Migos Team With YouTube Originals For Hip Hop Jewelry Docuseries ‘Ice Cold’

“Ice Tray” by Migos member Quavo and fellow Quality Control rapper Lil Yachty has become the unofficial anthem for the Atlanta Hawks and point guard Trae Young’s 2021 playoff run. Migos are continuing their “ice” branding as part of a new partnership with YouTube Originals.

All four episodes of the Ice Cold docuseries about Hip Hop jewelry will premiere on July 8 on Migos’ YouTube Channel. The Atlanta-based rap trio of Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff is also executive producing the program which will explore issues around capitalism, wealth, and racial inequity.

Recording artists J Balvin, Lil Baby, Lil Yachty, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, A$AP Ferg, City Girls, French Montana, Slick Rick, and Talib Kweli will make appearances on Ice Cold. Celebrity jewelers Ben Baller, Eliantte, Johnny Dang, and Icebox are set to turn up on the show as well.

“We all have our own ways of feeling and displaying success,” said director Karam Gill. “This series explores that concept through the story of hip-hop jewelry. It’s a deeper look at the construct of ’The American Dream’ and how Hip Hop has redefined it through jewelry and creative expression.”

Last week, Migos released their third studio album Culture III. The LP features Drake, Cardi B, Polo G, Future, Justin Bieber, Juice Wrld, Pop Smoke, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again. The group’s third Culture project is presently on pace to move around 126,000 first-week units.

Ice Cold is directed by Karam Gill and executive produced by Migos, Kevin “Coach K.” Lee, and Pierre “P” Thomas. The series is co-produced by Quality Films, Universal Music Group’s Mercury Studios and Polygram Entertainment, Mass Appeal, and MGX Creative.

DDG Announces His Retirement From YouTube

Coming off the high of his victory over TikToker Nate Wyatt at the “Social Gloves: Battle of the Platforms” boxing event, DDG is apparently ready to focus on his music career. The Epic recording artist shut down his popular YouTube channel this week.

DDG posted an eight and a half minute video on PontiacMadeDDG VLOGS where he informed his 2.5 million subscribers that he will no longer upload content to the platform. The “Moonwalking In Calabasas” rapper removed all his prior vlogs as well.

“I already told y’all I was quitting YouTube after my fight. The reason is because I really want to lock in and focus on music which is something I’m extremely passionate about. I feel like I have something with music,” said DDG.

The Valedictorian album creator continued, “I feel like I gave so much to this YouTube stuff, and I’ve been doing it for six years. I done showed my life. I want some type of mystery to my life.”

This has been a monumental week for the entertainer born Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. Besides his big win at “Battle Of The Platforms” on June 12, DDG was also selected as one of XXL‘s 2021 Freshman Class members.

DDG was joined by 42 Dugg, Flo Milli, Morray, Pooh Shiesty, Lakeyah, Coi Leray, Toosii, Blxst, and Iann Dior as XXL Freshmen. Rubi Rose, DDG’s on-again/off-again girlfriend, also made the Hip Hop magazine’s coveted cover.

In 2020, “Moonwalking In Calabasas” became DDG’s first Billboard Hot 100 entry. Plus, the single, which also has two separate remixes featuring Blueface and YG, has been certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

“How [the f###] I go Platinum, beat a n#### ass in front of millions of people, quit youtube, and get on XXL Freshman list in the same week? 🤣 🐐,” tweeted DDG on Wednesday. The retired YouTuber is also taking part in the second season of Revolt’s The Crew League basketball tournament.

Lil Durk Associate Wanted By Cops In Connection With Fatal Shootout At Strip Club

In a little over a week after Lil Durk’s little brother Dontay “DThang” Banks was killed, one of their associates, Devinair English, is wanted for aggravated battery to a peace officer.

It is believed that English accidentally shot a cop.

According to court records and the Cook County state’s attorney’s office, English (who was allegedly closer to Banks than the chart-topping rap star) is also wanted for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon in connection to a shooting outside of the popular Chiraq venue Club O inside of the Harvey strip club on June 6.

