Drake Trashes Spotify In Middle Of Dueling Bot War Lawsuits

Drake took a pointed jab at Spotify during a recent live stream with Bendadonn, calling the platform “Botify” while previewing his upcoming ICEMAN project.

The comment creates layers of irony, given the swirling bot allegations surrounding multiple parties in Hip-Hop’s streaming wars.

“I can play it on Botify real quick, I mean Sp…” Drake said during the stream, catching himself mid-sentence but making his point clear.

The dig comes as Drake continues his legal battle against Universal Music Group, where he accused the label of using bots and artificial streaming manipulation to boost Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us.”

Drake’s lawsuit against UMG claimed the company “launched a campaign to manipulate and saturate the streaming services and airwaves” to artificially inflate Kendrick’s track.

He alleged UMG used bots, payola schemes and other deceptive practices to push “Not Like Us” to over 900 million streams, making it the most-streamed diss track in Spotify history.

But the bot allegations create a twisted irony.

Just months after Drake’s legal action, rapper RBX filed a class-action lawsuit against Spotify, alleging the platform ignored “billions of fraudulent streams” that allegedly inflated Drake’s numbers. The lawsuit alleges that Drake benefited from bot accounts that used VPN technology to obscure their locations and artificially inflate his streaming counts.

RBX’s legal team claims the fraudulent Drake streams cost other artists hundreds of millions in lost revenue. The lawsuit points explicitly to “abnormal VPN usage” that masked the locations of bot accounts streaming Drake’s catalog.

This puts Drake in an unusual position: accusing others of bot manipulation while simultaneously being accused of benefiting from the same practice. But Drake’s “Botify” comment suggests he still harbors resentment toward the platform, even as he needs its algorithmic support for ICEMAN‘s upcoming release.

Drake’s relationship with Spotify remains complicated but profitable.

Despite the legal drama and bot allegations, he dominated the platform in 2025, with over 17.6 billion streams. The numbers represent his biggest streaming year ever on Spotify, pushing his total platform streams past 125 billion, making him the first artist to reach that milestone.

His 2025 streaming success came even as the Kendrick Lamar beef dominated headlines and “Not Like Us” became a cultural phenomenon.

JD Vance Uses Nicki Minaj As Pawn To Race-Bait After AmeriFest Appearance

JD Vance used Nicki Minaj‘s appearance at AmeriFest in Phoenix to push his own narrative on race and identity politics, twisting her remarks into a broader attack on diversity initiatives and doubling down on rhetoric that critics say stokes racial division.

This morning (December 22), the VEEP hopped on X.com to spew more racial nonsense.

“Nicki Minaj said something at Amfest that was really profound. I’m paraphrasing, but she said, ‘just because I want little black girls to think they’re beautiful doesn’t mean I need to put down little girls with blonde hair and blue eyes,” JD Vance said.

He added, “We all got wrapped up over the last few years in zero sum thinking. This was because the people who think they rule the world pit us against one another. Nicki Minaj rejects that. We all should.”

The Vice President’s remarks followed Minaj’s remarks at the same event, in which she reflected on self-worth and societal beauty norms.

“I don’t need someone with blonde hair and blue eyes to downplay their beauty because I know my beauty. Do you understand? It doesn’t bother me that a woman feels and says that she’s beautiful. Why shouldn’t she feel that?” she said. “Why have we gotten to a point where certain colors or certain kinds of people have to be afraid of loving themselves and loving the way they look?”

Nicki Minaj continued, “I don’t want what was done to little black girls done to little white girls. I don’t want it done to any girl. I want all little girls in the world to know that you are unique. You are beautiful.”

Shortly after Nicki Minaj’s surprise onstage conversation, Vance praised the rapper’s comments on beauty standards but quickly pivoted to his own agenda, with some dog whistling.

“Unlike the left, we stand against treating anybody, and I love what Nicki said about this. We don’t treat anybody different because of their race or their sex,” Vance said. “So we have relegated DEI to the dustbin of history, which is exactly where it belongs. In the United States of America, you don’t have to apologize for being white anymore.”

Minaj’s appearance at the conservative gathering raised eyebrows across the political spectrum. During her chat with Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk, the Hip-Hop star praised both President Donald Trump and Vance.

“I have the utmost respect and admiration for our President. I don’t know if he even knows this, but he’s given so many people hope,” she said. “This administration is full of people with heart and soul, and they make me proud of them. Our Vice President, he makes me… well, I love both of them… Both of them have a very uncanny ability to be someone that you relate to.”

Minaj also took aim at California Governor Gavin Newsom, calling him “New-scum” while criticizing his stance on transgender youth issues.

In an awkward moment, Minaj referred to Vance as “the assassin JD Vance” before realizing she was sitting next to Kirk, whose husband, Charlie Kirk, was shot and killed earlier this year.

Kirk responded with grace, saying, “If the Internet wants to clip it, who cares? I love this woman. She’s an amazing woman. She has a soul and a heart for the Lord. And words are words, but I know her heart, and it doesn’t even matter.”

Minaj, who has recently become more vocal about political issues, also spoke at the United Nations in November, where she addressed Christian persecution in Nigeria and voiced support for Trump.

Cardi B’s Face Takes Over The Sky In Wild Miami Drone Display

Cardi B lit up the Miami skyline Saturday night with a dazzling drone display celebrating her chart-topping album Am I The Drama? and upcoming Little Miss Drama Tour.

The Hip-Hop star stood beneath a sky filled with synchronized drones forming her face, album visuals and even a scannable QR code linking to tour details.

The spectacle marked a high-tech tribute to her sophomore album’s success and her first arena headlining tour, which launches in February 2026. In a video posted after the show, Cardi B said, “I love my fan base…we be doing the damn thing!!!”

The Miami drone show capped off a string of unconventional promotional stunts tied to Am I The Drama?, which dropped September 19 via Atlantic Records.

The 23-track project blends Hip-Hop with pop and Latin sounds and features a packed guest list including Megan Thee Stallion, Summer Walker, Selena Gomez, and Janet Jackson. The expanded edition adds Latto, Jeezy and Bruno Mars.

The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 200,000 units, and features past hits such as “WAP” and “Up,” alongside new tracks like “Imaginary Playerz.”

