Swae Lee has teamed up with British rapper Stefflon Don in their first collaboration, “Run Through.”
The track is the dreamchild of Amsterdam-based British creative entrepreneur Jack “The Plug” Edjourian and is set to feature on his upcoming album Plug Talk 2. The project arrives later this month and includes guest appearances from the likes of Fivio Foreign, Berner, Tink and G Herbo, alongside U.K. artists Nines, Tion Wayne and Aitch.
Swae Lee and Stefflon Don joined forces for the “Run Through” visuals, which sees the duo rapping in an abandoned shopping mall surrounded by a crew of gas-masked ballet dancers and BMX riders performing stunts. Check out the “Run Through” video below.
The Plug x Stefflon Don feat Swae Lee – Run Through
Edjourian explained his inspiration behind bringing Swae Lee and Stefflon Don together in a press statement.
“The collaboration was not just about bringing two artists together, but crafting a sound that resonates with listeners, he shared. “This track is undoubtedly one of my top picks from the album. Collaborating with these incredible talents has been a rewarding experience. He also shared his anticipation for the upcoming album. “I’m genuinely thrilled for listeners to dive into ‘Plug Talks 2’,” Edjourian added.
The project follows Edjourian’s U.K. Top 40 album Plug Talk, which included multiple transatlantic collaborations, including “How It Is” featuring Roddy Ricch, Chip and Yxng Bane; “Broken Homes” with Gunna, M Huncho and Nafe Smallz; and “Rich” featuring D-Block Europe and Offset.
Mary J. Blige has again rejected calls to do a Verzuz battle, expressing her disinterest in competing in the series or pitting herself against other artists.
The Queen Of Hip-Hop Soul shut down requests to appear in the popular series that produced some legendary clashes, despite her love for the Verzuz co-founder Swizz Beatz, who created the show with fellow production icon Timbaland during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Let me just say this. I love Swizz,” she explained in a video circulating on social media. “That’s my friend, that’s my brother. That’s my people. I just don’t care about no Verzuz. I don’t wanna be up there. And it’s no disrespect. I just don’t care. Like, I don’t need to say I had the hottest– I know I had some of the hottest records. I know I got a crazy catalog.”
Mary J. Blige also refused to single out a competitor, acknowledging her many talented peers.
“I mean there’s so many people that have great music out there,” she continued. “There’s so many women that have just catalogs, you know. So, I don’t like the putting everybody up against each other. I don’t like it.”
However, Blige insisted if she ever competed in a Verzuz, she could win by playing just one project.
“I could just put my s### on and just walk away,” she added. “I could put the ‘What’s The 411’ album on and just walk away.”
This isn’t the first time Mary J. Blige has had to shut down Verzuz demands. In 2020 she confirmed she watched the battle between Brandy and Monica but is “cool” on taking part herself.
“Mary would kill somebody in Verzuz,” Method Man said during a joint interview with the singer. “She’d kill somebody in Verzuz. She got way too many hits. Can’t nobody keep up.”
Hours after wrapping the final show on her Renaissance Tour Sunday night (October 1), Beyonce shared a trailer announcing her upcoming movie.
The movie, set to hit theaters December 1, documents the superstar songstress’s journey on the Renaissance Tour and her vision for the iconic shows.
“The goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free, and no one is judged. Unique,” Beyoncé explains in the trailer, which includes a montage of behind-the-scenes videos from the tour. “I feel liberated, I have transitioned into a new animal.” Watch the trailer below.
The description of the film on Beyoncé’s YouTube page explains:
“Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé “accentuates the journey of Renaissance World Tour, from its inception, to the opening in Stockholm, Sweden, to the finale in Kansas City, Missouri. It is about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft.”
The description also notes: “Received with extraordinary acclaim, Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour created a sanctuary for freedom, and shared joy, for more than 2.7 million fans.”
Beyoncé also shared the trailer on Instagram, hinting she might give fans something they’ve been asking for.
“Be careful what you ask for, ‘cause I just might comply,” she captioned the trailer.
While fans have clamored for Renaissance visuals since the album dropped in July, Beyoncé has yet to share any videos. During the Louisville, Kentucky tour stop, she responded to a fan who held up a sign asking for the visuals.
“You are the visual, baby!” the 32-time Grammy Award winner declared.
Kanye West trashed Nas’ rapping skills in a rant that saw the G.O.O.D. Music founder going in on Pusha T and Teyana Taylor in a leaked video that surfaced online recently.
