RBX has returned following a 17-year hiatus, ready to reclaim his spot as a Hip-Hop heavyweight with the release of his comeback album, Hibernation Shivers.
On Friday (March 15), the long-awaited LP arrived via Labcabin Records as a CD and BandCamp exclusive. The release of Hibernation Shivers also marks a triumphant return for the Grammy Award-winning Long Beach native, who was formerly signed to Death Row Records. The 18-track album boasts several high profile contributors, including the West Coast lyrical maestro Ras Kass for their “Hibernation” single.”
“RBX has such an iconic status and physical stature that ‘Hibernation’ seems like the perfect analogy for him dropping a new solo album after a 17-year hiatus,” Ras Kass says. “The Grizzly finally waking up to feast. I’m honored to be the BooBoo to the his Yogi. Salute.”
While Hibernation Shivers serves as a testament to RBX’s enduring influence and talent, it also doubles as a reminder that the bi-coastal competition inherent to Hip-Hop culture and in rap music is still something to take seriously. RBX actually explained in a press statement that his choice for the cover artwork was intentional in that regard, considering the image depicts him destroying the New York skyline.
“I went to Snoop Dogg with the idea of a giant version of myself crushing buildings for my album back in ‘94,” RBX said of the idea for the album artwork. “Next thing I know I see him doing it in the ‘New York, New York’ music video with Daz and Kurupt. That energy helped set off the infamous coastal wars. I’m taking it back and applying the proper energy this time around, ya dig?”

Dr. Dre wished his friend Snoop Dogg would stop getting involved in so many ad campaigns, businesses and other endeavors. The Aftermath Entertainment founder admitted he’s frustrated by Snoop’s lack of focus on SiriusXM’s This Life of Mine with James Corden.
“I personally think he does too much s### and we’ve been battling and bumping heads about [it],” Dr. Dre said. “Hell yeah I tell him that. I’m always in my big brother mode. I always tell him like, ‘Why the f### are you doing this and that? Come on.’ He’s like, ‘Let me live Dr. Dre, cuz. Let me do my thing, man. Do I bother you about the s### you doing, cuz?’
He continued, “So we have our—I call it sibling rivalries and s### like that, but I would love it if he’d just … focus on this thing and make sure this thing right here that we’re working on is the best that it can be.”
Dr. Dre and Snoop launched an alcoholic canned drink called Gin & Juice in February. The two are also working on a new album titled Missionary, which remained a work-in-progress due to Dr. Dre’s perfectionism.
“I said, ‘Let’s make a whole album,’ and Snoop’s crazy ass is like, ‘Cuz, we can get this whole album done in two weeks,’” the renowned producer told Corden. “I’m like, ‘No we can’t. Nah, we’re not doing that.’ Snoop recently said on some interview, ‘Dr. Dre says I need two more days and he said that to me like 85 times,’ so yeah. I just want to get it done and get it right. That’s all it is.”
Earlier this week, the Hollywood Walk of Fame announced Dr. Dre will receive a star on March 19. The star will be placed next to Snoop’s spot on the Walk of Fame.
Meet John Mackk, a 26-year-old from Oakland. As a Bay Area native, Mackk aims to show the world that his style and music can reach beyond the confines of the West Coast. As of late, he has become one of the most promising young artists on the indie scene with his viral song “Slow It Down,” which has accumulated more than 125,000 videos and sounds on TikTok and 18 million streams on DSPs.
Late last year, John Mackk released several notable collaborations with the likes of Mike Sherm, Mozzy, 310Babii and Heembeezy. He recently released his EP titled Signing Day, with several notable tracks including “Rubi Rose,” which the female rapper and model later shared on her Instagram page.
John Mackk was also featured on the Carrots cypher hosted by Anwar with the likes of 03 Greedo, Kalan FRFR, Buddy, Guapdad and Wallie the Sensei, to name a few. His next song, dropping in March, is titled “Pose for Me.” AllHipHop spoke with John Mackk about his roots, new music and more.
AllHipHop: What was your come up in the rap game like, and how did you end up becoming a full time rapper with a team and label?
