Teen Rapper Baby K Pleads Guilty In School Bus Shooting Amid Drill Rap Scrutiny

Teen rapper Baby K, whose real name is Kaeden Holland, has entered a guilty plea in a Maryland court in connection to an attempted murder charge over an incident on a Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) bus in May 2023.

The incident, which has stirred significant public interest and concern, involved Holland and three other teenagers storming onto a school bus around 5 p.m. on May 1, 2023.

They attempted to carry out a shooting directed at another student, but the firearm jammed, preventing a tragedy.

The intended victim escaped with minor injuries, but the occurrence has raised questions about the influence of Drill Rap on youth.

Holland, who was 15 at the time of the incident but now 16, faces a substantial sentence as part of the plea deal.

The court agreement suggests a 60-year sentence, with 35 years suspended, leaving Holland to serve 25 years if the judge approves the plea.

Slated for sentencing on May 17, the proposed arrangement also involves Holland’s incarceration at the Patuxent Institution, a maximum-security adult facility known for its therapy and counseling programs, as reported by Patch.

This case sheds light on the broader issue of Drill Rap’s impact on youthful behavior.

Drill Rap, a sub-genre of Hip-Hop known for its gritty, violent lyrics and portrayal of gang culture, has been linked to a surge in violence among youth around the world.

Critics argue that the genre glamorizes criminal behavior and encourages impressionable young fans like Holland to emulate the aggressive personas they idolize.

Wendy Williams Bags $400K From Lifetime’s Controversial Documentary

Wendy Williams is back in the news after court documents revealed her significant financial windfall from the controversial Lifetime documentary series “Where’s Wendy Williams?”

The four-part docuseries offers an intimate look into Williams’ life, career struggles, and health issues amidst her guardianship battle.

According to recent court filings, Williams has earned an astonishing $400,000 from the series, sparking a debate on the ethics of the documentaries amid concerns regarding her well-being.

Williams, aged 59, has been a dominant force in entertainment, transitioning from a radio gossip jock to becoming a daytime talk sensation with “The Wendy Williams Show.”

However, her career has been marred by health challenges, leading to her abrupt departure from the limelight.

In 2022, her team disclosed that Williams had been dealing with cognitive issues and was later diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

The docuseries delves into Williams’ life and her battle with her legal guardian, which has been a contentious issue.

Her guardian, appointed amid concerns for her health, has been accused by Williams and her family of financial misappropriation, a claim detailed in the documentary.

Including such sensitive information has raised ethical questions, with critics labeling the documentary exploitative.

Despite these controversies, Mark Ford, the documentary’s executive producer, asserted that the project was undertaken with full compliance and consent from Wendy Williams, her management, and her attorneys.

According to Ford, every step was taken to ensure the documentary was produced respectfully and with the necessary permissions.

Jam Master Jay’s Business Partner Randy Allen Clears The Air On Loyalty After Convictions

Randy Allen, a long-time business partner and friend of the late Run-DMC DJ Jam Master Jay (Jason Mizell), has issued a poignant statement following the conviction of two men found guilty in the murder of the Hip-Hop icon.

The verdict comes after years of investigation and speculation that had occasionally cast a shadow on those closest to Jay, including Allen himself.

Jam Master Jay’s tragic demise in 2002 shook the foundations of the Hip-Hop world. As a vital part of Run-DMC, Jay was instrumental in bringing Hip-Hop into mainstream culture.

His murder, occurring in a recording studio, left the community reeling and desperate for answers.

Attention quickly turned to Jay’s inner circle, with Randy Allen amongst those scrutinized by both law enforcement and the public eye.

“These past years from the beginning have taken a great toll on us all. By all, I mean everyone who loved Jay and was invested in bringing the right people to justice. Many people have questioned my integrity, my dedication, my movements and my overall loyalty to my friend and his family,” Randy Allen told AllHipHop.com in a statement.

Ronald “Tinard” Washington and Karl “Lil D” Jordan’s recent convictions marked a significant milestone in the quest for justice. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York states both men face a minimum of 20 years to a possible death penalty, a testament to the gravity of the crime.

