Travis Scott’s Cacti Brand Accused Of Misleading Customers In Proposed Class-Action Lawsuit Over Labeling

Travis Scott’s Cacti brand of spiked seltzer with Anheuser-Busch has landed the beverage giant and hot water.

A disgruntled fan is filing a class-action lawsuit against Anheuser-Busch over the product’s labeling, which the woman says is misleading.

Rebecca Read has issues with Cacti’s claims that the product is “made with 100% Blue Agave from Mexico.”

Read says she bought Cacti in June and July of 2021, thinking it would contain agave spirits because it is labeled as “Agave Spiked Seltzer.”

She was disappointed to learn that the product was an “agave sweetener” and not the real thing.

Read said she chose to purchase Cacti, even though it was more expensive than other spiked seltzer water on the shelves, because she assumed she was getting the real thing – a sliver of Blue Agave – which is used to make tequila.

As a result, Read claims she was beaten out of her money because the product was worth less than what she would have paid if Cacti did not make false and misleading statements about the spiked seltzer.

Travis Scott Cacti Class Action Lawsuit

For the uninitiated, agave is a plant native to arid and semi-arid regions of the Americas, particularly Mexico.

The Weber Blue Agave plant is the base for making tequila. The popularity of the drink has skyrocketed in the United States in recent years. Consumption in the U.S. has risen by more than 30% between 2015 and 2020.

As such, demand for 100% Blue Agave plant products has exploded. Agave-based spirits are the third-largest spirits category in the U.S., following vodka and whiskey.

According to Rebecca Read, state and federal relation regulations require the front label of Cacti to identify the product as something other than “Agave Spiked Seltzer.”

“The Product lacks any Agave spirits and instead uses ‘Agave syrup,’ a sweetener derived from the Agave plant, as shown in the fine print ingredient list on the back of the Product,” according to Read’s complaint. “Defendant sold more of the Product and at higher prices than it would have in the absence of this misconduct, resulting in additional profits at the expense of consumers. Had Plaintiff and proposed class members known the truth, they would not have bought the Product or would have paid less for it.”

Rebecca Read and her lawyers are hoping to have her complaint certified as a class-action lawsuit, since Cacti has been sold to consumers nationwide.

Rebecca Read is being represented by Spencer Sheehan of Sheehan & Associates, P.C. in Great Neck, New York.

Spotemgottem Was Allegedly Driving A Stolen Car Owned By A YouTuber When Shot!

Spotemgottem has garnered the attention of many in recent weeks, and I don’t mean because of his hits on TikTok! A YouTuber recently inserted himself in the life of the controversial rapper, making a startling claim: “Spotemgottem was driving his car when he was shot and almost killed!” The YouTuber put it on…YouTube!

According to the video, the man’s car was stolen for several months and he put an alert out on it. When he did it was apparently after Spotemgottem was shot. The car had a new paint job and a new (fake) VIN number, but apparently, he retrieved it. Also: he still wanted it. Maybe he found it could be valuable at some point since dude is infamous. I personally would not want a car riddled with bullets. People may come for you next!

I have never heard of Trap Shawn, but I think he should be concerned a little more. He already got paid from insurance. Maybe he wanted to know for another “reason.” Also, why would a rapper like Spotemgottem be riding around in a stolen car? Maybe he didn’t know?

By the way, the rapper is recovering from the murder attempt.

Let me…leave it alone.

Have Zombies Made Times Square, New York Into “The Walking Dead”?

New York, New York – Big City Of…Zombies?

A recent report from the New York Post, a conservative gossip rag with a penchant for flip-flopping, rings the alarm once again. They are saying that mid-town Manhattan is now looking more like “The Walking Dead” than one of the biggest tourist attractions in the world. They are saying that drug dealers are basically operating in an open market like “The Wire,” when they gave the dealers a full pass in a section of Baltimore. But, this is Times Square. They are claiming that the area that has Madison Square Garden, countless shops and corporations also houses zombie-like drug addicts. Really? Where are all those coppers?

Here is what they are saying over there:

City of the Walking Dead:’ Junkies shoot up in broad daylight in Midtown NYC

Drug dealers appear to operate fearlessly on the block. A group of men, one of them sitting on a blue Citibike, gathered outside the A-C-E subway entrance on the northeast corner of Eighth and 35th, exchanging cash and other items as straphangers raced by them up and down the stairs.

