Private White School Investigates Students Who Were Filmed Rapping The ‘N-word’ From DaBaby Song

An all-boys private school in Bethesda, Maryland, with a population of predominantly white students, is currently in a code of conduct crisis after some of the boys were caught saying the “n-word.”

The Landon School is a private academy that educates students from the third grade until their senior year in high school. Reps took to social media to explain what happened and what they were doing about students using the racial slur – even in the context of popular culture.

According to the Washington Post, some of the boys were recorded rapping the lyrics to Da Baby’s song “Freestyle” on the Red Line train on Thursday, September 1st by a Hispanic man named Jose Romero.

He said he started to record the teens when he heard them singing three verses of the song that contained the n-word. Romero is careful to get the back of the students’ heads.

“We are deeply concerned by the video showing a group of Landon students’ behavior on the DC Metro,” the statement read. “Their conduct and offensive words are unacceptable and antithetical to our school’s values and our Civility Code.”

It continued, “We absolutely do not condone or tolerate the behavior displayed in this video, and we deeply regret the hurt it has caused. We are looking into the matter. As we begin the school year, we look forward to continuing our work to build in our boys the characteristics of respect, honor, and kindness that are so essential in preparing the next generation.”

Romero said a Black woman also in the car was offended and shocked, and Romero said, “We couldn’t believe what we were seeing or hearing.”

In a separate video, the group of teenagers is seen hitting the windows and the top of the train car.

Romero captured the students yelling profanity about their rival school, Gonzaga College High School, a private Catholic college preparatory high school in the District.

“I did make it clear to him it’s impossible to tell who is saying [the n-word] and who isn’t,” Romero, 44, said. “I think that you can’t really single out one person, but the school should really take this as a teaching moment … for those students.”

Rapper Cardi B Has A Kenyan Twin … Sorta, Kinda, Maybe

They say everyone has a twin somewhere.

It appears Bronx bombshell and Grammy Award-winning rapper Cardi B also has one.

The doppelganger’s name is Nduta Mwega, and she goes by Sharon. She is from Kenya, Africa, a long way from the Highbridge neighborhood, the “WAP” chart-topper’s original South Bronx home.

Mwega took to social media to see if other people saw the resemblance, creating a side-by-side collage of the two and posting it on Instagram, captioning, “Imma leave this here, cant believe I did the shoot before her interview was out. the choice of makeup and wig synchronizing.”

The dancer, model, actress, and self-proclaimed Cardironke, has over 83,000 followers, many of whom are smitten by her beauty.

One said, “Can’t believe we have our own Kenyan Cardi b.”
Cardi’s African friends are all for it, calling Nduta her sister.

“iamcardib better come for your sister she has started becoming expensive here in Kenya,” on person joked.

It should not come to anyone’s shock that someone in Africa resembles Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar-Cephus.

She is of African descent, with a father from the Dominican Republic and a mother from Trinidad. Often, she has had to use social media to explain her ethnicity as an Afro-Latina.

She once said on Twitter, “A lot of Americans like to tell people about their race due to their ethnicity.”

“I’m not here to defend, I’m here to educate. I am Afro-Latina. Being Afro Latina don’t mean you have to [be] Amara la Negra color neither,” she continued. “My grandmother from my mom side is not Latina at all & her father is light a####### so my mommy is light but her sibling (sic) are dark.”

Check out examples she has shared over the years of her family being mixed with African, European (Spain), and Indigenous blood.

She also posted how she has always identified as only half Spanish.

Lil Durk And India Royale May Have Broken Up

Lil Durk has not been in the rooms for quite some time, but now he’s in there for all the wrong reasons. After a highly publicized engagement to India Royale, it appears that the couple has broken up.

India tweeted something ominous. She proclaimed herself to be a “free agent,” something you can’t be when you’re with a highly successful rapper like Durkio. And yet, that’s exactly what she did. The Internet went wow, even Newsweek did a report on it.

https://twitter.com/indiaroyalec/status/1568827666111037441?

These two have been together for years, and got engaged last December. As you already know, they have a daughter that was born in 2018.

The Internet doesn’t miss a thing. And it helps when you stop unfollowing each other on social media and delete pictures from Instagram. Now, Durk is still following her, so there may be some hope for the couple. They seem to be extremely happy and I wish nothing but the best for them! What’s crazy is she has her tattooed on his leg.

