Shannon Sharpe Responds To Nicki Minaj Diss With Grovelling Apology

Shannon Sharpe responded to Nicki Minaj’s diss on the “Banned From NO” remix by clearing up the confusion behind his now-infamous “Nicki who?” remark during an episode of his Nightcap podcast.

The former NFL star turned media personality explained that the comment wasn’t aimed at the rapper but was actually a mix-up involving Republican politician Nikki Haley.

“I was talking about Nikki Haley,” Sharpe said. “So somebody said, ‘Nicki really wants to come on your podcast.’ I’m talking about Nikki Haley. I’m like, ‘Nicki who?'”

Minaj took the comment to heart and fired back on the track released Tuesday (June 11) with Lil Wayne, rapping, “‘I send a pic of Shannon, you ain’t that Sharpe.”

She later doubled down on social media, writing on X, “Yeah n#### you thought I forgot that ‘Nicki who’ s### you did? LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO j/k. Ochocinco almost caught a strizzy just by being around yo crazy tail self.”

Sharpe, realizing the misunderstanding had gone public, offered a direct apology to Minaj and extended an olive branch.

“Nicki, I was not trying to be disrespectful,” he explained. “Of course, I know who you are. I would be remiss to say that I thought you knew who I was or that you knew anything about ‘Club Shay Shay.’ I’m not that arrogant.”

He continued, “Nicki, I apologize. I meant no disrespect. You’ll always have an open invitation if you ever want to come sit down and have a conversation. Even if you just want to have a private conversation on the phone or something. It won’t go any further between you and I.”

Nicki Minaj Tells Shannon Sharpe Diss Was Vengeance For The Barbz

Nicki Minaj responded to Shannon Sharpe on X (Twitter), laughing the matter off.

“LOL – well we got a funny lil rap bar out of it,” she wrote. “Thank you, Shannon b/c I was like ‘chiiii what I done did now?’ You never cleared it up to the Barbz so I had to avenge them. Ochocinco you know it’s all love 4LIFE but I know you laughed when you heard it.”

EXCLUSIVE: R. Kelly Allegedly Thrown In Solitary Confinement With Spiders Crawling All Over Him

R. Kelly is locked in solitary confinement with spiders crawling across his body as he sleeps, according to his legal team, who claim he’s being punished for filing an emergency motion to escape death threats from white supremacists inside the prison walls.

The disgraced R&B singer, currently serving a 30-year sentence at the Federal Correctional Complex in Butner, North Carolina, for sex trafficking and racketeering, has been placed in isolation at a federal facility after his attorneys submitted a plea for temporary release.

Earlier this week, R. Kelly’s lawyer filed the motion describing what they called a credible murder plot involving both members of the Aryan Brotherhood and prison staff.

R. Kelly insists the threats are not speculative, claiming there is “evidence that R. Kelly’s life is threatened by prison officials and other inmates” and that he is “the target of a murder plot orchestrated by people who work in the prison system.”

The filing also claims that a prison official warned R. Kelly that “things would get worse” if he continued to fight for his rights in court.

His lawyers allege that the U.S. Bureau of Prisons responded to the emergency court filing by moving R. Kelly into solitary confinement as retaliation.

“Mr. Kelly is now living in solitary confinement. He cannot call his family. He cannot eat his own food from his locker, which he purchased from commissary. The prison officials refuse to give it to him. Mr. Kelly has spiders crawling over him as he tries to sleep. He is alone in the dark in miserable conditions,” R. Kelly’s lawyer, Beau B. Brindley, said.

They also claim R. Kelly is too afraid to eat meals from the prison kitchen due to threats of poisoning.

“Mr. Kelly is afraid to eat that food. And with good reason. The prison officials refuse to let him have his own purchased and sealed food products from his locker (things like peanut butter and crackers) and, instead, insist he must eat food from the chow hall,” Brindley added.

“That left Mr. Kelly with no way to eat without the justifiable fear that his food is being poisoned. So he has been without food for two days,’ Brindley said.

