Carl Crawford Blasts Megan Thee Stallion After Resurfaced Video Of Her Dissing 1501 Entertainment Goes Viral

Carl Crawford has taken to social media once again to call out Megan Thee Stallion months after filing a countersuit against her in their ongoing legal battle

The 1501 Certified Entertainment CEO shared his thoughts on his Instagram stories after an old clip of Meg performing resurfaced online. In it. Megan Thee Stallion raised her middle finger and remained silent instead of rapping the lyrics “I’m the 1501 queen,” dissing her former label.

Carl Crawford Unleashes On Megan

“See I really be minding my business,” Carl Crawford began before blasting the rapper. “Nah F### U Seahorse!!” he added.

He then doubled back a short while later to leave another comment. This time Carl Crawford suggested Megan change the name of “Realer,” the song she performed in the clip.

“Song should be called Faker than Fake,” he declared, suggesting the star is less than authentic.

Carl Crawford also fired a shot at the Houston native’s manager, T. Farris, whom he blames for the feud between him and Megan. “And F### T. Farris too u b####,” he penned.

WhenCarl Crawford was accused of having Megan under a terrible contract, he claimed it was all her manager’s fault.

“This guy [T. Farris] really took advantage of me and her [Megan Thee Stallion],” Crawford explained on The Bootleg Kev Podcast. “People don’t know, that contract had nothing to do with me. This guy T. Farris and her mom did the whole thing. So they do this deal, they bring it to me, they happy with it.”

Meanwhile, Megan the Stallion and Carl Crawford exchanged shots online earlier this year. The “Savage” hitmaker called out the “greedy men” responsible for her beef with the label after learning Carl Crawford filed a countersuit against her. In turn, Crawford accused her of “playing the victim,” and hiding behind Roc Nation.

Megan replied, “Carl I don’t wanna be signed to yo pill popping ass!” She also accused him of being a “powder head” and claimed he was the one hiding behind J. Prince.

The insults continued as Carl Crawford then branded Megan “a bonafide alcoholic” while accusing her of sleeping around.

The Game Calls Out Dr. Dre For Not Including More West Coast Artists On Super Bowl Halftime Show

The Game has opened up about how it felt to be left out of Dr. Dre’s lineup at the iconic L.A.-based Super Bowl halftime performance earlier this year.

The legendary producer assembled an all-star cast for the 12-minute set, including West Coast artists Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar alongside Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and 50 Cent. During a recent appearance on the I Am Athlete podcast, The Game, whose 2005 debut album The Documentary was produced by Dr. Dre, explained how he felt to be left out by his fellow Compton spitter.

While he was disappointed not to be included in the lineup, The Game was “hurt” Dre didn’t include more L.A.-based performers in the historic show. He believes the West Coast legend should have put on for the artists in his city instead of bringing in performers from elsewhere, no matter how iconic.

“Outside of myself, I also think that YG should’ve been on the Super Bowl,” The Game began. “If it was a New York Super Bowl you might’ve saw JAY-Z, you might’ve saw Nas, you might’ve saw Mary J. and Fivio Foreign and Alicia Keys….Snoop is an icon, Dre is an icon, Em is an icon — but Em is not from L.A., 50 is not from L.A.”

The Game Says “I’m Not A Safe Artist”

Furthermore, according to The Game, it wouldn’t have happened in another city.” I’m not taking away from the fact that they were on the Super Bowl, but L.A. n##### wouldn’t have been on a Detroit Super Bowl or New York Super Bowl. It just wouldn’t have happened. I was hurt by that,” he added.

The Compton rapper also had something to say about why he was not included in the show. “The real reason I wasn’t on the Super Bowl is because I’m not a ‘safe’ artist….You don’t know what Game gon’ do when he get up there.”

The Game continued: “They went with the ‘safe’ artists. Snoop Dogg was there because Snoop Dogg is safe, and he a legend. My grandmother knows Snoop! And so do my children.”

However, while The Game claims he’s not bothered by the snub, he wishes Dre explained the situation to him personally. “I feel like Dre should’ve called and said why. I would’ve understood that because I talk to Dre often.”

He added, “I just know if I was Dre and he was Game, he would’ve been up there. That’s just it, it’s L.A. And I am L.A. I’m in the streets.”

Nonetheless, The Game maintains he’s no longer bothered by it. Ultimately he dubbed the show “a win for our culture as a whole.” Check out the episode below.

DJ Quik’s Son Pleads Not Guilty To Murder

DJ Quik’s son David Blake Jr. pleaded not guilty to a murder charge on Tuesday (June 14).

