Kelly Price, where art thou?!

It all started out as a bit of a joke. I was scrolling on social media when I saw somebody post about Kelly Price. The singer had been diagnosed with Covid and was released from the hospital. However, fans that follow her closely noticed that the singer had not posted anything or made any sort of indication that she was alive and well through her social media. So, the internets began to ask if she was OK. The way it was phrased and positioned was humorous. I thought it was quite funny! However, days later, it is becoming serious.

According to reports the singer is actually missing. She has been formally listed as a missing person after a welfare check was conducted on her home last Saturday. That is nearly one week of officially missing for the famed singer.

As of July 29, she revealed that she was in the hospital and had Covid. She was even in ICU because her condition got really bad. Members of her family told TMZ that they were in touch with the singer when she was in the hospital. Her children visited her while she was in the hospital, but about three weeks afterward, she was discharged. Even though she was out of the doctor’s care, it was said that she was not fully healed. Why leave then?

Now, the family says they have not heard from her in any way or form since that time. Some have alleged that her new boyfriend has been keeping her away from her friends and family. This has concerned them as well.

After the authorities went into her home in Georgia, and found her missing, there is now an active investigation to locate Kelly Price. I think all roads lead to her new boo, but that is me speculating!

At least she is still singing! She will be back!

Eminem Is Bringing “Mom’s Spaghetti” To Downtown Detroit

Eminem is offering up more of “Mom’s Spaghetti” to the city of Detroit.

After selling Mom’s Spaghetti at pop-up spots in previous years, Slim Shady announced the opening of a Mom’s Spaghetti location in Downtown Detroit. The restaurant will offer spaghetti with or without meatballs and a “s’ghetti sandwich.”

Eminem ran a commercial on local Detroit television to unveil his new business. Mom’s Spaghetti will be located at 2131 Woodward Avenue in the alley between The Fillmore and the Union Assembly restaurant.

In addition to Mom’s Spaghetti, Eminem is launching a store called The Trailer at the same location. The Trailer is billed as “a store for stans.”

Mom’s Spaghetti is scheduled to open at 5 p.m. on September 29. Eminem’s commercial for the spot flashed the number (313) 888-8388 for further details.

Eminem originally launched Mom’s Spaghetti as a pop-up at The Shelter music venue in 2017. It is cooked in partnership with Detroit’s Union Joints restaurant group, which also operates Union Assembly.

Last year, Eminem and his Marshall Mathers Foundation donated Mom’s Spaghetti to healthcare workers in the Detroit area. Each tub of spaghetti included a thank you message to frontline caregivers for their efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

T Pain Reveals His Latest Beef: Guacamole

T Pain has beef, and he wants the whole world to know about it.

In a recent interview with New York Magazine, the “Buy You a Drank” rapper announced that he hates — absolutely f**king hates — guacamole.

So much so, in fact, that T Pain went on a full rant about it to the esteemed magazine.

“You can get your Chipotle and still eat keto,” he said. “They have a keto bowl. I didn’t know how to take the guacamole off that m###########. It was a lot, and I f###### hate guacamole. So it’s basically chicken on top of greens, and then I got a big-ass thing of queso blanco. Oh, Jesus Christ, poured it over that son of a b####, slapped that m########### in the microwave, make the whole salad hot, mix it up, there you go. Scrape off all the m############ guacamole or tell them to put it on the side. I don’t know how to do that on the app though.”

T Pain is currently promoting his upcoming book, Can I Mix You A Drink?, which will drop in November 2021. The book will feature drink recipes, because as the rapper said, he doesn’t know how to cook.

“I have a lot of respect for people who can cook, ’cause I’m terrible at it — mostly. I don’t know how to do that s###. That’s it. Just from a pure lack of knowledge, I’m in awe, like, How the f### do you guys do that s### up there?” he said.