They probably just had a bad argument and need to rectify the situation so that they can get back together. Both of them are in their late 20s and I think it’s time for them to settle down!

Anyway the fans have definitely gone wild and speculation is even crazier. Let us know!

We do not know how Durk is feeling, but it seems like there’s some angst. A young jawn tried to jump in his DMs less than 24 hours after the alleged break up and he defecated on her life.

YG Talks “Finally” Getting A Collab With Nas For His Album

It looks like West Coast emcee YG tapped East Coast emcee Nas for an upcoming song. YG spoke about the collaboration during a listening session for his I Got Issues album.

YG told the media that he did not record the song in the studio with Nas. However, it was still a monumental moment in the Compton native’s career as a recording artist.

“I was trying to get him on my second album, but it just didn’t happen. But he’s been showing love since day one, he always supported my s###. So when I finally got the verse, I was like, ‘Finally,'” said YG about working with the Queensbridge-bred rap legend.

The 4Hunnid Records leader continued, “The song that I got him on, it makes sense because I’m popping it like I’m God’s son, and that’s like his s###. So when he did that s###, I was like, ‘Yeah, timing is everything.’ It was good though. I can’t wait until the people hear it.”

YG released his sophomore studio LP, Still Brazy, in 2016. He was able to secure features from Lil Wayne, Drake, Nipsey Hussle, Kamaiyah, and other acts for that 17-track project.

I Got Issues will arrive on DSPs on September 30. The album will follow 2020’s My Life 4Hunnid which peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200 chart with 64,000 first-week units.

YG’s catalog also contains 2014’s My Krazy Life, 2018’s Stay Dangerous, and 2019’s 4Real 4Real. This year has already seen the 32-year-old rapper drop the singles “Scared Money” with J. Cole and Moneybagg Yo as well as “Run” with Tyga, 21 Savage, and BIA.

Nas previously teamed up with YG and A Boogie wit da Hoodie for “YKTV” off King’s Disease II. Nas’s most recent body of work, Magic, came out in December 2021. Plus, his discography consists of critically-acclaimed LPs such as Illmatic, It Was Written, Stillmatic, God’s Son, Life Is Good, and King’s Disease.

Mia X Talks No Limit Records, Her 1979 Rap Vision, Mastering Cooking & How AllHipHop Helped

Mia X has vision.

According to Webster’s, a visionary is “someone or something that thinks about the future or advancements in a creative and imaginative way” or a “person who is ahead of his time and who has a powerful plan for change in the future is an example of a visionary.” She’s known her destiny since the year 1979, when Hip-Hop began a trek into the mainstream.

Mia X made history as a member of Master P’s No Limit Records, but the New Orleans rap matriarch makes it clear to Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur – she was doing this before she hopped in the tank. She made an indelible mark as an emcee with a plethora of hit albums, hit songs and even movie appearances. Check out this chat with a legend in music and business.

AllHipHop: Now, we going to get into a lot of the backstory behind how you got to this point, but tell us how your business is going and tell people a little bit about it, and what makes it special?

Mia X: So my business is doing really well. I’m very thankful for that, but it started from me creating a cooking squad on Twitter like 11 years ago. And the squad called Team Whip Dem Pots. And I inspired people to cook. You know, I just want people to cook. I want families to cook. I want people to cook. And so, after that, I started penning my memoir.

AllHipHop: Okay.

Mia X: “Things My Grandma Told Me, Things My Grandma Showed Me.” And it’s a cookbook memoir. I talk about my life, about my time in the music industry. And I talk about my experience with food. It’s like my audience, they moved with me. They transitioned from the music to the food. I was really excited and happy that they didn’t call me a has-been and act like I didn’t exist anymore. They really grew with me and AllHipHop, man.

AllHipHop: So let’s go to that. AllHipHop is turning 25 next year, but you were one of the first people to get down with us outside of just being interviewed and outside of us chasing you or whatever, or being in the news. Talk about that a little bit.

Mia X: So, AllHipHop gave me my first opportunity, and gave me the platform to really talk about my food and all the stories. You guys allowed me to write columns because in a lifestyle section. And I would do excerpts in my book, recipes, just all kind of little stuff. But y’all gave me that platform and people really started to take me serious as a cook. So you know, AllHipHop is family forever, baby.

AllHipHop: We family.

Mia X: Forever.

