Estelle & JOI Get Funky In “The Fire”

“I’m not looking for a dub…and my company’s enough, who gon’ Make me fall in love …I’m looking for the one who makes me catch a fire…”  – Estelle

Estelle’s music video “The Fire” featuring JOI is a super vibrant celebration of funk and R&B that totally matches the energy of her latest single. Estelle keeps the party vibes going with her soulful vocals, singing about the person who lights her fire. JOI, the progressive soul queen and Badu bestie, kicks things off with a bold spoken word intro and adds a sexy bridge that really spices up the track. The song dives into funky grooves with a bass line that’s absolutely – pardon the pun – fire.

NLE Choppa Roasts Woah Vicky In NSFW Rebuttal To Devil Worshiping Accusations

NLE Choppa dished out a scathing response to content creator Woah Vicky after she made multiple accusations about him in a tweet.

On Wednesday (November 27), Vicky tweeted a direct shot at Choppa seemingly out of nowhere. In the brief message, the viral social media personality accused the “Or What” hitmaker of aligning himself with Satan and alleged that he was spreading propaganda about homosexuality.

“Nle choppa sould his soul to the devil,” Vicky wrote in the tweet. “B that’s why he’s saying he’s gay now. He’s a puppet.”

Vicky then appeared to appeal to Choppa by alluding to the unconditional love of God.
“But hey,” she continued. “Your soul belongs to God it’s not yours to sell it’s never too Jesus loves you.”

It didn’t take long for the Memphis-bred rapper to catch on to Vicky’s remark. As a result, he tweeted right back at her with a jab suggesting she’s just bitter because he won’t hook up with her.

“Cause I won’t give yo herbal ranch aioli cigarettes built ass no dick,” Choppa wrote in the tweet.

While it’s unclear what exactly led to her outburst its apparent that Vicky has discovered somewhat of a hack for going viral over her Bible-thumping rhetoric. Earlier this month she went viral after sharing yet another bizarre tweet, except this time she was talking about herself instead of Choppa. In the tweet in question Vicky laid out her requirements for her soulmate — whom she believes will take the form of an athletic, God-fearing Black man.

“I’m a white Christian single woman who’s looking for a successful black athlete football or basketball is fine with me lets have children and be loyal and get married any takers ?” she wrote in the tweet.

Along with the expected backlash Vicky revealed in subsequent tweets that she’s been recieving DMs from all the athletes ever since she went viral. Who knows, maybe somehow this exchange with NLE Choppa could lead to their connection!

Chrisean Rock Calls Cops On Ex-Boyfriend Demanding DNA Test For Son

Chrisean Rock accused her ex-boyfriend of stalking her after he followed her around a mall, insisting he’s the real father of her son and demanding that she take a paternity test to prove it.

Footage of the controversial rapper and reality TV star surfaced online posted by Rock’s old boyfriend, Ronny Doe, on Friday (November 29).

In the video, Ronny pulled up on Chrisean Rock, who was holding her infant son, and proceeded to make a scene, following her around a Subway store.

“We got junior right here,” he said while Rock attempted to shield her son’s face. “Why are you stalking me?” Rock asked while trying to make her escape.

“Nobody stalking you,” Ronny argued. “That’s my f###### son.”

Chrisean Rock then threatened to call the cops on her ex but Ronny continued. “Call ’em,” he replied. “Ain’t nobody touch you. Call ’em.”

In another clip, mall security guards gathered around Chrisean Rock and the baby while Ronny continued yelling at her. “You a police ass b####,” he exclaimed.

It’s unclear what prompted the incident with her ex, but Chrisean Rock and Blueface recently sparked marriage rumors. Additionally, Blue’s mother appeared to indicate that the “Thotiana” rapper had been released from jail.

It’s not the first time Ronny Doe has challenged Chrisean Rock over the paternity of her son. Despite Blueface confirming he took a DNA test proving he fathered the child on their reality TV show, Ronny previously demanded a test.