Another deal went down as two men exchanged cash and small plastic bags on 36th Street.

The NYPD appears to have only a token presence. Two cops stood on Eighth Avenue between 35th and 36th, leaning up against a police van while staring into their phones, as illicit activities swirled around them.

But cops have been “effectively ordered” by city and state leaders to let junkies roam free, said Manny Gomez, a former NYPD sergeant and FBI special agent who now heads MG Security Services.

New York Post

I wonder why would this be the case when it is a clear and present threat to tourism and general public safety? The Gomez dude said cops – who are of the “protect & serve” variety “could lose their pension, their job, their home or even their freedom. It’s just not worth it.” Realllllllllllly? They are COPS. They are truly disrespecting the badge if this is the case. However, remember what I said. The Post is essentially a tool of propaghanda and those that I know do not claim it to be this bad. Yes, its worse…we are in a pandemic where millions have been adversely affected by Covid-19 and beyond. I think they are INTENTIONALLY looking past things like the disease of “addiction,” mental health and poverty, which are the true culprits here. For cops to essentially NOT WORK, combined with this alarmist headline is a dog whistle to the base….MORE. More money, more cops, more freedom to do whatever.

And IF you read the article further down – just as I expected – there is an attack on Mayor Bill de Blasio and his administration inside of it.

Anyway…what do you think?

URL’s SM11… Surf Is Back, NY And Philly Make A Classic & “Drake Card” Announcements

Ultimate Rap League’s marquee event, Summer Madness 11 went down last night In Houston Texas.

The night was said to have the largest live ever battle rap crowd, with almost three thousand fans packing the Bayou Music Centre.

The card was stacked with some of the brightest talent URL has to offer across the tiers. Top of the show was the Ultimate Madness 4 tournament final and headlining was one of the longest awaited matchups at 20 years in the making; the legacy battle between Harlem’s Murda Mook vs. Philly’s Reed Dollaz.

RealNameBrandon vs. MVP

Kicking off the night was the championship match between RealNameBrandon, the rapper from Pasadena, CA, and St Louis MI’s MVP. The stage was a very different setting than the Caffeine studio the two have been battling in throughout the tournament. And all eyes were on how they would cope under the pressure of the Big Stage.

MVP started first and had his strongest round of the battle, punching solidly and drawing a decent crowd reaction, looking comfortable on the stage.

RealNameBrandon stepped out and immediately, a URL STAR was born, his commanding presence and booming vocal projection winning over the crowd instantly.

His performance was more suited to the big stage, getting to the punch quickly, and often he heated up every round whereas MVP didn’t adapt his material as well and lost steam as he went on. Brandon has a risky angle in the third, opening the round with a tribute to his deceased grandmother but he executed it well, the crowd chanting “3-0″ before he completed his round. All four judges gave the decision to RNB.

Arsonal vs. Lu Castro

Next up was veteran Arsonal from New Jersey, the highest viewed battle rapper in the world, versus the emerging talent from the Bronx, Lu Castro. Arsonal kicked off the battle using Lu’s “Hey Big Dawg” slogan against him and had a fire start to the round.

Lu came out in the first all guns blazing, his energy high commanding the stage and generating a big response from the crowd. Arsonal had his best round of the battle in the second, with some really nice rapping, performing aggressively. He also was extremely physical this round. Just as Lu dared him in his first round to bump him, the King of Disrespect got busy bumping the New Era representative and proving that “Big Dawg” talk only matters when followed by “Big Dawg” action. Still many thought that the vet wasn’t saying anything and that was something Lu highlighted in his second.

https://twitter.com/AllThingsBRC/status/1441876806471196672?s=20

Many had the battle tied at 1-1 going into the third. Lu saved his best round of the battle for the third and brought out all his slogans and used humor really effectively. He wasn’t going to let Arsonal’s size advantage get the better of him, shoulder bumping him and shaking the building.

