Rapper Young Lo Fatally Shot In Miami Outside Club

California rapper Young Lo aka EverybodyKnowsLo, whose real name is Lowell Grissom, was murdered Sunday morning outside of a South Beach nightclub during a party.

Around 4:00 a.m., CBS News Miami said the fatal shootout claimed the life of the popular rapper, known to kick it with Hitmaka and Ray J. Two other women were injured during the melee and were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital. They are expected to recover from the shooting.

SNBC 13 said all of the shooting victims were taken to the hospital. Lo was the only one not to survive.

The Gala nightclub released a statement saying in part, “We are shocked and deeply saddened by the isolated and targeted incident that occurred last night at our upscale establishment.”

Friends also believe that the rapper was a target in the shooting.

Lo was a recent Florida transplant and leaves a young son to mourn. No suspect has been arrested or identified in the shooting or connected to a motive.

Lo has performed or collaborated with Rich The Kid, Murda Beatz, Young Blacc, Tyga and even Chris Brown.

Breezy took to his social media and posted in his story a tribute to his friend saying, “Love you bro, Rest up My Brother” with a broken heart emoji.

Young Lo and Brown were both named in a sexual assault lawsuit in 2018, according to NPR.

The Family Of Jordan Neely Demand Call From NYC Mayor Eric Adams Over Homeless Man’s Murder On Subway Train In New Statement

Over the weekend, ex-marine, Daniel Penny, 24, released a statement about why he placed Jordan Neely, a homeless Michael Jackson impersonator, in a fatal chokehold while riding on a New York subway car. Now, the family of the street performer has responded with their own remarks regarding Penny’s account of the May 1 murder of the 30-year-old.

They also called for New York City’s mayor, Eric Adams to give them a call.

AllHipHop.com obtained the press release from the law firm Mills & Edwards lambasting Penny’s lawyers’ characterization of the incident and their client’s actions.

They dismissed the comments as a “non-apology” and are demanding justice for their loved one who was “killed” at the hands of the military man.

While pointing at Penny’s statements, lawyers Donte Mills and Lennon Edwards wrote on behalf of Jordan’s family, “Daniel Penny’s press release is not an apology nor an expression of regret. It is a character assassination and a clear example of why he believed he was entitled to take Jordan’s life.”

Adding, “In the first paragraph he talks about how ‘good’ he is, and the next paragraph he talks about how ‘bad’ Jordan was in an effort to convince us Jordan’s life was ‘worthless.’ The truth is, he knew nothing about Jordan’s history when he intentionally wrapped his arms around Jordan’s neck and squeezed and kept squeezing.”

“In the last paragraph, Daniel Penny suggests that the general public has shown ‘indifference’ for people like Jordan, but that term is more appropriately used to describe himself,” they continued. “It is clear he is the one who acted with indifference, both at the time he killed Jordan and now in his first public message. He never attempted to help him at all. In short, his actions on the train, and now his words, show why he needs to be in prison.”

The family wants Adams and the world to know, Jordan’s life mattered just as much as any other person in the city— blasting anyone who assisted in the young man’s death or not speaking out against it.

According to NY1, Penny’s lawyers released a comment after the incident, one ruled a homicide by the city’s medical examiner.

While saying they sending their condolences to Neely’s family, they also noted the young man had a “documented history of violent and erratic behavior.”

He believed, though he did not know about said behavior, he was acting to protect other passengers on the subway.

It said in part, “Daniel never intended to harm Mr. Neely and could not have foreseen his untimely death. For too long, those suffering from mental illness have been treated with indifference. We hope that out of this awful tragedy will come a new commitment by our elected officials to address the mental health crisis on our streets and subways.”

They also wrote, “When Mr. Neely began aggressively threatening Daniel Penny and the other passengers, Daniel, with the help of others, acted to protect themselves, until help arrived.”

Little has been released about Penny’s background, but records show he served for four years in the military from 2017 to 2021.

Penny has not been charged with the homicide, according to the New York Times. There is no word on if there will be any charges for the crime against the ex-marine for killing the homeless man.

Lil Yachty & Tyler, The Creator Collaborated On Music

Tyler, The Creator’s Call Me If You Get Lost arrived in June 2021. After debuting atop the weekly Billboard 200 with 169,000 first-week units, Call Me If You Get Lost returned to No. 1 in April 2022.