On Tuesday, June 15, an arrest warrant was issued for English, however, there have been no charges filed.

There have also been no charges filed for Banks’ death either. This case continues to be under investigation.

What detectives did find out about that chaotic evening is that after the club let out, “gunfire erupted throughout the lot.”

The police report noted “Multiple gunshots were ringing out, as patrons fled in all directions.”.

It is alleged that around the same time, two cops spotted a gun on English and tried to take it from him. During this “physical altercation,” one of the police officers was shot in his leg.

English gave his account of the story and said, “We pulled the car around and in the midst of me hopping out and trying to give my cousin his firearm, the police grabbed me.”

Allegedly, the cousin had a license to carry the weapon.

He noted that he and the cops did get into a tussle and it was during that time that DTang was shot and was unaware that a warrant had been issued for the shooting.

DThang’s funeral service was held last week, June 10.

Kodak Black Under Fire For Secretly Recording Broward County Commissioner’s Apology

Just when you thought that troubled rapper Kodak Black was done with criminal activity and scrubbed clean of anything that might land him back in the slammer, he unknowingly committed a crime on social media.

By trying to embarrass a Broward County public official, he ended up with egg on his face.

The “Feeling Myself Today” rapper secretly recorded Commissioner Mark Bogen during a recent phone conversation.

According to the local 7 News affiliate WSVN, the official was calling to share his regrets for not supporting a proclamation slated to honor the rapper’s charity
work.

He took the recording and posted it on his social media, garnishing upward of half a million views on his personal profiles.

Since then, it has been taken down.

Others have screen-grabbed the video and it has gone viral. The video shows the rapper sitting on a stool with two phones, wearing a black jacket, jeans, white sneaks, and a black “Make America Great Again” hat.

Too bad Donald Trump is no longer in office … he could use his help really soon.

The rapper may now be in hot water because, in the state of Florida, it is illegal to tape (film or audio record) someone without their consent.

Under F.S. Title XLVII, 934.03 (e),

A$AP Rocky Feared Trump Would Ruin His Chance To Get Out Of Swedish Prison

A$AP Rocky feared former U.S. leader Donald Trump’s bid to get him out of jail in Sweden in 2019 would lead to more time behind bars.

The rapper was jailed following a street fight and detained during an official investigation, prompting then-President Trump to intervene and demand his immediate release.

Trump assigned his son-in-law Jared Kushner and the U.S. State Department’s top hostage negotiator to take charge of the situation and get Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, out.

“I kinda was scared that Trump was going to f### it up,” the rap star says in the new documentary “Stockholm Syndrome,” which debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. “But then on the other hand, I’m just like, ‘That’s what’s up, man!'”

Recalling the moment he learned he was a free man, thanks in part to Trump, Rocky recalls, “I’m sleeping in my halfway dream. I heard my name. I kind of opened my eyes and closed my eyes again and then they said my name again. And I opened my eyes and I’m like, ‘Yo, what the f###?'”

Trump also appears in the film, revealing he was approached by several leading members of the black community, urging him to help free the rapper.

“It was a chess move and they tried to strong arm a lot,” A$AP Rocky says. “You want the most support you could (get) and it’s like, ‘Oh, the President supports you’. That felt good. ‘Cause for the most part, I don’t think he ever knows what’s going on in the urban communities. I was thankful for that, I can’t lie. I was also scared that it would jeopardize me being in (jail) longer.”

Travis Scott Gets Close To “Wifey” Kylie Jenner Suggesting They Are Back Together

Travis Scott all but confirmed he and Kylie Jenner are back together as he referred to his baby mama as his “wifey” and said he “loved” her in a speech on Tuesday night (June 15).

Earlier this year it was reported that Travis and Kylie were giving their romance another go after splitting two years ago.

