Blac Chyna Drops New Single ‘Can’t See Me’

Hip-Hop personality and rapper Blac Chyna has dropped a new single, “Can’t See Me,” and many think she is taking shots at the Kardashians.

The music video dropped this week on YouTube and features Kardashian-adjacent in a familiar role as a stripper, wearing a green bodysuit and later donning a yellow wig and pink sock-it-to-me dress.

What makes the video creative is her nod to the 1970s blaxploitation film era, lip-syncing classic lines from Isaac Hayes’ movie “Truck Turner,” as said by Nichelle Nichols, “I got important business out there to take care of, and when I call you, I want you to come out there and shake your a**es proper.”

Important business? Many believe she is talking about bringing down the Kardashian brood, who she blames for ruining her financial life, a claim a judge rejected.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, the former King of Diamond headliner has been in conflict with The Kardashian family ever since she broke up with Rob.

Recently, she filed a defamation case against the famous family and loss.

In “Can’t See Me,” she raps, “Since you can’t f**k with me, that’s incest, couple commas on the check that’s no stress.”

The dropping of the song comes days after her “revenge p###” lawsuit against her child’s father, Rob Kardashian, was settled. According to sources, the two felt it was in the best interest of Dream, their 5-year-old daughter, to fall back.

Now, she is focusing on the music and wondering if fans will check for it.

No Savage Turns Himself In For DC Tyson Center Shooting

Rapper No Savage, the Washington D.C. rapper who was wanted by police for shooting at a shopping center, has turned himself in and is now in custody.

No Savage, whose real name is Noah Settles, is now in the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, according to a tweet on Wednesday, June 22nd.

The caption said it all, “This evening, Noah Settles turned himself in at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, No Savage was on the run after being linked to a shooting on Saturday afternoon in a Fairfax County mall.

The artist allegedly got into an argument with a group at the Tyson Corner Center on 1961 Chain Bridge Rd in Tyson, VA, on Saturday, June 18th.

He then flashed his gun and shot wildly into the shopping center, causing people to run and seek safe shelter around 2:45 p.m.

No Savage then ran for cover.

No Savage has been charged with attempted malicious wounding and three counts of discharging a weapon into an occupied building. He has also been charged with the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Court records say his preliminary hearing is set for August 15th, scheduled after his Thursday, June 23rd arraignment hearing.

Police Chief Kevin Davis from the Fairfax County Police Department said during the news brief, “The age-old question is ‘Why are they in this altercation?'”

“I don’t know. I don’t know,” Chief Kevin Davis says. “It speaks to human nature. It speaks to the dynamics of belonging to a crew. They’re largely the 37th St crew members on this particular Saturday. [They] were dressed in black, and the Simple City Guys were dressed in white.”

“They probably know each other. They do know each other. We know they know each other and what starts as a look or a gesture or smirk or an eye roll turns into a verbal altercation,” Chief Kevin Davis continues to explain. “And then words turn into pushing and shoving. If it stopped there, that wouldn’t be ideal, but if it stopped there, that would be a heck of a lot better than an altercation like this, ending with gunfire.

“But that’s where we are. They were armed, at least Noah Settles was armed. We know Noah Settles was armed and you can see the still picture.”

The officer noted that the mall made a “big public safety investment with cameras,” which allowed them to capture No Savage with the gun and when he shot it. It also caught him in a black Cadillac leaving the mall.

The chief said he doesn’t know why this is all happening, saying, “I can’t speak necessarily or at least intelligently about the nature of this conflict, other than its young men with a lot of anger and other societal issues that contribute to where they are in life.”

“It’s not always their fault, but they’re armed all too often and unfortunately, in this particular case and elsewhere, resorting to firearms to settle a petty dispute.”

Singer-Songwriter Deana Fai: An Inspiring Artist Success Story

DeAna Fai is a musician without boundaries. She’s both a singer and songwriter. She works in the music business as an entrepreneur. Her kindness has benefited many individuals in need. As an adolescent, DeAna Fai was intensely interested in music and the arts. This prompted her to pursue a career as an entertainer.