“Many times I’ve been portrayed as a hindrance, a thief, a murderer and more. The public was swept away by speculation, limited information, out of context headlines all while I worked diligently behind the scenes towards what we all wanted,” Randy Allen said.

“I practiced patience while the wheels of justice turned at the pace they needed to, uncontrolled by the fickle masses and their opinions. Opinions formed in the heat of uneducated banter. Opinions formed in the streets while the culprits partied and sat with many of Jay’s family and friends while their lies were believed,” he continued.

In the backdrop of this legal resolution, Randy Allen has been at work on a documentary, “Hush over Hollis,” aimed at shedding light on the nuanced and often misunderstood dynamics of Jay’s entourage and the broader Hollis, Queens community they hailed from.

Allen’s experiences and insights promise to offer a unique perspective on a story that has captivated many. His official statement reflects relief, vindication, and an unwavering respect for Jay.

“For years, you cast your gaze upon me with blame and contempt, convinced of my guilt in our friend’s demise. This verdict speaks volumes: You were wrong all along and justice finally prevailed,” Randy Allen said.

Randy Allen’s forthcoming documentary affirms a commitment to honoring Jam Master Jay’s legacy while confronting the painful realities surrounding his loss.

13-Year-Old Accused Of Killing Aspiring Rapper In Tragic Shooting

A 13-year-old boy has been taken into custody following a fatal shooting at a local gas station that claimed the life of 24-year-old Byron Dennis Junior, who was an aspiring rapper/producer.

The tragedy unfolded at a Circle K store, where Dennis was shot in the chest and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

This event has left the victim’s family and the community grappling with the complexities of youth crime and the search for justice. According to a report by FOX59 News, the young suspect faces charges of murder and robbery.

Surveillance footage from the gas station was instrumental in leading the authorities to the teenager, who was arrested at his home shortly after the incident.

The circumstances leading to Dennis’s death were particularly tragic, as it was revealed he was attempting to make a purchase at the store when the young suspect tried to rob him.

A scuffle ensued, during which Dennis’s gun was used against him.

The loss of Byron Dennis Junior has deeply affected his family, who remember him as a vibrant individual with a passion for personal fitness and music production, known affectionately as “The Heartbreak Kid.”

His sister Jasmine Dennis conveyed the family’s anguish and their desire for accountability through a poignant statement to FOX59:

“You’re just a baby. You made a really, really bad decision at a really young age…He just threw his whole life away, but you took a life… I don’t want a slap on the wrist for him.”

The prosecution is now endeavoring to have the suspect tried as an adult, underlining the grave nature of the crime.

NBA YoungBoy Fans Lose It Over Matching Outfit Photo With Another Rapper

NBA YoungBoy is trending following the release of his latest collaborative single featuring his close associate Herm Da Sheep.

In case you hadn’t caught on by now, YoungBoy and his Never Broke Again artist Herm teamed up for their new visual single “My BoBo” earlier this week. In keeping on brand with the Never Broke Again aesthetic, the visual appears to depict a fair amount of green flag activity between YoungBoy and Herm’s matching green sweatsuits and an array of luxury vehicles and jewelry.

While it’s clear the two Baton Rouge natives are locked in for life and share a bond that goes beyond music, fans now appear to be unclear about how deep their relationship is. Following a post Herm shared on Instagram, the circulation of a photo of the pair from the roundup has fans questioning YoungBoy’s body language.

In particular, it appears fans took issue with the snapshot of YoungBoy gripping one of Herm’s dreads. As a result, several people teed off on the semi-awkward flick in the comments section of the post.

“Broo why are u playin wit dis n###a hair??,” a user questioned off the bat.

Another user targeted the matching fits madness in their retort as they added, “This looks like some Diddy Meek Mills type of s###. Matching outfits and he holding bro hair. #WTF.”

The discourse even made it to Twitter (X), where users appeared to be in disagreement with each other about whether YoungBoy and Herm were actually related.