The pair – who are parents to three-year-old daughter Stormi – appeared to set the record straight about the nature of their relationship as they put on a cozy display at the 72nd annual Parsons Benefit event in New York.

After posing together for pictures alongside Stormi on the red carpet at The Rooftop at Pier 17, Travis, 29, who was one of organizer The New School’s honorees, paid tribute to his daughter and the Kylie Cosmetics founder in his speech.

“Stormi, I love you and wifey, I love you,” he said on stage.

The event marked the first time Kylie, 23, and Travis have walked the red carpet together since the premiere of the Astroworld hitmaker’s “Look Mom I Can Fly” documentary in August 2019 – two months before it was revealed they were “taking space apart” from their relationship.

And an onlooker claimed the pair were being openly affectionate towards one another at the benefit.

Kylie also posted a picture of herself and Travis on her Instagram page, as the rapper stood behind her with his hands wrapped intimately around her waist, alongside the caption: “24 hours in NYC.”

Ice Cube Handed A Loss To Robinhood On His Birthday; Judge Dismisses Lawsuit – But He Still Has A Chance

Rapper Ice Cube has been defeated in his attempt to sue the financial services app Robinhood.

In March, Ice Cube sued Robinhood for millions, alleging the company stole his catchphrase “Check Yo Self, Before You Wreck Yo Self” and stole his image in an email to their users titled “Why are tech stock falling?”

An image of Cube from the movie “Are We There Yet?” was superimposed in the email with the phrase: “correct yourself before you wreck yourself.”

The rap star/actor argued that Robinhood created the false and deceptive commercial impression that Ice Cube is associated with or endorses Robinhood’s services.

Robinhood responded and demanded the lawsuit be thrown out saying their use of Cube’s image was protected by the 1st Amendment. And a judge has sided with the company and tossed the case.

“The court dismisses the complaint for lack of standing because the plaintiff did not plausibly plead that Robinhood’s use of his identity suggested his endorsement of Robinhood’s products,” according to Judge Laurel Beeler’s ruling.

“Robinhood used Ice Cube’s picture and paraphrase of a line from his song to illustrate an article about market corrections. That illustration does not suggest that the plaintiff endorsed Robinhood (even if Robinhood uses celebrity endorsements (including Nas and Jay-Z) to promote its actual products,” Judge Beeler continued.

Judge Beeler said that he dismissed the case “because [Ice Cube] did not allege how Robinhood’s use of his identity created the misapprehension that the plaintiff sponsored, endorsed, or is affiliated with Robinhood.”

But all is not lost: Ice Cube has 21 days to amend and re-file his lawsuit to prove how using his identity in the newsletter confused people into thinking he endorsed Robinhood.

In our conversation, Rhodes talks about what is special about our culture, Elvis, its connection to “The Christmas Carol” and I”t’s a Wonderful Life,” the difference between being a white savior and ally, and so much more.

Tupac Gets PRIDE Clothing Collection

Things have changed considerably in recent times. As many of you know, it is also pride month and black music month. Some people refer to it as African-American music month. I don’t use that term because I think that the diaspora extends far past America. However, let’s just talk about what’s going on. It seems like in a weird collaborative effort between pride and black music, the folks that now on to parks brand have a pride collection that they have unleashed in the merchandise world.

First things first, I am not sure how 2Pac would feel about his name being marketed in such a way. Honestly, I am not saying that he would or would not: simply that I don’t know. Knowing the truth hug that we grew up with, that brash, not fully formed and unrefined individuals, I am going to venture to say that he probably would not approve of this. That said, it’s still here.

The Internet has not held anything back and giving their opinions on this matter, but I will reserve my opinions. So at this point, whoever has the big Tupac Estate in their business portfolio can do as they please. So far, there has been no mention on how much has been sold from this collection. I would love to know how the LGBTQ generation is Vibin with it. Tupac didn’t exactly speak to their issues back in the day.

Let us continue to celebrate the great Tupac!