AllHipHop: (Styles P pulls up) That’s what’s up. Styles P!

Styles P: I’m hopping in. If you plant based, you need a plant based meal, get the vegan cabbage.

Mia X: That’s my vegan cabbage. It’s here today.

AllHipHop: Okay. Bun said you almost put him to sleep today.

Mia X: Because look, he started with a little piece of fish and some red beans. And then he came back for seconds.

AllHipHop: Bun looked like he gets seconds. Maybe thirds.

Mia X: He came back for seconds, but I’m going to get one of those Trill Burgers. I want to try the vegan one, because they said it will shock you.

AllHipHop: They ran out. He said they ran out in four hours. It’s gone.

Mia X: That’s what happened to me with the fish, I’m out of the fish. (She sold over 600 pieces of fish at the Rock The Bells Festival)

AllHipHop: So look, see what people up north don’t understand is that, the key to good food, is the love you put into it. Talk about the love you put into your food.

Mia X: I enjoy cooking for people. I love to see them satisfied. You know, when they take the first bite. And then after they finish the meal, it’s really important to me, when I’m cooking, to make sure people love it. I don’t cook like to make money. I don’t cook just to be cooking. I want people to really have an experience with the food and know, I want to feel like you auntie.

Your mama, your grandma, because I am a grandma. I am a auntie and I am a mama. But I want to feel like that to people who I never met before, especially with food. Food bonds people, the kitchen is the heartbeat of your home. I’m telling you.

AllHipHop: Wow. That’s so serious. Now, for me, right, I’ve tried to cook, and I used to make my daughter spaghetti tacos. Like we used to do anything, because we didn’t know what we were doing. We were literally kind of growing up together. Do you have any recommendation for someone trying to learn how to cook, but just can’t seem to get it together?

Mia X: It’s your Trinity. So, in new Orleans it’s onion, garlic and bell pepper. We season most of our foods that way. Sometimes we add celery to it. And if we doing gravys, we add a little pinch of Thyme. But you’re seasoning is the key to making delicious food. So as long as you know, to season your food, and I’m not talking about salting it, season your food, add your herbs and your spices. You can make anything, I’m talking about anything.

AllHipHop: Right, Right. Thank you for that. I was vegan for a while, like real vegan, for like a short period of time, a year or two or something. And, that was the key to getting through it, seasoning.

Mia X: Seasoning.

AllHipHop: Yeah. Now, hip-hop turns 50 years old. Next year. We’re talking about all aspects of the culture, but, you have a distinct unique perspective. For one, you were down with one of the most iconic… (Sheek Louch of The Lox walks by) Sheek!

Sheek Louch: I see you.

AllHipHop: One of the most iconic labels, No Limit. And you were also a woman in that brand as well. Can you talk about what you went through or the idea that Hip-Hop is a really young culture, but it’s now turning 50?

Mia X: Well, I put a record out three years before I met Master P, and I had been in a game, Mannie Fresh and I, we had been in a group since we were 14. We were in a group with a guy that was actually from Queens. So our group was called New York Incorporated.

But when I got with No Limit, it was like 27 guys, and just me. What I loved about that experience, they never told me what to write. They always let me do my thing. And they never pushed like imagery on me. I had imagery pushed on me from the labels that distributed us, but they never pushed like, “Oh mama, you too fat. Or you need to do this or you need to do that.” They just let me be me. So that was really beautiful. You know, I gained some brothers and our children are… We godparents, like that’s KLC’s son. He’s the executive chef.

AllHipHop: Yeah. Nice.

Mia X: He’s my godchild. And so, we had a real cool family, so it was a good experience. But hip-hop itself, you know, I fell in love with hip-hop in 79. I fell in love in 79. And you know how you have class night at school?

And when you have career day at school, since 1982, the only thing I’ve ever told my teachers was that I was going to be a rapper. I’ve never said I was going to be anything else.

AllHipHop: That’s vision.

Mia X: I mean, and they would call my mom and say, you know that hip-hop, like the Rapping Duke and they would say, hippity bippity, call it all kind of names, because they didn’t recognize it as a genre when I fell in love with it. But I knew hip-hop was going to be special.

AllHipHop: You knew it.

Mia X: I knew it.

AllHipHop: Yeah. A lot of people we talk to say, they didn’t know it. And, that most people were saying it wouldn’t be around, but you knew it.

