just wanna apologize to Coi, Nicki everyone involved, I meant no harm nor did I mean to offend or disrespect anyone,” he wrote. “I know better, it’s a business of trust and I broke that. I feel horrible and sad. I am 100 percent in the wrong and it will never happen again. Smh.”

Kenny Muney leaves fans with one reminder: Time is Muney. Also the title of his highly-anticipated, newly released mixtape, the 16-track project hails standout features from Dreezy and fellow labelmates Key Glock and Big Moochie Grape. Being signed to Young Dolph’s Paper Route Empire speaks volumes in itself, and Kenny Muney is here to keep Dolph’s name alive the best way he can.
In describing himself, Kenny states he’s “a talented hustler, that’s the best way to put it. I’m a gem. I’m someone you find, you just stuck on them by the time you finally find it. A lot of people probably not up yet but when they get on it, they going to be stuck.”
With the release of “Role Model,” a tribute track dedicated to the loss of his mentor, OG, and good friend, Kenny reminds folks exactly why Dolph is one of the greatest to ever do it. Hailing from South Memphis comes with its own battles and obstacles, and Dolph gave Kenny the push he needed to be seen in the big leagues. An opportunity that he’ll never take for granted, Kenny decided to leave the streets behind and fully commit to the music game… wearing his heart on his sleeve with each release.
AllHipHop caught up with Kenny in downtown Los Angeles, who was rocking multiple chains around his neck including PRE and his own brand WLE: Whole Lotta Errthang.
AllHipHop: Obviously you’re from South Memphis, what was that like growing up?
Kenny Muney: It’s a lot. You see a lot of stuff going on, just normal street s###. Memphis period is like that. You gotta find a way to make the best of it.
AllHipHop: When did you fall in love with music?
I always liked music. I always liked listening to music. I always used music to blow time, but I started playing with it with my homies. When I started making my own music, I started putting it out and people liked it. I kept doing it.
AllHipHop: What artists made you want to do music?
Kenny Muney: Dolph, Gucci, Boosie. Folks like that.
AllHipHop: How did Dolph catch wind of you?
Kenny Muney: S###, on the streets. I was doing what I was doing, that s### was spreading and people were f###### with it. He always f#### with people who work. He started hitting me up and I started hitting him back. I hit him up for advice, even before I was signed to him. He was f###### with me. He wanted to sign me way before I even signed.
AllHipHop: Why didn’t you?
Kenny Muney: Because I was trying to do what he was doing. I was trying to do it myself. Later on, he said, “Bruh, you still gon’ do it yourself. I’m just gon’ help you, be more hands on.” That’s what made me go on and sign to him.
AllHipHop: Because they don’t just sign anyone to PRE!
Kenny Muney: Hell nah.
AllHipHop: How did he reach out to you initially?
Kenny Muney: You know, Glock been signed to him. Me and Glock, he’s my brother. One day I said, “hey, I’m about to drop this tape. See if Dolph would post it.” He said, “S###, you ask him!” I DMed him like, “bruh, would you post this for me?” He posted it like “this joint hard. This m########### hard little bruh!” S### from there, I called him one day and said, “The radio tryna charge me blah blah blah.” He said, “That sounds about right, but I’ll see if they’ll do it for cheaper.” From there, anytime I want to know something, I’ll call him and he’ll give me the game.
AllHipHop: What was the conversation when you actually did sign?
Kenny Muney: Just like that. He’s like, “Bruh I look at it like you’re still doing your own thing, doing it however you want to do it. You just got a machine to help you now. You got somebody who sees your vision and understands, not just trying to capitalize off of it. Now I want to see you do what I’m doing.”
AllHipHop: Dolph was one of the biggest independent artists. You made a song called “Role Model,” what does that mean to dedicate that to him?
Kenny Muney: He’s my role model. Everything I wanted to do, that’s what he was doing. I paid close attention, I got to learn hands on. A lot of people don’t get to learn hands on from the people they’re watching. It was good I got to actually experience a real relationship with the person I looked up to.
AllHipHop: What was the vibe in the studio?
Kenny Muney: I ain’t gon’ lie, we were never really in the studio together. We always in the studio together, but not even recording. We just be chillin’, just kicking it. When we were recording, everybody really records on their own occasion. But when we’re together, we be chillin’. We never really think about music like that. But when it’s time to go over my tape, Dolph sits right here and we’re locking in. It be strictly locking in, he’s listening. We’re locked all the way in, he’s picking the songs.
