Janelle Monáe Flames “Bully” Donald Trump

Janelle Monáe delivered a pointed jab at former President Donald Trump while accepting the Equality Award from the Human Rights Campaign at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The “Make Me Feel” artist and “Glass Onion” actress didn’t mince words as she addressed the audience at the LGBTQ+ advocacy group’s annual gala. Although she avoided mentioning Trump explicitly, Monáe’s message was unmistakable.

“Bullies only win when we let them think they can. Here’s the truth, bullying doesn’t stop when we grow up. It doesn’t end when we leave school. It just gets bigger. It rebrands itself. The bully gets elected president,” Janelle Monáe said.

Monáe’s remarks clearly pointed toward Trump, whose presidency sparked controversy over executive actions affecting marginalized communities. Monáe reaffirmed her support for groups impacted by those policies, including immigrants, transgender and nonbinary individuals.

“Let’s make it clear. We will challenge the giant,” she said, concluding her speech to enthusiastic applause.

Monáe has never shied away from voicing her political opinions. Earlier this year, she openly criticized rapper Nelly for performing at one of Trump’s inauguration events.

During a freestyle rap at a Grammy Awards after-party in February, she directly called out the rapper, saying, “F### you Nelly. I used to like Nelly, but then he went to perform for Donald Trump. I care about women, I care about Hispanics. I care about Mexicans, I care about gay people. F### you Nelly, you sold out. I used to think you was cool. But now you look like a m############ fool.”

Sauce Walka Visits Memphis Restaurant In Honor Of Sayso P Days After Fatal Shooting

Sauce Walka paid homage to The Sauce Factory (TSF) record label’s deceased artist Sayso P by paying a visit to one of his former collaborator’s favorite Memphis-based eateries.

On Monday (March 24), Sauce Walka appeared in an Instagram video promoting PK’s Trap Shack in honor of the memory of Sayso P. Just days after Sayso P was fatally shot in Memphis—a tragedy that also left Sauce Walka wounded—the Houston lyricist followed through on a long-standing promise to visit the restaurant and the owner.

“TRUE STORY MY BRO SAID HE WAS GO MAKE SURE I GET TO MEET SAUCE WALKA N HE FA SHO DID DAT,” the caption of the post read in part. “SAUCE WALKA A REAL [one finger emoji] FA SHO U SUPPOSED TO BE HERE MY DAWG DIS S### WAS SO UNEXPECTED I APPRECIATE CHA FA LIFE MY DAWG WE GO KEEP DOING WHAT U WANTED US TO DO GOOD N#### GONE TO [soon text emoji].”

Standing inside the restaurant on crutches and donning a hospital gown with loose gauze dressing exposed showing the wounds his leg sustained during the shooting, Sauce Walka expressed his deep connection to Sayso P and the commitment he made to visit PK’s Trap Shack in the video.

“I’m out here in Memphis man, you know what I’m saying, the only way is with my n#### PK, you know what I’m saying, this s### don’t stop,” Sauce Walka began. “You gotta keep drippin’ sauce in peace my brother Sayso P splash that mafia R.I.P. my brother. My n#### wanted me to make sure I get some food for PK before I leave. You know what I’m talking about, exquisite taste. Midtown and downtown is where it’s going down.”

Sayso P had previously publicly vouched for the quality of PK’s Trap Shack from as early on as 2023. Additionally, he had been releasing music through the time of his death on March 22 under the TSF imprint since 2022.

In a sense, Sayso P’s ties to the restaurant and its ownership are nearly as deep as his allegiance to TSF, underscoring the importance of Sauce Walka’s visit to the establishment.

“He [Sayso P] was talking to me for months and putting me on FaceTime with you, brother,” he said to the owner, “So, I had to do that in the name of my brother—I love y’all, man.”

Sauce Walka further paid tribute to Sayso P, reaffirming his loyalty and dedication to keep his legacy alive even in his afterlife. “Sauce in peace, my brother Sayso P,” he said. “B####, I got you, bro, you told me to come. Anywhere you told me to go, I gotta go to. And I love you, n####. We’re going to make sure we keep your m############ name alive, n####.”

NBA YoungBoy Released From Prison

NBA YoungBoy is a free man after spending nearly a full calendar year behind bars in federal prison. On Monday (March 24), the “Nevada” rapper’s associate 0G 3Three confirmed NBA YoungBoy had been released from prison via a string of posts on Instagram celebrating his newfound freedom. The Louisiana rapper, born Kentrell Gaulden, was freed from Talladega Federal Correctional Institution in Alabama on March 24 after serving 11 of the 27-months he was sentenced to serve last year.