Omi In A Hellcat Defends Himself After Feds Raid His House And Seize $30 Million In Assets

The feds arrested popular YouTuber Omi in a Hellcat on Tuesday, September 21, but he maintains the FBI has it all wrong.

The social media influencer, whose government name is Bill Omar Carrasquillo, maintains that he is innocent in a federal piracy case they have been trying to pin on him for years.

According to FoxNews, government agents are zeroing in on his Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) Gears Reloaded platform.

This tool allows people to stream content meant for TV over the internet without paying for traditional formats such as satellite, cable services.

Omi knows his way around content distribution. He already has 791,000 YouTube subscribers and averages between 300 and 500,000 views per video.

So figuring out a means to be out here hi-tech bootlegging is not hard for this Master of Media.

His social media talents aside, the Feds have evidence to support this claim after busting him in 2019.

Now considered one of the largest illegal TV pirating cases in the country, the nation’s top law enforcement agents raided his New Jersey home to find numerous luxury vehicles and millions of dollars directly connected to his alleged piracy activities.

They also seized about $35 million in assets.

As the investigation continues, it looks crazy for Omi. Especially since, as Torrent Freak reports, Congress passed the Protecting Lawful Streaming Act of 2020 bill, which will grant law enforcement agencies the right to prosecute pirate streaming services as a felony.

But Omar contends that while he might not be innocent, he didn’t do anything wrong.

“I don’t think I ever did anything wrong. Obviously, I was running businesses wide open in the public. Now, we are going to have our day in court,” Omi said.

Omi further believes that saying that he doesn’t see himself as “completely innocent” and shares that what he was doing in the “grey area” and that he simply exploited what he thought was a “loophole.”

He also feels a little targeted and stated, “There is other colleagues in the same business I was in and they never got in trouble with the FBI.”

Omi in a Hellcat is facing 514 years in prison.

21 Savage Charged With Drug And Gun Possession, Released On Bond

21 Savage was released on bond after turning himself in for drug and gun charges in Dekalb County, Georgia.

According to Buzzfeed, a warrant for 21 Savage’s arrest on felony drug and weapons possession was issued on September 7. His lawyers said he wasn’t aware of the warrant until September 23. He surrendered to authorities that same day.

The Epic Records artist was booked for possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of a gun on Thursday. The charges stem from 21 Savage’s 2019 arrest by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers.

21 Savage, whose real name is She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, came under the scrutiny of ICE after it was discovered he’d be living in America without a visa for years. The case revealed he was a British native who relocated to the United States as a child.

ICE is still seeking to deport 21 Savage to the United Kingdom. His lawyer Charles Kuck believes ICE is behind the new charges, which were pursued by DeKalb County Police Department.

“The warrant appears to have been sought at the behest of ICE, as the warrant was issued in the eve of an Immigration Court hearing in Mr. Joseph’s deportation proceeding, and is based upon events that transpired on the evening that ICE arrested Mr. Joseph over 2 and one half years ago,” Kuck said in a statement.

Law enforcement officials claim they found a handgun in 21 Savage’s car when he was arrested in 2019. He’s also accused of throwing away a bottle that contained liquid with codeine in it.

“There can be no doubt that ICE is seeking to cover its own errors in detaining Mr. Jospeh by pushing trumped up charges against him and seeks to stop him from obtaining lawful permanent residence in the United States” Kuck stated.

21 Savage is scheduled to have a hearing about immigration status on November 1.

‘The View’ Hosts Diagnosed With COVID-19 Live On Air — Asked To Leave While Broadcast Was Rolling

Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro were asked to leave The View while the show was filming live because they both test positive for the coronavirus.  Both ladies were fully vaccinated but still were impacted by the virus that has gripped the world for almost two years.

Right before a segment with the national vice president, Ms. Kamala Harris, the two daytime hosts peeled off the set during the segment transition.  An off-screen producer interrupted the broadcast and said, “[We] need the two of you to step off for a second.”

