50 Cent couldn’t wait to share his reaction after Rick Ross and his crew got into a violent brawl at a festival in Canada on Sunday (June 30).
On Monday morning (July 10) 50 Cent took to Instagram with a video mocking Ross. “I just saw a very unfortunate situation that took place in Canada and I wanted to say to everyone that I hope that brother made it home safely,” he began.
“I hope that he now has a different perspective and a better sense of what to do and what not to do while you’re out in the world,” 50 Cent added before suggesting Rick Ross get better protection.
“Let’s choose peace and positive vibes because,” he captioned the video before adding, “Nah pick up ya mans he over there laid out. LOL.”
The mayhem at the festival began after the DJ played Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” Footage from the brawl appeared to show Rick Ross take a jab to the face, sparking chaos. Videos show multiple people taking brutal beatings, with blows and kicks freely flying.
50 Cent Says Rick Ross Won’t Be Going Back To Canada “Acting Like It Ain’t What It Is”
50 Cent also posted a video of Rick Ross’ baby mama, Tia Kemp, reacting to the fight. “My guess is ya, won’t be going back to Canada acting like it ain’t what it is,” the G-Unit boss wrote.
Meanwhile, Tia Kemp hopped on Instagram Live early on Monday to taunt Ross. She roasted him for going to Canada without adequate security after feuding with Drake.
“There should have been a hundred of you n##### over there in Canada,” Kemp said. “I’m sorry, all that s### that fat b#### been talking, what make y’all think you can go over there with that b#######?”
Ray J’s beef with the Zeus Network CEO Lemuel Plummer has turned violent following an altercation at a BET Awards afterparty.
On Sunday (June 30) the feud came to a head after the pair crossed paths at an event. Footage circulating online shows Ray J and Plummer engaged in a heated conversation at the center of a large crowd. Multiple people attempted to intervene between the pair, but Ray J wanted smoke and swung on Plummer.
As people tried to separate them, Ray J disappeared before returning moments later with a backpack in hand. Again, passersby intervened, begging Ray J to stop as he appeared to reach into his bag for something. His entourage eventually managed to bundle him into a car, preventing the situation from escalating further.
Back in May, Ray J accused the Zeus Network co-founder of abusing women, branding him the Black Jeffrey Epstein. He also claimed Plummer manipulates women into sleeping with him to get a spot on the network.
However, despite things becoming physical, Ray J recently claimed he was going the legal route with his allegations. He recently addressed the topic during an episode of The Breakfast Club last month.
“I don’t like when people are doing people wrong and making them do shows for certain things that they shouldn’t,” he said of his issues with Plummer.
Ray J also denied accusing the Zeus CEO of abuse to promote his recently launched Tronix Network.
“That would be foul, that would be inhumane,” he insisted. “These are facts. I have the footage. I have a lot of stuff that he’s been doing. Now it’s time to do what we’re doing now, and that’s legally do the right thing.”
Nicki Minaj put some fans on blast over their reaction to a post she made featuring her husband, Kenneth Petty.
On Sunday night (June 30) Minaj had enough after unleashing on her former manager, Deb Antney, for trying to make amends between her and Lil Kim. The “FTCU” hitmaker took to Instagram with a PSA, warning she was about to delete her apps. She posted a racy caption alongside a video of her jumping into Petty’s arms as they boarded a private jet.
“Can’t even just put your feet up & just suck some kokk no more & relax & be on vacation,” she penned in the caption. “I’m deleting all apps until 2035. Whoever still alive by that date I’ll hit you from my new line. Hold yall head.”
However, not everybody approved of her PDA with convicted sex offender Petty, with one person asking, “Where’s the ew button,” in the comment section. Nicki Minaj replied, “it’s in your mouf. Ewww,” before making a post with her critic’s profile photo.
Minaj had time on her hands because she also posted another video following another comment. “Bro aint making it up all them stairs holding you either,” they wrote. In response, Nicki Minaj shared a clip of Kenneth Petty climbing the stairs alongside the comment.