AllHipHop: Is that what happened with Time is Muney?
Kenny Muney: Yeah fasho! A majority of the songs, he handpicked them. Usually he lets me do what I want to do, but we was eye to eye on his album. He’s like, “Bruh, you using this song.” I’m like “I don’t want to use that song!” He’s like “Even if you gotta force it, I’m using it!” We were on the same page with this tape for sure.
AllHipHop: Happy release day! How do you feel?
Kenny Muney: I feel good. Getting a lot of good feedback, they love it. You can’t hate it. Even my haters love it. That m########### hard, all the way through.
AllHipHop: How important is time?
Kenny Muney: S###, it’s way more important than money. For sure. You can’t make no money without time. You ain’t gon’ get nothing without time.
AllHipHop: One thing you want people to get from this project?
Kenny Muney: To invest your time and invest your money. Believe in what you’re doing. Know that it might take time and it might cost you some money, but you’ll get there if you sacrifice. Decide that those two things, you gotta have one to make the other one happy. You could have all the ideas, you can have everything, but if you don’t invest the time, you’re not gonna make the money.
AllHipHop: What songs mean the most to you on the project and why?
Kenny Muney: I ain’t gonna lie, every song. Every song has its own different variation of Time is Muney. On each song, it’s me expressing how I spend my time. Whether I’m talking about the past experience, whether I’m talking about what I want to do or what I’m doing, it’s me talking about my time. There’s not an exact song that I like the most, because they’re all hard! They’re literally all hard. Not just my whole tape hard, nah. Every single song is like damn! I gotta listen to some songs 50 times before I go to the next one.
AllHipHop: You have features from Glock, Big Moochie Grape
<_ allhiphop.com=”allhiphop.com” features=”features” big-moochie-grape-the-newest-artist-signed-to-paper-route-empire=”big-moochie-grape-the-newest-artist-signed-to-paper-route-empire” =”“>, and Dreezy. How’d that happen?
Kenny Muney: I met Dreezy when I was on tour. We was on the Dum & Dummer Tour, she pulled up to the show.
AllHipHop: Oh, I was there! In Los Angeles at The Wiltern?
Kenny Muney: Yeah, he introduced each other. We just started chopping it up. I started coming back and forth to LA recently, we knew a mutual person. We ended up putting it together and making it happen. I f### with Dreezy, she’s hard for sure!
AllHipHop: What’s your relationship with Key Glock?
Kenny Muney: That’s my dawg! He’s who I started rapping with. We started rapping together. He’s hard, that’s my brother before anything. Before no music. Honestly, we don’t even talk about music. At all, we talk about mamas and partnas. We got the same partnas, same everything. That’s my dawg!
AllHipHop: What was it like seeing his come up? Because he’s hard as f###.
Kenny Muney: It’s motivating. A lot of people look at their partna next to them and they don’t like what they see or feel entitled. Bruh, he’ll tell anybody, I’m his biggest fan. That’s my dawg! Whatever he’s doing, I’m proud and I’m happy for what he’s doing. I’ma do my own thing and do how I do it, but it’s always gonna be me supportive of what he’s doing and vice versa. I always use it as motivation like damn, my boy be turnt. I like it, I love it! It makes me happy because I know where he comes from.
AllHipHop: Hip-Hop in general took a huge loss. What was your reaction when you heard about Dolph’s passing? How did you cope?
Kenny Muney: Still coping. The feeling is indescribable. It makes me do what I know he wants me to do. I got a strong enough bond with him that I know what he’d want me to do in these types of situations. All I can do is think, like I said from the beginning of me starting to do this, “What would Dolph do?” I just have to figure it out.
AllHipHop: What’s your favorite Dolph song?
Kenny Muney: Not going to lie, I got so many different favorites. It’s an old song, you have to be super into Dolph to know it. It’s a song called “No Panties.” It’s old Dolph, super old. Dolph knows I like when he be talking his s### about women. Not in a bad way, but this song’s playa. It’s my favorite song
AllHipHop: 3 things you need in the studio at all times?
Kenny Muney: My gun, of course. My peace. If I need people around me, if that’s gonna make me feel peaceful, I need that. If I don’t want nobody in there, I need everybody to leave. My peace for sure, and I gotta have some chicken. [laughs] Chicken fasho, I gotta eat some chicken.