In October, Ronny claimed he had been intimate with Rock around the time of her son’s conception. He insisted he had a right to know if he was the father in a heated video rant.

Nicki Minaj Swats Away Kai Cenat’s Mom Thanksgiving Wishes Over Stream Food Blunder

Nicki Minaj has proven yet again why she’s notorious for having a cold-hearted demeanor.

Immediately following Thanksgiving, Nicki Minaj straight up gave Twitch streamer Kai Cenat’s mom the cold shoulder in response to a shout out she dedicated to the New York-bred rapper during her son’s holiday stream. And unlike Keke Palmer, who shared a harmless story about her interaction with the “Anaconda” lyricist at the Met Gala, Cenat’s mom was simply wishing Nicki Minaj and her son, Poppa Bear, a Happy Thanksgiving.

And yet, the streamer’s mother received a similar social media tongue lashing from Nicki — who appeared to be bitter over her last appearance on Cenat’s stream. In her response to the shout out, Nicki wrote a tweet from a third person perspective of her son in which she slammed Cenat’s mother over a food fail she claims left her traumatized.

“He said where his plate that yall didn’t have for his mama when she visited hungry that one time in ATL chi when she thought she was getting some good TRINI home cookin but instead she left with a headache & a glass of stale orange juice,” Nicki wrote in the tweet.

Nicki Minaj similarly displeased by Keke Palmer’s impression of her during their Met Gala exchange. Following the Nope actress’ latest appearance on The Tonight Show, Minaj has seemingly made it known that she doesn’t want to see anyone, especially Palmer, attempt to mimic her likeness or share info about their shared dealings with her.

In a tweet, the Queen rapper shared on Wednesday (November 20), she appeared to react to Palmer’s endearing rendition of their meeting at the Met Gala by threatening to levy a cease and desist against her.

Uncle Luke Calls New Generation Of Rappers Soft While Criticizing Drake Over UMG Legal Petitions

Uncle Luke rips into the new generation of rappers while giving Drake a piece of his mind over his recent legal filings in a fiery live stream.

The legendary Miami rapper didn’t hold back in his critique of today’s rap scene while wagging a finger at Drake over the pair of legal complaints he filed against Universal Music Group and Spotify over Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” diss track. In addition to blasting the Canadian superstar Luke also took aim at the new generation of artists for what he calls their “soft” behavior.

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

While he admitted to being a fan of Drake’s music Luke didn’t mince words when it came to the rapper’s recent legal moves. In fact he appeared to initially troll the “I’m On One” hitmaker while the DJ Khaled-produced record played in the background.

“That’s the guy who filed a lawsuit,” Luke said. “I like Drake music. I don’t like what he got going on right now, but I like his music.”

Luke continued by condemning Drake for attempting to expose the music industry over payola in connection to his claim that UMG and Spotify boosted “Not Like Us” via bots and pay-for-pay tactics.

“Some things you don’t talk about,” he said. “You don’t talk about Payola. You don’t talk about buying live streams. And you don’t sue after you got dissed. And you done did some dissing.”

Uncle Luke’s criticism was pointed particularly at what he sees as a trend of sensitivity rampant in today’s rap culture.

“That’s y’all new people,” Luke said in part. “That’s y’all young people. Y’all young people live in a soft society. I’m glad I’m an OG. Y’all young people, soft. G####### it. Y’all soft, soft. Soft. Y’all, soft.”

As he pressed on, Luke expressed his opinion that modern rappers are quick to take things to dangerous extremes, rather than handling conflicts the old-fashioned way.

“You got soft men,” he said. “You got rappers get in a diss war, and then they go get the gun and shoot each other. No, how about going fight?”

Luke went on to explain that in his heyday rappers dissed each other all the time, but they never resorted to violence or legal action — using himself, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg as examples of how to properly handle rap beefs the Hip-Hop way.