Lil Yachty dropped the Psychedelic Rock album Let’s Start Here in January. The 14-track studio LP debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 chart by collecting 36,000 first-week units.

“I would love to do a project with Tyler [The Creator],” stated Yachty in a recent interview. “He’s the reason I made this album. He’s the one who told me to do it, just go for it.”

Lil Yachty also added, “He’s so confident and I have so much respect for him because he takes me seriously, and he always has.” The two rhymers, along with Tierra Whack and A$AP Rocky, collaborated for “T.D” off 2020’s Lil Boat 3.

Cardi B Defends The Rise Of Female Rappers

After Bronx-raised entertainer Cardi B reached the top of the Billboard charts in 2017, numerous other female rappers have ascended to a mainstream level. Fellow Bronx native Ice Spice is one of the latest artists to break out as a star.

Ice Spice became the topic of conversation recently after the “Munch (Feelin’ U)” performer appeared at the Met Gala. Some critics claimed colorism was the reason for Spice’s promotion to the upper echelon of the entertainment industry so quickly.

Additionally, the New Rory & Mal podcast sparked a conversation about the comparison between the rise of Cardi B and the rise of Ice Spice. Cardi decided to address the “industry plant” allegations during an Instagram Live session.

“When it comes to other female rappers’ success that’s happening now, some females are going to come up faster than others. A lot of people will think, ‘That’s because their labels are putting money behind them,'” stated Cardi B.

The Grammy winner continued, “The labels are putting money behind the girls who people are listening to. So if you feel like somebody is coming really fast, that’s because y’all [are] listening to them. The labels only go with who’s getting the most listens.”

Cardi also offered, “You can’t blame no machine for that. You can’t blame nothing for that. Labels are going to put money on artists that people are listening to. And you can’t hate on that. You can’t hate on nobody else’s come up.”

It is currently unclear where Cardi B and Ice Spice’s personal or business relationship stands at the moment. Back in 2021, prior to becoming famous, Ice Spice expressed interest in wanting to work with Cardi on music.

Last year, Cardi B referenced “Munch” on GloRilla’s national hit “Tomorrow 2” which peaked in the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10. In January, Ice Spice expressed gratitude that Cardi mentioned her song on “Tomorrow 2.”

Ice Spice recently teamed up with Nicki Minaj for the “Princess Diana” collaboration. The RiotUSA-produced single peaked in the Top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

There has been a longstanding feud between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. The bitter rivalry included a physical confrontation at a 2018 New York Fashion Week afterparty.

Both Cardi B and Ice Spice will head back to New York for Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2023 concert on June 4. Elmont’s UBS Arena will host a lineup of acts that also features female rappers GloRilla, Coi Leray, and Lola Brooke. Hot 97 tapped Cardi as the headliner for the event.

Lil Wop’s Cross-Dressing Photo Goes Viral

Chicago-bred rapper Lil Wop has leaned heavily into promoting his sexual content on OnlyFans. A new photo on his Instagram page has generated a lot of conversation.

Over the weekend, Wop uploaded a picture to Instagram that appears to be the Halloween project creator dressed in lingerie. The caption reads, “I’ll be a bad b#### for you if [you’re] the right one. 🥰 Subscribe To My OF 😝.”

Lil Wop’s Instagram post quickly spread across the internet as social media users weighed in on the image. Some of his fans showed support for his openness while other people criticized Wop for sharing the photograph.

Previously, Wop came out as bisexual in 2022. In addition, the former protégé of Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane has publicly admitted to being attracted to feminine men and transgender women.

“Don’t get me wrong. I ain’t out here sucking no d### or getting f##### in the ass or no s### like that, but I’ll make a n#### my b####,” said Lil Wop in a 2022 interview.

Wop added, “I’m masculine, so I’m a m############ king. I come from kings, royalty. I like power.” He also stated, “I ain’t soft, sweet, or none of that s###. I just wanted to put that out to the world. So everybody’s welcome to come f### with me.”

Joe Budden & Gillie Da King Clash On Social Media

There appears to be a Hip Hop podcast conflict brewing. The Joe Budden Podcast‘s Joe Budden and Million Dollaz Worth of Game‘s Gillie Da King got into a war of words over the weekend.

