2Pac Finally Acknowledged With Posthumous Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

More than two decades after 2Pac’s untimely death, the legendary MC was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday (June 7).

The posthumous award was accepted by the late artist’s sister, Sekyiwa “Set” Shakur, at a ceremony hosted by longtime radio host Big Boy. The event was attended by friends, family and fans of the late rap icon.

Among the attendees were notable figures from the Hip-Hop community, including YG, Mike Epps, DJ Quik, Danny Boy, Allen Hughe and fellow Outlawz member Young Noble. The ceremony wasn’t just a celebration of 2Pac’s music but also a testament to his enduring influence on the culture.

“Today we’re not just honoring a star in the ground, but we’re honoring the work and the passion that he’s put into making his dreams come true,” his sister said. “His heavenly star will shine a little brighter today. Once again, he has made us all extremely proud. We love you 2Pac.”

Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez added, “Tupac Shakur was a rapper, actor, activist, poet and revolutionary. This iconic artist has continued to be part of the zeitgeist for decades after his passing and will continue to be an important cultural figure for many years to come.”

The ceremony concluded with the unveiling of 2Pac’s star, a moment met with applause and cheers from the crowd. It was also a moment of reflection for those who knew 2Pac personally.

“I signed to Death Row at the age of 15 years old, and later on in the years, 2Pac came over, and I had an opportunity to work on his album, All Eyes on Me,” Danny Boy told Hollywood Today. “I’m amazed, and I’m blessed that people still remember me for that small part, and I still remember 26 years later.”

The star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is a fitting tribute to a man who, even in death, continues to inspire and influence generations. As one attendee put it, “It’s just beautiful, you know, God’s timing.”

Memphis Bleek Reacts To Barbra Streisand Unexpectedly Quoting Him

Barbra Streisand stunned Hip-Hop fans by quoting Memphis Bleek in a Twitter post on Wednesday (June 7).

Streisand used the rapper’s lyrics from Jay-Z’s song “1-900-Hustler” to comment on Donald Trump’s legal troubles. The post racked up thousands of likes as various Twitter users tried to grapple with the reality of Streisand referencing Memphis Bleek’s bars.

“Trump is going to be indicted for stealing classified documents,” she wrote. “He is going crazy with his tweets urging his cult to ‘FIGHT.’ We remember what happened on January 6th. ‘The strong are quiet, the weak start riots.’ – Rapper Memphis Bleek.”

Streisand’s post generated numerous retweets with fans joking about her apparent appreciation of Roc-A-Fella Records. Memphis Bleek thanked Streisand for the shoutout in an Instagram post.

“They quoting the kid out here!!” he wrote alongside a screenshot of her tweet. “@barbrastreisand #BarsThatMeanSomthing.”

Man Sentenced To Life In Prison For Killing Las Vegas Rapper Over Song

A judge sentenced a 23-year-old man to life in prison for murdering a 20-year-old rapper known as Luccy2x in Las Vegas.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Jcahoyl Ducksworth learned his punishment for the 2020 murder of Luccy2x at a hearing on Tuesday (June 6). District Judge Jacqueline gave Ducksworth life in prison with the possibility of parole after 12 years.

Ducksworth pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder and second-degree murder with a deadly weapon in March. He received three years of credit for time served at his sentencing.

Clark County’s Chief Deputy District Attorney Binu Palal said Ducksworth killed Luccy2x over a song. Luccy2x, whose real name was Charles Vailes Jr., allegedly mentioned Ducksworth’s friends who were killed on the song. Luccy2x’s mother Kristal McClodden claimed her son didn’t write or produce the song.

“He didn’t do anything with or to the song at all, so that still leaves a lot of unanswered questions,” she said.

Ducksworth hopped out of a car, ran to a Las Vegas gas station and shot Luccy2x, who was in the passenger seat of another vehicle. The late rapper’s friend drove away from the scene and called 911.

Police also arrested an accomplice named Kalin Qualls for his involvement in Luccy2x’s death. Qualls allegedly drove Ducksworth to an area near the gas station where the murder was committed. Qualls awaits trial.

Tobe Nwigwe Says His Nas Collab Is Greatest Accomplishment As An Artist

Tobe Nwigwe appreciated his opportunity to work with Nas on a song for the new movie Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. The Houston-bred rapper reflected on his Nas collaboration “On My Soul” in a recent interview with AllHipHop’s Chuck Creekmur. Nwigwe exalted the song when asked where it ranked among his career accomplishments.

