Rap fans have been waiting to see a full-out D Smoke concert since he nabbed the winner’s crown on season one of Netflix’s#### show, Rhythm + Flow.

Mixing Spanish with consciousness, street wits with survival skills, and a smash of intellegencia, the Inglewood artist represents a part of Hip-Hop that can trace its ethnomusicological roots to the Soul Aquarian movement of the late 90s and early 2000s, the Native Tongue movement of the late 80s until now and even the great spit-kickers, James Baldwin.

Well, now those who have been hoping and praying for the heat — will soon get it courtesy of concert streaming platform, DREAMSTAGE.

WATCH: Meek Mill’s Artist Tafia Survives Fiery Crash With A Fuel Truck

An aspiring rapper signed to Meek Mill’s record label has cheated death after he was involved in a fiery traffic accident in Miami, Florida early on Thursday.

North Florida native Tafia had been driving his Audi SUV along State Road 112 when he collided with a tractor-trailer, causing it to crash into a concrete barrier wall.

Fuel spilled all over the road and sent the truck up in flames.

The driver was able to escape with only minor burns, while Tafia sustained minor cuts and burns.

The Dream Chasers artist, who signed with Meek last year, was treated at the scene by paramedics and released, according to local news reports.

Police are currently investigating the incident to determine who was at fault.

Lil Wayne, Denise Bidot Show PDA With Romantic Beach Message

Rapper Lil Wayne will be hoping third time’s the charm after giving his on/off romance with model Denise Bidot another shot.

The “Lollipop” hitmaker, real name Dwayne Carter, Jr., took to his Instagram Story timeline to share a captionless video clip of the reunited couple’s beach date.

In the footage, Wayne shows off a heart the curvy model had drawn in the sand, writing, “Denise & Dwayne” in the center.

He then zooms out to show a smiling Bidot kneeling on the beach, as she blows him a kiss.

Wayne previously dumped the beauty in the days leading up to America’s presidential election on November 3rd after he met with Donald Trump and voiced his support for the Republican incumbent.

Bidot made it clear on social media that she was voting for Democratic nominee Joe Biden – the now U.S. President.

They reconciled in late November, but the relationship appeared to hit another snag in January when eagle-eyed fans noticed they had unfollowed one another on social media yet again.

Bidot also fueled the claims by sharing a post which read: “Pretty disappointing when you defend someone throughout everything and they turn out being just as s##### as everyone said they were.”

She didn’t name the person she was referring to, but many were convinced her comments were all about Wayne.

Despite their ups and downs, the pair appears to be giving its love another chance, with Bidot confirming their latest reunion by sharing Wayne’s Instagram Story post on her profile late on Wednesday and writing, “I love you boo.”

R. Kelly Gets New Home – In a New York Jail

Jailed R&B star R. Kelly is to be transferred to a New York prison ahead of his sex crimes trial this summer.

The “I Believe I Can Fly” singer has been behind bars in Chicago, Illinois, where he is facing a potential second trial later this year, since his arrest in 2019.

His trial in Brooklyn federal court was halted due to the COVID pandemic, but now a date has been set for August 9th and Kelly is on the move.

Prosecutors in Brooklyn claim the singer led a ring that helped him recruit women and girls for sex.

He will also be on trial for the sexual exploitation of a child, bribery, kidnapping, forced labor, and enticement.

Kelly has denied the allegations, and according to his lawyer, Steve Greenberg, is looking forward to the trial.

He was not in the courtroom for Thursday’s date hearing but listened in on a jail phone.

The charges against him involve six different victims.

Juelz Santana’s Miami Trip Ruined By Failed Drug Test

Rapper Juelz Santana has been denied a request to travel to Miami, Florida after failing a court-mandated drug test.

The rap star, real name LaRon James, is currently on probation after serving 19 months behind bars for weapons charges following a March, 2018 incident at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey.

He walked free last August but as part of his supervised release, he has to ask for permission anytime he wants to travel outside his home state of New Jersey.