Mia X: I knew it. And I was like, I’m going to be a rapper from the time when Millie Jackson made, I Had To Say It, I was like, and I could cuss, oh my goodness. I’m going to throw a couple cuss words in there.

AllHipHop: That’s a fact.

Mia X: I knew hip-hop was something special. You know, I knew we had stories to tell, we had a lifestyle. I knew it.

Halle Berry Reacts To A Tweet Confusing Her With ‘The Little Mermaid’ Star Halle Bailey

On September 9, Walt Disney Studios presented a trailer for The Little Mermaid starring Halle Bailey of the R&B duo Chloe x Halle. Apparently, at least one person thought the movie featured Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry in the lead role.

“Halle Berry is nearly 60 years old playing the role of a 16-year-old girl. This is what happens when you upset a fandom,” wrote a Twitter user. A supposed screenshot of the likes-to-dislike ratio for The Little Mermaid teaser on YouTube accompanied that since-deleted tweet.

In response, the 56-year-old Halle Berry posted a meme of fellow Oscar winner Mo’Nique from VH1’s Charm School reality television series. The three women in the image appear to be disinterested, annoyed, or confused.

In December 2021, Halle Berry also responded to another Twitter user who mistakenly thought she was playing Ariel in The Little Mermaid reboot. Since the announcement of the Rob Marshall-directed film, Berry has expressed support for Halle Bailey and the forthcoming motion picture.

“This means so much! Can’t wait @HalleBailey 👏🏽💕💕,” tweeted Halle Barry on the day The Little Mermaid trailer landed online. On September 9, Bailey also tweeted, “Today has been so overwhelming and incredible. ♥️ I’m so happy you’re getting to see a peek of everything 🥹😭thank you for the love…🐚✨.”

Disney plans to release the new version of The Little Mermaid on May 26, 2023. In addition to Halle Bailey, the cast includes Jonah Hauer-King as Eric, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, Javier Bardem as King Triton, Daveed Diggs as Sebastian, and Awkwafina as Scuttle.

Some racist online trolls have targeted Halle Bailey for portraying Ariel in the live-action The Little Mermaid. The casting decision seemed to upset some people because the Hans Christian Andersen-created character was Caucasian in the original fairy tale.

Bad Bunny’s ‘Un Verano Sin Ti’ Album Spends 10th Week At No. 1

Benito “Bad Bunny” Ocasio still has the most popular album in America. Un Verano Sin Ti returned to the Billboard 200 chart’s #1 position.

Last week’s winner, God Did by DJ Khaled, slipped to #4, giving Bad Bunny the opportunity to reclaim the top spot. The Puerto Rican rapper’s fourth studio LP amassed an additional 99,500 units in the most recent tracking week.

Un Verano Sin Ti has spent ten nonconsecutive weeks atop the Billboard 200 rankings. Bad Bunny’s Spanish-language project is now just the ninth album this century to rank at #1 at least ten times.

Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album also pulled off that feat in 2021. Drake’s Views is the only Hip Hop release to chart at #1 for at least ten weeks since 2000. Views held the pole position for 13 weeks in 2016.

Bad Bunny also surpassed Drake on the list of acts to have an album remain in the Billboard 200’s Top 2 consecutively. Un Verano Sin Ti secured its 18th week at either No. 1 or No. 2. Views charted in the Top 2 for 17 straight weeks.

Elsewhere on this week’s Billboard 200 list, Beyoncé’s Renaissance stayed at #6. Rod Wave’s Beautiful Mind climbed one spot to #7. Both of those LPs previously ranked at #1. Plus, the Weeknd’s The Highlights rejoined the Top 10 at #8.

TDE President Punch Expresses Concern & Pride Over Kendrick Lamar Leaving The Label

Kendrick Lamar rose to superstardom through his association with West Coast-based Top Dawg Entertainment. The Compton emcee chose to part ways with the label in order to start pgLang.

TDE President Terrence “Punch” Henderson Jr. recently spoke about Kendrick Lamar’s departure. During an interview with Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast, the A Room Full of Mirrors member shared his thoughts on the matter.

“I care about him generally as a person,” said Punch about Kendrick Lamar. “But, using the analogy like if you got kids, at some point, they gotta go outside. You can’t walk with them everywhere they go. They gotta go out and gather their own experiences.”