The recent online battle between Joe Budden and Gillie Da King apparently began after Budden took a subliminal shot at Gillie on “The Gayes Lost” episode of his bi-weekly show.

“I don’t want to hear none of the money talk from you n#####. Your headboard is covering a very small window in your primary bedroom,” said Budden. It turns out those comments were a subtle shot at Gillie Da King.

“After the washed-up rap career, in and out all the rehabs, all the beating on bit$hes, now [you] wanna podcast beef, 😂😂😂 I’ll beef when [you] start getting [some] ad money 💀 #GotEm,” tweeted Gillie on Sunday.

Joe Budden fired back at Gillie Da King from his own Twitter account. He wrote, “You selling ass out here for cheap… watch your mouth when you speak to or of me. 😭.”

Gillie Da King & Joe Budden Took Their Beef To Instagram Too

The back-and-forth between the two rappers-turned-podcasters did not just take place on Twitter. Both Joe Budden and Gillie Da King also clashed in the comments section of DJ Akademiks’s Instagram page.

“When dat money slow up [you] wanna Podcast Beef 🤦🏾‍♂️😂😂,” posted Gillie Da King. Budden responded, “@gilliedaking I ain’t like your lil ad speech… I took that personally 😭😭.”

This weekend’s internet grudge involving Joe Budden and Gillie Da King kicked off after Budden recently had issues with It Is What It Is podcast host Cam’ron. The Dipset leader referred to Budden as “Hoe Buddons” in an Instagram post.

Cam’ron’s IG diss was a response to a conversation between Drink Champs host N.O.R.E. and Joe Budden on an episode of the JBP. Budden shot back at Cam by saying the “Oh Boy” hitmaker was “too sensitive.”

Chris Brown Addresses Video Of Alleged Altercation At Lovers & Friends Festival

R&B singer Chris Brown has been in the news a lot over the last several days. One of those negative headlines covered a rumored altercation backstage at this past weekend’s Lovers & Friends Festival.

According to TMZ, footage of the alleged incident involving Chris Brown at the Las Vegas event began circulating online. However, Brown pushed back on the idea he instigated the situation.

“Y’all been geeked all weekend, y’all dragging it now,” wrote Chris Brown in an Instagram post screenshotted by The Shade Room. “It was mad people backstage and security was trying to clear everyone off the stage.”

The Breezy album creator continued, “People started pushing back. I INTERVENED to let them know MY CHILD WAS BACK THERE. So y’all keep ya narrative.”

This latest confrontation came after reports that Chris Brown’s entourage attacked Lover & Friends Festival promoter, Usher. The two stars supposedly had a falling out during a roller rink party in Las Vegas on Friday.

Brown was reportedly upset at fellow R&B musician Teyana Taylor. Video from inside Skate Rock City on the night shows the RCA recording artist seemingly yelling “shut the f### up” at Taylor.

Both Usher and Chris Brown performed their respective sets at Lovers & Friends. The star-studded lineup also featured Missy Elliott, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Lil Kim, Busta Rhymes, and more music acts.

Donald Glover Thinks He May Have Offended Tyler Perry With “Kirkwood Chocolate” Spoof

Donald Glover hopes Tyler Perry “understands” his parody of him in the TV show Atlanta.

In one episode in the show’s fourth season, Glover donned heavy prosthetic makeup to play a Black studio head named Kirkwood Chocolate, who is known for lowbrow but popular films.

Donald Glover revealed in a cover interview with GQ that he gave Perry a heads-up about the spoof but hasn’t heard from him since the episode aired in October 2022.

“I told him I was gonna do it,” he shared. “I don’t know how he took it. I texted him once, I think, for something… I didn’t hear back. That’s the thing about being Black. It becomes so personal so fast. I’m not s####### on you.”

The “Community” actor hopes Perry doesn’t see the gag as a personal attack because it was not intended that way.

“If somebody did that about me, I’d be like, that’s good. He has a right to not feel that way,” he added. “I hope (he) understands. I still want to shoot at his studio someday.”

When asked how he can commit to a joke that might offend someone, Glover explained, “Because I’m not a politician. I’m an artist, and I’m good. I’m a good artist. That’s the difference. If I didn’t think I was a good artist, then I’d be like, Maybe I shouldn’t do this. But this is nuanced and funny.”

The fourth and final season of Atlanta ended in November.