“Music is my unborn child.,” she says. “I nourish my craft, and I protect my dream.”

Early Musical Journey

DeAna Fai’s musical journey has been an interesting one. She started off singing in her church’s choir. This eventually led to her forming a group with her sister called “The Faison Sisters.” This eventually piqued the attention of a representative from the Healthy Families Partnership, who included DeAna Fai, her sister, and other kids on “Sing A Song For Love,” which aired worldwide for the organization as a signature song. DeAna Fai carried on and began composing original songs with her church choir.

While in high school, DeAna Fai was asked to create a song for “The City Of Hope” to perform during an outside charity event at a local Office Depot store, and she obliged. She sang “City of Hope” as a support instrument for youngsters with cancer, which was eventually broadcast live on Radio Disney.

Music Career

While at Norfolk State University, DeAna Fai began working with some interns and her song “Grown Woman” hit local radio stations WNSB Hot 91.1 and WOWI 103 Jamz in the Hampton Roads area in Virginia. It was also during this time that she connected with Thomas Taliaferro, a music producer who then had hit records with Michael Jackson, Bobby Brown, Blackstreet, and more.

DeAna Fai was then able to discover other important aspects of song production and the music business. She also acknowledges Rogers Brown, a former college music professor, who became a trusted source for music business-related information.

DeAna Fai Meets Heavy D

DeAna Fai was personally invited by the legendary Heavy D and J.F. Bey, the former Bad Boy Entertainment Engineer, to join the writing team for Heavy’s album “Love Opus” in 2011. The opportunity may have not been a placement on the album, but DeAna Fai assured me that it helped her focus more on different approaches to establishing herself in the entertainment industry as an artist.

While pursuing this, she was able to still submit records for possible placements for other artists associated with Bad Boy Entertainment thanks to Heavy D, J.F. Bey, and Hughes Felizor, former Bad Boy Entertainment A&R Coordinator.

DeAna Fai eventually created “Oxymoron Music Entertainment LLC” in April 2014. She eventually obtained several placements in films without managerial or agency representation. In 2015, she recorded a song titled “Breathe” for her first Hollywood Feature Film and romantic comedy titled “My Favorite Five” thanks to film director Paul Hannah.

In later years, additional film soundtrack appearances were made, including “Hey Mr. Postman!”, “Perfectly Single” and “Puzzled.” On the Fox TV series “Empire,” DeAna Fai played an upscale bar patron. She was chosen to appear on a program hosted by Loni Love after performing the version of “Listen” by Beyonce in 2020. The program titled “Loni Love’s Quarantine Talent Show” had between 50,000 to 100,000 viewers.

DeAna Fai started a podcast in 2021, titled “DeAna Fai presents Kings and Queens of Entertainment,” during which the celebrities shared their journey and more, on panels they were scheduled and blindly placed on. This also created a space for the entertainers to directly connect with each other and their fans on a fun and serious level. The first season of this podcast had over 60 entertainers, namely, actors, actresses, artists, music and film producers, comedians, etc. within the 12 episodes. Some celebrities that participated were Courtney Nichole, Makeba Woods, Larry Sims, DJ Babey Drew, Sharaya J, DJ Wayne Williams, Conroe Brooks, Angela White, Dr. Chanita Foster, Stevie Edwards, and James Worthy, etc.

Following the final episode of Season 1’s podcast, “DeAna Fai presents Kings and Queens of Entertainment Reunion Recap & Giveback” began production and is now in post-production. It mimics the podcast, except that it is a video version utilized to raise awareness for 2 foundations for the season finale. The two foundations include “The National Breast Cancer Foundation” and the “American Stroke Association.” There were 25 celebrities that came back to participate on this show, also including two others that weren’t originally on the podcasts.

The list includes Erica Hubbard, Tony Dofat, D-Teck, Rodney Perry, Lady Luck, Erika Ringor, Tyrell Crawford, Rebecca King Crews, Brandon Broady, Claudia Jordan, Candace Wakefield, Stevie Boi, Dunlap Exclusive, Tehran Von Ghasri, Rosemary Rodriguez, Melvin Jackson Jr., Rob Gordon, Sprague, TT The Artist, Jackie’s Boy, Kenneth Okolie, Kenya Brown, Rayshun LaMarr, DJ Pryor, Carrie Bernans, Hannon Lane, and Angelique Bates. DeAna Fai is looking to host a red carpet premiere in the coming months.