Punch also added, “Even if they fall on their head, they gotta fall on their head, get up, learn from that, and keep moving. You’re concerned always. But it’s still like, ‘I’m proud of you, bro. Do what you do.’ If you need something, the phone is open.”

pgLang Has Already Worked With Calvin Klein

Kendrick Lamar and longtime collaborator Dave Free launched pgLang in 2020. The private enterprise serves as a record label, a production company, and a music publishing service.

In 2021, pgLang created a promotional campaign for American fashion house Calvin Klein. Dave Free directed the 7 video series which featured Baby Keem, Ryan Destiny, Keith Powers, Brent Faiyaz, and more.

“It’s a good thing to have people who understand your creative language. I always go back to the language and that’s how we damn near made this company,” stated Lamar two years ago. You have to be able to share and experience the same language, or teach another language.”

Punch Previously Said Kendrick Lamar Needs To Try New Things

Kendrick Lamar released Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers album in May via PGLang, TDE, Aftermath, and Interscope. The critically-acclaimed, chart-topping project is likely Lamar’s last project for Top Dawg Entertainment.

Punch explained to Mic in February, “That’s a grown man right now. We watched him grow from a teenager up into an established grown man, a businessman, and one of the greatest artists of all time. So how long do you actually be signed up under somebody? It’s been almost 20 years. So it’s time to move on and try new things and venture out.”

Additionally, Punch addressed the rumors that R&B singer SZA was not happy with how she has been handled at TDE. In the same My Expert Opinion sitdown, Punch suggested he and the label had no reason to hold back the release of SZA’s sophomore studio LP.

Megan Thee Stallion Reacts To Abortion Rumor Involving Nicki Minaj

There was a lot of drama in the female rap world over the weekend. Grammy-winning performer Megan Thee Stallion was caught up in the turmoil after Nicki Minaj’s latest episode of Queen Radio.

On the show, Nicki Minaj claimed an unnamed person once suggested she get an abortion. Many of Minaj’s fans assumed the “Super Freaky Girl” rapper took aim at Megan Thee Stallion.

“Imagine telling someone you didn’t want to drink because you are, at the time, possibly pregnant,” stated Minaj. “Imagine if that person said, ‘Oh girl, you can go to the clinic.'”

Those quotes spread across the internet as commenters questioned if Nicki Minaj indirectly slammed Megan Thee Stallion. One Twitter user directly brought up Minaj’s accusations to Megan.

“@theestallion Nicki Minaj is accusing you of encouraging abortion and child endangerment [with] alcohol. This isn’t something to stay quiet on,” wrote @throwawaydakey.

Megan The Stallion quote-tweeted the person and added, “LIE.” Some members of Nicki Minaj’s Barbz fanbase pointed out that Minaj did not mention Meg by name.

“If someone @ you, you can respond right or that don’t apply for every user on Twitter? If someone directly @ my name… why do they be confused when I reply lol?” posted Megan Thee Stallion.

There has been speculation of tension between Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj for several years. Meg’s decision to work with Minaj’s longtime rival Cardi B for their record-breaking 2020 single “WAP” may have caused a rift between Nicki and Meg.

Ms. Hustle Drops New Single Co-Signed By Snoop Dogg; Finally Headed To Death Row Records?

Ms. Hustle is not content with being one of the best female battle rappers to grace the ring, now setting her sights on conquering the music industry.

The Harlem native dubbed “First Lady of URL,” appears to be a step closer to her dream following the release of her latest single, “Let’s Get It.” The track includes a sample of DJ Webster and Young B’s 2006 viral hit, “Chicken Noodle Soup.”

Ms. Hustle explained exclusively to AllHipHop.com that the track came together because she wanted to rep her borough and the female rappers who have put on for Harlem. She also wanted to incorporate a song that “embodies” the best of the female talent in the area and instantly recalled the Harlem classic, “Chicken Noodle Soup.”

Once Hustle posted the finished product, she knew she had to collab with the original artist. She asked fans to tag Young B, now known as Bianca Bonnie, who instantly messaged Hustle to send her the track. “Which was so dope to me,” said Ms. Hustle.

Is Snoop Dogg Bringing Ms. Hustle To Death Row?

Soon after she dropped the song, Snoop Dogg reposted it on his Instagram page, tagging Death Row Records.

Earlier this year, the Doggfather teased that Ms. Hustle would “soon” be coming to the label. Hustle says that deal is being finalized and told fans to “stay tuned,” promising, “the proof is in the pudding.” Check out the clip below and stream the single at the end of the page.