“All your favorite rappers are snitching and talking about payola and getting in their feelings and suing people over a diss,” he said. “We dissed each other. Me and Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg dissed each other. And other rappers, The Real Roxanne, Roxanne Shanté, everybody dissed each other. One thing off limit, the kids off limit. Girlfriends off limit, mama off limit, all that. That’s what y’all do.”

Luke’s remarks come on the heels of his own legal battle coming to an end. In a similar social media post last month Luke announced a court had ruled in favor of 2 Live Crew in a case over the rights to their catalog and trademark. In addition to confirming that 2 Live Crew members Mr. Mixx and the heirs of the late Brother Marquis and Fresh Kid Ice had been granted the rights to all of their albums as a result of the ruling.

Chlöe Bailey Responds To Critics Claiming She Attempted To Shoot Her Shot At Kendrick Lamar

Chlöe Bailey has pushed back against growing criticism online over her recent Instagram Live session during which she revealed her former admiration for Kendrick Lamar.

On Friday (November 29), Bailey is set the record straight after social media users took her recent Instagram livestream the wrong way, accusing the singer of attempting to “shoot her shot” at Lamar. For context, Bailey revealed in a previous livestream that she believed she and Lamar would end up together, while also explaining that she went through phases of obsession with various other artists such as James Fauntleroy and FKA Twigs, among others.

Social media users responded in droves by throwing shade on Bailey while pointing out that Lamar is engaged. In a candid response to the backlash she faces Bailey explained that her comments about the rapper were misunderstood—and she wasn’t about to let the drama get to her.

“I’m not shooting my shot at a married man,” Bailey said in part. “I was talking about years and years ago.” She clarified that her comments were simply a reflection of her youthful admiration for Lamar.

“I was just sharing how I was a diehard Kendrick fan,” she said. “Like from day one.” Bailey also slammed the negativity surrounding her livestream, suggesting that people were looking for drama where there was none. “Everybody just doesn’t like happiness,” she said. “Everybody has to take everything so seriously,” she said.

As she continued Bailey opted to take on a more levelheaded approach by explaining how she’s learned not to let the online chatter affect her.

“Honestly, I don’t let stuff like that get through anymore because I think it’s funny now how people will like take things out of context,” she said before adding with a laugh, “Hey, I’m innocent child.”

Bailey also joked about the relentless questions she’s been getting regarding Kendrick, humorously adding, “If you guys won’t stop asking me about the Kendrick stuff, I was sharing my love for the album, and I was sharing my mindset at 17 years old.”

She concluded by comparing the situation to her past expressions of admiration for other artists while also petitioning her followers for their grace.

“Just like how I shared my love for Omarion from B2K,” she said. “Like, come on. Give me a break, guys.”

JAY-Z Told M.I.A. to Get Plastic Surgery—Her Response Will Surprise You

Jay-Z’s alleged comments to artist M.I.A. about plastic surgery have sparked some controversy after the British-Sri Lankan musician openly disputed assumptions about her self-confidence.

In a newly released video, M.I.A. recalled a startling exchange after signing with Roc Nation, the entertainment company founded by Jay-Z.

“Even when I met Jay-Z and I signed to Roc Nation, the first thing he told me to do is get plastic surgery,” she said.

The globally recognized artist doubled down on her decision to reject societal beauty norms and prioritize her authentic self.

“I’m not insecure because I would have got plastic surgery,” M.I.A. stated, directly challenging those who might question her sense of self-worth.

“Their argument of ‘Maya’s insecure, that’s why she needs to massage her ego,’ fails. Fails because you turn around and ask those m############, what woman do you know who hasn’t had plastic surgery around you? All of them have. I’m the only one who didn’t.”

According to the “Paper Planes” rapper, her choice not to alter her appearance reflects defiance rather than insecurity.

“It’s not insecurity because if I was insecure, I would have done that 100 times over,” she explained. “Guess what? I’m 50, and I’m totally fine with the fact I am.”

M.I.A. joined Roc Nation in 2012 in a career move that was relatively brief compared to the length of her career.

