French Montana’s 18-year-old driver was robbed by two men outside of a trendy New York hotel in the Chelsea area at 4:50 a.m. on Sunday morning (June 13).
The thieves assaulted the teenager. At first, the young chauffeur tried to fight them off but to no avail. The robbers, who wore face masks, weren’t going anywhere.
Still, he did not just “let them” rob him. When overwhelming the driver with punches didn’t work, one of the men blasted a warning shot into the ground which ultimately led the driver to choose life over his stuff.
What stuff?
According to reports, the young man was “got” for a $300,000 Richard Mille Watch and a $40,000 gold Cuban link chain. This seems to have been premeditated, assuming that the villains have been marking French Montana’s whereabouts and have been listening to his music.
If they had, they might have heard the lyrics of his newly released single “FWMGAB” that said that his “little chain costs more than your big chain.”
The rapper has been staying at the Dream Hotel, located at 355 West 16th Street. This particular boutique hotel was the site of another recent crime. Thursday morning a 25-year-old man named Byron Morales was shot and killed in front of the hotel as Busta Rhymes partied inside.
This story is developing … but we got it clear … The Dream is really a nightmare.
A$AP Rocky considers himself “truly blessed” to have the support of Rihanna.
The 32-year-old rapper – real name is Rakim Mayers – admitted it is “amazing” to have his girlfriend by his side because it’s so “important” to have people around who want the best for him.
Asked how crucial it is for him to have Rihanna’s support for his new documentary film, “Stockholm Syndrome” – in which she appears – he told “Entertainment Tonight”: “It’s important having that support in real life, you know? It’s amazing and I’m honestly truly blessed, for real.”
The movie – which also features the likes of Naomi Campbell, Tyler the Creator and Kim Kardashian West – documents Rocky’s rise to fame, including his infamous stint in solitary confinement in a Swedish prison in July 2019.
But the “Excuse Me” hitmaker insisted he didn’t want it to be a “pity party.”
“I think making a documentary is all about vulnerability,” he said. “The documentary is all about showing honesty, authenticity, purity. I just wanted to tell my story without really complaining or without, you know, seeming like a victim, or like I wanted a pity party or what not. So, here it is.”
And now Rocky is looking forward to the future, with Rihanna by his side.
“What’s next for me was what I was doing before I went to prison,” he added. “Me and the prettiest muthafucker ever, we breaking headlines and making history with creativity.”
Kodak Black has scored his own day in his native Florida.
Broward County Commissioner Dale Holness presented the rap star with the proclamation on Friday (June 11) at a charity basketball tournament, stating June 11 will forever be known as Kodak Black Day in Broward County.
The honor is a controversial one as Kodak spent much of 2020 behind bars after being charged with falsifying information on federal forms to buy firearms in 2019.
He received a commutation of his sentence from former U.S. leader Donald Trump during his final days in office, in large part because of his charity work.
Kodak has become a charity leader in recent years, donating diapers, underwear and socks to the Jack & Jill Children’s Center and donating thousands of dollars so community groups could provide 1,000 turkeys to people in need.
The proclamation cited Kodak’s contribution of $100,000 to families of fallen FBI agents, along with scholarship money for the children of the agents’ families.
Most often, history is something we just read about. If we are lucky, drawn, filmed or still images accompany those texts and give them some life.
There is no substitute though for hearing stories from those who actually lived them and that is exactly what the most recent students of California State University Northridge have been getting in the Anthropology department.
The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences CIPHER (Center for the Interdisciplinary Pursuit of Hip-Hop Evolution & Research) program were presented a class from January to May that treated students to this phenomenon during its inaugural semester.
Hip-Hop journalist, radio personality, show producer and AllHipHop alumni, Skyy Hook, in her new role as visiting scholar, held her students in rapt attention as she introduced a roster of hip-hop legends, historians and influencers as her class guests over the course of the semester.