DeAna Fai is an artist who has found success in many different aspects of the music industry. From her early days singing in her church choir, creating original songs, and performing on television and in films, Fai has demonstrated her versatility and talent. In addition to her success as an artist, Fai is also a generous philanthropist, helping people through her charitable work.

Timpmo: Next Up From Birmingham, Alabama to take the Rap World By Storm

It requires a great deal of tenacity to work in a creative or artistic field, and the music industry is no exception. All suffer setbacks from time to time, be it as musicians, managers, agents, or promoters. Many give up and few make it through. A key to achieving your goals is to learn how to deal with disappointment and keep moving forward.

Timothy D’evon Daniels better known as Timpmo is one who tops the field of endurance. He is an American Rapper and Vocalist originally born in Birmingham, Alabama. During his early days, he had to navigate the tough streets of the state. The situation for an emerging artist was not always the same. However, he remained steadfast in the face of obstacles.

Having always been fascinated with music, the artist felt compelled to make a positive impact on the industry through his work. The Timpmo started admiring and following popular artists of the era at a very young age. He eventually recorded his own songs. Sadly, his luck turned against him and let him see the negative side of things.

But, what he is best known for is that he never gave up and he polished his skills to no end to make the most of his abilities. I am sure you will be more than surprised to know Timpmo has just released a new documentary titled (Relentless) which is a warmup for Timpmo’s new album that will be dropped on 4th July, titled “Timothy D’Evon Daniels”.”.

As one of the savviest critics, he is narrating a story about a young king battling and ultimately beating the odds despite difficulties and relationships. Throughout the album, he discusses childhood adversity, striving for greatness, strategizing his goals, and navigating the struggles of being a young black man in a culture that is unwelcoming to him.

A total of 12 tracks will be featured on the album, including tracks by thxfortheslapali,Caseyproduced, p###. trizzy, Dillygotitbumpin, 808visiousbeats, OptiVision, Trapteambeats, sbp.p###, rickkomero,  Iam10faces, 1selfdeep, kbndaproducer, and Ay29areyoumad. Timpmo intends to chart this album on the Billboards with your help and the label he oversees. This will be his fifth record.

The label he founded, Built2last, was launched in 2014, and it’s worked with many top-notch A&R and DJs, which has made him successful in this industry and with this project. Make sure you keep an eye on the blaze. In comparison with the others, this album has a greater sense of maturity and development. Timpmo writes, “I can speak with peace and vindication, accepting my own imperfections, looking at my insecurities, and still making the most of every moment of life”. And that is what the sign of a person of influence is.

There’s a good chance this album and Documentary will turn into the Bible for the streets and around the globe. Do you want to be a part of it? Chris Brown: There’s Scarcity Of Confident Males In R&B

As he embarks on the “One Of Them Ones” tour with Lil Baby and prepares to release his Breezy album on June 24, Chris Brown continues to sit down with several media outlets.

The Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast conducted one of Chris Brown’s latest interviews. The show’s hosts, Gillie Da King and Wallo267, spoke to the music superstar about the current state of R&B music.

“[R&B is] obsolete in the fact of it being primary,” Chris Brown told Wallo and Gillie. “Meaning, you used to listen to the radio and they had an R&B Day or you had a [R&B] section.”

The 33-year-old Virginia native also added, “Not to take anything away, Hip Hop has just been dominating s###. A n#### can’t hate on Hip Hop. I’m a part of it, so, I love it. Let all the Hip Hop be heard.”

Chris Brown Talks R&B Singers Being “Introverted” Or “Emo”

After commenting on Hip Hop, Chris Brown then turned his attention back to his main genre. The seventeen-year music industry veteran concluded that R&B is missing certain elements at the moment.