“The greatest,” he said. “The absolute greatest … it’s Transformers and Nas, both at the same time, collaborating for one project. It’s insane. I never in my life thought, coming from where I come from, that something like this would happen. It’s incredible.”

Tobe Nwigwe’s involvement in the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts extended beyond the music. He also portrayed a character named Reek in the film, which hits theaters on Friday (June 9).

Fans got to see Tobe Nwigwe’s acting skills in the Netflix series Mo, which premiered in 2022. But the 36-year-old artist told AllHipHop the Transformers movie was actually his first acting gig since he shot it before Mo.

“This is the very first acting thing that I ever did,” he said. “It was just incredible to be a part of such a massive franchise. I don’t think that’s the norm for most people who get into acting.”

Zion Williamson’s Fatherhood Marred By Adult Film Star

This might be the first time Zion Williamson has appeared in the rumors sections—and it’s not for good things. The New Orleans Pelicans rising star recently made headlines when it was revealed he’s expecting a child, which is pretty big news. Things quickly took a messy turn, like a garbage truck on a cliff doing 75 miles per hour. An adult film star (wink-wink) named Moriah Mills called him out on Twitter, claiming he was seeing her while also being involved with the mother of his child. Please say no, but it’s a yes.

Mills—a verified adult star—went on a Twitter rant, sharing her side of the story and providing details about her alleged experience with Williamson. Now, we can’t really say what’s true or not in this situation, but Williamson can’t be happy about this. The drama is overshadowing his fatherhood moment.

Williamson has seemingly gotten more attention off the court than on the court. Early in his career, most of the attention focused on his injury struggles and how he wasn’t as helpful to the Pelicans as expected.

Right now, Mills is just talking. We don’t know the whole story. So, before we delve into the messiness, these two seem very happy.

Williamson has the potential to be an incredible player for the Pelicans, but this takes away from it for many. Hopefully he can can get back to focusing on the game and preparing for the arrival of his newborn. Let’s hope this mess gets sorted out soon.

Peep this:

The woman in blue, is Williamson’s alleged baby mama-to-be doing all the beating. And there we have it: mad drama. She got super busy in that vid. She was not jumped through. She was set up, because they didn’t stop rolling even when the other girl was punch drunk.

This is all her…she likes the color blue.

Prosecutors Aim To Throw The Book At Tory Lanez With 13-Year Sentence

Prosecutors asked a judge to sentence Tory Lanez to 13 years in prison for shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

Reporter Meghann Cuniff obtained a sentencing memorandum filed by the Los Angeles County District Office on Tuesday (June 6). Prosecutors condemned Tory Lanez for engaging in a “campaign of misinformation” to retraumatize Megan Thee Stallion after the 2020 shooting.

“[Tory Lanez] has waged a campaign to humiliate and retraumatize the victim through his actions and his words,” prosecutors wrote. “Words have power and the pen is oftentimes mightier than the sword. In this case, [Tory Lanez] used both. Not content to have hurt the victim by use of his sword (gun), he also used his pen.”

They continued, “His online posts for nearly three years have retraumatized the victim. His online reach is worldwide (millions of followers plus casual observers) and the defendant’s statements embolden his followers so that they too have been complicit in retraumatizing the victim. He is responsible for his words and actions.”

Prosecutors urged the court to deny probation. They cited Tory Lanez’s “unwillingness to comply with court orders” throughout his case as an example of his disregard for the law and public safety.

“The defendant not only lacks remorse, he is clearly incapable of accepting any responsibility for his own actions,” they argued. “The defendant’s lack of remorse is insidious, leaving this court no assurances that the defendant will not repeat this type of behavior in the future.”

A jury found Tory Lanez guilty of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, discharging a firearm with gross negligence and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He is scheduled to be sentenced on June 13.

Tory Lanez’s legal team tried to delay his sentencing. His lawyers attempted to disqualify Judge David Herriford, who will sentence the rapper.

Snoop Dogg Lands Massive Payday With New Jack In The Box “Munchie Meal”

When it comes to business, Snoop Dogg‘s portfolio is off the charts. Boasting endorsement deals with Tostitos, General Insurance and Corona (to name a few) as well as ownership of the Death Row brand, he’s come a long way since “Gin & Juice.”

