HoneyKomb Brazy’s Lawyer Says Weapons And Money In His Videos Are Fake

Rapper HoneyKomb Brazy is fighting for his freedom, as prosecutors attempt to revoke his probation. Yesterday (June 16) the embattled rapper pleaded not guilty to illegal gun possession and possession of marijuana charges.

During the hearing, prosecutors pointed to HoneyKomb Brazy’s rap music videos and Instagram posts, which showed him flashing various types of guns.

According to Fox 10 News, HoneyKomb Brazy’s lawyer said the guns were fake – and so was the money in the videos.

HoneyKomb Brazy’s stepmother, who manages his business confirmed the guns were phony, and so did the producer of the music videos.

“We prop everything.. we’re strict on that. We control everything,” said producer Reshad McCall. “I personally ordered them. I’ve got receipts for them.”

HoneyKomb Brazy”s lawyer said that while his videos may be shocking to some people, it’s all just entertainment.

“It comes with the industry. It’s shocking to some of us, but that’s how they make their money,” honeycomb breezy’s lawyer Jeff Dean said. “And it’s a very lucrative market, and this young man has a lot of talent. He’s a go-getter.”

But the rapper has been involved in some real-life tragedies over the past several months.

His grandparents were murdered in February of 2021 after a gunman shot up their house and burnt it to the ground with the elderly couple inside.

There have been no arrests in the murder of Tony and Leila Lewis as of press time.

And last week, HoneyKomb Brazy’s mother was forced to flee her home in Mobile, because gunmen continued to shoot up her house leaving her in fear of her life.

His mother said the reason for the targeted shootings was pretty simple: “they want my son Nashon Jones dead. And they can get to him because he is away,” Tenecsha Jones said.

Jigg University Presents: Autasia and Rasheda De’loach

Once a platform for highlighting the footwork of dancers throughout the Baton Rouge area, Jigg University, also known as JU, has been reformatted as the city’s first ever school of partying! Operating as a promotional team and upcoming record label, JU takes the term “class clown” to a new level by gathering its student body compiled of artists, dancers, videographers, and DJs at the hottest events in the city and shutting down the classroom by hosting pep rallies at different clubs and venues. Sounds like an easy class to pass? Think again!

Two of the university’s students that are no strangers to the grind are a the brother-sister powerhouse Rasheda and Autasia De’Loach. Since adolescence, the pair always knew they were gifted in the area of sound, providing balance in areas where the other weren’t as fluent. Rasheda possessed the lyrical wit and means of not only his library of self-composed productions but also fan favorites with a slight spin. Autasia being capable of creating heavenly melodies and her range of knowledge regarding specific genres allowed the siblings’ musical talents to form an alliance that assembles a unique, yet favorable musical merging of Jigga City sound, vibes, and the occasional visit to different avenues of mainstream chart-toppers.

Rasheda’s potential for greatness has not gone unnoticed, as he has come face to face with long term success in the industry having his artistry being endorsed by high profiles such as multi-platinum producer Phunk Dawg and the legendary Russel Simmons. Although still an underdog on the scene, Rashed is no stranger to the gratification of having his work appreciated by the masses.

As the creator of one of Baton Rouge’s most viral tracks, the original “Can’t Stop Jiggin’”, he was assured he was fulfilling his purpose when learning of the success of fellow artist and former affiliate of the original JU brand HD4President’s and his very own spin of “Can’t Stop Jiggin,” a recent viral hit and additional spot on the map for Jigg City.

Rising out of the depths of the world of anime and healthcare, Autasia’s musical craftsmanship has come forth to claim its time in the spotlight. Despite already having a pinched schedule working as a full time nurse, Autasia has created a seat at the table for her passion and love of music.

Her exposure to creating pieces began as a band member in both middle and high school, introducing her to instruments and all other elements and aspects of music. As an advocate for mental health, Autasia strategically uses her pen to bring awareness of the subject matter all with the intention of infiltrating the black community and highlighting its the need of normalizing efforts of speaking up regarding the topic.

Both Rashed and Autasia are gearing up for nearby success at the doorstep of their new home, Jigg University. The dynamic duo have created a sound unlike what has been heard before and is guaranteed to shake things up not only in Jigga City but in the entire music industry. Their music can be found on all social media platforms under the Jigg University main account or by their usernames, @rashedaisthename and @autasiathegoddess.

Tiffany Haddish Is Dead Serious About “Flo Jo” Flick!

