Lil Baby wants his name removed from Blueface and Chrisean Rock’s ongoing relationship drama. The Quality Control Music artist downplayed his connection to Chrisean Rock on Monday (October 2).
“I ain’t with the trolling s###!” Lil Baby wrote via X (formerly known as Twitter). “I be laughing at certain s### but Aite now stop playing I ain’t never tried to talk to no mf chrisean!! Please stop attaching my name to that!”
He added, “I seen her at a party an told her some real s### she know I never tried to talk to her! I know I bring attention but chrisean even trolling about a child an stuff is too far!!”
Blueface often accused Lil Baby of hitting on Chrisean Rock or having an affair with her. The claims frequently popped up when Blueface and Chrisean Rock argued on social media over the past year.
Chrisean Rock occasionally antagonized Blueface by mentioning Lil Baby’s name. The latest example occurred when Blueface called Chrisean Rock’s sister Tesehki “a real one” on social media.
Chrisean Rock claimed she was done trolling in reaction to Lil Baby’s comments on Monday.
“See he finally said it,” she wrote. “FACTS TOLD YALLL I BEEN ATTACHED TO HIS NAME BECAUSE MY BABY DADDY INSECURE ASF TOLD YALL .. someone tell blue he can stop trolling me.”
She told Lil Baby, “N#### f### me taking it far THE WHOLE WORLD KNOW U AINT THE FATHER. But blueface start saying u was the father just to hurt me. I’m just happy you finally speaking up cuz he won’t let me live after tht day I met you at the party.”
Last month, Chrisean Rock gave birth to a baby boy. Blueface is the father of the child.
Jack Harlow is either really feeling himself right now or trolling all of us, including his “Industry Baby” collaborator, Lil Nas X. Throughout the past few weeks, multiple alleged leaks from Kanye West’s extensive vault have surfaced on the web in the form of unreleased music and visuals. Among the leaked material includes what is believed to be Kanye West’s Donda: With Child visual album and his Jesus Is King II collab project with Dr. Dre. Additionally, alternate versions of cuts from the Donda 2 album, including the Harlow-leaning track “Louie Bags,” also turned up online and began trending.
While Harlow floated a host of incredulous claims within his flows on the record, including hinting at his activity as a ghostwriter for major artists, his bars about his “Old Town Road” rap counterpart drew the most attention. “Don’t let y’all girls meet me ’cause they want me if I met ’em/ I bet Lil Nas X will f### me if I let him,” Harlow rapped on the leak.
Considering he was literally just named SESAC Songwriter of the Year for the third year in a row, it wouldn’t be very on-brand for him to cap about seducing Lil Nas X in the very next bar. And it’s not like Harlow hasn’t shown us all his zesty side before.
Off the top of my head, I can name at least two times when Harlow harmlessly, yet persistently, cosplayed as a creepy and semi-handsy flirt, emphasizing his faux gender-fluid tendencies—major pause. Take for instance the time he literally eyef###ed Druski on the sidelines of a game during The Crew League. Or the time Lil Nas X had to warn Harlow not to say anything “SUS” while they were on the red carpet together.
In the end, it seems pretty clear that Harlow is just having fun out here doing his thing and equally engaged in keeping folks interested in what he’s doing through both his music and other endeavors. For perspective, it’s wild that we are all talking about some bars Harlow spit, clearly with the sole intention of shock value even though footage from an alleged documentary from 2018 has also been leaked featuring Kanye accusing Cardi B of being apart of the Illuminati. It’s clearly Harlow’s world and we are just living in it.
Lil Yachty appears to be using cutting-edge marketing techniques to deliver collaborations such as his and J. Cole’s Hip-Hop epic, “The Secret Recipe.”
Yes, of course, Yachty just collaborated with the Dreamville mastermind on what might be one of the most polarizing rap releases this year—but it appears there’s more to the record than just the bars and the MCs themselves.