Notably, her iconic single “Paper Planes” was sampled on Jay-Z’s 2008 smash hit “Swagga Like Us,” featuring Kanye West, T.I., and Lil Wayne.

At the time, M.I.A.’s boundary-pushing fusion of genres made waves far outside mainstream boundaries.

Reflecting on her career trajectory, she spoke of how her rise helped reshape the industry.

“I f###### took off when I was 30… I was the first, and I was the new, making something interesting happen that wasn’t f###### happening before,” she said, firmly placing herself in a narrative of both innovation and perseverance.

Jay-Z has not commented on her recent statements, leaving questions about the alleged advice and its implications for M.I.A.’s experiences in the male-dominated entertainment world.

In a tweet he shared on Wednesday (November 27), Deuce broke down the trials and tribulations he faced while crafting his Tribe album with his fellow Made Men Mafia members Dubba G and Turnt LilThadd.

The project, which features the aforementioned artists, and rappers such as OJ Da Juiceman and more, serves as one of Deuce’s first full-length releases to arrive since he left Quality Control Music Group (QC). While detailing the painstaking process he and his collaborators underwent to bring the project to life, Deuce revealed that he nearly quit his musical journey before delivering the alnum.

“I ain’t gonna sit here and cap like s### been easy,” Deuce started off in the tweet. “I thought about saying f## this rap s### but I ain’t built for quitting plus how would that look to my daughter?? So With all odds against me I still get up everyday and grind because I’m a Isom and grinding is in my blood.”

He continued, “I never took a short cut for nothing i got or waited for nobody to put it in my hand. So next time somebody ask where Duke Deuce been tell that fool to tune in. S/O to the true fans who stayed down.”

In another follow-up tweet the Memphis rapper thanked a fan for their support project while further illustrating the hardships he faced to produce the record.

“Aye main I really appreciate you guys for tuning in to the new album ‘tribe,'” he wrote in the tweet. “We worked our ass off to deliver this s### independently. Without yall support this s### wouldn’t be possible.”

Last year in September Deuce spoke about why he chose to part ways with QC during an interview with SayCheeseTV. While he had high praises for the label he explained why he felt so good moving on from his time as an artist on their roster.

“I’m no longer QC,” he said. “And it ain’t no bad blood. I love P and Coach. Them my guys type s###. But at the same time though, I ain’t gon’ lie, I feel good to gon’ head and be moving on cause honestly bruh, I’m elevating, and I’m more than just a rapper.”

EXCLUSIVE: Diddy’s Ex-Bodyguard Gene Deal Could Be Called As Witness In Assault Lawsuit Filed By Man

Diddy’s former bodyguard Gene Deal has been pulled into a legal battle as part of a lawsuit alleging that music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs sexually assaulted a man at a Detroit party in 1997.

Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith, a Michigan inmate representing himself, filed a notice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan to call Deal as a material witness.

Cardello-Smith, 51, who is incarcerated at Michigan’s Earnest C. Brooks Correctional Facility, contends that Gene Deal has insider knowledge of Diddy’s past lifestyle, which he alleges played a role in the assault.

This legal battle stems from claims made by Cardello-Smith against Diddy, which initially resulted in a staggering $100 million default judgment awarded to the plaintiff.

That judgment, however, was later overturned in September 2024 by Judge Anna Marie Anzalone, who ruled that Cardello-Smith had failed to properly serve Diddy in accordance with Michigan law.

Anzalone also noted that Diddy appeared likely to win the case based on the statute of limitations. The original lawsuit accused the mogul of sexually assaulting Cardello-Smith at a party 27 years ago.

When Diddy failed to appear in court to contest the allegations, a Michigan state court initially ordered him to pay $10 million per month beginning in October 2024.

However, his legal representatives successfully argued for the ruling to be set aside on procedural grounds.

Diddy has filed motions to dismiss the case entirely, with his lawyers arguing that federal jurisdiction applies because Cardello-Smith has repeatedly failed to follow legal protocols for proper service.

On the other hand, Cardello-Smith is pushing for the case to be sent back to state court and attempting to revive his case, with Gene Deal emerging as a potentially key witness.