Juelz Santana recently filed a motion seeking permission to fly to Miami for work.

But prosecutors objected, arguing he has not been sticking to the terms of his release, citing a failed drug test, which came back positive for opiates and methadone.

Authorities also claimed Juelz Santana was planning to fly with two convicted felons, another violation of his probation.

As a result, the judge overseeing the case shot down the travel request.

Fyre Festival Attendees Win $2 Million Class-Action Settlement

The 2017 Fyre Festival went from being an über-hyped celebrity-endorsed event to an embarrassing catastrophe to an international punchline to a legal mess. Billy McFarland and Jeffrey “Ja Rule” Atkins’s ill-fated Bahamian extravaganza ended up costing a lot of people money.

Attendees paid thousands of dollars to travel to the island of Great Exuma expecting to party with high-profile social media influencers and fashion models while watching music megastars perform live. Instead, ticket buyers arrived to find cheap cheese sandwiches, soaked disaster relief tents, and canceled flights back home.

As a result of the misleading marketing campaign beforehand and the horrible conditions on the ground, 277 people filed a $2 million class-action lawsuit against organizers of the Fyre Festival. According to reports, a settlement was reached this week.

The deal was struck in the United States bankruptcy court in the Southern District of New York, but the agreement is subject to a vote of approval on May 13. Each plaintiff is said to be receiving $7,220, but the final amount could be reduced because of pending bankruptcy cases involving other creditors.

Multiple other lawsuits over the disastrous private island vacation have been filed across several states as well. In 2018, Seth Crossno and Mark Thompson won $5 million in damages when a North Carolina judge ruled in their favor after Billy McFarland failed to answer the suit.

The Fyre Festival story instantly spread across social media in April 2017 as attendees landed in the Bahamas to discover that McFarland and other planners greatly oversold and underdelivered on what was advertised. McFarland later pleaded guilty to wire fraud and was sentenced to six years in federal prison.

Two years later, Fyre Festival once again entered the pop culture radar when Hulu’s Fyre Fraud and Netflix’s Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened premiered the same week. Both January 2019 documentaries about the botched affair generated enormous buzz and conversation about Fyre.

Ja Rule faced intense criticism for his alleged role in deceiving would-be partygoers. In 2019, The Queens-bred rapper was cleared of legal wrongdoing in a $100 million class-action lawsuit when a New York judge dismissed an appeal filed to add him as a defendant. Ja’s lawyer, Ryan Hayden Smith, told AllHipHop.com, “This ruling is nothing short of a total vindication of Mr. Atkins.”

Listen To DMX’s First Posthumous Verse On “Been to War” With Swizz Beatz & French Montana

It has been a week since the passing of Earl “DMX” Simmons. Thankfully, he left the world tons of music like his classic albums It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot and Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood.

Simmons was said to be working on more records before his death, and the first official posthumous verse by Dark Man X has made its way to the internet. “Been To War” also features X’s longtime collaborator Swizz Beatz as well as French Montana.

The Epic Records release is part of the forthcoming second installment of the Godfather of Harlem soundtrack. Season 2 of the period drama, starring Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker, returns to the EPIX network on April 18.

DMX also appeared on the Godfather of Harlem soundtrack for season one. The Yonkers, New York-raised recording artist contributed to the song “Just in Case” with Swizz Beatz and Rick Ross.

That 2019 collection featured French Montana, Wale, 21 Savage, Pusha T, Dave East, A$AP Ferg, Buddy, Snoh Aalegra, and Jidenna. In addition to “Been to War” arriving today (January 16), Godfather of Harlem also presented the new song “Prince Hakeem” by India Shawn and ADÉ.

While it appears likely that listeners could get even more verses from the late DMX in the future, there is also already talk about possibly creating a biopic about the Hip Hop legend. Mortal Kombat actor Mehcad Brooks was recently asked about playing the “Get at Me Dog” spitter in a movie.

