Nicki Minaj Fans Held Back By Cops At Wireless Festival After Jumping The Gates

Nicki Minaj has one of the most loyal armies of die-hard fans in the world of super-stardom. Her fan base, known collectively as the Barbz, go to great lengths in supporting the New York rapper and regularly beef with other fan bases online.

However, their most recent clash was with London’s Metropolitan Police force ahead of Nicki Minaj’s headline set at the city’s Wireless Festival on Sunday (Jul. 10).

A sea of Barbz surged the barriers outside the venue and fought to get through the police line before the event began. Some fans jumped over gates, attempting to bypass the crowd to secure a prime spot to watch Nicki Minaj onstage.

According to U.K. publication The Evening Standard, local authorities had to close more than one neighboring road to “enable crowd safety management.”

The Metropolitan Police confirmed they had to place “a brief hold on people being admitted to the event,” after attendees jumped the gates. “This caused a large crowd to form in the area around the site.”

However, organizers controlled the crowd, and Nicki Minaj went on to perform as scheduled. After the show, she shared a series of clips on Instagram, including once taken by JT of City Girls.

“🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 so in love with this crowd tonight,” penned Nicki Minaj. “Wow 🫶🏽♥️ I’m working on smthng for my fans tonight & tmrw as well. I’ll keep you guys posted. @wirelessfest @thegirljt you so propa for sending me this video of tonight. 💕🎀😘” she added.

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj had to calm the Barbz during a recent IG Live chat after attempting to shut down pregnancy rumors.

“Oh, I did mean to tweet this: ‘I’m not fat, y’all, I’m pregnant,” she said. However, she quickly backtracked, clarifying that she meant to say she was “fat, not pregnant.” Watch the video here on AllHipHop

The Game Shows Love To Kendrick Lamar & His “Incredible” “Mr. Morale” Album

While The Game is readying for the release of his forthcoming Drillmatic album – which he claims will be “the best album of 2022” – he was still full of praise for fellow Compton native Kendrick Lamar’s latest offering.

The “Easy” hitmaker shared his thoughts on Kendrick’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers album during a recent interview with HipHopDX.

He recalled the iconic moment he joined other West Coast legends such as Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre in a symbolic passing of the torch moment at one of Kendrick Lamar’s early concerts.

“I always knew Kendrick could be Kendrick,” Game said. “And Kendrick knew Kendrick could be Kendrick, so that’s pretty much why he is who he is, and why he’s done everything he’s been able to accomplish. Now, which would be considered the prime of his career, the ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’ album is incredible to me. As is all his projects,” he added. “I love how artistic his mind is when it comes to putting out these projects. I love that he never strays from where his heart is at the time and moment when he creates his projects.”

The Game says he shares a special relationship with K. Dot, having witnessed his growth from early in his career.

“And so, I’m always going to give him the love he deserves because I watched it first hand,” he concluded. “I was there, early Kendrick, I was there in Top Dawg’s Crib, in the studio in the basement. Watching him, watching this flower grow. So Kendrick is always going to be one of my favorites. Again, one of those big brother, little brother relationships.”  Check out the clip below.

The Game Talks Kendrick Lamar

Meanwhile, The Game announced he was unable to drop Drillmatic on July 8 due to clearance issues. However, he still held an exclusive release party at The Novo as planned on Friday. He was joined by a number of rappers, including “Eazy” collaborator Kanye West.

Chris Brown Names His Mount Rushmore Of Hip-Hop

Selecting just four names to be immortalized on Rap’s Mount Rushmore is a tall task for any head, and it was no different for Chris Brown when he was asked to name his personal list of the greatest MCs.

The R&B singer was challenged to name the rappers on his G.O.A.T. list during a recent interview with Power 206’s L.A. Leakers. While he was quick to rattle off the first few names, he realized he spoke too soon.

“Jay-Z, Nas, Big L, and Tupac,” Chris Brown revealed after just a few moments of thought. However, he changed his mind just seconds later and had to make some alterations.

“Skrrt, put Biggie in the spot of Nas!” he said before clarifying he still has love for his former collaborator. “I love Nas, damn. It’s f#####’ up!”