One X user wrote, “That’s his brother relax,” while another user wrote, “Whole time that’s his cousin and he just dissing someone.”

In the end, it all somehow boiled down to Birdman, as multiple Twitter users attempted to make a connection to the record executive and NBA YoungBoy’s recent “zesty” outbursts, as classified by some of his more critical listeners.

“Ever since NBA linked with Birdman he been acting sweet maybe Birdman caw cawwwed in him,” a user suggested, while another user added, “Birdman turned NBA YoungBoy out.”

What do y’all think? Is this type suspect or are folks dragging it out per usual?

Kamala Harris & Fat Joe Discuss Future Of Cannabis At White House Event

Vice President Kamala Harris convened a roundtable discussion that brought together influential figures across politics, entertainment, and advocacy.

The gathering featured rapper Fat Joe, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, and individuals previously pardoned for marijuana-related offenses.

The meeting deliberated the Biden administration’s current efforts to tackle the federal classification of marijuana and broader the implications for justice and equality in the United States.

Highlighting the event was Vice President Harris’s vocal commitment to addressing the historical inequities perpetuated by past drug policies.

“I will say that I believe that the promise of America includes equal justice under the law and for too many our criminal justice system has failed to live up to that core principle,” Harris stated, drawing upon her experiences as a prosecutor and later as the DA of San Francisco.

During her tenure as DA, Harris initiated reentry programs that exemplified a forward-thinking approach to criminal justice. She says these aspects are being incorporated into current administration policies.

Vice President Kamala Harris underscored the disproportionate impact of marijuana possession arrests on Black Americans and Latinos, noting, “Nobody should have to go to jail for smoking weed, and what we need to do is recognize that far too many people have been sent to jail for simple marijuana possession.”

This statement aligns with President Biden’s announcements intended to rectify the federal classification of marijuana, which equates it with substances like heroin and marks it as more dangerous than fentanyl – a comparison Harris derided as “absurd, not to mention patently unfair.”

The administration’s directive towards the Department of Health and Human Services, along with the Department of Justice, to reassess marijuana’s classification reflects a crucial step towards substantive drug policy reform.

“We have directed…to reassess how marijuana is classified under the federal drug schedule,” Kamala Harris highlighted, stressing the urgency and necessity of this evaluation.

This roundtable represents a pivotal moment in the ongoing debate over marijuana reform, emphasizing the Biden administration’s commitment to combating the inequities of past drug policies and paving the way for a more just legal framework concerning cannabis.

With the involvement of voices like Fat Joe, the dialogue bridges the gap between policy-making and cultural influence, underlining the multifaceted approach needed to address the complexities of drug policy reform in America.

Kid Cudi Responds To Kanye West’s Claims He Inspired Last 20 Years Of Hip-Hop

Kid Cudi may be stirring the pot with his longtime collaborator Kanye West following their recent reconciliation and the Vultures 1 rapper’s latest interview.

On Friday (March 15), Cudi appeared to respond to the claim West made in his new interview with Big Boy in which he breaks down how he believes he’s responsible for inventing every style of music for the last two decades.

In his brief remark, the INSANO lyricist referenced a Wikipedia article about the origins of West’s 808s & Heartbreak album, which West cited as an industry-shifting release. Though he didn’t author any text in the tweet, aside from a smiley face emoji covering up its mouth, Kid Cudi did share a screenshot of a portion of the Wiki, which cites him as one of West’s main sources of inspiration for the album.

“Kid Cudi’s sound is what inspired Kanye West to create his cathartic 808s & Heartbreak (2008), with West later stating that he and Cudi were ‘the originators of the style, kinda like what Alexander McQueen is to fashion,” the Wiki post reads. “‘Everything else is just Zara and H&M.'”

Again, while there is little to any other indication as to why Cudi shared the tweet, it would only make sense it serves as a response to West claiming responsibility for the careers of artists such as The Weeknd, Drake, Future and Young Thug.

“I done invented every style of music of the past 20 years, I created this genre. I created Weeknd’s genre, Trav, Drake…I’m gonna go ‘head and say it, with all love, Future and Thug also, because of the autotune album if you think about it,” Kanye West said to Big Boy.