“DMX spoke to me in a way that no other rapper did. DMX was our heavy metal,” said Brooks. He added, “I would be blessed. I would honor his memory in such a way, and I would be honored and humbled. From your lips to God’s ears. We’ll see.”

Earl Simmons was hospitalized on April 2, 2021, after reportedly suffering a heart attack as a result of a drug overdose. He remained on life support for several days before passing away on April 9 at the age of 50.

Swae Lee’s ‘Swae Meets World’ Docuseries Set To Premiere On Snapchat

As one half of Rae Sremmurd, Khalif “Swae Lee” Brown released three studio albums and scored a #1 single (“Black Beatles” featuring Gucci Mane). He also reached the top of the Hot 100 chart with the Post Malone collaboration “Sunflower.”

Swae Lee is now turning his attention to digital documentary-style content. The 27-year-old product of Tupelo, Mississippi is starring in a new Snapchat Originals program called Swae Meets World.

Beginning April 17, the 10-episode docuseries will present new editions every other day on Snapchat’s Discover. Viewers will get to see an intimate look at the life of Swae Lee and those around him.

The five-time Grammy nominee’s family experienced a serious tragedy in recent years. Michael Sullivan, the half-brother of Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi, was charged with felony first-degree murder of his own father.

“There’s a lot of stuff going on in my life that I didn’t even know if I want the world to know,” says Swae Lee in the trailer for Swae Meets World. He is then seen in the video visiting a gravesite.

Swae Meets World will also show Swae’s highs like “Sunflower” earning Diamond certification (10 million units) from the Recording Industry Association of America. Plus, the series presents Swae Lee socializing with his friends and fans.

Snapchat Originals is also home to Jaden Smith’s The Solution Committee series where the actor/rapper covered topics like racism, education, climate change, and voting. Actor/rapper Will Smith, Jaden’s father, has the Will From Home program on Snapchat as well.

Young Thug’s YSL Records Drops ‘Slime Language 2’ Album Featuring Drake, Travis Scott, Lil Baby & More

Back in 2018, Young Thug and his Young Stoner Life label let loose the Slime Language compilation. Thugger recruited several top rap stars for that project.

YSL is back this week with Slime Language 2. The Atlanta-based imprint’s second installment in the series brought together even bigger names for the latest collection.

Travis Scott, Drake, Rowdy Rebel, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Coi Leray, Big Sean, Nav, Skepta, Future, YNW Melly, Sheck Wes, Kid Cudi, and Meek Mill all showed up on Slime Language 2.

Of course, YSL Records representatives like Gunna, Lil Duke, Strick, Lil Keed, and T-Shyne contributed to SL2. Either Young Thug or Gunna are credited as performers on over a dozen tracks.

After Slime Language 2 hit DSPs this morning, Thug’s name became a top trending topic on Twitter. There were a lot of tweets about the Thug, Gunna, and Drake collaboration titled “Solid.”

Thugger and Drizzy have teamed up together on songs several times in the past. Last year, Young Thug was a guest on Drake’s Dark Lane Demo Tapes cut “D4L” along with fellow Atlanta native Future.

Lil Nas X’s Dad Comments On His Mother’s Addiction!

Just when you thought Lil Nas X was not going to be in the rurmor section, he is! But this time we have nothing but positive news. His dad – a rapper – oops, just looks like a rapper, is commenting. He’s speaking on the assertion that Lil Nas X has some control over his mother’s activities in the streets.

If you are NOT in the know, Lil Nas X has a mother who is a drug addict. And I hate to classify her as such, but just listen to me for simplicity’s sake. His mother is addicted to some drug or substance that has her in the street begging for food. And, it doesn’t seem like there’s much they can do to help her. I am sure they will step out a little more now that the world is watching.