The conditions have left R. Kelly physically and mentally deteriorating. He asked for a temporary furlough to home detention.

His attorneys say R. Kelly is being treated like a violent offender despite being a victim of threats, not a perpetrator of violence.

“He is being punished for asking for legal help, not for his own safety,” the filing reads. R. Kelly’s legal team is urging the court to act swiftly, warning that the current conditions pose a threat to his health and safety.

The motion remains pending as of Friday (June 13).

Diddy Alleged Victim Speaks Out Publicly: “This Is About Accountability”

Sean “Diddy” Combs accuser Chelsea Lovelace broke her silence in a new interview, revealing herself as the woman behind a sexual assault lawsuit against the disgraced mogul, saying her decision to go public is “about accountability.”

Diddy’s former girlfriend had filed the lawsuit under the alias “Jane Doe” in September 2024, accusing him of drugging her, coercing her into group sex, and using financial control to manipulate her during their four-year relationship.

“There was a time I truly believed we shared something real. In my heart, for a time I believed he genuinely cared about me,” Lovelace told Rolling Stone. “That we both cared for one another in a way that meant something. But over time, that illusion shattered. And with it, so did parts of me.”

She added, “What I once thought was love and loyalty, quickly turned into manipulation, control and abuse. I was not seen as a person with a soul, but as a pawn in a much larger game.”

Lovelace alleges that Diddy, who is currently facing federal charges including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, repeatedly pressured her into “freak-offs,” a term she says he used for group sex sessions.

She claims she was drugged at his Miami residence in July 2024 and forced to take Ecstasy and ketamine, which sometimes caused her to lose consciousness.

Lovelace said Diddy gave her a regular allowance, which she described as a tool he used to control her as she pulled back from her own career.

“I didn’t want to believe it. I wrestled with God, with my heart, with my own silence. Filing this lawsuit — first as Jane Doe, and now as myself — is not an act of revenge. It is an act of release,” she said. “Of standing in my truth. Of choosing healing over hiding. This is about dignity. This is about accountability. This is about the countless times I told myself to be quiet and stay loyal—until silence became too heavy to bear.”

The lawsuit is one of several legal battles Diddy is facing. Multiple people have accused him of misconduct spanning three decades. He has denied all allegations.

Sheriff Delivers Chilling Warning To Protesters In Florida: “We Will Kill You”

Florida sheriff Wayne Ivey delivered a chilling warning Thursday (June 12) during a press conference in Brevard County, telling anti-ICE protesters that any violent action toward law enforcement would be met with deadly force, saying, “We will kill you graveyard dead.”

Ivey made no effort to soften his tone as he laid out the consequences for anyone who escalates peaceful protests into physical confrontations with deputies.

“Throw a brick, a firebomb or point a gun at one of our deputies, we will be notifying your family where to collect your remains at,” Ivey said. “Because we will kill you graveyard dead. We’re not going to play.”

His remarks came as demonstrations against the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement policies continue to spread across Florida and the country.

The sheriff said lawful protests are permitted but drew a hard line at any form of violence, warning that deputies would respond with lethal force if necessary.

Ivey also said that anyone blocking roads, resisting arrest or fleeing from deputies would be jailed.

He added that spitting on or striking an officer would result in both hospitalization and incarceration, possibly involving K-9 units.

Day of Protest Planned Amid “No Kings” campaign

The comments, delivered amid rising tensions following unrest in Los Angeles and other cities, drew sharp backlash from civil rights advocates and political observers.

Critics say the rhetoric could inflame tensions and erode public trust in law enforcement.

Protests in Florida have ramped up in recent days, mirroring a national wave of dissent over immigration raids and the broader political climate. Demonstrators have taken to the streets in cities like Pensacola, where hundreds marched through downtown chanting and holding signs.

A major day of protest is scheduled for Saturday across South Florida, stretching from the Keys to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach County as part of the “No Kings” campaign, which opposes authoritarianism and militarized governance.