Lyrically, Cardi mixes braggadocio with personal reflections on fame, motherhood and messy relationships. She takes direct shots at BIA, Offset and other unnamed rivals.

To promote the release, Cardi returned to grassroots tactics, selling CDs on sidewalks and filming subway skits in New York. She also leaned into humor on Instagram Live, telling viewers, “I’m broke if you don’t buy this.”

In one of her boldest moves, she teamed with Walmart, Atlantic Records and drone company Wing to deliver 176 physical copies of the album via drone in under an hour across the Dallas–Fort Worth area. That stunt earned her a Guinness World Record for “most drone deliveries in one hour for an album.”

The Little Miss Drama Tour will hit more than 30 cities across North America, with early shows in Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta already sold out. Due to demand, additional dates have been added.

Big Sean Takes Detroit Pistons Global As City Teams Tap Homegrown Rap Stars

Big Sean landed a major promotion with his hometown Detroit Pistons, stepping into the role of Creative Director of Global Experience to help take the franchise worldwide.

The Detroit native will lead the team’s community outreach and expand its international fan base through creative projects that showcase Motor City culture on the global stage.

His new position builds on his previous work as Creative Director of Innovation, where he helped design team merchandise and enhanced in-game experiences.

“It’s been an honor to serve the Pistons community, and stepping into this expanded role as Creative Director of Global Experience allows me to do it on an even bigger scale,” Big Sean said. “Detroit has always been rich with talent and culture, and my mission is to keep opening doors and hiring our city’s creatives to shine alongside one of the most iconic franchises in sports.”

The rapper launched “Creatives Across Continents” on World Basketball Day, inviting international designers and artists to create original works inspired by Detroit Basketball.

Selected artists will collaborate with Big Sean on a retail collection dropping in 2026.

Big Sean has already collaborated on several Pistons projects, including the Don Life practice jerseys and the 2022-23 “St. C’s” Nike NBA City Edition uniforms.

The Pistons plan to share more details on partnerships related to NBA All-Star Weekend, 313 Day celebrations, and additional retail collaborations in 2026.

Detroit sports franchises are increasingly tapping their homegrown Hip-Hop talent to boost their brands.

Eminem recently signed a multi-year deal with the Detroit Lions to executive-produce their Thanksgiving halftime shows through 2027. The partnership kicked off this year with Jack White and Post Malone performing during the holiday show.

Both deals represent a strategic shift for Detroit’s major sports teams, which recognize the global appeal of their city’s legendary rap artists.

Texas Roadhouse customer sends back steak, calls it ‘disgusting’ and ‘raw.’ Then the servers take one look at it in the back

Texas Roadhouse is known for a lot of things: Warm bread rolls, cactus blossom, and of course, freshly cut steaks. However, this customer is not a fan of her steak and claims her meat was “disgusting and raw.” What really happened?

TikTok creator @_lolkota, shows a plate being returned to the kitchen with a steak on it. In the video, @_lolkota shows a Texas Roadhouse employee holding onto the steak laughing. “Noah, what did they say?” asks @_lolkota.

Noah answers, “She said this is disgusting and raw.” The steak on the plate very obviously appears to be well-done, hence the joke.

The video has 187,900 likes and has 2,200,000 views.

How to Order the Perfect Steak

So what is the issue with the steak? Why did the customer send it back? Perhaps it wasn’t seasoned to her liking and the rarity was not to her preference. Although, it’s hard to imagine a steak cooked more than the one in the video. So how exactly do you measure the rarity of a steak?

The easiest way to assess how well or rare a steak is cooked is by its color. The more pink/red, the higher the amount of blood still in the meat and the more rare. The browner/paler it is, the more well or cooked it is. Another trick is the face touch trick.

According to Food 52, you can test the rarity of your steak by comparing its softness to different parts of your face. If a steak is cooked medium rare, it should be comparable to the plushness of your cheeks. If it’s cooked medium well, it can be compared to the firmness of your forehead. And if it’s medium, it should feel like your chin.

Viewers React to the Steak Temperature

“That’s like arguably overcooked for most,” said one commenter.

“Was she looking for this?” another viewer stated with a picture of coal attached implying it is already well done.

“If that’s raw I may as well just be eating a live cow,” joked another viewer.

Humanoid Robots Gunning For Live Breakdancers After Stunning China Show

Humanoid robots delivered a performance Thursday night that has the entertainment world asking if machines could soon replace live breakdancers.

Six robots from Unitree Robotics took the stage alongside Chinese American singer Wang Leehom during his concert in Chengdu, executing moves that would make professional B-Boys take notice.

The robots didn’t just stand and sway. They performed coordinated arm motions, leg kicks, turns and jumps that stayed perfectly synced with the music during Leehom’s performance of “Open Fire.”

But the real showstopper came when all six machines executed Webster flips simultaneously – a move that requires serious athletic skill when humans attempt it.

Dressed in silver sequined outfits, the robots moved with precision that human dancers spend years trying to achieve. Videos from the concert show the machines hitting every beat without missing a step.

The performance was so polished that some audience members didn’t immediately realize they were watching robots instead of human performers.

Elon Musk took notice of the display, resharing footage on X and calling the performance “impressive,” showing that robots have moved beyond simple, repetitive tasks into creative expression once exclusively human territory.

Just months ago, during China’s Spring Festival Gala, robots were limited to basic movements, such as spinning handkerchiefs. Now they’re executing complex acrobatic sequences that rival professional dance crews.

Unitree Robotics has been developing what they call “Keep the Music Going, Keep the Dance Flowing” technology since February.

This system allows their G1 robots to maintain synchronized movement with music across different models and versions. The company isn’t stopping at concert performances; they’re exploring how these robots could perform dance routines in everyday settings.

The implications for Hip-Hop culture and breakdancing are significant. Breakdancing requires years of training, physical conditioning and creative expression. But robots don’t get tired, don’t miss rehearsals and can perform the same routine flawlessly night after night.

They can also execute moves that might be too dangerous for human performers or maintain perfect synchronization across large groups.

Social media users have been debating whether this technology signals the end of human dancers in live entertainment. Some praised the robots’ technical precision while others worried about losing the human element that makes dance an art form.

There’s no need to fear: while robots can master technical moves, they lack the improvisation, emotion and cultural connection that human dancers bring to the art form.