Chris Brown soon added another name, the God MC. “Damn, hold up I’m sorry. Rakim in there too, I’m sorry! That’s all mine, everybody I said – those are in my Mount Rushmore. I made my own Mount Rushmore.” Check out the interview below.

Elsewhere during the L.A. Leakers appearance, Chris Brown also gave Beyoncé her flowers. “She the GOAT, man… That’s one thing can nobody debate, she’s the GOAT,” he said of the superstar singer. “She’s one of the coldest ever, her and [Michael Jackson].”

The “Look At Me Now” hitmaker recently refused to entertain comparisons between himself and the King of Pop. When asked, he admitted, “Hell nah, I’m not better than Michael Jackson,” adding, “There is no competing with him.”

15-Year-Old Charged With Murder Of 14-Year-Old Aspiring Drill Rapper In Fatal NYC Subway Stabbing

A 14-year-old up-and-coming drill rapper was fatally stabbed on a subway platform in Harlem on Saturday afternoon (Jul. 9). Cops confirmed they charged a 15-year-old boy with his murder.

Officers arrived at the station and found Ethan Reyes — who rapped under the name Notti Osama – with a stab wound to his abdomen. He was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside hospital, where he was pronounced dead despite the efforts of emergency services.

According to the New York Times, police believe Ethan Reyes of Yonkers, N.Y., and his attacker knew each other. They say the pair began arguing outside the 137th St.-City College station in Harlem which then spilled inside.

“He just got caught up in the street life”

Kelvin Ventura, cousin of Ethan Reyes, says the type of music he made played a role in his death.

“He just got caught up in the street life type s###,” Ventura told New York Daily News. “He just so happened to take a route in a style of music that ends up with art turning into violence.”

Cops did not release the name of the teenager who was arrested on Sunday after cops tracked him down using surveillance footage. He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in addition to murder. The teen is reportedly being treated for stab wounds at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

“He would’ve taken a route of a pop singer or any other style of art or music, he would’ve been super successful,” Ventura continued. “Just so happens his style of music that he chose to do ended up reciprocating violence.”

Richard Davey, MTA NYC transit president, said in a statement Sunday, ”We thank NYPD detectives, with whom we cooperated, for the rapid arrest of a suspect.

“That he and the victim are said to have known each other further underscores the senseless nature of this tragic incident.”

The teeanger often rapped with his brother David who goes by the name DD Osama. The pair gained traction in the genre with music videos on YouTube amassing over a hundred thousand views.

How Country Artist AJ Penta Became The East Coast Cowboy

Growing up in New Jersey, AJ Penta was exposed to a life centered around music because his grandfather owned his own recording studio.

URL Make Social Media History With N.O.M.E 12

Ultimate Rap League made an explosive return to Houston on Saturday (Jul. 9), making history with the twelfth installment of their marquee Night Of Main Events card.

Fans packed the Bayou Music Centre in Houston to see a card stacked with battle rap legends alongside some of the genre’s rising stars. NOMEXII was trending before the event even began with fans on Twitter debating their predictions for the night. They were also eager to see the return of Harlem’s K-Shine, a long-awaited grudge match, and to see some of the best of the Smack DVD era rappers take on the New Era.

The event began trending with #NOMEXII just thirty minutes into the show before the official hashtag was announced. By the time, URL co-founder Smack White announced #NOME12 as the official URL hashtag, engagement is said to have exploded with both hashtags being used by fans.

Within an hour between each other, both #NOME12 and #NOMEXII (respectfully) were at the top spot.

This marked the first time in history an extreme sporting organization trended on Twitter at No. 1 during the same night with two different hashtags. The event would continue to rank throughout the evening and occupied the top spot an hour later.

“While URL usually trends in the top spots on Twitter, it was particularly significant that the fans were engaged on this year’s NOME in the way that they were, ” Smack states exclusively to AllHipHop.com. “It shows that even after 12 years, people still are tuning in to see the artists on our platform — that we have groomed from very early in their career.”