If haven’t noticed by now, Lil Yachty has been on a tear since the release of his fan-favorite album, Let’s Start Here, earlier this year. His dedication to showcasing the versatility of his artistry via the consistency of his releases has allowed Yachty to shine on his recent efforts such as “TESLA” and the aforementioned rap epic “The Secret Recipe.”
However, Lil Yachty’s resolve is apparently more than just his commitment to his craft and more-so of a not-so-dry-run of a cutting-edge marketing technique that’s sure to be scavenged by numerous major labels. Apparently, Lil Yachty’s practice of releasing loose singles as EPs repackaged with other loose singles has been dubbed the “waterfall” method. The ideology behind the rollout is seemingly embedded in the promotion of streaming discovery and “increased plays” for previously released records.
Somebody has to double-check to confirm if Soulja Boy has or hasn’t already done something similar to this. Check out the details of the theory below.
Yachty's current approach is called the "waterfall" method, wherein each new song is coupled with 1-4 previously released songs to form a collection of tracks. This strategy is GREAT for discovery purposes, can lead to increased plays, and reinvigorates previous records. https://t.co/0r972NPGfB
A judge sentenced Blueface to probation for his role in a 2022 shooting in Las Vegas. The controversial rapper received a suspended sentence of 24 to 60 months on Monday (October 2).
Prosecutors previously charged Blueface with attempted murder for shooting a man outside a Las Vegas strip club. He secured probation in a plea deal, which reduced the charges to battery and discharging a firearm at or into an occupied structure.
Blueface’s probation will not exceed 30 months. No fine was imposed at his sentencing.
The judge barred Blueface from going to the Las Vegas Strip Corridor unless he needed to be there for work. The West Coast artist, whose real name is Johnathan Porter, cannot possess a firearm under the terms of his probation. He was also ordered to not use alcohol or drugs, including marijuana.
Kentabius Traylor, the shooting victim, criticized Blueface’s sentence at Monday’s hearing. Traylor believed the shooter’s fame resulted in a lenient punishment.
“I’m just completely disappointed in this complete process, actually,” Traylor said. “From the D.A. to his representation to him to everything, it’s just all been a complete drop of the ball on my end. I have completely lost faith in the justice system. This crime has done nothing but take a toll on my life since the day it happened. I haven’t been able to get work. Everything has gone down the drain.”
He added, “I know people who get more time for stealing bubblegum, honestly. I know people who do more time for stealing TVs than they do for shooting somebody. I’m just completely disappointed in all of this.”
The judge denied any special treatment for Blueface, who still faces civil cases for the Las Vegas shooting.
Former NFL player O.J. Simpson has reemerged as a guest sports analyst on Cam’ron and Ma$e’s “It Is What It Is” sports show. “The Juice” is super comfortable with his new team, holding his ground with the two Harlem jokesters.
Over the weekend, the legendary Buffalo Bill, who also played for the University of Southern California’s Trojans and won the Heisman Trophy in 1968, did a digital victory lap after his alma mater whupped up on the Colorado Buffaloes, the team Killa Cam has been supporting. He sent a video to the rapper-turned-sports broadcaster privately.
“Uh, Cam’ron buddy, you OK?” he said. “Are you alright, man? I’m a little worried about you right now. Man, don’t take it too hard, OK. Come on, it’ll be alright. It’s gonna be alright, buddy. Take care.”
He did the video rocking a Buffalo Bills hat to taunt the Colorado Buffaloes (as if to say these are the only Buffaloes we respecting).
The Dipset General took to Instagram and shared the clip with his 2.9 million followers, writing, “OJ trolling me on tx?! it ain’t over yet juice!! Lol @itiswhatitis_talk USC vs. Colorado.”
Several celebrities commented. DJ Scratch said, “This is EPIC.” Producer Bryan Michael Cox addressed a comment that surely made Cam say “Pause,” writing “’Don’t take it too hard’ is wild work.”
Typically, Cam makes his way to the University of Colorado games, coming as a guest of Coach Prime. However, he said an emergency came up, and he had to miss the game.