The question becomes whether audiences will accept technical perfection over human creativity and soul.

‘Their eyes will bug out’: Baltimore HVAC pro says never buy without asking this question. Even if you’re offered 0% financing. It’ll expose them

A Baltimore HVAC professional has some advice if you’re installing a new system. Make sure you ask about contractor fees on your financing, because 0% financing usually isn’t free.

TikTok creator @Bradknowshvac shared a big secret within that professionals: Many HVAC companies work with third-party lenders, which creates big contractor fee percentages that aren’t disclosed properly.

Financing fees, according to Brad, range from 6-7% but can be as high as 13-16%. The financing price, then, would be higher than the cash or check price for the services, despite these professionals offering supposed “0% financing.”

Are HVAC Salespeople Taking Advantage of Homeowners?

Brad also added that many companies build this fee into their upfront quote, which means that some consumers may still overpay without a cash discount.

“That’s getting added to the cost of your job,” Brad said. “If you don’t ask what the contractor’s fee is, if you don’t bring it up as a topic, a lot of providers have already built it into their job cost. So if you do in fact pay cash or check, they’re making more money on you. They already have the contractor fee built into the price.

Brad explained that he personally chooses to be transparent by offering separate cash and financing prices and clearly explaining the fee. In his eyes, homeowners should ask about contractor fees and cash pricing to make sure they’re not getting scammed. In essence, Brad advocates that if you pay for your HVAC services in cash, you should ask for the contractor fee to be removed.

Brad isn’t the only one who figured out this issue. A blog called the Project Warden called the phenomenon the “0% financing trap,” explaining that HVAC contractors can sometimes inflate the total price of the job to make up for a dealer fee that the company is charged by the bank serving the loan.

And that’s not the only contractor fee frustrating homeowners. So-called “visit fees” are also becoming a red flag for consumers when it comes to choosing contractors.

Brad’s HVAC Experience and Value Proposition

The HVAC professional has been in the business since 2003, working in in-home HVAC sales. According to his website, Brad was “witness to homeowners being taken advantage of on a regular basis.” Companies had price-gouging policies, which made Brad feel “sick.”

He moved into the industrial and mechanical space in 2008-2009, but did some residential HVAC work. Now, Brad posts “HVAC Truths” on his professional website, helping consumers understand coupons, rebates and other issues with HVAC installation.

Brad urges home-owners to be skeptical of discounts, prices, rebates and sales pitches. “If you are getting offers from a provider to discount your price on a new HVAC system by $750, $1,000, $1,500 or more then you should be asking why they didn’t offer you that price to begin with,” Brad said on his website.

How Posting on Social Media Backfired

According to his TikTok videos, the advice he offers online has also gotten him placed on scam call lines. In his video, he explained that his phone number recently got put into a lead generating service. Brad’s phone number has hundreds of lumber workers, roofers, and solar employees” contacting him.

Despite that, little has stopped him from posting additional advice for homeowners. He even offers a tip line for anyone to contact him and ask if they’re getting a fair deal.

“If you have already gotten your estimates and proposals, but are not sure how to navigate through them to decide which one is best for you, I am happy to answer any questions you may have by text, email, phone or live video message. I do not charge a set amount for this service. Instead, I allow the customer to decide what my services are worth to them,” Brad said on his professional website.

All Hip Hop has reached out to Brad for more information. We’ll let you know if he responds.

Jake Paul Got Slumped, But Ring Girl Lexi Williams Delivered The KO Nobody Recovered From

If you watched Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua for the boxing, you’re lying.

The real main event started the second Lexi Williams stepped ringside in that red MVP outfit — thighs glistening under the Kaseya Center lights, booty sitting so damn perfect it deserved its own walkout music and that stupid-fine smile that hit harder than Joshua’s right hand.

Anthony Joshua knocked Jake Paul out in round six, but Lexi knocked out every man watching before round one even started.

And the wildest part? This wasn’t even new for her. The woman came into fight night with Hall of Fame stats already.

View this post on Instagram

Lexi, 31, Jamaican-American, Miami Swim Week veteran, 2-million-follower IG problem, certified Fashion Nova weapon, and one of MVP Models’ elite ring girls, had the entire arena acting like they’d never seen a curve before.

She’d already worked Paul’s fight with Mike Tyson earlier this year, and the internet crowned her the MVP then, too.

Her résumé was stacked. Her body was stacked-er. Fans weren’t tweeting about combos, footwork, or scorecards; they were trying to figure out how a human being could have a waist that tiny and a backside that disrespectful.

And for anyone still wondering how she became the night’s breakout star? Scroll her IG. She had the pre-fight timeline warming everybody up like she knew she was about to ruin marriages.

View this post on Instagram

In one video montage, Lexi is wearing a tiny chocolate-brown bikini that looks spray-painted onto her body. The top is small and lifted, pushing her cleavage up and out so cleanly it becomes the first thing anyone sees. Her waist is ridiculously tight, almost absurd, and the bikini bottoms sit high on her hips, pulling attention straight to her curves. Her booty looks full and round from the side.

By the time she shared the spotlight with fellow MVP models, Raphaela Milagres, Marissa Ayers, and Journi Carr, the debate online wasn’t “Who won the fight?”

It was “How are we supposed to watch boxing with Lexi Williams on the screen?”

Jake Paul lost twice that night, once to Anthony Joshua and once to Lexi, who stole his entire damn show.

Jake Paul Should Take Year Off Post-Knockout, Doctor Says

Jake Paul might have to take more time off than previously expected.

After an ambitious step up against former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, a specialist in jawbones is advising a full year away from the ring following significant facial trauma.

Paul’s Saturday night loss in Miami ended in decisive fashion when Joshua destroyed Paul him over six rounds at the Kaseya Center. After multiple knockdowns the bout concluded with a devastating right hand in the sixth round that produced Paul’s first stoppage defeat as a professional.

Paul was subsequently hospitalized with serious jaw damage.

Post-fight images shared by Paul confirmed fractures on both sides of his mandible. Surgeons stabilized the injury with titanium plates and removed teeth damaged along the fracture line. Paul said he would be restricted to a liquid diet for at least seven days while beginning the early stages of recovery.