Tiffany Haddish often has a hard way in this game. The female comedian has been the source of numerous criticisms, jokes and dragging‘s throughout the years. However I have to say that she has overall been extremely positive and very helpful to her fellow comedians as well as navigating through these treacherous waters. Additionally, she’s dating a hot commodity in Common, one of my favorite artists.

Now, Tiffany Haddish has taken on the daunting task of playing Florence Griffith Joyner a.k.a. Flo Jo in the first movie to chronicle her life and times. The movie, which is presently untitled, will cover her life from beginning to her uneventful end. I hope it also addresses some of the false rumors that were circulating about her death. But that’s neither here nor there, I know it’s going to be covered. Tiffany Haddish has decided to take on this role not only spearheading it but starring in it as Flo Jo. Honestly, I don’t quite see it because they don’t favor at all to me. Flo Joe was such an extraordinary beautiful woman and athletic as well.

Flo Jo GIFs - Get the best GIF on GIPHY

Be extremely clear, I am not saying that Tiffany Haddish is not beautiful, but they are different. Flo Joe was more of a goddess in terms of sports, merely based on her physicality coupled with her natural good looks.

Sources tell me Tiffany Haddish is taking this role extremely serious, from the actual story, to being up to looking like Flo Jo. She is doing everything, and I do mean everything to fit the profile. She is gonna try to get that body that Flo Jo had! If I had to compare this role to someone else, based on what I have been told, I would have to say that she is most likely going to be on par with Jamie Foxx in “Ray.” “Ray” was an amazing breakout performance for Jamie Foxx, and this stands to be the same thing for Tiffany Haddish if she does it right.

Tiffany Haddish: Unlike Nicki Minaj, I Treat Everybody With Respect & Dignity

My sources also tell me that Tiffany Haddish also understands the gravity of the matter. That people love this Olympic runner and ALSO want to see her do a great job. Anybody that does not want to see her do it Will have to just get over it.

THIS IS HAPPENING!

Lori Harvey Explains The Difference Between Michael B. Jordan And Her Past Loves

Lori Harvey has admitted she considered Michael B. Jordan “cute” when they first met a few years ago.

The 24-year-old model and the “Black Panther” actor confirmed their relationship at the beginning of this year following months of speculation, but she revealed they first crossed paths “a few years ago.”

She said: “We met actually a few years ago. We had some mutual friends. I think we met out, just in passing.”

Asked if they had a connection back then, she laughed and said: “I was like, ‘He’s cute!’”

Both stars are usually very private but have shared glimpses of their romance on Instagram, and Lori explained they feel they owe it to fans to “give enough” of themselves, but always have conversations before they make anything public.

She told Bustle: “I think we’re both very private people naturally. So we just decide, if we take a picture or whatever it is, do you want to post this? Do we not? We have a conversation about it, like, ‘You want to post this or we keep this to ourselves?’

“We know there are people that love and support us and want to see us. So (we want to) give just enough, but keep the majority of it just for us. We’re trying to find a balance.”

And Lori insisted her relationship with the 34-year-old star is “more serious” than any of her previous romances with stars such as Future, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, and Trey Songz

She added: “I think just as I’ve gotten older and interests change, I think this was something that I just decided to be a little bit more public with because it’s a more serious relationship.”

In 2017, Lori got engaged to Dutch soccer player Memphis Depay but they split the following year, and the model admitted she learned a lot from that relationship, though it feels like a long time ago now.

She reflected: “I grew up a lot and I learned a lot from that relationship. And so, I think just as I’ve gotten older and developed as a woman, I’ve taken that knowledge with me: learning what I like, what I don’t like, and just applying that to where I’m at now.”

Lori’s main criteria in a relationship is someone that gets along with her family, and the Creed actor fitted in instantly.

She said: “I look for someone who is trustworthy and reliable, somebody that could be a good foundation and just stability for me. Somebody that has to be able to get along with my family. I’m so close to my family, so my family is the deciding factor in if you’re going to stick around or not. If they don’t love you, our time together will probably be short.

“I knew they were going to love him, which they did. (The introduction) was good. It was easy.”

But despite her happiness, Lori – who has seven nieces and nephews – insisted she’s not in a rush to have children.

She said: “I get my dose. I’m like, ‘OK, this is great birth control for me. Awesome. Love this.’ I can play with them, love on them, give them back.”