NBA YoungBoy was initially arrested in April 2024 on prescription drug fraud and gun charges in Utah, where he’d been living under house arrest. He later pleaded guilty to both charges, receiving a suspended sentence for fraud and a two-year-plus term for the gun offense.

In post he shared to his Instagram Story, OG 3Three exclaimed, “UHHHHH OHHHHHH MY BABY IS BACK HOMMMEEEEEEE. ALL GLORY TO GOD #ThisTheSeason Nomore #FreeTop he HOMEEE.”

Earlier this month, the Federal Bureau of Prisons database listed NBA YoungBoy’s release date being schedule on April 26, a significant update from his original projected date of release which was set for July 27.

It appears as though his situation progressed quickly, considering his mother, Sherhonda Gaulden, provided an update on her son’s prison sentence in January in which she admitted she was unaware of his current circumstances.

“They just moved him from where he was to another prison, so we haven’t talked, but he will be out,” Gaulden told fans during an interview.

At the time, NBA YoungBoy was serving a 27-month prison sentence in connection to his fraud case and guilty pleas to firearms charges linked to separate incidents in Louisiana and Utah. He entered a plea agreement in U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, admitting to two counts of felon in possession of a firearm.

Boosie Badazz Faces Backlash From Baton Rouge Attorney General & Late College Student’s Family

Boosie Badazz has responded to Baton Rouge Attorney General Liz Murrill in addition to the family of deceased college student Caleb Wilson over their claims regarding the scholarship fund he announced in honor of the late Southern University student amid his annual Boosie Bash celebration.

On Sunday (March 23), WBRZ News Louisiana 2 published a statement from Murrill accusing Boosie of using Wilson’s name, image and likeness to promote the sixth annual iteration of Boosie Bash. Wilson died last month in an alleged hazing incident linked to pledging to Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Prior to the release of Murrill’s statement, Boosie announced his plans to launch the Caleb Wilson Memorial Scholarship through the proceeds from Boosie Bash and confirmed he was working with Wilson’s family along with the Human Beatbox to set up the fund.

In a statement provided to the news outlet, Murrill alleges Wilson’s parents were unaware of Boosie Bash and had not given consent for the use of their son’s name to promote the event.

“Caleb Wilson’s parents have advised me that they have not given consent and know nothing about their son’s name and image being used to promote this event,” Murrill claims in the statement. “They didn’t even know the event was happening. They have requested that his name, image, and any reference to a scholarship for him be removed from all promotional materials. I intend to take legal action due to their misappropriation of his name and image to promote their for-profit event. This is not a charitable event.”

Boosie responded to Murrill and Wilson’s parents on March 24 via a lengthy tweet in which he described the situation in part as “sad” and denied the allegations against him.

“ITS SAD FOR THIS LAWYER n FAMILY TO SAY I PROMOTED MY EVENT OFF SOMEONES PASSING,” Boosie Badazz wrote in the tweet he shared. “MY EVENT WAS PROMOTED ON EVENTBRITE SINCE NOV 14. THIS INCIDENT HAPPENED A WEEK BEFORE MY EVENT WAS TO TAKE PLACE. HOW THE F### CAN I CAPITALIZE OFF SOMEONE DEATH FOR A CONCERT.”

Boosie went on to condemn the proposed legal action against him while also challenging the idea that he used Wilson’s death to amplify promotions of the event, explaining that his intention was only to help, which he claims was asked of him.

‘”THAT AINT ME “’“.A DEATH OF A STUDENT WONT HELP A CONCERT IT WOULD HURT A CONCERT,” he wrote. “I WAS ASK TO HELP THE SITUATION N THATS WHAT I WAS DOING ONCE I MADE IT HOME. BUT FOR YALL TO SAY THAT YALL ARE TAKING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST SOMEONE WHO IS TRYING TO HELP YALL IS A SLAP N MY FACE N ‘“COMPLETELY WRONG. Swizz Beatz Reveals Surprising Secret Behind His Marriage To Alicia Keys

Swizz Beatz spilled the tea on his 15-year marriage to Alicia Keys in a recent interview, revealing the unexpected secret behind their lasting romance.

The Grammy-winning producer explained that the key to their successful union boils down to one simple yet powerful word: communication.

“Marriage is definitely a big word, but look at it like your best friend,” Swizz said during an interview with Us Weekly. “The communication is there. We’ve never had an argument. Since we’ve been together, our kids [have] never seen it; never seen us raise our voice [or] never seen us yell. Never seen us curse at each other. Why? Because of communication.”

