Redman Says He Paid For Side Chicks’ Abortions on ‘The Muddy Waters Show’

When it comes to spilling your own tea, nobody’s better at it than Redman.

The modern-day hip hop legend went on The Muddy Waters Show and got ahead of his own tea.

Though he’s settled down now with a family of his own, Redman said that during his wildest and craziest days, he’d have reckless sex with all sorts of women. When they inevitably turned up pregnant, he’d pay for their abortions.

Uh…yay, fiscal responsibility? Although a condom would have been cheaper.

While these Redman revelations are certainly raw, they aren’t that shocking to anyone over the age of 40. While Gen Z looks at the Wu-Tang Clan and its affiliates as the cool and cuddly uncles on Hulu’s “Wu-Tang: An American Saga,” oldheads know how the Killa Bees really used to get down. Never mind the Method Man rumors that never seem to ever die — this is a group that gladly gave us “Ice Cream,” which is a great song, but it’s also about banging every broad in Richmond County that has a pulse, a legal ID, and gives consent.

Let’s also remember that there was a time that Redman and his affiliation with the Wu was in jeopardy when he “went soft” and married his longtime girlfriend instead of following the Clan protocol of tossing her out in the morning with well wishes and a CD copy of Enter the 36 Chambers.

Autographed, of course, because they were classy like that.

Allegedly.

Did Megan Thee Stallion Get Married? A YouTuber Claims She Did

Megan Thee Stallion may be happily married.

A YouTuber by the name of CeBe claims that the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper married her longtime boyfriend, Pardison Fontaine, in an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles last week. The pair, who have been together for more than a year, is reportedly “very happy” about their new marital status.

CeBe also claims that the couple confirmed their marital status at Jay-Z’s party celebrating the launch of the 40/40 Club. Reportedly, Megan Thee Stallion and Pardison Fontaine wore matching wedding bands at this event.

Take a listen to the evidence below.

Back in February 2021, Pardison Fontaine (who goes by the mononym “Pardi”) and Hot Girl Meg officially announced that they were an item. Pardi, who worked with Cardi B on a song of his own, is Meg’s most high-profile boyfriend since she played the are-they-or-aren’t-they game with Moneybagg Yo.

“I thought to myself, ‘Jay-Z is not going to do a song with somebody named Pardi McFly,'” he revealed. “So, I just dropped the McFly and I kept the Pardi,” he said to People Magazine (via Harper’s Bazaar) about his choice of name.

Thus far, there’s been no word from Megan Thee Stallion or Pardison Fontaine about the rumor. However, we’ll keep you posted and updated if they confirm — or deny — it either way. But if it’s true, congratulations are in order for the happy couple!

Bow Wow Says He’s Working On A ‘Like Mike’ Sequel

Back in 2002, Shad “Lil Bow Wow” Moss starred in the sports comedy movie Like Mike. The John Schultz-directed production grossed over $62 million at the global box office.

David Nelson’s Like Mike 2: Streetball was released direct-to-video four years later. However, that film does not feature any of the original cast members. Jascha Washington (Big Momma’s House) played the main character in Like Mike 2.

It looks like the veteran entertainer now simply known as Bow Wow is ready to create another Like Mike-type movie. The rapper/actor took to Twitter to tease a third version of the basketball-themed film is in the works.

“We are working on a Like Mike sequel. It’s all just ideas as [of] now. But yes we have been talking. So far so good,” posted Bow Wow on Wednesday morning.

The Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta cast member added, “Shhhhh….. another gem ima drop. It won’t be called LIKE MIKE. But LIKE someone. We are taking our time with this one. I believe this [might] be bigger than [the] original. Can’t wait.”

2002’s Like Mike centers around an orphan named Calvin Cambridge (Bow Wow) who finds a pair of old sneakers once worn by NBA icon Michael Jordan. The special shoes give Calvin exceptional basketball skills.

In July, Warner Bros. Pictures released a sequel to another basketball film involving Michael Jordan. Space Jam: A New Legacy hit theaters and HBO Max with 4-time NBA Champion LeBron James taking over the lead role from MJ.

Kanye West Tops The Hot 100 Songwriters & Producers Charts For The First Time

The #1 album in the country belongs to Kanye West. Donda debuted in the top spot of the Billboard 200 chart, giving West his tenth chart-topper.