Ye Reportedly Jacked For $1M Worth Of Yeezy Gap Merch

Ye has recently encountered a significant setback with his Yeezy Gap collaboration.

According to reports close to the artist, over $1 million worth of Yeezy Gap apparel has vanished from a Los Angeles warehouse, an incident now under investigation.

Representatives for Ye have disclosed alarming details surrounding the disappearance.

It was reported that approximately 60,000 pieces of the high-demand clothing line were unaccounted for, a discovery made just days ago.

The missing inventory, estimated to be around $1.2 million, has spurred immediate concern and action from the mogul’s team.

To add more drama to the heist, a fan account dedicated to Ye began advertising an event in Los Angeles, where Yeezy Gap items were being sold at significantly reduced prices.

This sudden and unexpected sale prompted suspicions of the missing items’ whereabouts.

Upon receiving information about the potential sale of stolen goods, law enforcement was engaged to investigate.

At the sale’s location, individuals managing the event presented receipts to authorities.

However, they could not verify that all items for sale were legitimately acquired.

Despite this, law enforcement officers faced limitations in seizing the merchandise due to conflicting reports and the absence of a formal police report from Ye’s side at the time of their investigation.

His team has taken matters into their own hands, taking legal steps, including issuing a cease-and-desist letter to the organizers of the controversial sale.

They accuse the organizers of fabricating records to mislead police and assert that the merchandise is, without doubt, stolen property.

Despite the setback, Ye’s representatives, spearheaded by chief of staff Milo Yiannopoulos, remain determined to recover the lost items.

They have indicated plans to file a police report and have purportedly identified a suspect in the theft.

Diddy’s Charter School Faces Criticism From Disappointed Parents And Former Employees

Capital Preparatory Harlem, a charter school co-founded by influential Hip-Hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2016, finds itself amid a storm of allegations and negative publicity.

Initially hailed as a beacon of hope and an emblem of quality education for low-income Black students, the school, part of a larger network of charter schools, is now facing severe criticism from parents, students, and former staff for its allegedly dysfunctional operation and unsafe environment.

Reports have surfaced detailing various issues plaguing Capital Prep, including high teacher turnover, frequent violence, inadequate facilities, and a lack of transparency from the management.

Fourteen individuals associated with the school, including parents, students, and former employees, discussed the situation at Capital Prep with TheCut.com.

The investigative piece revealed a reality far removed from its lofty mission statements and celebrity-backed image.

Capital Prep boasts about offering its graduates a “rigorous college preparatory curriculum” and a 100 percent college acceptance rate.

However, the school’s noble vision seems overshadowed by operational mishaps, such as prolonged periods without instruction in critical subjects, leading students to spend hours idling.

The school has reportedly cycled through seven principals or interim principals in as many years, contributing to its instability.

Despite the generous support from high-profile donors and a board comprising notable Black public figures like Diddy, the school’s resources appear insufficient, with accounts of shortages in essential materials such as chairs and computers.

The chaotic environment, accentuated by frequent fights and lockdowns, has fostered a climate of fear and confusion among students and faculty alike.

Parents seeking answers and accountability from the school have faced resistance and a lack of communication, with concerning incidents, including a reported bedbug outbreak, going unreported.

The disillusionment extends to Combs’ involvement—or the perceived lack thereof—with many feeling that Diddy’s connection to the school did more for appearance than substance.

In response to the allegations, Capital Prep Schools has expressed sadness that some were not satisfied with their experience but contested the accuracy of some claims without delving into specifics.

“We accept and are saddened that some scholars and colleagues were not pleased with their experience,” said Shenique Coston, director of communications and development. “However, we affirmatively state that many of the allegations included in your fact-checking list are fabrications.”

Attempts to reach Steve Perry, a prominent figure in the charter school movement and co-founder of Capital Prep and representatives for Combs, for their comments have gone unanswered.

As Capital Prep aspires to move forward, enrolling students for the 2024-25 academic year sans Combs’ official affiliation, the school’s ability to regain trust and deliver on its promise of an elite education to the children of Harlem remains to be determined.