“Not to sound lame when I say this, it’s really no more artistry left in that type of showmanship lane,” said Chris Brown. “A lot of the R&B people have to go introverted or look like they’re emo.”

The RCA recording artist continued, “If they’re not that, people will give them the Neo Soul-type of genre. It won’t just be R&B. I don’t feel that’s right. But I feel like there’s a scarcity of confident males that can sing.”

Chris Brown’s forthcoming Breezy studio LP will include contributions by fellow male R&B/Hip Hop performers Anderson .Paak, Tory Lanez, Bryson Tiller, Blxst, Yung Bleu, and Capella Grey. The project also features Lil Wayne, Lil Baby, H.E.R., EST Gee, Wizkid, Jack Harlow, Fivio Foreign, Ella Mai, and Lil Durk.

Snoop Dogg Reacts To Impersonator At NFT Event

The NFT.NYC conference took place in New York City’s Marriott Marquis from June 20 to June 23. The biggest talking point from the event revolved around someone pretending to be Hip Hop icon, Snoop Dogg.

NBC News reporter Kevin Collier covered the 4th annual NFT industry event. According to the outlet, a bodyguard accompanied someone resembling Snoop Dogg at NFT.NYC.

“I’m at the NFT.NYC conference again in Times Square, and Snoop walked by, flanked by security. I grabbed his handler, said I’m a reporter, would love a few minutes. The guy said actually that’s an impersonator, legally can’t say it’s him, they hired him to drum up excitement,” tweeted Kevin Collier.

Apparently, an NFT company brought the Snoop Dogg impersonator to the convention. The fake Doggfather also reportedly wore an official conference badge that read “Doop Snogg.”

The real Snoop Dogg became aware of the man who pretended to be him at the so-called “Super Bowl of NFTs.” He hopped on social media to react to the online conversation about the poser showing up in New York City.

Snoop Dogg quote-tweeted Kevin Collier’s Twitter post about the phony Snoop at NFT.NYC. The “What’s My Name?” hitmaker only wrote two words in response to the story, “Doop Snogg.” Last year, the West Coast representative claimed to be the popular NFT Twitter account @CozomoMedici (260,000 followers).

Justin Timberlake Apologizes For Butchering Beat Ya Feet Dance

Justin Timberlake is one of the most successful music artists of the last two decades. However, the former NSYNC boy band member regularly faced accusations of appropriating Black culture.

During his set at this year’s Something In The Water festival in DC, Justin Timberlake attempted to do the local dance known as Beat Ya Feet. Footage of JT’s moves went viral, and many people cringed at the clip.

Justin Timberlake decided to apologize for his Beat Ya Feet performance at the Pharrell Williams-curated event. The 41-year-old singer/actor posted a mea culpa video on his Instagram Story on Wednesday.

“DC, I want to apologize to you for two reasons: here and here,” said Justin Timberlake as he panned his camera down towards his feet. “I had a long talk with both of them, individually, and said, ‘Don’t you ever do that to me again.'”

The 10-time Grammy winner also added, “Maybe it was the khakis. It was a real khakis vibe. I’m gonna make this up to you. I’m gonna focus on these two guys right here, and get them right. Love y’all.”

Justin Timberlake Tried To Incorporate Go-Go Culture Into His SITW Set

Beat Ya Feet is closely associated with Go-Go, the music genre created by African-Americans in the DC area. “The Godfather of Go-Go” Chuck Brown helped popularized that homegrown sound in the 1970s and 1980s.

Washington, DC mayor Muriel Bowser even commented on Justin Timberlake’s poorly received Beat Ya Feet effort. Bowser tweeted, “Should I consider a mayoral pardon of @jtimberlake? And then for his shot at redemption, we would need @Pharrell to bring #SITWFest back.”

Pharrell Williams’s Something In The Water festival took place on June 17-19. In addition to Justin Timberlake, the showcase’s lineup also featured Clipse, N.O.R.E., 21 Savage, 6lack, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Ashanti & Ja Rule, Backyard Band, Bia, Blxst, Chloe x Halle, Denzel Curry, EarthGang, and more.