Each speaker detailed their knowledge of Hip-Hop’s history and their own contributions in this one-of-a-kind program created by Dr. Searcy for the purpose of helping students explore a culture that is not solely defined by music.
Through these shared experiences, CIPHER students were able to bridge the generational gap between hip-hop’s origins and the world-dominating force it has become. Skyy Hook’s guests ran the gamut from legendary rappers and producers, to radio show producers and journalists; each of whom has made a sizeable contribution to the creation and documentation of the culture of Hip-Hop.
Big Daddy Kane, Pete Rock, Naughty By Nature, Kid from Kid ‘n Play, Kwamè, Special Ed, KXNG Crooked, Sway and King Tech, Rich Nice, Jerry Barrow, Alvin Blanco, Dart Adams, Mr. Mec, DJ Eclipse, Jeff Robinson, Ron Mills, Kelly Jackson, Mr Len and Sean Williams are just some of the incredible people that stepped up to enlighten this first crop of hip-hop anthropology scholars.
“I really wanted to show our younger generations that Hip-Hop of all eras is important,” Skyy Hook, who designed the class explains. “There were some who felt teaching this was a lost cause but my students were absolutely magnificent this semester. The class themselves proved the naysayers wrong. They allowed themselves to approach the topic with an open mind, a willing heart and a desire for knowledge, which is really all I asked of them.
“I simply wanted them to see the people who made the culture of Hip-Hop possible and to understand that without their contributions Hip-Hop couldn’t still exist. I’m so grateful to Dr. Searcy and Dr. Sheld for allowing me the time and space to do it and to Caleb, Abagail and Takiya for helping me look as if it were effortless. I promise you that it was ummm not! (Laughter)”
“We see Hip-Hop classes in various departments but not in Anthropology,” Dean Dr. Yan Searcy, creator of the CIPHER program shares. “It is the perfect placement as the course examines the culture of Hip-Hop and not just the music. The guests who came to the class were the architects of modern Hip-Hop. I am certain that no other university classroom can boast the same occurring in one semester or even a decade for that matter.”
SkyyHook
Skyy Hook was the ideal candidate to spearhead CSUN’s new CIPHER program for Dr. Searcy and bring his vision to life.
Her many years of Hip-Hop journalism for some of the most recognized media brands and experience as a co-host on “The World Famous Wake Up Show” on Shade 45/SiriusXM with King Tech, Sway and DJ Revolution combined with her indomitable passion for the culture of Hip-Hop ensured that the students would receive a thorough understanding of how an urban street music genre grew into a global cultural influence that touches everything from fashion to politics.
“I thank Skyy for creating a vision for the class and then ultimately bridging the gaps between the Hip-Hop culture, communities, generations, and higher education.” said Dean Searcy. “The class fulfills the ultimate goal of CIPHER to provide critical analysis and research of the culture, in order to help uplift Hip-Hop. The class was so popular that colleagues from universities across the nation sat in.”
According to Skyy Hook, “The students created a virtual time capsule to demonstrate what they learned over the course of the semester. It exceeded my wildest dreams for it! Now everyone in future generations at CSUN will be able to see their willingness to absorb awesomeness and then to exude brilliance and I could not be happier! That’s what my students are. Brilliant.”
The story of the Wu-Tang Clan’s early days in New York City was turned into a drama series for the Hulu streaming platform. Season one of the 1990s-set Wu-Tang: An American Saga ended on October 23, 2019.
Wu-Tang: An American Saga co-creator Robert “RZA” Diggs has now provided an update on season two. The rapper/producer spoke to HipHopDX about upcoming new episodes.
“American Saga will start airing in September,” said RZA. “That story will be complete for the season. Then I’m looking to get back in a director’s chair. I feel like that’s important for me to continue to tell our stories through cinema.”
The 51-year-old East Coast representative continued, “That’s going to take some time to develop a new script. But I’m having a great time finishing up the new season of American Saga.”