John Mackk: My come up in the rap game in Oakland was a crazy process. I feel like I never really got love and acknowledgement from my own people, but I never really dwell on it nor do I let it be an excuse. I always was happy because it never boxed me in andI always knew I’d be what I am today, so it created more fuel for me to thrive. I ended up a full-time rapper with a team and label by sticking with it. Through all the trial and error, all the fake love and goodbyes, I rebuilt my team multiple times to get to this point and time’s finally here. Now, I’m unfortunately with a label but brighter side is a year ago, I wasn’t in this position. God blessed me big time.
AllHipHop: Tell us about your upcoming single “Pose for Me?”
John Mackk: With my upcoming single, “Pose for Me,” I honestly feel like I found the blueprint so I’m capitalizing on it. I want people to hear my music and have fun screaming their heart out and want to party. When you’re in a bad mood, I want ladies to hear “Pose For Me” in that moment and lighten the mood. We have a lot of music disrespecting women, I want to balance it out and build them up.
AllHipHop: Which song would you say represents you the most thus far and why?
John Mackk: A song that represents me the most is called “Bleeding Hearts,” because it’s a representation of my emotions and I’m pretty vulnerable in it. It also was fun for me to record and shoot, I feel like it’s timeless.
AllHipHop: What was one of the most inspiring moments of your upbringing?
John Mackk: One of many inspirational moments in my life is realizing how much my mom sacrificed for me and my two siblings. She was a single parent, we were a regular poor family in a poverty area that barely had help from job to job. Always made sure we had food and clothes and never complained while doing it.
AllHipHop: Rubi Rose played your song and cosigned you. Have you linked up with her yet?
John Mackk: Yeah she kinda did, but nah we haven’t linked just yet. But we will though—watch. She don’t know me personally yet, but when she do she gon’ love me as much as I love her.
Kanye West recalled his attempt to arrange a threesome with Nicki Minaj and his former girlfriend Amber Rose in an interview with Big Boy. Ye proposed the idea of making Nicki’s “Monster” lyrics a reality to her then-boyfriend Safaree during the recording of 2010’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
“You know what’s so messed up is we didn’t really know they was together,” Kanye said regarding Nicki and Safaree. “So, we down doing Dark Fantasy and he in the studio. I’m just thinking she with a bad b####. I’m like, ‘Yo, Safaree, you think Nicki will let me and Amber hit like what she said?’ This her man! Like you gotta make these raps true … Ask your girl can I get her number.”
Nicki famously teased a threesome with Kanye and his girlfriend at the time on “Monster.”
“Besides Ye, they can’t stand besides me/I think me, you and Am’ should ménage Friday,” Nicki rapped.
Kanye, Ty Dolla $ign and Big Boy laughed about the awkward moment for Safaree, who shared a clip from the interview on Instagram Stories. Safaree maintained his sense of humor as he corroborated Ye’s story.
“This was funny af tho when it happened,” Safaree wrote. “I know some s### but don’t be saying s### .. my life is a [movie]. I’m an ICON.”
Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign sat down with Big Boy to promote their Vultures album trilogy. The duo released Vultures 1 in February. The project helped Ye score his first No. 1 hit in years when “Carnival” reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
Vultures 2 was scheduled to be released on March 8. The album was delayed like most of Kanye’s projects in recent memory. Vultures 3 was presumably delayed as well. It was originally supposed to drop on April 5.
Cardi B explained her family ties to GloRilla in an interview on Big Boy’s Neighborhood. GloRilla previously claimed the two were cousins, which Big Boy doubted, but Cardi B confirmed the rappers were related.
“That’s my cousin!” the Atlantic Records artist told Big Boy. “No, we’re cousins … Like a lot of people don’t know this. This is a true story. My grandfather used to like—I don’t like to put my family business out, but he used to push weight and everything. And there was this one time that he lived in Tennessee and whatever. So, he ain’t told my grandma that he was dealing with somebody over there. And then he had a kid out there and that’s GloRilla’s dad and everything. So that’s what makes us related.”
Cardi B and GloRilla worked together on the song “Tomorrow 2” in 2022. Both women didn’t realize they were related when they first met, yet Cardi B sensed a deeper connection between the collaborators.
“I just asked her like, ‘You don’t feel like—I just feel like we too much alike or something,’” Cardi B said, recalling her interactions with GloRilla. “’Like you get my jokes and everything.’ And she was like, ‘Yeah.’ I’m like, ‘Yo, there’s something funny. There’s something funny, something really weird.’ So, we started [asking about the family history].”