Ma$e didn’t. While he was a guest of Colorado, he found himself on the USC side—claiming in a new episode it was only right for him to be with the “winners.”
A distinct retro vibe runs through the Balearic beats of TiLT’s chilled-out “SummerSlam.” The hip-hop flavor goes right for a 90s West Coast G-Funk flavor. High-definition sounds with a neon gloss accentuate the strength of his verses. He chooses words carefully, as each one is given plenty of room. Layers are brought in, as the beats, groove, and melodies have this all-too-familiar aspect, like that of a half-forgotten dream, AM hits as filtered through a night of heavy drinking. It has this taut balance between the aggressive and affectionate, changing stances as it suits him. This, alongside a slew of guest spots, gives the album a kaleidoscopic spirit.
The old-school style of the sound recalls California’s reign over a chilled-out yet, at the same time, aggressive, fiery rap presence. Dexterity and funky rhythm touch upon some of 2Pac’s best work, with every verse containing multiple meanings. He lays the atmosphere down, with the tracks working together to create this impressive whole. On the harder-hitting ways, he has an unhinged, confrontational tactic that brings into the fray Eazy-E’s unhinged, dead-eyed stare. Finally, with the playful freestyling, a looseness incorporates lessons learned from early Snoop Dogg. With all these reference points, he manages to take the style of the classics while updating the approach when needed.
“Rock It (feat. Que Money, Deanoboyyoucrazy & YNG4L)” has a steady beat with a seemingly timeless fluttering synthesizer melody. Things slow down with the chopped-and-screwed spirit of “P#### Mouth (feat. HunnidBall, Swayshon, Que Money & Deanoboyyoucrazy).” His delivery is silky smooth as “Lay Low (Freestyle)” features a giddy energy, full of confidence. “Is You Is (Freestyle) (feat. Swayshown, Que Money & Deanoboyyoucrazy)” has the wildness of the narrative supported by the unhinged big band sample in the background. Lovely backward warped bell rings add to the disoriented “Splash N Dash.”
Percussive elements skitter about on the geometric “Blame It.” An absolute party-starter, “Shake It (feat. Deanoboyyoucrazy, Swayshon & Jay Laurent)” delivers the goods. The minimalism adds to the tension and anxiety with the elegant “Scandalous (feat. Deanoboyyoucrazy).” “Mary Jane (Freestyle) (feat Swayshon, Que Money & Deanoboyyoucrazy)” has a gleeful energy, all the way down to how they messed with various types of fidelity, letting the interactions feel keenly balanced. Ending things on a celebratory note, “Cutie Pie” has a triumphant finale.
“SummerSlam” shows off the sharp, powerful lyricism of TiLT, where he brings an entire lifetime of experiences with a sunburnt charm.
It seems Eminem broke the heart of a GOP presidential hopeful. Millennial politician Vivek Ramaswamy was allegedly “bummed” when the Detroit rap icon told him he could no longer use his Oscar-winning song, “Lose Yourself,” during his presidential campaign.
As previously reported, the young politician tapped into his inner child and busted a rhyme to show off at the Iowa State Fair.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Mail, the 38-year-old’s wife, Apoorva, stated neither her husband or his team were the ones who played the song during his “Fair-Side Chats” with Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds.
“For what it’s worth, Vivek and the campaign didn’t turn on the music,” she said. “It was from the folks of Iowa who turned on the music so there was nearly nothing for us to cease and desist from.”
She went on to share how Eminem’s decision impacted her husband.
“He loves that song, so it was a bummer,” she said. “But that’s not at all an important part of this.”
In the interview, the mother of three asked if there was something that she would change from her husband’s campaign if she were running. She joked, “Certainly I would not rap as much as he does.”