Swizz Beatz, whose real name is Kasseem Dean, emphasized that shouting matches are pointless.

“When you yell at each other, no one is really listening anyway,” he added. “Nothing gets solved in each other’s yelling.”

He also offered a fresh perspective on relationships, cautioning against treating a partner as property.

“People think they can own people. You can’t. It’s not property that you own. There’s a whole human, right?” Swizz continued. “So, we’re very clear on that. She’s her own boss. I’m my own boss. That’s how we make magic when we come together. I think that helps because people start getting very territorial and making their partner property, and I think that’s the biggest mistake.”

Swizz Beatz & Alicia Keys Relationship History

The couple’s relationship initially sparked controversy. They got together while Swizz was still married to his first wife, Mashonda Tifrere. Despite the rocky start, they became one of music’s most admired couples.

In May 2010, the pair announced their engagement and revealed they were expecting their first child. They tied the knot on July 31, 2010, in an intimate ceremony in Corsica, officiated by their close friend and spiritual author Deepak Chopra.

The couple welcomed their first son, Egypt Daoud Dean, in October 2010, followed by their second son, Genesis Ali Dean, on December 27, 2014.

Swizz also has three children from previous relationships—Prince Nasir, Kasseem Jr. and Nicole—making their household a lively blended family.

Beyond their personal bond, the duo has shared their chemistry in the studio, collaborating on multiple projects showcasing their combined talents.

Erykah Badu Jokes About Vandalizing Her Tesla Amid Explosive Anti-Elon Musk Protests

Erykah Badu joked about vandalizing her own Tesla amid escalating nationwide protests against Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

On Sunday (March 23), the Grammy-winning artist jokingly confessed to damaging her electric vehicle, humorously explaining she was simply “Trying to stay on trend.”

Tesla is facing a wave of destructive incidents across the United States, prompting an FBI investigation.

Authorities believe these acts, ranging from graffiti and smashed windows to gunfire and arson, are politically motivated responses to Musk’s controversial political affiliations and outspoken support for Donald Trump.

Recent attacks on Tesla vehicles and dealerships have included spray-painted slogans such as “RESIST” and “No Musk,” often accompanied by symbols resembling swastikas.

In one incident, a Colorado woman was charged with malicious destruction of property. She allegedly hurled Molotov cocktails at Tesla vehicles and spray-painted “Nazi cars” on a nearby building.

Trump condemned the protests, labeling them as domestic terrorism.

Erykah Badu On Donald Trump & MAGA Movement

Badu has previously criticized Trump and his MAGA movement.

In a 2018 interview, she labeled Trump an agent of “resistance” to Baduizm.

“The thing about Trump is that he’s a bad guy to the point where it looks manufactured. Are we playing games here? He can’t really be that bad. I’m not a conspiracy theorist at all — I don’t give a s### about that stuff — but it looks like Trump’s just trying to spark division. It looks like a game. Why are we being toyed with?”

Badu’s helped popularize the term “woke” in her 2008 song “Master Teacher.”

She addressed the Republican Party’s rebranding of the term during a 2023 MSNBC interview with Ari Melber.

“I think they mean Black,” she stated. “It’s another way to say ‘thug’ or something else, right?”

Badu explained that her original intention behind “woke” was simply “being aware” and “being in alignment with nature.”

Michael Rainey Jr. Mocks Lil Meech Amid Explosive “BMF” Drama

Michael Rainey Jr. threw shade at co-star Lil Meech during an Instagram Live session this past weekend after a viewer asked if he felt sorry for his BMF co-star amid ongoing drama with 50 Cent.

Rainey left no doubt about his stance, responding bluntly. “Do I feel bad for Lil Meech? I don’t feel bad for no grown man on this planet,” he asserted. “I’m a grown man. Why the f### I gotta feel bad for another grown man?”

Speaking directly to Lil Meech, Rainey added, “You a grown man too, n####. What you asking for my sympathy for? You’ll be alright. Hoe ass n####.”

A post shared by Watch Live Bitez (@livebitez)

This isn’t the first time Rainey publicly poked fun at Lil Meech. Last month, when a TikTok user suggested Rainey should have mentored the newer actor, Rainey shot back, “Tried to, he wanted to be big bro so bad.”

Rainey, who has been in the acting game since childhood, first appeared on screen at age 10 in an Italian film.

He gained widespread recognition after starring on 50 Cent‘s Starz hit series Power and later starred in its spinoff, Power Book II: Ghost, from 2014 until October 2024.