As Joy Behar mentioned that Ana and Sunny had to leave, the voice of god said again, “And we are going to bring them back later.”

Both Behar and the producer agreed to share with the public later, saying “it’s a tease.”

Immediately, the maintenance crew came in and cleaned the area of the desk where they were sitting.

In the next segment Madame Vice President, the first person of African and/or Asian descent and woman to hold the office, commented on their abrupt removal.

“Sunny [Hostin] and Ana [Navarro] are strong women and I know they’re fine, but it really also does speak to the fact that they’re vaccinated and vaccines really make all the difference because otherwise, we would be concerned about hospitalization and worse,” Harris said.

The White House shared with the press that the nation’s 2nd in command did not interact with either of the two women before the interview, noting it was conducted from a remote location after a delay.

Harris continued, “I’ve been watching, like many of you, with heartache, with the videos of people who are in an ICU bed, who did not get vaccinated, pleading with their family members, ‘please get vaccinated.’”

“You know, when I think of it in the context of any one of us who have had these awful experiences of holding the hands of a loved one who is in an ICU bed, or is near death … like, don’t put your families through that. The vaccine is free. It is safe, and it will save your life. So folks just need to get vaccinated,” she stated.

 CNN reported last month that the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has data that reveals that more than 99.99% of people who are fully vaccinated “have not had a breakthrough case resulting in hospitalization or death.”

There is currently a big debate on whether or not people who are fully vaccinated should get the booster shot. Pfizer has a booster, but Moderna has not moved on the company’s decision for a third dose.

Elon Musk — who most recently made headlines after he withdrew his support from Kanye West — is a single man.

Page Six is reporting that the billionaire, SpaceX founder, and ex-lover of Azaelia Banks has split with his longtime girlfriend, Grimes, after three years together. The outlet received an exclusive statement from the pair, stating that they’ll continue to co-parent their child X Æ A-Xii Musk, who is now one.

“We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently, and are on great terms,” said Elon Musk in the statement. “It’s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in LA. She’s staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room.”

Musk and Grimes were last spotted together at the Met Gala earlier this year. Grimes walked the red carpet alone, but later joined Musk inside.

Even though the pair enjoyed each other’s company at the star-studded event — which was co-hosted by Keke Palmer — Elon Musk later attended a Google party alone, which led folks to believe that he “consciously uncoupled” with Grimes.

Testimony Alleges No One Talked About R. Kelly Abusing Teens Because He Paid People To Look The Other Way

Why didn’t people know about R. Kelly sexually abusing minors for almost 30 years? Because despite whatever learning disabilities he claimed and his labeling as a misunderstood creative, he was a brilliant operator and understood his power as a leader.

At least that is what the prosecution believes.

According to the Associated Press, the prosecution said that how he kept his circle tight and ruled them with an iron fist so that his dark secrets weren’t made public. People’s desire to stay down with the GRAMMY Award-winning mega-star afforded him a sinister power over his business associates and employees that left a trail of broken teen girls and young women.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Elizabeth Geddes said during her closing arguments, “The defendant set rules, lots of them, and he demanded complete obedience.”

“For many years what happened in the defendant’s world stayed in the defendant’s world,” she continued. “But no longer.”

Popular blogger thePlainestjane covered the federal trial that started six weeks ago. She shared testimonies, gathered from news sources that she cites on her YouTube channel (New York Times, AP, The Root, etc.) were allowed access into the court, of people either looking the other way, opting to just do what they were told without questioning because they were on staff or simply did not connect the dots between a middle-aged man dating girls that looked like they could be his daughter.

The federal case against the disgraced singer alleged that he set up a network of assistants, bodyguards, and other hanger-oners that helped him take advantage of young girls like Azriel Clary and R&B music princess Aaliyah Haughton.

Geddes aimed to prove that he used these individuals “to target, groom and exploit girls, boys and young women for his own sexual gratification.” And with their over 400 pieces of evidence and 45 witnesses, she contends that they provided enough to prove he did.