Chinese Kitty, the stunning multi-talent, has cultivated a massive online following with millions of fans across social media, where she shines as an Instagram model, rapper, and influential figure. She achieved massive fame through “Love and Hip Hop Miami,” but the BK resident has since bid farewell to reality television to dedicate herself to her music career. She recently dropped two sensational singles, “Boy Oh Boy” and “This Boy Ain’t Mine” that has gotten people familar – again. In an engaging conversation, Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur and Chinese Kitty delve into her music journey, her personal life, why she deserves to be in Hip-Hop and much more.
AllHipHop: We are here with none other than one of the rising stars in Hip-Hop, Chinese Kitty. What up?
Chinese Kitty: Meow, What’s up? I like that. I like the rising star. That was cool. I never heard nobody say that. That was cool.
AllHipHop: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, you are a star. You’re established, But in Hip-Hop,-
Chinese Kitty: No, I like the rising. It feels like the grind. I really like that.
AllHipHop: Yeah. Yeah. All right, so let’s get into the music. You’ve been on a little bit of a run right now, like a run, a little singles run.So your newest song is a remake of a old classic by Cam’ron. Talk about it.
Chinese Kitty: “Boy Oh Boy.” I kind of was going through this little phase where it’s like I went through a time where I didn’t sample no music, literally none. And then I was like, you know what? I feel like a lot of artists… And people don’t realize this, even before my age, Biggie and Jay-Z and all them were sampling music too. So when people say that now it’s like, “Oh my god, all these samples,” it’s like y’all wasn’t saying it then. It’s crazy cause I feel like it just automatically clicks to people and when you hear it just makes you feel good automatically. And that song, growing up my mom used to play all the time, so when someone sent me the beat, I’m like, “I’m recording to that” and nobody can tell me nothing. So I heard the beat and I was like, no, I got to get this some type of wordplay instead of it being, “Oh Boy,” I put “Boy Oh Boy.” And the song I had before was “Boy Ain’t Mine,” so I kind of had the same topic, but two different vibes.
AllHipHop: And I like how y’all did it. I mean, on the official side, I see Cam’ron in writer’s credits and stuff like that, all the paperwork was done official. I was like, well, okay, sometimes we try to get away with things in Hip-Hop.
Chinese Kitty: Yeah, no, they wasn’t letting us get away with that record.
AllHipHop: And Cam is about his money.Damn you should have been around back in the day, because they never had a female in Dipset.
Chinese Kitty: I know. That’d been hard.
AllHipHop: Right. So I see this theme here, between “Boy Ain’t Mine” and “Boy Oh Boy.” You kind of hard on the fellas.
Chinese Kitty: Oh my God, why do I gotta keep saying this. No, it’s not that, because I have other records that’s completely not even about that. But in that moment I was going through something, a little breakup, and I made both of those records in the same literally timeframe. My emotions was going there. Everything I kind of was just wanting to talk about it was already just… Heartbreak and ni##as not being sh#t. But it doesn’t mean that all ni##as is not sh#t, because I got good feeling records too. But I don’t know those two, it made sense for how I felt at the moment.
AllHipHop: Got you. When you get in the studio, what’s your creative process?
Chinese Kitty: I really feel like it depends on my mood. Because sometimes if it’s like I just had an amazing week and it’s like I just been hanging out with my homegirls, we’ve been partying, I want to talk about fun, going to the club and sh#t. But if I’m [sad like] I was in that moment, I was going through a terrible breakup and it’s like how can I even write or talk about anything that is fun or anything when I feel like this? So it just goes off of if my producer play a beat or somebody will send me a beat pack, then I feel like I just want to talk about what I’m feeling at the moment.
AllHipHop: Got you. This is the year or years of the women in hip hop, really powerful voices, sounds, all of the above. And it just seemed to happen almost like all at once. Where do you fit in? If you fit in.
Chinese Kitty: Definitely. I definitely feel like the whole wave of from Cardi to what’s going on now, it just gave a lot of girls room to… It doesn’t have to be just one female. And I feel like everybody has their own lane. Everybody has their own fan base. With guys, you could have a Playboy Carti and then you could have a…Finesse2tymes. Those are completely two different people, but everybody has their own fan base. And I feel like for women, it just had to be one thing for a very long time. I feel like now you have every different type of girl for everything because it’s multiple people in the world. So I feel like I fit in with my own crowd.
