Yerrrrrrr! Tee Grizzley just got hitched and it’s time to break out the confetti cannons. He tied the knot with the mother of his child, My’Eisha Agnew, and it’s all over social media, baby. I love to see this.
In January, Tee dropped the bombshell news of their engagement and now, they’ve taken that epic walk down the aisle. The evidence? A bunch of jaw-dropping videos and photos that flooded Instagram, capturing all the magic from their big day. And let me tell you, it was one for the books.
In a stunning white dress from the Walter Collection, My’Eisha looked like a queen. Tee Grizzley wasn’t messing around either, rocking a snazzy purple suit that had him shining like a disco ball. But here’s the kicker: in one of those viral videos, you can catch Tee Grizzley busting a move on the dance floor with his brand new wifey, all while sporting a fresh pair of Jordans.
The internet went wild, of course. One person couldn’t help but notice Tee’s choice of footwear, saying, “Nobody’s rocking sharp loafers anymore!” And you know how it goes—someone else had to chime in with, “You can take the guy out of the hood, but you can’t take the hood out of the guy!” LOL!
Tee Grizzley is know for his pen game, but his love poem game isn’t bad either. He wrote, “I may have given away a lot, but my last name ain’t going anywhere. Take it, baby. It’s all yours.” And let me tell you, the Hip-Hop community showed love. Hit-Boy, Tay Keith and even Bryson Tiller himself sent their warmest wishes to the happy couple.
So, let’s raise our glasses and toast to Tee Grizzley and My’Eisha Agnew for taking that leap into marital bliss. May their love story continue to be filled with happiness, success and killer dance moves.
By the way, did they get married two times? They had something on a rooftop last year.
So, it looks like one of the industry’s favorite power couples, rapper G Herbo and Taina Williams, might have called it quits. What a plot twist! The rapper surprised everyone when he took to Instagram and dropped the bombshell with a post that said, “I am single.” But hey, guess what? He later deleted it, leaving fans scratching their heads.
Just a while ago, they were all lovey-dovey and even got together to celebrate their daughter’s birthday. But now it seems like things have taken a different turn. Of course, the internet had its fair share of opinions. One person commented, “Oh, come on! We all saw this coming from a mile away. You win them how you lose them, right? She clearly followed her mom’s advice: snag a rapper with kids. The plan was never to be a successful contributor to society, just to be there and create dependents.” Ouch, that’s a bit harsh, isn’t it?
Let’s rewind a bit. Back in December 2022, G Herbo spilled the beans during an interview with “Caresha Please” host Yung Miami. He gushed about how head-over-heels in love he was with his girlfriend and the mother of two of his children, Taina Williams. He couldn’t stop singing her praises, calling her “perfect.” Ah, young love!
Herbo even confessed that whenever he stepped out on a woman before, it was only to “get away from s##t.” So, it seemed like he found something special with Williams. They were apparently in a “great space” and he even hinted at marriage plans. Yung Miami couldn’t resist asking the big question, “Are you gonna pop the question soon?” And guess what? Herbo’s response was a confident “Yeah.”
But now, it seems like things might have taken a different turn. It’s hard to say for sure what’s going on behind the scenes, but one thing’s for sure: the relationship status of G Herbo and Taina Williams is definitely a bit of a mystery. It was like yesterday when Fab was giving him a chain. Dang.

Memphis Grizzlies player Ja Morant is currently suspended from the team and supposedly taking a break from social media. However, the 2x-NBA All-Star continues to make headlines across the internet.
In March, Morant flashed a firearm on Instagram Live during a visit to a Denver-area strip club. The Memphis Grizzlies suspended him for eight games following significant public backlash.
There’s now a new report about Ja Morant that has generated a lot of conversations online. The Breakfast Club guest host, Claudia Jordan, offered a new theory about Morant’s last incident. Jordan discussed the story on a recent episode of the radio show.
“My sources say that the relative in the car in the backseat had a toy gun in the car,” Jordan said. “The gun is not real. And [he] was playing around with it, passed it over to Ja, and that got caught on the Live.”
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member continued, “The video was sent to Adam Silver and the NBA, allegedly. They have it and they say the gun looks extremely fake like it’s obviously a toy gun. According to my source, allegedly, Adam Silver is still going to go through with the suspension.”