“Nicki choosing violence tonight & I love it,” one person wrote. “one thing about oniqua maraj petty, she keeps a receipt,” added another.
Meanwhile, hours after winning her eighth Best Female Hip-Hop Artist title at the 2024 BET Awards on Sunday, Nicki Minaj lost it with Deb Antney. During a recent Interview, Antney revealed she reached out to Lil Kim to squash her beef with Nicki Minaj.
However, Minaj slammed the pioneering Hip-Hop exec in a lengthy Twitter rant. According to Minaj, she had already called Antney out for going behind her back and approaching Kim.
“They will THINK it’s coming FROM ME,” Minaj said. “So to NEVER do that again w/o discussing it with me FIRST. I said I’d never want that & that now she’d think that message came from me which is not cool.”
Rick Ross was punched in the face and his crew was jumped at a concert in Canada which descended into chaos as multiple brawls broke out after the DJ played “Not Like Us.”
Footage circulated online showing the MMG honcho facing off against a bunch of goons at Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver, while K. Dot’s Drake diss plays in the background. After exchanging tense words a man swings on Ross, seemingly catching him in the face.
new angle shows full incident, starting off with Rick Ross getting punched in the face in Canada by someone in the crowd
you can hear someone say as Not Like Us is playing "turn that sh*t off, wanna bang out?"
The punch leads to mayhem as various men from both sides then begin brawling with punches and kicks flying. One man appeared to get stomped out and jumped by multiple assailants in a brutal beating. Other videos show Rick Ross standing his ground in the middle of the scrap.
A different video appears to show Rick Ross’s DJ, DJ Sam in a vicious beatdown.

While Drake there’s no indication Drake was involved, he did approve of Rick Ross’s crew getting jumped. Drake liked a post shared by Instagram account 6ixaktv featuring footage of the brawl.
Childish Gambino criticized BET for not giving him more awards while on presenting duties at the 2024 Awards show.
On Sunday night (June 30) the rapper and actor also known as Donald Glover was presenting the Album of the Year award when he went off-script.
“I’m really excited to be here, but I want to get some things on my chest first,” he began. This isn’t personal, but I just feel I should have more BET Awards. I’m serious. It’s the Black Entertainment Television Awards. How much more entertaining do I have to do?”
Childish Gambino clarified his gripe, insisting the selection process is illogical. According to the “This is America” hitmaker, there’s no way he and white artist Sam Smith should have the same number of awards from a Black music platform. He compared his Grammy wins to Will Smith to highlight his objections.
“It’s just the math of the fact, because it doesn’t really make sense.” he continued. “I have more Grammys than Will Smith – which makes no sense – but I have the same amount of BET Awards as Sam Smith. Does that make sense to you guys? Me and Sam Smith are neck and neck, at the Black Entertainment Television…”
Childish Gambino and Sam Smith both have one BET award, with the former winning Video of the Year for This is America in 2019. In contrast, the song scooped four Grammy Awards the same year after winning every nomination.
Redbone collected the golden gramophone for Best Traditional R&B Performance the following year. Meanwhile, Will Smith earned four Grammys in the decade between 1989 and 1999.
Meanwhile, the tables were turned on Childish Gambino after he faced backlash for his performance at the 2024 BET Awards. He joined the USHER tribute, performing “U Don’t Have to Call,” but was criticized on social media.
“BET just p##### me off. Childish Gambino for an USHER tribute???” one person wrote.
Ima say this and move around cause i know yall like to tussle…vocally Childish Gambino was a great choice he literally sounded like Usher pic.twitter.com/0b4m5xT4hs

Chris Brown demanded a public apology from PartyNextDoor and told him to delete his tweets after the singer went on a rant over a video shoot.
On Sunday (June 30), Party took to X (Twitter), calling out Breezy, Bryson Tiller and Jeremih. He was furious after the trio appeared alongside his ex, Desma, in the video for their collab, “Wait On It.”
“I’m finna make these n##### cry…” Party began. “Bryson Chris; and Jeremih… enjoy, the nights, of your life. Doing videos, at 34, that b#### broke. I know 5 rnb singers who broke. Today’s the date.”