Snoop Dogg can now add Jack in the Box to the list. According to a press release, the D-O-Double-G has signed on with the fast food restaurant for his own signature “Munchie Meal.” The meal coincides with the 10-year anniversary of the late night offering and is apparently perfect for stoners like Snoop.

The meal features a “Spicy Sauced and Loaded Chicken Sandwich,” classic taco, medium curly fries, a baked brownie and drink. Snoop Dogg shared a video clip to his Twitter account to plug the $14 mega-meal. It features Snoop walking down a hallway with the Jack in the Box mascot. He wrote in the caption, “Let’s do this thang, Jack” in response to an online poll supposedly conducted by the restaurant.

Snoop Dogg has inspired many of his peers to hop in the endorsement ring over the years. In a 2020 interview, Ice-T revealed Snoop was behind his decision to hop in the ad game.

Considering Ice-T is behind the controversial 1992 single “Cop Killer,” he assumed getting a gig in a television commercial would be impossible. But after seeing what Snoop Dogg was able to accomplish, he decided to give it a try.

“It was difficult because I’m the cop killer,” he said at the time. “Everybody in the mainstream was like, ‘They won’t f### with you because you’re too taboo.’ And I was like, ‘Right.’ And then Snoop started knocking down walls. That’s my brother. So Snoop was going through doors and I’m like, ‘Look, Snoop’s making it through these doors, let’s try.’

“So the first big one I got was the GEICO commercial with the lemonade. The advertising world was watching and there was no blowback. From there, I did RXBARs, CarShield. You see, people don’t understand but if you look at Shaq, like the one he does for The General, that could be eight to $10 million a year. The numbers aren’t b#######. You know that b#### Flo from Progressive? Trust me, she lives in a mansion. Flo is caked out.”

Erykah Badu Curse: Blueface Arrested While In Court On Attempted Murder Charges

It looks like Erykah Badu’s recent comments about Blueface might have done some damage. The “Thotiana” rapper was reportedly arrested at a Las Vegas courthouse on Wednesday (June 7). According to TMZ, the controversial artist was taken into custody during a preliminary hearing for his attempted murder charges. Police believe Blueface was involved in a robbery and slapped him with another felony.

Blueface was initially arrested in November 2022 after prosecutors claimed he discharged a firearm into a house, building, vehicle or craft. Again, he was caught off-guard. He was apprehended outside of Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles in Sin City during an undercover operation. Eyewitnesses said at least six officers were in on the arrest, parked in unmarked cars.

In the latest case, the alleged robbery is characterized as a direct violation of the stipulations the court placed on him following last year’s arrest.

Blueface’s attorneys, Lisa Rasmussen and Kristina Wildeveld, said they “look forward to vigorously defending him on both cases” but aren’t clear on the specifics.

Badu recently called Blueface “trash” and told the universe to “do its thing.” Evidently, it just did.

This is a developing story.

Azealia Banks Suggests DC Young Fly’s Opinions On Women’s Beauty Led To Jacky Oh’s Insecurities

Rapper and always controversial figure Azealia Banks sent a message to a bereaved DC Young Fly, checking him on how his attitudes about women’s beauty may have contributed to his children’s mother wanting to get the plastic surgery that ultimately took her life. She linked her comments back to the Wild ‘N Out episode where he teased her.

The Harlem native wrote on her Instagram, “DC Young Fly spent years disguising his own deeply rooted hatred of self as jokes pointed at women’s beauty, projecting his own feelings about his own ugliness unto women perfectly secure in their own skin.”

THIS HAPPENED FOUR YEARS AGO, SPARKING THE FOUL ENERGY BETWEEN THE TWO

Banks added, “Say what you want about my tears. They were pure tears of rage. And not at all a sign of weakness. Because in the end … I won. I‘m happy I cried and moved on. That Jackie O girl must have been so deeply insecure about herself. And the nerve of DC to call such a gorgeous woman as Azealia Banks… ugly on National television while a bunch of Black people laughed. That thorn in my side is finally out.”

She continued, “No way in hell I was blessed with this many gifts, this much talent and beauty to be a cultural punching bag for a cast of peons who wouldn’t have a pot to p### in if they didn’t have the court of social media addicts to jester for.”

“I do this in real life Dicklickers,” she said before laughing and saying, “Ashe.”