AllHipHop: One criticism, I’ll say criticism, one criticism they’ve had is that, yeah, it’s one type of female prototype.
Chinese Kitty: I have a lot to say with that because I feel like guys also talk about all of the same things. You talk about killing people, p#### and drugs. But I feel like with females, it’s like when we talk about, well, I’m not sleeping with a guy unless he do this and a third then oh God, everybody talking about the same thing. But that’s what I’m talking about, when it comes to us, it’s like we always are put on this pedestal that we have to do this and a third and be better than everybody. But that is also why too, that narrative is the reason why I made these records because I did not want people to keep thinking that this is all I had in me. So that’s why I felt like, okay, nobody in the industry is really talking about breakups and this and a third, let me do it.
AllHipHop: Well, when you’re downtime, what is that like for you?
Chinese Kitty: Well, I’m a mother, so a lot of my downtime is just with my son – period. Because the days that I’m working, I feel like I don’t have enough time to be with my child and I have to just be mommy first. And if I’m not doing that, which I’m always doing, then I like to just hang out with my friends and be with my man if I had one, but yeah.
AllHipHop: So you’re single, we’re not going to get all into your personal…
Chinese Kitty: Yeah, I’m dating, I’m dating.
AllHipHop: What kind of guy do you like? Because most guys I would imagine are intimidated. Is that true?
Chinese Kitty: Yes. Even when I get in a relationship with a guy, they still feel intimidated. But I like a boss, I just like a guy that knows what he wants in life and he’s just not insecure and he has crazy confidence.nYou could be in any field, any job, as long as you’re confident in yourself as a man, that’s attractive to me because I feel like that pours out of you.
AllHipHop: Yeah, yeah. Now what about a regular guy, what if he works with sanitation or something, would you date somebody like that?
Chinese Kitty: Oh God. You see how you’re always trying to get me to say something?
AllHipHop: No, you said a boss, but what if he owns it? What if he owns the sanitation…
Chinese Kitty: If he owns it, then…Hi.
AllHipHop: See, I let you off easy with that one. It’s all good.
Chinese Kitty: You know what I’ve just seen, I seen that a guy that Halle Berry was married to is now getting child support from her.
AllHipHop: Oh, he’s getting dumb money too.
Chinese Kitty: So she probably looked at it like, oh well, I’m just going to date a normal guy because he’s not like everybody else. And now look. Now look, I don’t want that.
AllHipHop: Okay, I got you. I feel you. I feel you on that. Definitely. So back to the music,do you have another project coming out?
Chinese Kitty: I do want to drop a project, but I haven’t really put it together yet. Right now I just feel like I’ve been holding back on so many singles that I’ve had even “Boy Aint Mine.” I recorded that last year and dropped it this year. “Boy Oh Boy” I recorded that a couple months ago and it’s like I don’t want to keep holding on to some music. So right now I just feel like I’m just dropping singles and I feel like the tape will come very soon real, real soon.
Travis Scott scored a huge commercial hit with his latest studio LP, Utopia. The chart-topping album featured production by Chauncey “Hit-Boy” Hollis Jr.
Hit-Boy linked with Travis Scott for the “Delresto (Echoes)” track featuring global megastar Beyoncé. He is now auctioning five percent of his stake in the publishing of the song on eBay.
In addition to the publishing shares, the winner will receive the AKAI MPK61 electronic keyboard Hit-Boy used to create “Delresto (Echoes).” As of press time, the listing has a high bid of$20,408.
There have been 135 total bids for Hit-Boy’s publishing/keyboard package, so far. The eBay auction will run through Saturday, October 7. Ten percent of the sale will benefit the nonprofit MusiCares Foundation.
In addition to working with Travis Scott and Beyoncé, the last three years have seen Hit-Boy produce extensively for Hip-Hop legend Nas. The duo dropped the three-part King’s Disease album series and the three-part Magic album series.