Kanye West also leads other prominent Billboard tallies this week. The G.O.O.D. Music founder currently sits atop the Hot 100 Songwriters and Hot 100 Producers charts.

This is the first time Kanye West has led the Songwriters and Producers rankings. He became the twelfth act to take the pole position on both charts at the same time.

J. Cole pulled off the double victory earlier this year following the release of his latest album, The Off-Season. West and Cole join Nigro, Finneas, David Stewart, Louis Bell, Metro Boomin, OZ, Ricky Reed, Taylor Swift, TBHits, and The Weeknd as the only other acts to top both charts simultaneously.

Kanye West also leads the latest Billboard‘s Artist 100. That particular chart measures music acts’ performance on the Hot 100 song chart, the Billboard 200 album chart, and the Social 50 chart.

Twenty-three songs off Donda landed on this week’s Hot 100. “Hurricane” is Ye’s highest-charting song at #6. Only four artists (Kanye West, Drake, Lil Wayne, and Lil Uzi Vert) have scored at least 20 tracks on the Hot 100 in a single week.

Donda finally arrived on August 29 following weeks of teased released dates. Kanye West’s tenth studio album was met with mixed reviews from professional critics and fans. However, Donda still managed to break Apple Music streaming records.

Aaliyah’s Self-Titled Album Set To Hit Streaming Services

Blackground Records 2.0 continues to present Aaliyah’s catalog on streaming services for the first time. Up next is the late singer’s 2001 self-titled album.

Aaliyah is scheduled to arrive on streamers this Friday, September 10. The studio LP was originally released six weeks before Aaliyah Haughton and eight others were killed in a plane crash in the Bahamas.

The re-release of Aaliyah follows 1996’s One In A Million arriving on streaming platforms in August. One In A Million jumped into the Billboard 200’s Top 10 for the first time after hitting DSPs last month.

Aaliyah initially opened at #2 on the Billboard 200 before climbing to #1 after the Detroit native’s death. The project is certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Songs such as “We Need a Resolution,” “Rock the Boat,” and “More Than a Woman” live on the Aaliyah album. Production was provided by Timbaland, Eric Seats, Rapture Stewart, J. Dub, and Bud’da.

There has been some controversy connected to Blackground Records 2.0 adding Aaliyah’s discography to streaming services. The Estate of Aaliyah Haughton released a statement taking issue with the release of Aaliyah’s music “without any transparency or full accounting to the estate.”

Polo G Gets Released From Jail Following Arrest On Gun Charges

There have been highs and lows this year for Taurus “Polo G” Bartlett. The 22-year-old Chicago-bred rap star scored his first #1 single and #1 album on the Billboard charts in 2021.

However, Polo G has also faced legal troubles over the last few months. In June, the “Rapstar” hitmaker was taken into custody in Miami on multiple charges, including battery on a police officer.

Polo G was arrested again on September 6 in Los Angeles after officers allegedly found two loaded firearms during a traffic stop. The Columbia recording artist was said to be the passenger in the vehicle.

According to Los Angeles County Sherriff’s Department, Polo is presently a free man. The Hall of Fame album creator was released on a $35,000 bond. His next court date is set for January 6, 2022.

Polo G was able to break out as a mainstream music act this year. Hall of Fame debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 rankings in June with 143,000 first-week units.

Before he found success with Hall of Fame, Polo G also hit the pinnacle of the Hot 100 chart when “Rapstar” opened at #1 in April. The single spent two weeks atop the weekly tally.

Though the media personality captioned the post: “Allegedly someone shot at #trippieredd tour bus after his show in Baltimore. No injuries were reported .. thankfully.” “WBAL TV” reports that this is not, in fact, the case.

They report that the tour bus had just left the MECU Pavilion in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor to head to the airport. A passing motorist pulled up to the side of the bus and opened fire just before 3 a.m, one of the bullets hitting the bus driver. The unidentified driver then pulled off the roadway onto the departure lanes of Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport to get help.

It is unknown who the intended target of the shooting was. Elena Russo, spokeswoman for the Maryland State Police said, “Part of the ongoing active investigation is to determine whether this was a targeted incident or not.”