R. Kelly, who told the judge that he would not be taking the stand to defend himself, still maintains his innocence of charges of sexual abuse, trafficking, and racketeering. The racketeering is addressed by all the people he hired to (as testified by witnesses) a) pick up girls at the concerts, b) tend to the girls’ needs, c) witnessed his abuse but told those were penalties for disobeying “Robert’s Rules,” and d) upholding his rules even if they were immoral or illegal.

If convicted in this federal case, he may never see the light of day as a free man.

Run The Jewels Add Lil Wayne To ‘RTJ4’ Deluxe Album

El-P and Killer Mike released their fourth studio album RTJ4 in June 2020. The Hip Hop duo, collectively known as Run The Jewels, is back with an expanded version of the project.

RTJ4 (Deluxe Edition) includes a remix of “Ooh La La” featuring Young Money Entertainment’s Lil Wayne. Gang Starr producer DJ Premier and Nice & Smooth rapper Greg Nice remained on the song as well.

Nicholas Gazin drew the “Ooh La La (Remix)” cover, and Diane Hoang animated that image. The artwork for RTJ4 (Deluxe Edition) was created by Tim Saccenti.

RTJ4 is the highest-charting album of Run The Jewels’ career. Killer Mike and El-P’s most recent body of work debuted at #10 on the Billboard 200 chart with 38,000 first-week units.

The RTJ4 standard edition contained features by Greg Nice, DJ Premier, 2 Chainz, Pharrell Williams, Mavis Staples, Josh Homme, and Zack de la Rocha. Besides the “Ooh La La” remix, RTJ4 (Deluxe Edition) also consists of instrumental tracks.

Last year, El-P and Killer Mike made RTJ4 available for free. The pair of veteran emcees stated at the time, “The world is infested with b####### so here’s something raw to listen to while you deal with it all. We hope it brings you some joy.”

Massachusetts-bred emcee Joyner Lucas was in the news a lot lately after accusing Karen Civil of stealing $60,000 from him. The 33-year-old artist has now focused on music again.

Joyner Lucas dropped his new single “Your Heart” overnight. The Palaze-produced track features Dreamville Records leader J. Cole.

Getting a J. Cole verse in 2021 is a big deal. Following his well-received run of guest appearances in 2018 and 2019, J. Cole announced his contribution to Gang Starr’s “Family And Loyalty” would be his final feature.

2021 also saw Joyner Lucas work with other high-profile entertainers. In April, Lucas connected with Lil Baby for the “Ramen & OJ” music video. He also secured cameos from Mark Wahlberg and Sean “Diddy” Combs for the “Zim Zimma” visuals.

Additionally, Joyner Lucas found his name in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 last year. The Twenty Nine Music Group rapper’s ADHD album peaked at #10 on the weekly rankings. 2020’s Evolution leveled off at #49.

Earlier this week, J. Cole let loose his own version of Drake’s “Pipe Down” called “Heaven’s EP.” That song followed the North Carolina native;s dropping The Off-Season album in May.

Black Mafia Family is set to premiere on the Starz network. Hip Hop mogul Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson serves as one of the executive producers for the upcoming series.

The BMF criminal organization, once led by Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, inspired Black Mafia Family. The show will premiere on Sunday, September 26.

Da’Vinchi plays Southwest T on Black Mafia Family, and Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory, Jr. portrays his father Big Meech. BNC News interviewed both men.

“It puts more pressure on me because they’re still here,” replied Lil Meech when asked about playing Big Meech. “I want to make them proud because they were the ones right there to do it, so I gotta do it right.”

The Miami-born, Los Angeles-based actor continued, “I can’t just do it how I want to. I have to really put the work in and make sure it was done right, so my dad, as well as my family, can be proud.”