Dr. Daria Hamrah a specialist in sports-related facial trauma, facelifts and rhinoplasty publicly addressed the injury. In an Instagram post the doctor praised Paul’s willingness to face an elite heavyweight while urging patience and restraint going forward.

Citing a bilateral mandible fracture Dr. Hamrah recommended that Paul avoid boxing for a minimum of one year explaining that jaw strength typically requires that length of time to return to pre-injury levels. He also noted that Paul will likely need dental implants to replace teeth lost in the injury with that process alone taking about six months.

“I would not recommend for him to get back into the Ring for at least a year as it will take roughly that amount of time for his jaw strength to regain its original strength back,” he said in the post.

In a second post, Dr. Hamrah said that nine months would be the fastest he would advise Paul’s return to the ring.

Paul’s fiancée Jutta Leerdam offered encouragement on social media echoing calls for recovery over urgency.

For now the headline is no longer about a quick comeback. With a year-long medical pause advised Paul faces a period of healing reflection and recalibration as the boxing world watches to see not just if he returns but how carefully he chooses his next move.

Donald Trump Slammed After Epstein Files Vanish Amidst DOJ Cover-Up Claims

Donald Trump faced fresh controversy after the Department of Justice quietly removed at least 16 files from the Jeffrey Epstein document release without explanation.

The deleted materials included photographs of the president found at Epstein’s residence.

The removed file numbered 468 contained a photograph of Epstein’s desk with drawers open. Inside sat a photo of Donald Trump in a white shirt standing with several women, including at least one wearing a bikini.

Behind that image was another, partially visible photo showing Trump, Melania Trump, and Ghislaine Maxwell at Mar-a-Lago in February 2000.

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee called the deletions a cover-up. “This photo, file 468, from the Epstein files that includes Donald Trump has apparently now been removed from the DOJ release,” they wrote on X.

“What else is being covered up? We need transparency for the American public.”

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer accused the administration of “one of the biggest cover ups in American history.” He referenced comments from Susie Wiles about Trump and Epstein being “young, single playboys together.”

Epstein survivors expressed deep disappointment with the heavily redacted release. Haley Robson, who voted for Trump but now regrets it, told reporters she expected the administration’s “little tactics.” She said survivors already knew “we were not going to see the files as we should be getting them.”

Marina Lacerda, another Epstein survivor, said victims felt “really disappointed” but “in some ways we kind of expected this.” Survivors criticized the selective redactions that appeared to protect influential figures rather than victims.

The document dump also featured prominent photos of Bill Clinton alongside other celebrities.

Clinton appeared in multiple images in a hot tub, while figures such as Michael Jackson and Diana Ross appeared at various events. His spokesperson dismissed the photos, stating, “This isn’t about Bill, never has been.”

Chris Tucker also appeared in several photographs within the released files. The comedian was spotted in images alongside Clinton and other high-profile figures at Epstein-connected events.

The Justice Department acknowledged it would not release all documents by the December 19 deadline set by the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Officials promised more files would come in over the next two weeks, though hundreds of pages remained entirely blacked out.

A White House spokesperson defended the administration as “the most transparent in history.”

They claimed Trump’s team had “done more for the victims than Democrats ever have” by releasing thousands of pages and cooperating with congressional subpoenas.

Brodie Fresh’s Dad Was Shot & Everything Changed In His Life

The moment you hear his new music, it is easy to tell that Brodie Fresh is moving differently.

Fresh has a renewed purpose. The Long Island native sits down to unpack the real story behind his music, his life and the journey that shaped him. From growing up as a preacher’s kid and witnessing firsthand the sacrifices that come with faith and family, to navigating the streets, jail time, marriage and fatherhood. All of this collides with independence in the music business and a new Gangsta Grillz project with DJ Drama.

Brodie speaks with clarity and honesty. His new record “Glory,” a deeply personal tribute to his late father, has resonated far beyond expectations. He’s beyond chasing club formulas or typical features. In this conversation with AllHipHop, Brodie Fresh tells Slopsshotya how survival mode molded his mindset, why balance matters more now than ever, and what he’s still chasing now.

Now a resident of Houston, Texas, Brodie lives in a homegrown ecosystem where artists can build deep in-state. That’s the intersection Brody Fresh resides in: a Long Island artist living in Houston, telling a preacher’s-kid story with street chapters, family scars and a brave, new mission.

AllHipHop: Now that you’re in Houston, is that getting integrated into the music?

Brodie Fresh: I wouldn’t say Houston’s integrated, but some of their grind is definitely integrated. Houston is really underground, building up. When you think of Pimp C and a lot of their artists, they homegrown and they really built theyself up in their city. But us being from New York, Texas is so big that an artist could survive in Texas alone. You could perform San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Houston and you still got places eight, nine hours away and you still in the same state. They big on building their platforms in their home state.

AllHipHop: When I went to the club out there, it felt like the young kids still know the oldies. And they don’t really play too much New York music.

Brodie Fresh: They don’t. You hit a 50 Cent and like a Pop Smoke. That’s one of those.

AllHipHop: And don’t ask them for no reggae.

Brodie Fresh: Oh no. It’s over for that. You got to go to a brunch and you might get Afrobeat.

AllHipHop: You’ve got an EP coming, and Preacher’s Kid feels like the big one. Is this your debut album?

Brodie Fresh: Yeah, I would say so. I never really call something a full-on album. But at the point I’m at, it’s like that one.

AllHipHop: The irony is it’s hosted by DJ “Pastor” Drama. Usually, when Drama hosts, people think Gangsta Grillz mixtape. What separates the old Gangsta Grillz mixtape feel from a project like yours?

Brodie Fresh: It technically is Gangsta Grillz still, but more recently Drama started venturing into more albums. He did a Gangsta Grillz album with Symba. He got the Grammy with Tyler. He just did the new album with Jeezy. So for me, Preacher’s Kid is me embodying myself and telling my story, being a preacher’s kid, and what that’s like, from every angle.

AllHipHop: Are the rumors true about PKs?

Brodie Fresh: It’s funny because I was having that conversation the other day. Everywhere you go, they like, “Oh, the PKs is the worst.” It’s never really been highlighted why. So it’s stuff I talk about. There’s a song called “Collection Plate.” I’m essentially talking about the fact that I feel like the church owes us. They owe my family because they took away so much time from my pops, from us, because they needed him.