In the recording, said to be from around 2018, seemingly leaked from an unreleased documentary, Kanye West is on the phone to “Scooter,” presumably his former manager Scooter Braun. Ye says he wants off of G.O.O.D. Music before claiming the artists he worked with on his “Wyoming Sessions” albums are using him.
“It ain’t going be in this situation,” West begins. “It’s going to be a get me out this muthafuckin G.O.O.D Music s### now. And Scooter, it ain’t going to be no ‘I’m still putting my name on that s###’. I need to get rid of G.O.O.D Music ‘cause I’m great and guess what? Good is the enemy of great.”
Ye then goes on to rant about his Wyoming albums, questioning why he “gave away” the projects.
“What the f### I’m doing giving “Wanna Love You” to f###### Teyana,” he said, seemingly referring to Taylor’s K.T.S.E. album cut “Gonna Love Me,” before asking the same question of former G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha T’s Daytona.
Kanye West continued, complaining that he “gave away” the equivalent of three of his classic My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album, before going in on Nas’ Wyoming project.
“’Cop Shot The Kid,’ Nas rapping all g###### off-beat on it,” West added. “Don’t even wanna shoot a video then shoot the video and don’t even tell me.”
Ye continued, “These muthafuckas don’t appreciate me. All these muthafuckas tryna use me. I’m the greatest muthafucking artist living and I can do everything!”
Watch the clip below.
In another old clip that surfaced online recently, Kanye West branded Cardi B an Illuminati plant who doesn’t write her own raps.
Kanye West called Cardi B an Illuminati plant who doesn’t write her raps in a leaked video that surfaced online recently.
The footage, said to be from around 2018, was seemingly leaked from a documentary featuring Ye on the phone talking about the “Bongos” rapper.
“Cardi B is a plant by the Illuminati,” Kanye West said in the video recording.
“She don’t write her raps,” he said before adding, “She’s just there to sound as ignorant as possible. She’s literally replaced Nicki Minaj purposely. That they put her there, and now she doesn’t know what to do. She has no idea what the f### is going on. She thinks it’s a blessing from the universe, it ain’t no f###### blessing.” Check out the clip below.
However, when Cardi B caught wind of the clip, she shared her own video of Kanye West singing a different tune. She took to X (formerly Twitter) with a clip of Ye talking positively about her during a 2022 interview with Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee.
“I always believed in her since she was on the show. Period,” the G.O.O.D. Music founder said, referencing Cardi’s stint on Love & Hip-Hop: New York.
She captioned her post simply with a red heart emoji.
The Grammy Award winner teamed up with Ye and Lil Durk in the 2022 song “Hot Sh*t.”
“I’m so happy that he gave me this verse. And I had a lot of conversations with Kanye West,” Cardi B explained to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in June 2022. “I learned so much about him, and he’s such an amazing, sweet person. I’ve been feeling like I wish a lot of people [could] have conversations with him so they could just see the real him.”

Benefits of Listening to Music as You Gamble
Music has always been a part of the gambling experience. Research has shown that music can impact our psychological state. No wonder gamblers listen to music to help them focus and increase their winning probability.
Although top bonuses like free spins on registration can make the gambling experience more enjoyable, music can also reduce stress and anxiety. Below are other benefits of using music to promote your casino lifestyle.
Entertainment
Songs that promote the casino lifestyle transport listeners to a world of excitement and luxury. They offer an escape from the day-to-day stress, making the players feel refreshed and preparing them for the much anticipated big win. Popular entertainment songs when gambling include:
ABBA – “The Winner Takes It All”;
Daft Punk – “Get Lucky”;
The O’Jays – “For the Love of Money”.
Cultural Insights
The music spans many areas of life. Some songs go as far as diving deep to give insight into the historical and cultural significance of casinos and gambling. The lyrics reflect how society perceives gambling and what was in vogue when the songs were written.