Rich The Kid Walks Off DJ Akademiks Podcast

DJ Akademiks is well known for his drama-inducing controversial content and this interview was no exception. Rich the Kid looked visibly uncomfortable from the outset while Ak seemed determined to keep him that way, repeatedly driving the conversation to awkward subjects that Rich wasn’t down to talk about.  

“I like to promote my artists, my label, my albums, my music, my merchandise,” Rich said from the jump, already frustrated at the direction the interview was headed. “I got a skateboard that just dropped, did you see that?  

Ak dismissively tells him, “We’re gonna talk about that. When I get into the skateboarding segment don’t worry.” He continued to venture into topics Rich doesn’t want to talk about like his issues with Interscope asking, “Why are you calling out Interscope if you were a boss.” 

Saying he has to ask the questions people want answered Akademiks asked him about his friendship with NBA YoungBoy who’s currently incarcerated, and went on about how much love YoungBoy has for him.  

DJ Akademiks then changed tack and briefly plugged Rich’s upcoming album. “That’s the promotion aspect right, we’ll keep going,” but moved swiftly on saying, ”These are the questions I really got and if you don’t want to answer, it’s cool.” 

Rich, clearly uncomfortable, laughed nervously and began mockingly wrapping up the show in an attempt to divert the conversation to safer territory. Undeterred, Ak continued, “On a serious note, I see s### like home invasion and this, that and the third, are you good?” At this point, Rich had had enough and walked off set. “Come back, Rich! Come back. He stepped out but we’ll get him back on. Ay, listen, I’m gonna ask everything that gotta be asked,” he said with a smug look on his face. 

The controversial media personality may not have got the answers he was looking for but no doubt he was still content with the outcome.

Kash Doll Announces She’s Pregnant With Her First Child

Detroit rapper Arkeisha “Kash Doll” Knight will soon be a mother. The Stacked album creator announced her pregnancy on Thursday evening

Kash Doll posted several mom-to-be photos online. Those images garnered nearly 60,000 likes on Twitter and nearly 1 million likes on Instagram in under ten hours.

This will be Kash Doll’s first child. The Republic recording artist did not reveal the father of the baby.

Kash Doll is part of executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s drama series BMF. She plays a defense attorney’s paralegal named Monique.

BMF tells the true story of the drug distribution network known as the Black Mafia Family. The Starz show about BMF leaders Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory is set to premiere on September 26.

No 50 Cent show would be complete without some live performances and Fif brought out some of his rapper friends and castmates to entertain the live audience.  

T.I made an appearance and seems to be continuing his mission to get 50 Cent to go head-to-head with him in a “Verzuz” battle. As his set wound down, he was called out “50 I’m waiting on you!”  

T.I first challenged 50 Cent to a “Verzuz” showdown in a video he shared to Instagram back in July last year. “Pull up and catch this Trap Muzik fade big fella…. @50cent,” he said in the caption.

He revived the sentiments after Fat Joe and Ja Rule’s showdown at Madison Square Garden earlier this month spurred on by Diddy’s refusal to take on Jermaine Dupri. Diddy said only Dr. Dre has what it takes to challenge him which T.I took personally!  

In a 28-minute video uploaded to his Instagram T.I said “So, when it gets down to the Verzuz conversation about Puff and JD, or me and 50 [Cent], that s### just hit different. It’s like, ‘Oh, okay what you think n####? What you trying to say?’” the “Whatever You Like” 

T.I continued, “You saying just cause you from New York? Come on man… Then, for the m############ saying, ‘You can’t see him, you’re not on his level.’ Why? Cause you say so? What have you done? Who made you the judge and the jury, the end all be all?”

Some of the other performances on the night included Snoop Dogg, Lil Duval, and Da Baby. 50 Cent also rocked the stage performing classics including “Many Men” and the “Power” theme song, “Big Rich Town.” Moneybagg Yo also took to the stage to perform “Wokesha” as did Lil Meech who appears as his father Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory in the show.  

