A MedSpa owner denied any wrongdoing after 50 Cent sued her for allegedly implying he had penile enhancement surgery.
Angela Kogan’s lawyer Darren Heitner sent a lengthy statement to TMZ defending his client. According to Heitner, Kogan never claimed 50 Cent had penile enhancement.
“Ms. Kogan’s policy is to not disclose the services that her clients receive, but she affirms that Perfection Plastic Surgery & MedSpa never provided penile enhancement treatment to Mr. Jackson,” the attorney wrote. “She has never stated otherwise, either publicly or privately. Instead, Ms. Kogan merely thanked Mr. Jackson for stopping by Perfection Plastic Surgery & MedSpa with social media posts published in February 2020.”
Heitner said 50 Cent received an undisclosed treatment at Kogan’s Perfection Plastic Surgery & MedSpa. Instead of paying for the services, the G-Unit rapper allegedly agreed to take a photo with Kogan and allowed her to post it on her social media platforms.
No issues occurred until The Shade Room published a story about Kogan and penile enhancement in August. The article used a graphic featuring the picture of Kogan and 50 Cent.
50 Cent believed Kogan misrepresented the photo, implying he underwent penile enhancement surgery. He filed a lawsuit against her and Perfection Plastic Surgery & MedSpa.
Kogan accused 50 Cent of smearing her and her business “without cause.” She believed his grievance should be directed at The Shade Room.
“To be clear, our clients used the photograph with Mr. Jackson’s consent,” Kogan’s lawyer wrote. “Additionally, our clients never provided the photograph to The Shade Room, and The Shade Room embedded the photograph on the article without our clients’ knowledge or consent. Furthermore, our clients never falsely implied that Mr. Jackson was their client. He received services from, and thus was a client of, Perfection Plastic Surgery & MedSpa.”
Heitner concluded, “Finally, Ms. Kogan never insinuated that she or her business provided a penile enhancement treatment to Mr. Jackson. Our clients did not take a single action to cause any damage to Mr. Jackson’s professional or personal reputation and will vigorously defend against the frivolous claims that have been publicly filed against them and their thriving business.”
A Jane Doe dismissed her child sexual abuse lawsuit against Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears.
According to TMZ, Jane Doe asked a judge to dismiss the lawsuit with prejudice. She will be unable to refile the case after accusing Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears of grooming and molesting minors.
Jane Doe issued a statement about dismissing the lawsuit. She made no mention of Aries Spears but noted Tiffany Haddish “would never harm” the alleged victims.
“My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years – and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us,” Jane Doe said. “We wish Tiffany the best and are glad that we can all put this behind us.”
The 22-year-old woman sued the comedians over sexually suggestive videos involving a then 14-year-old Jane Doe and her brother.
Jane Doe claimed Tiffany Haddish groomed her, resulting in the teenager mimicking oral sex for a video. The lawsuit also accused Aries Spears of molesting Jane Doe’s then 7-year-old brother while filming a skit titled “Through a Pedophile’s Eyes.”
An attorney for Aries Spears called the lawsuit a “shakedown.” Tiffany Haddish’s lawyer initially expressed similar sentiments, but the comic later expressed regret for her role in the videos in a statement on Instagram.
“I know people have a bunch of questions,” she said. “I get it. I’m right there with you. Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little that I can say right now. But, clearly, while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn’t funny at all — and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it. I really look forward to being able to share a lot more about this situation as soon as I can.”

The family of rapper PnB Rock will finally be receiving his body, after publicly complaining about having struggles getting it back to Philadelphia. Officials were reluctant to send the body before certain parts of the investigation of his death were completed.
Since then, the rapper’s mother has traveled to California, going straight to the examiner’s office to identify the body and work to have it released.
The LAPD was called to the L.A. County Coroner’s because the family did not want to have an autopsy performed. The examiner’s office told them they had to do the procedure on his body, despite the sensitive timing restraints.
His brother PnB Meen wrote online, “We been having trouble getting My brothers back to Philadelphia. The state of Los Angeles claiming they have some type of law going against ours as Muslims. Now I have no clue when his Janazah.”
