Drake Says New “For All The Dogs” Single Arrives “This Week”

Drake fans finally got an official release date for his upcoming For All The Dogs album after weeks of false starts, however, they won’t have to wait until next Friday when the album drops for fresh music, as he announced a new single arrives this week.

The O.V.O. founder has been teasing his eight  solo studio LP since day one of his It’s All A Blur tour and so it made sense that his latest announcement came during a tour stop.

Drake surprised fans with the news at the Moody Centre where he was last night (September 11), the first of two shows in Texas.

“I’m even going to say something tonight in Austin, Texas that I haven’t said yet,” Drake told the crowd. “I know y’all excited to hear the album, I know it’s like two weeks out. But I’m going to drop a song for y’all this week.”

“I’m gonna give away one thing for you tonight, because I got a lot of love for Detroit,” he said while on stage in July. “So I’m gonna have to tell you that me and Nicki Minaj did our first song together in, like, a really long time. I got a lot of love for her.”

He made a similar announcement in July, revealing that Bad Bunny will appear on For All The Dogs.

“I wanna tell y’all something because y’all are L.A. and we love you,” Drake told the Inglewood crowd. “It’s been like six years since me and Benito did a song, so we got a song coming for y’all on my album and it’s real.”

When the album failed to materialise last month after being tipped for release on August 25, Nicki Minaj took action.

“Drake, I’m not going to tell you one more time,” she said during an Instagram Live. “The Barbz want the album!’ He can be Champage Papi, I don’t care Papi, The Barbz want the album.”

Big Daddy Kane Explains Why J. Cole Is His “Favorite Emcee Of This Era” With The Help Of “Bill Cosby” Bar

Big Daddy Kane has made no secret about his admiration for J. Cole, noting in the past that he’s his “hero” from the current crop of rappers.

However, in a new interview, the Hip-Hop pioneer explained why he’s such a fan of the Dreamville Records founder, quoting one of Cole’s lyrics and leaving his hosts dumbfounded.

During a recent appearance on Drink Champs, Big Daddy Kane discussed the current state of rap and the debate that lyricism is lacking in modern-day Hip-Hop.

However, Kane disagreed with the suggestion, noting there are a plethora of lyricists among the latest crop of rappers.

“There are a lot of lyrical emcees; you just have to find them,’ he explained. “But at this point in time what’s more important really is a catchy tune.”

He went on to say that today’s lyricists shun “commercial production” over boom bap.

“That’s not what’s really selling or what’s playing on the radio,” he added. “But you do have lyrical emcees that rhyme over that modern style production. Like J Cole.”

Biddy Daddy Kane then hailed Cole as “my favorite emcee of this era.”

Big Daddy Kane Quotes J. Cole

He also gave a nod to Griselda rapper Conway the Machine and Benny The Butcher but insisted Cole is just different.

And Kane is not just a fan of Cole’s album cuts and hit singles’ the OG is also paying attention to his freestyles. When Kendrick Lamar entered the conversation, Big Daddy Kane quoted a bar Cole spat during a 2021 appearance on Power 107’s L.A. Leakers Radio.

“I love Kendrick, but you got to understand, Cole said: ‘No Cosby s### but if they sleepin on me, f### ‘em’.”

Check out the clip below and watch the episode at the end of the page.

In an interview with AllHipHop.com earlier this summer, Big Daddy Kane shared he’s a fan of Cole and others for being “true to lyricism.”

Cardi B Warns Chrisean Rock Not To Ignore Postpartum Depression Signs

Cardi B has shared some advice with new mom Chrisean Rock after the reality TV starlet welcomed her first child earlier this month.

The Hip-Hop superstar has two kids with Offset, who is also a father to 3 other children from a previous relationship, so she has plenty of valuable experience to offer.

While out in New York, she stopped to talk to TMZ, who asked her if she had any advice for her fellow celeb mom. According to Cardi B, Chrisean Rock should be aware of the signs of postpartum depression and take steps to avoid it.