“Police have been working with the passengers on board the bus as well as a few motorists who were driving by who did see the incident so there are a few conflicting details in terms of what kind of vehicle was involved and what that suspect might have looked like,” Russo said.

Also unknown is whether Trippie Redd was on board at the time of the shooting although the ten members of the concert who were on the bus are reportedly unharmed.

No charges have been filed or arrests made at this time and the investigation is ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information relevant to this incident to contact the Glen Burnie Barrack at 410-761-5130.

“It’s going through the mixing process,” Uzi revealed. “Last time I dropped an album, it did really well. It was actually my highest-selling album. It was a little bit experimental on the mixing part — not the music. This time, I went experimental on the music, and traditional on the mixing.”

Legendary Rapper Philthy Rich Facing “Real Time”

In July, Philthy Rich, born Phillip Beasley was charged with conspiracy to make false statements in the acquisition of a firearm and one count of making a false statement in the purchase of a firearm. The case came to court in Las Vegas on August 3 and the Oakland rapper pleaded not guilty. Court records state he signed a document saying he would not commit crimes or tamper with evidence and was released the following day.

The charge sheet alleges that Philthy Rich had his co-defendant, Jasmine Garica buy guns for him. The allegations are that Garica purchased three pistols from Precision Armory in Las Vegas. She took responsibility for the firearms, signing a document confirming that she bought the guns for her own use. The prosecution’s case is that Beasley paid her for the guns and kept them himself.

According to court records, both co-defendants, Philthy Rich and Jasmine Garcia are represented by the same Las Vegas law firm. Beasley’s attorney, David Chesnoff, said he expected his client to be vindicated. “We are looking forward to the trial of this matter as our client absolutely maintains his innocence,” he said.

It is unknown what possible penalty Philty Rich is looking at if convicted, the charging records give no details on that note. However, in a recent Instagram video Philty Rich said he’s looking at “real time,” if found guilty of the charges.

It is also reported that he declared his innocence via his Instagram Story. “I appreciate all the concerns and real love but if u no me then u no those allegations don’t fit my caliber,” he wrote. “I’m cut from a diff cloth so I take the good wit the bad and if any of that was true I’m sure I wouldn’t be free.”

In an interview in July with Cam Capone News the rapper offers $1 million to anyone with any facts about his case.

We brought you an interview with Rich in June where he opens up about his hustles outside of rap from dog breeding to weed strands.

Philthy Rich started his career back in 2007, rising to prominence outside of the traditional routes of radio and television. He is still putting out music with his songs being streamed and downloaded in their millions. He is an active youth mentor using his own criminal past and experiences growing up in East Oakland to deter young people from a life of crime.

Rumors have swirled throughout his career of heavy involvement with criminal activity although he has no adult criminal convictions in Alameda County.

A Day in The Life of Executive Music Producer, Edward Bruce

A lot of people enjoy a pie without knowing what goes into the preparation. Like baking a pie, music production involves a lot of work that most people don’t realize. Edward Bruce unveils the behind-the-scenes world of music production.

Bruce is an award-winning executive music producer and the founder of Tuigse Music Group (TMG). He has worked with various brands, such as Redbull and the BBC, and artists, including UK rapper Shogun; he executive produced Shogun’s release with Dizzee Rascal. He has achieved millions of streams of his label’s releases.

Before joining the music industry, Bruce created gaming content. However, four years ago, he decided to expand his career and started TMG.

According to Bruce, music production is more than just putting out good music. His job is to ensure everything goes according to plan, from sound engineering to video production and the coordination of each team.

When Bruce joined the music industry, he wanted to help young talents with their digital presence and provide personalized services. His label now provides talent management and has a creative team that caters to digital solutions, videography, and graphic design. In addition, they provide their own in-house distribution.

In a profession where each day is a new adventure, Bruce says, “It can be quite challenging to plan your day in advance as you never know what to expect.” For instance, he explains that some musicians will have a detailed plan of how they want the song to flow; others only have the lyrics. After analyzing the draft, Bruce oversees the next stage which is the composition. “In this stage, one of the focuses is building a beat that supports your rhythmic ideas,” says Bruce.