Lil Meech, by comparison, is relatively new to the entertainment industry. He made his acting debut portraying his own father, infamous Detroit figure Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, in the Starz crime drama BMF.

50 Cent Casts Doubt On Future of “BMF”

The tension between Michael Rainey Jr. and Lil Meech follows uncertainty about the future of BMF, sparked by a public feud between 50 Cent and Big Meech.

The conflict began after Big Meech was spotted with longtime 50 Cent rival Rick Ross.

Fueling the fire, 50 Cent recently hinted at ending the show.

“What next season,” he wrote on Instagram, implying Season 4 could be the show’s last.

50 Cent has accused both Big Meech and Lil Meech of disloyalty, adding further tension to the situation.

As the sole rights holder of BMF, he has overall control over the show’s future. Despite the drama, Season 4 is still set to premiere on Friday, June 6.

Meanwhile, Lil Meech seemed unbothered by the controversy, posting an Instagram video on Sunday (March 23) of himself relaxing with his father in Florida.

Cardi B Devastated After Daughter Ruins Her $60K Birkin Bag

Cardi B has revealed that her daughter turned her $60,000 crocodile skin Birkin bag into an impromptu art project in an Instagram video posted Sunday night.

The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker took to social media to showcase the damage done to her prized mustard-yellow Hermès Birkin.

Cardi expressed her shock in a video posted on her Instagram Stories Sunday night (March 23). “I literally spent $60,000 on this purse,” she said. “Look what my daughter did to my purse.”

Cardi’s frustration grew more evident with each repetition, finally punctuated by an exasperated sigh.

This isn’t just any handbag. Cardi B first introduced this particular Birkin to her followers in October 2024, proudly displaying it among her latest trio of crocodile-skin Hermès acquisitions.

At the time, she captioned the Instagram Story snapshot simply as “my new three,” highlighting the dark crimson, gray and mustard-yellow bags elegantly arranged on a Louis Vuitton-patterned table inside her lavish closet.

Cardi B’s Coveted Hermès Collection

The Grammy-winning rapper is well known for her love of luxury handbags, boasting a Hermès Birkin collection worth more than $2 million. Her haul includes exotic crocodile skin pieces in striking shades like teal, violet, classic black, and vibrant pink.

Among her most prized bags is the rare Birkin Cargo, valued at up to $240,000. She also owns a highly sought-after Himalaya Birkin, which can sell for over $300,000 on the resale market.

Her estranged husband, rapper Offset, has also played a role in expanding her impressive collection.

For her 31st birthday in 2023, Offset gifted Cardi B a trio of Hermès bags worth a small fortune, including a Rose Scheherazade Hot Pink Crocodile Birkin 30, gilded crocodile-skin Birkin and the ultra-rare Faubourg Birkin—also known as the “House Birkin”—valued at $398,975 on luxury marketplace 1stdibs.

The rapper’s passion for Hermès extends beyond Birkins alone. She also owns several Kelly Cut Exotic Handbags, each retailing around $27,000. Cardi once humorously admitted she traveled to Paris Couture Week specifically to secure a shiny black crocodile Birkin 30. She affectionately refers to her more understated solid-color Birkins as her “plain Janes.”

However, despite her sprawling closet space, Cardi B recently confessed she’s “running out of space” due to the sheer volume of her handbag collection.

Zeddy Will’s star power has expanded exponentially, backed by impressive numbers—10 million TikTok followers, over 1.3 million Instagram fans, and upwards of 600,000 subscribers on YouTube. Billboard’s recent acknowledgment of Zeddy as one of the “15 Hip-Hop, African & R&B Artists to Watch in 2025” underscores the rapper’s commanding presence, extending far beyond his Queens roots into a global phenomenon.

Currently trending at number two on TikTok, Zeddy and collaborator B Jacks have audiences hooked with their energetic anthem “Get Jiggy.” This success follows closely on the heels of Zeddy’s earlier smash “Twerkin With Your Friends,” which conquered NYC’s Shazam charts and accumulated an astounding 17 million streams. Through tracks like “Uh Oh,” Zeddy Will continues evolving his sound, effortlessly blending vibrant bounce rhythms with relatable storytelling. His forthcoming project, “Set the Tone,” promises to further amplify his signature blend of charisma and club-ready beats, firmly establishing him as a fixture in contemporary Hip-Hop’s thriving landscape.

As he gears up for another landmark year, Zeddy Will isn’t just riding the wave—he’s creating it, proving with every viral hit that he has mastered the art of capturing attention, keeping crowds moving, and carving out his spot at the forefront of today’s music culture.