The “No Kings” movement coincides with a $100 million military parade in Washington, D.C., organized by the Trump administration.

Drake Fans’ “OVO Takeover” Outside Kendrick Lamar’s Toronto Concert Ends Abruptly

Drake stans hoping to stage an “OVO Takeover” outside Kendrick Lamar’s Toronto concert on Thursday night (June 12) were reportedly met with a swift police response that shut down the gathering before it could take off.

The event, organized by local Drake supporters, was meant to be a peaceful show of hometown pride during Lamar’s Grand National Tour stop at Rogers Centre.

The plan included blasting Drake’s music, handing out free pizza and OVO hoodies, and celebrating Toronto’s Hip-Hop scene—no drama, no tension, just vibes.

But things didn’t go as planned.

“Unfortunately, we have to cancel the OVO Takeover,” organizers said in a statement shared on social media. “We genuinely just wanted to bring people together, have some fun, and create good vibes for the city.

“But unfortunately, some people decided to report us, falsely claiming we were planning to ‘start trouble’ or cause chaos. Because of those reports, police were already on high alert and were quick to shut down anything that even looked like a crowd forming – including us.”

The event began as a joke online, but quickly gained traction, sparking genuine interest from Drake’s base. Organizers expressed frustration but made it clear they weren’t giving up.

Kai Cenat Cancels Livestream With Drake

Meanwhile, the OVO Takeover wasn’t the only Drake-related plan shelved Thursday night.

A highly anticipated livestream between Kai Cenat and Drake, initially set for Wednesday (June 11), was first delayed to Thursday (June 12) to allow more time to review submissions for the “Somebody Loves Me” music video contest.

But just hours before the rescheduled stream, Cenat announced another postponement via Instagram Stories.

He told followers the team needed more time to finalize the video treatments and apologized for the delay.

The livestream was supposed to unveil 20 winners, each receiving $15,000 to create a segment of the music video for Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s track “Somebody Loves Me.”

No new date for the stream has been announced.

Kendrick Lamar Has Toronto Chanting “One More Time” After “Not Like Us”

Kendrick Lamar brought his Grammy-winning diss track “Not Like Us” to the heart of Drake’s hometown during a tour stop in Toronto on Thursday night (June 12), and the crowd didn’t want it to end.

Video from the show shows Lamar towering over the audience as they erupted into chants of “one more time” after he performed the blistering track aimed at the Toronto rapper.

The crowd didn’t hold back, either—another clip captured concertgoers yelling “certified pedophile” and shouting “A-Minor,” echoing scathing lyrics from the song. Others repeatedly screamed “OVHoes” about Drake’s OVO brand.

The Toronto performance marked one of the most charged moments of Kendrick Lamar’s 2025 tour, especially considering the city’s deep ties to Drake. The song, which accuses Drake of misconduct and cultural theft, has become a cultural flashpoint in their ongoing feud.

“Not Like Us” first made headlines in 2024 when it dropped amid a flurry of diss tracks exchanged between the two Hip-Hop heavyweights.

But it was Lamar’s high-profile performance of the song during the Super Bowl halftime show that cemented its status as a defining moment in their rivalry.

The track has since gone multi-platinum and earned multiple Grammy Awards, but it has also landed in legal trouble.

In January 2025, Drake filed a federal defamation lawsuit against Universal Music Group, alleging the label promoted the song despite what he claims are “false and dangerous” accusations that portray him as a pedophile.

UMG responded with a motion to dismiss, arguing that the lyrics are protected as opinion and rhetorical expression.

A judge has allowed the case to proceed to discovery, granting Drake access to internal documents and contracts related to the song’s promotion.

Top 5 Things to Know Before Hiring a Drywaller in DC

Drywall jobs can go smooth, or they can go sideways fast. One minute you’re fixing up your space — next thing, you’ve got uneven seams, dust everywhere, and a contractor that won’t pick up the phone. We’ve all heard the stories. Some of us have lived them.