Prosecutors accuse Blake Jr. of killing Julio Cardoza on May 25. DJ Quik’s 27-year-old son allegedly shot the victim in Downey, California.

Blake Jr. allegedly got into an altercation with Cardoza that led to gunfire. Authorities say DJ Quik’s son shot the 33-year-old victim from a car and drove away from the scene.

Cardoza suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He died at a local hospital.

Blake Jr. was arrested on May 26. He’s being held on a $2 million bail. His next court hearing is scheduled for June 27.

DJ Quik’s son isn’t the first member of his family to be accused of murder. The West Coast legend’s daughter Davieanna Blake faced a murder charge in connection to the death of her 2-year-old son in 2013.

Her boyfriend Darnell Alvarez, who was the father of her child, beat DJ Quik’s grandson for wetting the bed. The child died after suffering a lacerated liver, internal bleeding and other signs of severe trauma.

Blake and Alvarez were arrested on suspicion of child abuse and first-degree murder. Blake told police she didn’t stop Alvarez from beating their child out of fear of making him more upset.

‘Wendy Williams Show’ To Officially End On June 17

The Wendy Williams Show will air its final episode on Friday (June 17).

Debmar-Mercury’s daytime talk show will officially wrap up after its host was absent for the entire 2021-2022 season. Wendy Williams won’t be returning for the finale, but producers plan to air a tribute to her.

“The final original episode of The Wendy Williams Show will air on Friday, June 17th with a video tribute to the iconic host,” a spokesperson told Variety. “The series comes to an end after 13 successful years in syndication.”

Earlier this year, Debmar-Mercury announced it would end The Wendy Williams Show due to her health concerns. A new daytime talk show hosted by Sherri Shepherd will debut in the fall.

“Since Wendy is still not available to host the show as she continues on her road to recovery, we believe it is best for our fans, stations and advertising partners to start making this transition now,” Debmar-Mercury’s co-presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein said. “We hope to be able to work with Wendy again in the future, and continue to wish her a speedy and full recovery.”

Last month, Wendy Williams vowed to return to television. She also declared she won’t watch Sherri Shepherd’s show.

Juelz Santana Calls Out Lloyd Banks For Verzuz After Snubbing, Ready-To-Go Memphis Bleek

Juelz Santana dismissed the idea of battling Memphis Bleek, but he named a potential Verzuz opponent on Tuesday (June 14).

The Dipset rapper challenged Lloyd Banks to a Verzuz battle via Twitter. Juelz Santana also reiterated his disinterest in facing Memphis Bleek.

“I WANT BANKS!!!!” he wrote. “Bleek [too] EZ.”

Memphis Bleek saw Juelz Santana’s Twitter posts and responded hours later.

“Bleek EZ … if you scared say THAT!” Memphis Bleek wrote.

Juelz Santana originally downplayed the possibility of battling Memphis Bleek during an appearance on Drink Champs. The Diplomats member claimed it wouldn’t be a competitive matchup for Verzuz.

“I don’t think he want that,” he said regarding Memphis Bleek. “I don’t even want to say that. He’s gonna want what he wants, but the people don’t want that. I don’t want that. Matter fact, you could have that one … But Bleek good, though. I f### with Bleek. I ain’t taking nothing away from him either, but I just put myself up there.”

Memphis Bleek fired back at Juelz Santana on Twitter, making it clear he was ready for a battle.

“Haaa I love it hope it go down so he’ll see why he can’t feel his face,” Memphis Bleek wrote on June 4. “[Too] much.”

22Gz Arrested For Attempted Murder In New York

Brooklyn drill rapper 22Gz was arrested for his alleged involvement in a March shooting.

According to multiple reports, police apprehended 22Gz after he landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Sunday (June 12). His arrest prevented him from performing at Hot 97’s Summer Jam festival.

22Gz was charged with attempted murder, criminal possession of a weapon, assault and reckless endangerment. Prosecutors accuse him of shooting three people outside of Club Freeze Café and Lounge in Brooklyn on March 6.

All three victims identified 22Gz, whose real name is Jeffrey Alexander, as the shooter. Two of the victims, ages 21 and 29, were hit by bullets in their legs. A 31-year-old man was also struck in the foot.

“This shooting not only wounded the victim but endangered the lives of everyone in a crowded club,” Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez told TMZ. “Senseless gang rivalries fuel much of the gun violence in our communities and I remain committed to vigorously prosecuting anyone who engages in this criminal conduct.”