At any rate, it does add a different texture to Lil Nas X, and I mean that sincerely. At any rate, it is now his father that is stepping up and commenting about his mother’s condition. And his words are actually reassuring me. His dad is basically giving his son props, for being a good son, and also acknowledge his mother’s situation. That said let the good times roll! No, seriously this totally humanizes the fella beyond a twitter troll or someone chasing clout out at a feverish rate. So, I basically have very little to say other than I hope his mother gets better as soon as possible. And I hope he’s sharing the money with his dad!

Gunfire Erupts During DMX Vigil; Two Shot

Two fans of DMX were shot on Wednesday, April 14, during a candlelight vigil for the recently departed rapper.

The memorial was held at the 4th Street playground in Mt. Vernon and was supposed to be peaceful. However, gunfire in two separate places rang out and disrupted the crowd, striking the attendees, who only wanted to pay their respect to Dark Man X.

After getting shot, one victim found safety and shelter in a News 12 van. Reporter Ty Milburn and his photographer Dan Foley received the bloody victim in their station’s vehicle. They kept him safe there until an ambulance was able to come and take him to the hospital.

Milburn, Foley, and the rest of the team were not allowed to get back into the vehicle because it is now considered a crime scene.

There is no word on why the shooting started, nor how either victim is feeling. Law enforcement is already investigating the crime.

Mayor Shawyn Patterson-Howard was incredibly disappointed that the evening was spoiled by street violence.

She said, “We had a peaceful and unifying event. It is very unfortunate that an hour and a half to two hours after the event ended and not connected to the event that we had shootings.”

Despite growing up in Yonkers, Money Earning Mt. Vernon hosted Wednesday night’s vigil because they also claim the multi-platinum artist as their son, since DMX, real name Earl Simmons, was born in the Westchester County city.

Katrina Simmons was in attendance to celebrate her cousin, who died just last Friday in a White Plains Hospital and got emotional thinking about the tribute (which included prayers, released balloons, and a block party).

She said, “It’s a little overwhelming but I think it’s deserving because he meant so much to do many, and I’m looking at so many pictures and memories that people are sharing and it’s amazing he was able to put out albums and movies and still find the time to individually impact people’s lives.”

Everything was beautiful before things went left.

While there are not any updates on the two victims, shot in two completely separate incidents, both are expected to survive.

Tu Blanco Readies ‘Tu Blanco 4 The Weekend’ Debut EP & Names Top 5

During a time where female rappers are finally getting the shine they deserve, and rightfully so, now more than ever are newcomers being welcomed with open arms.

Tu Blanco, who hails from New Orleans, Louisiana, is here to prove she has what it takes to be one of the greats. With her biggest influences being Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Lil Baby, the rising rapper and songwriter is equipped with gritty bars, hard punchlines, and an aggressive flow that sounds like no other.

With her artist name inspired directly by Griselda Blanco, the drug lord from Columbia, Tu states, “She’s a boss and I’m a boss,” with a laugh.

Entering the game with her debut single “Sit Down,” Tu hopes to motivate the masses with her music and her story. Having gone through her own bouts of depression and struggles with mental health, she writes and creates music to make her feel better — in turn making other people feel better.

AllHipHop: Tu Blanco “4 The Weekend” is your debut EP. How excited are you?

Tu Blanco: I’m really excited for it to come out, it’s going to be fun. It’s going to be a party album and everything. I might have a well-known artist on there, I’m looking forward to working with them. I don’t want to say yet. [laughs]

AllHipHop: You said it’s more of a turn up album, how have you prepared for this moment?

Tu Blanco:I’m in the studio, recording music and shooting videos at the moment. I’m about to record a video this week for two of the songs on the ep. I want to drop visuals with every song.

AllHipHop: How is it recording and shooting visuals during quarantine?

Tu Blanco:It’s pretty cool, quarantine isn’t stopping anything. I can get into the studio and shoot videos all the time, so it’s not a big deal.

AllHipHop: You announced the EP with the new video for “No Hook,” why lead it off with this track?