Cardi B stopped by Big Boy’s radio show before the release of her new single “Enough (Miami),” which dropped on Friday (March 15). The track arrived two weeks after she delivered her “Like What (Freestyle).”
The diamond-selling hitmaker released the songs to start the rollout for her sophomore album, which is due out later this year. Cardi B’s fans have been waiting for the untitled project since her Grammy-winning debut album Invasion of Privacy dropped in 2018.
Danielle Bregoli—also known as former Atlantic Records rapper Bhad Bhabie—gave birth to her first child, a baby girl named Kali Love. The internet personality shared a photo of her newborn via Instagram Stories on Thursday night (March 14).
Bhad Bhabie and her boyfriend, Le Vaughn, revealed her pregnancy in December 2023. The couple found out she was pregnant in July 2023. The two tried to keep much of their relationship out of the public spotlight due to social media scrutiny.
Last month, Bhad Bhabie spoke about motherhood in an interview with PEOPLE. She questioned why there was a negative reaction to her pregnancy. The 20-year-old mother believed she was unfairly maligned due to her infamous appearance on Dr. Phil.
“I even see people saying, ‘Oh, I don’t think she’s ready. I don’t think she’s ready,’ ” she said. “It’s like, ‘How can you, from your computer screen, determine if I’m ready to be a mother or not?’ I don’t even be on [social media], so how can you determine that? You know? It’s just kind of off.”
Bhad Bhabie admitted she wasn’t sure what the future held for her besides raising her child. She maintained a “go with the flow type of lifestyle” after she scored viral fame and never thought about a five-year plan. She hoped to do something meaningful in the next chapter of her life.
“Really, if I wanted to, I could retire right now and be a mom and never come out the house,” she said. “But I know that I still have more in me, and I feel like I have more to do. I’m still in the middle of figuring out what that is exactly, but I want to make sure whatever I do this time is definitely something that I’m really into and passionate about.”
At a recent red carpet in New York City, veteran actor David Alan Grier immediately delved into the highs and lows of his storied career, offering insights into the trials and rejuvenations in his journey. As a longtime journalist and storyteller, I uncharacteristically gushed over the hilarious thespian, blurting out, “I am your biggest fan.” Completely unplanned, but it created a scenario for an open, candid and revelatory conversation with one of the greats in entertainment.
Grier, currently promoting “The African American Society of Magical Negroes,” is known for his versatility and depth as an actor. He candidly shared his extreme disappointment that came with the cancelation of his short-lived show “DAG,”(a show I found hilarious) revealing the fierce battles and focus it takes to run a show. The actor discussed the harsh realities of navigating Hollywood, but added he’s in an amazing space where he finally knows what he’s doing.
For me, I found it clutch to hear Brother Grier discuss the various support systems he’s employed through the years, whether on ’90s staple “In Living Color,” the Key & Peele precursor “Chocolate News” or the current project. Throughout the interview, Grier, at times tearfully, touched on the resilience and perseverance necessary for longevity in the entertainment industry. In this brief but inspirational moment, he details the ups and the downs, the importance of “In Living Color,” his desire for “real Hip-Hop” to return and even wanting to be a “magical Negro.”
AllHipHop: Hey, how you doing? How doing? Good. Glad to be here with you. So first of all, David Alan Grier I’m your biggest fan.
David Alan Grier: What’s your name?
AllHipHop: Chuck Creekmur. Chuck. I’m going to start this off the right way. I think I was so hurt when they canceled “DAG,” man. I don’t know how you feel about it, but I was mad…
David Alan Grier: Long time ago, but I just, at that time, I thought that’s what I wanted. That was all that I wanted. I wanted my own show. And what people don’t understand is the battle. The battle for any and every inch. Just the freedom to do the story I wanted to do to writing, to just getting a Black hair person Don’t know. Well, David, he’s not in the union. You can’t. And it breaks you down when you have to fight so hard. So I learned a lot, but it takes a lot.
You can’t be the only one there the best. So that from in living color, it wasn’t just Keenan (Ivory Wayans). We had a whole phalanx of crew and family of Black and Brown and White people that we were all on board. The thing that people don’t know in Hollywood, that there are so many egos. I would rather destroy your show to prove a point. The only thing I’ve ever wanted is success. How can we be a success? But when you come up against someone who says, well, “I’ll burn down the house,” what do you do? That’s like, really? That’s artistic terrorism. You can’t. You can’t. So I learned a lot. I learned a lot.