While listening to songs promoting the casino lifestyle offers a loaded benefit for active casino players, not listening to casino-promoting songs has its downside. The table below summarizes the pros of listening to casino-promoting songs and the cons of not listening:
Benefits
Listening to Casino-Promoting Songs
Not Listening to Casino-Promoting Songs

It provides a sense of excitement
Misses out on the thematic enjoyment offered by such songs

Miss out on these cultural and historical references
Critical thinking
Prompt discussions and debates on the ethics and impact of gambling
Less likely to engage in critical thinking regarding gambling
Cautionary tales
Some songs offer cautionary tales about responsible gambling
Lack of exposure to these reminders about responsible gaming
Cultural connection
Connect with casino culture, particularly relevant for enthusiasts
It may not engage with the cultural aspect of casino gaming
Conclusion
A gambler’s environment can have a significant impact on the way that they feel and perform when playing. As such, gamblers are more certain to perform well and enjoy their game when the environment is comfortable, pleasant, and relaxing.
However, it’s essential to consume such music with a critical mindset, acknowledging the potential downsides of the casino lifestyle as well. It’s all about finding a balance between enjoying the music and recognizing its broader implications
Megan Thee Stallion has launched a mental health resources site called Seize The Awkward.
Following several teasers earlier this week, the 28-year-old rapper has announced that she has launched a new mental health resources website named Seize The Awkward.
Megan took to Instagram on Monday to hint at her latest project. She posted a clip of herself saying, “I’ve always been told, I gotta be strong…”
The post was captioned, “I’m dropping something that can help all of us. Stay tuned, Hotties.” Megan then returned to Instagram to reveal the website and shared a video about opening up.
“I’ve always been told I gotta be strong. Thick skinned. Stiff upper lip. Tough as nails,” she began in the video. “But to be everything for everybody – it wears on you. ‘Black don’t crack’, they say. But it can. I can. We all can.”
The rapper continued, “Y’all, it’s okay to not be okay. Reach out to a friend if you see them going through it. No matter who you are, being vulnerable is what makes us whole.”
The website features videos of Megan discussing a variety of topics, such as being vulnerable.
Additionally, videos on the topic of mental health featuring several stars including Noah Cyrus, Ava Max, Liza Koshy and Tyler Posey can also be found on the website.
Megan already has another mental health website, called Bad B**ches Have Bad Days Too, which features lists of resources, links and phone numbers.
Jay-Z, Michael Rubin, Meek Mill and the REFORM Alliance held a James Bond-themed party at the Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City on September 30 with comedian Kevin Hart acting as its consummate host. The invite-only, black-tie event drew more than 250 VIPs who were interested in supporting the work of REFORM Alliance.
The organization aims to transform the nation’s supervision system for nearly four million people on probation or parole into one that creates pathways to work and wellbeing, rather than a revolving door back to prison. In total, the event raised more than $24 million to support criminal justice reform.
As part of the festivities, guests participated in a blackjack tournament, dinner program and live auction. Attendees included Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Quavo, Jack Harlow, Fabolous, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Fat Joe, French Montana, Ne-Yo and Lil Kim, among many others.
The evening’s final blackjack hand was played onstage and culminated with a $1 million amount being awarded to Andrew Goldberg, managing partner of TAO GROUP, who then announced a $750,000 donation from his winnings back to support REFORM Alliance’s work.
The dinner program also included an onstage discussion between Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast host Wallo and Hart. Guests were then able to bid on unique items donated by Tom Brady, George Condo, Rashid Johnson and Jay-Z. Items included an original George Condo painting which sparked a bidding war between Kim Kardashian and Brady, to a historic timepiece owned by Jay-Z. The auction items alone raised $7.8 million. Following the live auction, guests headed into the after-party at Ocean’s Sportsbook, The Gallery, which featured a full D’USSE bar takeover with specialty cocktails and surprise performances by Travis Scott, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Fat Joe, Lil Durk, Quavo, French Montana, Fabolous and Romeo Santos.
Like countless others, Ice-T learned an arrest had been made in the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur on Friday (September 29). Duane “Keefe D” Davis, a self-identified South Side Compton Crip, was taken into custody by Clark County Nevada authorities and charged with one count of murder with use of a deadly weapon and intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang. Although Davis didn’t pull the trigger, he’s still culpable for the killing per Nevada law. An onslaught of opinions littered social media in the wake of Davis’ arrest. Shakur’s former classmate Jada Pinkett, his sister Sakyiwa and brother Mopreme were among the many addressing the news online.
As Ice-T points out, Davis made one particular mistake over and over again—talking. During a 2018 episode of BET’s Death Row Chronicles, he not only admitted he was in the car when Shakur was shot, but he also double down in his memoir, Compton Street Legend.