Tu Blanco:The record’s really fun! It’s a party type of song that we thought would be perfect to lead off the rollout.

AllHipHop: What’s your favorite weekend activity?

Tu Blanco:Watching vampire serious and I love to travel the most, going out of the country. It’s exciting to me to see new things. It gives me new ideas for things I’m doing for music or business.

AllHipHop: What’s your favorite place you’ve gone too?

Tu Blanco:So far, I like P#### Cana. It was really more relaxing. Its a different peaceful feeling. Makes you feel free.

AllHipHop: How would you describe your hometown back home?

Tu Blanco:I think It’s a really good place for tourism. A lot of crazy things going on. Other than that it’s home and that’s where my family is I love it.

AllHipHop: Favorite song to hear in the club?

Tu Blanco:Young Jeezy ft Bankroll “All There” I like to listen to street music in the club.

AllHipHop: Were there any challenges while making the EP?

Tu Blanco:No, not really. It was very easy because it’s what I like to do.

AllHipHop: Talk about your recording process. Do you write, do you freestyle?

Tu Blanco:I write from my notes on my phone. I usually write to 3 beats and make it into one song, because one beat bores me. I like to be creative and write to 3 different beats versus the same beat I’m going to be on.

AllHipHop: What producers do you work with?

Tu Blanco:Right now, I’m working with Mykelonthebeat and AC so far.

AllHipHop: Do you make music alone or do you like to collaborate?

Tu Blanco:I make music alone and with a producer so he can make beats to my liking.

AllHipHop: There are a total of 6 tracks on the record. Favorite tracks and why?

Tu Blanco:I don’t have a favorite. I love them all.

AllHipHop: How have you progressed since your first single?

Tu Blanco:I’ve progressed a lot. I’m way different from the first record. I grew more mentally, physically, work ethic, I’m on a different level now.

AllHipHop: What level do you see yourself?

Tu Blanco:Private jet.

AllHipHop: How would you describe your music to someone who’s never heard it?

Tu Blanco:Aggressive, sassy, but most of all boss talk.

AllHipHop: What does this album mean to your career?

Tu Blanco:It means a lot. This is my first EP so I’m pretty excited about it. This is like a baby I’m having. I’ve never dropped an album or EP before so I’m excited.

AllHipHop: What does it mean to be doing this independently?

Tu Blanco:It means a lot just to see me getting to this point I’m at with no help from anyone.

Tu Blanco:Top 5 right now?

Lil Uzi, Durk, Lil Wayne. Nicki Minaj, and Mulatto.

AllHipHop: What are you most looking forward to in 2021?

Tu Blanco:I’m looking to work with new people, expanding, new opportunities, I’m open.

Rapper-turned-actor Common has landed himself a role in Mindy Kaling’s TV hit “Never Have I Ever” after sharing his love of the show with producers.

The “Selma” star will play celebrity dermatologist Dr. Chris Jackson in season two of the Netflix series, which is partly based on series co-creator Kaling’s upbringing in the Boston, Massachusetts area.

According to Deadline.com, the character was written just for Common after discovering he was a big fan of the coming of age comedy-drama.

Season two is set to debut on the streaming service this summer.

AR-Ab Hit With Four-Decade Prison Sentence For Running Philly Drug Operation

Philadelphia rapper AR-Ab was hit with a long prison sentence today (April 15th), for running a massive drug ring that pumped drugs throughout Philadelphia.

The rapper, born Abdul West, was sentenced to 45 years in prison after he was convicted of charges that included conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, and distribution of or possession with intent to distribute cocaine, crack, and methamphetamine.

The 38-year-old rapper will be 83 when he is finally released from prison.

And even then, AR-Ab will be subject to ten years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay a $5,000 fine.

Prosecutors claimed AR-Ab’s label OBH Records doubled as a drug organization that sold lethal amounts of the drugs from at least March 2017 through June of 2018.