As someone who considers music a language and a way to express emotions, the next stage is crucial. Bruce explains that the arrangement involves organizing the song structure from the introduction to the outro. Different instruments bring a different feel to the music. “Adding or subtracting instruments or beats may build or reduce tension,” notes Bruce. When arranging a song, his focus is on what to increase or decrease. Bruce explains that they check on the transition, fills, and duration of the song.

“What follows is production,” says Bruce. Production entails sound design and video production. First, concentrating on audio production, he works on editing the samples, ensuring proper sound effects, and checking for issues that may cause problems in the mixing stage. The second part is video production, and Bruce notes that most artists prefer to release the audio first and the music video later.

Once the production is completed, they now combine the bits and pieces to create a complete song, something he refers to as audio mixing. Seeing that TMG Group does in-house distribution, Bruce masters the audio at the final stage, and they then proceed to distribution.

Music production is undoubtedly a complex process and requires a lot of hard work and team effort to achieve great results.

Liam Dineen Becomes an Independent Musician on Social Media

“Musicians want to be the loud voice for so many quiet hearts.” – Billy Joel

Musicians portray their thoughts through music which doesn’t necessarily need words to be understood. It requires that special talent and zeal to weave your emotions into notes to form music. However, with the advent of digital media, talents across the world have found a platform to showcase their skills to the world. While this has opened a gateway to opportunities, it has also made the space highly competitive. Talent has to be unique to be distinguished. Over the last few years, only a handful of musicians have sustained their fame on platforms of social media.

Musician and music producer Liam Dineen is one of them. The young and talented artist has now become one of the biggest music sensations on social media through his engaging content. He has been consistent in his effort to entertain his fans on social media and that explains his huge follower base of 8.5 million. Liam Dineen started his journey in his teens as a drummer in a rap band. He eventually found a 9 to 5 job, which was suffocating his talent. After he explored the possibilities of social media, Liam quit his job to pursue his passion.

It was not easy for him to build such a crazy fan following. Initially, he struggled to get noticed. With no one to guide him and no music label to showcase his talent, Liam was on his own to find his audience. With dedication and hard work, Liam Dineen managed to grow his fan base. Now with millions across the world waiting to listen to him, the 33-year-old musician doesn’t need a label to launch his debut song. He built his own platform, created his own follower base, and also launched himself as an artist purely based on his unique talent and refined sense of music.

In 2021, Liam Dineen made his debut into the music industry with the single “Go Getta”. Within a few weeks of its release, the song earned millions of views across all social media platforms and even became a trending track on many of them. The song is essentially a hard-hitting track that blends undertones of soft music. The lyrics are relatable to real-world issues and he has managed to connect to the audiences on a personal level.

After the overwhelming response of his debut single, Liam Dineen is now preparing to launch his upcoming album. It is expected to be released by the end of this year across all his social media accounts. Liam has not spoken much about this project and wants to keep it a secret for now. He is busy preparing for this album which will present a series of fresh music and thrilling tracks to his audiences.

Liam Dineen wants to continue his journey in the music industry through social media as he has a list of goals to be achieved in the coming years. He is resolved to keep engaging his fans through stunning content and grow his follower base to another staggering number in the future.

Rick Ross Quits Joyriding, Finally Passes Test To Get His Driver’s License

Rapper and car collector Rick Ross is finally able to get behind the wheel legally – he has passed his driving test, aged 45.

Ross owns more than 100 collectible cars, but until recently, he wasn’t technically allowed to drive any of them.

Now the rapper has finally scored his license, telling Today on Tuesday (September 7), “I have over 100 cars, and I just hadn’t had my license,” and explaining he got a lift to the Department of Motor Vehicles, where he took the test.

Admitting it was his family who convinced him to finally sign up and stop “joyriding” he adds, “My mom and sister pressured me, finally, so I went, took the test. It took me an hour. You know, I missed a few answers but I got it, I got it.”

And the big achievement was worth the wait, although the star implies he was yet to find himself in legal hot water for not having his paperwork in order.

“You know, because you should have your driver’s license… anytime I got pulled over, by the time the officer walked up…,” he smiles, suggesting he was always recognized by law enforcement officials.

Nipsey Hussle’s Estate Goes After Bootleggers Selling Knock Off Merch

Someone once said that rappers are worth more dead than alive.

While that is not always true, there does to seem to be a rush of interest in the music, merch, and estate of certain rappers after they meet an untimely demise.