I could have a basketball game on Sunday at 2:30 and church end at 2. He gonna come straight from church but Sister Mary needs him, she crying. So now he ends up talking to her and missing my game. It’s a lot of time we need with our parents, we end up missing out because they got to be there for all these adults.

And once you get older, you start realizing a lot of these things were things people could have handled on their own, but they were irresponsible or not taking accountability. So they cry on the pastor and try to get an answer for things they really knew what they needed to change. But it took a lot of time away from the family.

AllHipHop: You’re married, you’re a traveling artist. How do you not repeat cycles?

Brodie Fresh: I try to create a work-life balance. I’m still working on it. I can’t say I’m perfect, but I do my best. With my kids, I talk to my kids every day. I have two kids that don’t live with me. The ones that do live with me, they see me every morning. I’m there with them every single day. We take them out every week and just be there, be present.

As we got older, we didn’t understand why our parents was gone so much, but they were in survival mode. Especially us being from Long Island. My pops from Harlem. My mom from Queens. Them moving to Elmont at that time was like an award, like, “Yo we made it out to Long Island.” But what comes with that is more bills. So now it’s taking away more of our time because we at work all day long, two jobs to maintain this new life.

AllHipHop: What’s the difference between Preacher’s Kid and Altar Call?

Brodie Fresh: Preacher’s Kid breaks down a bunch of different stories. It’s not a church album. I experienced every walk of life. Being outside, gangster stuff, going to jail, different things. I’m telling all that in a story that’s bringing light but not praising the wrong things. Just showing what happened in my life that drew me to those things.

Altar Call is like bringing yourself to God and making that change. It’s building up to Preacher’s Kid where I talk about the necessary changes I made and what I went through that caused me to make those changes, then I go into the life story.

AllHipHop: Did you run this series past your dad? What would his feelings be?

Brodie Fresh: My dad passed in 2022. When he was here, we talked about it all the time. My pops didn’t grow up in church. He turned to God at a certain point. He got shot. My dad was a below-the-knee amputee, so he had one leg.

For him, it was like he could reach the people that decided they wanted God and wanted to change. And I could reach the people that feel like they don’t know yet. As I got older, I realized for me, church and God was just knowing what’s right and what’s wrong. Doing your best to do what’s right and the least of what’s wrong.

He would be like, “You can reach people that haven’t decided yet or haven’t taken accountability.” They look at you and feel like, “I could relate to him.” They feel more comfortable hearing it from me than hearing it from a pastor because they feel like they being talked down on, not talked to, or talked with. So he was cool with it. Big supporter.

AllHipHop: Do you think about him when you’re making something like this?

Brodie Fresh: Absolutely. This album is dedicated to my pops. I want to tell our story, and tell parts of his story, because he made it through a lot. People need to see other people made it through something they going through to be able to get through it.

AllHipHop: Any dream collaborations for this inspirational lane?

Brodie Fresh: I’m trying to do something with Kirk Franklin. I’m working with a couple different people trying to get in that lane.

AllHipHop: What do you want this project to do for you? Numbers, touring, impact?

Brodie Fresh: Ultimately, that next level up. I’ve been blessed. I toured almost every year since 2013. Most recently I came off tour with Dom Kennedy in April. I toured with Nipsey Hussle, Conway the Machine, Benny the Butcher, Boldy James. I want to get to where I can be the headliner, gain that next level of fan base, and really grow that base.

AllHipHop: What did you learn from those tours?

Brodie Fresh: Consistency and building your team.

AllHipHop: You got the right team now?

Brodie Fresh: I’m getting there. About 80% there.

AllHipHop: What’s missing?

Brodie Fresh: A couple little pieces. Management is coming together, but it’s more than just one person. I always managed myself. Never had a manager my entire career. I got myself on tours by building relationships and doing it myself. I’m trying to get to that point where I can fall back and not try to do everything. When you love it so much, and people let you down, you like, “I ain’t giving nobody a shot. I’ll do it myself.” This project is so special, it has to be done correctly.

AllHipHop: Any features on it?

Brodie Fresh: Yeah. I got my man Lights from Philly. I got a record with Sauce Walka. Houston leaked in there a little.

AllHipHop: AllHipHop tradition. Give us your Top five.

Brodie Fresh: Jadakiss. Jay-Z. J. Cole. Kendrick. Drake. People hate Drake, but in my opinion, he one of the greatest artists to ever live. He like LeBron, you gonna get the hate.

AllHipHop: Do you think we’ll ever get another generation of goats with 10-plus years staying power?

Brodie Fresh: I feel like it’s coming back around. We got to adapt. Times change. Branding is so important now because people want to see people’s lives, understand their lives, see how they relate. A lot of these people aren’t even who they say in their music. So seeing who you are outside the music might bring it back to people keeping somebody around.

AllHipHop: Some people think labels might not want anybody that powerful again.

Brodie Fresh: It’s how you look at success. I had a point where I was like, “Man, I’m quitting.” I talked to somebody I look up to, he played in the NFL. He got injured and couldn’t play no more. I asked him how he coped. He said, “First off, you got it wrong. I didn’t love it. I loved what it could do for me.” He said when you started music, what did you want?

A$AP Rocky Set To Make SNL Musical Guest Debut Following Major Career Victory

A$AP Rocky landed his first SNL musical guest spot on January 17, marking a career milestone after beating felony assault charges and preparing for his biggest year yet.

According to Deadline, the Harlem rapper will perform on Saturday Night Live for the first time when the show returns from its Christmas break. Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things will host the NBC program on January 17.

Rocky previously appeared on SNL in 2018 during Donald Glover’s hosting stint, but this marks his debut as the featured musical act. This SNL booking comes at the perfect time for A$AP Rocky.

He just beat serious felony charges that could have derailed everything. A Los Angeles jury found him not guilty in February 2025 on two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm.

The case stemmed from a 2021 shooting incident involving his former friend A$AP Relli. Rocky faced up to 24 years in prison if convicted.

The legal victory cleared the path for Rocky’s biggest moves yet. He dropped the bombshell that his long-delayed fourth album, Don’t Be Dumb, finally has a release date. The project hits streaming platforms on January 16, 2026 – just one day before his SNL performance. Rocky has been teasing this album for years, but legal drama kept pushing the release back.