The former bodyguard has gained attention in recent years for publicly discussing his time working for Diddy, often detailing controversial aspects of the Hip-Hop icon’s life.

Although much of the case remains buried in legal wrangling, one thing is clear: the introduction of Gene Deal as a witness could bring new intrigue and complexity if he is forced to take the stand.

Court officials have yet to schedule any hearings or motions in the federal case overseen by Judge Judith Levy.

Azealia Banks Claims Drake’s “Lethal Chess Move” Will Expose Music Industry

Drake‘s decision to go after Universal Music Group, Spotify and others over Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” diss sent shockwaves through the music industry and sparked intense criticism online. However, he does have his defenders, including outspoken rapper Azealia Banks.

She hopped on X (Twitter) to respond to a user who said they don’t feel bad for Drake because “he tried humbling other artists,” for years “because the machine was behind him.”

“Now that he don’t got the gun no more,” the user added. “He wanna start crying. Nah pleighboy… stick that chest out still.”

However, Azealia Banks disagreed, replying with, “Oh drake DEFINITELY has the gun. He’s about to crook umg and spotify on some minor legal formalities and actually be the first rapper in history to stage a heist of such epic proportions.”

She also insisted his legal action is “really such a lethal chess move,” that will shed light on “shady” industry practices.

“He’s going to subpoena literally every platforms records, they will not be able to cook the books,” she continued. “Then they will all have to prove that drake is a pedophile which would make UMG and spotify look retarded.”

She also predicted that Drake’s legal filings would prevent K. Dot from performing his scathing Drake diss at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

“Kendrick is not going to be able to perform they not like us,” she added. “Jayz is going to have officially been bodied by a singing n####….. everyone is going to gag at how this plays out.”

Like the critic Azealia Banks responded to, Joe Budden claimed that Drake had been shielded, arguing that UMG CEO Lucian Grainge had his back.

However, he exploded on Drake, branding him a “selfish lying manipulative sack of s###” whose past was catching up to him after spending 15 years making enemies.

Nonetheless, Azealia Banks is locked in, regardless of the outcome.

“Either way I’m so perched,” she exclaimed. “I’m genuinely interested on how this will turn out. This s### is 100% about to become music industry case law whichever way it goes. People all like ‘oh drake is soft and blah blah,’ but it’s truIy refreshing to not see a contemporary rap beef end up in violence. This is some s### my nerdy ass can get behind.”

Chlöe Bailey Talks Her “Kendrick Lamar Phase”—Confesses She Believed They’d Be Together

Chlöe Bailey just dropped a major bombshell during her recent Instagram Live session, revealing that she once was seriously obsessed with Kendrick Lamar.

In a candid moment during the live stream Bailey spoke to viewers about her infatuation with Lamar at an early age, just as his latest album GNX continues to dominate the internet and social media at-large. Though Bailey was previously known for her flings with other rappers such as Gunna, she admitted to her Instagram followers that she was convinced she was destined to end up with Lamar.

“I had a Kendrick Lamar phase and I was convinced I was going to be with him,” Bailey confesed.

Bailey, who’s known for her unapologetic honesty with fans, continued by recalling her intense admiration for the West Coast rapper and his early mixtapes.

“I loved him when I was younger so much from Section 80, even the mixtape before that that had ‘Alien Girl’ on it,” she said.

But it wasn’t just a fleeting crush, and Bailey went on to reveal that her love for Kendrick Lamar ran deep for many years.

“I’ve been a diehard Kendrick fan from day one,” she said. “I haven’t just hopped on the bandwagon now, but I’m happy a lot of people are hopping on the bandwagon.”

It wasn’t just a one-time obsession, though, as Bailey admitted, “I had phases” and went on to explain that Lamar was only one of many artists she went through intense periods of fandom for.

“I had a James Fauntleroy phase,” she quipped. “I had a Frank Ocean phase. I had a Twigs phase. I had a Tune-Yards phase. I had a Kendrick Lamar phase.”