A grand jury indicted 22Gz on Monday (June 13). His bail was set at $500,000. His attorney Stacey Richman said her client’s expected to post bond on Tuesday (June 14).

“I look forward to evaluating the evidence and to our day in court,” Richman told the New York Daily News.

Jury Selected In Trial Of Man Who Killed Nipsey Hussle

A jury has been selected in Eric Ronald Holder Jr.’s trial for the murder of rapper Nipsey Hussle — whose real name was Ermias Joseph Asghedom —in Los Angeles.

Yesterday (June 13th), a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge gave the 12 jurors marching orders, instructing them to return to the courthouse on Wednesday, June 15th.

Justice H. Clay Jacke II also called for six alternate jurors to be chosen if a juror needs to be replaced during the trial, FOX 11 reports.

Judge Jacke, who is presiding over the trial, will hear the defendant’s opening statement regarding his killing of the chart-topping artist in a highly-anticipated trial that has been three years in the making.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed outside of his Marathon clothing store in Hyde Park.

It is alleged that Eric Holder was mad that Nipsey Hussle embarrassed him publicly by calling him a snitch. Surveillance and cell phone video captured him fatally shooting the father of two.

Holder was arrested on April 2nd, 2019, in the 9000 block of Artesia Boulevard in Bellflower by Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies and has remained in jail since then.

He was indicted for the murder of Nipsey Hussle in May of 2019 and possessing a firearm by a felon. He was also charged with attempted murder and assault with a firearm.

Courts Say Kardashians Should Get $390K From Blac Chyna For Failed Lawsuit

After months of media coverage, litigation, and a win on the Kardashian’s part, the first family of reality television wants Black Chyna to pay them back for all the drama she caused by taking them to court.

The K clan, Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie, want their expenses paid by the former King of Diamonds dancer.

According to TMZ, the family believes they should be compensated to the tune of $391,094.76 plus attorney fees.

Almost $200,000 ( $184,871.71) will go to reimburse the family for money spent on “models, enlargements, and photocopies of exhibits.”

Almost $97,000 ($96,622.47) is uncategorized and listed as other. The deposition costs were $63,078.20, court reporter fees were $19,895, the service of process fee was $9,325.99, and for the hosting of electronic documents, the fee was $7,248.35.

The attorney fees are not listed, but to score the victory, the Kardashians did not spare a penny on the best lawyers — watch their new show and see how Kim tried to come for Wack 100.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, the Kardashians bested Rob Kardashian’s ex and baby’s mother in a court case.

Dream’s mom sued the family, alleging they blocked financial opportunities for her because they didn’t like her, and she broke up with their brother and ruined their reality show, “Rob & Chyna.”

Blac Chyna has not commented on the court’s ruling. Maybe she is waiting on the judge to approve the fees the family has presented.

Gunna Details Bleak Circumstances Of His Confinement In YSL RICO Case

Incarcerated rapper Gunna revealed the bleak circumstances in which he is being held after being charged with 27 other people, including Young Thug, on RICO charges.

The feds filed a 56-count indictment against the Young Slime Life gang, which they claim is a subset of the Bloods, involved in murders, shootings, assaults, and drug deals.

Like Young Thug, Gunna surrendered to authorities in May after being charged with being in a “command position ” in YSL.

Both rappers have been denied bond until their trial begins, which is slated to kick off sometime in early 2023.

The 29-year-old rap star took to Instagram, where he posted a lengthy message to his fans and discussed the circumstances of his confinement in the Cobb County Jail.

“just a bed & a shower, no windows just walls. Can’t see or talk to anyone. I’m writing now & still praying everyday. I was raised to fight fire with water, even tho my country’s amendments have failed me! PROTECT BLACK ART,” Gunna captioned a post, along with a lengthy message to his fans.

“2022 has been one of the best years of my life, despite this difficult situation,” Gunna began. “This year I had the whole world pushing P. Growing up from where I come from in a marginalized neighborhood, I never dreamed my art would change my life in the lives of my loved ones. My entire life, I’ve seen Black Men, Black Women and Black Children constantly attacked, hated, murdered, berated, belittled, silenced, judged, used and held captive,” Gunna explained.

Gunna discussed how hard he worked to empower others and ultimately achieved his dream of success, including two Billboard 200 chart-topping albums, Wunna and DS4Ever.

The rapper also declared his innocence and vowed to fight the serious charges District attorney Fannin Willis has filed against Gunna and his YSL associates.

“For now, I don’t have my freedom. But I am innocent. I am being falsely accused and will never stop fighting to clear my name!