He continued, “This card had vets, some of our most senior stars, and also now the brightest new talents dominating the culture. We trended over UFC most of the night because we are listening to our fans and expanding the market event by event. Something no one else in our space is doing. We are opening doors.”

“This proves once and for all, that the URL brand is unmatched,” said Smack of the historic flex. “Not just in battle rap but in the extreme sporting space also. We are our own competition.”

Some of Houston’s Hip-Hop elite were also in attendance with stars like Trae the Truth, lil Flip and J Prince Jr in the house.

One of the most anticipated N.O.M.E. 12 clashes was the final of URL’s Ultimate Madness 5 tournament between one of the best pens in battle rap, JC, and the underdog from South Carolina, Swamp. Longtime battle rap enthusiast and former NFL player Gerald McCoy added an extra $20,000 to the prize money making a total of $120,000.

Ultimately, JC would go on to score the victory in a unanimous decision to collect the $120,000 prize as the winner of Ultimate Madness 5.

JC vs. Swamp – UM5 Final

West Coast legend Dizaster took to Twitter to give JC his flowers following his win. “Congrats to @ThekidJ_c for the well warranted milestone achievement in his career. To me jc has always been a talent Ive shown respect for ,from preserving the fundamentals, pushing the envelope of writing ,2 not conforming/compromising. it’s good to see a mc from our cloth win🏆”

However, Swamp was a worthy finalist, fighting throughout the tournament and on the night.

Meanwhile, rumor has it JC’s next bag will come from the much hyped matchup with Tsu Surf, one JC has wanted for years, or from an epic clash of the pens against the legend from Harlem, Loaded Lux, and end game battle for the elite writers.

Danny Myers vs. Nunn Nunn

The night began with California’s Danny Myers vs. North Carolina’s Nunn Nunn, a fire back and forth that was a rebuttal fest from the renowned freestylers.

Danny bought near unmatched energy to the night as noted by Nunn Nunn. “Bruhh Danny jumped off stage ran through the whole front row then teleported back on stage mid round”

K-Shine vs. Real Sikh

K-Shine made a triumphant return with the culture giving him a clear win over New Jersey’s Real Sikh in the first of the Smack DVD Era vs New Era clashes. He gave a masterful performance all three rounds giving fans the feeling that the old Shine is here to stay.

Geechi Gotti vs. Hollow Da Don

The second Era vs. Era clash came from Houston’s Hollow Da Don vs. California’s Geechi Gotti and despite the fan vote, it proved to be a highly debatable one. While the Caffeine fan vote gave the win to Hollow, the second of the Smack DVD era rappers to win on the night, others gave it to Gotti.

Goodz vs. Eazy the Block Captain

Then, it was a case of “slick talk” vs. “the talk different” with Bronx’s Goodz da Animal vs. Philadelphia’s Eazy the Block Captain, two rappers from two different genres known for their distinct way of talking to their opponent.

Tay Roc vs. T-Top

Maryland’s Tay Roc and North Carolina’s T-Top settled a grudge during the main event that was a decade in the making that many fans had going Roc’s way.

Machine Gun Kelly Feels Bad Over War With SlipKnot Front Man Corey Taylor

Machine Gun Kelly regrets his feud with Slipknot’s Corey Taylor.

In his new documentary “Life In Pink,” the rapper turned punk-rocker said he harbors regrets about the year-long argument.

The fallout arose in 2021 at Chicago’s Riot Fest when Machine Gun Kelly referenced Corey in an onstage remark, saying, “You wanna know what I’m really happy that I’m not doing? Being 50 years old wearing a f###### weird mask on a f###### stage, talking s###.”

In “Life In Pink,” the 32-year-old spoke about his actions.

“I could have handled it differently. I should have just picked up the phone and been like hey dude, ‘why would you say that’? But, instead, we all acted ridiculous,” he said.

Machine Gun Kelly’s Riot Fest remark was in response to an interview Corey’s did on Cutter’s Rockcast podcast, in which the rocker said, “I hate all new rock for the most part. I (hate) the artists who failed in one genre and decided to go rock and I think he knows who he is.”