Transgender Woman Fights Cis Male During Kanye West’s Rolling Loud Set

Another day, another Kanye West story. According to several social media posts circulating online, a brawl broke out during Kanye West’s Rolling Loud Los Angeles set on Thursday night (March 14).

Footage making the rounds on Twitter (X) suggests the fight blew up after a transgender woman and cis male got into a heated argument. The trans woman wound up with a bloody face after she was punched in the nose. People in the vicinity began to shout as the tussle continued and several tried to intervene. Someone in the background could be heard yelling, “Worldstar!” in what sounded like an effort to fan the flames.

Multiple posts suggest the trans woman got “jumped,” but some on Reddit believe that she was the instigator and simply lost the fight.

Either way, Kanye West’s Rolling Loud appearance wasn’t exactly what fans had hoped it would be. West and his Vultures collaborator, Ty Dolla $ign, headlined the Rolling Loud Los Angeles festival on Thursday (March 14). Many of those who showed up to see them left disappointed by the duo’s set.

As reported by the Los Angeles Times, their set amounted to yet another glorified listening party. West reportedly just paced around the stage with a mic in his hand but didn’t actually rap. And despite bringing out Quavo and Freddie Gibbs (who are both featured on the album), they didn’t really rap either. After they all left the stage, an anonymous DJ played roughly a half-hour’s worth of old Kanye West classics, including “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1,” “All of the Lights” and “Runaway.” And that was that. Kanye West never returned to the stage.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign Accused Of “Fleecing” Rolling Loud After Disastrous “Performance”

Ah Kanye West, he never ceases to create controversy everywhere he goes. Despite his blatant antisemitism and seemingly endless social media diatribes, people keep showing up to support him. On Thursday (March 14), West and his Vultures collaborator, Ty Dolla $ign, were pegged to perform at Rolling Loud Los Angeles. In fact, the annual festival actually added a day so they had a slot. But among the hundreds (or thousands) that showed up were many angry fans, who left disappointed by the duo’s set.

As reported by the Los Angeles Times, they didn’t actually perform new material from their album—it was essentially another glorified listening party. West reportedly just meandered around the stage with a mic in his hand but didn’t actually rap. If he did, nobody heard it.

Of course, that didn’t stop West from bringing out some of his collaborators. Guests including Quavo and Freddie Gibbs joined the duo onstage—who also just walked around apparently—and at one point, 10-year old North West emerged alongside several of her friends to jump around to “Talking.”

After they all left the stage, an anonymous DJ played roughly a half-hour’s worth of old Kanye West classics, including “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1,” “All of the Lights” and “Runaway.” He never came back.

Reactions on social media were swift, with many commenting on how Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign basically ripped off Rolling Loud organizers. As one person wrote, “Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign after fleecing Rolling Loud.”

Rolling Loud continues on Saturday (March 16) with performances by Post Malone, $uicide Boy$, Summer Walker, Big Sean, Larry June and Flo Milli, among others. The concert wraps up on Sunday (March 17) with appearances by likes of Future x Metro Boomin, Don Tolliver, Bryson Tiller, Ski Mask the Slump God, NLE Choppa, That Mexican OT and Chief Keef.

Dr. Dre Reveals Cause Behind Three Strokes Following 2021 Brain Aneurysm

Dr. Dre has opened up about facing not just one, but three strokes in the aftermath of his harrowing brain aneurysm in 2021. The rap mogul, known for his pioneering contributions to the music industry, made the candid admission speaking with James Corden for SiriusXM’s This Life of Mine, shedding light on the severity of his health struggles.

Following his hospitalization for a brain aneurysm in January 2021, Dr. Dre’s recovery journey seemed to be relatively smooth. The initial incident sparked concern among fans and peers alike, but the extent of his health complications has only recently been divulgued. Revealing the staggering toll the ordeal took on his body, Dr. Dre disclosed that he suffered three subsequent strokes, underscoring the gravity of his medical crisis.