50 Cent Blasts Trump Ally Roger Stone For Calling Him Out Over Big Meech Support

It is very unlikely that anyone had conservative political consultant Roger Stone and Hip Hop mogul Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson feuding over Big Meech on their “2021 news bingo card.” That is now a reality after Stone slammed 50 in a video posted to the internet on June 15.

“Hey 50 Cent, I got a beef with you,” says Roger Stone in the 29-second clip. “You’re crowing about Big Meech getting a lousy three years knocked off his sentence. The fact is his co-conspirators, his brother and another man who had the exact same sentence, have already been sprung.”

The convicted felon associated with former President Donald Trump went on to tell 50 Cent, “You ripped Big Meech off. You got $150 million from Starz to make a movie about his life and you paid him s### for his life rights. You’re full of s###. Free Big Meech now!”

Earlier this week, 50 Cent shared a screenshot of an AllHipHop article that reported Black Mafia Family co-founder Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory had his federal prison sentence reduced from 360 months to 324 months. The G-Unit boss also used the Instagram post to promote the forthcoming Black Mafia Family series on the Starz network.

50 Cent got wind of Roger Stone’s comments and responded to the 68-year-old Republican on Instagram. He wrote, “People just looking for attention, clout chasing c### suckers come in all different colors shapes and sizes these days. 🔥BMF COMING SOON 🚦Green Light Gang.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/CQKYRt5Cvrm/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=f40568ff-2762-466f-8b49-6aa738a84141

Starz’s Black Mafia Family will reportedly star Michole Briana White, Ajiona Alexus, Eric Kofi-Abrefa, Myles Truitt, Russell Hornsby, Steve Harris, Abraham “Da’Vinchi” Juste, and Kash Doll. In addition, Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr. was cast to play his father Big Meech in the drama.

Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, and other members of the $270 million drug trafficking organization known as B.M.F. were convicted of various crimes including conspiracy to distribute narcotics and money laundering. Southwest T was released on home confinement in 2020 due to the COVID-19 crisis.

In 2019, Roger Stone was indicted for obstructing an investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 United States presidential election. He was arrested in a highly-publicized pre-dawn FBI raid of his Fort Lauderdale, Florida home.

A jury found Roger Stone guilty of obstruction of a congressional investigation, making false statements to Congress, and tampering with a witness. The self-described “dirty trickster” was sentenced to 40 months in federal prison. However, then-President Donald Trump commuted Stone’s sentence just days before the longtime Trump family advisor was scheduled to report to prison.

Near the end of his one-term presidency, Donald Trump gave Roger Stone, as well as other individuals convicted as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russian interference investigation, a full pardon. The president and his William Barr-led Justice Department were accused of intervening on behalf of Stone and other allies for political reasons.

Roc Nation’s DJ Bodega Flee to Release New Music with Jim Jones, Zoey Dollaz, 42 Dugg, Tory Lanez

Roc Nation’s heavy hitter DJ Bodega Flee is probably best known as one of Florida’s most sought after DJ’s. Having worked at radio stations like 95.7FM (Tampa) 104.5 FM The Beat (Orlando) and 99.1 Jamz (Miami) he has solidified himself as a turntable legend in the Southeast. Now the Harlem born Dominican 30 year old who rose to global fame in Summer 2020 as Tory Lanez popular DJ during his epic “Quarantine Live Radio” is moving back to the Tri State Area and preparing to release new music. The new music will features collaborations with some of today’s hottest artists including Jim Jones, Zoey Dollaz, 42 Dugg, Tory Lanez as well as Latin stars Melii, Rochy Rd, Kiko El Crazy and Chucky 73.