U.K. Rapper & YouTube Star Yung Filly Hit With Second Rape Allegation Overseas

Yung Filly is facing a second rape investigation after a British tourist accused him of sexual assault in Magaluf, Spain, last summer.

The 29-year-old entertainer, whose legal name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, allegedly assaulted the woman after performing at a beachside concert in the popular Spanish resort town, according to the Daily Mail.

The alleged victim, a British woman vacationing in Magaluf, reported the incident to authorities in the United Kingdom several weeks after returning home. She claimed Yung Filly inappropriately touched her at a nightclub and later raped her in a hotel room.

The woman told police that the alleged rape occurred after she engaged in consensual sex with one of Barrientos’ friends in a hotel room.

Spanish authorities have already investigated the allegations.

A judge in Palma is now reportedly seeking cooperation from Australian officials to question Yung Filly under oath regarding the incident.

Yung Filly On Trial In Australia

This latest accusation adds to mounting legal troubles for the British rapper and YouTube personality, who is already embroiled in a separate sexual assault case in Australia.

He faces multiple charges stemming from an alleged incident in Perth in September 2024, where prosecutors claim he sexually assaulted a woman in her 20s in his hotel room following a performance in Hillarys.

On March 11, 2025, Yung Filly pleaded not guilty in Western Australia to three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, one count of strangulation and four counts of sexual penetration without consent.

He remains free on bail, which was granted in October 2024 under strict conditions and is prohibited from leaving Western Australia.

In a separate legal matter, he pleaded guilty to reckless driving charges after authorities caught him driving over 96 mph on a highway near Perth in November 2024.

Yung Filly is scheduled to appear before Western Australia’s District Court on June 13 to face trial for the sexual assault charges.

Lizzo Confronts Yung Miami Over Controversial Weight Loss Comments

Lizzo has confronted Yung Miami after comments about her recent weight loss sparked controversy online.

The drama unfolded when Miami appeared on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast last week. She mentioned Lizzo while discussing societal pressure on women to alter their appearances through cosmetic procedures.

Yung Miami referenced Lizzo’s recent physical transformation. “Everybody was like, ‘Oh my God, she’s so fat,'” she stated. “She looks so good now. Now it’s like, ‘Oh my God, ew.’… Pick a side. What do you want?”

Lizzo, clearly bothered by the “Ew” remark, decided to call Miami directly during a Twitch livestream over the weekend to clarify exactly what she meant.

Lizzo questioned Miami about the intention behind her comments, specifically the reaction she mentioned.

Responding to Lizzo’s concerns, Yung Miami clarified her intentions. “Everybody [says] you look good, but then you have the little 5% that’s just like, ‘She looked better when she was fat,'” she explained.

The former City Girls rapper then emphasized that her comments were not meant to criticize Lizzo personally but rather to highlight the impossible standards women face regarding their bodies.

“I was just referencing… you can’t make [everybody] happy,” Miami said.

Meanwhile, Lizzo has transitioned from body positivity to body neutrality, embracing a more personal and evolving perspective on self-image.

In a March 2024 interview with The New York Times, she explained that body positivity has strayed from its original intent and has now “evolved into body neutrality.”

Prioritizing health over aesthetics, Lizzo focuses on maintaining a balanced lifestyle rather than fixating on weight. She champions embracing one’s body at any size while nurturing it for overall well-being and longevity.

She also argued the body positivity movement has become a “code word for fat” rather than a message of empowerment.

Future threw an extravagant Sweet 16 bash in Atlanta for his daughter Londyn Wilburn, featuring performances by Travis Scott and Sexyy Red.

The lavish event, held in the heart of Atlanta, was a Hip-Hop dream come true, complete with a private concert headlined by Travis Scott, Sexyy Red, Mariah The Scientist and Future himself.

Londyn shared clips on social media highlighting her multiple wardrobe changes throughout the night and even joined the artists on stage, dancing and celebrating alongside her famous father.

But the surprises didn’t end there. Future gifted Londyn a brand-new Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.

Earlier in the week, Future had already begun spoiling Londyn, treating his daughter to a swanky birthday dinner and surprising her with flowers, setting the stage for the weekend’s grand celebration.

The Atlanta rapper is no stranger to fatherhood. He has eight children by eight different women, including five sons and three daughters, ranging in age from 4 to 21.

Among the mothers of his children are well-known personalities such as singer Ciara, Joie Chavis, Eliza Reign and Brittni Mealy.