Rubi Rose Shows Love To Lil Tjay Following New Jersey Shooting

Two years ago, there was speculation circulating about Tione Jayden “Lil Tjay” Merritt and Rubi Rose possibly being in a relationship. After the two rappers got into a heated online spat, they appeared to have reconciled earlier this year.

Unfortunate news broke this week about Lil Tjay. A shooter fired multiple times at the Bronx native during an attempted robbery near a shopping center in Edgewater, New Jersey. Tjay reportedly underwent emergency surgery.

Rubi Rose took to Twitter to show love to the 21-year-old Destined 2 Win album creator. On Wednesday morning, Rose simply tweeted, “Pray for Tjay 🤍.”

According to reports, a gunman shot Lil Tjay outside of a Chipotle restaurant. Authorities also identified a second victim named Vic Antoine Boyd. Police arrested Mohamed Konate, 27, on three first-degree attempted murder charges and other offenses.

Before the violent incident in New Jersey, Lil Tjay released “In My Head,” “Lavish (Freestyle),” and “Goin Up” in 2022. Those records followed Tjay’s 2x-Platinum-certified “Calling My Phone” with 6lack from last year.

Rubi Rose dropped her debut mixtape, For the Streets, in December 2020. Prior to that release, the former Georgia State University student gained international attention because of a cameo in Cardi B’s “WAP” music video featuring Megan Thee Stallion.

Wrongful Death Suit Against Suge Knight Ends In Mistrial

A Los Angeles Supreme Court judge declared a mistrial on Wednesday (Jun. 22) in the wrongful death lawsuit against Suge Knight in connection with the death of Terry Carter.

The family of the victim filed suit in 2015 after Terry Carter was killed during the filming of N.W.A biopic “Straight Outta Compton.” Suge Knight ran Carter over with his vehicle following a dispute, killing him. He pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter in connection with the death.

The jury began deliberating on June 14 but deadlocked on Wednesday, the LA Times reported. Within 30 minutes of meeting, the jury deadlocked at 7-5 in favor of Carter, short of the nine votes required.

“The Court and Counsel confer regarding declaring a mistrial. Both sides agree that a mistrial should be declared,” court records said.

The Hip-Hop mogul argued with Terry Carter in the parking lot of Tam’s Burgers in Compton. Suge then revered his pick-up into Carter, knocking him down before striking him again with the vehicle as he drove off. During the trial, Suge Knight testified he “feared for his life” and was acting in self-defense.

Suge Knight was convicted of killing Carter after pleading no contest in 2018. He was sentenced to 28 years in prison. Carter’s widow filed the wrongful death lawsuit against Knight in an attempt to hold him civilly liable for the killing. The family called for Suge Knight to pay $81 million at a court hearing last week.

Lil Tjay Alleged Shooter Arrested With Two Others; Rapper Remains Hospitalized

Cops have arrested three men after Lil Tjay was shot in Edgewater, NJ, shortly after midnight on Wednesday (Jun. 22).

According to TMZ, the three suspects, one of whom cops believe is the shooter, have been taken into custody. Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office issued a release claiming Mohamed Konate attempted to commit an armed robbery against Lil Tjay and two other men.

Law enforcement alleges Konate shot Tjay multiple times while one of his friends was shot once. The identity of the second victim remains unknown.

Konate has been charged with three counts of first-degree attempted murder. They also detained the two men who were with Lil Tjay during the incident. They were arrested for second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.

Lil Tjay was rushed to hospital following the shooting, where he remains after undergoing emergency surgery. The extent of his injuries has not been revealed.

Tjay was reportedly shot at a Chipotle restaurant, while the other victim was shot at a nearby Exxon Gas station. While the rapper was shot multiple times, the second victim was allegedly shot once.

Lil Tjay spoke about envy on his Instagram Stories. “Just because you’ve been around a person doesn’t make you entitled to the fruits of that persons labor,” read a quote he posted. “Envy is at an all time high,” the rapper added. “Be safe outchea.”

Lil Nas X Takes A Dump & Is “Late To Da Party” With NBA YoungBoy

Lil Nas X continued to promote his NBA YoungBoy-assisted single “Late to Da Party” in over-the-top ways.