The statement continued, “It’s not right, yo. It’s going on a week. Prayers Up. Got you big bro and ya daughters.”

The United States Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Texas has sentenced Houston rapper, Da Breadman to federal prison after he was convicted of conspiracy to distribute and distribute drugs.
The rapper, whose real name is Jermaine West and a member of the Hood Kat Music Group rap studio, pleaded guilty to 10 counts of drug trafficking in the Houston area on April 6th and was sentenced by U.S. District Judge George Hanks ordered West to serve 23 years and 3 months in federal prison.
After his 280 months, the “Whip It” artist would immediately enter into six years of supervised release.
The statement said, “At the hearing, the court heard the additional argument that West had engaged in gang activity beyond his drug trafficking.
In handing down the sentence, Judge Hanks noted that West ‘destroyed people’s lives.’ The court further noted that ‘for 20 years [West] played a dangerous game,’ and that he had “played the game and lost.”
Da Breadman’s involvement in gang culture was the trigger to have people investigate him. The FBI and Drug Enforcement Administration started conducting the investigation into The Breadman’s case with the assistance of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Houston Police Department in 2019.
The Breadman took his deal as a result of the “Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) investigation dubbed Operation Bullet Trap.”
“OCDETF identifies, disrupts, and dismantles the highest-level drug traffickers, money launderers, gangs, and transnational criminal organizations that threaten the United States. It uses a prosecutor-led, intelligence-driven, multi-agency approach that leverages the strengths of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies against criminal networks,” according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Southern District of Texas.
Da Breadman is now locked up in a U.S. Bureau of Prisons facility and will be there until further notice.
On Monday, Michael Lawrence Tyler (aka Mystikal) pled not guilty to rape and drug possession charges in Louisiana.
According to reports, authorities charged the Grammy-nominated rapper with simple criminal damage to property, false imprisonment, domestic abuse, battery, and strangulation, simple robbery, and first-degree rape.
Prosecutors claim Mystikal had heroin, marijuana, methamphetamine, and Xanax as well as drug paraphernalia in his Prairieville, Louisiana home. The 51-year-old New Orleans native’s lawyer pushed back on those accusations.
“My client doesn’t even do drugs, so he has absolutely no idea what they were talking about,” Mystikal’s attorney, Joel Pearce, told the Associated Press.
This is not the first time Mystikal has been accused of sexual assault. The “Shake Ya Ass” performer was charged with first-degree rape and second-degree kidnapping in a separate 2017 case in Caddo Parish. Those charges were eventually dismissed in December 2020 due to a lack of evidence.
In addition, Mystikal pled guilty to sexual battery and extortion charges in 2003. After serving a six-year prison sentence, the former No Limit Records flagbearer is required to register as a sex offender.
“People keep saying it’s his third time to be charged [with rape],” said attorney Joel Pearce. “In Caddo Parish, after a grand jury indicted him, they un-indicted him.”
Prior to his legal issues, Mystikal released the Platinum-certified albums Unpredictable in 1997 and Ghetto Fabulous in 1998. The RIAA awarded a 2x-Platinum plaque for 2000’s Let’s Get Ready studio LP. He also contributed to Master P’s classic posse cut “Make ‘Em Say Uhh!”
“I would like to start off by saying I truly apologize [to] Vancouver, Canada, The Breakout Festival, and to everyone who was in attendance!” wrote Lil Baby on his Instagram Story.
The Atlanta native continued, “I have been going so hard these past few months without any breaks that it finally caught up with me. And my body completely shut down. I owe you guys big time and will for sure make up for it soon.”
However, a new article claims Lil Baby partied with other celebrities just hours before his scheduled headlining gig at the Breakout Festival. Baby apparently showed up at Zouk Nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday night/Sunday morning.
The event supposedly served as a celebration of professional boxer Canelo Álvarez’s victory over Gennady Golovkin on September 17. According to TMZ, Travis Scott and DJ Drama also joined Lil Baby at the Vegas function.
It is not clear if Lil Baby attended Zouk that night as a paid attendee or just as a guest. Baby has been known to take club bookings outside of his larger gigs like music festivals and the recently wrapped “One Of Them Ones” tour with Chris Brown.