Adam Silver Has Begun Investigating The IG Live Incident
Earlier this month, Silver addressed the league’s inquiry into Ja Morant while at a press conference before Game 1 of the 2023 NBA Finals. The longtime basketball executive told the media the league looks at a player’s prior acts and the seriousness of the conduct when assessing proper punishment.
“We’ve uncovered a fair amount of additional information since I was still asked about the situation,” Silver said about the probe into Morant’s actions. “I would say we probably could have brought it to a head now, but we made the decision, and I believe the Player’s Association agrees with us, that it would be unfair to these players and these teams in the middle of the series to announce the results of that investigation.”
Killer Mike will release his next solo album, Michael, on June 16. Listeners can expect the Atlanta-raised recording artist/activist to address political issues in his upcoming project.
“Wokeness” is one of the main talking points in American politics at the moment. Initially, members of the African-American community used the phrase “stay woke” to describe being aware of systemic racial discrimination.
Killer Mike weighed in on the debate over wokeness in a new cover story for SPIN. As one-half of the Hip-Hop Run The Jewels, he discussed his belief that some Caucasians usurped the word “woke” but don’t actually embrace the call for social justice for Black Americans.
“First of all, white folks 25 years ago couldn’t tell me what the f### woke was,” he said. “They’ve just appropriated your word. Being woke is more than having other people appropriate your struggle for their cause. Who has profited more from affirmative action? White women.”
The Dungeon Family affiliate added, “So what the f### you gonna keep doing s### that way for who’s who? Who now do you see profiting off Black Lives Matter? People who ain’t Black and who really don’t think your lives matter.”
He concluded, “They just throw the sign in their yard and advocate for whatever they want. Then when you laying on the side of the street dead, or if you walking down the street and they don’t know you, they calling the police on you.”
Killer Mike became a supporter of progressive Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders’s 2016 and 2020 runs for the presidency as a Democratic candidate. He also aligned himself with Republican Georgia Governor Brian Kemp. Mike didn’t publicly endorse Kemp in the 2022 gubernatorial race.
Michael by Killer Mike will be the Southern MC’s first solo LP since 2012’s R.A.P. Music. The 48-year-old Grammy winner released the “PART 1: Don’t Let The Devil” and “PART 2: Motherless” mini-films in May. Previously, Mike teamed with El-P for four Run The Jewels albums.

Stormzy opened up about exploring Black stories with his publishing imprint as #MerkyBooks celebrated its 5th year. The London-based rapper was appearing at the renowned literary festival at Hay-on-Wye in Wales, U.K. to discuss his aim of developing and producing diverse storytellers.
“With literature and writing music, both are about finding your voice… and the way you write,” he said. “When you’re young there’s a way you write in school, there’s a comma and… you put all these words in and all the fancy moves. But it’s not about that. It’s about telling a story.”
He recalled a revelation while reading a particular book as a kid, which showed him “the whole smoke and mirrors of writing being Shakespearean, eloquent,” was a fallacy.
“It’s not about that,” he added. “Your truth is enough. Your words are enough. Your voice is enough.”
Stormzy also addressed the importance of publishing multiple genres. He continued, “The reason I wanted all these various memoirs, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, is Black people are not monolithic, we are multi-faceted. Growing up where I was… people think, OK, you’re a young black boy that raps, that’s what you do. And it’s like, no. There are days when I’m really angry… days when I feel on top of the world… even with literature, we are multi-faceted.”
Stormzy Shuffled His Schedule To Surpise Fans At Burna Boy Gig
Stormzy postponed his festival appearance from Saturday to Sunday (June 4) to accommodate his surprise performance at Burna Boy’s London Stadium gig. The gig marked the first time an African artist headlined a stadium in the U.K., and so the “African Giant” went all out. Dave, J-Hus and Popcaan all joined Burna Boy at the sold-out show. Check out the clips below.
Burna boy. How dare you bring out Popcaan, Dave, J Hus and Stormzy all in one concert. Don’t ever let me enjoy like that again 😡 what a show! pic.twitter.com/AN4SxIXy0Q
Nonetheless, despite the dazzling bright lights of his musical career, the rapper is looking to the future. Stormzy longs for the day he can look back and reflect on how many Black authors #MerkyBooks helped grow.