One of Lu’s biggest moments of the battle was a spontaneous one, reacting to Arsonal pulling his phone out to make a video, showing how comfortable he was in front of the nearly 3,000 strong crowd.

https://twitter.com/AllThingsBRC/status/1441880798756487168?s=20

Eazy The Block Captain vs. Chess

Spoiler alert! It was a classic.

Eazy vs Chess was one of the most anticipated battles on the card with many calling it a “Battle of The Night” contender in their predictions. URL league-owner, Smack himself said that this was the one he’d been waiting for.

https://twitter.com/AllThingsBRC/status/1441884265902268418?s=20

This one did not disappoint. AT ALL. The word classic is often thrown around way too soon. However, this truly fits the bill. Everything you could want from these two was manifested in this close back and forth display. As well as being “BOTN,” is a real contender for “Battle of the Year.”

https://twitter.com/isthismike_p/status/1441893322482618373?s=20

Chess started first and instantly snatched the crowd. He raised the energy in the room using only his slogans which the audience shouted along with him (all four of them) before finishing with a punch.

The Bronx rapper had the crowd captivated all round with his incredible writing, delivery, and performance.

https://twitter.com/AllThingsBRC/status/1441887103911038977?s=20
https://twitter.com/AllThingsBRC/status/1441885010756132867?s=20

Philly native Eazy the Block Captain started strong, winning the crowd early on, leaving them hanging onto every word.

https://twitter.com/AllThingsBRC/status/1441889940594253826?s=20

He proved he was built for the big stage. This top-notch performance abandoned any questions about him being ready for the live crowd. Eazy matched Chess’s hunger, passion, and intensity.

https://twitter.com/AllThingsBRC/status/1441888000737218562?s=20

By the end of the first round, it was clear what sort of battle we were getting. Many battles fail to deliver in three rounds what these guys did in one.

If the first round was tough to call, the second was a little clearer. Chess had a slight drop in energy from the first although the writing was still on top form producing some of the wittiest lines you’re likely to hear.

https://twitter.com/AllThingsBRC/status/1441892949504061445?s=20

Eazy left earth in the second, perfect pacing and poise throughout the round, performing like a vet using facial expressions, gestures, and crowd control to ensure his already great material hit home.

The third was a similar story, the two rappers talking to each other giving us pain that we could feel. “Struggle Talk” vs. “The Talk Different,” was a real fight, both battlers leaving with the taste of blood in their mouths.

The only clear winner was the watching audience.

It was clear to all involved, particularly the rappers that a classic was unfolding with both emcees reacting to and feeling the other’s material. As for a winner, like a good classic, this one will be debated for years to come.

Chess’s status as “The Young Gawd” is cemented. Eazy’s stock rose. If you weren’t already paying attention, like Joe Budden, you are now.

Commentators on the night, legends media personality/host Jay Blac and Queens rapper DNA suggesting Goodz Calico and Geechi Gotti as his next possible matchups.

Tsu Surf vs. John John Da Don

Eazy Vs. Chess was a tough act to follow but New Jersey’s Tsunami Surf and Atlanta by way of Yonkers’ John John Da Don were up next and the anticipation was high. The star power heating up in this one with Houston rapper Trae tha Truth doing the coin flip and the “URL Princess,” NuNu Nellz front and center looking ravishing, hair bright red as it should be for Summer Madness!

Look at that Nu Nu Nells (of year, and Trae the Truth)

This was a battle that JJDD had been “chasing” for years. The Bullpen Rap League owner was aiming for one of URL’s stars — one he deemed unworthy for all the accolades he has received. The “What’s Changed” rapper is duly decorated for what people call the “It Factor.” Surf is a legend and his ability as a rapper is unquestioned both inside and outside of the battle rap streets, he also comes with the “If Factor.” “If he gets through his round clean…” “If he doesn’t “Jersey’…” “If he comes with three rounds.”

According to many, Surf is almost unbeatable. But so is JJDD. The six-foot-plus tactician is one of the most surgical writers in the game, a sniper some might say. His plan was to be one of the ones that could claim victory over the braggadocios emcees in this space. That was the plan.

Some plans go awry. This was a case of being careful what you wish for and all of the signs were there. Surf was back in his white tee, signaling a long night for anyone standing in front of him.

John John’s first was solid but not enough for an on-form Surf and the watching audience felt the same.