Mary J. Blige Gets Political And Backs Ray McGuire For Mayor Of New York

Mary J. Blige has thrown her weight behind Ray Mcguire as he fights to become the next mayor of New York City.

The “Family Affair” singer appears in a new ad, in which she describes McGuire as the best choice because of his upbringing, noting he was raised by a single mother.

“He understands the struggle of so many New Yorkers, because I’m a woman with a single parent mother who’s seen it all,” Blige says. “He understands.

“He is the businessman with the business plan… He’s not about the look. He’s about the grind. He cares about black and brown people getting ahead and children, and women.”

A retired executive, McGuire first announced his run with a splashy ad narrated by his pal Spike Lee. His supporters include LL Cool J, JAY-Z, Naomi Campbell, and Diddy.

Ray is up against Shaun Donovan, current frontrunner Eric Adams, and Maya Wiley.

Megan Thee Stallion Steps Up To Pay For Dead Fans’ Funeral

Megan Thee Stallion has stepped up to cover the funeral costs of a fan.

After learning from another fan that a GoFundMe campaign had been set up to raise funds for the dead devotee’s send-off, the rapper reached out to offer her help.

“How much do y’all need?” she tweeted on Tuesday

At that point, the fundraiser had reached half its $16,000 goal and so the “Savage” hitmaker agreed to pony up the rest with a donation of over $8,000 under her birth name, Megan Pete.

The person who posted the original plea retweeted a response from another friend, who agreed their late pal would have been blown away by the gesture.

“Shaniah would be screaming right now that their favorite artist just paid the rest of their memorial fund,” the note read. “Meg Thee Stallion is a beautiful person & I know she’ll never see this but she’s THAT b####. Support the f### out of her please. A musician who truly cares about their fans.”

Megan’s gift comes a week after she announced plans to treat one lucky student to a full-ride scholarship at Long Island University.

Academics at the New York state university have created the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports and Entertainment as part of a partnership with Jay-Z’s management firm, which will begin later this year and the “W.A.P.” hitmaker will cover four full years of tuition for one student.

The Grammy winner is currently a student herself – at Texas Southern University, where she’s studying healthcare administration.

Megan said, “If I can use my resources to open doors and create opportunities for at least one student, then it’s a victory. It’s important that we encourage our students to pursue their passions and put them in positions to become the next game changer in whichever fields they choose.”

Rick Ross Explains Why He Personally Cuts The Grass On His 232 Acre Estate

Hip-hop star Rick Ross insists on mowing his own grass at his sprawling Georgia mansion to save money.

The “Money Dance” hitmaker, who is known for rapping about his lavish spending, owns the massive Fayetteville estate boxing icon Evander Holyfield once called home, but he refuses to spend the $1 million annual fee to have professionals take care of his lawn.

Instead, Ross prefers to take the time to do it himself – even though it takes about five hours each time.

“When I bought the Fayetteville estate, locals would see me walk out of a restaurant and scream, ‘You know Holyfield spent $1 million a year to cut the grass?'” he told Forbes magazine.

“So I decided that I was gonna cut my own grass. And that’s what I did. I went down to John Deere (manufacturing brand) and asked to see the biggest tractor, the most efficient tractor. I told them I had 200-plus acres that I wanted to keep cut, and they pointed out the right tractor. I bought it right then and there. I bought the extended attachment on the back that would cut even wider.”

“Once I got it back home, I filled it up with gas,” he continued. “I may have sat in the same spot for two hours before I got everything working, but once I got it going, I didn’t stop. I cut grass for about five hours.”

Ross now likes to use the time on his lawnmower to enjoy a smoke and reflect on his life highs and lows.

“I sit there and have my cannabis rolled up, and, man, I look at the property and can appreciate my struggles and my triumphs, those rough days,” he shared.

“It’s the smallest thing, but it keeps a smile on my face. So, you know, for anybody who doesn’t cut their own grass, I would say take time out every two or three months to cut your grass because it is such a great and peaceful sensation.”

Cutting his own lawn isn’t the only way Ross likes to save his cash – he also prefers to fly commercial where possible, and enjoys perusing antique stores and flea markets for bargains: “I love finding beautiful things that cost $8 or $20,” he said.

Artist Tray Chaney Keeps Up The Pressure With “Momentum”

Tray Chaney is best known as an actor that has played numerous iconic roles like Poot from “The Wire” and, more recently, Kendrick from “Saints And Sinners.” However, there is another side to the Renaissance man. He’s also an emcee that spits bars and directs his own videos that have been featured on BET Jams and outlets like AllHipHop.