Despite the crush fading, Bailey’s love for Kendrick Lamar’s music has clearly stayed strong over the years. When the conversation turned to his recent surprise album GNX, she couldn’t contain her excitement.

“I’ve had it on repeat for the past four or five days since it’s been out,” she said, revealing that she’s been thoroughly immersed in the album. “I love ‘man in the garden,’ what else… I love ‘luther.’ I love ‘reincarnated.’ I love ‘tv off,’ of course.”

While it seems Bailey may not be planning a future with Kendrick Lamar anytime soon, it’s clear she’ll always have a special place in her heart for his music. As fans continue to obsess over his latest project, it looks like Chlöe is leading the way with her deep love for K-Dot’s art.

Diddy Accused Of Dangling Woman From Cassie Ventura’s Balcony In New Lawsuit

Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing another lawsuit, this time filed by a former employee and friend of Cassie Ventura, claiming that the Bad Boy Entertainment founder attacked her in a fit of rage and dangled her off an apartment balcony.

In her lawsuit, Bryana “Bana” Bonglan, who previously designed clothes for the incarcerated mogul, alleged Diddy assaulted her in late September 2016 at Ventura’s Los Angeles apartment.

“Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs sexually battered Ms. Bryana ”Bana’ Bongolan, dangled her off of a 17-story-high balcony and then slammed her into the patio furniture on the balcony,” the complaint reads in part. “His outrageous and abhorrent conduct violated Ms. Bongolan’s fundamental dignity, bodily autonomy, and sense of safety.”

According to the filing, Diddy was already heated when he got to the apartment where Bongolan was staying with Ventura.

“This event was the culmination of a series of threats, intimidation, and violence that colored many of Ms. Bongolan’s interactions with Mr. Combs from the day she met him.”

The incident was previously described by Ventura’s longtime friend, Tiffany Red, earlier this year. She claimed Diddy “picked up one of Ms. Ventura’s friends like a child and dangled them over a 17th floor balcony,” but did not name the alleged victim.

Diddy Allegedly Threatened Bongolan’s Life

In her complaint, Bongolan claimed the assault “has resulted in deep and lasting harm.”

Her attorneys argued, “Mr. Combs’ threats that he was the ‘motherf*cking devil,’ and that ‘he could kill’ her were intended to terrorize intimidate, and instill fear. Therefore when he forcibly groped her breasts, dangled her from a balcony and battered her.”

Bongolan claims “she reasonably believed that Mr. Combs’ assault was him making good on his threats.”

Diddy spent Thanksgiving in Brooklyn’s notorious Metropolitan Detention Centre, having been denied another shot at bond. He has strenuously denied allegations in multiple lawsuits.

Diddy is charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges. His trial is scheduled to begin in May 2025.

Ashanti & Nelly Allegedly Have Another Baby Coming

Word on the street is that Nelly and Ashanti are about to have their second child together. Interestingly, the public hasn’t seen much of their first child yet, but according to sources, the couple is running it back again!

It was just about a month ago that Ashanti had her first performance since giving birth, and now reports suggest they’re gearing up for baby number two. I’m not mad (YES, I wish it was me!) — they seem truly happy together. Hopefully, they can maintain that happiness and continue building their family in peace. While this is still just a rumor, it’s worth noting that they’ve been rekindling their romance after years apart, and it’s great to see them thriving as a married couple. The haters were hating!

That said, let’s hope this rumor doesn’t drag Irv Gotti back into the spotlight of gossip rags. The last thing anyone needs is more drama overshadowing their happiness. Let’s focus on celebrating Black love and growth instead!

Nelly and Ashanti’s relationship has been a journey. They first met in 2003 at a Grammy Awards press conference and began dating shortly thereafter. Their initial relationship lasted a DECADE before they broke up in 2013. In 2023 – 10 years later – the couple rekindled their romance, and were secretly married in December of that year.