Have you ever paid for a “quick fix” that turned into weeks of stress?
Does that seam on your living room wall still catch the light the wrong way?

Here’s what you should actually know before hiring a drywall contractor in DC — especially if you want it done right the first time.

Table of Contents

  1. Not All Contractors Are Drywallers
  2. Ask About Dust Control and Cleanup
  3. Know the Right Drywall for the Right Room
  4. Understand Pricing in DC
  5. Confirm They Serve Your Exact Neighborhood
  6. FAQs
  7. Final Thoughts

1. Not All Contractors Are Drywallers

There’s drywall… and then there’s drywall that holds up, blends in, and disappears behind fresh paint like it was always part of the room. Not everyone gets that right.

One time I walked into a home in Brookland — the paint was decent, but the drywall underneath? You could see every seam at sunset. That’s not just bad craftsmanship. That’s someone who wasn’t a drywaller.

Ask yourself:
Did they show up with references — or just a price?
Do they specialize in drywall or treat it like a side hustle?

2. Ask About Dust Control and Cleanup

Drywall sanding isn’t just messy — it gets in your vents, your laptop keyboard, your coffee mug two rooms away. A real drywall crew knows this. They seal doors with plastic, use HEPA vacs, and clean up every night like they’re living there.

If they don’t mention cleanup? That’s your sign to pause.

When I had a room done last winter, I walked in and thought someone had thrown baby powder on the floor. They never taped anything off. I still find dust in the closet.

Do they treat your home like a job site or like someone’s home?
Have they told you what cleanup even looks like?

3. Know the Right Drywall for the Right Room

Drywall isn’t one-type-fits-all. Bathrooms need mold resistance. Garages need fire ratings. Basement walls need to breathe — or you’ll be calling someone for mildew next summer.

If your contractor doesn’t ask what the room is used for, they’re not thinking long-term. They’re just thinking “done.”

Have they recommended materials or just listed prices?
Did they talk about moisture, sound, or fire — or skip all that?

4. Understand Pricing in DC

In DC, you’re looking at $1.50 to $3.50 per square foot, depending on finish and complexity. That’s not random. That’s standard. What matters is the breakdown.

If you’ve ever had someone give you a number and shrug when you ask why — yeah, that’s not a pro. Ask for details: labor, materials, taping level (yes, that’s a thing), and cleanup.

Did they explain where your money is going?
Did it feel like a deal — or a shortcut?

5. Confirm Drywall Contractors Serve Your Exact Neighborhood

People love to say “we serve all of DC.” But when they hear you’re in Anacostia or Fort Totten, their energy changes. Suddenly, they’re booked up or “can’t get parking.”

If they’ve really worked citywide, they’ll say where. They’ll have stories. They’ll name streets. If they dodge the question, that’s your answer.

Have they done jobs near you, or just said ‘the DMV’? Lol
Did you feel reassured — or brushed off?

Final Thoughts

Drywall is what makes a room feel finished — and bad drywall is what makes it feel off. Don’t rush this. Ask real questions. Trust your gut. Look past the quote.

Have you ever trusted the wrong contractor?
What would you ask differently next time?

Antonio Brown Wanted On Attempted Murder Charge After Miami Shooting

Antonio Brown is now the subject of an arrest warrant in Miami-Dade County after authorities say he fired a gun during a confrontation outside a celebrity boxing event on Thursday (May 16).

According to CBS News, the 36-year-old former NFL wide receiver is accused of punching a man, grabbing a firearm from a security guard, and firing two rounds while chasing the individual through the Little Haiti neighborhood.

Surveillance and cellphone footage reportedly captured the entire sequence, and witnesses identified Brown as the shooter.

The man who was allegedly shot at told police that a bullet grazed his neck. He later confirmed Brown’s identity after reviewing the video evidence.

Brown was briefly detained following the incident but was released hours later.