Cardi warned Rock that postpartum depression can be difficult to detect and that life as a new mom can be overwhelming, so take time out for yourself.

“What I would advise is that whenever you start to feel emotional, that means, you might not think it’s postpartum, but it’s postpartum,” Cardi shared. “So when that happens, go outside, take a breather, go drink some coffee, go eat some lunch on your own. When you’re a new mom, the new schedule overwhelms you. So, just do something that calms you down, and that’s peaceful.”

Check out the video below.

CDC research shows that about 1 in 8 women experience symptoms of postpartum depression. They advise mothers to talk to their healthcare provider if experiencing emotional changes or think they may be depressed.

Chrisean Rock gave birth to her son with Blueface, Chrisean Jesus Malone Jr., on September 3, following a tumultuous pregnancy. The former couple have since disagreed on parenting their son, including his name. However, they do seem on one accord regarding his faith.

The “Thotiana” rapper praised his ex for dedicating their son to Christ during a ceremony at her hometown church over the weekend.

Lil Wayne Heads Back To White House Nearly 15 Years After “Swag Surf” Bars—Well, Kinda

Lil Wayne was among the many rap artists invited to Vice President Kamala Harris’ home for a Hip-Hop 50 celebration on Saturday (September 9). While it’s not exactly the White House, it’s the next best thing—at least for the 400 people invited. Lil Wayne pulled up alongside fellow rappers Jeezy, MC Lyte, Common, Fat Joe, Roxanne Shanté, Too $hort, Remy Ma, Slick rick and Doug E. Fresh.

Weezy’s visit comes nearly 15 years after he released “Swag Surf” off No Ceilings (2009) in which he raps, “Quarterback shot gun, you don’t get any sack yards/B###h, I ball hard, breakin’ all the backboards/Pretty boy Floyd step up I will crack yours/And even at the White House we pull up at the back doors.”

MSNBC’s resident Hip-Hop connoisseur, Ari Melber, was quick to make the connection on the latest episode of “The Beat.” On Monday night (September 11), Melber pointed out how Lil Wayne’s visit was a case of life imitating art. He shared a clip of the episode to his Instagram account, adding in the caption, “How does Lil Wayne pull up in Washington?” The post included a clip of Wayne posing with Harris for a photo-op and Melber explaining that Weezy did, in fact, enter the Harris compound through a “special entrance.”

https://www.instagram.com/reel/CxEee1nrgmc/?igshid=MTc4MmM1YmI2Ng%3D%3D

In January 2021, Lil Wayne was famously pardoned by Donald Trump as one of his final acts as president. Wayne, who had pleaded guilty to a federal weapons charge in December 2020, was initially facing up to 10 years in prison. A year prior, federal authorities received an anonymous tip the Cash Money OG was transporting drugs on his private jet.

Once the aircraft landed at Miami-Opa Locak Executive Airport, they performed a search of the plane and discovered a gold-plated Remington 1911, .45-caliber handgun loaded with six rounds of ammunition and a bag containing small amounts of cocaine, ecstasy and oxycodone. U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida charged Wayne, who was convicted of a felony gun charge in 2009, with one count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon.

For awhile, Lil Wayne was all about Trump. In 2020, he seemingly endorsed Trump by meeting with him at the White House and posing for a photo. As Wayne tweeted at the time, “Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus. besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”

But with Trump out and now vying for a comeback—despite all of his legal troubles—how will Lil Wayne move around the 2024 election? Only time will tell. As Melber told AllHipHop.com, “Lil Wayne’s appearance shows either some general bipartisanship—he can go left and right—or the possibility that once he got his pardon from Trump, Weezy now has less use for him.”

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, stayed for the entire Hip-Hop 50 event, which was curated by the Recording Academy’s Black Music Collective and Live Nation Urban. Harris delivered a few words speaking to the importance of Hip-Hop culture.

“Hip-Hop now shapes nearly every aspect of American popular culture, and it reflects the incredible diversity and ingenuity of the American people,” Harris said. “I truly believe Hip-Hop is one of America’s greatest exports.”