In July 2024, they welcomed their first child, a son named Kareem Kenkaide Hayne. ✊🏾

We are happy for them! I find it funny that he’s “the husband” now.

EXCLUSIVE: Nicki Minaj To Celebrate Birthday In Tropical Paradise, Husband Allowed To Travel

Nicki Minaj is heading to Turks and Caicos for some sun and fun, and thankfully, her husband Kenneth Petty has been approved by a federal judge to travel to celebrate the rap star’s birthday.

The celebrity couple will head to the Turks and Caicos Islands from December 3 to December 13, and Kenneth is allowed to join the rapper in celebration of her 42nd birthday despite legal restrictions limiting his international movement.

The ruling, issued by Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald, allows Kenneth to leave Los Angeles County for the luxury getaway, where the couple plans a family vacation.

Petty, who has been on probation following a 2020 conviction for failing to register as a sex offender in California, needed the court’s explicit permission to leave the country.

Petty’s criminal record includes a 1995 conviction for attempted rape, followed by a 2006 conviction for first-degree manslaughter, for which he served seven years in prison.

More recently, he pleaded guilty to failing to register as a sex offender in California, resulting in a 2022 sentence of home confinement, probation, and financial penalties.

International travel, therefore, remains a privilege requiring judicial approval.

As outlined in court documents, Petty’s legal team filed an ex parte application to request the trip. Approval of the motion was not without friction, as federal prosecutors opposed the request.

However, Petty’s probation officer did not contest the application and left the final decision to the court, which approved the vacation.

Petty must adhere to strict travel guidelines, including submitting a detailed itinerary to his probation officer before departure, maintaining regular communication during the trip, and reporting immediately upon returning.

These stipulations ensure continued supervision while allowing him a reprieve to join Nicki Minaj for her birthday celebration.

Earlier this year, Petty was also granted permission to accompany Nicki Minaj on the international leg of her Pink Friday World Tour.

Kendrick Lamar’s “GNX” Collaborator Claims Deluxe Edition Is Coming

Kendrick Lamar isn’t done yet according to West Coast rapper Lefty Gunplay and has even more metaphorical rap bullets to spray despite unloading the clip with his recent surprise LP.

On the heels of delivering his GNX album, which fires off shots at Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne and Drake, Lamar is readying a deluxe edition of the project, so says his “tv off” collaborator. Lefty revealed the news while discussing his relationship with Lamar during a recent appearance on The Bootleg Kev podcast.

“I know he’s got a deluxe version coming out,” Lefty said. “So I don’t know what he’s got going on. He’s very [secretive], but when you kick it with him in person he’s cool man.”

Though Lefty’s bombshell lacks specifics of the details surrounding the deluxe release, it’s more than likely fans will get the project sooner, rather than later, based on the clues Lamar has interpolated in the surprise rollout of GNX.

Of the numerous theories floating around on social media, one in particular from a Twitter user speculates that the snippet Lamar released on his Finsta account just before releasing the album could be a taste of the deluxe album that is reportedly on the way.

Additionally, Lamar provided multiple hints in the visual for his viral song “squabble up,” which paid homage to artists such as Ice-T, The Roots and more. More specifically, a scene from the music video in which a man is dressed as Isaac Hayes based on the cover of his Black Jesus album has also stoked the flames of speculation considering the LP was a double-disc release. Not to mention in one of his bars on the track, Lamar raps, “double back like a deluxe.”

Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Show Might Not Be Rappers If It’s Up To This Legendary R&B Group

Mustard may have to take a back seat when it comes to performing alongside Kendrick Lamar at the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show should the iconic R&B group SWV have any say in the matter.

In a recent Threads post, SWV vocalist Leanne Lelee Lyons sent a shout out to Lamar, who sampled the group’s soulful ’90s jam “Use Your Heart” for his GNX album track “the heart pt. 6.” Lyons also took the chance to shoot her shot at Lamar in an attempt to convince the West Coast rap juggernaut to bring the group out to perform a version of the track during his upcoming halftime show.