“It’s just something that you can’t control that just happens and during those two weeks, I had three strokes,” he said. He continued, looking back on what took him to the hospital, “I got up and I went on about my day, and I thought that I could just lay down and take a nap. My son had a female friend that was there and was like, ‘No, we need to take you to the hospital.’ So they took me to urgent care.  Next thing you know, I’m blacking out. I’m in and out of consciousness, and I ended up in the ICU. I was there for two weeks. I’m hearing the doctors coming in and saying, ‘You don’t know how lucky you are.’”

Dr. Dre was eventually told he had high blood pressure, something he wasn’t aware of. In fact, he thought he was perfectly healthy.

“Nobody could give me an answer,” he said. “I had no idea that I had high blood pressure or anything like that because I’m on my health s###. I’m lifting weights, I’m running, I’m doing everything I can to keep myself healthy. High blood pressure in Black men, that’s just what it is. They call it the silent killer. You just have no idea, so you know, you have to keep your s### checked.”

Dr. Dre was told he was lucky to be alive—that’s how dire his situation was.

t’s crazy, so now knowing that I had no control over that. It’s just something that could happen out of the blue. You wake up and you go, ‘S### OK, I’m here.’ I’m at Cedars-Sinai hospital and they weren’t allowing anybody to come up, meaning visitors or family or anything like that, because of COVID, but they allowed my family to come in. I found out later, they called them up so they could say their last goodbyes because they thought I was outta here.”

Kai Cenat Responds To Getting Dissed By Kanye West

A new online feud between Kanye West and Kai Cenat broke out overnight. The Vultures 1 album creator sent antagonistic direct messages to Cenat before sharing the Instagram DMs publicly.

Kai Cenat learned about Kanye West’s direct messages while unboxing free Vultures merchandise during a recent livestream. The award-winning Twitch personality talked about the items being too big for him which apparently ignited West’s fury.

“Don’t make no jokes about my clothes, when you ain’t say nothing about what Adidas is doing,” read the DM from Kanye West. “When ‘Vultures’ song came out you ain’t play my verse. You controlled. Don’t play with me.”

West has repeatedly slammed Adidas after the company parted ways with the Grammy Award winner over his antisemitic comments in 2022. Adidas continues to sell its remaining Yeezy inventory despite Ye calling the new Yeezy 350s “fake.”

Regarding Kai Cenat, the “Streamer of the Year” winner instantly responded to Kanye West’s Instagram complaints. Cenat asked his live audience, “What the f### did I do!?”

Then the Bronx native engaged in a lengthy back-and-forth with West via Instagram direct messages. The contentious exchange included Ye writing, “F### you n####. You was told to diss my s###. You a pawn.”

At one point, Cenat got on the phone with someone who identified themself as Kanye West’s manager, John Monopoly. That conversation ended with Cenat and Monopoly agreeing to meet in the future.

Kai Cenat also shared Kanye West’s direct messages to his X account. That post amassed more than 5.3 million views, 79,000 likes, 5,800 reposts and 2,600 replies on the social media platform.

Turn Down For What? Lil Jon Turns Down For Islam

Talk about a plot twist! Lil Jon, the king of crunk himself, has just taken a spiritual detour and embraced Islam, which was announced right on Twitter (I’m never calling it X). Now, he reportedly goes by the name “Brother Jon.”

Lil Jon is taking it a step beyond and using #TurnDownForIslam as his new mantra. Most people are supportive of the venture, but some people are talking smack. It is all love, even from the haters. Changing your name and embracing a new faith is no small thing. I give Brother Jon credit for that level of courage and authenticity. He could continue to pretend he’s that Crunk God still. Nope.

So, what’s next for Brother Jon in this new chapter? Only time will tell, but I suspect he’s got some tricks up his sleeve. He’s already released a mediation album, remember?

So, here’s some information for those of you who don’t know much about Lil Jon’s past.