Legendary B-Boy Shabba-Doo Honored With Street-Naming Ceremony In Chicago

Breaking legend Adolfo Gutierrez Quiñones—better known as Shabba-Doo or “Ozone” from Breakin’ and Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo—is getting his own street. According to a Facebook post from his son, Vashawn Quiñones, the ceremony goes down at 2 p.m. CT on May 19 on the corner of Wolcott and Ohio in Chicago.

I’m very appreciative and thankful to the city of Chicago for honoring my father,” Vashawn tells AllHipHop. “Thank you to the many fans that keep his legacy alive and well. Shabba-Doo forever.”

As a member of The Original Lockers along with Don “Campbellock” Campbell, Fred “Rerun” Berry and Toni Basil, Shabba-Doo became one of the innovators of the dance style commonly known as locking. He was cast in Breakin’ in 1984 and the sequel that same year. Shabba-Doo also served as a choreographer to artists such as Lionel Richie, Madonna and Luther Vandross.

Shabba-Doo died unexpectedly in December 2020, just months after COVID-19 started making its global rampage. In his last Instagram post, the 65-year-old feared he was battling the virus but had just tested negative.

“Good news y’all,” he captioned a photo of himself laying in bed. “I’m feeling all better I’m just a wee bit sluggish from my cold, but the good news is I’m Covid 19 negative! Woo hoo!!! I awoke this morning to a gift from my pal, George ‘DJ 360MIX’ Jett! Thanks man! Anyway, I’m excited lots of catching up to do. Let’s gooo!

Kevin Hart On Jamie Foxx: “A Lot Of Progression”

Kevin Hart has revealed Jamie Foxx is “getting better” amid his hospitalisation for an unknown health condition.

The Oscar-winning actor was hospitalised in Atlanta, Georgia after experiencing an undisclosed “medical complication” in mid-April.

Foxx is still believed to be in hospital, but during an interview for the Impaulsive podcast Hart insisted his friend is doing much better.

“I think the dope thing is that he’s getting better in his situation, and everybody’s prayers, everybody’s love, energy, all that stuff is seen and felt,” the “Central Intelligence” actor stated. “I don’t know the details or the exact details as to what’s going on, but to my knowledge, there’s a lot of progression and a world of better.”

Kevin expressed that his “love, synergy, energy” goes out to Foxx as he is someone who is “needed” and “necessary.”

And while Jamie Foxx has not yet publicly spoken about his health scare, he returned to social media on Wednesday.

“Appreciate all the love! Feeling blessed,” the 55-year-old simply posted, without sharing any further information.

Most recently, Foxx had been filming Netflix action comedy “Back in Action.”

Freddie Gibbs Applauds Adult Star Actress Ex: “Gotta Respect A Hoe That Eat Ass”

Freddie Gibbs is using his signature brand of humor to laugh his way out of his latest controversy. Hours after he started trending on Twitter for allegedly sending a graphic photo to his ex-girlfriend, an adult actress who goes by Destini Creams, he rolled out the jokes. On Saturday (May 6), Gibbs—who’s been nicknamed “Spreadie Gibbs” by the internet—shared several memes to his un-verified Instagram account. He wrote in one of them, “Gotta respect a hoe that eat ass. U got it out the mud b####.”

That was only the tip of the proverbial iceberg. In another post to his Instagram Stories, Gibbs shared a clip of an inmate seemingly referring to some X-Rated material. He wrote at the bottom, “I prefer jelly b####” followed by a laughing emoji.

Gibbs then shared a screenshot of text he received that read: “Don’t pay her no attention. She just got you more attention. I still play Piñata everyday. Deeper is my fav song by you. Anyways, I eat ass and I’m trying to spread them cheeks and go deeper.” Gibbs wrote underneath again, “I prefer jelly, b####.”

Freddie Gibbs’ ex got the ball rolling last week, posting dozens of tweets about their relationship. The woman claimed they were planning on having a child but once she got pregnant, he stopped talking to her. At one point, she said: “Blocking me on twitter while i have a picture of you spreading your a###### in my phone is insane … imma spare them that one though.”

Gibbs’ ex has continued sharing explicit films to her Twitter page while continuing to defend her lifestyle choices as a pregnant woman.

Was Boosie Badazz Arrested Over A Gun?