RBX Taps Into Death Row Records Controversy With “Lets Ride” Banger

Veteran West Coast rapper RBX, who will be inextricably linked to Dr. Dre’s The Chronic for all eternity, has returned with a video for “Lets Ride,” the second single from his forthcoming album, Hibernation Shivers. With vocal contributions from Sccit and Klientel as well as production by Sccit and Siavash The Grouch, the track harkens back to Hip-Hop’s golden era when G-funk ruled the airwaves.

“Snoopy [Snoop Dogg] done bought Death Row, but it was Sccit and Siavash who inspired me to make music again with the bangers they was bringin’ to the table,” RBX tells AllHipHop. “That authentic energy—none of that phony bullsh##, ya dig?”

As for the video, it’s a relatively straightforward affair, with RBX and posse posted up at various spots around the San Fernando Valley. But it also taps into the controversy surrounding the return of Death Row Records, with a fictional baseball game between Death Row and Labcabin Records ending in an all-out brawl.

“We got nothin’ but the upmost respect for Death Row’s legacy and were initially very happy to see it back in Snoop’s hands,” Sccit explains. “But the fact of the matter is, what the real Hip-Hop heads expected and what’s been coming out from them is night and day. When we first started working with RBX on the album, he was told that Snoop was bringin’ back the original Death Row cast and that there were big plans in store.

“Dogg Pound, Suga Free, Eastsidaz, Lady of Rage as well. They were all said to be droppin’, but we later found that it was all talk when nothing but R&B compilations and different type of stuff was being pushed. We used that as motivation to make some great music on our own terms without all the Hollywood vibes.”

Hibernation Shivers marks the first RBX album since 2007’s Broken Silence. The album boasts appearances by MC Eiht, Project Pat, Spice 1, Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, Ras Kass, Krayzie Bone, Cold 187um, Fatlip. The project is expected to arrive in November. Until then, check out the “Lets Ride” video above.

Common Teases Album With Pete Rock And Reflects On Hip-Hop 50

Common found himself revisiting ‘90s Hip-Hop while working on a new album with Pete Rock. The Grammy-winning artist discussed what music he’s listening to these days and his Pete Rock collaboration during an appearance on MSNBC’s The Beat With Ari Melber on Monday (September 11).

“I’ve been creating a new project,” he told Melber. “I’m working on a new album with Pete Rock. Just the energy of that [’90s] music, whether it’s Brand Nubian, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul—because they just got their music on streaming. It’s been inspiring to hear. But I am creating music right now. I’m in a great space.”

Common also shared his thoughts on Hip-Hop’s 50th anniversary. The actor/rapper described what it was like for him to perform at last month’s Hip-Hop 50 Live at Yankee Stadium show.

“It felt like we could just celebrate the love we have for this culture,” Common said. “And it made me think how much this culture is about that. It’s about celebrating us and also teaches us in the process, at certain times. But it really started as a party. It started as a joyful thing, and we were able to have that for this 50th year.”

Lil Nas X Inspired By His Documentary Premiere Despite Bomb Threat

Lil Nas X was relatively unfazed by a bomb threat at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday (September 9). Long Live Montero co-director Carlos López Estrada recalled the rapper/singer’s reaction to a homophobic caller disrupting the documentary’s premiere in a chat with Indiewire.

“We got to experience in five minutes what the life of Montero is like,” Estrada said. “And at the base of it all, it was this really awful, just horrific thing that you would have someone who disagrees with your worldview … They want to threaten your safety and make you feel scared for your life. That’s like the most horrible thing that a human can do to another. But you look past that and then Montero has this sort of amazing irreverence to him of just being like, ‘Yeah, but how rockstar is that?’”

Estrada marveled at Lil Nas X’s ability to navigate the hectic day at TIFF. The documentary provided inspiration for the pop star, who still managed to hit the studio after the festivities.