Fiddy’s highly-anticipated “BMF” series based on the life of story of the Black Mafia Family in southwest Detroit in the late 1980s is slated to premiere this coming Sunday on “Starz.” 50 Cent confirmed that he will appear on the show’s theme song alongside a couple of other heavy-hitting rappers.  

The “Get Rich or Die Trying” rapper announced that the song is titled “Wish Me Luck,” and revealed “that joint hasn’t been heard in its entirety. Moneybagg Yo, myself, and Snoop Dogg are on that song.” 

“Building out records, music that means something culturally at the time when I’m putting it into the programming, that’s the idea. They’ll get a chance to feel the full effects of it when the show premieres,” 50 Cent said in the interview with “ThisIs50.”

As her birthday month and Virgo seasons come to an end Bey took some time out to share a heartfelt message to her fans telling the Beyhive “I love you DEEP!” 

In a handwritten letter posted to her official website she wrote, “The more mature I become, the more I understand and the deeper my joy grows. There’s a freedom and liberation knowing that I’ve made it to the other side of my sacrifice. I’m finally giving myself permission to enjoy the seeds I’ve worked so hard to plant my whole life.”  

It’s clear that Beyoncé is embracing turning 40 reflecting on the milestone birthday revealing she’s “cried tears of joy” because this is “the best I’ve felt in my life.” Welcoming the growth that should come with age she wrote “I’m so grateful to be GROWN, GROWN!”

“Whoever tried to condition women to feel that we are supposed to be old or unhappy when we turn 40 got it ALL THE WAY F’D UP,” she declared. “This has absolutely been the best I’ve felt in my life.”    

She continued: “This is the first year that I really understand what it means to be alive and to live in the moment. It’s the first time that I have an understanding of how fragile life truly is, how hard life can be at times, and therefore how important it is to stop and smell the roses during the good times. I thought I knew that at 21 or 30…but I didn’t.” 

Beyoncé took the time to show some love and appreciation to her loyal fans and the journey they’ve shared.  

“I’m grateful to everyone involved, especially, the fans, for the time and level of detail it took to organize such beautiful tributes,” she wrote. “Most of y’all met me when I was 15, and we have grown up together. You bring soooo much joy into my life. I hope my art can continue to bring a little joy into yours. I Love You Deep Deep Deep Deep Deep.”

Nas Headlines “Concert to Feed NYC” His First Live Show In NY For 3 Years

The message was “you can’t rain on our parade” as Nas headlined the “Concert to Feed NYC” at the historic Forest Hills Stadium last night, Thursday, September 23. 

The concert was in aid of City Harvest, New York City’s first and largest food rescue organization and all proceeds from the event will go directly to the cause. The costs of the venue have also been donated.  

New Yorker Nas was born in Brooklyn and raised in Queensbridge Houses in Long Island City and the cause is one that is close to his heart, he has been a long-time supporter of City Harvest.  

Speaking before the show which marked his first live performance in New York for three years Nas said, “I am looking forward to returning to the stage for a performance in my hometown — especially since it supports a cause I care deeply about.”  

The concert comes at a time of historic food insecurity across New York, heightened by the pandemic. According to City Harvest “Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, New York City was facing a profound hunger crisis—particularly in the marginalized communities that City Harvest has long served.”  

The organization says huge numbers of New Yorkers have been affected by the crisis with more than 2.5 million working-age New Yorkers struggling to make ends meet before the start of the pandemic. Nearly 1.2 million New Yorkers were experiencing food insecurity, including one in five New York City children. Those numbers grew rapidly during the pandemic and show no signs of slowing down. There are now more than 1.5 million New Yorkers now experiencing food insecurity, including one in three children 

City Harvest CEO Jilly Stephens explained, “The Concert to Feed NYC will help us rescue and deliver more food for the many New Yorkers who are struggling to put meals on their tables because of the pandemic, many for the first time.  

“We are so grateful to have a dedicated and passionate friend in Nas who will create such a special evening to support our work. Together, we can feed our city.”