As one third of the lustrous legendary Hip Hop faction, The Heavy Hitters (DJ Enuff, DJ Camilo) Flee has carved out his own niche in the Orange State where he thrives at the intersection of Hip Hop and Latin music. Giving a glimpse into his forthcoming music Flee says “I’m definitely bringing the crossover culture with Hip Hop and Spanish music. I’m Dominican but I grew up in the Bronx which basically explains me and who I am today.” Many of the artists featured on the new project come full circle for Flee who first met Florida rapper Zoey Dollaz when he was attending Barry University in Miami. “Zoey encouraged me to follow my dreams. He told me to make a plan, work hard, and do not give up. I mean, I know this sounds cliché’, but I felt what he said and I carried his words of wisdom with me.” Fast forward a decade and the two of them have linked on the song “Spanish Mami” also featuring Jim Jones.

In May of last year Tory Lanez recruited Flee again to be the DJ during his “Social Distancing Tour” on Youtube so it was only apropos that he called up the Grammy nominated Rapper/Singer to partner on new music. In fact Flee credits Lanez for catapulting him to an echelon where he was noticed by Juan “OG” Perez. Perez signed Flee last year to Roc Nation and says “You’re going to be great just keep tearing up the clubs and stay focused.”  Flee says the sound will be an experimentation with trendy genres like Dirty South and Gangsta but with the bounce of West Coast. He will also release some records in the Dembow genre, which blends Dancehall with his Dominican roots

Discovered by the same legends responsible for presenting the world to today’s legends from across the country like DJ Lobo, Bootleg Kev, and DJ Enuff. Flee has quickly become one of the most notable faces of the brand with his fast-growing fanbase and credible ear for breaking the undeniable next superstars from the South to the East coast. Citing his biggest influences as his mentor Prince Markie Dee (The Fat Boys) Flee says of the legend, “We worked together at B#### Trap on the River in Miami and he taught me the Strip club game, we used to be together every night he was like Batman and I was Robin. He died one day before his birthday, and 2 days before mine.”

Last year, Flee linked with rap mogul 50 Cent who was so impressed with the DJ that he offered him a liquor ambassadorship with his cognac Branson and his champagne Le Chemin du Roi. Currently Flee can be seen spinning at his residency at Miami’s B#### Trap on the River where he’s worked for the past 3 years but plans to expand to new nightclubs in a move back to New York.

For a music aficionado who started out his career at the tender age of 18 promoting parties in NYC and Jersey, DJ Bodega Flee has come a long way to now being embraced into Jay-Z’s The Roc where the mogul recently said, “Welcome to the family, keep up the good work.”

FreakNik Set To Return With Ray J, Lil Scrappy, Adina Howard & More

Freaknik 2021 will likely be much different from the infamous spring break festival in the 1990s. Attendees of the modern-day version, should not expect the sexually explicit function traditionally associated with the Atlanta event.

Morris Brown College is hosting this year’s Freaknik from October 8-10. The line-up of musical performers includes Adina Howard, Project Pat, Lil Scrappy, Ray J, Pastor Troy, JT Money, Paul Wall, 95 South, DJ Unk, Field Mob, and 8Ball & MJG.

Over 50 recording artists are expected to perform at the adult-only, three-day block party taking place on Martin Luther Drive. In addition, Freaknik Festival 2021 will be available for streaming via omnisplayer.com.

The original Freaknik started as a picnic in 1983 for students from the Atlanta University Center which was comprised of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) of Clark Atlanta University, Spelman College, Morehouse College, and Morris Brown College.

After growing to become a city-wide extravaganza in the 1990s that included travelers from across the country, elected officials in Atlanta put an end to Freaknik. The official Freaknik returned to the ATL in 2019 at the Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood with over 18,000 people attending the festival.

Director Slank Slim published The 90’s FreakNik Atlanta Story documentary on YouTube in 2015. The 41-minute film has amassed more than 2 million views on the platform. 90’s FreakNik features appearances by southern-based Hip Hop figures like DJ Jelly, Rodney Carmichael, and Kool Ace.

Meet The Man Behind Sync Licensing for T.V

As the founder and CEO of State Steal Music, Justin Higgins his heart and soul has always had been dedicated to the love of music and TV.  Just like every other teenager, Higgins was yet to find his true passion but little did he know one summer would change everything about him as a person and make him the star that he is today.