Banks wasn’t finished with her rant and claimed the episode “de-railed the success” of her single “Anna Wintour.”

“I came to sing my song and go home,” she said. “Only at the request of my label.”

The last of the stinging public statements references her connection to the “Brujeria” she has been practicing over the years.

“And ironically, dead at 32 exactly on my 32nd birthday, May 31, 2023 in Miami, FL. You n##gas are going to learn to stop f##king with me.”

AllHipHop extends the family of Jacky Oh and DC Young Fly our deepest condolences.

The Iron Sheik—Legendary WWE Wrestler—Dead At 81

The Iron Sheik, famed WWE wrestler and popular social media personality, reportedly died on Wednesday (June 7). He was 81. His representative, Jian Magen, confirmed the news to CBS. He’s survived by wife Caryl, who he was married to for 47 years, and his children Tanya, Nikki and Marisa. No cause of death has been confirmed.

In a statement, his family called The Iron Sheik “an iconic figure who left an incredible mark on the world of professional wrestling.” It continued, “He was a loving and dedicated father. The Iron Sheik’s guidance and unwavering belief in their potential served as a driving force for his children, empowering them to become the best versions of themselves.”

The Iron Sheik has been referenced in numerous Hip-Hop songs, including the 1994 Illmatic cut “It Ain’t Hard To Tell” when Nas raps, “I freak beats, slam it like Iron Sheik/Jam like a Tec with correct techniques.”

AllHipHop sends our condolences to all of The Iron Sheik’s loved ones and his many, many fans. Revisit “It Ain’t Hard To Tell” below.

Blueface Condemns Charleston White’s Accusations, Says He’s No Ike Turner

Charleston White has recently voiced his discontent with Blueface’s recent behavior, joining the chorus of celebrities who’ve grown weary of the “Thotiana” rapper’s actions. In a passionate online rant, White drew a parallel between Blueface and Ike Turner, infamous for his physical abuse of Tina Turner during their marriage.

“Blueface, I got to give you coins, n#gga,” he said. “You are the modern-day Ike Turner. Because there’s no other musician, there is no other artist, who I see fill the shoes of an abusive lover. I just want to remind you, young brother.”

White continued, “The shame that you bring to this little girl, I wouldn’t be surprised if your baby have some emotional trauma that your child is dealing with because you do know that whatever the mother feels while she’s pregnant, the children will feel, by way of the umbilical cord, feels what the mother feels. So, the shame you bring to the mother. You also bringing shame to your children. Cuz, whoever you is or what you is, you’re abusing those girls. You are demonstrating some of the most foul and most disrespectful behavior that any Black man can display publicly to his baby mama,” he finished.

Blueface caught wind of White’s accusation and took to Twitter to retaliate, writing, “N###a went front box that b#tch, hit her on top of the head, jam her neck up to l’m an abuser now. Prime example [of] never let social media dictate your reality or judgement in real life. I’m outside everyday. That boy a mouse in the house. I’d rather be Ike than Uncle Ruckus.“

Blueface sent another tweet and said, “I’ma be the same n###a everyday. I will never change the game plan for likes and approvals, streams, or fake love. I know what’s best for me.”

Blueface continued by slapping the hell out of a random woman. I’m kidding. That never happened.

For those who don’t know, this is Uncle Ruckus of The Boondocks fame:

Young Dolph Suspect Hit With More Charges Over Rapper’s Murder

Jermarcus Johnson, one of four men charged with the murder of Memphis rapper Young Dolph, was hit with more charges on Wednesday (June 7). He’s now facing three counts of accessory after the fact, along with the first charge of conspiracy to first-degree murder.

In addition to Johnson, three other men were implicated in the murder: Justin “Straight Drop” Johnson, Cornelius Smith and Hernandez Govan. Investigators believed Govan ordered the murder, soliciting Johnson and Smith to kill Young Dolph. The plot to murder the rapper reportedly began in June 2021.

Dolph, whose real name was Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., was fatally shot dozens of times at close range inside Madeka’s Homemade Cookies on November 17, 2021. Johnson surrendered to the police the following day. He was charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. Johnson and Smith were allegedly the gunmen who killed Young Dolph.

They face first-degree murder, criminal attempted first-degree murder, unlawful carrying and possession of a firearm, employment of a firearm with intent to commit a felony, theft of property and an additional conspiracy charge to commit first-degree murder.