Meanwhile, Chris Brown also replied, and he didn’t mince his words, issuing a stern warning to PartyNextDoor. According to Brown, Party tried to smooth things over behind the scenes, but Breezy wanted the apology to be as public as the disrespect.
“N##### speak without thinking sometimes… then call around to my people trying to retract s###,” he wrote on X. “NAW N####, go on your socials and apologize or keep that same energy when you see me.”
It appears PartyNextDoor heard the message loud and clear. He took to social media with a clarification after deleting his posts attacking Chris Brown and his collaborators.
“To be clear, I got nothing but love n respect for those guys,” he wrote before adding, s### happens.”
The feud between Latto and Ice Spice continues to escalate, with both artists adding fuel to the fire at the 2024 BET Awards.
The feuding rappers were both on the bill at the BET Awards on Sunday night (June 30), with Ice Spice performing her Latto diss “Think U the S### (Fart).”
However, Latto was getting ready to perform while her rival was onstage, and she had a message for Ice Spice. “Ho! B####, I’m the muthafuckin stankiest fart you ever smelled,” she said in a video.
Latto posted the clip on her Instagram Stories. While Ice Spice didn’t respond directly, she also seemingly sent a subliminal shot via social media.
The Bronx native took to X (Twitter), with several clips from her performance and an apparent response. “U NOT EVEN THE FART B####,” she wrote before quoting fellow Latto nemesis Nicki Minaj’s “FTCU” lyrics. “Now gimmie my 10ss.”
Meanwhile, Latto debuted the title track from her upcoming album which also appears to target Ice Spice. Latto named the project Sugar Honey Iced Tea which spells out an interesting acronym. She also takes aim at her rivals on the song, including one barb which could be a jab at Nicki Minaj.
“You evil eyed b###### got me sage-ing the whole room,” Latto raps. “You ageing in the face but whatever that’s old news/The crown is coming home soon, I sit on the throne soon.”
Nicki Minaj is calling out her former manager and close confidant Deb Antney for trying to squash the beef with Lil Kim despite asking her not to.
During a recent interview, the pioneering Hip-Hop exec was asked if she ever reached out to Lil Kim or Cardi B to try and make amends with Nicki Minaj.
“I think that we all would love to see that but people would have to be willing to do that,” she explained. “And to be perfectly honest with you, and [Nicki Minaj] gonna kill me for saying even this, but I did reach out to Kim.”

Nicki Minaj Asked Deb Antney Not To Reach Out To Lil Kim
While it appears things went no further, with Antney staying silent on the details, Nicki Minaj was furious. She took to X (Twitter), with a lengthy post blasting Anteny for going public. According to the NYC rapper, she lost it when she learned Antney extended the olive branch to Lil Kim, insisting people would believe she did it on her behalf.
“Deb, Isn’t it funny how you left out the biggest part of the story?” Minaj began. “I didn’t ask you to do a THING! You told me AFTER THE FACT & I SCREAMED ON YOU & told you if you reach out to ppl now that you’re being seen around me, they will THINK it’s coming FROM ME so to NEVER do that again w/o discussing it with me FIRST. I said I’d never want that & that now she’d think that message came from me which is not cool.”
Minaj continued, revealing that Antney suggested Lim Kim and Foxy Brown join her Pink Friday 2 Tour.
“HIGHEST GROSSING TOUR BY A FEMALE RAPPER IN HISTORY,” Minaj declared. “Currently top 10 in history. Competing for TOP 3 in history when the tour is done. You laughed it off & said her & foxy should come out I said no I’d only want foxy to come out on stage with me, she’s like family to me. No disrespect.”
Furthermore, Minaj also accused Antney of using the Lil Kim story and her name for attention. “Stop using my name for clickbait in 2024. We get it!!!!! I’m dat btch!!!!!!” she added. “How dare you? Interviews? Chiiiiiiiiiiiiii WOO WEE!!!!! This world, man, this world. Love yourself deeply.”