“It’s the perfect time for both me and Rihanna to be more active,” Rocky said in a recent interview about his career plans.

Speaking of Rihanna, the power couple welcomed their third child in September 2025. Baby girl Rocki Irish Mayers was born on September 13, joining big brothers RZA and Riot Rose.

The growing family has kept Rocky motivated through his most challenging year.

Rocky also locked down a major fashion deal after Chanel named him a brand ambassador, cementing his status as a style icon. The luxury fashion house partnership adds another revenue stream as Rocky prepares to roll out his album.

His SNL appearance will give him a massive platform to promote Don’t Be Dumb to millions of viewers. The timing couldn’t be better – performing on national television just weeks before his album drops.

Rocky has always been a dynamic live performer, and SNL’s stage will showcase his energy to a mainstream audience.

The January 17 show represents Rocky’s full comeback story. He went from facing decades in prison to celebrating legal victory, new fatherhood, luxury brand deals and his most anticipated album yet.

‘I felt something weird’: Vegas customer buys Parent’s Choice purified water at Walmart. Then she pours a glass

A Las Vegas grandmother shares a video of a strange material floating in a bottle of Walmart-brand Parent’s Choice water. Viewers are in disbelief and grossed out.

TikTok creator Toni (@toni4jesus) posted a video with the woman’s discovery on Nov. 11. “I felt something weird coming from the bottle and I immediately stopped drinking it,” the other in the video says. “I had already swallowed a couple of gulps. I dumped the rest of this bottle into this glass.”

The woman then proceeds to show viewers the bottle she was drinking from: Parent’s Choice, which, according to the label, is fluoride free. In the cup, viewers can see two globs of white material floating in the water. Toni tells the woman to spray the material with alcohol, which she does. “It starts moving,” she says.

“Found parasites in bottled water,” says the video’s layered text. The video has almost 3,000 likes and over 78,300 views.

Las Vegas Woman Finds ‘Parasites’ in Bottled Water

In the comments, viewers discuss what the “parasites” could actually be and expressed disgust at their appearance in this bottled water.

“That’s why I drink tap water filtered by me,” said one viewer.

“She didn’t see that in the clear bottle???” asked a second person. Toni replied, “I think it was because the bottle was so small. It’s the 8-oz bottle. The label actually covers most of the bottle. When you don’t inspect your water first, you wouldn’t realize until you feel it in your mouth.”

Another viewer guessed, “Bacterial colony.”

Is Bottled Water Safe to Drink?

There are several options for clean water sources. In some cities, tap water is perfectly safe to drink. Other households prefer to purify their tap water with a filtration system. And of course, then there’s bottled water. But what’s actually the safest choice?

While bottled water is often considered the safest option for drinking, there are other solid options. One drawback from bottled water is that it may contain microplastics.

“Studies have shown that some bottled water can contain microplastics, chemicals from plastic leaching, and even bacteria if not stored properly,” says the pipe company Reliable Services.

This company recommends a high-quality home water filtration system. That way you can skip the microplastics altogether.

One of those studies in particular found that antimony, a contaminant from industrious sources like mining and natural leaching, was found in several bottled water brands in Europe and Canada.

All Hip Hop has reached out to Toni for comment via TikTok message and comment. We also reached out to Walmart, Parent’s Choice umbrella company, via email.

Busta Rhymes Stops Lagos Show To Reveal Search For Nigerian Bride

Busta Rhymes lit up Lagos with more than just his music Friday night when he told a roaring crowd at Detty December Fest that he’s not only looking to buy property in Nigeria, but also to find a wife.

The Hip-Hop veteran made the unexpected announcement during his performance at Ilubirin in Ikoyi, marking his first time back in Nigeria in 15 years.

The Brooklyn-born rapper paused mid-set to share his plans with the audience, who responded with cheers and disbelief.

“Even though it took 15 years, we are home. This trip was special to me because it wasn’t just about a show. I’m looking for a home here, I’m looking for property,” he said. “I’m thinking about looking for a wife so that when I stop, I can settle down here. There will be a few Nigerian slash Jamaican grandchildren.”

One woman can be heard screaming excitedly, “I am your property, I am your property!”

The moment quickly became the night’s most talked-about highlight, with social media buzzing about his declaration. The rapper, who has six children with four women but has never been married, is making a real statement about his future.

As for his show, Busta Rhymes didn’t disappoint on stage.

He powered through a catalog of hits like “Touch It” and “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See,” while also weaving in Afrobeats rhythms that paid homage to the local sound.

The night also featured surprise guest appearances by Nigerian stars Tiwa Savage, M.I Abaga, and Ill Bliss, creating a cultural blend that reflected Busta’s growing connection to Nigeria.

His ties to the country run deeper than just admiration. He’s collaborated with Nigerian artists, including Burna Boy, and his interest in local real estate and family life suggests he’s thinking long-term.

With more than 20 million albums sold globally and a recent Hollywood Walk of Fame star award in 2025, Busta remains one of Hip-Hop’s most legendary artists.

Nicki Minaj Sits Down With Erika Kirk In Shocking Appearance At AmericaFest, Fawns Over Donald Trump

Nicki Minaj made a surprise appearance at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest on Sunday, joining new CEO Erika Kirk for a Q&A session that highlighted the rapper’s growing alignment with conservative politics.

The “Super Bass” artist took the stage as an unannounced guest, telling the crowd, “I’m honored to be here” before praising both President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance.

Minaj said the two leaders have an “uncanny” ability to connect with the American people.

“I love both of them,” Nicki Minaj said during the session. “I have the utmost respect and admiration for our president. He’s given so many people hope that there’s a chance to beat the bad guys and to win and to do it with your head held high and your integrity intact. He’s from Queens, New York, like me. He’s been through everything a person could be through, publicly,” Nicki Minaj said.

“Having to constantly be lied on. It’s not that funny. Until you are in that person’s shoes, that’s being lied on, you’ll never understand what it feels like. That person is a human being. They have a family who has to read those lies, and it’s just not fair.”

“This administration is full of people with heart and soul, and they make me proud of them. Our Vice President makes me, well, I love both of them. They’re both powerful men, smart, strong, all of that. But both of them have a very uncanny ability to be someone that you relate to. I can relate to them. When I hear them speak, I know that they’re one of us,” Nicki Minaj added.