Uh Oh: Boosie Badazz may have some legal issues. The Baton Rouge, Louisiana native was arrested on Saturday (May 6). Records from the San Diego Country Sheriff’s Department suggest strongly he was arrested on gun charges.

At the time of this writing, Boosie has not made any comment. Oh yeah, that’s hard if he’s in jail.

Right now, we don’t know if the rapper has secured bail or resolved the issue quickly. This could be an issue if it is “a felon in possession of a firearm” or something like that. Boosie has a past and this will not bode well for him. He was even staring at a death penalty case in his native land Louisiana on a murder charge. He beat it but still had to do several years. What is crazy is he recently talked positively about being cancer-free.

EXCLUSIVE: Afroman Breaks Silence On Ohio Police Lawsuit Following Raid At His Home

Afroman was on tour last August when he learned his Ohio home was being raided by local law enforcement. Officers obtained a warrant after getting a tip there were drugs, paraphernalia, money and weapons associated with drug trafficking and kidnapping in his home.

Afroman’s his ex-wife and kids, who live nearby, went over to the residence shortly after the scene started to unfold. She recorded parts of the raid on her phone, while other scenes were captured by Afroman’s security system. No charges came from the search yet Afroman was left with more than $20,000 in damages. He also accused police of stealing more than $5,000 in cash during the raid, which he says were earnings from performances. Needless to say, he was infuriated by the entire situation.

“I wake up for that human leak in the morning and I’m thinking I wanna get home and get back to my life,” Afroman tells AllHipHop. “I’m really not in control of my world until I get home and close the gates to my farm. I hate leaving it even though I’m going to gigs, so I was ready to get home. Then I said my little prayer and I heard something say, ‘Why take a six-hour trip with only three hours worth of sleep?’ Something said go back to sleep.”

Cops break into Afroman’s house for Lemon Pound Cake 😂 #fyp #foryourpage #policeoftiktok #afroman #cops #officer

♬ original sound – Afroman

Afroman says he woke up just before check-out time, packed up his things and headed out. Along the way, he stopped at Smoothie King. “I got me one of those big Caribbean Waves and life was just good,” he adds. But then his phone started blowing up.

“I get a phone call that the police are everywhere,” he continues. “Now just think about this. What if I would’ve left at six o’clock that morning when I first woke up. I would’ve been home. They would’ve did it to me, man. What was going through my mind was, I was marveling at what I believe to be the navigation of God. God didn’t deliver me from temptation, but he definitely delivered me from the Adams County Sheriff’s Department.”

In true Afroman fashion, he took what could’ve ended in tragedy and turned it into comedy. After posting several surveillance videos of the raid to his Instagram, somebody pointed out one of the officers seemed to zero in on the lemon pound cake sitting on Afroman’s kitchen counter.

“I was angry about the raid,” he says. “But that made me laugh and laugh and laugh. Pretty soon it was a meme and it got like eight million views on TikTok.”

So rather than sulk in anger, Afroman flipped it into a song and video called “Lemon Pound Cake.” Set to The Drifters’ 1964 hit “Under The Boardwalk,” the track makes light of the entire incident. The hook repeats, “Lemon pound cake/He want to put down his glock/Lemon pound cake/Trending on TikTok/Lemon pound cake/He’s a family guy/Lemon pound cake/Got the munchies ’cause he got high.”

But the “Lemon Pound Cake” video and merch Afroman created in response to the violation of his home are now at the center of a lawsuit. In March, seven Adams County police officers filed a lawsuit against the weed-loving rapper, accusing him of causing “emotional distress, embarrassment, ridicule, loss of reputation and humiliation.”

The plaintiffs are seeking all of Afroman’s profits from his use of their personas. That includes proceeds from the songs, music videos and live event tickets, as well as the promotion of the Afroman brand. They also want a court injunction to take down all videos and posts containing their personas.

“These guys kicked out my door,” he says. “What? You think I’m not gonna sing about it? All that money kicked down the door. That money was chasing me down the hallway with my tablet. I couldn’t write it fast enough.”

Despite the lawsuit and its potential outcome, Afroman believes he already won: “I was not going to let them beat my ass like Rodney King.” Afroman will have to go to court in the near future, but that hasn’t deterred him.