Meanwhile, Future is gearing up to drop a new project following a prolific 2024.

In 2024, Future teamed up with Metro Boomin for two back-to-back collaborative albums: We Don’t Trust You (March 22) and We Still Don’t Trust You (April 12). Later in the year, he dropped Mixtape Pluto on September 2. All three projects debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

In late January, Future teased an upcoming release, hinting at a “new tape” on social media. He fueled anticipation earlier this month, telling fans: “album bout to b [fire] trust me.”

Sauce Walka Breaks Silence After Shooting That Killed Sayso P

Sauce Walka reassured followers he’s doing fine in a new video posted online after being wounded in a shooting that tragically took the life of his friend and collaborator, Sayso P, in Memphis, Tennessee.

The Houston-based Hip-Hop artist spoke to his father via FaceTime in the clip, emphasizing that surviving gunfire isn’t exactly a new experience for him.

“45 shots when I was 15 years old,” Sauce Walka said. “This s### ain’t nothing new.”

He also paid respects to Sayso P, a fellow TSF artist who lost his life in the same incident.

Gunfire erupted in the bustling downtown area of Memphis, near the FedExForum arena, on Saturday night (March 22).

According to Memphis police, Sauce Walka was struck in the leg outside a hotel. Authorities described the attack as a deliberate, targeted act rather than a random crime.

Witnesses reported seeing multiple suspects jump out of a white vehicle, open fire without any apparent provocation, and then quickly flee the scene.

While Sauce Walka sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, Sayso P was fatally wounded.

Sauce Walka’s father, Albert Walker, confirmed the incident publicly and expressed relief that his son survived the violent encounter.

Memphis Police Confirm Sauce Walka & Sayso P Shooting “Targeted”

Police have since identified the vehicle involved and are actively working to apprehend the suspects responsible.

“This appears to be a targeted shooting incident,” an MPD spokesperson told Fox 13. “The victims were outside by a vehicle. The suspect vehicle pulled up. Multiple people got out of that vehicle, fired shots without engaging in any conversation, they got back into the white vehicle and fled.”

Just hours before the shooting, Sauce Walka shared images and videos on social media, showing himself enjoying a lively celebration alongside Sayso P and fellow rapper YTB Fatt.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident and have urged anyone with information to come forward.

SIGNS: Donald Trump Suggests CNN & MSNBC Will Be Canceled While Criticizing Media & NYT

Donald Trump is once again lashing out at the mainstream media.

This time, in defense of his constituent Elon Musk, who was at the center of a New York Times report that claimed he would be “briefed on classified U.S. plans if war should break out with China.” In addition to denying the report was true, Trump declared outlets such as CNN, MSNBC and the New York Times are “dishonest” and failing. He made the claims during a recent Fox News interview in which he made it clear that he sees these news organizations as a threat to honest journalism.

“Really, we do need honest journalism in this,” Trump said. “We’ve made such big strides over the last two months, but we just need honest journalism. And we don’t have it.”

Trump specifically called out CNN, claiming that he occasionally tunes in just to keep tabs on the network.

“I watch, you have to watch these people every once in a while just to see where they’re coming from, and it’s so dishonest,” he said. He didn’t stop there. Trump slammed MSNBC, suggesting that it’s even worse than CNN.

“MSNBC is, I think, probably worse,” he said. “And they’re both doing horribly in the ratings. I think they’re going to be turned off.”

Taking his criticism even further, Trump set his sights on the New York Times, which he has long labeled as untrustworthy.

“If you read what’s out of the New York Times, it’s such a dishonest newspaper,” he said. “It’s such garbage. It used to be called all the news that’s fit to print. Well, it’s all the news that’s not fit to print.”

Trump accused the paper of fabricating stories and using unreliable sources: “They have fake sources or they don’t have sources. I think they make most of it up.”

Wrapping up his media tirade, Trump reiterated his infamous stance on the press.

“I call it the failing,” he said. “It’s a failing newspaper. It’s failing. And they shouldn’t do that. They really are the enemy of the people.”

Prior to his latest rhetoric, Trump previously lashed out at CNN and MSNBC in a similar fashion during a press conference at the Department of Justice earlier this month. According to Trump, the two news outlets could be “illegal” because he claims “96.7 percent” of what they write about him is negative.

Drake’s Mysterious Studio Sessions—Is Revenge On His Mind Or Just A Comeback?

Is Drake plotting his comeback? Word on the street is that he’s already back in the studio and from what I’m hearing, he’s writing these new rhymes straight from the heart! That’s right; there are rumors that there will be no ghostwriters or co-writers. Visually, we’re just seeing Drake alone in the lab cooking up something special. We all know last year was rough and this year didn’t exactly kick off smoothly, but it looks like Drake is ready to bounce back.