Well, Tray Chaney is back with “Momentum,” and the name says it all. Visuals for “Momentum” delves deep into Chaney going hard with celebrity trainer Timothy J. Forney Jr. The pair put in work – an amazing display of discipline, hard work, motivation and sacrifice. On top of that, the video also puts Chaney’s wife, his two kids and even his granddaughter in “Momentum.” “This is my representation of what hiphop looks like” he stated emphatically.

Son of Mars talks New EP, Finding Inspiration, & More!

Son of Mars recently released a lyrical video off of the EP for “Anakin” via FamilyOverGold Entertainment. The newcomer is starting the year off strong with cosigns from some of music’s most powerful collectives, collaborating with Grammy winning producer Alex Chiger in the winter of 2020. Hinting at a debut mixtape coming sometime this year, the artist is on a roll with another visual off of his latest EP Son of Mars.

Son of Mars was born and raised in the Caribbean Islands of Trinidad and Tobago, he moved to the US in 2015. Spending time between New York and Atlanta, Mars discovered his passion for music in 2018 when he attended the University of Rochester. It was at the university he was able to pursue musical production, while furthering his interests in Finance and entrepreneurship.

(Allhiphop) You’re out in New York at the time of this interview. What are you up to?

Right now I’m working on my next project. It’s a mix of songs that I’ve had on my mind for a while. I’m working with some really good producers and engineers, we all hyped for what’s coming next. Also taking in some of the NYC vybz it’s always good to be out here.

(Allhiphop) Now for those who don’t know, how did Son of Mars come up with his name?

The name Son of Mars came before I started making music. As a kid I was fascinated with Greek mythology, it was something I could always learn more about. I would always go by the name Demi God.

Son of Mars came from the Greek God Aries, known as Mars. The god of war represented Trinidad and Tobago a place that at some points in time felt like a battlefield for me, it is still the most beautiful place I know and where I was born and raised. So Son of Mars to me also represents a child of Trinidad and Tobago.

(Allhiphop) Now let’s move on and talk about your new EP, Son of Mars

This project was my first attempt at putting my thoughts on a record. I loved the way it turned out considering I recorded most of the EP in my dorm while attending the University of Rochester.
The EP has three tracks “First Born, Watch Yourself, and Anakin.”
These are all tracks that I wanna look back at and see where I started. I wanted it to offer a really wide range of melodies, and branch out of the trap genre and into something else entirely.

I feel like that’s what I’m gonna focus on for my next project.

(Allhiphop) What’s your favorite song on this project?

My favorite song on the project is Anakin. That was a freestyle verse that I recorded in one take. There was so much energy in the room that night, and we were just able to feed off of it and really turn it into something crazy.
I feel like those are the best ones, the ones that come from energy.

(Allhiphop)Are you excited to get back on the stage? & are you planning on joining a tour in a near future?

Yeah I’m really excited to get on stage and perform these! I’ve been getting a lot of love from different states, so we are really tryna narrow in where the large majority are and hit there first. But I’m really excited to be on the road!

I’m planning on releasing some more music soon! So before I hop on anyone’s tour I wanna make sure I get this music to the people. I also wanna experience it with them so I’ll probably wait till I drop it to hop on a collaborative tour.

(Allhiphop) Last year you signed with FamilyOverGold Entertainment. What made you decide they were the best fit for you?

I signed with the FamilyOverGold label because what they do is more than a label. From day one the approach has been to develop me as an artist and really try to better my music. I’ve seen people leave a label the same artist they went in as, and that was a big concern for me. The individual love and focus I get here is why I’m forever FØG

(Allhiphop) Is there anything you’d like to let your fans know?

If you got a dream then make a plan to follow your dream. Everybody in the world can dream, but only you can plan your future.

Polo G Interviews Scottie Pippen For ‘Hall Of Fame Conversations’

Chicago-bred rhymer Polo G is in full promo mode for his new album Hall of Fame. As part of the rollout, Polo sat down with Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen for Hall of Fame Conversations.

During the discussion, Polo G asked Pippen what does it mean to be enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame. The 6-time NBA champion answered by reflecting on the amount of time he spent improving his skill level and his impact on the sport.

“To be a Hall of Famer is a feeling of accomplishing a goal that you really didn’t set out for. It’s just something that you kinda achieve through your peers and the respect that people have for your craft and the hard work that you’ve been able to put in,” said Scottie Pippin.