Hit-Boy and Nas won the Best Rap Album Grammy Award for 2020’s King’s Disease. The California-bred beatmaker also took home Grammys for Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “N##### in Paris” (Best Rap Song) as well as Nipsey Hussle’s “Racks in the Middle” with Roddy Ricch (Best Rap Performance).
Baltimore’s Shordie Shordie made a lot of headlines in recent days. Footage of the “Bitchuary (Betchua)” rapper getting violent at his concert spread across social media.
In the viral video, Shordie can be seen hitting an unidentified man in the crowd after the person appeared to be throwing up gang signs. The audience member was also holding a red bandana at the time.
The incident caused the concert to stop as security officers removed the man from the area. Apparently, Shordie continued the show. The 27-year-old artist has now addressed the clip that has been circulating online.
“That was not no fan, that was not no female. That was a disrespectful ass n#### who needed his face slapped. And we did that,” said Shordie Shordie in a video posted on social media. “That’s how it go. You out the lips, n####, slap the lips.”
He also added, “I don’t give a f### about how nobody feels or got to say about that situation. Because either way, a m########### gonna have something to say regardless. Out the lips, slap the lips. One of those types.”
Shordie let loose A Life For Two in April via Warner Records. That 13-track project hosts the singles “Reservations and “Better With Each Other.” His discography also contains 2020’s >Music, 2021’s Memory Lane and 2022’s More Than Music, Pt. 2.
TMZSports caught up with Shaquille O’Neal to get his thoughts on who he believes is the best rhyming athlete of all time. Not surprisingly, the 4-time NBA champion named himself at the top of that Hip-Hop totem pole.
“It’s all competition for me. So when I hear other people that say, ‘Oh, I’m a better athlete-rapper than Shaq,’ I gotta step up,” said the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer. “Nothing personal. I just gotta let these people know who paved the way.”
Shaquille O’Neal later declared, “I put stuff out, they put stuff out. And we’ll let the people decide who the number one is. I know who the number one is. I’m gonna always say myself is number one, but they got a lot of guys out there that are coming.”
The former Los Angeles Laker went on to shout out Damian Lillard, Iman Shumpert, and Antonio Brown. Three years ago, Shaq and Lillard had a lyrical back-and-forth that made headlines in the sports and Hip-Hop worlds. Both NBA All-Stars released diss tracks directed at the other.
Shaquille O’Neal earned Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America for 1993’s Shaq Diesel album. He also picked up a Gold plaque for 1994’s Shaq Fu: Da Return. Shaq also appears on the Gold-certified “What’s Up Doc? (Can We Rock)” song by Fu-Schnickens.

Can’t wait for the world to experience it.”
There appear to be some issues between two twenty-something recording artists. 22-year-old Lil Tjay took to his Instagram Story to put 25-year-old YK Osiris on blast.
Over the weekend, Lil Tjay shared an alleged laughing emoji-filled text exchange with YK Osiris. The conversation documented in the leaked screenshot included Osiris saying Tjay is “scared” of him and the Bronx native “[needs] another hit.”
Osiris also apparently told Tjay, “[You’re] trash [as f###] lol… 😂You need [a hit], man. The money [gonna] run out lol. 😂😂Stop spending it on hoes, man. Not good.”
Lil Tjay supposedly texted the Jacksonville-raised singer/rapper, “Don’t mind me, bro. Please stop texting me.” The “Calling My Phone” hitmaker also captioned the Instagram Story post, “I keep blocking this ninja. Lol. Someone tell Osiris [to] leave me alone. 😭WTF.”
YK Osiris and Lil Tjay do have a history. Back in 2020, both men took part in a backyard boxing match. The friendly competition was posted on the internet. The amateur bout between rising rhymers went viral at the time.
Fast forward to 2023, Tjay is coming off the release of his third studio LP, 222. That album followed 2019’s True 2 Myself and 2021’s Destined 2 Win. Additionally, he collaborated with Rich The Kid, Ice Spice and others over the last year.