RZA has directed the feature films The Man with the Iron Fists, Love Beats Rhymes, and Cut Throat City. He is also reportedly taking the directorial helm for the forthcoming movies Blood Brothers and Angel of Dust.
Wu-Tang: An American Saga premiered in 2019 and was renewed by Hulu for a second season in 2020. The Emmy Award-nominated show presents a fictionalized account of how the groundbreaking Hip Hop collective known as the Wu-Tang Clan came together.
The cast of An American Saga season one included Ashton Sanders (RZA), Shameik Moore (Raekwon), Siddiq Saunderson (Ghostface Killah), Dave East (Method Man), TJ Atoms (Ol’ Dirty Bastard), Johnell Xavier Young (GZA), and Joey Bada$$ (Inspectah Deck). Uyoata Udi is reportedly taking on the role of Inspectah Deck for S2.
Wu-Tang: An American Saga was created by RZA and Watchmen writer Alex Tse. Wu-Tang Clan member Clifford “Method Man” Smith is credited as an executive producer along with RZA, Alex Tse, Brian Grazer, and Francie Calfo.
Chris Robinson, Norberto Barba, Darren Grant, Tara Nicole Weyr, Jet Wilkinson, Craig Zisk, Malcolm D. Lee, and Colin Bucksey directed season one episodes of An American Saga. Additional names will oversee new chapters.
“We got some great directors. We got Mario Van Peebles helping out directing, we brought in a few film directors as well,” said RZA in April. “I think it’s going to be a really cool, unique season, and I think people are going to learn a lot about Wu-Tang and about the process of making music.”
Drake fans have been waiting for the Toronto native’s sixth studio album for years. According to the OVO Sound frontman, Certified Lover Boy is actually on the way.
The Ultimate Rap League presented Night of Main Events XI on Saturday, June 12 via the Caffeine app. Drake agreed to make an appearance for URL.
The self-described 6 God was on hand at the showcase to award the Ultimate Madness 3 tournament winner a grand prize of $150,000. The finals came down to Geechi Gotti of California and Rum Nitty of Arizona.
While at NOME XI, Drake took part in an interview conducted by Nunu Nellz and Tsu Surf. That conversation included Drizzy confirming Certified Lover Boy will be out by the end of the summer.
Drake has been discussing his next studio LP since 2019. Last year, the 34-year-old musician announced on Instagram his then-untitled album would be out in summer 2020.
The “Laugh Now Cry Later” single featuring Lil Durk arrived in August of that year. However, the Top 5 hit was never followed up by a full-length project despite several teases.
Drake’s discography consists of Thank Me Later, Take Care, Nothing Was the Same, and Views. 2018’s Scorpion was his last studio album. Since that time, the Grammy-winning recording artist also released the Dark Lane Demo Tapes mixtape in 2020.
Plus, Drake dropped The Best in the World Pack EP in 2019 and the Scary Hours 2 EP in 2021. The latter extended play saw all three of its songs open in the Top 3 of the Billboard Hot 100, making Drake the first act to achieve that milestone.
Two years ago, the Care Package compilation of previously released songs from 2010 and 2016 debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. Care Package became Drake’s ninth No. 1 on the chart.
“Through our partnership with Caffeine and the friendship with Drake, URL has elevated the sport of battle rap,” said URL co-owner Troy “Smack” Mitchell White. “In one year, we shifted the conversation about battle rap from being a backyard-sport that one catches occasionally on YouTube — to a multi-million dollar industry, seen for free in an unprecedented number of homes and has created ancillary businesses that range from media, fashion, cannabis, music, and tech.”
Smack White added, “From the corner of 125th and Adam Clayton Powell Blvd to presidential boardrooms, URL has made moves while still remaining authentic to art. Even our decision to use fresh and hungry artists this year as the driving force of our most preeminent card is evidence that our brand recognizes stars at every stage in their careers.”
Friday, June 11 saw the arrival of two highly-anticipated Hip Hop albums. Culture III by Migos and Hall of Fame by Polo G hit DSPs on the same day.