Sadly, his father passed away when he was only in his early teens. It was no doubt a depressing time for this young boy. His mother insisted that he spend the summer away from their home in Alabama. Justin’s journey began when he went to stay with his brother who was working on creating music videos in New York City. It wasn’t long before he found himself completely beady-eyed on his older brother’s work and wanted to give it a shot himself.

He managed to get his hands on his first-ever music-related paid internship as a production assistant on the set of the music video for the song “Y’all Can’t Deny It” — a collaboration between rapper Fabolous and Nate Dogg. It would be safe to say that the young man hit a jackpot right off the bat. This is the point in his journey when he realized he had discovered his life’s zeal and fell in love with the idea of making music and entertainment. What a magical, magical moment in his life!

From that time on, Higgins went on to take multiple summer internships in the music industry where he learned everything from top to bottom about the inner workings of some pretty well-known record labels. During these internships, he worked alongside producers that are prominent in the industry which helped him quickly adapt to the environment and the nature of the field he has given his heart to. Although the man has a wide range of the names of eminent producers and record labels penned down on his resume. Background Records – at the time, home to Aaliyah, Timabaland, Magoo and Toni Braxton – and TVT Records prove to be the ones that shine through the most.

For those of you who do not know, the last one on our list was actually the largest independent record label of the entire United States at the time. Several famous artists called this label their home including Lil Jon and The East Side Boyz, Yin Yang Twins, Jackie O, 2.1.3 and who does not know Pitbull? Justin was not just lucky enough to get to wherever he went; it was his talent, skills and curiosity that led him to what he has become today. It must have taken time, patience, courage and a lot of learning but he kept on going every single day; working and trying.

The then aspiring producer from Alabama then packed his bags and left for Atlanta to intern at BME Recordings which was the company owned by Lil Jon. His workplace at the time had Trillville, Lil Scrappy and Crime Mob making hits after hits under the same roof, but this was only until he went to work with the Grammy award winning songwriter and music producer Bryan Michael Cox. As mentioned above, this was not only sheer luck; he was and still is one of the most talented people in the industry because of his hard work and dedication towards his passion. His experiences only added on to the talents he has and gave him a good level of insight he still carries with himself today.

Justin refused to stop just at the internships. Starting out as an ordinary intern, he gradually yet surely became a music business executive; not only that, he also earned himself a big name in the industry. He saw success early on in his career when he signed as a producer in his very own music publishing company and they made a strike on their very first track – the remix of “Ain’t I” by Yung LA, T.I and Young Dro became a top 50 hit in the year 2009. The track spent a good 19 weeks on the Hot Billboard charts, peaking at #47 on US Billboard Hot 100 which is not so bad for his debut as a producer but that is certainly not all. It was at a whopping #7 on the Billboards R&B/Hip Hop Songs Chart. Now that’s what we call doing the most on the very first attempt! How cool is that? Also after the success of this track, he has been acing the latter ones as well.

The man is a firm believer in expanding one’s horizons. For that reason, Higgins did not only excel in the music side of entertainment. He also went on to dig the flag of his success in the television part, going on to engrave his name on the big screens as a state manager and a go-to person for networks such as Netflix, VH1, FOX, TBS, BET, CBS, CMT and MTV. With that, he has shown his skills at high profile events like the VMAs. He really proved he is the jack of all trades when he came up with the solution to the complaints of people about a need for cost effective music scenes for stage performances. That is where State Steal Music Library came into being and saved the day for many events!

State Steal Music Group currently provides urban music for the film, TV and advertising industries. Moreover, it has over 25 composers making innovative music under its name. Justin’s job is to license their creations out on a non-exclusive basis, splitting royalties with producers when their music is synced.  Their placements include WETV, MTV, ESPN and more. Music for content can be downloaded RIGHT NOW from their website with this link: www.statestealmusic.com

Now, he has been a part of both the worlds for over 20 years. He never stopped learning, did not believe in giving up and always gave himself room to grow. At one point, he even merged the best of music and TV together to create something bigger and better when he saw the need. Justin Higgins’s story will always be an inspiration for many. From a regular old teenager working as an intern to a one-of-a-kind business executive, he showed the world that there are endless possibilities out there when you are willing to try. The entrepreneurial spirit within him was always clear, but to go on and actually achieve what he has is something worth talking about!