The Feds say AR-Ab used high-end luxury apartments around the city as stash houses, while the OBH record label doubled as a front for his drug operation.

During his trial, the Feds claimed AR-Ab “routinely posted rap videos and other messages on social media in which he communicated threats of violence, and which demonstrated his power and authority within the organization.”

“West and his OBH co-defendants pumped huge quantities of deadly drugs into our community,” said Acting U.S. Attorney Williams. “As the evidence presented at trial showed, the defendant’s violent lyrics weren’t just creative expression, they were truthful depictions of the mayhem OBH created on the streets of Philadelphia. Our Office is determined to continue doing everything we can by being ‘All Hands On Deck’ to get violent criminals like OBH off the streets.”

In total, the feds indicted nine OBH defendants, all of whom will convicted or pled guilty, thanks in part to the government’s star witness, former O.B.H. member Dontez “Tez” Stewart.

Stuart testified against his former associates after he was accused of murdering a rival drug dealer named Robert Johnson.

At one point, AR-Ab was one of the most promising rappers in the city, before he got caught up in the drug case.

He was reportedly going to sign with Drake’s OVO imprint at one point, and he was also rumored to be close to inking with Cash Money Records, although neither deal panned out.

Bobby Brown Admits He Feels Responsible For Son’s Drug Overdose Death

Bobby Brown partly blames himself for exposing his son Bobby Brown Jr. to his own drug use following the 28-year-old’s overdose death last year.

Coroners recently ruled Brown, Jr. died after accidentally ingesting a deadly cocktail of drugs and alcohol on November 18th, when he was found unresponsive at his Los Angeles home, but the singer insists his son wasn’t an addict.

“He wasn’t a user. He would experiment with different things. It wasn’t like he was dependent on drugs like when I was in my situation,” Bobby Brown said on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk show.

Addressing his own history of substance abuse, he said, “I depended (on it), I needed it. He was a young man who tried the wrong stuff and it took him out of here.”

Bobby admits he feels somewhat responsible for his son’s decision to dabble in drugs, because Bobby Brown, Jr. had witnessed his dad high growing up.

“I’ve been through my time, and I know my time played a part in my son feeling he could test something,” Bobby shared of his troubled past. “I feel guilty about that.”

The musician also confessed losing Brown, Jr. was “very unexpected, just like losing” his daughter with the late Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina Brown, who died in 2015, six months after she was found unresponsive in her bathtub, with drugs listed as a contributing factor in her passing.

Despite the latest family tragedy, Bobby has managed to maintain his 19-year sobriety from drugs, while revealing he forced himself to quit alcohol almost a year ago, as his body could no longer handle the abuse.

“My body started shutting down because I was drinking that much. My body was giving out on me…,” he explained. “I couldn’t accept going to the bathroom on myself.”

Eminem’s Real Life Stan Stalked Rapper Before Breaking Into Rap Star’s Detroit Mansion

Last April, Eminem came face-to-face with a real live Stan.

As previously reported by AllHipHop.com, Michael David Hughes, 27, was arrested after breaking into the “Rap God’s” Clinton Township, MI home and threatening to kill him.

Somehow, the man broke into Em’s gated community and was able to get into his bedroom— where the star was sleeping.

New reports revealed during a preliminary hearing about Hughes home invasion, that this was not the first time that Hughes came to one of Eminem’s homes.

Macomb County prosecutors submitted to Macomb County Circuit Judge Edward Servitto that on June 1, 2019, Hughes popped up at Rochester Hills property, a home that was once owned by Slim Shady.

In 2017, Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, sold it. He purchased the property in 2003 for $4.8 million.

The judge was convinced that he is a menace.

Still, Hughes believed he lived there. Apparently, the “homeless” stalker rang the doorbell and asked the current owner if the chart-topper still lived there.

The homeowners said that they had also once found the man sleeping in a guest house.

David Hughes is currently locked up in Macomb County Jail. Due to COVID-19 restrictions in the courthouse, the trial has been pushed until May 21.