He addressed the situation on social media on May shortly after his detention.

“I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me,” he wrote. “Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED.”

Brown added, “I will be talking to my legal council and attorneys on pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me. I will keep you all posted step-by-step on the process.”

The warrant issued for Brown includes a $10,000 bond and stipulates that, if arrested, he must remain under house arrest while awaiting trial.

Antonio Brown, who last played in the NFL in 2021, has a long record of legal entanglements.

His past includes a rape lawsuit filed in 2019 and settled in 2021, a 2020 assault arrest, falsifying COVID-19 vaccination records in 2021, and a bankruptcy filing in 2024.

Harvey Weinstein’s Lawyer Make Startling Prediction About Diddy RICO Case

Diddy and Harvey Weinstein found themselves at the center of two of the most high-profile legal battles in recent memory and now the attorney who just defended Weinstein is weighing in on Diddy’s federal RICO case—calling it shaky at best.

Arthur Aidala, who represented Weinstein through his latest New York retrial, told TMZ that federal prosecutors have a long road ahead if they want to make racketeering charges stick against Diddy.

“From the testimony I’ve heard so far, the prosecution still—apparently, they have a week of evidence left. They got their work cut out for them to make this a RICO case,” Aidala said outside the federal courthouse.

Aidala’s remarks came just one day after his client, Weinstein, was convicted on one count of first-degree criminal sexual act for assaulting production assistant Miriam Haley in 2006.

The jury acquitted Weinstein on another charge and deadlocked on a third, leading to a partial mistrial.

The verdict added to Weinstein’s already lengthy prison sentence, including a 16-year term from a California conviction he is appealing, according to NBC News.

As for Diddy, he is facing a sweeping federal indictment that includes allegations of sex trafficking, forced labor, drug distribution and firearms violations.

Prosecutors claim he led a criminal enterprise that used his music and business empire to facilitate and conceal serious crimes, including the trafficking of men and women and acts of violence.

Diddy’s trial, which started May 12, featured several high-profile witnesses, including Cassie, who testified about the abuse she suffered at her ex-boyfriend’s hands and his proclivity for baby oil and men’s semen.

A former assistant known as Mia testified that Diddy physically abused her and sexually assaulted her while she worked for him.

Earlier this week, a witness identified only as “Jane” echoed much of Cassie’s testimony regarding freak-offs, drug use, Diddy’s fondness for sperm and forced sexual intercourse with a variety of male escorts.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys believe that Diddy’s trial will wrap up in the first week of July.

Despite such sensational testimony, Aidala questioned whether the federal courthouse is the proper venue for such charges.

“This is the Federal courthouse [where he is standing], where there are no real strong sex abuse, sex charges, whereas that’s the State courthouse, where there’s a ton of them. So if Mr. Combs was charged with the same type of crimes in that courthouse [State], I think he’d have a big problem. But in this courthouse, it’s a stretch.”

Aidala’s comments come as Diddy continues to deny all allegations and has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Meanwhile, Weinstein’s legal saga is far from over.

Manhattan prosecutors said they are prepared to retry him on the unresolved rape charge involving Jessica Mann.

A hearing to determine the next steps is scheduled for July 2.

Diddy Exploded Over Jane’s Freak-Off With Another “Iconic” Rapper According To Testimony

Diddy erupted in rage after learning a woman testifying as “Jane” had attended a “freak-off” with another rapper, then allegedly forced her into a sexual act with a different man, she testified Thursday (June 12) in federal court.

The moment came during Jane’s sixth day on the stand in the federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial against the Bad Boy Records mogul.

She described a violent confrontation in their home after Diddy discovered text messages about her trip to Las Vegas with another man.

According to Jane, Diddy slapped her “hard” after she called him a “b####” during the argument. He then allegedly demanded she change clothes and handed her phone to another man, Antoine, whom she had previously invited over.

She said at some point, Diddy read her messages and became enraged over her involvement in another man’s sex party. “He yelled, ‘How could you go to another man’s freak-off?'” she testified.