So when I did Chocolate News, I was in every meeting because you, you cannot go home and say, “So you got this? You got my notes.” You come back on some craziness in the morning. So that really is what it requires to be totally free. Unexpurgated, to keep your voice pure, come hell or high water. That’s all I’ve ever wanted. And so the battle goes on. The good thing is after dag, it takes so much out of you. I’m like, damn man, lemme just go do something else. You lick your wounds because this is what I do. This is my life. I got to come back and try something else. So here we are. I’m still standing. I’m still here.
AllHipHop: Yes, absolutely. And really anyone that I’ve told is like, “Yo, I can’t believe you’re going to interview him.” All my friends and stuff.
David Alan Grier: It’s fine. I mean, I feel really humbled by my fans. I mean, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve heard about this. I remember I heard an interview by Bob Dylan and he’s almost 80, I think, and he said, the woman said, “You seem to enjoy performing on a different level.” And he basically said what I’m saying, which is like, I didn’t think I’m 67. I really didn’t. I thought I’d be retired. I didn’t think people would want me in the industry, let alone that I would be thriving. And now I actually know what I’m doing. So I have a different approach. I’m going to bring me into every room. I can’t leave me at home. So if we’re going to work together, I’m bringing me, and it’s led to a longevity and a richness in my career. And I connect with my fans on a different level.
And it really, really is humbling. I remember when I won the Tony Award a couple of years ago, and I posted on Instagram and this guy, excuse me, but this guy, he wrote back and he said, David, we’ve already given you every award. We’ve already honored you in every way. It’s good that you got this award, but we put you on a higher pedestal a lot longer. When I was younger, I couldn’t hear it. And that hit me on a certain way and it just broke me down, man. So I appreciate that love. When someone tells you, and I’ve heard that, well, if you in it, I’m going to go see it because you have not let us down, then I’m going to go see it. That’s responsibility. That means I can’t come with no b####### or I’m going to hear it. And believe me, I hear it sometime. Yeah, you all right, we like you. We ain’t like that other stuff. So all that stuff hits me different. It’s more resident, it’s deeper, and I feel it. So…
AllHipHop: As it relates to this movie, American Society of Magical Negroes, it’s a trope. We all know that. What’s your perspective on the “magical Negro“?
David Alan Grier: Dude, I was trying to get them parts! [Laughs] The the thing is, who I am, I would be be trying to get the “[Driving] Miss Daisy” role thing. “Oh, David, thanks for coming in.” If I just could have seen her and I’d be like, “Why did I get the lead slave?” I just wasn’t built for it. And I realize now that that is a gift. But back in the day, these were the roles where they were the Black people that getting awards and “Oh my God, you came out of the forest naked and you took care of these White people. We’re going to give you an award.”
I never got them. So it’s a real thing. It’s funny. I was talking to a white guy and he said, I never realized. We know, we know. I remember in the theater, we’re driving Miss Daisy, and first of all, Morgan Freeman is brilliant, but these white folks, they were really mourning. They were crying. And I was like, “Damn, damn.” So we blew it up on “In Living Color.” One of the things I loved is that, is “In Living Color” allowed us to bring our private conversations into the public. All the stuff we used to joke about in private, now we had a platform. So we fired so hard because we knew we were on a limited time. So everything was like do or die. I miss it, but I brought it to other things, other projects, and that’s where we’re at, man, do it. It’s your last time.
AllHipHop: Wrapping up a little bit, but “In Living Color” was a specific period of time. It was a bit of a renaissance overall, not just “In Living Color,” but in (TV and film for Black people). Do you feel like we’re getting back to that a little bit? A lot of the movies recently are very diverse.
I like that because for so long, Richard Pryor was the one black superstar comic male. Eddie Murphy took over after him. So there was not a growth. It was like we had a slot. I passed the mic to you don’t give it to anyone else. Wait till you’re done. Now there’s a bunch of people. And also I remember the first time when Prince, I think it was Musicology, he put it out only online. I remember talking to my friends, prince is crazy. This is never going to work. Well, now it works. Look at you. Literally all you need is a mic. And then you can blast. Go home. Right now you can live, live stream. So the culture has changed in which everybody has a voice. Doesn’t mean everyone’s going to listen to everyone’s voice, but at least we have the freedom to put your little G out and you don’t have to wait for approval, a million dollar bank to do it.