QAnon Politician Claims She’s Being Harassed By Megan Thee Stallion Fans

Megan The Stallion returned from her hiatus last week with a new music video for her single “Thot S###.” The Aube Perrie-directed visuals open with a white male politician leaving a hate comment on Megan’s YouTube page.

“Stupid regressive w##### should have their mouths washed out with holy water,” writes the self-described senator. As the “Thot S###” MV plays out, the fictional character is constantly surrounded by women twerking in different scenes around the city.

According to TMZ, failed Republican congressional candidate DeAnna Lorraine Tesoriero believes Megan Thee Stallion was targeting her with the “Thot S###” video. She even claimed fans of Thee Stallion and other female rap stars are harassing her via texts, phone calls, e-mails, and Instagram messages.

DeAnna Lorraine took aim at Megan and Cardi B in 2020 by suggesting the two rappers set the female gender back 100 years with their “WAP” collaboration. Lorraine insists she is “trying to help these people” by supporting the censorship of certain recording artists.

Last year, Cardi B got into a Twitter spat with DeAnna Lorraine after the right-wing political commentator tweeted, “America needs far more women like Melania Trump and far less like Cardi B.” The Bronx native fired back, “Didn’t [Melania Trump] used to sell that Wap?”

Later that year, Megan Thee Stallion also addressed DeAnna Lorraine’s comments during an interview with GQ magazine. While she did not refer to Lorraine by name, the Hot Girl Coach had words for pearl-clutching critics of the record-breaking, chart-topping song about wet ass p######.

“Some g###### Republican lady, [was] like, ‘This is a terrible example,'” stated Megan. “And I was like, ‘Girl, you literally had to go to YouTube or to your Apple Music to go listen to this song in its entirety. How are you in your Republican world even finding your way over here to talk about this? You must not have noooo WAP if you’re mad at this song.'”

DeAnna Lorraine’s Twitter account was permanently suspended for “repeated violations of the Twitter Rules.” She was reportedly kicked off the social media platform for posting election misinformation and violent rhetoric such as proposing immigrants would enter America in order to commit violence if Donald Trump was not re-elected president in 2020.

According to multiple outlets, DeAnna Lorraine is also a follower of the baseless QAnon conspiracy theory which alleges a cabal of powerful Satanic pedophiles is running a child sex trafficking ring that can only be stopped by Donald Trump. Lorraine also received significant backlash for questioning if George Floyd’s family was given meth to speak at the 2020 Democratic National Convention.

Paris Jackson Says Paparazzi Caused Her To Suffer From Paranoia & PTSD

The late Michael Jackson was once heavily ridiculed for making his young children wear masks in public. As one of the most famous people on the planet, the King of Pop claimed he was shielding his kids from constant flashing cameras.

Paris Jackson is now speaking out about how being the daughter of a megastar who has been regularly followed by photographers affected her mental health. The 23-year-old actress/model joined fellow second-generation celebrity Willow Smith for an episode of Facebook Watch’s Red Table Talk which premieres on June 16 at noon ET.

“I experience auditory hallucinations sometimes with camera clicks and severe paranoia and have been going to therapy for a lot of things but that included,” said Jackson. “I’ll hear a trash bag rustling and flinch in panic. I think it’s standard PTSD.”

Michael Jackson also had two sons – Michael “Prince” Jackson Jr. and Prince Michael Jackson II (aka Blanket). Debbie Rowe, Michael Jackson’s ex-wife, is the mother of Paris and Micheal Jr. The youngest Jackson scion was reportedly conceived by an unidentified surrogate through artificial insemination.