Lil Baby canceling his Breakout Festival appearance became headline news because of the violent fallout. Multiple outlets reported riots breaking out at the PNE Amphitheatre after the rap star announced the cancelation.
Members of the Florida-bred City Girls are in two of the most high-profile relationships in Hip Hop culture at the moment.
Both Caresha “Yung Miami” Brownlee and Jatavia” JT” Johnson spoke about their respective partners during an interview with PopSugar. Yung Miami has been romantically linked to Revolt founder Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“People don’t know us. They don’t know what the f### we got goin’ on,” stated Yung Mami about her connection with Diddy. “I’m in there like, ‘Shut the f### up. Y’all don’t know what we have going on. Me and him gon’ be married — boom!’ No, I’m just saying.”
Yung Miami currently has a working relationship with Diddy as well. The City Girls rapper’s Caresha Please podcast airs on the Revolt network. As for JT, the Quality Control Music representative dates Philadelphia-raised rap star, Lil Uzi Vert.
“It made me a much better person,” said JT about her relationship with Uzi. “I feel like I found my home with him, my safe space. Once you find your safe space, you know.”
“P#### rap — [it’s] what we stand for,” answered JT when asked about what fans could expect on a future City Girls project. “It’s confident music, getting-ready music, girl-power music, pop-your-s###, talk-your-s### music, fun music, alter-ego music. It’s for everybody. City Girl s###, for real.”
City Girls connected with R&B legend Usher for the “Good Love” collaboration. That single peaked at #70 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in July. JT and Yung Miami also showed up this year on “Bills Paid” off DJ Khaled’s God Did.
Bobby Shmurda had a lot of people talking over the last several days. A video of the Brooklyn-bred rapper in bed made the rounds online because some people believed two men joined Shmurda under the covers.
The specualtion caught fire after a social media user named Xavier Raza claimed he was one of the people laying next to the “Hot N####” hitmaker. Raza posted the clip with a caption that read, “I’m mad shy 🙈but Bobby loves me.”
In a turn of events, Xavier Raza retracted his previous statement about Bobby Shmurda. According to reports, Raza issued an apology to Shmurda with a lengthy post on Instagram.
“I owe everybody an explanation but most importantly I owe an apology to Bobby Shmurda and his fans,” reads the IG message. “I’m sorry for everything that’s going on and [the] confusion I have caused anyone this past weekend.”
The @afflictionx account also added, “That was NOT me in the video. What was meant to be a harmless joke, shook the internet. I never thought my post would go viral and it was never my intention to mislead anyone.”
https://www.instagram.com/p/Cis4oi5Pqhp/
Over the weekend, Bobby Shmurda reacted to the rumors involving his name. In now-deleted Instagram posts, the 28-year-old entertainer offered the theory that the major record labels and the media purposely pushed the story he was a bisexual man as some sort of retaliation.
“Tour is coming up and the labels always showed me how they control and work any narrative they want and control media to an extent,” wrote Shmurda. “How much do the bots cost y’all? I [just] made $200K last week. I’m trying to buy some s### [because] ya’ll odeee yang sucking. I can’t boom the internet, so have fun.”
He also added, “😂I’m really that scary. 😧😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣Ay, they [are] trying to f### up my tour😱, [because] I’m not with them anymore and I’m taking [their] artist on tour. 🥹Like they [tried to] sabotage my EP, lower my sound, all kinda crazy nerd s###. They don’t want it played nowhere. They pay for [their] artist to get played at.”
As of press time, Bobby Shmurda has not responded to Xavier Raza’s public apology. Nor has he addressed the rumors of the individuals in the bed-scene video being other men. Meanwhile, the Bodboy EP creator prepares to head out on The Bodmon Tour with Rowdy Rebel.
Once again, Tory Lanez is back in the news for an alleged physical confrontation. This time, fellow R&B artist August Alsina claims Lanez and his entourage attacked him during the Chicago stop of the Fall Back In Love Comedy & Music Jam tour.
August Alsina took to social media to lay out his version of what supposedly happened between himself and Tory Lanez. According to the 30-year-old performer, Lanez was the aggressor in the situation.