Jane said she refused when Diddy ordered her to have sex with Antoine, but he pushed a pill in her face.

She testified that she eventually performed oral sex on Antoine under pressure. She said Diddy then dismissed Antoine and she later sent him money. She also clarified that the sexual act with Antoine was not consensual, describing it as “forced oral sex.”

This marked the first time, Jane said, that she and Diddy didn’t engage in intimacy after one of these encounters. She said he kept repeating his anger about her attending another rapper’s sex party.

During redirect questioning by federal prosecutor Maureen Comey, Jane described a pattern of coercion and emotional manipulation.

She said Diddy threatened to release explicit videos of her in December 2023 and pressured her to continue sexual encounters with others even when she was physically ill.

Jane also testified that she tried to signal her discomfort during Diddy’s drug binges by sighing or making faces. “He would say, ‘Push through. One more round,'” she said.

Jane broke down on the stand while explaining how she felt forced to violate her personal boundaries to please Diddy. Jane also revealed she sent Diddy a photo of a bloody tampon to show she was on her period, hoping to avoid another encounter.

By 2023, she said she had become more vocal about wanting to stop the “hotel nights” but felt trapped because he had begun paying her rent. She said he repeatedly threatened to cut her off financially if she didn’t comply.

The Department of Justice accuses Diddy of running a criminal enterprise that exploited women through manipulation, violence and sex trafficking. The defense has denied all allegations and filed a second motion for a mistrial.

Jane finished her testimony and will no longer be expected on the stand. The trial will resume Friday (June 13).

Millions Of People Get Ready To Protest Trump On “No King Day”

Donald Trump will celebrate his 79th birthday on Saturday (June 14) with a $45 million military parade in Washington, but nearly 2,000 protests across the country are set to overshadow the spectacle.

Organizers from the 50501 Movement, Indivisible, the ACLU and a coalition of labor and environmental groups are coordinating the “No King” day demonstrations, with millions of people expected to turn out in all 50 states.

“They’ve defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights, and slashed our services. The corruption has gone too. far. No thrones. No crowns. No kings,” organizers said in a statement.

The largest rally will take place in Philadelphia, while other cities across the country will host marches, teach-ins, and community events.

Notably, no protests are planned in Washington, where security will be tight with 18 miles of fencing, 175 metal detectors and surveillance drones in place. The Secret Service, FBI and local police will monitor the area throughout the day.

The protests are timed to coincide with Donald Trump’s birthday and the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary, which the parade is officially meant to honor.

According to ABC News Donald Trump’s birthday and military parade will feature more than 6,600 troops, 28 Abrams tanks, and dozens of military vehicles, culminating in a fireworks show over the National Mall at 9:45 p.m.

Donald Trump has drawn criticism for using military displays as a form of political theater.

Opponents accuse him of behaving like a monarch, citing recent ICE raids, federal crackdowns on dissent and his alignment with billionaire allies like Elon Musk.

His critics argue that the parade is less about patriotism and more about power.

The decentralized protest model allows local leaders to tailor events to their communities. Some will focus on immigration raids, while others will concentrate on climate justice or voting rights.

Prosecutors Move To Boot Juror From Diddy Trial Over Alleged Lies

Diddy became the center of courtroom tension Thursday (June 12) as federal prosecutors moved to disqualify a juror in his high-profile trial, accusing the man of misleading the court.

The government claims Juror #6, a Black man, failed to be truthful during jury selection. Prosecutors cited a “lack of candor” and said they were “reluctant” to raise the issue but felt “compelled” to act.

The defense fired back, arguing the juror’s removal would disproportionately affect the racial makeup of the panel. They said Juror #6 is one of the few Black individuals seated.

Defense attorneys for Diddy requested time to file a written objection and examine relevant legal precedents before any ruling was made.

Judge Arun Subramanian has not yet issued a decision and will consider arguments from both sides before determining whether to dismiss the juror.