HitsDailyDouble has crunched the early numbers in order to offer first-week sales estimates for Culture III and Hall of Fame. At the moment, it appears Polo G is on pace to take the top spot on next week’s album chart.
According to HDD, Polo G’s Hall of Fame is projected to start off with 165,000-175,000 units in its opening week of release. Migos’ Culture III is predicted to move 125,000-135,000 units in week one.
If those calculations hold up, Polo G could earn his first #1 album. 2019’s Die a Legend peaked at #6, and 2020’s The Goat peaked at #2. Both albums are certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
A late push could help Migos pull out a first-place finish with Culture III. Quavo, Offset, and Takeover already have two #1 albums in their catalog – 2017’s Platinum-certified Culture and 2018’s 2x-Platinum-certified Culture II.
Hall of Fame arrived one day before Polo G was arrested in Miami-Dade County, Florida on multiple charges including battery on a police officer and resisting arrest with violence. The Chicago-bred rhymer is currently out on bond.
Besides dropping his own body of work last week, Polo G appeared on “Malibu” off Migos’ Culture III. Migos also included Drake, Cardi B, Future, Justin Bieber, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again as well as the late rappers Juice Wrld and Pop Smoke on the album.
The Voice Of The Heroes is currently the most popular album in America. Lil Baby and Lil Durk’s first collaborative project opened at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
With 150,000 first-week units, Baby and Durkbarely beat out Olivia Rodrigo’s former chart-topper Sour which pulled in 143,000 in its second week. The Hip Hop duo collected 198 million on-demand streams (144,000 units) for The Voice Of The Heroes.
The Voice Of The Heroes features a star-studded lineup of contributors. Travis Scott, Meek Mill, Young Thug, and Rod Wave appear on the album. Production was provided by Wheezy, London on da Track, Turbo, Murda Beatz, ATL Jacob, Chi Chi, and more.
NBA All-Star James Harden is credited as an executive producer for Lil Baby and Lil Durk’s joint effort. The Brooklyn Nets guard stated, “[I] can honestly say that I’m a true fan. The initial idea was to get the two together to make a few songs. But with their work ethic and undeniable talent here we are.”
The most recent Billboard 200 chart also includes J. Cole’s The Off-Season slipping from #3 to #4 with 44,000 units. Moneybagg Yo’s A Gangsta’s Pain also dropped one spot to #6 with 38,000 units. The Weeknd’s After Hours remained at #9 with 29,000 units.
One minute, Polo G (born Taurus Bartlett) is celebrating the release of his Hall of Fame album at a party in Miami. Not long after the function, the Chicago-raised rapper was in police custody.
On Saturday, Bartlett was arrested in Miami-Dade County on multiple charges, including battery on a police officer, resisting arrest with violence, and criminal mischief. He was supposedly in a vehicle that was pulled over around 12:30 am.
Authorities claim Polo G got into a scuffle with Officer Brandon Carrero while being detained and threatened to kill the arresting cops. The encounter was reportedly captured on body cameras and surveillance cameras.
1 of the officers told us they was on us since we got Off our Jet…..
Polo G later took to Twitter to release a statement about the situation. On June 13, the 22-year-old entertainer tweeted, “1 of the officers told us they [were] on us since we got off our jet… They [playing] foul in Miami and [that] s### been like that for a minute.”
Apparently, Polo’s 16-year-old brother was at the scene as well. Additional individuals are said to be facing charges such as resisting an officer without violence and disorderly conduct, but the Miami Police Department only acknowledged a male juvenile was involved in the incident.
In addition, Polo G’s mother/manager, Stacia Mac, addressed her son’s arrest. She insisted her children were profiled that night by law enforcement for “driving while Black.”
The Miami Police Department is aware of the incident involving Mr. Taurus Bartlett, also known as Polo G, and another male juvenile. We will provide updates as they become available.
The department has initiated a review of this incident, which will include an examination of all camera footage to ensure adherence to departmental policy and law.