Following a four-decade career that included winning 13 Grammy Awards and earning 85 million RIAA album certifications, Michael Jackson died in 2009 at the age of 50. Jackson’s legacy is also tied to child sexual abuse allegations. He vehemently denied being an abuser and was never convicted of any crimes.

Many of Michael Jackson’s surviving family members continue to defend the Thriller album creator against accusations from individuals like Wade Robson and James Safechuck who appeared in HBO’s Leaving Neverland documentary. For example, Taj Jackson has been an outspoken defender of his deceased uncle.

“How my uncle was treated and is still treated by the mainstream media is disgusting. Anyone who happily bullied him, kicked him while he was down or stabbed him in the back…The Karma train is not done and will be making plenty of stops along the way. #MichaelJacksonInnocent,” tweeted Taj Jackson on June 13.

Kash Doll Shouts Out “Cevin Durant” After Dispute Over “KD” Moniker

On Tuesday, Kevin Durant put up 49 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists during the Brooklyn Nets’ 114-108 win over the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 5 of the NBA Eastern Conference playoffs.

Detroit-raised rapper Kash Doll shouted out the 11-time NBA All-Star on Twitter. Last night, the Stacked album creator tweeted, “Come on Cevin Durant!!!”

Kash Doll referred to Durant as “Cevin” because the Republic recording artist got into a back-and-forth with him on Twitter earlier this year of the moniker “KD.”

“All these n##### wanna f### KD,” posted Kash Doll in February. Kevin Durant responded, “You did not have to use those initials to get this tweet off… [You] have to relax with the KD talk, your name is KASHDOLL.”

Kash Doll quote-tweeted Kevin Durant and added, “I’m the real KD…. your name Kevin Durant act accordingly ❤️.” Apparently, the Hip Hop performer and the basketball player eventually spoke on the phone.

In April, Kash Doll tweeted, “Y’all I FaceTimed Kevin Durant last night on set while my (black eye and bloody nose make up was on) and told him his fans did that to me [because] of the KD argument 😂😂😂 y’all should’ve seen his face!!! He was so concerned until I started laughing then he hung up 😂😂😂😂.”

Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets are scheduled to face Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinal series on Thursday in Wisconsin’s Fiserv Forum.

Kanye West Reportedly Working On A New Album

Rap star Kanye West is hard at work on new music.

The 44-year-old rapper has been in a recording studio in Honolulu, Hawaii working on new material. While it’s not exactly clear what Kanye is working on, the news of his studio activity was confirmed during a wild deposition in a lawsuit with a company called MyChannel.

AllHipHop broke the news that Kanye West went berserk on MyChannel’s lawyers during a truncated deposition over a $20 million lawsuit with the company.

MyChannel’s legal action claims Kanye broke a contract with them and stole their technology to sell his Sunday Service merchandise.

During a virtual deposition last week, Kanye West cussed out MyChannel’s attorney and put on a Jesus mask, while refusing to answer any questions.

EXCLUSIVE: Kanye West Flips Out During Court-Ordered Deposition And Puts On Jesus Mask

In court filings obtained by AllHipHop MyChannel’s lawyer Ben J. Meiselas claimed he thought Kanye was in California for the deposition, but he was actually in Hawaii.

“Plaintiff’s counsel later learned that West was not in California at all but was in Hawaii with an entourage of unmasked employees and collaborators recording an album,” Meiselas complained to the judge.

The possible news of new music from Kanye will be joyful noise Kanye’s fans.

If it’s true, the music will be Kanye’s first batch of original material since the release of his Grammy Award winning album Jesus Is King in October of 2019.

Kanye’s Sunday Service Choir also released an album in December of 2019 titled Jesus Is Born which snagged a Dove Award for Best Rap/Hip-Hop Album.

As for the MyChannel lawsuit, the company’s lawyers are hoping to sanction Kanye to the tune of $63,000, and have him sit in front of a judge for the next deposition.