Kanye West is reportedly being sued by at least one former employee, who claims they were subjected to “forced labor and cruel inhuman, or degrading treatment” while working for the embattled rapper/entrepreneur.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Kanye West and his ex-chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, are both named as defendants. West stands accused of making false promises to pay his adult and minor employees and insisting they work “insanely long hours” as they were teased with racist jabs.
The issues apparently began in spring 2024, when West launched the YZYVSN streaming service app akin to Tidal, Spotify and Apple Music. The suit claims West wanted to avoid paying those companies to promote his last two albums, Vultures and Vultures 2. After West and Yiannopoulos allegedly hired an international developer group, which included several Black members and underage teens, things took a turn for the worst.
The documents state Yiannopoulos promised to pay $120,000 to the developer group once they completed the app if they agreed to the work conditions, didn’t complain and signed non-disclosure agreements. They then allegedly threatened to fire the minors (who were forced to sign “volunteer” agreements) and refuse to pay them if they didn’t comply.
The suit also claims the white managers used harassing language toward the minorities in regards to their age, race, gender, sexual orientation and national origin. Some team members were labeled “slaves,” while others were referred to as “new slaves.”
For Censori’s part, she’s being accused of sending one worker a file-sharing link containing pornography, although she isn’t named as a defendant. The incident allegedly occurred after West announced plans to start his own adult film company. The underage workers were supposedly not shielded from viewing seeing the offensive videos as they developed the app.
West and Yiannopoulos allegedly never paid the employees either, so they’re seeking damages for unpaid wages and overtime pay as well as emotional distress.
The new lawsuit is just the latest legal issue for Kanye West, who has been riddled with all kinds of allegations over the past couple of years. Earlier this month, West and Censori were sued by former assistant Lauren Pisciotta for sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment.
She claims that during her employment, West sent her sexually explicit messages, including videos of himself with other women, and even masturbated during phone calls with her. The lawsuit also details an incident where West and Censori allegedly bragged about participating in a five-person orgy and involved Pisciotta in coordinating Uber rides for women to join them.
The accusations extend to incidents of inappropriate behavior in the workplace. Pisciotta alleges that West demanded she remove her cardigan at the office and expected other female guests to perform sexual acts on him and his male guests in the office changing room.
West has denied these allegations, calling them baseless, and plans to countersue, accusing Pisciotta of attempting to extort him and sending nude photos in an effort to solicit him for sex. The case has added to the tumultuous legal battles West has faced in recent years, highlighting ongoing issues within his professional and personal life.
Whoever is running Foolio’s Instagram account is beefing with the late rapper’s longtime nemesis, Yungeen Ace. On Friday (June 28), Ace dropped a new song and video for “Game Over” on his YouTube channel in which he (once again) seems to be dissing Foolio, who died in an ambush killing on June 23.
Yungeen Ace plugged the video and song on Instagram and someone using Foolio’s account instantly labeled it “trash,” although the comment has since been deleted. Yungeen Ace replied, “You still f###### with me dude? I love you 4EVA.”
The bizarre exchanges have left many of their fans confused. Some actually believe Foolio is still alive, while others are assuming his family is running promo from his Instagram page to help pay for his funeral costs.
Julio Foolio, whose real name was Charles Jones, was tragically killed at a Holiday Inn in Tampa while celebrating his 26th birthday. He and his crew had already been kicked out of an Airbnb for exceeding the occupancy limit. The shooting occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning, around 5 a.m. local time, in the hotel’s parking lot.
The incident left Foolio dead and three others injured, who are expected to recover. The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the ambush and are working to identify the assailants. Hours after Foolio’s murder, Yungeen Ace dropped a track and video called “Do It,” which seemed to mirror the events that unfolded at the Holiday Inn.
“Every car I’ve been these b###### tinted,” he raps. “Choppers and killers in it/Catch his ass and do his ass you know he finished/He with his baby do it/He with this b#### do it/With his mama do it.”
The accompanying visuals feature several masked individuals killing a man in what appears to be a hotel parking lot. Yungeen Ace, Foolio and their respective gangs, Ace’s Top Killers (ATK) and Kill Them All (KTA), have been feuding for almost a decade. At least seven Jacksonville rappers have been killed, and both Yungeen Ace and Foolio were shot at various times during the war.