“The picture that is being painted of me is ugly and untrue. My fans know I love to celebrate life, I love my family, I love travel, I love music, I love my fans. I have all faith that God will grant me justice for the purity in my heart and the innocence of my actions,” Gunna said.

NLE Choppa Talks How He Can Help Justin Bieber With Ramsay Hunt Syndrome [VIDEO]

Bryson “NLE Choppa” Potts made headlines after announcing he wants to assist in curing Justin Bieber’s Ramsay Hunt syndrome. The “Shotta Flow” rapper offered his services to the global Pop superstar on Twitter.

“I tried to have my label DM Justin Bieber on Instagram. IDK if it was sent out because I don’t run it but can y’all please do me a favor and let him know I have what can help I promise. I just want to help and heal 💯💯🙏🏽,” tweeted Choppa on June 11.

AllHipHop caught up with NLE Choppa at Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2022 outside New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on Sunday. The 19-year-old Memphis, Tennessee native explains how he thinks Justin Bieber could overcome the neurological disorder.

“Just basic herbs that work with the nerves. Things like mugwort or damiana. Things that people can do their own research on,” said NLE Choppa. “If they just know how to use it, a lot of things will help for it. And just a full body detox. All that stuff helps.”

NLE Choppa Clashed With DJ Vlad Over Coverage Of His Tweet About Justin Bieber

NLE Choppa has been promoting veganism, meditation, holistic living, and alternative remedies for over a year. He launched his Awakened Choppa YouTube channel in August 2020. The verified page features Choppa gardening, cooking vegan meals, and discussing manifestation.

After attempting to reach out to Justin Bieber to help with his Ramsay Hunt syndrome diagnosis, NLE Choppa got into a heated exchange online with media personality DJ Vlad. The Me vs. Me mixtape creator referred to the VladTV founder as a “chump ass n####” and a “culture vulture.”

DJ Vlad called NLE Choppa a “snake oil salesman” and a “fraud.” The controversial Ukrainian interviewer also dismissed Choppa’s alleged previous statements about having a cure for cancer as well as sexually transmitted infections like herpes, gonorrhea, and chlamydia.

Logic Addresses Rumors He Dissed TDE Artist Reason

“Come on, homie, listen to the voice of reason. Yeah, you talk a lot of s### but don’t want the beef like a vegan. Was passing through like the aux channel. And then I fell asleep on you, s###, we call you the golf channel,” raps Logic on his new Vinyl Days album title track.

Back in 2020, California-based recording artist Reason had targeted words for Logic. The Top Dawg Entertainment emcee’s “The Soul (Pt. 2)” took aim at the Maryland-bred rapper.

“N##### pronounce my name wrong, tell me that I ain’t did much. See y’all mistake my name for Logic’s, y’all got me f##### up. How you compare a n#### that take from the culture versus a n#### that’s for it? This s### getting boring,” rapped Reason on “The Soul (Pt. 2)” track.

Fans asked Logic about Reason’s diss during a live Twitch session. The man born Sir Robert Bryson Hall II said at the time, “Did Reason diss you on his new song? I don’t know who that is.”

Apparently, some people assumed Logic shot back at Reason on his recent song “Vinyl Days” featuring DJ Premier. Logic took to his Twitter account to address the speculation around one of his latest singles.

Logic Tags Reason & Rory Farrell On Twitter

“Hey, bro @reasonTDE my boy @thisisrory said you thought I dissed you on my song ‘Vinyl Days.’ If I was going to diss you, I’d diss you. I love you, you’re my brother. Let’s get ice cream together some time,” tweeted Logic on Tuesday morning.

Rory Farrell of the New Rory & MAL podcast shared his response to the situation on Twitter as well. The former co-host of The Joe Budden Podcast quote-tweeted Logic and added, “And here I was just trying to be sensible… smh.”

At the time of the “The Soul (Pt. 2)” controversy, Reason offered a clarification for his takedown of Logic. The New Beginnings album creator claimed, in a now-deleted tweet, that he wrote the song before Logic’s temporary retirement.

“I’ll talk about the Logic thing if necessary later. But I do wanna make clear I didn’t wait til he retired to take a shot. I wrote this s### a year ago. That’s corny to do that now after he’s announced retirement. Take care, enjoy the music!” posted Reason.

Cordae Introduces “The Hi Level Mindset” At Debut TED Talk

Cordae makes his TED Talk debut with a speech titled “The Hi Level Mindset,” inspired by his mother, who raised him by herself after giving birth at 16.