Surf, like a shark smelling blood in the water, came out and shut it down instantly giving us no doubt that Surf is back!

https://twitter.com/AllThingsBRC/status/1441905980145471490?s=20

John John had a decent second round but it wasn’t enough. He had a nice audience participation section which won over the crowd but it wasn’t a strong JJJD, even his “Multiple Choice” fell a little flat.

It didn’t help JJDD’s cause that Surf had his own “Multiple Choice” flip in the second which hit a lot harder than John John’s.

https://twitter.com/AllThingsBRC/status/1441911102644834306?s=20

Surf took the second round clearly with a succession of back-to-back punches shaking the building. The question was, would he have a third?

https://twitter.com/AllThingsBRC/status/1441911249055490048?s=20

The third was going well for John John although he had lost the crowd by the end of the round, even picking up some light booing from the Houston crowd.

Surf finished the way he started, in style, and by the end of the round he had the crowd chanting “3-0”

https://twitter.com/AllThingsBRC/status/1441914259814764549?s=20

Royce Da 5”9 and Lloyd Banks were tuned in on the night and impressed by Surf, took the time to show some love on Twitter.

Hollow Da Don vs. K-Shine

Heavyweights Hollow Da Don and K-Shine took to the stage next and had good back and forth, although it was not the best showing from either rapper. Shine’s energy was on one hundred as always but he seemed to lack a little weight in his punches.

The crowd was only reacting in places, especially in the last two rounds and much of Shine’s third failed to land in the building.

Hollow ended his third mid-bar basically calling time on himself.

Murda Mook vs. Reed Dollaz

The headline battle came next, though not the last battle of the night, organizers probably not wanting the audience to become too worn out for the nostalgia battle on the card.

Going into it, there were questions as to whether Harlem legend Mook is good on the Big-Stage, and on the first watch, it was not Mook’s finest performance.

https://twitter.com/AllThingsBRC/status/1441935061675282434?s=20
https://twitter.com/PAbillcollector/status/1441930568485249033?s=20

Reed fared better, talking to Mook in the first round engaging the crowd not only with his unmistakable flow and cadence but he also had a “without you” crowd participation segment that landed early on.

The third went the same way as the first two rounds, looking like a clear victory for Philly legend Reed Dollaz although many of Battle Rap Twitter were left underwhelmed by the battle as a whole.

Calicoe vs. Geechi Gotti

Detroit veteran Calicoe and Compton’s Geechi Goot were up next and the audience were counting on them to lift the energy and finish the night on a high.

Both rappers delivered good performances. However, with the appearance of the Landslide frontman, it started to feel like “Summer Madness again.” Calicoe redeemed himself from the two on two with Mook, by rapping-rapping like the fans love him to do. Standing in front of the vet, Geechi Gotti didn’t look the unquestionable “Face of URL.” He looked like someone fighting (hard) for a win.

But that’s the thing, we love the scrappiness of Geechi. We love when he has to tussle for the victory and this demonstration of lyrical brawling gave us a glimpse of the emcee that we love.

https://twitter.com/AllThingsBRC/status/1441950083180900355?s=20

The only round that was clear was the second, Geechi took that with a real talking to him round, angling and punching back-to-back.

Geechi dropped the ball in the third and while he didn’t choke and avoided any dead air, clearly lost track of his round, freestyling in places. He covered it well, showing veteran poise and skill but still left the door open for Cal to come and take the round. Geechi is known for his real talk thirds, and his second tonight seemed more that type time, it looked as though maybe he switched them around.

One person who wasn’t impressed by Gotti’s performance was Iron Solomon.

Cal had a solid second and third rounds and if Geechi took the second, Cal clearly took the third. It is hard to call. Many are calling this the second most debatable battle of the night.

As SM11 came to a close the momentum continued and announcements were made on the night for the much-hyped October events.

“Super Fight” October 9

First up, only two weeks away is the “Super Fight” card headlined by two of the hottest emcees in the ladies’ game, Ms. Hustle and Coffee Brown.

https://twitter.com/Slizzy703/status/1441915463936606217?s=20

The battle should have gone down on the “Heir 2 The Throne” card back in June but had to be rescheduled after Hustle got into a car accident shortly before the event.