Thoughts?

I don’t think we need to dive into every little detail from the past year, but it’s clear Drake still feels some type of way after losing that battle with Kendrick Lamar. Even more notably, he took things too far by filing defamation suits against giants like Universal Music Group and Spotify. This had the internet in a frenzy and folks started calling Drizzy a “Karen”— something we can’t have. Now, we don’t have any personal beef with Drake around here, but bringing lawsuits and authorities into rap beef is never a vibe. Handle it differently next time.

Anyway, Drake’s been dropping cryptic hints, leaving us guessing about his next move. I genuinely hope he’s not interested in another round with Kendrick. Drake’s best move is just to get back to being himself, fly and authentic. Can he pull it off? Honestly, I’m not sure. When pride and ego get involved, bad decisions can follow. Truth be told, Drake was never truly a “loser,” because champs lose all the time. He simply didn’t win that particular battle. But now, he’s facing a bigger issue: losing the war of public perception.

He undoubtedly has a legendary catalog that will continue making money! Will he win us all? Drake’s Angels are going to be there. I am admittedly a little concerned. Let’s get back to the music!

French Montana Pockets Mauled By Ruling Over Dog Attack At His House

French Montana faced a significant financial bite earlier this week after a judge recently ordered the Hip-Hop star to pay more than $400,000 over a 2019 dog mauling at his Calabasas estate.

The lawsuit stems from an incident in November 2019 when Montana’s Tibetan mastiff attacked landscaper Jason Leyva, leaving him with painful bites to his shoulder and hip.

Leyva’s injuries required hospitalization, multiple stitches and antibiotic treatment.

Despite French Montana claiming he believed a settlement had already been reached, Leyva insists no such agreement ever existed.

Leyva maintains that any funds he received from Montana were solely payments for contracted landscaping work, not related to the dog attack.

The judge’s decision came after Montana failed to produce documentation proving a prior settlement. Leyva went even further, alleging that any settlement paperwork Montana might provide would be fraudulent.

French Montana’s attorney, Dariush Adli, spoke with Rolling Stone about plans to challenge the ruling that said the rapper would have to pay over $402,644.

“We will ask the judge to reconsider,” Adli said. “If he won’t, we’ll recommend to our client that we appeal. If the judge maintains his position, we are confident this will be overturned on appeal.”

Initially, Leyva had pursued a much heftier claim, seeking approximately $2.3 million in damages. He alleged that Montana promised to cover his medical expenses immediately following the attack, a promise Leyva says was never honored.

The court ruled against French Montana by default, stating he demonstrated no viable reason for neglecting to respond to the lawsuit in a timely manner.

The rapper, however, argued that he had no knowledge of the legal action until the default judgment was already in place.

Dark Rumors Emerge Around Sauce Walka Shooting And Slaying Of Sayso P

Sauce Walka nearly became another tragedy. He narrowly escaped a fatal shooting that sadly claimed the life of his artist, Sayso P. This all happened right in Memphis. Word on the street initially said the Houston rapper was the intended target, but the streets are whispering something different.

According to local chatter, Sayso P, a native of Memphis, might’ve been the real target all along. Why? Well, if the streets are correct, Sayso ran his mouth a little too freely. It seems like he thought coming home with Sauce would provide him some cover in the midst of beef.

Sauce Walka Injured, Sayso P Killed In Targeted Memphis Hit

Now, I’m no mind-reader, but whatever Sayso said had to be beyond offensive to provoke such a savage response. They wanted him silenced permanently. That sucks! As cold-hearted as it sounds, these individuals reportedly approached the two rappers and blasted shots. Tragically, Sayso didn’t survive the encounter. But…it gets way more intriguing.

The alleged shooters reportedly stood directly over Sauce Walka, ready to send him to his Maker. Realizing it was a major rap star, they reportedly backed off and allowed him to live. “He knows what he did,” they reportedly said as they departed. Sauce had to have his life flash before his eyes. He survived with a wound to his thigh. I hope he’s not too messed up because he tends to roll with some sort of security.

Hip-Hop has always had its share of controversy, but when did it become so murderous? What kind of message are we sending to the next generation? We must find lessons in tragedy, even one as senseless as this. Sayso’s voice will never truly be heard. He’ll never learn from the lesson.

Formal details remain fuzzy. I am sure the cops are on this one! It was a shooting in broad day! Let’s hope the Hip-Hop community takes notice. Can we all just get along?