In June 2018, Yungeen Ace and three others, including his brother Trevon Bullard, were celebrating a birthday when someone opened fire on their car. Bullard and two others were killed—including Ace’s brother—while Yungeen Ace managed to survive after being shot eight times. Then in 2021, Foolio was grazed by a bullet and targeted in another shooting last year. He was hit in the foot and, in fact, was still in a walking boot in recent Instagram photos.
Foolio was known for his raw and vivid lyrics often reflecting the violence in Jacksonville. He first gained prominence with his debut album, 6toven, in 2018 and his most recent single, “Resurrection.”
Something Gillie The Kid said about women clearly resonated with Kid Capri, who promptly hopped on Instagram to share his thoughts on the topic. A few clips floating around on TikTok shows Gillie The Kid slamming superficial women.
In a lengthy post, Kid Capri agreed with Gillie The Kid’s sentiments and wrote, “Real s###. I’m tired of seeing narcissistic chicks in their camera all day, show me you know how to take care of a business, take care of a child, a home or how smart you are, show me a talent!!
“Some chicks wake up at 7 in the morning and the first thing they do before washing their a#### or brush teeth, or even get breakfast, they post a picture with their fat a#### bent over at 7 in the m0rning! Fact is, there are plenty of bad chicks all over the world, ok, what’s next? When’s the last time you seen a young woman dance regular without twerking?”
He added in the caption, “Being sexy is one thing, over doing it is another, No hate at all, and I really don’t care if you don’t agree, but @gilliedaking said he’s tired of woman calling themselves bad b*tches, and I agree,” he wrote in the caption. “S#### corny! And if that’s the only thing you got going for you, then you could never handle a man like me, woman can be sexy and have fun, but people gotta get their minds right. I said what I said.”
Kid Capri got support from Pete Rock, who wrote, “GEN Z and even deez older women with teenage behavior bro it’s sickening @kidcapri101 you are right” and Fat Boys rapper Kool Rock Ski, who wrote simply, “PURE FACTS.”
But other people, mostly women, took issue with Kid Capri’s comments. As one person wrote, “Policing women is at an all time high. If it’s not someone you are in a healthy relationship with, why speak on it? How is it effecting you? Why so much focus on controlling what some women do or don’t do based on your own moral standard? If it’s not for you, then it’s not for you.
“Posting these ‘hot takes’ just opens the door for women bashing. And same for posts about what some men are doing somewhere that a woman doesn’t agree with. Engage with the kind of people you want to engage with. It’s that simple.”
Another woman countered, “Soooooo….when will the conversation happen around the thousands of men who give attention to the women you’ve spoken about.”
Still, other women were happy Kid Capri said something. As one put it, “I love to hear men express this way. They don’t listen when other women say it. So to hear it directly from the men they seek to impress may hit home.”
Kid Capri might want to pay closer attention when he’s scrolling. Another person explained, “To be fair, the algorithm shows you what you frequently choose to look at. What you frequently like, what you engage with. If you chose to engage with said ‘fat a####’ then that’s what you will see. My feed shows me music, art, politics, entrepreneurship. I don’t engage with the things I don’t want to see. Best way to solve that problem is to engage with what you want. The algorithm essentially functions like a mirror in to your behavior online.”
Flavor Flav is on a mission to not only take better care of himself but also do good for others.
As the Public Enemy legend celebrates four years of sobriety, he appears frustrated by the media’s tendency to paint him in a negative light. Despite his new path in life, the 65-year-old Hip-Hop icon still gets flak for his checkered past, which includes periods of addiction, criminal charges and subsequent jail time.
On Sunday (June 30), Flavor Flav penned a lengthy Instagram post both recognizing his hardships and encouraging media outlets (and people in general) to have more compassion.
“I’m in a new Era of my life… my golden years,” he explained. “and Imma use these years to give back and make a positive difference in everything I can. Imma also live life to the fullest and nobody is going to turn back time on me!! I live every day knowing that I can make a difference in other people’s lives…even if it’s with a hug or handshake cuz ya never know what anyone else is going thru. And I been thru it.”