“My actual dream is being 80 years old, no one cares about Stormzy anymore; he’s just chilling with his dogs, and I see someone and they say, ‘Yo, I’m a published author, I sold so many books on Merky… and it’s nothing to do with me,” he said. “It’s not a vanity thing. It’s just this engine that allows black authors to come and grow and thrive.”
Wendy Williams’ manager slammed her son Kevin Hunter Jr.’s recent claims the talk show host is being taken advantage of by her team. In a recent interview, Hunter said Williams’ advisers overlook her health concerns for financial gain. The 22-year-old also claimed his mother is near death as those around her do little to help her with her struggles with alcohol, accusing her team of emboldening her drinking.
However, Will Selby refutes his allegations and denies Williams’ team is exploiting her.
“Taking advantage of her for what? To get what? To do what?” Williams’ manager stated during an interview with ET. “I’m not here to brag, but I was doing just okay before Wendy came along and I insisted on helping her because she requested my assistance.”
Selby also pointed to Williams’ court-appointed guardianship, stating all decisions are approved by the court.
“No one, even if they wanted to take advantage of her—everything has to get approved by that court,” he added. “So, any type of business dealings that we do, Wendy, myself and anyone—we have to get the guardianship to sign off on it. So how can anyone take advantage of her?”
Selby also blasted Hunter for going to the media with his concerns about his mother’s health.
“He’s entitled to his opinion. I’m just trying to say that us, as adults, let’s be responsible and let’s actually utilize some common sense. Someone was near death, someone like your mother. Why would you go to an online publication to discuss it with them?” Selby questioned.
Wendy Williams Is Currently Receiving Treatment At A Facility
He also gave an update on the radio host’s health, confirming she’s currently receiving treatment at a wellness facility.
“She’s progressing very well,” he said. “She looks healthy. She sounds healthy, and I think she’s doing amazing. As of today. I’m not a doctor, but that’s my synopsis on how Wendy’s doing right now. Wendy is at a facility doing her best to be her best. She’s taking it day by day.”
Teyana Taylor has shared a fairytale-inspired short film to mark her debut Jordan collection. The Teyana Taylor x Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 “A Rose From Harlem” arrived last week (June 1) and sold out within minutes of the launch. The sneaker was in high demand after fans saw celeb unboxing videos ahead of the release. Missy Elliott and Lil Wayne were among the lucky few gifted an advance pair.
On Tuesday (June 6), Taylor shared a star-studded mini-movie created for the Jordan collection. The film features Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, who plays Prince Charming to Taylor’s Cinderella. DJ Khaled also makes an appearance, starring as the fairy godfather. Other cameos include Remy Ma, Lola Brooke, Fabolous, and Maino, alongside Taylor’s daughter, mother and grandmother.
The multi-hyphenate took to Instagram to thank her co-stars and share her “love letter to Harlem.”
“Dreams and fairytales are more realistic than the mind perceives it be,” she began. “A tangible dream is simply a non-fictional fairytale. As a dreamer, I was often afraid to join life’s magic on the dance floor until I truly started believing myself.”
Taylor shared an inspiring message, encouraging all fellow dreamers of the world to “Be brave enough to be different, and allow life and TIME to Evolve You.”
“Thank you to the village that helped tell the story of a dreamer that bloomed from the concrete with this beautiful cinematic commercial/mini movie & this beautiful sneaker.”
She added, “This is my love letter to Harlem and all of the dreamers around the world.” Read her post and watch the mini-movie below.
Nicki Minaj is facing legal action brought by a jeweler who claims the rapper refused to pay for damage to some pieces she borrowed. A West Hollywood jeweler claims he lent Minaj some jewelry for an appearance via her stylist, Brett Alan Nelson, according to TMZ. The stylist agreed to return the bling on time and be responsible for any damage to the items while in his possession.
However, the jeweler claims the items weren’t returned on time and when he did get his goods back, there was some noticeable damage. He claims two of the 66 borrowed items came back with defects to a pair of earrings and leaf ring.
A source from Nicki Minaj’s camp denied the claims, insisting the pieces were sent back on schedule. Furthermore, the source argues the store had the items for some time before complaining about a missing stone.
Nonetheless, Roseark Jewelers invoiced Nelson for the damage to the tune of $26,239.50 plus interest. However, despite repeated attempts to collect a payment, the store says the debt remains unpaid, and now they’re pursuing Nicki Minaj and the stylist in court.