The 24-year-old North Carolina rapper hosted the talk back in April, explaining how the Hi Level” mindset helps him achieve his dreams. He reflected on his journey and accomplishing his goals, transitioning from dropping freestyles in his teens to being a Grammy-nominated artist.

What does it take to build a legacy? Hip-hop artist Cordae tells how he went from mixtape-dropping high school kid to Grammy-nominated music star whose “Hi Level” mindset helps him achieve his dreams.

“The Hi-Level Mindset wasn’t something that she directly taught me or purposefully instilled in me, but something I learned simply by observation,” Cordae explained. “The Hi-Level Mindset is a philosophy, it’s a wavelength to apply to your everyday thoughts and regiment.”

Cordae Explains His 5 Golden Rules

He also laid out the five essential steps of “The Hi Level Mindset,” and how he applied them throughout his life.

1. Remain Positive

2. Always be intentional with your desires

3. Discipline = Excellence

4. Remove Negative People

5. Create a legacy

He recalled how the first rule helped him after one of his early mixtapes failed to do as well as he expected.

“The Hi-Level Mindset made me think, ‘Man, these misfortunes are just going to make my triumph story a lot cooler,” he said. “I used this as fuel to the fire, motivation if you will. It made me think, life is just a book, not every chapter is going to be perfect, but it’s about how it ends.”

Cordae then concluded, “In anguish and a bunch of what ifs or leaving legacy? I choose legacy, the Hi Level way,” he added before thanking the audience.  Check it out below.

In that time he has secured a number of placements such as on “Caution” by Mariah Carey, the title track of the icon’s 15th album which also debuted at #1 on Billboard’s R&B & Hip-Hop albums chart and #5 on the US Billboard 200.

Other tracks SLMN has secured placements on have been with artists such as Russ, Lil Gnar, Lil Yachty, Elijah Blake, Roy Woods, and more. SLMN also has projects of his own, having released his debut EP, Late Bloomer, in April of 2020. The project garnered over 5 million streams and was even featured as the banner for the R&B section for Apple Music Canada.

When asked about what the future holds for him, SLMN shared that he has a single that will be released soon with Kvn Rose, a new artist he is developing, titled “Where Did You Go.” The track is set to release ahead of his next EP with Rose performing all of the songs.

He also teased that he has some major placements on the way but afraid of jinxing them by revealing too soon, keeps the details of those close to his chest.  When asked what he hopes that listeners take away from his music he leaves us with this: “I hope fans can dig deep within themselves when listening to my music if they resonate. If not, I hope they just enjoy the sounds.”

Nocturnal Strives To Impress With Upcoming Project ‘She Needs Me’

With his next record, She Needs MeNocturnal, a New Haven, Connecticut-based musician, wants to take the music world by storm. His sensitive lyrics, greatly influenced by rap’s conscious East Coast style, are packed with agony and vulnerability. Nocturnal’s journey began when a close friend encouraged him to pursue music, and he now produces a real environment that quickly draws listeners into his universe.

“One of my closest friends died in a drunk driving accident. He was the one who constantly encouraged me to pursue a career in music. Following his death, I resolved to pursue music professionally and dedicate my career to him.”

Following his previous releases Holdin Onto Hope and Therapy Through an LP, She Needs Me will be Nocturnal’s third project. As Nocturnal wraps off his latest project, he explains how She Needs Me is a double entendre, with the term “She” having two separate meanings.

“The initial reading is that “She” (hip-hop) requires my assistance in saving the game from extinction. I talk about the struggles of breaking into the profession and the sacrifices I make throughout the endeavor.” Nocturnal was still going strong. “The second interpretation of “She” is inspired by a horrible breakup and relates to my ex-girlfriend. This endeavor is an open book and a tale of how I overcame my issues in the sake of hip hop.”

She Needs Me, according to Nocturnal, is a project that will stand out from the crowd. “On this project, I’m being my most vulnerable self for the fans who are going through the same anguish as me but don’t have a platform to express it.”

Nocturnal provides an updated backpack, boom-bap sound with a blend of the soul into every song he releases, using music as a means of healing. Transparency and being influenced by musicians like Tupac Shakur, Eminem, Jay-Z, J.Cole, and Kanye West will ensure that his music has a long shelf life as it resonates with audiences.

Nocturnal, who is now living in Los Angeles, is preparing for the release of his first album, She Needs Me, as well as his upcoming EP with rapper The Game, which is set to drop later this year. To stay up to know with new projects, follow Nocturnal on IG!