“Soooo @kendricklamar sampled our song ‘use your heart,'” Lyons wrote in the post. “Wouldn’t it be a treat if we performed together at the Super Bowl? Crossed [fingers crossed emoji].”

SWV’s “Use Your Heart” ballad was released as the second single from their 1997 album New Beginning. The track, which showcases the group’s signature harmonies, became a hit, reaching No. 5 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Though it did not crack the top 40 of the Hot 100, its success on R&B charts helped solidify SWV’s presence in the mid-’90s R&B scene.

While its currently unconfirmed whether or not Lamar will be bringing guests with him to appear in his performance at the Super Bowl next year, it goes without saying that Kendrick Lamar would certainly create a cultural moment should he enlist SWV for his set. If anything, Lamar’s experience performing at the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime show should serve as somewhat of a blueprint for the pgLang rapper when it comes to the impact of a star-studded band of performers.

For those who may not remember, the Super Bowl LVI Halftime show in Inglewood, California was helmed by Dr. Dre and featured artists such as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent, with guest appearances by Anderson . Paak. The performance ended up winning multiple Primetime Emmy Awards and laid the groundwork for Hip-Hop focused acts at the Super Bowl..

Nick Cannon Confesses “I Need Help” Amid Narcissistic Personality Disorder Diagnosis

Nick Cannon is opening up about the state of his mental health after previously revealing he had been diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD).

The father of 12 shed light on his diagnosis while helping serve 4,000 turkey dinners to the homeless at the Los Angeles Mission’s annual Thanksgiving outreach on Wednesday (November 26). Cannon explained that while he’s still learning about NPD, he always suspected he might have the condition.

“I kind of always wanted to get tested for it,” he told PEOPLE. “I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD. Even as a kid it was dyslexia, but just knowing that I’m just a neurodivergent individual, I kind of always knew.”

Nick Cannon first revealed his NPD diagnosis while speaking to psychology expert Dr. Cheyenne Bryant during an episode of his “Counsel Culture” podcast earlier this month.

“I’ve taken all the power away from the term narcissism ’cause I’ve researched it and I understand it,” he told Dr. Bryant. “Call me whatever you want… now if I didn’t know what it was, then I have issue with it.”

Now that Cannon has come to terms with his diagnosis, he believes he can work to challenge the stigma surrounding seeking help.

“I feel like there’s so many labels out there, but it’s like, to be able to embrace it and say, ‘Look, I’m healing. I need help. Show me.’ I just embrace mental health and therapy in such a strong way,” he added. “To be able to say I’m an example for others, but also be healing during the self-process works too.”

Meanwhile, the Masked Singer host also addressed how he handles the holidays with his extensive family.

“It’s very complicated. I’m a busy man on Thanksgiving,” he said.

As if the hype surrounding the album wasn’t rabid enough, the announcement follows a surprise release from Carti that fans have already tentatively titling ” PLAY THIS [All Different Type Of Hoes].” Additionally, Rolling Loud co-founder Tariq Cherif shared a tweet following the announcement, revealing that he spoke to Carti for several hours the night before the news went live. In the process, he told followers that Carti played him music from the album and further added anticipation to the project.

“Was on FaceTime with Carti last night for like 2 hours,” Cherif wrote. “Bro played me some fiiiiiire from the album. I Am Music is about to be a classic. Rolling Loud Miami debut. Movie! And he’s sorry about Thailand. S### happens but we move on. Let’s goooooo!”

Not to mention, talk show legend Maury Povich shouted out Carti in a post on the official Instagram account for The Maury Show, writing, “Drop the album.” This follows multiple NBA teams and other athletic organizations initiating a similar campaign on Twitter earlier this year after Carti went on a crazy run posting throwback jerseys and snippets of unreleased music on social media.

As of 2023, Whole Lotta Red has been certified Platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America), which adds another layer of anticipation to I AM MUSIC by way of the high expectations fans aleady have for the album since Carti dropped the lead single “ALL RED” in September.