Ms. Hustle assures us more music is on the way and will be “dropping back-to-back,” with a full-length project coming soon.

Despite pursuing her goals as a recording artist, Ms. Hustle hasn’t backed away from battle rap. Her most recent appearances came on Remy Ma’s new women’s league, Chrome 23. The “All The Way Up” rapper launched her platform back in February with a view to helping elevate women’s battle rap.

“Remy Ma definitely brings A LOT to the female battle rap culture,” Ms. Hustle shared. “She actually cares and wants the best for all the girls. Genuinely she wasn’t in this for herself, she takes her time with planning and executing these trailers and events perfectly.”

Megan Thee Stallion flaunted her twerking talents during her MCU debut earlier this month. The three-time Grammy Award winner appeared in episode three of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law where she has a celebratory dance with She-Hulk in her office.

“It is the greatest joy of my life, truly one of the highlights of my entire existence on the planet,” She-Hulk actress Tatiana Maslany told TheWrap. “I’m such a huge fan of hers. And when I found out this was happening — Jessica Gao told me, I think she told me like three days before it was gonna happen. Because she was like, ‘I don’t want you to be in a catatonic state for two weeks. If I had told you this too early, we would not have gotten any filming done.’ So it truly was the greatest. She’s amazing. She’s a queen.”

She continued, “I’ve dreamt of that moment. And so I had trained,” before adding, “there was years of training.”

Kanye West Teases New Yeezy Backpack Resembling Trash Bag

Kanye West incited the wrath of the internet when he launched his latest Yeezy Gap collection last month.

Fans accused the billionaire of using homeless people as fashion muses after images surfaced of the merch being sold out of trash bags. Customers complained clothing was crammed haphazardly into the sacks; “You just have to just dig through everything,” said one critic.

Nonetheless, Ye refused to apologize for his vision, rejecting any notion that he was being “insensitive” to the homeless.

“I’m an innovator,” he told Fox News during an interview at GAP Times Square. “And I’m not here to sit up and apologize for my ideas. That’s exactly what the media tries to do: make us apologize for any idea that doesn’t fall under exactly the way they want us to think.”

He added, “I’m up here literally working on homeless shelters,” and has the documents to prove it. “So no one can tell me I’m insensitive when that stuff that I think about every single day and actually have put my mind and innovation to.”

Kanye West Teases New Yeezy Collection

It appears Kanye West has taken the garbage bag design inspiration a step further with his latest collection. According to a recent post, Ye will soon be selling backpacks that appear to bear a distinct resemblance to a garbage bag.

Kanye took to Instagram on Sunday evening to share a promotional image from a new Yeezy collection. The model wears an oversized boot similar to the unmistakable Balenciaga Steroid boot Kanye West has been sporting all year, as well as an oversized hooded jacket and backpack.

However, the bag strapped across the model’s shoulders looks more like a trash bag than a typical rucksack. Check out the fit below.

While it’s unclear who is modeling the latest merch, Ye tagged Candace Swanepoel in the pic. The South African model also appeared in a promo pic for Kanye’s new YZY GAP SHDZ.

Previous report…

I hope Rotimi is not somewhere taking this personal. But he is probably the last artist we would expect to see performing the theme song to the Atlanta Falcons as they open the National Football League’s 2022-2023 season. Nobody had this on their bingo card!

Here is what all the chatter is about.

I have personally never known the homie to represent The A. And then, it all fell apart. First of all, if you can, look at the comments. Secondly, Tip was the first to step up and ask the question.

Nicki Minaj Calls Out “Entitled Duds” In The New Generation Of Female Rappers

Nicki Minaj claimed she would spill the tea on Queen Radio: “Y’all can’t never be happy for other girls but I’m the bitter one?”

Nicki Minaj has been especially vocal on social media since dropping the “Super Freaky Girl (Queen Mix)” on Friday (Sept. 9).

The new track features all female rappers with appearances from Katie Got Bandz, Akbar V, Maliibu Miitch, JT, and BIA. While the song quickly climbed the charts with fans celebrating the collaboration, Nicki Minaj had something to say for those talking “s### in the group chats.”