Minaj’s legal team, however, is dismissing the lawsuit as a publicity stunt.
“We have not been presented with any evidence that any of the jewelry at issue was damaged by Nicki,” attorney Jordan Siev explained. “This lawsuit appears to be nothing more than an ordinary insurance claim by the jeweler designed to generate publicity for itself and extract a payment to which it is not entitled. We will defend the lawsuit vigorously.”
Meanwhile, in other Nicki Minaj news, “OMGNICKI” was still trending on Twitter a day after the NYC native announced a release date for her long-awaited fifth studio album.
“I’ve always had a love for cooking,” she said. “When people ate my food, they would always just rave about it,” she said “Food was the main topic, so I would search for recipes. It kept me calm, it helped me through my depression, it actually saved my life. It was a place where I could be alone, it was a place that didn’t allow me to think of anything else outside of what I was doing. You’d have to do things and give your full attention to it. I became great at what I love to do and I‘d been putting this stuff on my Instagram.”
Putting her food on Instagram secured got the attention of some producers who believed in her enough to offer her a show. As Yo-Yo explained, “I got a call from Rochelle Brown from Powerhouse [Productions] one day and she asked, ‘Can you film yourself in the kitchen?’ I was in New Orleans for the Mardi Gras, girl, got myself a kitchen, filmed this little piece, sent them back to it. They said they were going to create this sizzle reel for me.”
She said two years later her show was picked up and she is now a TV chef like Carla Hall, Bobby Flay and some of the others we’ve learned to love.
Diddy claims he’s a doer—not a talker—and likes to show his love for Yung Miami with “acts of service.” The Bad Boy Records founder gifted the City Girls rapper a pearly white Mercedes-Maybach last year, reportedly worth upwards of $220,000. However, Diddy isn’t content with just splashing the cash to show he cares and is all for meaningful gestures.
When Rick Ross pulled up on him recently to promote a car cleaning product, Diddy decided to get his hands dirty and wash Yung Miami’s truck by hand.
“I’m washing the car right now, because this is part of my language,” Diddy explained in a video Rozay shared on Instagram. “Acts of service.”
Although he admitted to having some help from an employee, Diddy dutifully ensured every inch of the vehicle was spotless. According to Rozay, the Hip-Hop mogul even got on the truck’s roof. “He made it happen,” Rick Ross told Diddy. “I’m proud of you.” Check out the clip below.
While Diddy got busy with Yung Miami’s motor, Ross grabbed a bucket and sponge to clean Mama Combs’ car. The Biggest Bawse has experience in this department; he used to wash cars as a teen to earn cash.
“My very first [hustle]…well, I always go back to the car wash,” he explained during a panel talk at the 2021 REVOLT Summit. “I was 13, I got $30 a day from 8 in the morning to 8 P.M. That’s when I just learned to go above and beyond from the big homies that brought their cars in.”
His specialty was washing and detailing cars while customers were busy running other errands. He even earned a nickname as a result. He said, “They used to call me Heavy Silicone.”
Emerging artist 3LetterNuk has just dropped his latest single and music video, “Chaser,” produced by Kontrabanz. Available on all digital platforms via Artbeatz. Download & Stream “Chaser” here.
Inspired by his newfound love for shots, “Chaser” showcases 3LetterNuk’z’s versatility as an artist as he tackles the concept of not chasing after anything or anyone.
3LetterNuk’z explained the concept behind “Chaser” as a playful response to mind games in relationships, where he uses his aversion to chasers in his drink to express his unwillingness to chase after someone who plays games. The inspiration behind the single came from the artist’s recent interest in shots, leading him to create this project with a fresh perspective.
The music video for “Chaser” was co-directed by 3LetterNuk’z and Bangout Films, who had worked on some of his earlier projects. Their seamless chemistry produced a visually captivating experience that accentuates the artist’s lyrical flow and creativity.
With the release of “Chaser,” 3LetterNuk’z aims to set the tone for his upcoming project. He continuously pushes himself to become stronger and desires to trust his instincts fully. With the video and song’s creative elements, it is guaranteed to leave an impact on listeners and fans alike.