“As I’m exiting the building after the show last night, a 4’11 sized leprechaun ran down on me [with] 8 oversized security n#####, whom I greeted each individually upon their walk up as they tried to press me,” wrote August Alsina on Instagram.
Alsina also added, “Never any disrespectful words were exchanged, so I was a bit confused at how somehow he turnt himself up [with] anger after hitting a blunt laced with cocaine obviously, (I heard the fizzle) and he snuck me when I turned my head to move to the side amongst all his antsy moving and to keep an eye on the endless n##### that was [with] him surrounding me.”

Tory Lanez Suggests The Violent Incident Never Happened
However, footage has emerged of Tory Lanez and August Alsina both at the venue for the Fall Back In Love Comedy & Music Jam tour. In the clip, Alsina can be seen refusing to shake Lanez’s hand. In addition, the video appears to show Lanez following Alsina after the handshake snub.
Alsina explained on Instagram, “With my history of health and condition just recently overcoming being paralyzed, my doctor directed me not to compromise my health while out on road and shake as less hands as possible due to [COVID-19] and monkeypox.”
The Rapper/Singer May Have Hurt His Assault Case In California
Tory Lanez could be in more legal trouble. Prosecutors plan to investigate the matter involving the two recording artists. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office told Pitchfork, “The allegations are serious and will be thoroughly examined.”
In addition, comedian Rip Michaels booted Tory Lanez from the Fall Back In Love Comedy & Music Jam tour. TMZ reports the Wild ‘n Out star actually witnessed Lanez punch August Alsina on Saturday night. Michaels also said that August attempted to settle the friction by having a conversation, but Lanez allegedly struck Alsina in the face instead.

We need a break from all the killing and violence. Lil TJay decided to come back out rapping and singing an I guess he wants to discuss who may have had him shot. So he decides to do a 50 Cent and re-do “Many Men.” But 50 came out almost 20 years ago! Also, 50 & G-Unit moved like SWAT back in those days. Untouchable! You gotta be easy on what you put out in the world. The last rapper – Pop Smoke – that did that song after 50 ended us dead.
Well, somewhere in there he named some names. I ain’t gonna lie, I didn’t pick up on it. Don Q did. And he lashed out.
He going hard, but making sure there is no link between him and the shooting of Lil TJay.
What you think about that?
Can the young buck follow the unit selling his yayo to the bank?
In his ongoing dispute with his former-Fashion partner, Kanye West has taken to social media to expose them for systematically trying to block his Paris Fashion Week show.
This comes after the rapper told CNBC’s “Closing Bell” show that he has terminated his brand partnership with Gap Inc, only after two years of signing their contract in June 2020.
AllHipHop.com reports the deal was to design and sell a line of clothing underneath the Yeezy Gap brand.
According to Newsweek, “Everyone knows that you know, I’m the leader, I’m the king, right, so a king can’t live in someone else’s castle. A king has to make his own castle.”
Allegedly, West’s lawyers sent a letter to the company stating his wish to terminate their ten-year agreement, alleging the apparel company breached their contract by failing to release clothing and opening stores as they originally planned.
West said, “It was always a dream of mine to be at the Gap and to bring the best product possible to the masses.”
“We designed an entire collection and … I wasn’t able to set the actual price that I wanted for this collection,” the “DONDA” chart-topper said.
He states she wanted to sell shirts with Gap for $20, but the company overpriced the shirts, charging $200 and better per garment.
How, the rapper-turned-designer posted on social media that all of a sudden, people don’t want to work with him.
“Magically No production companies have been willing to produce my YZYSZN9 fashion show in Paris on October 3rd,” he wrote, listing the Board of Directors from Gap on his Instagram.
Many are wondering what this will mean for Ye, who is reportedly a 6 times billionaire because of the deal. Will he lose everything stepping away from The Gap?
The Gap has been struggling and the Kanye collab gave them a boost.
Since 2005, Gap Inc.’s Old Navy brand has started to be more successful than Gap in sales.
The two brands have been going up and down, but in 2021, it was clear Old Navy was bringing in way more money. Old Navy brought in $9.1 billion, and the Gap brought in $4.1 billion.