Machine Gun Kelly continued the feud when recounting behind-the-scenes gossip on his album Tickets To My Downfall, saying, “Corey did a verse for a song on tickets to my downfall album, it was f###### terrible, so I didn’t use it.”

Corey addressed this claim by posting screenshots of an email chain with Travis Barker, who executive produced the album and reportedly communicated with Corey on the rapper-rocker’s behalf. He captioned the photos: “I said NO to THEM.”

EXCLUSIVE: Papoose Launches His Own Transportation Company

Additional reporting by Shirley Ju (@shirju)

Rapper Papoose and his wife Remy Ma have been very vocal about their investments in the concept of Black Love.

Their wealth has been accumulated by publishing catalogs, real estate, small businesses, a battle rap league, and now, a transportation company.

The newest venture taps into a market that so many Americans, regardless of their race, gender or identity, need. Everyone needs to get around.

In an exclusive conversation with AllHipHop.com, Papoose talks about his new business.

He said, “I also have a transportation company, Honorable Transportation.”

The car service aims to provide top-notch transportation for executives, sports and entertainment personalities, or people who want to ride in style.

“We got all luxury vehicles, sprinters, SUVs,” Papoose told AllHiphop.com. “Any artist who’s in town, if you’re in the northeast area and you travel, reach out to me. I’ll make sure you’re very well taken care of.”

That hands-on attention is what he hopes will distinguish him from others in the market like Uber and Lyft.

According to IBIS World, this is an excellent time to jump into the field, as the “Limousine and Town Car Services industry is set to rebound over the next five years.”

While corporate clients have fueled the industry, reports now believe that leisure travelers will soon account for over one-third of the industry’s demand, making Honorable Transportation – should they include people who want to floss when they are on the move – poised for immense success.

Kim Kardashian Blasts Body-Shaming Haters Over Marilyn Monroe Dress Controversy

Kim Kardashian has rejected criticism of her decision to lose weight to fit into Marilyn Monroe’s iconic dress for the 2022 Met Gala.

The reality TV star walked the famous steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York back in May wearing the crystal-studded gown Marilyn wore when she sang “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” to President John F. Kennedy in 1962.

Kim lost 16 pounds in three weeks to fit into the dress as it couldn’t be altered due to its fragile nature, and while many body image activists criticized her actions, the mother-of-four has now insisted the transformation was no different from an actor losing weight for a film role.

“If I was starving and doing it really unhealthy, I would say that, of course, that’s not a good message,” she said in an interview for Allure. “But I had a nutritionist, I had a trainer. I have never drunk more water in my life. I don’t see the criticism for other people when they lost weight for roles – they are (considered) geniuses for their craft. There are so many things out there that are so not accurate and not true.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, Kim shared that she is continuing to channel Marilyn as she is sticking with her new platinum blonde hair.

“I’m sassier. I’m more confident as a blonde,” the 41-year-old smiled. “As soon as I go back to brunette, I’m a boss. I’m also a totally different person when I have long, fake nails on. I have so much confidence – and I hate long nails! Every once in a while, I need that b#####-boss energy. But when I have to write an essay, I’m like, ‘Get these nails off me!’ I can’t type.”

Ceaser Emanuel’s Team Says He Will Cooperate With Atlanta Law Regarding Animal Abuse Case

The team representing “Black Ink” star Ceaser Emanuel says that he will work with law enforcement in Atlanta and turn himself in after a warrant for his arrest has been issued.

The reality star has been accused of animal cruelty.

The Shade Room reports that Emanuel’s attorney Christina Gill said this in an official statement regarding the surrender, “It has been brought to our attention that the South Fulton Police Department has put out an arrest warrant after his ex-girlfriend Suzette Samuel made a complaint for an animal cruelty incident regarding an unclear 2-year-old video from or about 2019 after a recent breakup.”

“He [Emanuel] intends to fully cooperate with the legal authorities and his counsel to bring him justice for this incident,” the formal remarks continued. “We are not able to confirm or deny if actual charges have been filed but we are in the process of working with the authorities to come to a resolve as he will be willingly turning himself in.”