Lil Jon had the clubs bouncing non-stop with that high-energy crunk sound. Back in the day, he wasn’t just an artist; he was a movement. With his signature dreads, oversized shades and that unmistakable pimp chalice, he was the face of crunk music. Lil Jon, alongside The East Side Boyz, brought us anthems like “Get Low,” “Snap Yo Fingers” and “What U Gon’ Do,” and more. “Bia Bia” was another favorite of mine! He held that conversion announcement until after the Super Bowl though! YEAH!

SIGNS: White Woman ID’ed As Criminal Mastermind In 10-Year Smash-N-Grab Spree

Yo, this is wild. First of all, we’ve seen so many images of smash-n-grab crimes in various cities across the nation. When we see these videos, there are generally Black folks running like wild animals in malls and stores, stealing like complete hooligans. So, now we know how this has really been playing out from these faux gangs to THE QUEENPIN.

Picture this: A suburban mom from California Michelle Mack (what a PERFECT NAME FOR A CRIMINAL), living in a lavish $2.75 million mansion, gets busted for orchestrating a mega-sophisticated theft ring, dubbed “California Girls.” The ring of crooks made off with nearly $8 million in makeup. You can’t make this up. We’re talking stores like Ulta, T.J. Maxx and Walgreens getting hit. It’s a big deal, but let me get back on my soap box for a second.

My headline is so crazy, because I have seen a bevy of bulls### in mainstream publications and they are leading with this “suburban mom” angle. No, that chick is a serious criminal and if she was a different hue, the reporting would be totally different. On top of that, I bet the arrest would have played out differently, too. Back to the story…

Mack ran a massive ring of others that she recruited, according to reports. She allegedly had a squad of up to 12 women jet-setting across the U.S., stealing beauty products so they could sell them on Amazon for cheap, which sounds extraordinarily dumb. By the way, they weren’t just hitting up California—they were allegedly getting busy in Texas, Florida, Massachusetts and more.

All of these scores, which includes other retailers, amounts to a billion in losses. But, everybody knows you can’t run these types of operations without the law catching up to you eventually. And they got her good. She had all this product in her garage—not a storage locker, not a stash spot and definitely not at one of her flunkies. She had it all in her own house. Also, they have texts of her admitting to stealing.

She is the queen, but there’s a king, too. Her husband was in on it as well. All of them are staring at 140 felony charges. Nobody has started snitching yet, but I think it is only a matter of time. For now, they’re all pleading not guilty, but the evidence is stacking up like a Black Friday sale. Amazon seems to be on the lookout too, because this is a huge deal.

I’m very interested in seeing how they are treated throughout this process. I suspect they are going to do the right thing. But imagine how many times this chick and her husband went to the store and walked around without security following them.

Imagine that.

Cardi B Reveals Why Her Remix Of Ice Spice’s “Munch” Never Dropped

Cardi B explained why she refused to release her remix of Ice Spice’s breakthrough song “Munch” during an appearance on 360 with Speedy Morman. The hitmaker disliked her verse and worried it would ruin Ice Spice’s popular track.

“I did do a thing for Ice Spice, but I just did not like how it sound,” she admitted. “I love the record. I did not like how I sound. You know it being on a drill beat, it’s not as easy as it look. I just feel like, ‘Oh my God … They’re gonna drag me and they’re going to drag the song bad.’”

Morman mentioned Cardi B’s collaboration “Shake It” with Kay Flock and Dougie B as proof she can sound good on a drill beat. But Cardi B said she felt much more comfortable rapping on “Shake It” than she did on “Munch.”

“That was a little bit more my speed because it was a little bit more aggressive,” she noted. “I’m really good at being more aggressive than being more sexy. I feel like I’m better off being aggressive than being sexy. So, I just felt like it was not giving. Like I didn’t even want to do this. I don’t even want to do this to this girl. The record is already great. I don’t want to f### it up. I just hated my verse. I hated my verse.”

She added, “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is embarrassing . I can’t catch the beat for s###.’ I could catch the beat, but I was like—doing drill music is not as easy as people think it is.”

Cardi B released a new single titled “Enough (Miami)” on Friday (March 15). The song arrived ahead of her long-awaited sophomore album, which is due out later this year.