Stay safe, Sauce. Rest peacefully, Sayso P.

Artists Take Action Against School Shootings at SXSW With Sandy Hook Promise and a Supreme Court Lawsuit

Julia Beverly reports from Austin, TX on the dire national epidemic of mass shootings at schools.

If Dylan Hockley and Daniel Barden were alive today, they’d be nineteen. It’s not hard to imagine them as young college students on spring break, maybe among the crowds of partygoers visiting Austin, Texas, the “Live Music Capital of the World,” to catch some up-and-coming bands during SXSW week.

Instead, it is their parents who are here. Nicole Hockley and Mark Barden, co-founders of the national nonprofit Sandy Hook Promise, are faced not only with the ongoing grief of losing a child, but the unenviable challenge of drawing SXSW partygoers’ attention to this grim topic. Dylan and Daniel were two of the twenty young children killed in the devastating mass shooting in December 2012 at their Connecticut elementary school, Sandy Hook.

Since enacting reasonable gun control measures has proven elusive in our trigger-happy America, Sandy Hook Promise encourages a broader focus on prevention. Their Know the Signs program encourages young people recognize the signs of a peer who might be a danger to themselves or others.

To support their mission, Sandy Hook Promise seeks donations, volunteers, and sells teddy bears

During Sandy Hook Promise’s Artist for Action events at SXSW, mental health professionals shared their expertise, and entertainers such as pop duo Aly & AJ spoke about their own traumatic experiences as survivors of a mass shooting. Singer Ginuwine closed out the night with an energetic rendition of some of his hit songs, the stage adorned with Sandy Hook Promise teddy bears and a framed photograph of Daniel Barden and his siblings.

The Lawsuit for Survival

Just a few blocks away, a Lush Cosmetics-sponsored immersive experience called “Bloom A New Day: Activation Against Gun Violence,” served as a memorial to, sadly, hundreds of other school shooting victims.

Six years after Dylan and Daniel were among the twenty students and six faculty members killed at Sandy Hook, the same tragic story repeated itself in Parkland, Florida, where seventeen staff and students were murdered at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Manny and Patricia Oliver, parents of Joaquin Oliver, one of the students lost in Parkland, are taking a different approach. They’ve partnered with Global Action on Gun Violence to file a lawsuit against the United States government, alleging that their failure to protect children like Joaquin from gun violence is a violation of human rights law.

As the Supreme Court considers arguments in this potentially groundbreaking case, the organizers ask that supporters sign the petition here.

Marcus Jordan Seeks Rehab After Cocaine Fueled Train Track Incident

Marcus Jordan narrowly avoided disaster when authorities discovered him intoxicated behind the wheel of his vehicle stuck on train tracks in Orange County, Florida, on February 4.

The 32-year-old son of NBA icon Michael Jordan was allegedly found by responding officers slurring his speech and exhibiting “bloodshot eyes,” according to police reports.

Officers also indicated a strong odor of alcohol emanating from Jordan and reportedly uncovered a bag containing a white powdery substance, later confirmed through testing as cocaine.

At the time of the incident, a train was reportedly approaching the location, estimated to be roughly 10 minutes away from the stalled vehicle, adding urgency to the situation.

Jordan has since pleaded not guilty to charges including driving under the influence, cocaine possession and resisting arrest.

However, in a recent development, Jordan’s attorney has filed a request with the court seeking permission for his client to enroll in a substance abuse rehabilitation program, acknowledging Jordan’s struggles with alcohol and drug dependency.

Jordan’s legal representative stated clearly that his client “acknowledges that he needs help to overcome the challenges of his alcohol/substance use and is amenable to treatment.”

The filing further emphasized Jordan’s willingness to confront his issues directly, noting, “While Mr Jordan acknowledges the seriousness of the charges against him, he respectfully submits that he is an ideal candidate for the Pre-Trial Substance Abuse Education and Treatment Intervention Program due to his strong desire to live as a responsible, drug-free, productive member in the community.”

Jordan’s arrest first made headlines due to his famous family ties and the precarious circumstances surrounding the incident.

The younger Jordan, who previously gained attention for his collegiate basketball career and later for his ventures into the fashion and sneaker industry, now faces serious legal consequences and public scrutiny.

His request to enter a treatment program signals a proactive step toward addressing his substance abuse issues, potentially influencing the outcome of his pending legal proceedings.

The court has yet to rule on whether Jordan will be permitted entry into the rehabilitation program, a decision that could significantly impact his future.