The rapper said she reached a breaking point after being criticized and realized her inner strength outweighed outside pressure. She stopped caring about others’ opinions and decided to stand firm, refusing to back down.

“This is not what the world used to feel like and especially for the young people, I don’t want them growing up in a world where they feel like that. I mean, they deserve for their voices to be heard,” Nicki Minaj said. “They have valid feelings, and they’re thinking about things, and it deserves attention. You know, we should listen to what they’re saying. And if you’re growing up in a world that tells you it’s taboo to say something that the masses don’t agree with, that’s not okay.”

Minaj’s appearance comes after months of increasingly public support for Trump’s administration. She recently spoke at the United Nations in November about Christian persecution in Nigeria, working directly with Trump’s team on the issue.

The rapper posted on social media, thanking “the President & his team for taking this seriously” and asking people to “lift them up in prayer.”

Her political shift represents a dramatic departure from her previous support for the Democratic Party. Nicki Minaj previously backed Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton but has moved toward Republican positions over the past year.

She’s repeatedly attacked California Governor Gavin Newsom over transgender policies and shared pro-Trump content on social media. Erika Kirk now leads Turning Point USA after taking over following the murder of her husband, Charlie Kirk, in September.

The organization’s former leader had a controversial history of inflammatory statements about Black Americans. Kirk previously made racist comments about “prowling Blacks” and questioned the capabilities of Black pilots.

He denied systemic racism existed and called white privilege a “racist idea.” Kirk also made disparaging remarks about Black women, claiming they were “taking opportunities” from others.

During Sunday’s AmericaFest speech, Erika Kirk said her late husband “deeply mattered on a multitude of levels” and proved to be “a peacemaker” and “coalition builder.”

She told attendees that both she and Charlie would choose “fight mode over flight in any situation.”

Nicki Minaj’s Q&A with Erika Kirk has generated significant backlash from her fanbase. Many longtime supporters expressed disappointment over her political transformation.

Teyana Taylor ”Begging” For “One Battle After Another” Sequel

Teyana Taylor wants more screen time and a deeper dive into the fate of her character in One Battle After Another, telling The Hollywood Reporter she’s “already begging” writer-director Paul Thomas Anderson to revisit the story of Perfidia Beverly Hills.

The Teyana Taylor star earned a Golden Globe nomination for her performance as the radical and elusive Perfidia, who disappears to Mexico in the film’s early scenes to avoid a prison sentence.

Though her role is limited to the film’s extended prologue, Taylor’s portrayal left a lasting impression—and she’s not ready to let go.

“I often think about what her 16 years were like and her having to live through the choices that she made,” she said. “I think that we hear that in her voice (when Willa reads her letter), and it kind of makes me excited to see what would happen if we did a part two. There’s a lot of space to create something magical with that.”

When asked if she had pitched the idea to Anderson, best known for Boogie Nights, Taylor didn’t hesitate.

“I’m already begging,” she said.

The film, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Perfidia’s ex-boyfriend, Bob, and Chase Infiniti as their daughter, Willa, jumps forward 16 years after Perfidia’s escape. The story picks up as Bob and Willa navigate the fallout from Perfidia’s choices.

With nine Golden Globe nominations, including Best Picture – Musical or Comedy, One Battle After Another has emerged as a major contender this awards season. Taylor, DiCaprio and Infiniti are all up for acting honors alongside co-stars Sean Penn and Benicio del Toro.

Though Taylor didn’t anticipate the awards buzz while filming, she believed the movie would provoke conversation.

“I love that. I love healthy communication. I love when we can talk and discuss,” she said. “What bothers you about it? What do you love about it? What did it shed light on? Was it the uncomfortable, harsh realities that we had to face? Did you understand?”

The Golden Globes will be held on January 7 in Beverly Hills.

KSI Trolls Jake Paul After Brutal Anthony Joshua Knockout Left Him With Broken Jaw

KSI wasted no time celebrating Jake Paul’s devastating knockout loss to Anthony Joshua, taking to social media for a victory lap that highlighted their years-long boxing rivalry.

The British YouTuber-turned-rapper posted a series of tweets after Paul suffered a brutal sixth-round knockout in Miami Friday night. Paul broke his jaw in two places during the fight and now faces seven days of eating through a straw.

“Congratulations AJ,” KSI wrote on X, sharing a photo of Joshua’s crushing overhand right that ended Paul’s night.

He followed up minutes later with another post: “Christmas came early,” alongside photos of Paul looking defeated.

The celebration stems from a feud that dates back to 2018, when KSI first called out Jake Paul after beating Joe Weller. Their rivalry has simmered for seven years with multiple failed attempts to arrange a fight.

In June 2024, KSI made his “final offer” to Paul for a May 2025 bout at 185 pounds, but negotiations collapsed over a mere 2.5-pound weight disagreement.

AllHipHop previously covered KSI’s continued callouts of Paul, with the British entertainer stating he was “still ready to kick Jake Paul’s ass” even while promoting his 2020 debut album featuring Rick Ross and Offset.

The feud became more complex as KSI’s relationship with Jake’s older brother, Logan Paul, grew.

After initially fighting Logan Paul twice in 2018 and 2019, KSI and Logan surprisingly became business partners, co-founding the massively successful Prime Hydration drinks company.

Their partnership has reportedly generated over $250 million in retail sales, transforming former enemies into millionaire collaborators.

This business relationship with Logan has created an awkward dynamic for KSI’s ongoing beef with Jake. As KSI told TalkSport in 2023, the rivalry with Jake Paul makes things “awkward” given his friendship and business partnership with Logan.

KSI has consistently positioned himself as “the man” to end Jake Paul’s boxing career. In March 2024, he called Paul’s announcement of a fight with Mike Tyson “so sad to see,” showing his continued disdain for his rival’s boxing choices.

Jake Paul’s loss to Joshua marks a significant setback in his boxing career. The 28-year-old had been building momentum with wins over former MMA fighters and aging boxers, but Joshua’s knockout exposed the gap between Paul and elite heavyweight competition.

The knockout also adds another chapter to the “Drake curse” saga, as the rapper had placed a $200,000 bet on Paul to win.