The exact nature of the alleged dishonesty remains sealed and the court has not released further details. Juror #6 remained on the panel for at least one day while the matter remained unresolved.

The dispute over the juror has raised concerns about the potential for a mistrial if the issue is not addressed correctly.

Diddy Accuser Demanded $100K Per Year For Relationship, Says Another Rapper & Half-Dozen People Watched Sex Party

Diddy scored major points in federal court Thursday (June 12) when his accuser, known publicly as Jane, testified she wanted $100,000 for each year she spent with him, totaling over $400,000, as compensation for what she described as “wasted” time.

The testimony came during Jane’s sixth day on the witness stand in the ongoing federal racketeering and sex trafficking trial against the Hip-Hop mogul.

Under cross-examination by defense attorney Teny Geragos, Jane confirmed she had written that she wanted $450,000 from Diddy, citing emotional and psychological tolls.

Jane also described a January 2024 trip to Las Vegas that involved a well-known rapper, his partner and a male sex worker named Anton.

According to Jane, she and Combs were aware that Anton, who had previously been hired by them for “hotel nights,” would also be traveling with the rapper and his significant other.

During a birthday dinner for the rapper’s partner, Jane said she was surprised to see Anton there but didn’t question it. Later that night, she testified, a group of seven or eight people gathered in a hotel room to watch Anton have sex with a woman.

Jane said the rapper flirted with her and told her he had “always wanted to ‘blank'” her.

Geragos asked if the rapper was close with Combs and if they had worked together. Jane confirmed both. She also admitted to flashing her breasts during the hotel room encounter, saying it happened in the “moment.”

The defense pressed Jane on her shifting characterizations of the relationship. She acknowledged that Combs had once described himself as “single” and “polyamorous,” which she said hurt her.

Jane also confirmed that she had physically lashed out at Combs during an argument, pushing his head into a counter and throwing a candle at him. She said it was the only time their interactions turned physical on her part.

Doechii Teases Swamp Sessions Return While Celebrating Career High

Doechii hinted at the return of her fan-favorite Swamp Sessions on Tuesday (June 11) while unboxing her Grammy for Best Rap Album, marking a full-circle moment for the Tampa-born rapper whose breakout mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal earned her a place in Hip-Hop history.

“Alligator Bites Never Heal will be a year old in like 2 months yall… time really flew by,” she wrote on Instagram. “Who woulda thought the Swamp Sessions would’ve got me this far, maybe it’s time to bring em back idkkk.”

The post came with a video of her opening the Grammy she won earlier this year, becoming only the third woman to ever win Best Rap Album after Lauryn Hill and Cardi B.

“Wow, what an accomplishment,” she said in the clip. “I want to cry, but I’m not going to. This is amazing.”

Before the Grammy, before the Tiny Desk concert that lit up December 2024, and before the acclaim, there were the Swamp Sessions—a raw, self-imposed creative challenge where Doechii wrote and recorded a whole song in under an hour, then dropped it on YouTube.

Tracks like “BULLFROG,” “CATFISH,” “FLORIDA WATA,” “SUNDAY’S BEST” and “BOOM BAP” became weekly snapshots of her evolution.

The series helped shape her image as the “Swamp Princess,” blending classic Hip-Hop rhythms with experimental production and a deep connection to her Florida roots.

Critics praised the sessions for their stripped-down approach and fearless experimentation, helping solidify her as one of the genre’s most promising new voices.

Silento Breaks Silence After 30-Year Sentence—Promises Redemption

Silento vowed to keep creating music and focus on personal growth after receiving a 30-year prison sentence for the 2021 shooting death of his cousin in Georgia.

The rapper, born Ricky Lamar Hawk, was sentenced Tuesday (June 11) by DeKalb County Superior Court Judge Courtney Johnson after pleading guilty but mentally ill to voluntary manslaughter and several related charges.

The plea deal included aggravated assault, firearm possession during a felony and concealing a death.