Flav then opened up about his journey to sobriety, noting it hasn’t been an easy road. He continued, “I am 4 years sober from cigarettes and alcohol that started when I was just 6 years old. I been 15+ years sober from hard drugs that started back when black communities were targeted. Everyone makes mistakes and I’ve had to live mine publicly. I’m proud to share my sobriety journey and thanks to my friends and family and those who support me.”
In 2011, Flavor Flav, who first came to prominence as a member of Public Enemy and later as a television personality on VH1’s Flavor of Love, told the Australian radio show The Kyle and Jackie O Show that when his drug problem was at its worst, he would spend up to $2,600 a day on crack cocaine.
Three years later, Flav was pulled over on Long Island’s Meadowbrook Parkway for driving 79 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone, and was charged with possession of marijuana and unlicensed operation of a vehicle. Authorities discovered Flav had 16 suspensions on his license as he was en route to his mother’s funeral. Flav was then arrested near Las Vegas in May 2015 for speeding and driving under the influence. Under new management, Flav seems to have found a renewed sense of purpose and wants to help others who might be wrestling their own substance abuse issues.
“To everyone out there struggling with addiction, it is a real battle you fight every day,” he added. “But I’m still here and you know what…I DID IT…and if I can do it…anyone can do it!!”
Flavor Flav then targeted blogs and other publications, saying, “To every media outlet that tries to capitalize on my goodwill initiatives and tear me down by bringing up my past or old interviews…do better and bring up today and what I do now. Alwayz been a trail blazer to bring about positive change.
“I am constantly volunteering my time, energy, and resources to help others. Every day,,, I out here buying school supplies from teacher wish lists. Every week I out there serving the homeless and underprivileged communities. Every year I buy foster and underprivileged kids their entire Christmas wish list. I ain’t out there promoting it…but enough know cuz I be I receiving hundreds of requests for donations every single day,,, and I wish I had the capacity and means to help everyone. And imma keep doing my best.”
Flav concluded, “I’m proud of the man I am today. The father I am. The friend. The hype man to all those who need support. I’ve made this statement before: Allow for people to grow and change in a supportive manner and Don’t let anyone hold you to your past, I wear the clock, my clock goes clockwise not counter clockwise,,, Which side are you on?? Look forward not backwards.”
One of the guys accused of scamming 50 Cent out of millions of dollars threatened to kill himself rather than face the rapper and admit to the crime.
50 Cent has filed a lawsuit against Beam Suntory and ex-employees Julious Grant, Michael Caruso, and his wife, Gina Caruso, seeking millions in damages.
50 Cent alleges they were involved in an elaborate embezzlement scheme with an associate named Mitchell Green, who 50 Cent hired to represent Sire Spirits.
Instead of handling business, the group doublecrossed 50 Cent and siphoned money from his liquor company by inflating costs and pocketing the excess loot.
One of the guys, Mitchell Green, has already pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud in connection with his participation and is awaiting sentencing for his role in the scheme.
The whole scam fell apart when Grant attempted to extort Caruso and Green for more money because he was unhappy with his take, which allegedly amounted to over $1 million.
“Money [Michael Caruso’s nickname]…you and your partner have been getting fat at my expense…This is how I want this to work you guys by months end will pay me 600k. I’ll consider this a walk away severance… If you chose not to do so I will… let Fif know the reason he was paying such high margarine [sic]…You and your partner do t [sic] want that kind of smoke from Fif,” Grant wrote to Caruso in a text message.
Green decided it was best to meet with 50 Cent’s lawyers and a retired FBI agent investigating the scams on behalf of Sire Spirits to confess his thieving ways.
During a call organized by Green, while everyone was listening, Caruso admitted to stealing, began sobbing and threatened to commit suicide if Green admitted the scam to 50 Cent.
Green also met with two other FBI agents later that week and laid out the entire scam, which quickly unraveled.