On Saturday, Stacia Mac tweeted, “None of these charges would be possible if the POLICE did not make contact with my son Polo G!!! He was NOT the driver. He was a PASSENGER in a professionally licensed vehicle with security. He was moving [smartly] and correctly. What more could he have done.”
Bartlett was released from the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $19,500 bond. The Capalot leader has been posting on his Instagram Story over the last day. Stacia Mac also shared videos of Polo G on her Instagram page.
Polo G dropped his third studio LP, Hall of Fame, on June 11. The project hosts the Billboard Hot 100 #1 single “Rapstar” as well as “No Return” with the Kid Laroi and Lil Durk, “Gang Gang” with Lil Wayne, “For the Love of New York” with Nicki Minaj, and other tracks.

Young Dolph has one less legal headache to worry about – a copyright infringement lawsuit against him has been dismissed.
In March, Young Dolph, Megan Thee Stallion, and Juicy J. were socked with a lawsuit by a group called Midnight Syndicate.
The group said Dolph”s song “RNB” was a complete rip-off of their song “Nocterm Aeternus.” Midnight Syndicate claimed the track’s producer Juicy J. stole 94% of their song to create “RNB” from Dolph’s album Rich Slave and never paid them a dime.
They sued Young Dolph, Megan Thee Stallion and Juicy J. for millions, but the lawsuit is now a thing of the past. According to court filings, Young Dolph and Midnight Syndicate have reached a settlement over the claims.
The judge presiding over the case dismissed the lawsuit with prejudice last week, meaning the lawsuit cannot be refiled. The terms of the settlement are confidential.
Tekashi69 is mostly known for getting people upset over his antics and maybe a rap or two. We know now that Tekkie isn’t much of a rapper, but the celebrity remains.
It’s already being rumored that Tekashi69 is about to engage in a sport that traditionally has required some sort of fighting ability. Boxing. Now that Jake Paul, Logan Paul, KSI and others have started boxing we now see that there is a atmosphere of entertainment surrounding the sport that you actually cannot play. And it seems like Tekashi69 is now in on the whole thing.
Nobody really knows if this is true, but it does seem like there’s some possibilities there considering Tekashi69 always needs to make money. Unlike some of us, he needs to make money to continue to protect himself and to continue with the lifestyle that he had before he started snitching. So, it looks like he’s taking his marketing talents in the same fashion that Logan Paul and Jake Paul have done. Tekashi was probably the first one to do it in this fashion, even though there were many before him. Attention by any means!
One of the bigger questions in this speculation, is who would he fight. You know and I know Tekashi has a lot of enemies out there, but these fights don’t typically have that sort of hatred in it. Also what kind of insurance with the venue need to have to host a fight between Tekashi69 and somebody else. Him announcing his whereabouts in that fashion only brings a lot of unnecessary bad energy to a location. I would expect somebody to shoot up the whole venue just to get him. I don’t wanna put that in the air, but it just seems like it would be very difficult to cover all the spread in safety if he is fighting.
Rapper and battle rap enthusiast Drake dropped an additional $50K on the SMACK’s Ultimate Madness 3 (UM3) tournament finals. He also dropped news about a new album and shared which battle he would sponsor to see happen.
Saturday, June 12, was the Ultimate Rap League’s NOME XI event, one of the biggest nights in battle rap culture. Hip-Hop pioneer Fab Five Freddy, Freeway, and the youngest professional battle rapper in history Lil Slap were in the building. While there were several stellar contests, including two classic battles for the record books, the league announced the headlining battles on their next Summer Madness XI event: Murda Mook vs. Reed Dollaz and Tsu Surf vs. John John da Don.
The highly anticipated UM3 finals between the Every F**kin’ Bars duo, Compton rapper Geechi Gotti and Arizona’s own Rum Nitty brought a different energy in the room. As Smack made his grand entrance, fans witnessed something that they rarely see, all three owners standing in the front. Immediately afterward, you see the statuesque-redhead-bombshell Nu Nu Nellz appear looking like the culture’s real-life version of Jessica Rabbit. Then Drake pops out.