The Columbia Records artist posted photos of himself on the toilet on Instagram. Lil Nas X shared the pictures to publicize his NBA YoungBoy collab, which drops on Friday (June 24).

Lil Nas X previously teased the single with mock promos featuring Chick-Fil-A, McDonald’s and other companies. His campaign even included a fake BET Awards ad after he didn’t receive any nominations for the 2022 BET Awards.

Earlier this month, Lil Nas X suggested the BET snub was evidence of homophobia in the Black community. BET issued a statement in response to his criticism.

“We love Lil Nas X,” the network said. “He was nominated for a best new artist BET Award in 2020 and we proudly showcased his extraordinary talent and creativity on the show twice. Unfortunately, this year, he was not nominated by BET’s Voting Academy, which is comprised of an esteemed group of nearly 500 entertainment professionals in the fields of music, television, film, digital marketing, sports journalism, public relations, influencers and creative arts.”

BET added, “No one from BET serves as a member of the Voting Academy. At BET, we are passionate advocates for the wonderful diversity that exists within our community. We are committed to using all of our platforms to provide visibility and inclusion for all of the many intersections of the Black community.”

Frenchie, Who Helped Discover Nicki Minaj, Convicted Of Burglary

Frenchie, a former affiliate of Gucci Mane, was convicted for his role in a home invasion.

According to FOX 5 New York, Frenchie was convicted of three counts of first-degree burglary and one count of second-degree burglary. The 37-year-old rapper faces up to 25 years in prison.

Frenchie, whose real name is Gregg Hogan, was one of seven men who invaded a home in Shirley, New York in May 2021. Authorities said the suspects broke into the house based on incorrect intel that $100,000 worth of marijuana was inside.

An autistic teen and his parents were sleeping when the suspects broke into their home. The burglars reportedly held the victims at gunpoint while searching the house.

One of the burglars pistol-whipped the 18-year-old son when he didn’t respond quickly enough to orders. The attack left lacerations on his face.

The burglars were only able to steal a bit of money and an iPhone. Police said Frenchie participated in the home invasion and served as the crew’s getaway driver.

Frenchie was one of four men charged for their involvement in the crime. Donte Thomas, 24, was sentenced to nine years in prison. Brayan Medrano, 19, is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to one count of second-degree attempted burglary.

Miguel Ruiz, 29, was apprehended after fleeing to Florida. Authorities haven’t caught the rest of the suspects.

Frenchie is perhaps best known for helping Nicki Minaj in the early stages of her career. He introduced the Hip Hop star to her former manager Debra Antney, who is Frenchie’s aunt and Waka Flocka’s mother.

New Tupac Doc Looks At Unseen Pictures To Tell Untold Stories About His Life

Another documentary on the life of rapper Tupac Shakur is set to debut in July as part of a six-part BBC docu-series called “A Life in 10 Pictures.”

The show aims to unlock “the stories of extraordinary lives, whose images are known around the world, with revealing insight from just ten pictures — from iconic shots to private snaps.”

The photographers of the pictures in “A Life in 10 Pictures” discuss what they saw behind the lens and the environment in which they were snapped.

One person holding an old picture of Tupac rapping on the mic in front of a group of kids on a stoop said, “He was a true live performer.”

Another person added, “He was feared. He was loved. He really connected with people.”

As she unpacked an image from Tupac in high school, a teacher explained he would rap, and her jaw would “drop to the floor.”

In another promo pic for what seems to be an “All-American student,” she says, “I think what you see in this picture is definitely not what his reality was.”

As the 1:43 sizzle reel culminates, one of the most powerful statements ever about a rapper is uttered: “Some artists are famous for their music, and some are famous for what they stand for and who they are.”

Tupac, as fans all know, was a combination of the two.

The “A Life in 10 Pictures” series includes Freddie Mercury, actress Elizabeth Taylor, boxer Muhammad Ali, musician/activist John Lennon, and singer Amy Winehouse.

Tupac’s episode airs on Friday, July 1st, on the Crackle streaming service.