Sometimes the interest is from a sincere place, but other times people are straight exploitation! The estate of the late and great Nipsey Hussle knows this first hand and they are not about to tolerate it any longer.

According to TMZ, Samiel (Blacc Sam) Asghedom, the estate administrator, is suing anyone selling bootleg merch with his brother’s image on it.

He made the filing in a federal court in Illinois, claiming that many of the sales seem to target fans that live in that state.

He alleges that there are companies, not connected to any of the Marathon-related registered trademarks, perping like they are the real deals.

E-commerce websites, many that seem to be from China and specializing in urban wear, are selling all kinds of knockoff shirts, jackets, and caps with their signature “Crenshaw” and “South Central State of Mind,” and Blacc Sam is making sure that they are legally authorized to profit from Nip’s legacy.

There are also websites that seems to be related to the Nip but they are not.

Asghedom, on behalf of Nip’s estate and interests, wants the courts to give him the domain registrations and wants to be awarded all the profits from the sales that have their trademark.

Should these businesses not comply, the ask is that they get hit with a $2 million fine per infraction.

Andrea Constand Calls Bill Cosby A “Sexually Violent” Predator

Bill Cosby accuser Andrea Constand has broken her silence following the comedian’s release from jail, calling the TV star “a sexually violent predator”.

Cosby spent three years behind bars after he was found guilty of drugging and sexually assaulting Temple University staff member Constand in 2004, but his conviction was overturned in June (21), days before he was granted his freedom.

His accuser previously told reporters she was “shocked” and “disappointed” by the news Cosby was getting out of jail, and now she has given her first interview since the comedian’s release.

“He’s a sexually violent predator who basically was let out of jail,” she told U.S. morning show Today on Tuesday, adding she was disgusted by images of Fatherhood star raising his fist in triumph.

“It didn’t surprise me, given the level of the arrogance and having no remorse. During the time he was incarcerated, absolutely zero remorse for what he did to me.

“Bill Cosby walks free, but it doesn’t change the fact that my testimony was believed.”

The comedian was convicted of three counts of indecent aggravated assault against Constand in 2018 and sentenced to three-to-10 years in prison.

Andrea adds, “I have come way too far to go back to that place to wonder whether it’s all worth it or to have regrets, but it was worth it because I didn’t feel alone. I had a whole community, a whole army of women and other survivors, strangers, family, friends, who were right there with me.”

More than 60 women have accused The Cosby Show star of sexual assault.

Constand’s new memoir about her experiences with the now-freed TV star and the criminal justice system, The Moment, is out on Tuesday.

NBA YoungBoy Inks Big Deal With Motown Records

Motown Records used to be known for its all-American, squeaky-clean roster of artists.

Well, that was in the early days as the iconic label has just announced a global joint venture with YoungBoy Never Broke Again.

One of the hottest rappers out, and most controversial, NBA YoungBoy has brokered a deal with the label gave the world names like Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye and Michael Jackson. They also gave the world Rick James, who also ushered in an age of unadulterated ghetto life.

Forty years later, the Louisiana native and his Never Broke Again, LLC will be releasing a compilation called The Never Broke Again Volume 1 compilation with the brand featuring himself, P Yungin, Meechy Baby, Quando Rondo, No Cap, Rjae and Rojay. It will have 16 unreleased tracks.

Never Broke Again Ent.

“I’m excited to work with Never Broke Again, a homegrown brand that has created an incredibly authentic and credible movement that represents the next generation in Louisiana’s legacy of ground-breaking hip-hop labels,” Ethiopia Habtemariam, Chairman and CEO of Motown Records. “I look forward to working with YoungBoy and Montana to continue to grow their vision and reach their fans around the world.”

NBA Youngboy is also excited about the collaboration.

He said, “I felt like I had a responsibility to my artists to make sure to find the right partner for my label. I’m looking forward working with Ethiopia, Kenoe and Motown Records.”

The goal is also to release solo projects from 16-year old P Yungin and Meechy Baby next year, early 2022. The first project from the new venture is set to release in October, with the first single dropping in September.

Meanwhile, YoungBoy remains locked up as he fights federal weapons charges stemming from an arrested during one of his videos shoots in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