The seven-time NBA All-Star and one-time NBA All-Star Game MVP continued, “At the end of the day, no one can put themself in the Hall of Fame. You have to be chosen to be there. And that’s the beauty of it.”

Scottie Pippen and Polo G also talked about the Bulls eventually overcoming their Eastern Conference rivals, the Detroit Pistons, in order to finally win an NBA championship in 1991. Pippen stated, “It was truly gratifying to get that monkey off our back and become a champion and celebrate with the city of Chicago.”

Polo G’s Hall of Fame follows 2019’s Die a Legend and 2020’s The Goat. At the moment, the 22-year-old hitmaker is projected to score his first #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with Hall of Fame. The project is currently on pace to amass 135,000 first-week units.

Previously, Polo G scored his first #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart when “Rapstar” debuted atop the weekly rankings in April. “Rapstar” held onto the pole position for a second week. It sits at #14 on the most recent Hot 100.

Hall of Fame hosts guest appearances by The Kid Laroi, Lil Durk, Lil Wayne, Scorey, G Herbo, Rod Wave, DaBaby, Young Thug, Roddy Ricch, Nicki Minaj, the late Pop Smoke, and Fivio Foreign.

Over the last three months, Polo G has presented music videos for “Rapstar,” “Gang Gang” with Lil Wayne, “No Return” with the Kid Laroi & Lil Durk, “Party Lyfe” with DaBaby, and “Painting Pictures.”

EXCLUSIVE: Government Wants B.G. To Stay Locked Up For Refusing To “Rat” And Abusing Drugs In Prison

Incarcerated rapper B.G. may have a tough time convincing a judge he should be let out of prison early.

The Cash Money Records rap star had been asking a judge for compassionate release and to send him home three years early, to serve out the rest of his prison sentence under home confinement.

The rapper, born Christopher Dorsey, a motion on May 11, 2021, asking for compassionate release arguing that he was at elevated risk of catching the coronavirus. B.G. also told a judge he had been rehabilitated and deserves a reduced sentence because he is a famous rap artist.

However, the government is claiming he is full of it.

“The government objects to a reduction of Dorsey’s sentence as there is no ‘extraordinary or compelling’ reason for a reduction of sentence due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, as Dorsey has no serious health issues and has been fully vaccinated from the COVID-19 virus. He simply argues that he has been rehabilitated and that his sentence was unjust,” according to United States Attorney Duane A. Evans.

Even worse, the government said B.G. had been caught using drugs and alcohol on multiple occasions during his prison sentence.

B.G.’s most recent infraction was in March of 2021, for alcohol possession. Additionally, the rapper was caught with the narcotic Suboxone in 2019 and 2020 and tested positive for Buprenorphine in 2019.

The rapper was also charged with possession of narcotics in 2017, phone abuse in 2017, and possession of a dangerous weapon in 2017. The government says B.G. does not deserve to be released early from his prison sentence.

“His violations inside the Bureau of Prisons appear to be similar to his conduct which led to his arrest – possession of illegal substances and dangerous weapons. Based on these facts, Dorsey’s ‘moral compass’ has not moved as far as he would like us to believe over the past several years,” Evans continued.

The government also seemed ticked off at B.G. for refusing to cooperate and provide information about a murder of an associate that took place in 2014 in Houston, Texas.

Dorsey told them:

“I have no comment for the FBI. I do not wish to speak to any FBI agent or outside law enforcement officer, I am a rapper and I do not rat on people.”

The agents stated that the entire meeting lasted less than a few minutes.

“His actions show that he is still the same person that made money off of singing songs about and glamorizing his involvement with the ‘gangsta lifestyle’ along with his possession/distribution of illegal drugs and firearms, and preaching to others about how they should never cooperate with the police,” United States Attorney Duane A. Evans snapped. “Even while being an inmate, he has been able to continually possess illegal drugs and dangerous weapons, and when given the opportunity to cooperate with law enforcement and do the right thing for the right reasons, he chose to maintain his street reputation for never cooperating with the police, just like he sings about in his songs.”

B.G. was originally sentenced to 14 years in prison in 2012 after he pled guilty to two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm and one count of participating in a conspiracy to obstruct justice.

According to the BOP website, B.G.’s projected release date is April 13, 2024. A judge has yet to rule on B.G.’s request for compassionate release.