It’s not going to be on the same level, but that’s where it starts. Issa Rae started with a streaming online and now she’s big it up. And for me as an older actor, I really want to work with younger people of color, black women, men, young directors and writers to mentor them. And I call it subversive mentoring. I’m going to show you by my behavior. So working with Kobe as a first time director, I’m going to give him the respect on set and set a tone on set, which is the way it should be. Because I’ve been on other sets with, you’re at war, the director, I want to do this shot, you can’t do this shot. They’re arguing with the cinematographer, the lighter, I want to do this. Sit in the hallway. You can’t like it. So you’re fighting, fighting, fighting. It shouldn’t be that way. So that’s kind of what I do and I like it and I want to do more of it. I could do my part.
AllHipHop: They’re giving me the wrap up. But I got to ask you, “In Living Color” was so important for Hip-Hop, it was huge for Hip-Hop…
David Alan Grier: They were inextricably linked. And by happenstance it was Rosie Perez because her position was not official, but she was the one who brought all these emerging hip hop acts onto in Living Color and convinced Keenan, here, we should put these people on, put these people on, put these people on. And so it was all hands on deck. And one of the things I remember, Keenan, from the first day, he said, look, you can sit here and waste all this time or do your work, come with your characters and we will give you some daylight if they’re good. But I can’t do it for you. You can’t wait for these writers to, Hey, I got a character for you. So that really brought me on. I remember when Damon came to my dressing room, he said, look, when it first started, David, you need a character. And I started telling him about this blues dude that I used to see in Ann Arbor, Michigan. So we wrote That was Calhoun Tobbs Detroit. Exactly. But he pushed me. Come on man. So now think of something else. So that was very much the spirit and competitiveness and support. So it was beautiful.
AllHipHop: Thank you so much, man. It’s great to have you in this movie and your legacy too. Thank you so much for all you’ve given us. Can we get a quick shout out for AllHipHop?
David Alan Grier: All of Hip-Hop, wherever you at. I’m talking about the real Hip-Hop. I love it, man. Stay alive. It has to be pure. It’s funny. I’m trying to think. Sometimes I don’t even know what Hip-Hop is anymore.

Flo Milli’s second studio album, Fine Ho, Stay, dropped today (March 15). The RCA Records-backed project features chart-topping recording artists SZA and Cardi B.
Both the original version and a new version for “Never Lose Me” made the final Fine Ho, Stay tracklist. Flo Milli linked up with R&B superstar SZA and Hip-Hop superstar Cardi B for the “Never Lose Me Remix” collaboration.
Previously, Cardi B and SZA worked together on “I Do” off Cardi’s Invasion of Privacy album. The Grammy winners contributed to “No Love (Extended Version)” by Summer Walker as well.
“Never Lose Me” has already peaked at No. 18 on the weekly Billboard Hot 100 chart. The Gerreau-produced single became Flo Milli’s first career entry on the Hot 100.

Power Book II: Ghost has been canceled. This chapter in the fictional story of Tariq St. Patrick, played by Michael Rainey Jr., will come to an end later this year.
According to reports, the Starz network announced Power Book II: Ghost will close out with season four. Michael Rainey Jr. responded to the news of the crime drama’s cancelation.
“Portraying Tariq St. Patrick in the Power Universe has been an amazing platform, opening doors for young actors like myself, and I’m truly grateful for that,” the 23-year-old entertainer said in a statement.
Michael Rainey Jr. also added, “While the ending of Book II may feel abrupt and disappointing, I choose to view it as a stepping stone for many of us as we transition into the next chapter of our careers.”
Starz debuted Power Book II: Ghost in 2020 as a sequel and spinoff for Power which ran from 2014 to 2020. The two-part final season of Ghost premieres June 7 and September 6.
Michael Rainey Jr. returns to a Power Book II cast that includes Mary J. Blige, Method Man, Woody McClain and Michael Ealy. The Louisville native has also appeared in films such as 2012’s LUV and 2016’s Barbershop: The Next Cut.