“He said he felt inspired and he booked his studio and he went to record,’” Estrada told Indiewire. “This was at 2:00 a.m. and I was just like, ‘What better token of appreciation can we get from our subject, from the coolest artist in the world to say that you made a movie about me. We premiered it together. We did a Q&A. And his reaction to it is, ‘I’m inspired. I’m going to go create more.’ It is like, ‘Oh, we’re good. Whatever happens to the movie next is not up to us. But that’s incredible.’”

Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero is scheduled to be released later this year. The documentary explores his first global tour.

Boosie Badazz Loses Another Instagram Account; Blames Yung Bleu Amid Contract Dispute

Boosie Badazz’s struggle to maintain his Instagram presence continued on Monday (September 11). The Baton Rouge native, who watched several of his accounts get deactivated in recent years, created a new one after his @mamaheliveagain2.0 page was deleted.

“Yung Bleu got my Instagram took,” he said in a video posted on his latest account. “Him and TQ the cable guy, they got my Instagram took.”

Boosie blamed his brother TQ and former protégé Yung Bleu amid their dispute over money. Boosie claimed the two screwed him out of a deal with EMPIRE by forging his signature.

Earlier this month, Yung Bleu bickered with his one-time mentor on social media. Boosie called Yung Bleu “a snake” and reiterated his forgery accusation.

“TELL YO LAWYER R YOU TO POST PAPERWORK WHERE I SIGNED ANYTHING,” he wrote to Yung Bleu on Twitter. “U CAP. LOL R THAT FAKE AS LAWYER TQ GOT YOU THINKING WAS A LAWYER SMH SHOW MS WHERE I SIGNED AT? The Story of 9/11 Hero Sgt. Jason Thomas And How Hollywood Erased Him

There are an infinite number of stories that have come out of September 11, a fateful day 22 years ago that changed the world forever.

Sgt. Jason Thomas is one of those stories. Thomas is an American Marine who gained national recognition for his heroic actions on September 11, 2001. The attack on the World Trade Center in New York City, like most people was supposed to be a typical day for him. He has initially stayed under the radar, however, his story still came to prominence in the years following the attacks as the public learned more about the acts of heroism and selflessness that occurred that day. He has no Twitter or easily found social media. I have looked.

On September 11, 2001, Sgt. Jason Thomas was not on duty but was living in the vicinity of the World Trade Center. He had just dropped off his daughter from school. When he witnessed the first plane crash into the North Tower, he immediately realized the gravity of the situation and felt compelled to take action. Without hesitation, he rushed to the scene to assist in the rescue efforts. He told the Associated Press, “Someone needed help. It didn’t matter who. I didn’t even have a plan. But I have all this training as a Marine, and all I could think was, ‘My city is in need.'”

Thomas, along with another Marine, Staff Sgt. Dave Karnes, spent hours searching through the wreckage and debris for survivors. Their determination and bravery were crucial in helping to locate two Port Authority police officers, John McLoughlin and Will Jimeno, who were trapped beneath the rubble of the collapsed towers. Thomas and Karnes played a vital role in keeping the officers alive and providing them with reassurance until they could be rescued.

Sgt. Jason Thomas’s actions, along with those of many other first responders and volunteers on that fateful day, exemplify the spirit of heroism and selflessness that emerged in the face of adversity. These individuals risked their own lives to save others and provide hope amid the tragedy. Sgt. Thomas’s story serves as a testament to the resilience and courage displayed by countless individuals in the wake of the 9/11 attacks.

It’s important to note that Sgt. Jason Thomas is a real-life hero. He is still alive. His story is just one of many tales of bravery and sacrifice that emerged from the events of September 11, 2001. His actions and the actions of others that day continue to be remembered and honored as part of the collective memory of 9/11.

But, there is another side to this extraordinary tale of valor.

Sgt. Jason Thomas and his fellow Marine, Staff Sgt. Dave Karnes, were portrayed in the 2006 film “World Trade Center,” directed by legendary filmmaker Oliver Stone. This movie is a dramatic retelling of the events of September 11, 2001. It focuses on the experiences of two Port Authority police officers, John McLoughlin and Will Jimeno, who were trapped in the rubble of the World Trade Center and rescued with the help of Thomas and Karnes.