AllHipHop: How you like your chicken?
Kenny Muney: Fried, with honey mustard and ranch.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h81CTNJdZMg
AllHipHop: What were you going through recording “Petro”?
Kenny Muney: I was thinking about how to get a point across in a different type of way, without getting in trouble. I had to make it make sense.
AllHipHop: I see you selling stuff in the video.
Kenny Muney: I was selling gas out the store, actual gas. They was getting a discount on 93.
AllHipHop: Any goals for yourself?
Kenny Muney: One day when I get old, I’m done rapping and I’m done being in the streets, I want a hotel. It’s 24 hours trappin’. What hotel you know don’t got someone there? It’s someone always at the hotel.
AllHipHop: What’s the hotel gonna be called?
Kenny Muney: Moneifa, it sounds like money. [laughs] It gotta be somewhere where I’m bringing in money. It’s gotta be somewhere turnt. It ain’t gonna be in the hood fasho, you gotta have your paper to come there.
AllHipHop: What are you most excited for next?
Kenny Muney: S###, I just dropped this tape. I ain’t gon’ lie, the deluxe is already ready. I’m just waiting on them to tell me they’re ready for it.
AllHipHop: Who’s they?
Kenny Muney: You. The fans. Everybody! Whenever y’all ready for it, I’ma drop it.
AllHipHop: You got extra features on there?
Kenny Muney: You’ll have to see.
AllHipHop: Anything else you want to let us know?
Kenny Muney: Time is Muney out right now, run it up. They finally let the right type of person in the door, so run it all the way up! It’s relatable. If you want to get some money, turn it on and you gon’ get you some money. When you get in your car, make sure you turn it on and that’s it!

One of the men asked the crew whether they could break into the venue because “you guys all carry hammers.”
Hammer is a slang term for a gun.
“It was so insulting, but not insulting at the same time because it took us five minutes to fully understand,” Stefani explained, before describing how the encounter began to escalate. “He got to a point of like if the insinuation was lost on us, he got specific and he was like, ‘You guys are Black, you’ve gone to jail and you do things like that.’ Like he kept doubling down on it.”
In addition, Stephen – who is Donald’s brother – recounted how the Atlanta writers were speaking to a woman when one of the men from the group started making offensive allegations.
“She’s talking to us. And then, after a minute, the guy just runs back down the street and grabs her and throws her over his shoulder, and he’s like, ‘Run. They are going to rape you, like, rape you.’ The girl was literally, like, ‘I’m sorry,’ as she’s being taken away. So, it was pretty bad,” continued Stephen, while Donald added: “We are just standing there, like, ‘What just happened?'”

Two additional people have been named in the tragic murder of rapper Young Dolph in Memphis, Tennesse, on November 17th, 2021.
While the suspects, Joshua Taylor and Devin Burns, have been identified by the Memphis Police Department, it is unclear what role either of them allegedly played in the killing, The Sun reports.
According to the MPD, Joshua Taylor is described as 6’6 and weighs 180 pounds. Devin Burns is 5’6 and 135 pounds.
Both men are said to be African American and 26 years old.
Over the last two months, two primary suspects have been brought into custody for the broad-daylight killing of Young Dolph.
In January, they also were charged and plead not guilty to attempted first-degree murder, being convicted felons in possession of a firearm, employment of a firearm during a dangerous felony, and theft of property over $10,000.
Johnson, a rapper himself, dropped two videos. One, titled “Stepped On,” came just days after Dolph’s murder, while another one called “Track Hawk” was released on the same day he turned himself in for the fatal shooting.
Clay County Sheriff Paul Harden said, “On January 11th, Mr. Shundale Barnett was brought to the Clay County Jail by the Indiana State Police from an arrest on I-70. He was booked in the Clay County Jail on an outstanding warrant from Shelby County.
“We held them (Johnson and Barnett), contacted Shelby County, and held him (Barnett) on their warrant, and we were contacted on January 21st, and they told us that they were no longer wanting to come up and pick up Mr. Barnett and that we were to release him at that time.”
Now, Barnett is “on the lam.”
Young Dolph, a trap rapper who talked about drugs, guns, and hustling, was killed in a drive-by shooting outside one of his favorite cookie shops last November.