After years of development, multiple delays, and changes in directors, DC’s “The Flash” has finally made its way to the big screen. The film is directed by Andy Muschietti, known for his work on the horror films “IT: Chapter 1” and “IT: Chapter 2”. The lead role of Barry Allen, also known as “The Flash,” is played by Ezra Miller, who previously appeared in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” (2016) and “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” (2021).
In “The Flash,” Barry Allen is living in Central City, adjusting to his responsibilities as a member of the Justice League. He is also trying to prove his father’s innocence in the death of his mother many years ago. Barry runs out of options and decides to experiment with time travel to change the past, hoping to save his family and clear his father’s name. However, this decision unintentionally alters the future and traps Barry in an alternate reality where a familiar but threatening alien force emerges. To save the world, Barry seeks out his fellow Justice League members, only to find that they are different from the heroes he remembers. Together, they must unite to prevent the destruction of the world and help Barry return to his own time.
“The Flash” is an entertaining comic book film that blends action and comedy. Ezra Miller’s portrayal of Barry Allen continues the character’s role as a source of comic relief. However, amidst the humor, there is a serious and emotional storyline involving Barry’s mother, loosely based on the 2011 “Flashpoint” comic. This storyline drives the film and the characters’ motivations.
Barry’s alteration of the past has significant consequences, causing disruptions in the space-time continuum and leading to interactions between characters from different timelines. The time travel element of the story is cleverly explained and engaging to watch as Barry realizes the damage he has caused and tries to fix it. The resulting chaos sets off a series of events filled with humor, action, and beloved DC characters from different eras.
“The Flash” boasts an all-star cast, with some surprises thrown in. Ezra Miller’s dual performance as two versions of Barry Allen showcases his acting versatility, capturing different tones, humor, vulnerability, heroism, and emotional moments. Ben Affleck returns as Bruce Wayne/Batman and delivers a fantastic performance, both in action scenes and as a mentor to Barry. Sasha Calle makes her DC debut as Supergirl, portraying the power and determination of the character. The film also brings back General Zod and Faora, along with their Kryptonian soldiers from “Man of Steel” (2013), providing exciting clashes with the heroes.
One of the film’s nostalgic highlights is Michael Keaton reprising his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman from the original Batman films. Keaton’s Batman steals the show with amazing action sequences that thrilled audiences with childhood delight. Fans of Keaton’s Batman films will appreciate the return of iconic elements such as Wayne Manor, the Batcave, Batmobile, Batwing, and other Easter Eggs from Tim Burton’s classics.
For fans of Zack Snyder’s DC trilogy (“Man of Steel,” “Batman v Superman,” and “Zack Snyder’s Justice League”), “The Flash” is reassuringly canon to the foundation laid by Snyder. While the film has a different tone, aesthetic, structure, and pacing, it acknowledges the origins of this iteration. It features characters cast by Zack Snyder, revisits scenes from “Man of Steel,” includes the tactical carrier from “Zack Snyder’s Justice League,” and references events from that film. The Snyderverse remains intact and may be explored further in the future.
However, the movie’s current time-traveling plot device opens up the expanded multiverse, allowing DC characters from alternate and intersecting timelines to appear in this film and future ones. While this concept may sound complex, the film’s explanation and execution are surprisingly easy to follow.
As entertaining as “The Flash” is, I have a couple of critiques to mention. Regarding the humor, while many comedic moments were funny, there were jokes that didn’t land well, felt forced, or were somewhat lowbrow in nature. Additionally, some of the situational humor, while amusing, seemed to linger on for too long at times.
Furthermore, the visual effects in the film, while generally serviceable, are inconsistent and could have benefited from more work in post-production. Fortunately, these moments of subpar VFX didn’t detract from the story or the overarching premise but did leave me wishing for a more polished execution of some of the final visuals.
“The Flash” has been hailed as “The Greatest Superhero Film Ever” by certain industry executives at Warner Bros. Discovery. However, having seen the film twice, I personally don’t find that statement to be true. If you’ve heard similar claims, my advice would be to temper your expectations based on those early opinions. That being said, “The Flash” still possesses several endearing attributes that make it a highly entertaining film. It features great performances, particularly the show-stealing work by the legendary Michael Keaton, a clever premise, an emotionally driven core story, exciting action sequences, solid direction by Andy Muschietti, and surprising character appearances throughout.