After spending months in jail without bond following his November 2022 arrest, Govan posted a $90,000 bond on May 11. It was agreed upon by prosecutors and defense attorneys, and Young Dolph’s family was aware of the agreement.

Govan is under house arrest while he awaits trial. Further adding to the tragic storyline, Govan’s daughter, Memphis rapper Lotta Cash Desto, was fatally shot in Houston last September 24.

Two suspects, Jeremyah Smith, 19, and Christian Isaiah Williams, 24, were arrested in connection with her murder. Rumors suggested her death might have been in retaliation for the killing of Young Dolph after her father was indicted.

In a recent turn of events, Johnson was found with drugs and a cell phone inside his cell at the Shelby County Jail, sparking an open investigation by the sheriff’s office.

Beyoncé Rocks London Despite Slight Wardrobe Flub

There’s a reason why Beyoncé is considered the rightful heir to Queen of Rock & Roll Tina Turner’s crown. In addition to having her high-octave dance moves and unparalleled vocals, the master performer understands how to keep the showing going even when a distraction or problem arises during the set.

On Sunday (June 4) during the fifth sold-out London show of the RENAISSANCE TOUR, the multi-Grammy winner experienced a wardrobe malfunction as she gave a riveting performance of “America’s Got A Problem.” She was wearing a black and gold costume with a large shimmering headpiece for all those in attendance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. A fan filmed the mishap and posted it on TikTok.

https://www.tiktok.com/@rasulmstr/video/7240998155129572635?_r=1&_t=8cwZ8mx7VNa

While nothing major, the “Cuff it” singer was dancing a little too hard when her hat started to slip and slide down her to her face. For a quick minute, the hat covered her sunglasses, but like the consummate professional she is, she caught the hat, secured it in place and kept it moving. With a full smile, she eventually takes off the hat and throws it behind her, so as not to disrupt the performance any further.

On TikTok, while mostly everyone marveled at how well she did, one fan, who understands the Virgo’s need for perfection, wrote, “She’s gonna fire that hat!” Another person said the hat wasn’t getting fired, but whoever was supposed to style her.

Tee Grizzley’s Wedding Goes Viral For All The Right Reasons

Yerrrrrrr! Tee Grizzley just got hitched and it’s time to break out the confetti cannons. He tied the knot with the mother of his child, My’Eisha Agnew, and it’s all over social media, baby. I love to see this.

In January, Tee dropped the bombshell news of their engagement and now, they’ve taken that epic walk down the aisle. The evidence? A bunch of jaw-dropping videos and photos that flooded Instagram, capturing all the magic from their big day. And let me tell you, it was one for the books.

In a stunning white dress from the Walter Collection, My’Eisha looked like a queen. Tee Grizzley wasn’t messing around either, rocking a snazzy purple suit that had him shining like a disco ball. But here’s the kicker: in one of those viral videos, you can catch Tee Grizzley busting a move on the dance floor with his brand new wifey, all while sporting a fresh pair of Jordans.

A post shared by REMIXD Magazine (@remixdmag)

The internet went wild, of course. One person couldn’t help but notice Tee’s choice of footwear, saying, “Nobody’s rocking sharp loafers anymore!” And you know how it goes—someone else had to chime in with, “You can take the guy out of the hood, but you can’t take the hood out of the guy!” LOL!

Tee Grizzley is know for his pen game, but his love poem game isn’t bad either. He wrote, “I may have given away a lot, but my last name ain’t going anywhere. Take it, baby. It’s all yours.” And let me tell you, the Hip-Hop community showed love. Hit-Boy, Tay Keith and even Bryson Tiller himself sent their warmest wishes to the happy couple.

So, let’s raise our glasses and toast to Tee Grizzley and My’Eisha Agnew for taking that leap into marital bliss. May their love story continue to be filled with happiness, success and killer dance moves.

By the way, did they get married two times? They had something on a rooftop last year.

G Herbo Is Now A Single Man Again—Or Is He?

So, it looks like one of the industry’s favorite power couples, rapper G Herbo and Taina Williams, might have called it quits. What a plot twist! The rapper surprised everyone when he took to Instagram and dropped the bombshell with a post that said, “I am single.” But hey, guess what? He later deleted it, leaving fans scratching their heads.