YK Osiris has not put out a full-length project since The Golden Child in 2019. In July, he dropped a single titled “Dear Fans” following a headline-grabbing incident involving Love & Hip Hop: Miami‘s Sukihana. Footage of Osiris forcibly kissing Suki led to backlash. He later apologized.
Swae Lee has teamed up with British rapper Stefflon Don in their first collaboration, “Run Through.”
The track is the dreamchild of Amsterdam-based British creative entrepreneur Jack “The Plug” Edjourian and is set to feature on his upcoming album Plug Talk 2. The project arrives later this month and includes guest appearances from the likes of Fivio Foreign, Berner, Tink and G Herbo, alongside U.K. artists Nines, Tion Wayne and Aitch.
Swae Lee and Stefflon Don joined forces for the “Run Through” visuals, which sees the duo rapping in an abandoned shopping mall surrounded by a crew of gas-masked ballet dancers and BMX riders performing stunts. Check out the “Run Through” video below.
The Plug x Stefflon Don feat Swae Lee – Run Through
Edjourian explained his inspiration behind bringing Swae Lee and Stefflon Don together in a press statement.
“The collaboration was not just about bringing two artists together, but crafting a sound that resonates with listeners, he shared. “This track is undoubtedly one of my top picks from the album. Collaborating with these incredible talents has been a rewarding experience. He also shared his anticipation for the upcoming album. “I’m genuinely thrilled for listeners to dive into ‘Plug Talks 2’,” Edjourian added.
The project follows Edjourian’s U.K. Top 40 album Plug Talk, which included multiple transatlantic collaborations, including “How It Is” featuring Roddy Ricch, Chip and Yxng Bane; “Broken Homes” with Gunna, M Huncho and Nafe Smallz; and “Rich” featuring D-Block Europe and Offset.
Mary J. Blige has again rejected calls to do a Verzuz battle, expressing her disinterest in competing in the series or pitting herself against other artists.
The Queen Of Hip-Hop Soul shut down requests to appear in the popular series that produced some legendary clashes, despite her love for the Verzuz co-founder Swizz Beatz, who created the show with fellow production icon Timbaland during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Let me just say this. I love Swizz,” she explained in a video circulating on social media. “That’s my friend, that’s my brother. That’s my people. I just don’t care about no Verzuz. I don’t wanna be up there. And it’s no disrespect. I just don’t care. Like, I don’t need to say I had the hottest– I know I had some of the hottest records. I know I got a crazy catalog.”
Mary J. Blige also refused to single out a competitor, acknowledging her many talented peers.
“I mean there’s so many people that have great music out there,” she continued. “There’s so many women that have just catalogs, you know. So, I don’t like the putting everybody up against each other. I don’t like it.”
However, Blige insisted if she ever competed in a Verzuz, she could win by playing just one project.
“I could just put my s### on and just walk away,” she added. “I could put the ‘What’s The 411’ album on and just walk away.”
This isn’t the first time Mary J. Blige has had to shut down Verzuz demands. In 2020 she confirmed she watched the battle between Brandy and Monica but is “cool” on taking part herself.
“Mary would kill somebody in Verzuz,” Method Man said during a joint interview with the singer. “She’d kill somebody in Verzuz. She got way too many hits. Can’t nobody keep up.”
Hours after wrapping the final show on her Renaissance Tour Sunday night (October 1), Beyonce shared a trailer announcing her upcoming movie.
The movie, set to hit theaters December 1, documents the superstar songstress’s journey on the Renaissance Tour and her vision for the iconic shows.

Kanye West trashed Nas’ rapping skills in a rant that saw the G.O.O.D. Music founder going in on Pusha T and Teyana Taylor in a leaked video that surfaced online recently.
In the recording, said to be from around 2018, seemingly leaked from an unreleased documentary, Kanye West is on the phone to “Scooter,” presumably his former manager Scooter Braun. Ye says he wants off of G.O.O.D. Music before claiming the artists he worked with on his “Wyoming Sessions” albums are using him.