When it was first booked, the promotion going into the battle was oh so spicy, fans will have to see if the next two weeks bring more of the same…

“Til Death Do Us Part” October 30

Saving the best for last, the final announcement was one everyone had been waiting for. Although no official word had been given, hints and rumors have been circulating for some time. Everyone was waiting for URL to announce what was being called “The Drake Card,” due to the participation of the biggest rap superstar on the planet. Ultimate Rap League and Drake’s OVO coming together for what is being hailed “the biggest event in battle rap history!”

The first battle to be revealed was Gattas vs. Jaz and sees the return of one of the most talked-about in the women’s game.

The next announcement continued the hype of a potential “best card ever” with the news that Tay Roc and Nu Jerzey Twork would be happening.

Smack said that more announcements would be coming this week and if these ones are anything to go by the line-up is sure to be straight fire…on paper at least!

All of the SM11 battles will be available on the URLTV App.

Florida Cops Arrest One Man In Banquet Hall Mass Shooting After Rap Concert

Florida police have arrested a South Florida man who allegedly was the look lookout for the men who shot up an alleyway outside of a Miami banquet hall in May.

The assault at the El Mula Banquet Hall left three people dead and twenty others injured.

It took months for authorities to nab Davonta Barnes, but they arrested the 22-year-old from Miami Gardens on Thursday night.

Despite Barnes not being a triggerman, the police have charged him with three counts of first-degree murder and 20 counts of attempted murder.

No other arrests have been made.

According to ABC News, the three people who died were Desmond Owens and Clayton Dillard III, both 26, and Shankquia Lechelle Peterson, 32.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, the shooting happened on Sunday, May 30 at El Mula Banquet Hall in Northwest Miami-Dade.

At the time, the cops believed that the shooting was connected to a beef between two rival crews, their rap songs, and social media posts.

Gun violence was rampant in the city in May. Alfredo Ramirez III, the Director of the Miami-Dade County Police Department, said to the press, “These gun-violence-driven murderers, as it has been said eloquently before me, who are targeting individuals and at the same time hitting innocent people who have nothing to do with their beef, ruining families.”

This incident was one of the many shootings in May and June that left residents injured or dead. Ramirez and his team were prompted to stop “Operation Summer Heat” to combat the violence happening in the street.

Jail records state that Barnes is being held without bond and now serves as a precautionary tale for those who think you must be the actual gunman to get hit with murder charges.

For the Cleveland, OH native, leading with empathy is innate; the key aspect of her business. As a minority female in the tech space, Dr. Angel understands obstacles of racism and gender-based challenges that make it hard for someone who looks like her to navigate their way to the top. “Being a black woman in this position, I don’t have a  choice but to be an activist. I accept the responsibility of being an agent of change and  a person who breaks down barriers and fearlessly speaks the truth.”

Netflix Drops Trailer For $30 Million Kanye West Documentary “jeen-yuhs”

A new documentary is set to land on Netflix chronicling the “genius” of rap star Kanye West.

The streaming giant unveiled a first look of the trailer for the doc, which is titled “jeen-yuhs,” during their streaming event “TUDUM: A Netflix Global Fan Event” earlier today (September 25).

“jeen-yuhs” will cover almost three decades of Kanye West’s groundbreaking career, which has been chronicled by noted video directors Coodie Simmons and Chike Ozah aka Coodie and Chike.

The directors have lensed many notable videos together, including Kanye’s “Through the Wire,” “Jesus Walks,” Erykah Badu’s “Window Seat.”

The pair are also behind some notable documentaries, including ESPN’s “30 for 30” “Benji.”

The long-time affiliates of Kanye will tell the rapper’s origin story, starting with his days as an upcoming producer in Chicago, following his trajectory up to the present day as a billionaire.

Back in April, AllHipHop reported that Netflix had forked over $30 million to snag the rights to “jeen-yuhs.”

In the first teaser for “jeen-yuhs” released by Netflix, Kanye is captured chilling backstage with Mos Def in 2002

If nothing else, the clip foreshadows the rap star’s ambition and drive which helped him become one of the most sought-after producers and fashions designers in the world.