In the film, Staff Sgt. Dave Karnes was portrayed by actor Michael Shannon and Sgt. Jason Thomas was portrayed by actor William Mapother. Mapother is a white man and first cousin to megastar Tom Cruise. The movie aims to capture the heroism and resilience of individuals like Thomas and Karnes, but is a definite act of overt racism in not portraying Thomas as an African American.

The movie’s producer apologized in 2006 after the purported error was discovered, seemingly after the movie began taping. Thomas, acknowledged the “mistake,” and seemed understanding about this oversight. Nevertheless, he emerged to ensure that the accurate story could be conveyed. Understandably, Black people cried foul, expressing concerns and disappointment regarding the error.

Thomas has been called The Lost Hero of 9/11, but we’ll keep telling his story for years to come, along with the others that have selflessly helped make this nation better. They will no longer be washed away or marginalized.

Here is an interview with Sgt. Jason Thomas:

Diddy’s Ex-Bodyguard Claims LAPD Was Behind 2Pac’s Murder

One of Diddy’s former bodyguards accused the Los Angeles Police Department of orchestrating a coverup of Tupac Shakur’s murder. Gene Deal explained why he thought the LAPD was responsible for the late rapper’s death, connecting it to the Biggie Smalls murder in an interview with the Art of Dialogue.

“If Suge says, ‘If you solve one murder, you solve them both,’ I gotta go with the eyewitness,” Gene Deal said. “And I don’t know why would Suge say that when Keefe D says that it was him, Orlando and Dre and them in the car together. But why would Suge say, ‘If you solve one murder, you solve ‘em both.’”

He continued, “I just believe somebody was made to say something. And I hope the Vegas police department do their due diligence and get down to the bottom of it and make the truth come out.”

Tupac was fatally shot in Las Vegas in 1996. Earlier this year, Las Vegas police searched Keefe D’s home in an unexpected development in the murder investigation.

Keefe D’s nephew Orlando Anderson, who died in 1998, was long considered the main suspect in Tupac’s murder. Keefe D previously implicated his nephew, claiming he was in the vehicle with Anderson when the shooting occurred.

Gene Deal suggested Tupac was killed over money. Diddy’s ex-bodyguard believed an audit of Death Row Records led to Tupac’s death and an elaborate coverup of the murder.

“Some people were spending money that they shouldn’t have been spending,” Gene Deal said. “Some people were stealing money that shouldn’t have been stealing, some people had money that they shouldn’t have had. And I think if I heard correctly, Tupac put an audit in two weeks or three weeks prior to his murder and started firing people and trying to figure out where his money was at and where it was going. So now if you been stealing money, and you inside and everything can be connected to you, what are you gon’ do? Get this hothead in a situation.”

Gene Deal insisted Keefe D lied about Anderson shooting Tupac. The murder case officially remains unsolved.

Shanti Das Launches New Podcast, “the mibo show,” In Hip-Hop’s 50th to Promote Mental and Physical Health in the Black Community

In honor of the 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop, Shanti Das, a well-respected figure in the music industry, has unveiled a groundbreaking podcast titled “the mibo show.” This platform tackles the often-overlooked mental and physical health challenges faced by artists in the Hip-Hop industry while harnessing the influential power of the culture to enhance the well-being of people of color.

Das, who has made it her mission to prioritize mental and physical health, hopes that “the mibo show” will serve as a source of inspiration for the Hip-Hop community, encouraging them to make their mental and physical well-being a top priority.

Das has already featured Erick Sermon of EPMD, Darryl McDaniels of Run-D.M.C., Doug E. Fresh, and more. The latest podcast features rap legends MC Lyte and Yo-Yo in a discussion specifically dealing with women’t issues.

The name “the mibo show” itself reflects the show’s core message, derived from the fusion of “mi,” representing the mind, and “bo,” symbolizing the body. By recognizing the intrinsic connection between mental and physical wellness, the podcast aims to empower individuals to adopt a holistic approach to their health.