“My initial thought was ‘people talk too much,'” Ice-T tells AllHipHop.com. “I think L.A. knew exactly how this thing played out, I just don’t really understand why it took law enforcement so long, because if I say that I’m in a car with somebody that does something, I’m part of the crime. If I go over to your house and ask you for a gun and you give it to me and I go do it, you aided and abetted the crime.
“So my point is that with all the interviews and all the books where dude just happened to say it 100 times on interviews he did: ‘I was in the car’—he said it. No one else said it. He said it. So why? Why? Why would you say that if you didn’t want to get caught? So you know, I got no love for dude. It was a chain of events that should not have ever happened. It’s all out of my realm of understanding.”
Over the years, Davis also revealed the three other people in the white Cadillac with him the night of the Shakur shooting, which included his own nephew Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson, another thing Ice-T found incredulous.
“He names everybody else in the car,” he adds. “And now he’s basically dead—he’s gonna spend the rest of his life in prison all by his own hand. You don’t even need anybody to testify.”
DJ Vlad, who assured Bomb1st in an interview that he refused to cooperate in the Davis investigation, has been under fire numerous times for seemingly getting his interview subjects to self-snitch.
“People right now on the internet are doing some of the dumbest s##t I’ve ever seen,” he says. “Vlad, all those guys, they will ask the most leading questions. I don’t know what the f##k but whatever. People always ask me in interviews if there’s anything I don’t want them to ask—I just won’t answer it.
“Even the crimes I’ve committed—I know I’ve never killed nobody, and there’s a statute of limitation. But I’ve even had some my friends come and be like, ‘You out here telling people what you did and we’re in here saying we didn’t do it, man. Calm down. Like, we’re still trying to get out homie. No disrespect, but bring it down a notch.’ I had to be very cautious. The last thing I wanna do is get somebody in trouble or myself in trouble. F##k that. I’ve never been to prison. I never done none of that stuff. People say it’s not checkers, it’s chess, but they can’t even play chess.”
Shakur was shot multiple times at the intersection of Flamingo and Koval in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996. He died at the University of Nevada Medical Center six days later. His murder has remained one of Hip-Hop’s most infamous unsolved crimes for nearly three decades. During a recent press conference, Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson assured “justice will be served.”
A dispute between rival gangs was identified as the catalyst for a tragic mass shooting that occurred two years ago outside the El Mula Banquet Hall in Miami Gardens.
The motive behind this heinous act was unveiled during the trial of Devonte Barnes, who was charged with three counts of first-degree murder and 21 counts of attempted murder.
The prosecution shed light on a long-standing feud between two rival groups. One set hailed from an apartment complex known as “Back Blues” and their rivals came from an area know as the “Bricks.”
This animosity had been brewing for years prior to the tragic event.
Barnes, during his police interrogation, identified the other individuals allegedly involved in the crime and the motive.
The Bricks were targeting several rappers associated with the Back Blues crew to avenge the death of Antwon Streeter.
The incident took place during a Memorial Day weekend rap concert in 2021, which was further detailed in a news report by AllHipHop.
The concert was an album release party for local artist ABMG Spitta.
As attendees were leaving the venue, gunmen, waiting in a white Nissan Pathfinder, opened fire on the crowd.
The shooters, wearing hoodies and ski masks, used both handguns and semi-automatic rifles to carry out the attack.
The aftermath was devastating, with two individuals losing their lives on the spot and numerous others sustaining injuries, including another person who later died from injuries sustained during the shooting.
Desmond Owens, who was one of the targets, was killed. Two of the other men they were looking for were shot.
Johntrell “JRG Hatchett” Love was hit in the head, but survived the shooting as did the other target Antonio “FoePack” Jones.
Clayton Dillard III and Shankquia Lechelle Peterson both died from their wounds- and they are believed to has been innocent bystanders.
Another man, Warneric Buckner, was charged, but he got off Scott free, after it was revealed Detectives violated his right to an attorney during questioning.
Buckner is currently locked up on one count of second degree murder, after he was charged with shooting and killing a 6-year-old leaving a birthday party in January of 2021.
Barnes, who served as a lookout during the deadly shooting was convicted of three counts of second-degree murder and 20 counts of attempted second-degree murder.
DJ Vlad says he rebuffed numerous requests from law enforcement to cooperate in their investigation into Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who was arrested on Friday (September 29) in connection to 2Pac’s murder. Keefe D has appeared multiple times on VladTV in which he he spoke at length about his involvement in the 1996 slaying. In a new interview with Bomb1st, DJ Vlad fielded multiple questions about the recent development.