A release date for “jeen-yuhs” has yet to be announced, but it’s due to land on Netflix sometime in 2022

Nick Cannon’s Therapist Advises Him To Be Celibate

Nick Cannon is out of control.

Even the “Wild ‘N Out” therapist told him that he needs to fall back from the ladies.

Her clinical advice was prompted by him fathering four children from three different women in the same year.

The father of seven heard The Lord’s first commandment, “Be fruitful and multiple” (Gen 1:28) and was obedient. At least that’s what sounds good to us. Not to his therapist.

According to the 40-year-old comedian, his therapist was concerned about his own well being — after having so many children so swiftly.

He said, “I’m not sitting out here planning it. My therapist says I should be celibate. Okay, give me a break bus. I’m [gonna] take a break from having kids.”

Nick has two 10-year-old twins (Moroccan and Monroe) with R&B history-maker and former wife Mariah Carey.

He also has a four year old son and one almost one with his ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell.

On June 14, he had his second set of twins Zion and Zillion with a woman named Abby De La Rosa and nine days later had a boy named Zen with Alyssa Scott.

Despite this pushback and the backlash from people who think he planted too many Johnny Apple seeds throughout the nation, he says that he always

Others that they have enlisted to join the cast of commentators are Dominique Jackson (she/her), Ian Karmel (he/him), Joel Kim Booster (he/him), Katherine Ryan (she/her), London Hughes (she/her), Mae Martin (they/them), Michelle Buteau (she/her), Nikki Glaser (she/her), Romesh Ranganathan (he/him), Sam Jay (she/her), and Trixie Mattel (she/her).

To make the subject that everyone loves talking about but hates to admit that they do easier to digest, the show has a segment called the A-B-Cs of S-E-X.

This segment will feature a collective of sex-positive puppets that will represent everyone (regardless of their location in the broad sexual spectrum) and break down various topics on the subject. The conversations are said to explore “some of the biggest myths, misconceptions, and experiences when it comes to sex and identity.”

But what is sex positivity, and why is it so difficult to talk about?

According to the BBC, there’s no single, agreed-upon definition.

In a report, writer Jessica Klein submits, “while sex educators, academics, sex workers and pornography directors all tend to agree that the liberal use of the term indicates both taking advantage of a buzzword and a true embrace of its ethos, based on the context, they all have slightly different interpretations of what it means and where it came from. Depending on whom you ask, sex positivity encompasses everything from anti-racism to male nudity in the movies.”

Saweetie is perfect for this role since she is one of the sexiest chicks in the game. Just ask Soulja Boy, who lost his mind looking at pics of her in a bikini earlier this summer.

In January, she filmed episode 3 from the third season of her “The Icy Life” web series with Pornhub.

50 Cent Warns T.I. To Stay Away From Him After Latest Verzuz Challenge

Why did T.I. even call out 50 Cent last week?

So, there is a code to the street that most hood people recognize. “Whatever you say in behind my back, be big and bold enough to say it with your chest when you are in my face.”

At least, that is one of the rules that South Jamaica Queens rapper 50 Cent lives by.

This is why he took to social media to call out T.I. for smiling in his face just days ago at the BMF premiere in Atlanta, when a week prior, he sat on a stage and dissed New York rappers – specifically 50 Cent.

A few weeks ago, T.I. made an appearance on the “Big Facts” podcast, where he discussed his infamous Crime Stoppers commercial, which 50 Cent re-posted in July of 2020, in an attempt to insult the Atlanta rapper.

“When you are fighting the man with no arms, expect to get kicked,” T.I. said. “N##### do what they can … They go with whatever they can to hurt you … what they don’t know is I don’t give a f###. I am at peace. I know who I am. I know what I’ve done … I walk around them m############, with my head up and my chest out … I be by myself most of the time.”

Fif wrote next to a pair of emoji eyes in a comment section, “this was a week ago. This n#### was just telling me about a comedy show he working on backstage. I don’t like all this kind s###, it wouldn’t be a good idea to come around me again respectfully stay away from me.”

If you have the Scooby-Doo face after watching that, it’s probably because you understand where 50 is coming from. Especially, if you have been up on the news.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, T.I. attended the Atlanta BMF screening and once again challenged 50 Cent to a Verzuz. After the BMF showrunner brought Tip out during his set, the “Whatever You Want” rapper said, “50, I’m waiting on you!”