As an update on the well-being of the animals, Gill wrote, “To date, both animals are thriving, happy, safe, and doing well. Saddened by this situation, Ceaser wants fans to know that this is not who he is to date.”

As reported by AllHipHop.com, Ceaser has been spiraling into a state of depression after being fired by VH1 for a shocking animal abuse scandal.

Ceaser Emanuel can be seen in a video picking up a metal folding chair and striking the dog with it. He also put the tiny pooch in its cage and rolled it down a hill.

He commented on the event, saying, “I’m not gonna make no excuses for myself. I should’ve behaved better. But that’s not me with being cruel to animals or anything like that. I’m not that. What I did was a mistake, and that was just it.”

His legal team made a statement two weeks ago about their position on the incident and his mental state, saying, “Although his actions were not appropriate at all, [Ceaser] is sincerely apologetic and feels extremely bad. He is dealing with death threats which is causing him fear and depression. His only goal was to build an empire to help build jobs and bring the black community in the tattoo industry successful given that the community is limited there.”

Ceaser’s ex-girlfriend, Suzette Samuel, took to social media to respond and labeled the reality star “sick” after he blamed her for leaking the footage.

She said, “How did I make a complaint to animal cruelty? Anything to save face! I think animal cruelty got involved sir once they saw the video.”

According to Suzette, this is a publicity stunt to destroy her image and to protect his name.

She stated on social media that her ex needed help and that he was cheating on her for the entirety of their relationship.

“Your goal has always been to destroy my image if I left and that’s why I stayed as long as I did out of fear. Finding out u was cheating the WHOLE time was enough for me to leave and your MAD! Own up to your own consequences and stop putting my name in s###,” Suzette Samuel snarled.

50 Cent Drags Former Associate For Talking About Him

50 Cent.

50 Cent is not playing games. Fix is one of the single-most aggressive people on social media and we have to learn to leave him alone. In a recent interview with Vlad TV, music industry professional James Cruz was asked a question and the result was a dragging.

All of this is a situation I really wouldn’t even be talking about it if it wasn’t so viral right now. Any rate, he made some sensational allegations suggesting that Jim Cruz was doing things with a certain mogul. What I find interesting is that these gentlemen never seem to sue each other for defamation or any other legal terms like for example libel. These are words you toss around when people are saying things that just aren’t true.

Any rate, 50 Cent is really one of the most aggressive people on social media and nobody seems to check him at all. This is not the first time that 50 Cent and James Cruz I have clashed. And honestly this is not the first time that Cruz had drug rumors surrounding him. 50 Cent has been there to let us know allegedly,, what is happening along the way. Otherwise we certainly wouldn’t know these things on our own.

Lord.

At least Cruz is getting a lot of publicity. This is the good/bad PR that I cannot withstand. But, thousands more people know the name now Tha before.

This is not the first time. It goes back 10 years+ and we still do not know what James may have done to upset 50. But, as you can see 10 years ago this year, he said the same thing as the other day.

Here’s the original interview.

Snoop Dogg Tells His “Best Friend” Martha Stewart About His Angst Over Super Bowl Performance

Snoop Dogg has admitted he felt very anxious prior to the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

The hip-hop legend joined Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige for the widely-praised spectacle back in February.

Reflecting on the gig during an interview with Martha Stewart for “The Martha Podcast,” Snoop confessed that he was uncharacteristically uneasy in the lead-up to the show.

“You know, I was kinda shocked when Dr. Dre called me and said we had it. As it got closer and closer to the date and (it) became a reality, I wasn’t nervous, but I felt like I was kinda anxious,” he recalled.

“Once it started, I was so in the moment, I couldn’t really feel it until I got home and watched it over again, like five or six times. I was like, ‘Wow, this is amazing!'”

Elsewhere in the chat, Martha spoke about her longtime friendship with Snoop, whom she appeared alongside TV show “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party” back in 2016.

The businesswoman noted that her connection to the rapper has widened her demographic, and fans always ask her if they are really friends.

“I always say yes, what do you say?” she asked, to which Snoop Dogg responded: “I always say we’re best friends. It’s a big difference.”