Green was eventually terminated from working with Sire after he stopped cooperating with the investigation and lawyered up.
As a result of the scamming operation, 50 Cent and Sire Spirits had to reevaluate their relationships with suppliers, vendors, employees and third-party contractors, which caused significant damage to the mogul’s liquor business.
50 Cent and Sire Spirits are suing for at least $6 million in damages.
50 recently tapped civil rights attorney Ben Crump to join his legal team in the fight to increase minority representation in the multibillion-dollar luxury spirits industry.
The pair had a meeting with Congressional Leaders on Capitol Hill on June 5.
“Suntory Global Spirits is a $20 billion a year company, when they don’t follow compliance they just pay a fine. Would you mind paying a fine, when you make $20 billion a year. I gotta fight them can’t just let them beat me out of my money,” 50 Cent said.
Cardi B took to social media to flame the BET production team after her performance at the BET Experience Concert Series on Friday.
Cardi B was irate over mishaps that cost her hundreds of thousands and diminished her show quality.
The rapper performed alongside artists like Sexxy Red, but her social media posts following the event were anything but congratulatory.

“Let me tell you about yesterday!! I spent 100k on pyro that we couldn’t use because the production team failed to have the fire marshal go over safety with my team which is sooo simple to do,” Cardi B shared on X. “Spent days in rehearsal learning choreography just for them to have the wrong mix and we had to swap it out.”
“We booked four fans so they could be turned on during ‘Bartier Cardi’ and that never happened,” Cardi B continued. “You wanna know why? Because they didn’t bother to show up to rehearsal while hundreds of thousands of dollars was put into this show.”
Cardi B reportedly paid $350,000 upfront for her performance but did not mince her words.
“The least they could do is get my pyro ready and turn the fans on because guess what??? At the end of the day that money is not returnable… don’t half ass my show because you comfortable when I definitely don’t half ass when it comes to paying.”

Kanye West is in Moscow to help celebrate the birthday of Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy, the creative director of his Yeezy brand.
Rubchinskiy is also involved in Kanye’s music career—he helped design the artwork for Vultures, the rapper’s joint album with Ty Dolla $ign.
According to reports, Kanye is also in Russia’s capital preparing for a show and a meeting with President Vladimir Putin amid geopolitical tension, unfazed by the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
Russian influencer Yana Rudkovskaya shared the news on her Telegram channel.
“Kanye West is already in Moscow! This is super news! He stopped in the very heart of the capital! Fingers crossed on the Luzhniki show! I’ll bet if it takes place 80,000 [tickets] will be sold out in three days. Ok. A week at most,” she wrote.
Representatives of the venue have stated that they have no information on any such upcoming performance.
Meanwhile, media reports are abuzz with the possibility of a meeting between West and Putin.
This potential meeting is particularly intriguing as the Russian President has expressed mixed feelings about the influence of Hip-Hop.
In 2018, Putin acknowledged the genre’s burgeoning popularity in Russia but advised caution.
“This is part of culture, this is part of our common culture, so it needs to be treated with great caution,” Putin said during a session with the Presidential Council for Culture and Art in St. Petersburg.
He added, “If it is impossible to stop, then it is necessary to navigate and guide accordingly.”
West’s willingness to perform in Russia contrasts sharply with the hesitance of many Western artists to visit the country due to its ongoing military actions in Ukraine.
Snoop Dogg, Kurupt and Warren G delivered a surprise performance at Khloé Kardashian’s 40th birthday party on Saturday night (June 29).
The “Khloewood”-themed extravaganza—a nod to Dolly Parton’s “Dollywood”—took place somewhere in Los Angeles, although the specific location wasn’t disclosed. Kourtney Kardashian and husband/blink-192 drummer Travis Barker as well as Kim Kardashian and other members of the famous reality television family were among the many high-profile guests.
Video posted to Kim Kardashian’s Instagram Stories shows Snoop Dogg performing classics like “The Next Episode,” “Nuthin’ But a G Thang,” “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted,” Gin & Juice” and “Ain’t No Fun” as dancers hit the stripper pole. At one point, Snoop wishes Khloé Kardashian a happy birthday. Many of the songs were performed in full cowboy getups.