T.I. has been on 50 Cent since July of 2020 and if it seemed like an impossibility back then, it definitely is looking like a no go now.

Rihanna Explains How She Pushed Through The Pandemic And Rediscovered Herself

Rihanna has revealed her ideal sexy night in with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky.

The 33-year-old star has opened up on her relationship with the 32-year-old rapper, and opened up about what she likes from a steamy evening with her man.

Asked about what turns her on, she told E! News’ ‘Daily Pop’: “I like incense, weed, cologne and a little bit of hard work.”

She also responded to the idea of the loved-up couple joining forces for next year’s Super Bowl Halftime show.

She teased: “We’ll see. I mean, the Super Bowl, who isn’t into it?”

Meanwhile, Rihanna admitted she struggled during the pandemic as she found things “tough” mentally.

She told Vogue magazine: “It was tough. Tough for everyone — mentally, especially. The world wasn’t making sense.

“I was able to be still for a long time. Inspiration finally came when I remembered the little things that I love to do, the simple things that make me happy: grocery shopping, taking walks, going on bike rides, cooking.

“Those little things that I’m trying to incorporate into my lifestyle now that the outside is opening up again and we’re about to get right back into what things used to look like. I’m trying to make sure that I still keep those things in my life.”

When it comes to her own self-confidence, Rihanna – who launched her new Savage x Fenty collection last night (September 24) – revealed her secret.

She explained: “I make a point to be present, I look at what’s around me, who is around me.

“And then I’m just grateful for those things; grateful for the moment. I think about how far I’ve come. And how much worse it could be — I could have missed all of this.”

However, there are still days when she doesn’t feel quite so confident, and she has a tip for that too.

She added: “Pretend. Just pretend, girl. You have your days where you do and your days where you don’t, but push through, just be sure. You belong here, you’re sexy. Own your s###.”

Beyonce Writes Heartfelt Letter To Fans Explaining How She Finally Feels “Alive”

Beyonce has finally got around to thanking fans for their 40th birthday wishes in a heartfelt letter posted to her official website.

The singer hit the milestone on September 4 but waited until Thursday (September 23) to address devotees who remembered to send her their best wishes.

“As Virgo Season comes to an end, I hope my fellow Virgos had great birthdays,” she wrote. “I’m so thankful for every inspiring human who took the time to send me all the beautiful messages. I cried tears of joy and was covered in chilly bumps. Your VIDEOS, YOUR POSTS, YOUR countdowns, your playlists and your well wishes, I will cherish forever. I’m grateful to everyone involved, especially, the fans, for the time and level of detail it took to organize such beautiful tributes.”

Bey added: “I admire and respect all of you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. This is the first year that I really understand what it means to be alive and to live in the moment. It’s the first time that I have an understanding of how fragile life truly is, how hard life can be at times, and therefore how important it is to stop and smell the roses during the good times.

“I thought I knew that at 21 or 30… but I didn’t.

“The more mature I become, the more I understand and the deeper my joy grows. There’s a freedom and liberation knowing that I’ve made it to the other side of my sacrifice. I’m finally giving myself permission to enjoy the seeds I’ve worked so hard to plant my whole life.”

Beyonce then turned on people who believe life is over at 40, stating, “This has absolutely been the best I’ve felt in my life. I’m so grateful to be GROWN, GROWN!”

She ended the letter by writing: “Most of y’all met me when I was 15, and we have grown up together. You bring soooo much joy into my life. I hope my art can continue to bring a little joy into yours. I Love You Deep Deep Deep Deep Deep.”

Snoop Dogg Offers Up His Nuts To The Emmy Awards

Snoop Dogg has weighed in on the #Emmyssowhite backlash, slamming the awards ceremony for not giving prizes to any of the actors of color who were nominated.

Despite the late Michael K. Williams and Billy Porter and Mj Rodriguez of “Pose” expected to emerge victorious from the record number of 49 non-white performers nominated for prizes at the annual ceremony, they all missed out on awards.

Instead, all the acting winners – including Kate Winslet, Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Colman – were white, and viewers quickly got the #EmmysSoWhite hashtag trending on social media in response.