“They actually have tried,” he said. “I’ve gotten a bunch of phone calls and emails, but I’m not cooperating. I’ve always held this stance when it comes to people who interview on my platform. I’m not going to have you come to my platform and do an interview then only to work against you with the police. Regardless of what people think that I really do, the reality of what I do…and I had to do this before. I remember this one time they tried to seize this one interview of someone who asked me to take it down the next day because they were fighting a case. At the time, their lawyer asked me to take it down. They then wanted to get the footage from me and I said no.”
DJ Vlad went on to claim he “hasn’t responded’ to numerous requests from law enforcement.
But others would beg to differ. DJ Vlad has been accused of being an informant more than once. Many feel his interviews are more like interrogations and often lead to artists incriminating themselves on camera. In 2008, DJ Vlad sued Rick Ross for allegedly luring him to a meeting and having him viciously beaten. Ross, a so-called “gangsta” rapper, was upset Vlad had revealed he once worked as a jail guard. Vlad wanted $2 million for permanent bodily injuries, plus punitive damages, in his federal lawsuit.
Since then, he’s clashed with numerous rappers, including NLE Choppa and Juelz Santana. As for Keefe D, a grand jury in Clark County has indicted him on one count of murder with use of a deadly weapon and with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang, a prosecutor said in court. Keefe D is the uncle of 2Pac’s suspected killer, Orlando Anderson, who was fatally shot in a drive-by two years after the iconic rapper’s death.
Lizzo has asked a judge to dismiss a “ridiculous” harassment lawsuit filed against her by previous employees.
Court documents revealed the “Juice” singer’s legal team has insisted the case should be dismissed “in it’s entirety.”
The new papers also revealed that Lizzo and her Big Grrrl touring company have denied “each and every allegation” made.
“This is the first step of a legal process in which Lizzo and her team will demonstrate that they have always practiced what they’ve preached,” said a spokesperson for Lizzo’s legal team.
“Whether it comes to promoting body positivity, leading a safe and supportive workplace or protecting individuals from any kind of harassment.
“Any and all claims to the contrary are ridiculous, and we look forward to proving so in a court of law.”
The new documents also insisted “there was no injury, loss or damage” to plaintiffs. Lizzo has requested a trial by jury should the case against her still go ahead.
The 35-year-old Grammy winner was sued for sexual, religious, and racial harassment, disability discrimination, weight shaming, and creating a hostile work environment by Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez.
In the lawsuit, the dancers claimed that they were pressured to touch naked performers at a strip club in Amsterdam. Lizzo has previously branded the allegations “outrageous.”
Lil Tay was the victim of an internet death hoax earlier this year. The viral star, who became famous at 9 years old, is known for her Instagram videos depicting an extravagant rapper lifestyle. She was also associated with Chief Keef and the late XXXTENTACION, who she referred to as a “father figure.” But after Lil Tay’s swift rise to notoriety, she suddenly disappeared for five years until the recent death rumor.
Now 14, Lil Tay is setting the record straight on what she says really happened to her. On Sunday (October 1), Lil Tay became a trending Twitter topic after sharing a video in which she placed the blame on her father, who she claims only came back into her life when she became internet famous.
“Five years ago, I became famous and my abusive, absentee father who had not been in my life for years up ’til that point decided to come back into my life to take control over my career and my money. That’s why I disappeared. He started a court case to silence me so I could not speak on what was happening and so he could take control of my money. His name is Chris Hope. First of all, this man…he was bringing random ass women around all the time and literally hooking up with them in front of me. I was a child.”
Lil Tay went on to accuse her dad of having sex with a woman in the same bed where Tay was sleeping. She also said her dad, who has an “Asian fetish,” would find the women on Craigslist and provided receipts.

Tay then says Hanne Hope, Chris Hope’s current wife and Tay’s stepmother, is a professional scammer. She insists “they were still doing out of pocket sexual sh##” in front of her and watching pornography whenever she was around. Hanne Hope allegedly physical abused Lil Tay as well while her father owes more than $250,000 in child support.
Lil Tay’s Instagram account announced her death on August 9. Several outlets obtained alleged statements from her camp, which claimed her brother had died, too. Roughly 24 hours later, Lil Tay surfaced online and said, “I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I’m completely heartbroken, and struggling to even find the right words to say. It’s been a very traumatizing 24 hours. All day yesterday, I was bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful phone calls from loved ones all while trying to sort out this mess.”