Several adjectives aptly describe Ye. From benevolent to wrathful, depending on the day, both depictions may absolutely ring true. In fact, it is Kanye West versus everybody. Recently, the esteemed entrepreneur lists a litany of ongoing beefs!
To begin with (on Monday, Feb. 14), a provocative social media post begins to circulate. In fact, an impressive array of both individuals and entities are up for discussion. Ultimately, it seems to eventually snatch the attention of the avant-garde artist.
Kanye Beefs
Taylor Swift | Nike | Kim K | His cousin | Wiz Khalifa | Jay-Z | Kid Cudi | Billie Eilish | Peppa Pig | Pete Davidson | Drake | Ray J | Justin Timberlake | Jimmy Kimmel | South Park | Deadmau5 | Beyoncé | Bruno Mars | J. Cole | Travis Scott | Harriet Tubman
Immediately, the archive organically increases. For example, the account of those under the ire of Mr. West ranges from Taylor Swift to Kris Jenner. However(on Friday, Feb. 19), the “Ultralight Beam” lyricist proves that he definitely has the time and the agility to address the inquiry.
Kanye Beefs
Louis Vuitton | CEO of Zappos | Evel Knievel | Dennis Haysbert | Amber Rose | MTV | Beck | George Bush Jr | ADL | TMZ | American Music Awards | 50 Cent | Kris Jenner
Although, the cultural icon has since deleted the responsive Instagram post, he seemingly still stands upon his sentiment. So, with BIG and brolic keystrokes, Mr. “On Sight” expounds upon the already impressive archive. Straightaway, Yeezus offers a bold declaration.
For example, Kanye West ensures to include everything from Tik Tok to the Devil. Additionally, the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” MC also makes mention of Skete Pete Davidson.
Moreover, the lauded lyricist expresses “Can somebody from Chicago let these people know what Skete meant when was growing up[.] It’s up for everybody!!!!!
This year’s Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show was a huge success for the performers. The NFL and Roc Nation recruited Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, and Anderson .Paak for the mid-game performance.
Dr. Dre and Eminem also saw their respective albums rise up the most recent Billboard 200 chart. Em’s former #1 compilation, Curtain Call: The Hits, rose from #128 to #8 (31,000 units). Dre’s 2001 leaped from #108 to #9 (30,500 units).
Curtain Call returned to the Billboard 200’s Top 10 for the first time since March 2006. The 2005 greatest hits project has remained on the chart for 567 weeks which is the most all-time for a Hip Hop album.
Eminem saw the official on-demand streams for Curtain Call jump 227% from the previous week. The album’s sales experienced a 267% boost following the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show.
2001 peaked at #2 in 1999. Dr. Dre’s second studio LP has stayed on the Billboard 200 chart for 168 weeks. Streams for 2001 were up 168% and album sales were up 323% over the latest tracking period.
Pusha T’s Daytona earned a Best Rap Album nomination at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. A follow-up to that Kanye West-produced project is currently in the works.
According to Pusha T, listeners can expect to hear Jay-Z’s voice on the upcoming LP. The Virginia native sat down with Wallo267 and Gillie The King for an episode of Million Dollaz Worth Of Game to discuss his next body of work.
“I’m gonna say a couple of people who I feel like got some stellar verses on my album,” stated Pusha. He added, “I got three songs with [Jay-Z during my career]. I send him s### ’cause I know he’s gonna say s### that I just can’t say. To me, that’s what be wild impressive.”
Previously, Pusha T and Jay-Z appeared on Kanye West’s “So Appalled” posse cut off 2010’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Jay also contributed a verse to Pusha’s 2016 single titled “Drug Dealers Anonymous.”
Gillie The King specifically asked Pusha T what were his three collaborations with Jay-Z. The Clipse founding member’s answer may have accidentally confirmed another collab with the Roc Nation boss is coming.
“Something for my new album… I don’t even know if I was supposed to say that,” responded Pusha T. If that track does make it onto Pusha’s next collection of tunes it would likely join the recently released “Diet Coke.”
The Million Dollaz Worth Of Game interview also included Pusha T suggesting he out rapped Jay-Z on “Drug Dealers Anonymous.” However, the My Name Is My Name album creator acknowledged the Brooklynite got the best of him on “So Appalled.”
When it comes to Pusha T and Jay-Z’s forthcoming joint effort, Push said Jay “got busy” on the song. That admission led Gillie The King and Wallo267 to declare Hov now leads the head-to-head series two verses to one.