He needed no introduction, but Smack broke down the brand’s history with the “Nice for What” artist and how their streaming partnership came to be.
“Me and you have been invested in this for a long time … I have been emotionally invested for a long time.” – DRAKE
Drake’s commitment to improving the culture was apparent as Smack detailed various conversations they had, all focused on taking battle rap to the next level and how the culture needed to advance with the mainstream sports and entertainment companies. Caffeine was a perfect model.
But that news was cute for people interested in “Why was Drake there?” and if Caffeine owned URL (which they don’t). The OVO founder knew that and stepped up with stacks and stacks of money, stating while he committed to paying $100K to the winner, he is now upping the ante and throwing an additional $50K in the mix.
$105K for less than 30 minutes of work, battle rap is not the corner boy Hip-Hopping that some remember. This game is big business — and now both members of the EFB group can attest.
Rum Nitty + Geechi Gotti (UM3 finals) at URL NOME XI
The battle was close. The tournament ended abnormally with the fan vote being announced before the judges. There was 1 point separating each opponent, virtually split down the middle in fans’ opinions. After hearing the results Rum Nitty, who gained a slight victory in the poll, announced that there was no need for a vote and that they had already decided to split the money down the middle.
Rum Nitty + Geechi Gotti Compete in the UM3 Finals at URL NOME XI
Trending at one point over everything on Twitter, NOME XI and the UM3 finals proved to be the best show of the weekend.
It is not getting any easier to be R. Kelly. Kellz certainly loved high off the hog for quite some time. The R&B singer has been accused of sexual deviance for as long as I can remember. Well, we all remember that interview he did with Gayle King and, well…we know he should have not done that. There is now one more reason he shouldn’t have done it.
So, lets go through the steps.
According to my sources, R. Kelly has terminated his lawyers for dropping a very big bag. I have not been able to independently verify this. Why would he allegedly drop them though after they have been with him for so very long, presumptively. I have been told that a few things happened.
First of all, R. Kelly’s camp and Gayle King’s team had a financial arrangement that meant big bucks for the Pied Piper of R&B. The only thing is, Kelly did not get the money directly for some reason. My source tells me that there was an intermediary that was supposed to receive the money. And this supposedly was not his lawyer. Well, as the rumor goes: R. KELLY NEVER GOT THE MONEY! And Kellz is p#####! The man is broke broke…AND IN JAIL STILL.
The 54-year old was arrested and incarcerated in Illinois in 2019. He faces charges in three different states, four jurisdictions and has not seen freedom since. He is charged with a rainbow coalition of deviant charges including sexual exploitation, racketeering and filming his sex acts with underaged girls. TF!
So, some people are mad at Gayle King, for actually and allegedly paying this man that has been accused of numerous infractions against young women. But R. Kelly is reportedly mad he didn’t get those ends. I don’t blame him.He made an a$$ of himself in front of the world! He put on a show and the “promotor” took him for his money, allegedly. The one thing I cannot find out is how much he supposedly was supposed to get. I would assume it was for legal defense, but could be for commissary!
What do you think….
The last nugget of the rumor is that MAYBE, JUST MAYBE Gayle King double crossed R. Kelly and found a way not to pay! R. Kelly didn’t get the money! What would make a professional like Gayle King pay “somebody” for monies earmarked for R. Kelly? I am wondering if there is some truth to this! But, the source I have is saying Gayle did her part and has been done with it since their epic interview. R. Kelly might just have to respect the jux. Do another jailhouse interview with Oprah. Have CashApp ready!
The City of Austin is reeling after early morning gunplay interrupted a night of revelry.
Now, law enforcement has revealed they have arrested one of two suspects who shot into a crowd on June 12 and left 14 people injured.