Just a while ago, they were all lovey-dovey and even got together to celebrate their daughter’s birthday. But now it seems like things have taken a different turn. Of course, the internet had its fair share of opinions. One person commented, “Oh, come on! We all saw this coming from a mile away. You win them how you lose them, right? She clearly followed her mom’s advice: snag a rapper with kids. The plan was never to be a successful contributor to society, just to be there and create dependents.” Ouch, that’s a bit harsh, isn’t it?

Let’s rewind a bit. Back in December 2022, G Herbo spilled the beans during an interview with “Caresha Please” host Yung Miami. He gushed about how head-over-heels in love he was with his girlfriend and the mother of two of his children, Taina Williams. He couldn’t stop singing her praises, calling her “perfect.” Ah, young love!

Herbo even confessed that whenever he stepped out on a woman before, it was only to “get away from s##t.” So, it seemed like he found something special with Williams. They were apparently in a “great space” and he even hinted at marriage plans. Yung Miami couldn’t resist asking the big question, “Are you gonna pop the question soon?” And guess what? Herbo’s response was a confident “Yeah.”

But now, it seems like things might have taken a different turn. It’s hard to say for sure what’s going on behind the scenes, but one thing’s for sure: the relationship status of G Herbo and Taina Williams is definitely a bit of a mystery. It was like yesterday when Fab was giving him a chain. Dang.

Then in June 2022, Netflix presented Rhythm + Flow France (aka Nouvelle École). Now, the global streaming giant has announced an Italian version of the music-based show, locally titled Nuova Scena.

Rhythm + Flow Italy will feature Fabri Fibra, Geolier and Rose Villain traveling to Rome, Naples and Milan in order to discover the next Italian rap superstar. The eight-episode program will premiere in 2024.

Other representatives of the Italian rap scene will join the three judges throughout the first season. The contestants will take part in freestyle skills, rap battles and the production of original songs. The winner will receive 100,000 euros.

Inglewood California-based rapper D Smoke won the first season of the American edition of Rhythm + Flow. He went on to earn Best Rap Album and Best New Artist nominations at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.

D Smoke’s Black Habits lost the Best Rap Album Grammy Award to King’s Disease by legendary New York City MC Nas. The 2021 Best New Artist Grammy Award went to Houston-bred rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

Fresh LaPeufra took home the 100,000 euro prize as the season one winner of Rhythm + Flow France. The second season of Rhythm + Flow France—judged by SCH, Shay, and Niska— began streaming on Netflix in May 2023.

Ja Morant Flashed Toy Gun In Viral Video According To Claudia Jordan

Memphis Grizzlies player Ja Morant is currently suspended from the team and supposedly taking a break from social media. However, the 2x-NBA All-Star continues to make headlines across the internet.

In March, Morant flashed a firearm on Instagram Live during a visit to a Denver-area strip club. The Memphis Grizzlies suspended him for eight games following significant public backlash.

Morant went viral again in May. The 23-year-old athlete brandished what appeared to be another gun on Instagram Live. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will reveal any new disciplinary actions against Morant after the NBA Finals.

Was Ja Morant’s Firearm Fake?

There’s now a new report about Ja Morant that has generated a lot of conversations online. The Breakfast Club guest host, Claudia Jordan, offered a new theory about Morant’s last incident. Jordan discussed the story on a recent episode of the radio show.

“My sources say that the relative in the car in the backseat had a toy gun in the car,” Jordan said. “The gun is not real. And [he] was playing around with it, passed it over to Ja, and that got caught on the Live.”

The former Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member continued, “The video was sent to Adam Silver and the NBA, allegedly. They have it and they say the gun looks extremely fake like it’s obviously a toy gun. According to my source, allegedly, Adam Silver is still going to go through with the suspension.”

Adam Silver Has Begun Investigating The IG Live Incident

Earlier this month, Silver addressed the league’s inquiry into Ja Morant while at a press conference before Game 1 of the 2023 NBA Finals. The longtime basketball executive told the media the league looks at a player’s prior acts and the seriousness of the conduct when assessing proper punishment.

“We’ve uncovered a fair amount of additional information since I was still asked about the situation,” Silver said about the probe into Morant’s actions. “I would say we probably could have brought it to a head now, but we made the decision, and I believe the Player’s Association agrees with us, that it would be unfair to these players and these teams in the middle of the series to announce the results of that investigation.”