When it comes to “The Flash,” general audiences will find entertainment in the whimsical nature of the Barry Allen character(s), the film’s comedic aspects, and the thrills and action it offers. However, longtime DC fans will have an even deeper appreciation for the nostalgic elements on display and how the film pays homage to the foundational DC characters and films that came before it.
While “The Flash” may not be the ultimate game changer for the cinematic superhero genre, as previously suggested by the press, it certainly provides a fun ride that is entertaining, nostalgic, touching, and pays great homage to some of the most iconic superheroes in DC’s history. “The Flash” debuts in theaters everywhere on June 16th – Enjoy!
Jay-Z’s longtime engineer Young Guru explained his problem with Timbaland using AI to make a song with the late Notorious B.I.G.
Young Guru discussed the rise of AI at length in an interview with Okayplayer. He explained why he called out Timbaland for pushing AI’s ability to create music with the voices of deceased artists.
“The reason that I said something to Tim, number one, is because me and Tim have worked together and we have a relationship and that’s why I started in love,” Young Guru said. “I was like, “Tim, I love you, but this is dangerous because of who you are. If you set the precedent that this is okay, then every other kid is going to feel like oh, well Tim did it.’”
Young Guru didn’t view himself as anti-AI, but he objected to the way some people used it. He worried about Timbaland legitimizing harmful practices.
“When you take Big’s voice and you have him saying things that he would have never said, or it’s your interpretation or some other writer’s interpretation of what you think Big would have said, this kind of violates him and his legacy,” Young Guru said. “How do you think his daughter felt? How do you think CJ felt hearing their dad’s voice?”
He added, “How do you think Faith feels? How do you think Big’s mom feels? They’re not getting paid from any of these things that are being put out.”
Timbaland hasn’t officially released his AI-generated Biggie song. The producer posted a snippet of it on Instagram in May.
Lil Tjay ran into more trouble with the law on Tuesday (June 6).
The NYPD detained Lil Tjay after cops allegedly spotted a firearm in his vehicle. The Columbia Records artist broadcasted his argument with the police on Instagram Live.
“Do not cuff me, bro,” he said when one officer told him to put his hands up. “Do not touch me, bro. Nah, bro. Don’t touch me, bro! What am I under arrest for? Don’t touch me. Do not touch me, bro … You fake ass—how you gon’ tell me you gon’ cuff me and stop? You know you can’t cuff me.”
A cop told Lil Tjay to turn around, which agitated him. The rapper denied having a firearm in the vehicle as the situation began to escalate.
“No, n####,” he said. “F### n####. No, bro, hell no … What’s in the car? I don’t know what’s in the car … There’s no firearm in the car.”
Police grabbed Lil Tjay. Onlookers encouraged him to not fight back. One of his associates picked up his phone to continue filming the incident.
Authorities haven’t announced any charges against Lil Tjay. He was previously arrested on gun charges in May.

2Pac’s biological father, Billy Garland, provided some juicy anecdotes regarding his famous son in a recent Art of Dialogue interview. During the conversation, Garland opened up about his feelings about 2Pac’s 1995 single “Dear Mama.”
Evidently, Garland wasn’t too fond of the lyrics, “No love for my daddy, ’cause the coward wasn’t there/He passed away and I didn’t cry.” Not only was Garland very much alive, but he felt the characterization was unfair.
“At first I was upset ’cause I’m trying to see you and, you know…but then it hit me,” he said. “For one, I ain’t dead, so you really didn’t know me. If you would have known me, you would know that I wasn’t dead. So I knew there that someone had lied to him from that point.
“Later on, when I found out that somebody did lie to him, that song made perfectly good sense. I understand it totally. When I hear it now, I still laugh. I still love that f###### record though. I do. I listen to his music daily. Every freakin’ day. And I like it. Then it hits me, he’s my son. It’s a twin thing.”
Elsewhere, Garland talked about the perils of fame and 2Pac’s eventual demise. As he says in the clip, he got “caught up.”
Both 2Pac’s mother Afeni Shakur and Garland had been active Black Panther Party members in New York in the late 1960s and early ’70s. A month before 2Pac’s birth, his mother was tried in New York City as part of the Panther 21 criminal trial. She was acquitted of over 150 charges.
Dear Mama is also the name of the new FX docu-series directed by Allen Hughes. The show dives into the relationship between Afeni and 2Pac as well as her political activism with Garland.