Bringing Yeezy in promised to get them back on track.
Still, they are insisting the separation is mutual. Gap president Mark Breitbart said in an email to his employees, “While we share a vision of bringing high-quality, trend-forward, utilitarian design to all people through unique omni experiences with Yeezy Gap, how we work together to deliver this vision is not aligned. And we are deciding to wind down the partnership.”
As he disputes Kanye’s claim that they reneged on things in their contract, Breitbart says, “Important to know is that throughout this partnership, we have upheld our commitments … The teams have done so with the utmost integrity, navigating obstacles and demonstrating incredible resolve.”
In an interview with Fox News, Kanye shared he is also not tripping about the money.
“I’m an innovator. I’m fighting for a position to be able to change clothing and bring the best design to the people,” he said.
The rapper also intends on leaving his Adidas partnership when it is up in 2026.
T.I.’s son Domani unleashed a new song titled “Broke.”
The track dropped a year after Domani released his Skydivealbum, which featured collaborations with Rapsody and D Smoke. The second-generation rapper contemplated what he’d do without money on his latest single.
“Life is all about perspective, and that’s what I want the listener to take away from this single,” Domani said in a press release. “You never know someone’s situation, so it’s important to never judge but rather forgive.”
Domani released “Broke” ahead of his European tour with Cordae. The 21-year-old rapper will join Cordae’s From a Bird’s Eye View Tour, which begins on September 27 and wraps up on October 19.

DDG reportedly faces multiple misdemeanor charges following his June arrest for gun possession.
According to TMZ, DDG was charged with one count of carrying a loaded weapon, one count of carrying a concealed weapon and one count of reckless driving. The Los Angeles City Attorney brought charges against the 24-year-old rapper after the Los Angeles County District Attorney didn’t.
A few months ago, DDG claimed the case had been dismissed. He said he avoided misdemeanor charges in a video posted on social media.
“My case has been dismissed or rejected,” he declared. “I don’t got a felony, and I don’t got a misdemeanor.”
If convicted, DDG could be sentenced to a year in jail for each weapons charge. The reckless driving charge comes with a maximum sentence of 90 days behind bars.
DDG is dating singer Halle Bailey, who’s been making headlines as the star of the upcoming film The Little Mermaid. Disney’s live-action remake of the 1989 animated movie premieres in 2023.
Ahead of The Little Mermaid, Halle Bailey starred in her boyfriend DDG’s “If I Want You” music video. The video has racked up well over a million views since its release in August.
Tiffany Haddish and two accusers agreed to seal photos in their ongoing legal battle over sexual misconduct involving minors.
According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, Tiffany Haddish reached a deal with the alleged victims to prevent the public from seeing the original complaint. The two sides came to an agreement after the case moved from state court to federal court.
Tiffany Haddish’s accusers were concerned about their identities being exposed if the photos were publicly available. The two victims are identified as Jane Doe and John Doe in the lawsuit.
“The full public availability of the Complaint could permit public identification of Plaintiff John Doe and, by association, Plaintiff Jane Doe,” the court documents noted.
Jane Doe, 22, sued Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears over child sexual abuse. Jane Doe and her brother said they were recruited to appear in the comedians’ sexually suggestive videos as kids.
A then 14-year-old Jane Doe was allegedly told to mimic oral sex for a skit. John Doe, who was 7 at the time, claimed he was molested by Aries Spears during the filming of a sketch called “Through a Pedophile’s Eyes.”
Jane Doe and her brother told a judge they were open to a settlement with Tiffany Haddish. The accusers want her to publicly apologize for her role in the videos as part of a potential deal.
East Atlanta’s voracious rap scene has been notorious for birthing the likes of Hip Hop royalty. With heirs of the throne honing from rap megastars like 21 Savage, 6LACK, & Future. There is no doubt that Atlanta has dominated the rap scene for the last decade and continues to birth new talent every day. While undiscovered artist often has a tough time navigating the rap hierarchy, that does not seem to be the case for emerging ATL Superstar Shon Brown.