Kim mentioned it in the caption, “Not sure how I’m even awake but finding videos in my phone is the best. Best part is @khloekardashian had no idea @snoopdogg was coming so this made her whole night.”

Snoop Dogg is gearing up for his commentary role at the 2024 Paris Olympics, but his isn’t too concerned about France’s strict weed ban. The weed connoisseur, who’s covering the games for NBC, told TIME recently, “Trust me, I’m a very legal guy. I plan on going out there and doing NBC Olympic work. Being clean as a book, clean as the athletes. They can test me if they want to. I’m going to be out there doing what I’m supposed to be doing to make sure I bring home the gold. Which is me.”
Snoop was asked if he considered weed to be a performance-enhancing drug since Olympians are banned from using it, but he laughed it off, pointing to weed’s impact on his 200-meter run at the 2024 Olympic Trials.
“I just ran a 34.44 in the 200 meters and I was smoking all night,” he said. “So that s### ain’t got nothing to do with helping my time at all. It f##### my time up, if anything. Unless they got some super s### to get you faster. Let me know where it is and I’ll be the first to try.”
Snoop will cover a variety of sports during the 2024 Olympics but is most interested in basketball. The Doggfather told TIME he “wants to roll with” the U.S. men’s basketball team and praised Canadian star Shai-Gilgeous Alexander.
“I think he’s the Snoop Dogg of basketball,” Snoop said regarding SGA. “I love the way he plays, his style. The way he stays focused and gets better every time he gets out on the court. I love his game. I respect it.”
The 2024 Olympics begin in July. Snoop will be a special correspondent for NBC’s Primetime in Paris.

Trina has finally found true love—and it’s serious enough for the 45-year-old rapper to tie the knot.
According to reports, Trina married her fiancé Benjamin Leon Kearse Jr. in a private ceremony on May 22 in Miramar, Florida. The couple had officially filed for their marriage license on April 5.
The marriage marks a new chapter for Trina, as her previous engagement to Raymond “Ray Almighty” Taylor ended before they reached the altar.

In an interview with Carlos King, Trina shed light on the difficulties she experienced in her previous relationships, including her previous one with Taylor.
“I feel like if you don’t want to be with one person, be single, or there are people that allow you to be with several people,” she said. “I’m not one of them. I feel like that I’m not one of those girls, right.”
Trina emphasized the need for mutual respect and acknowledged how insecurities and infidelity from her partners affected her self-worth.
“In the relationships that I’ve been in, whether it was trust issues or I don’t feel like we’re elevating in a certain way, I’m going here, you’re going there, it’s just not working,” she said.
Despite her turbulent relationship history, Trina has apparently found solace and joy with Swurv.

Shaq is clearing the air with Drake after clowning him with a recent social media post.
The Los Angeles Lakers legend addressed the topic on the latest episode of his Big Podcastshow. “Let me apologize real quick. I sent out a picture the other day,” Shaq began. “The mistake I made was I should’ve said ‘Who did this?’ Because I want Drake to know.”
Before offering up another apology, Shaq explained that he only shared it because he thought Drake would find it amusing.
“Listen, Drake has a great sense of humor. So I thought it was funny that they did that. I don’t want him to think ‘I saw Shaq trolling,’’ he added. “No, I’m not trolling.
The image in question features a shirtless Shaquille O’Neal alongside a woman with Drake’s head photoshopped onto her body. The pair are embracing with Shaq cupping fake Drake’s booty. Doubling down on the trolling, the post included Metro Boomin’s edit of “BBL Drizzy.”
Shaq clarified that he didn’t edit the picture himself, and he should have made it obvious in the caption.
“No, I didn’t photoshop it. Somebody photoshopped it and I actually saw it. And I took the picture… So Drake, I apologize,” he said, adding, “because I don’t want you to think I did that. Somebody sent it to me. I thought it was funny and hopefully, you thought it was funny, too. But once it went viral, I definitely took it down. So my bad, big Drake.”