Snoop joined in the debate as he shared a collage of many of the Black actors and those of color who were nominated for awards but not winners.

Only three Emmys were given to Black entertainers, including Michaela Coel for Best Writing for a Limited Series for her HBO series “I May Destroy You,” and to RuPaul as his show “RuPaul’s Drag Race” won Outstanding Competition Program.

Meanwhile, multi-hyphenate star Debbie Allen was presented with the Governors Award at the ceremony.

Kelly Price Reportedly Goes Missing After COVID-19 Battle

Kelly Price has reportedly gone missing in Georgia.

According to TMZ, Kelly Price is being listed as a missing person with the National Crime Information Center. Cobb County officials conducted a welfare check at her residence on September 18 and didn’t find her there.

Authorities spoke with the gospel and R&B singer’s boyfriend at her home. They found no evidence of foul play but made the decision to list her as missing.

Kelly Price revealed she was diagnosed with COVID-19 on July 29. Her family members say she was admitted to the hospital a week later and eventually found herself in the ICU as her condition worsened.

The family told TMZ they were in touch with Kelly Price in early August. Her children reportedly visited her at the hospital.

Three weeks after she was hospitalized, Kelly Price’s children received a call saying she’d been discharged. This came as a surprise to them because she wasn’t back to full health.

Price’s family hasn’t heard from her since she was discharged from the hospital. They also claim her boyfriend is keeping family and friends from visiting her home. This worried the family, prompting them to contact the police to conduct the welfare check.

Police have opened an investigation into her disappearance.

Singer Kelly Price Listed As A Missing Person!

Kelly Price, where art thou?!

It all started out as a bit of a joke. I was scrolling on social media when I saw somebody post about Kelly Price. The singer had been diagnosed with Covid and was released from the hospital. However, fans that follow her closely noticed that the singer had not posted anything or made any sort of indication that she was alive and well through her social media. So, the internets began to ask if she was OK. The way it was phrased and positioned was humorous. I thought it was quite funny! However, days later, it is becoming serious.

According to reports the singer is actually missing. She has been formally listed as a missing person after a welfare check was conducted on her home last Saturday. That is nearly one week of officially missing for the famed singer.

As of July 29, she revealed that she was in the hospital and had Covid. She was even in ICU because her condition got really bad. Members of her family told TMZ that they were in touch with the singer when she was in the hospital. Her children visited her while she was in the hospital, but about three weeks afterward, she was discharged. Even though she was out of the doctor’s care, it was said that she was not fully healed. Why leave then?

Now, the family says they have not heard from her in any way or form since that time. Some have alleged that her new boyfriend has been keeping her away from her friends and family. This has concerned them as well.

After the authorities went into her home in Georgia, and found her missing, there is now an active investigation to locate Kelly Price. I think all roads lead to her new boo, but that is me speculating!

At least she is still singing! She will be back!

Eminem Is Bringing “Mom’s Spaghetti” To Downtown Detroit

Eminem is offering up more of “Mom’s Spaghetti” to the city of Detroit.

After selling Mom’s Spaghetti at pop-up spots in previous years, Slim Shady announced the opening of a Mom’s Spaghetti location in Downtown Detroit. The restaurant will offer spaghetti with or without meatballs and a “s’ghetti sandwich.”

Eminem ran a commercial on local Detroit television to unveil his new business. Mom’s Spaghetti will be located at 2131 Woodward Avenue in the alley between The Fillmore and the Union Assembly restaurant.

In addition to Mom’s Spaghetti, Eminem is launching a store called The Trailer at the same location. The Trailer is billed as “a store for stans.”

Mom’s Spaghetti is scheduled to open at 5 p.m. on September 29. Eminem’s commercial for the spot flashed the number (313) 888-8388 for further details.

Eminem originally launched Mom’s Spaghetti as a pop-up at The Shelter music venue in 2017. It is cooked in partnership with Detroit’s Union Joints restaurant group, which also operates Union Assembly.

Last year, Eminem and his Marshall Mathers Foundation donated Mom’s Spaghetti to healthcare workers in the Detroit area. Each tub of spaghetti included a thank you message to frontline caregivers for their efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