The 27-year-old admitted to killing 34-year-old Frederick Rooks III outside a Decatur home in January 2021.

Following the sentencing, Silento’s publicist, Chanel Hudson, released a statement on his behalf, thanking those who’ve stood by him during the legal ordeal.

In a personal message shared through Hudson, Silento addressed his future behind bars.

Lil Baby Snatches Streamer’s Diamond Chain—Tells Him Him To Call Police

Lil Baby yanked Jack Doherty’s diamond chain off his neck during a club appearance and refused to give it back, sparking a viral reaction.

The Atlanta rapper was caught on video unclasping the streamer’s necklace mid-conversation onstage, slipping it into his pocket while cameras captured the entire exchange.

Doherty, seemingly unaware at first, realized what happened only after Lil Baby had already jacked the chain.

Later, when Doherty confronted him outside as he was leaving in a Mercedes G-Wagon, the streamer asked, “I need my chain, bro.”

Lil Baby shut him down and responded, “Call the police. Lawsuit,” before driving off.

Doherty, visibly frustrated, turned to the camera and said, “It’s on camera, bro, like what? He thinks he can take my chain and get away with it. This is hilarious. There’s no way this is real.”

The video quickly made the rounds online, sparking a mix of ridicule and disbelief. Some users mocked Doherty for once again losing pricey jewelry, while others questioned whether the whole thing was staged for attention.

Earlier this year, Doherty claimed he was robbed of a $300,000 chain, and Lil Baby later offered to buy him a replacement.

Adding fuel to the speculation, Doherty posted the clip with the caption, “Lil Baby actually took my chain.”

Lil Baby then uploaded a video to Instagram flaunting the chain, which Doherty reposted with the caption “W lil baby.”

The internet didn’t hold back. One commenter wrote, “how much you pay lilbaby for this script? 10k? 20k? why in all your scripts you like looking like a b####.”

Another added, “Bro flexing the fact ppl can take advantage of you is not a flex no such thing as bad publicity tho.” A third chimed in, “At this point he’s just doing it for clout lmfao.”

K. Michelle Checks Interviewer Who Dismissed Her Country Background In Viral Exchange

K. Michelle shut down a dismissive question about her country music background during an interview at CMA Fest 2025 after the interviewer implied she was new to the genre.

The tense moment came during a sit-down with American Songwriter when the host asked her to introduce herself, saying, “You didn’t grow up here in country music.”

The comment didn’t sit well with Michelle, who quickly corrected the record.

“You do this all the time,” she fired back. “I did grow up in country music. I’m from Memphis, Tennessee. I got a scholarship for yodeling — that’s how I paid for college.”

Michelle, who has long been vocal about the barriers she has faced in the country music industry, didn’t hold back.

“I was told I couldn’t sing country music because I was Black,” she added. “But it was something I had always been doing, and I will continue to do. I didn’t fly here — I grew here.”

When the interviewer tried to soften the exchange by pointing out, “We just haven’t heard you on contemporary country radio,” Michelle doubled down.

“Well, you don’t hear a lot of women on contemporary radio period right now, okay,” she replied. “And you really don’t hear a Black one. But you will.”

The exchange quickly went viral online, with social media users rallying behind Michelle and criticizing the interviewer’s lack of preparation.

“CLEARED HER!” one user wrote in a reposted clip.

Another added, “& the person interviewing K would know that IF SHE DID ACTUAL RESEARCH ON K MICHELLE. how are you a journalist and you don’t know anything about the artist you’re interviewing?! even i knew about Kimbers yodeling vocal history.”

Some drew comparisons to Beyoncé, who has also faced criticism while stepping into country music.

“lol K Michelle said all the stuff Beyonce can’t say,” one user commented.

Another wrote, “She didn’t do her research AT ALL. K. Michelle has been trying to get recognized in country music since the beginning of time. Since Beyoncé made her album, they finally started giving black country singers [a little] credit.”