She took to the comment section of The Shade Room post of screenshots of several female rappers’ tweets, including Asian Doll, Lakeyah, Coi Leray, and Nicki Minaj herself. The “Do We have A Problem” hitmaker accused the outlet of implying she was responding to the other artists.

Ray J Threatens To Sue Kris Jenner For Denying She Leaked Kim Kardashian Sex Tape

Ray J plans to take legal action against Kris Jenner for denying she was responsible for leaking Kim Kardashian’s infamous 2002 sex tape.

He accused the reality TV mogul of using a fake lie detector test to support her claim that she did not help leak the tape back in 2007. Kris Jenner answered questions about the recording while hooked up to a polygraph during a recent episode of Late Late Show. She denied being behind the leak, and the examiner determined she was telling the truth.

Ray J took to Instagram on Saturday night (Sept. 10), accusing Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian of trying to “bury” him and make him “look like a liar.”

“I don’t know what the f### you think this is, but you have f##### with the wrong person. Period … You done f##### with the wrong Black man,” he said in one video. “I was just gonna handle this s### legally, right, and just hit you in court and just get what I’m deserved from all of y’all being foul and trying to defame me, trying to make me look bad, when YOU know what’s up.”

Ray J Threatens To Expose Kris Jenner

Ray J has insisted he did not leak the tape and previously accused Kris Jenner of “masterminding” its release. He also claims he’s willing to drop the “receipts” to prove it.

He also blasted the polygrapher who administered the test and CBS for airing the segment.

“John Grogan is a fake. He is not a polygraph examiner. He is quite accurately known as the polygraph parasite,” Ray J penned in the caption. “… This is the dude Kris Jenner had taken her lie detector test to make me look like a liar. And what’s more sad is the network allowed it to happen! Everybody getting sued 4 defamation … I can’t wait to show you the truth.”

Nav Left A Drake Collab On The Cutting Room Floor Of ‘Demons Protected By Angels’ Album

Drake recorded a song for Nav’s new album Demons Protected by Angels, but the track didn’t make the cut.

Nav dropped Demons Protected by Angels on Friday (September 9). He explained his Drake collaboration was left off the album in an interview with the Full Send Podcast.

“Drake’s an amazing person,” he said. “We hang out all the time in Toronto. We did a song. I feel like we could’ve done a better song and the timeframe was just not good. It didn’t work out.”

Nav also thought the Drake-assisted track might overshadow other songs on the album.

“He’s such a big artist that I didn’t want to put the song on the album and have it take away from anything else on the album,” he said. “[I didn’t want it to] take away life from all the other moments.”

Nav’s Demons Protected by Angels was released through Republic Records and The Weeknd’s XO Records. The 19-track album included guest appearances by Lil Baby, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Future, Lil Durk, Babyface Ray, Don Toliver, Gunna, Bryson Tiller and RealestK.

Rosario Dawson Was “Anxious” About Making “Clerks III”

Rosario Dawson was nervous and anxious to revisit “Clerks” for the third film in the franchise.

The actress is back playing Becky in “Clerks III,” 16 years after last portraying her in Kevin Smith’s franchise.

Also returning is Jeff Anderson as Randal, Brian O’Halloran as Dante, Kevin as Silent Bob and Jason Mewes as Jay.

The original 1994 film, about convenience store clerks Randal and Dante, has become a cult classic, and Rosario assures fans they won’t be disappointed with the new chapter.

“It has just so much humanity to it. So, yeah, I’m glad it really all worked,” she told Collider. “It was controversial. I was nervous about it. I’ve been really anxious about it, and we did all a bunch of improv and stuff. I didn’t know it was going to be in there, and it’s really special. It’s really amazing, and it was wonderful to see all the stuff that I didn’t get to see on the day because I wasn’t filming every day.”

“I think the fans are going to really love it,” she added.

The production was emotional on another level too, as director and writer Kevin survived a severe heart attack three years before production.

In the movie, Randal suffers a heart attack, and Rosario said the plot hit close to home.

“I was ugly crying during the premiere,” she shared. “I was glad my make-up survived, but I have been wanting to see this story for a long time. Not particularly this story. I didn’t know that, until I read the script, exactly what it was going to look like, but I’ve been wanting to catch up with these characters for a while, and it was poignant because it’s not just a story. It’s a reality. We almost lost Kevin to a heart attack. We wouldn’t have had this movie. We wouldn’t have had so many different things.”
“Clerks III” hits cinemas on September 13th.