Tay is currently trending on YouTube for her latest video, “Sucker 4 Green,” which has amassed more than 1.6 million views in one day. Watch it below.

She continued, “To get the opportunity to get on stage with the woman that I love, like the woman that is the woman of all the women – I was up there with Beyoncé. Bch that got me fked up.”

Ice Spice has insisted she and Matty Healy returned to good terms following remarks the 1975 frontman made during a podcast.
In an interview with Variety, Ice Spice revealed Matty had apologized to her “a bunch of times.”
“When I had heard that little podcast or whatever, I was so confused,” she told the publication. “Because I heard ‘chubby Chinese lady’ or some s**t like that, and I’m like, ‘Huh? What does that even mean?’ First of all, I’m thick. What do you mean Chinese? What? But then they apologized.”
The star, real name Isis Naija Gaston, confessed that she “didn’t really care” about Matty’s remarks.
“But that’s funny because I saw him at the Jean Paul Gaultier party a couple days ago, and he was like, ‘Hey, you okay?’ and I’m like, ‘Of course,'” Isis explained. “He apologized to me a bunch of times. We’re good.”
Matty faced a public backlash in February after he debated Ice Spice’s ethnicity and mocked the accents of people of Chinese and Hawaiian descent on “The Adam Friedland Show” podcast.
The “About You” singer later publicly apologized to Ice Spice during a New Zealand concert in May, telling the crowd he “never meant to hurt anybody.”
Sean “Diddy” Combs regularly likes to unplug from his devices and go off the grid for the sake of his sanity.
In an interview with Extra, Diddy revealed that he has an “off-the-grid alarm” to ensure he spends time disconnected from his phone.
“It’s a ritual for me now,” he shared. “I have an off-the-grid alarm for my sanity. Just go off the grid and connect and listen to music – that don’t cost you nothing to turn the phone off.”
The 53-year-old explained that he named his new record The Love Album: Off the Grid to give a nod this practice of unplugging from the world and focusing on your loved one.
“(The) Off the Grid (part of the title) is about no WiFi, no phone, just me and you, baby, we going off the grid, we’re going to lock into each other’s vibrations,” he said.
The album marks Diddy’s first solo record in 17 years and features guests such as Justin Bieber, Mary J. Blige, French Montana, and 21 Savage.
When asked why now was the time to release his album, he replied, “It’s something that sort of hits you like boom. It is time. It is time to put on the cape back on. Time to spread the love. Time to lift up the frequency.”
The Love Album: Off the Grid was released on September 15.
A woman accused a financial company of violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act with Snoop Dogg-voiced spam calls. According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Qiana Martin sued Bottom Line Concepts for making unsolicited, prerecorded telemarketing calls without consent.
The calls pitched Employee Retention Credit refunds as an easy source of money for consumers. Martin’s lawyers proposed a potential class action lawsuit, citing examples of other consumers who received the spam calls.
Martin said Bottom Line Concepts most recently called her on August 30. A Snoop Dogg-voiced message was left on her voicemail.

Martin’s legal team claimed she suffered “concrete harm” dealing with the unsolicited calls. They sought damages for invasion of privacy and nuisance. Attorneys said Martin is entitled to a minimum of $500 for each call. They argued for $1,500 per call if Bottom Line Concepts’ actions were “knowing or willful.”
Lawyers said other consumers were entitled to the same amount of damages if the case became a class action lawsuit. Martin also sought an award for attorneys’ fees and costs.

West Coast electro-Hip-Hop pioneer Egyptian Lover and Stones Throw Records’ Sudan Archives have collaborated on a new single called “Freakalizer (The Egyptian Lover Remix).” The track and accompanying video arrived earlier this week and, as the title suggests, came with a healthy dose of 808 beats and funky synths. The song has been a long time in the making. As Egyptian Lover explained to AllHipHop.com, it was initially conceived in 2020 during the pandemic.
“I am friends with Peanut Butter Wolf and he told me about his new artist when he signed her,” Egyptian Lover said. “I invited them down to one of my studio sessions and met her. I offered that I would do a song for her. After about a year she asked if I could still do it, so I created the beat and a few elements, and her and her people hooked it up. I wrote some and she wrote some and then a year later, Peanut Butter Wolf, Brian Ellis and I did the remix for it.