The Austin Police Department released a statement detailing the particulars of the incident. The report says that at 1:24 a.m., officers arrived at the 400 block of E. 6th Street to find mayhem.
The police immediately stepped in, taking six victims to the hospital, while Austin-Travis County EMS carried three of the injured to the hospital.
Five of those injured either drove themselves to the hospital or had someone take them in for medical attention. As of publishing, eleven of the victims were in stable condition. The other two, remain in critical condition.
Investigators are working to bring justice to those assaulted, however, little information has been shared, thus they are basing a lot of their research on surveillance video and other footage from surrounding cameras (possibly from cell phones).
They also believe that this was an isolated incident.
Detectives are asking for tips to be sent to APD Aggravated Assault Unit at 512-974-TIPS. The community is encouraged to use their Crime Stoppers tip line
One of the many charges was for domestic violence after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend in October and November of 2020.
Dex, born Dexter Tiewon Gore, Jr., was originally charged with domestic violence, threatening a domestic partner, exhibiting a firearm, inflicting bodily injury, dissuading a victim from reporting a crime, defacing property, and illegal possession of a firearm.
Dex was eventually released from prison and ended up doing a stint in rehab to get himself together. According to TMZ, during a hearing related to the case, it was revealed Famous Dex had violated a protective order in place.
Dex was immediately taken into custody, and now he is being held on a $200,000 bond. Famous Dex is already pleaded not guilty to all of the charges. He faces up to 18 years in prison if he is found guilty.

But NBA All-Star James Harden wants the world to know that he is not one of those guys tricking to get Saweetie’s attention. The Brooklyn Nets player took to his Instagram Stories to share that the rumors are false.

The message continued, “Leave me out of all the werid (sic) s###. s### trash. Back to my real life.”

Drake is passionate about getting money, rap music and basketball. More specifically, Drake gets passionate about his friends in basketball.
This was evident recently, when the OVO leader got into a back and forth with a ref during LeBron James’ son’s high school.
Drake attended Bronny James’ sophomore season debut with the LA Lakers captain and his teammate Jared Dudley.
Bronny plays for the two-time defending CIF Open Division champion Sierra Canyon Trailblazers, and has the pressure of being a star because … well … you get it.
Many were starstruck as the “God’s Plan” rapper rooted on the sideline and cheered for his “nephew,” but some wished that he kept quiet.
In a video that is going viral on social media, Champagne Papi is schooling the referee on a play that he believed he either called wrong or was being missed. Krysten Peek from Yahoo Sports tweeted, “Drake has a few words for the ref.”
Drake will pop out at another contest on Saturday, June 12.
We will see if he gets crazy with Freeway, Tony Bro, Polo and Minnesota Luke during the finals of the Ultimate Madness 3 tournament at SMACK URL’s NOME XI card.
The partner, who made the connections between the league and the streaming company Caffeine TV, will be present as he puts up $100K to the winners in the Geechi Gotti vs. Rum Nitty battle.
It’s the biggest Ultimate Madness Tournament ever, I ’m putting up $100k to the winner so someone go get that. Starts this Saturday at 12p PT / 3p ET the first round of #UltimateMadness3 for free on @caffeinepic.twitter.com/aY4lizGqTv
A week after his exhibition fight against Logan Paul, Floyd Mayweather shares that his Las Vegas estate was burglarized.
The undefeated boxer took to Instagram and stated that he’ll put up $100K for any news about the robbers.
“One’s home is their sanctuary, place of peace, relaxation, and comfort. When someone violates that sanctuary, it is disturbing and hurtful,” he captioned a post.
He continued, “One of my homes was burglarized in Las Vegas. They stole many valuable handbags and other belongings of substantial value.”

“I am offering at least $100,000.00 reward for information that leads to the return of my belongings. The level of disrespect and greed it takes for someone to do this is unfathomable.”
He ended his post by thanking the community for their support in locating the criminals, “Thank you for to anyone who comes forward with any information. God bless.”