Throughout the episodes, “the mibo show” delves into a range of health issues that disproportionately affect Black individuals. Each installment features experts from Johnson & Johnson who provide valuable insights, statistics, and resources to listeners. Topics span across mental health, heart disease, diabetes, amputation, stroke prevention, hip replacement, and more.

Das’s personal commitment to promoting mental and physical health originated from her own struggles with depression and suicidal thoughts. After the tragic loss of her best friend to suicide, Das realized the urgency of prioritizing her own well-being.

Reflecting on her journey, Das shared in a statement, “Following my friend’s death and my own suicidal ideation, I soon realized that I needed a change. This change began with much-needed conversations. In the entertainment industry, there was a constant ‘go, go, go’ mentality, leaving little time to pause, reflect, and simply talk, whether about health or anything else. Conversations were lacking back then, but they are imperative now.”

In 2016, Shanti Das founded “Silence the Shame,” a nonprofit organization dedicated to erasing the stigma surrounding mental health. During the challenging COVID-19 pandemic, she continued her advocacy work by hosting health and wellness check-ins on her Instagram Live, which eventually evolved into original YouTube content.

As “the mibo show” continues to gain momentum, it stands as a powerful testament to Shanti Das’s dedication to fostering vital conversations and positive change within the Hip-Hop community and beyond.

G Herbo Says He’s Spent $1 Million On Lawyer Fees Due To Bad Indie Deal He Signed As A Teen

G Herbo appears to be parting ways with his longtime independent label Machine Entertainment Group and is reportedly spending nearly seven figures to navigate his way out of the deal.

According to the “Everything” rapper himself, representatives at Machine— a company co-founded by Joseph “JB” Bowden and Mikkey Halstead—have allegedly been skimming funds from his career earnings for years. In a nearly five-minute-long video shared via Instagram, Herbo addressed the entire situation, remarking on the past decade of his career in the process.

“I’ve been signed to Machine since I was 16-years-old—I was a minor my parents had to sign me up,” Herbo started off. “We been family, independently made history. Boom, at 16, first and foremost I signed my publishing away perpetually for $15,000. But he claim he ain’t know the business—but I was young anyway.”

While Herb went on to clarify that he and his team had previously worked out a deal to get his publishing back and debts reconciled while amending his contract, he says things started to unravel when he allowed Machine to run his business operations—including paying his taxes and bills and maintaining other overhead expenses for the Chicago rapper. Herbo claims he first became aware of the situation after rumors began swirling within his inner circle that he owed a ridiculous sum of money to his label Machine.

“Twelve years later, I been hearing rumors that I owe him money,” Herbo said in part. “Long story short, I go get up with him, ‘Aye bro what’s up with these numbers?,’ We look at the numbers, they wasn’t right.”

From that point on, Herbo claims he and his team held a meeting during which he expressed his desire to both exit and audit his partnership deal with Machine. Apparently, a handwritten contract was also tendered by Herbo. But now, Herb claims he’s been blocked by Machine officials and found out from his legal counsel they are apparently attempting to press charges on him amid the financial dispute.

In 2021, Herbo and Machine inked a massive partnership deal with Republic Records—so it makes sense that it’s going to take a while to navigate through the paperwork outlining the deal. However, Herbo has claimed he has already spent nearly one million dollars through this point of the legal struggle with Machine—which is seemingly just getting started.

Even though he’s seemingly reached his breaking point concerning his dancing doppelganger lookalike, G Herbo might want to attempt to use his likeness to weasel his way out of this situation.

Hitmaka Gets Accused Of “Something Very Bad” By Tink

Tink. What a talented artist. I am pretty sure she is getting more attention now that JUST with her music. She recently went live saying she had to defend herself from Hitmaka. He says he hit her, BUT she threatened to “expose” him if he releases the video. Oh lord! Is that extortion? How did we get here?

Before we do that, let us give the producer his moment.