“It ain’t going be in this situation,” West begins. “It’s going to be a get me out this muthafuckin G.O.O.D Music s### now. And Scooter, it ain’t going to be no ‘I’m still putting my name on that s###’. I need to get rid of G.O.O.D Music ‘cause I’m great and guess what? Good is the enemy of great.”
Ye then goes on to rant about his Wyoming albums, questioning why he “gave away” the projects.
“What the f### I’m doing giving “Wanna Love You” to f###### Teyana,” he said, seemingly referring to Taylor’s K.T.S.E. album cut “Gonna Love Me,” before asking the same question of former G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha T’s Daytona.
Kanye West continued, complaining that he “gave away” the equivalent of three of his classic My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album, before going in on Nas’ Wyoming project.
“’Cop Shot The Kid,’ Nas rapping all g###### off-beat on it,” West added. “Don’t even wanna shoot a video then shoot the video and don’t even tell me.”
Ye continued, “These muthafuckas don’t appreciate me. All these muthafuckas tryna use me. I’m the greatest muthafucking artist living and I can do everything!”

In another old clip that surfaced online recently, Kanye West branded Cardi B an Illuminati plant who doesn’t write her own raps.
Kanye West called Cardi B an Illuminati plant who doesn’t write her raps in a leaked video that surfaced online recently.
The footage, said to be from around 2018, was seemingly leaked from a documentary featuring Ye on the phone talking about the “Bongos” rapper.
“Cardi B is a plant by the Illuminati,” Kanye West said in the video recording.
“She don’t write her raps,” he said before adding, “She’s just there to sound as ignorant as possible. She’s literally replaced Nicki Minaj purposely. That they put her there, and now she doesn’t know what to do. She has no idea what the f### is going on. She thinks it’s a blessing from the universe, it ain’t no f###### blessing.” Check out the clip below.
However, when Cardi B caught wind of the clip, she shared her own video of Kanye West singing a different tune. She took to X (formerly Twitter) with a clip of Ye talking positively about her during a 2022 interview with Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee.
“I always believed in her since she was on the show. Period,” the G.O.O.D. Music founder said, referencing Cardi’s stint on Love & Hip-Hop: New York.
She captioned her post simply with a red heart emoji.
The Grammy Award winner teamed up with Ye and Lil Durk in the 2022 song “Hot Sh*t.”
“I’m so happy that he gave me this verse. And I had a lot of conversations with Kanye West,” Cardi B explained to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in June 2022. “I learned so much about him, and he’s such an amazing, sweet person. I’ve been feeling like I wish a lot of people [could] have conversations with him so they could just see the real him.”

Megan Thee Stallion has launched a mental health resources site called Seize The Awkward.
Following several teasers earlier this week, the 28-year-old rapper has announced that she has launched a new mental health resources website named Seize The Awkward.
Megan took to Instagram on Monday to hint at her latest project. She posted a clip of herself saying, “I’ve always been told, I gotta be strong…”
The post was captioned, “I’m dropping something that can help all of us. Stay tuned, Hotties.” Megan then returned to Instagram to reveal the website and shared a video about opening up.
“I’ve always been told I gotta be strong. Thick skinned. Stiff upper lip. Tough as nails,” she began in the video. “But to be everything for everybody – it wears on you. ‘Black don’t crack’, they say. But it can. I can. We all can.”
The rapper continued, “Y’all, it’s okay to not be okay. Reach out to a friend if you see them going through it. No matter who you are, being vulnerable is what makes us whole.”
The website features videos of Megan discussing a variety of topics, such as being vulnerable.
Additionally, videos on the topic of mental health featuring several stars including Noah Cyrus, Ava Max, Liza Koshy and Tyler Posey can also be found on the website.
Megan already has another mental health website, called Bad B**ches Have Bad Days Too, which features lists of resources, links and phone numbers.