Ironically, the Money Team mogul stated that he actually robbed fans with his last contest against the social media star. During his post-fight interview, Floyd Mayweather said, “When it comes to legalized bank robbing, I’m the best.”

MyChannel has been fighting to get Kanye into court for an in-person deposition, but a judge allowed the rapper to be quizzed virtually, because of the risks still associated with COVID-19.
Earlier this week, MyChannel’s lawyers filed an emergency motion to haul Kanye into court, after he flew off the handle, and went “H-A-M” on MyChannel’s attorney, Michael Popok.
According to court filings under seal – which have been obtained by AllHipHop – Kanye called MyChannel’s lawyer – who is white – “boy” at least 12 times during the heated deposition, which only lasted about 10 minutes until a frustrated Kanye terminated the meeting and walked off.
During those 10 minutes, Ye refused to look at Popok, would not stop playing with his cell phone, and referred to his own “mental genius-ness” while asking the lawyer if he was f###### stupid” and refused to answer any questions.
At one point Kanye told Popok that he was lucky to be deposing the “richest Black man in America and a Black Trump supporter and that he couldn’t be bothered with the deposition because he had lives (and diets) to change.”
Kanye Puts On Jesus Mask During Court Deposition
The deposition went off the rails after Kanye put on a “full-face hood and head covering adorned with Jesus Christ’s image which obscured his face and muffled his voice.”
Despite the protests of MyChannel’s lawyers, Kanye refused to remove the Jesus Christ mask, claiming the legal team did not have the right to see his face.
Kanye was also allegedly heard bragging about how good he was doing obstructing the deposition, and his lawyers refused to do anything about his behavior
In fact, one of his lawyers allegedly co-signed Kanye’s antics and said “that was some crazy s###.”
“West’s bad faith efforts to sabotage the deposition will be viewed by the Court as one of the most outrageous and inappropriate deposition performances it has observed as well,” Ben J. Meiselas, one of MyChannel’s lawyers fumed, noting that the deposition was recorded.
In addition to hauling Kanye into court for a face-to-face deposition next month, MyChannel is seeking to sanction America’s richest Black man to the tune of $63,000.
We’ve all made mistakes, but how you embrace and grow from them is what matters. JR Chip aims to relay this message through his new single “Nobody’s Innocent.”
The music industry is the hub for creativity across any spectrum of emotions. Some focus on philosophy, some women, others fame or money, but JR Chip’s most recent release holds a message within its inspiration. What he unleashed into the world is a track that will simultaneously generate the urge to vibe out but also relate a story everyone can connect with. The track is rightly titled “Nobody’s Innocent.”
As its name, it digs deep into the subconscious to the parts of us that have fallen short of our humanity. It’s deep, provocative, enlightening, a mix of self-reflecting and embracing that, mistakes are a part of life, but it doesn’t define who we are. Few artists are able to tap into that level of musical creativity, but for JR Chip, it’s just another day in his life as a wordsmith and hitmaker.
With his flaming lyricism and versatile flows, he composes a thoughtful track that will highlight that no one is perfect, and we all are guilty of things we’ve done in our life. It induces the body to move, but also encourages the mind to think even after the music stops.
To make sure every aspect of the song was perfect, JR Chip enlisted the production skills of Eli Smith Productions. With one of the most talented on his team, JR Chip’s vocals sound crisp, clean, and fluent to match the futuristic yet modern aesthetic of the Ghana1kbeats curated instrumental. JR Chip first came about the track when he heard a beat from fellow creative, designer, and musical genius Ghana1kbeats.
The rhythm and vibe captured the mind of JR Chip, and he knew that he had to have it. After daily persistence for the track, Ghana1kbeats would send it over, and the rest was history. “Nobody’s Innocent” came together like it was fate waiting to become reality.
JR Chip keeps it honest and real with his new single. It’s sure to bring understanding of not only self, but others. Stream the song “Nobody’s Innocent” and connect with the sound that is, JR Chip.