“People really like the mix of our two worlds. We shot part of the video at my 60th birthday party. She even did a surprise performance and rocked it. I’m always glad to work with new artists. I love their energy and creativity. M.I.A. was also a very creative person that I loved working with, and Masarima’s ‘Freak like U’ is doing well. I hope the DJs play both of these songs back to back.”
Egyptian Lover made a seismic impact on the Los Angeles dance scene when he first emerged in the early 1980s. In June, Snoop Dogg invited Egyptian Lover and Newcleus—most famous for their 1984 single “Jam On It”—to perform during a Death Row Records private party at his California compound.
“I played there before,” he told AllHipHop.com at the time. “He’s a big fan. After 40 years it really feels good to still see OGs grooving to my songs. So many older cats at the party came and was talking about the old days and hearing my first songs on the radio and hearing Uncle Jamm’s Army live on the radio. Being one of the first to do it on the West Coast, getting props still to this day is an incredible feeling.”
As he briefly mentioned, Egyptian Lover turned 60 on August 31 and is still touring the world with his timeless catalog. Sudan Archives, meanwhile, released her latest full-length album, Natural Brown Prom Queen, in 2022. She dropped four singles from the project, including “Home Maker,” “Selfish Soul,” “NBPQ (Topless)” and “OMG Britt.”
The Sphere opened in Las Vegas on Friday (September 29) with a performance by Irish rock legends U2. The show kicked off the group’s months-long “residency” at the new state-of-the-art facility. As expected, celebrities and music executives flooded the 20,000-cap dome, including Sir Paul McCartney, Jimmy Iovine, Irving and Jeffery Azoff, Diplo, Breaking Bad actor Bryan Cranston, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.
Snoop Dogg took to Instagram to share a short clip of the immersive experience, which showed the cannabis connoisseur blazing a joint as he watched the show. He accompanied the post with a simple caption that read: “U2.”
The Sphere boasts an enormous amount of amenities, including seats with high speed internet access, a portable stage that can be any size and can come out for movies, nine levels, including the basement, where a VIP club is located, 23 suites, a 16K resolution wraparound LED screen, measuring 160,000 square feet, the largest and highest-resolution LED screen in the world, and 4D features like scent and wind.
The spatial audio system based on Holoplot’s X1 speaker module is comprised of 1,600 X1 speakers that are installed behind the LED panels, along with 300 mobile modules, for a total of 167,000 speaker drivers. The sound system also comes through the floorboards. As for the exterior of the venue, there’s 80,000 square feet of programmable lighting, while The Sphere itself measures 366 feet high and 516 feet wide at its broadest point.
The plan is to host four to six residencies each year. The arena will primarily host awards shows and concerts, in addition to other entertainment events. Though it’s not designed to fit a traditional arena layout for sports such as basketball and hockey, it can host ring sports events such as boxing and mixed martial arts.
U2 inaugurated the Sphere, a revolutionary $2.2 billion venue in Las Vegas, with a mesmerizing performance, marking the start of their three-month residency.

The Chatham County District Attorney is causing more legal headaches for Quando Rondo. As previously reported by AllHipHop.com, the Savannah rapper is currently facing charges connected to several shootings for violating Georgia’s Street Gang Terrorism Act in June.
At the time, a judge granted the recording artist a $100,000 bond so he could continue to work, touring and promoting his music. Now, the DA is working to stop the artist from being able to perform in Chatham County, at least until the trial is complete.
According to WJCL, on Friday (September 29), the prosecution presented a list of times when the “Imperfect Flower” rapper and his group were targeted in shootings.
The state mentioned a recent incident that occurred a few weeks ago on Skidaway Road in which approximately 30 shell casings were found at the scene, and nearly four firearms, including an AR-15 assault rifle, were used in an attack on the artist and a group of people.
Additionally, the state referred to a 2021 incident at a Blackshear gas station. Another incident mentioned by the state occurred in August 2022 when the 24-year-old rapper was in Los Angeles with Saviay’a Robinson, and they had to take cover from gunfire. Unfortunately, Robinson was killed. The DA contends Quando Rondo’s very presence places people in danger.
“These incidents show that there are individuals or groups of individuals that are actively seeking to harm the defendant. The assailants have time and again indicated that they have no respect for the lives of other humans, including members of the Chatham County Community,” the filing reads.
The rapper returns to court at the end of November.