With Paul now facing weeks of recovery and surgery, KSI’s window to finally secure their long-awaited fight may be closing. KSI has since expanded beyond boxing into business and judging Britain’s Got Talent, while growing his music career.

Fox News Host Bret Baier Raps As MAGA’s Hellish Descent Into Hip-Hop Continues

Bret Baier delivered another cringeworthy rap performance at Fox News’ annual Christmas party, continuing a bizarre trend of MAGA figures awkwardly inserting themselves into Hip-Hop culture.

The Fox News anchor performed his signature butchered version of “Rapper’s Delight” by The Sugarhill Gang at Friday night’s Special Report Christmas party.

Baier struggled through the classic track while wearing a red velvet suit, swaying awkwardly as he rapped off-beat in front of Trump administration officials, including Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and UN Ambassador Mike Waltz.

“A great time was had by all at the #SpecialReport Christmas party— and what would an SR party be without a little Rapper’s Delight,” Baier posted to his TikTok account.

@bretbaier A great time was had by all at the #SpecialReport Christmas party— and what would an SR party be without a little Rapper’s Delight? #hiphop @sugarhillgang #foxnews #rappersdelight #merrychristmas ♬ original sound – Bret Baier

The performance dates back at least a decade and has become an annual tradition at the show’s holiday gathering. Baier’s annual rap performance has become a running joke among Fox News staff, but his latest rendition was performed in front of several Trump cabinet members.

The anchor previously performed “Rapper’s Delight” alongside The Sugarhill Gang in 2018 to celebrate his 10th anniversary with Special Report.

The Fox host’s rap antics represent just the latest example of MAGA figures’ strange fascination with Hip-Hop culture over the past few months.

Vice President JD Vance recently inserted himself into the Nicki Minaj and Cardi B feud by posting “Nicki > Cardi” on social media. Vance’s unexpected endorsement of Minaj came after the rapper praised Donald Trump and mocked Cardi B’s political positions.

The Vice President’s tweet dragged him directly into Hip-Hop’s messiest ongoing rivalry, sparking backlash from Cardi B fans who questioned why he was weighing in on rap beef while serving in office.

In November, Nicki Minaj appeared alongside Waltz at a high-level UN conference in New York, where she spoke about assaults on Christian communities in Nigeria.

Tennessee Republican Tim Burchett made headlines last week when he bizarrely claimed he could “out-twerk” Nicki Minaj on X. “I am gifted. But I’m Baptist so I don’t brag about it,” Burchett said about his twerking skills.

The anti-LGBTQ+ congressman’s comments about the rapper’s dance moves raised eyebrows and added to the growing list of MAGA politicians making strange Hip-Hop references.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna was campaigning for Tory Lanez’s freedom, claiming she had evidence proving the rapper’s innocence in his conviction for shooting Megan Thee Stallion and was working on a pardon for the imprisoned rapper.

Trump himself has been active in Hip-Hop circles, pardoning artists like Lil Wayne, NBA Youngboy and Kodak Black

‘They had a service contract. That’s a huge red flag’: Georgia homeowner told he needs a new AC unit. The flame sensor just needed to be cleaned

A Georgia-based heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technician was brought in to give a second opinion. He claims the first technician tried to overcharge the homeowners and did not have the best intentions.

On Oct. 28, TikTok creator and HVAC technician Big Z (@BigZ_SM) posted a video describing an experience he had earlier that day. The homeowners brought him in for a second opinion that might have saved them thousands of dollars. The video has amassed over 93,200 views as of Saturday.

Big Z claims that the previous technician gave the homeowners a large list of expensive replacements they supposedly needed. The list included a completely new air conditioning unit, which the previous tech said was a total loss.

Why was Georgia Homeowner Told He Needs a New AC Unit?

“First thing I check is the burners,” he says. ”These things look like 23-years-old. I don’t say brand new, but zero rust, zero corrosion, burners are like immaculate. So I fired it up, it lit, shut off, and pulled the flame sensor. Guess what? It was filthy. Cleaned the flame sensor put it back in, takes off, and lights just fine.”

The original technicians also said the inducer was leaking and needed to be replaced. However, what the second tech found was contrary to that advice. “All you had to do is take the screws loose, reconnect it, [and] put everything back together,” he says.

He continues by going over all the other replacements that the original technicians said needed to be made. He also clarifies that while repairs could be made, replacements are far more costly, and that all of the issues were “routine.”

The technician says that it is very likely that the technician was overcharging the homeowners due to working on a service contract. “They had a service contract with this company and that’s a huge red flag,” he says.

What Is a Service Contract? And Why Do Techs Warn Against Them?

“If a company tries to sell you a service contract, run away because what they’ll do is they’ll sell you that, they’ll get you on the hook, they’ll do their visits, they’ll get you somewhat trustworthy of them and used to them, and then they’ll start selling [expletive] you don’t need and that’s what happened here,” he says.

The service contract the technician is referring to is likely a yearly or multi-year agreement between a homeowner and an HVAC company that promises scheduled check-ups, tune-ups, and sometimes discounts on repairs in exchange for an upfront fee. At its core, it’s meant to keep heating and cooling systems running efficiently.

The Real Benefits of Service Contracts

In practice, these service contracts can offer real benefits as regular inspections can catch early wear, improve energy efficiency, and extend the lifespan of a unit, potentially reducing the risk of sudden breakdowns.

However, many contracts lock homeowners into annual fees, and if a system is relatively new or already under warranty, those services might be redundant.  Worse, some contracts include exclusions, caps, or fine-print limitations that make large repairs effectively not covered despite paying for a plan.

This means technicians may up-sell unnecessary parts or overstate the severity of issues to justify expensive replacements. In this dynamic, the service contract becomes less about preventative care and more about keeping the revenue stream flowing.

“Absolute robbery attempt, and I see it all the time,” says the technician. “And it gives good contractors like myself and others bad names because the bad apples tend to spoil a whole bunch in terms of reputation.”

“So if you’re a homeowner or you’re shopping around for a heating and cooling company, get a second opinion. Get a third opinion,” the technician warns.

@bigz_sm I simply don’t understand the lack of integrity and doing the right companies lack today. #quality #hvac #diagnosis ♬ original sound – BigZ_SM