“I’m still selling it,” he says with a chuckle. “I hope this case goes on for like 15 years. I’m gonna kick the can as long as I can. I’ll be advertising more. It’s funny. They run up my house with guns and my kids are looking at these men who can destroy me and my response is a rap tape. That makes me feel really weak.

“But when they sued me, I realized my rap tape had more power than their AR-15 and their sheriff badges. They dropped their guns. They crying. I’m beating these cops up. They got stress. You got loss of reputation? You’re the first to know. I’m making another song. I don’t know if I’m going to call it ‘Lemon Pound Cake 2’ or ‘A Lawsuit.’ We about to play with all these things.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/CqQAxZ2Dkdf/?hl=en

As for how all of this started, Afroman believes it has to do with a woman he used to mess around with.

“I think this girl I had affairs with got in trouble and told them a bunch of exaggerations,” he says. “I’m hearing rumors of rumors. Somebody gotta start telling something. What I’m hearing is this girl was telling them I had girls up in my house like R. Kelly. I got a little farmhouse. It’s kinda pimped out, but I don’t got no dungeons. I’m too high and lazy to do that much work. They lucky I painted the place, you know? I’m like get outta here. I’m not one of those rappers.”

6ix9ine-Linked Shooting: Fu Banga’s Own Testimony Thwarts Sentence Reduction

A former associate of 6ix9ine has failed to get his seven-year prison sentence reduced, and he only has himself to blame for the blame.

Fu Banga, born Fuguan Lovick, attempted to get an early release for a shooting incident at the Barclays Center, but a judge shot him down.

The incident occurred amidst a feud between 6ix9ine and Casanova. As an associate of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, Fu Banga found himself in the middle of the conflict.

On April 21, 2018, Fu Banga and six other gang members, including 6ix9ine, attended a boxing match at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. 6ix9ine was scheduled to perform the entrance song for a boxer that night.

While in a hallway, the group encountered the massive entourage of rival rapper Casanova, who was part of a different Bloods set. It was then that Fu Banga drew a gun from his shoe and fired it over the heads of the rival gang, causing pandemonium.

Following his arrest on May 6, 2018, Fu Banga pleaded guilty to violent crime in aid of racketeering and firearm possession in furtherance of violent crime.

On February 12, 2020, he received a sentence of 84 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.

Fu Banga contended that his conviction for committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering did not qualify as a crime of violence because he fired the gun above the heads of the rival gang without causing any injury or death.

However, the judge disagreed, ruling that his liability was based on whether he “intentionally placed or attempted to place another person in reasonable fear of physical injury … by displaying a deadly weapon.”

During his plea hearing, he admitted to these actions and conceded that his conduct constituted an assault, so Judge Paul Engelmayer rejected the request to shave some time off of Fu Banga’s seven-year sentence.

Fu Banga is the latest gangster trying to wiggle out of a lengthy prison sentence, thanks to 6ix9ine’s cooperation with the feds.

Anthony “Harv” Ellison, another Nine Trey member, filed a motion last month claiming that 6ix9ine was responsible for his kidnapping.

Ellison believes that 6ix9ine’s criminal activities played a significant role in provoking the kidnapping and should be considered an extraordinary and compelling reason for a sentence modification.

A judge has yet to rule on Ellison’s request.

Chris Brown Almost Comes To Blows Backstage At Lovers & Friends Festival

Chris Brown reportedly had another altercation, this time at the Lovers & Friends Festival in Las Vegas on Saturday (May 6). In videos circulating online, Brown is surrounded by a group of people as he shouts at someone. He repeats, “I got it, I got it” and appears to brush off somebody trying to hold him back.

The situation is tense and looks like it could turn physical at any moment. The clip was purportedly taken during Missy Elliott’s headlining set. There are no further details on what exactly sparked the melee.

The confrontation comes just hours after Chris Brown and Usher allegedly got into a heated argument. The two were at the Skate Rock City roller rink in Las Vegas, where Brown was celebrating his 34th birthday. According to TMZ, Brown grew angry after Teyana Taylor supposedly ignored him at the party. An argument ensued and Usher attempted to intervene. Brown reportedly stomped off to his bus with Usher close behind. There, Brown and his entourage allegedly left Usher with a bloody nose.

Contrary to the report, Usher appeared on video the following day looking unscathed. Chris Brown also turned up at the Lovers & Friends event, which was founded by Usher, suggesting there was no bad blood between them.