Hitmaka took to Instagram Live to address the allegations made against him by Tink. Although his response was somewhat ambiguous, it all appeared to center around their partnership. It seems to be a t########### that was laced with financial disputes and a physical altercation. Hitmaka stressed he had no intention of sharing any alleged footage of the incident, but I also think her threat kept him in check. “I don’t even know what that girl is talking about,” he said. Hitmaka disclosed that he had not spoken to the rapper in approximately ten months, which makes for a weird dynamic. Why is this happening NOW, why have their been no charged filed and why are we seeing this in our faces on a easy-going Sunday?

Hitmaka did hint at taking legal action, but he did not state explicitly that Tink was his target. He emphasized that he did not wish to “speak ill” of her and still had love for her. AND YET he insisted that she would face consequences for her recent moves. I do not know a lot about Hit or Tink, but apparently she had been warned about him. In the comments, there seem to be some concern with him. Again, I do not know enough about it to say.

These two are from the same city – SAD. I hope they fix it or just stay away from each other. I do not want to see Tink like that ever again.

Offset Vows To Keep Michael Jackson Tattoo Despite Cardi B’s Oral Sex Story

Hip-Hop couple Offset and Cardi B are not shy about sharing some of their intimate business with the world. A clip from a recent interview with Cardi made the rounds on the internet because of remarks she made about her husband’s body art.

“I really need y’all to see the Michael Jackson tattoo he got on his stomach,” said Cardi B during a sitdown with Hot 97. “I don’t even want to take it there. I will take it there, but it’s just like, y’all really have to see it.”

The Invasion of Privacy album creator continued, “Because every single time I [imitates performing oral sex], it just be looking at me. I swear to God… You gotta see that tattoo. The tattoo really be looking at me like, ‘Yeah.'”

Latto Claps Back At Troll Accusing Her Of Doing “Coke Nose Move”

Latto is not afraid to respond to her critics on social media. This week saw the Georgia native share some choice words for a troll on X.

“She [keeps] doing that same lame ass coke nose move. Pack that s### up. She just starting to be corny to me. I [used] to like her [for real, for real],” posted an X user in reaction to footage of Latto rapping her “Put It on da Floor” lyrics.

In response, Latto checked the person for assuming that her hand gesture had a drug-related meaning. She did not clarify exactly what the nose swipe meant. However, the RCA recording artist clapped back, “😂😂😂No way y’all think that means coke.”

Latto found herself entangled in a very public feud with Nicki Minaj in 2022. Many observers believe the 2023 single “Put It on da Floor” contains disses (“She thought I would kiss her ass, she must ain’t took her meds”) directed at Minaj.

Additionally, some fans believed that Latto also took a shot at Nicki Minaj on “It’s Givin.” At one point in the song off 2022’s 777 studio album, the 24-year-old rhymer raps, “It’s givin’ Coke, bottle body, wanna hit it like some dope.”

In the midst of the heated back-and-forth between Latto and Nicki Minaj last year, #ItsGivinCoke began trending on Twitter. Latto then reiterated the coke line on her “Smoking on My Ex Pack (Freestyle)” which came out in January 2023.

Meanwhile, Latto heads into the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards on September 12 with a Song of Summer nomination for her appearance on “Seven” by Jungkook. Nicki Minaj is set to host this year’s VMAs from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Gunna Shows Support For Young Thug During NYC Concert

Earlier this year, Gunna (born Sergio Kitchens) announced two headlining appearances in New York City and Los Angeles. “The Gift” portion of the concert series took place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on September 9.

Gunna’s return to the stage came after the A Gift & a Curse album creator pleaded guilty to a racketeering charge in the state of Georgia. His YSL label boss, Young Thug (born Jeffery Williams), still remains in jail awaiting trial for the same RICO case.

Many online commenters, including Boosie Badazz, accused Gunna of turning on Young Thug by supposedly cooperating with the prosecution. However, the 30-year-old rapper denied snitching on his musical comrade.

Gunna even showed love to Young Thug during his Barclays Center show. At one point, the words “Free Jeffery” appear on the screen during the performance. Footage of the shout-out spread across social media.