Yesterday, Meek Mill took the time to answer questions from his fans. The Twitter Q&A included one user asking the Philadelphia-bred emcee about his marijuana usage.
“I quit smoking, s### was making me skinny and not eat!!!!” tweeted Meek Mill on Sunday. Another Twitter user replied, “You ain’t smoking weed if it’s making you skinny.”
That comment caused Meek to post, “We [were] smoking [4-gram] blunts and backwoods. I never smoked my whole adult life… I’m not a drug guy ima trapper at heart! And I know how to use my brain to get what I want, drugs [are] not really my thing!”

In addition, one of Meek Mill’s followers asked him to rate the albums in his catalog. The Dream Chasers leader brought up his Grammy-nominated 2018 project as well as his most recent studio LP from 2021.
Meek Mill also told his supporters to be on the lookout for new music on Soundcloud once his contract situation with Atlantic is finalized. The 34-year-old Roc Nation representative later added, “Next month some s### [is] coming.”
When asked to name his idol growing up, Meek Mill mentioned 11-time NBA All-Star Allen Iverson and Hip Hop legend Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter. Iverson played for Meek’s hometown team, the Philadelphia 76ers, for eleven seasons.

Soulja Boy and Kanye “Ye” West are two of the biggest trolls on the internet. Both rappers often use social media to share memes and vent their frustrations.
Apparently, Kanye West took part in another text message exchange with Soulja Boy. This time Ye supposedly told the Atlanta-raised entertainer not to “bring up” his estranged wife Kim Kardashian after Soulja publicly commented on the former couple.
“Or what n####? N#### you lame as f[uck]. I speak on what I want. Go get your b#### back,” Soulja Boy allegedly responded to West, according to SB’s Instagram Stories.
A second IG Story post by Soulja Boy showed Kanye West replied, “I need to send you this stem player. You [were] the first to break YouTube. Need that Donda 2 verse.”
Soulja Boy returned to Instagram to provide an update on his latest back-and-forth with Ye. It appears both men settled their differences and are back on good terms again.
The “Crank That” hitmaker posted:
LISTEN. ME AND YE IS ALL GOOD. JUST A LIL FRIENDLY JOKES AND FUN. DON’T THINK I’M AGAINST HIM. WE SPOKE WE GON FIGURE IT OUT. WE BOTH TWO SMART INDIVIDUALS CHASING OUR DREAMS. WE BOTH ACT LIL CRAZY SOMETIMES BUT WE KNOW WHAT WE DOING. IT’S ALL LOVE NEVER GET IT CONFUSED.
British entrepreneur and music industry icon Jamal Edwards, founder of groundbreaking YouTube channel SBTV, has died at the age of 31.
Brenda Edwards confirmed her son Jamal passed away on Sunday “after a sudden illness” in a statement issued via her T.V show, Loose Women.
“It is with the deepest heartache that I confirm that my beautiful son Jamal Edwards passed away yesterday morning after a sudden illness. Myself, his sister Tanisha, and the rest of his family and friends are completely devastated. He was the centre of our world.”
She asked for privacy for her family while they “grieve this unimaginable loss.”
She concluded, “Jamal was an inspiration to myself and so many. Our love for him lives on. Love live Jamal Edwards MBE, MBA, PHD.”
After the devastating death of Jamal, our thoughts are with Brenda today. She’s sent us this message: pic.twitter.com/EZWH3b5tcX
Jamal was a legend in the U.K rap scene whose impact and importance cannot be overstated. His SBTV YouTube channel played a pivotal role in launching the career of countless U.K artists. Stormzy, Skepta, JME, J Hus, Lady Leshurr, Dave, AJ Tracey, Headie One, and many more started out on the channel. SBTV soon became the go-to online platform, bringing grime and U.K rap to huge audiences.
Jamal was not just a pioneering figure in British rap and grime music, he was also a passionate advocate for mental health awareness. Last November, he worked with Response on a campaign to increase awareness of the rising male suicide rate.
Another recent project spoke to his thirst for innovation as an entrepreneur. 8BARS was a mobile app to support the next generation of talent in the U.K. music industry. He was an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust, a youth charity run by the Prince of Wales helping young people get a start in business.
Tributes have flooded in from fans and music industry peers alike, mourning the tragic loss of the young entrepreneur. AllHipHop.com extends our prayers and condolences to the family of Jamal Edwards during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