Hailing from the East Side of Atlanta, GA, Shon Brown follows in the footsteps of his ATL predecessors as he is quickly climbing the ladder to the top of rap supremacy. Now, beyond the hugely talented artist that is Shon Brown, what first caught my eye was his appearance.
Upon my first encounter with Shon, I was met with a blinding diamond-encrusted smile intense enough to grab everyone’s attention. Contrary to what I expected, Shon boasts a humble and calm demeanor, there is a sense of peace and humility grounded around his aura that calms your spirit. But, beyond the humble appearance, I soon saw that there was more to this meek rap star than meets the eye. Pulling up in a Lamborghini Aventador, one of the most sought-after luxury sports cars in the world, I yearned to learn more about who this guy really was.
We exchanged handshakes and bantered over a small conversation before beginning the interview. Shon’s lustrous Cuban necklace gleamed in the sun, as the diamonds danced opposite of the sun’s glare. I then noticed his wrist which also hosted an array of jewelry, diamonds equally coerced in synchronicity covering the lower part of his arm. I interview plenty of “startup” rappers who are hoping to stumble across that breakthrough TikTok hit that will catapult their career into superstardom, most of which may sport a necklace or 2. But this guy’s looks like he has made it.
I could immediately tell that I did not know Shon Brown at all. But I would soon, I had to know more.
I remember hearing about Shon back in 2019. His name had been buzzing among the emerging Atlanta rap scene after releasing his hit song “Made it Out” featuring ATL legend YFN Lucci. “Wow, this guy has potential” I remember thinking after hearing the song on BET Jams. A few short months after, Shon peeled back vulnerable layers as he took us through the gritty streets of the not so glamours side of ATL with his smash Crime Scene featuring 24 Heavy. Following up, just a year later I hear Shon a second time on his chart-climbing record “Say Da Word” featuring East Atlanta cohort BRS Kash, the artist behind Platinum viral anthem “Throat Baby”.
Well as the saying goes, the third time is a charm. This time, however, there is something vastly different about Shon. His sound has elevated. In Shon’s new hit single, They Don’t Know, produced by super producer Mondo on the Beat, who produced club smash “Hittin” for rapper Money Mu, he masterfully blends melodic harmonies with a socially conscious rap cadence, Shon has created the perfect cocktail of trap symphonies that gracefully pirouette on the listener’s ears. A compelling story follows as he goes into depth about how many may perceive him to be a particular way because of the allure attached to his image, but they don’t really know Shon Brown.
They Don’t Know has been EVERYWHERE since its release. Every radio station has spun the record, ATL’s own FLYGUYDC played the song a record-breaking 5 times consecutively on popular ATL radio station Streetz 94.5, I have heard it in the club while getting hot wings, I heard it on iHeart radio. I cannot turn around without hearing Shon Brown. This is a true testament to the makings of a chart-blazing hit single.
Shon is what I like to call a humble bEAST. After sitting down and interviewing Shon for close to 2 hours, here is a few things that you may not know about him.
They Don’t Know he is a pillar in his community. Last May, Shon pulled up at a few elementary schools where he spoke to the children about chasing their dreams and achieving their goals, telling them anything is possible is one thing, but Shon took it a step further when he brought out Lamborghinis, Teslas, and Maseratis for the kids to take pictures in and envision themselves speeding down 285 in luxury, quickly turning recess into a car show.
They Don’t Know Shon employs an outreach program that feeds and shelters the homeless on the Holidays, ensuring that the less fortunate are covered during challenging times.
And, while he shy’s away from this, I’ll love to say it:
They Don’t Know Shon Brown is a self-made boss and owner of his own independent record label Millions & Billions, and much like that title, A young, rich hip hop mogul on his way to becoming one of ATL’s rap superstars. Very few artists I encounter have the privilege of being “on” before the fame. Shon does music because he loves it and has successfully transitioned through the mean streets of an East Atlanta jungle, victoriously transforming himself into a prolific young CEO. As his new single proclaims, They Don’t Know.
They Don’t Know how the East Atlanta Rapper really Made it Out of a Crime Scene riddled area to Say Da word to give the Street Motivation. But…they do now.