Jennifer Lopez Is Single Again; Relationship With Alex Rodriguez Officially Done

They tried to make it work, but Jennifer Lopez and her ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez have called it quits.

Rumors about their breakup emerged earlier this year, however, neither celeb confirmed it to the prying eyes of the media. That is until Thursday, April 15th.

The two, in a prepared joint statement, shared with the Today show that after a two-year engagement the couple known as J-Rod was no more.

“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects,” the statement said.

“We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”

The former Yankee and the pop star/actress started dating in 2017 and immediately became eye candy for the media. Fans will also miss their seemed-to-be perfect coupling.

The statement comes days after another major announcement in Jenny from the Block’s life.

Did Usher & His UshBucks Get Him In Trouble With Some Vegas Gangstas?

This is going to be interesting. R&B singer Usher is all the rage right now, as he has been distributing his own UshBucks all over the place. Now Usher Bucks or UshBucks are basically fake money with Usher’s face on it, but there’s a little bit more to the story.

If you recall about a week ago or so, some strippers claimed that Usher try to pay them in this fake money – that happens to look really official. And people were laughing at the singer, but his PR machine moved quickly through TMZ, stating that he was simply promoting himself. Fast track to current era there are new developments already.

Basically, the OWNER of a Las Vegas nightclub is saying that the strippers from that night were in fact paid in commemorative Usher Bucks. This owner was not on the premises at the time of the party, but he disputed what the club manager previously said, stating that the club manager should have never allowed fake money to be mixed in with real money. They do acknowledge that some of the dancers were paid in real money, but small denominations, not the hundreds that the UshBucks were in. $100s!

On top of that, the club owner says that the liquor that was served and “drunken” last night should at least have been paid for and the ladies should have been tipped for all that free liquor. Apparently they paid for SOME, but it was at a discount. Why does URSH get a discount and I don’t?

LASTLY, it seems like it’s getting a bit gangsta. This is ALL and speculation but it seems like somebody wants the money to be paid to make the club “WHOLE.” And what that means is basically PUT UP or there will be issues later on down the line!

Well, there is a good ending to the story. It seems like Usher is willing to return and “make things right” with the club!

Here is what the owner said:

“I thought it was a joke when I first heard about it,” Sapphire owner Peter Feinstein said in a phone chat Monday. “I guess part of his entourage came in with a briefcase full of these ‘Ushbucks’ and they were passing them around. Now I’m getting all these calls from all these different news outlets interested in what happened.”

I can’t help but…

Minnesota Cop Who Killed Daunte Wright Charged With Second-Degree Manslaughter

Even as the country is in the thick of the Derek Chauvin murder trial, the police-involved killing that took the life of George Floyd, yet in another part of the same town, another Black man has been murdered by a cop.

Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old father of one was shot and killed on Sunday, April 11th in Minneapolis after a random traffic stop by Officer Kimberly Potter of the Brooklyn Center Police department, ironically 10 miles from the courthouse where Chauvin is being tried for Floyd’s death.

Both former officers Potter and Chauvin (the first white cop in Minnesota to be charged for a Black person’s death) are sure to be compared in the media for the shooting death of two African American males.

It took four days for Chauvin to be arrested and charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter, Potter was taken into custody in three days, after days of civil unrest (similarly to the Floyd/Chauvin murder).

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) arrested Potter on Wednesday, April 14th at 11:30 am CST.

However, the arrest was not before she and the current police chief resigned their posts. Potter had already served 26 years on the force.

Potter, a 48-year-old mother, was booked into the Hennepin County Jail and charged with second-degree manslaughter. Should the courts find her guilty, she could serve up to 20-year-old and have a fine of $20,000.

She contends that the death was an accident, stating that she confused her gun for her taser.

But the Wright family’s attorney believes differently; Ben Crump submits that it was an execution.

As this story is developing, the Wright family is planning a funeral and gearing up to pursue justice.