Big Boy’s Neighborhood recently hosted Cardi B for a radio interview. While promoting her new “Enough (Miami)” record, the Bronx native talked about the fear of getting canceled by the public.
“That’s why I just disappear for a long time because I feel like fame stripped me from myself. And now I’m like being back to myself,” Cardi B admitted to Big Boy when he asked about so-called cancel culture.

“They’ve accepted fascism and those are the people who I feel like they want their rights to be racist back,” Charlamagne stated about Trump voters. “They want white supremacy to reign supreme over this nation.”
Stephen A. Smith made it clear he will not cast a vote for Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. The star of ESPN’s First Take explained his reasoning for opposing the twice-impeached, multi-time-indicted MAGA leader.
“I’m not voting for him, I can tell you that much right now,” Stephen A. Smith said to Charlamagne Tha God. “I’m not voting for him but it’s not because of his politics. On Wednesday (March 13), Soulja Boy appeared to react to the news that the House of Representatives passed a bill that would ban TikTok if the app’s Chinese-based parent company, ByteDance, doesn’t sell the company immediately.
“I made 32K in one day this why they tryna ban TikTok,” Soulja wrote in a caption of text on a screenshot of his earnings from hosting livestreams on the app.
Prior to his latest post, Soulja Boy had also previously shown how he managed to earn more than $17,000 on TikTok Live after only one stream. As a result, Soulja Boy appeared to swear off of Instagram for good based on the lucrative opportunity at hand on TikTok.

On Thursday (March 14), the G-Unit creator took a moment to issue a special Throwback Thursday post on Twitter (X) featuring none other than his estranged rap peer Young Buck. In the brief tweet, 50 Cent appeared to allude to finally gaining clarity on the incident depicted in the photo, when Buck appeared to refuse to take a photo with a fan.

Drake really is on demon time when it comes to being the center of attention around his associates and their female friends, according to social media comedian BenDaDon.
During a recent appearance on Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place podcast, BeDaDon broke down the embarrassing and somewhat predictable origins of he and Drake’s now infamous skit. In case you missed it, BenDaDon and Drake delivered a skit last year in which Drake successfully stole a woman the comedian appeared to be entertaining on a date after bumping into the pair “randomly” at the bar.
However, BenDaDon appeared to review the chances of bumping into Drake randomly as random as one would think considering he’s apparently notorious for pulling the same type of stunt with the guys.
“That literally happened because he does that,” BenDaDon said in part.
He continued, remarking on the specific occurrence which inspired the skit in his statement. “I think that we was in D.C. one day. And I was just talking to a girl. And then when I seen the n###a [Drake] come I was like, ‘Ohh s##t,’ and then you try to square your body up away from him or something. Because it’s a bunch of people in here that want to talk to you but right now I’m busy, bruh. This ain’t the time I’m trying to talk to you.”
BenDaDon went on to say that he sometimes feels the need to tell Drake to “back the f##k up,” especially when he’s coming on strong, which he says Drake often jokes about being a light flex.
Don Toliver and Kali Uchis announced the birth of their first child on Thursday (March 14). The couple held their baby boy in their arms in a video published on Instagram.
“You are everything we could have hoped for & more,” the couple wrote. “Thank you God for our beautiful healthy baby boy & thank you all for the Good energy along the way. may our home & your homes forever be blessed with peace, happiness & health.”
The Instagram post included audio from Toliver’s new single “Deep in the Water.” He released a music video featuring a brief glimpse of his newborn son on Thursday.
Uchis and Toliver disclosed her pregnancy in January. Uchis explained why they decided to keep her pregnancy out of the public eye for many months in an interview with the Los Angeles Times.
“We always talked about wanting to have a kid, so we were really happy,” she explained. “[But] I didn’t want to share that journey with just anybody. There’s so many people out there, even within my own family, that don’t wish me well. I didn’t want anybody to know until I felt that my pregnancy was viable. Ask any pregnant woman [why] they’d want to keep it private. It’s such a vulnerable situation.”
Uchis said she felt ready for motherhood, which was something she “always wanted to experience.” She told the Los Angeles Times she got sober and went through significant healing before she got pregnant.
Toliver revealed his son’s arrival a day after confirming his new album. The project is scheduled to drop later this year.
