The “Bounce Back” rapper attracted a similar crowd size to the British star – who served as a headliner – on Friday’s festival’s opening night.

On Saturday, Sean shared a screenshot of the article on his Instagram Stories and added: “Except he got paid way, way, way, way more than me (laughing emoji).”

The post has since been deleted.

Officials for Coachella have not yet commented on the report.

The rapper, real name Sean Anderson, is due to take the stage at the festival in Indio, California, again on April 22nd.

DaBaby’s Bowling Alley Brawl Case Stalls

Back in February, footage of DaBaby and his crew attacking DaniLeigh’s brother, Brandon “Bill$” Curiel, spread across the internet. Reports suggested police officers began investigating the violent incident that took place at a Los Angeles-area bowling alley.

According to TMZ, law enforcement officials have hit a snag in the case at the moment. Apparently, Brandon Bill$ decided not to assist with the assault investigation.

The celebrity news website claims despite the fact the brawl was filmed, investigators are finding it difficult to move forward with the case without cooperation from the alleged victim. The investigation is said to be active.

Jonathan “DaBaby” Kirk and Danielle “DaniLeigh” Curiel have a child together. Over the last several months, both recording artists faced accusations of physical abuse against each other. Brandon Bill$ also claimed DaBaby assaulted his sister before challenging him to a charity boxing match.

Last November, Charlotte, North Carolina officials charged DaniLeigh with two counts of simple assault after DaBaby called the authorities during an alleged domestic dispute. However, DaBaby stated he did not want to press charges against the mother of his child.

While Brandon Bill$ apparently refuses to work with Los Angeles County officers, the 29-year-old “BUM BUM” performer did sue DaBaby. Bill$ wants compensation for medical bills costs and emotional distress. DaBaby’s attorney, Drew Findling, called the lawsuit a “quick money grab.”

Meanwhile, DaBaby dropped his latest body of work on March 4. The Better than You collaborative mixtape with YoungBoy Never Broke Again peaked at #10 on the Billboard 200 chart. DaBaby insisted Better than You is the best joint project since Jay-Z and Kanye West’s classic Watch The Throne.

Fivio Foreign Touts Chart Success To Shade 6ix9ine

Who is the current King of New York? Two rhymers from the same borough – Fivio Foreign and Tekashi 6ix9ine – are attempting to lay claim to that title.

6ix9ine recently took aim at Fivio Foreign as the Brooklyn Drill rapper promoted his debut studio album titled B.I.B.L.E. The controversial entertainer-turned-government witness referred to Fivio as Nicki Minaj and Kanye West’s sidekick.

Things escalated from there with Tekashi even making jokes about Fivio Foreign’s friend, Tahjay “TDott Woo” Dobson, being murdered. It appears Fivio feels like he got the last laugh because of B.I.B.L.E.’s placement on the Billboard 200 chart.

“My Debut Album is #9 [on Billboard]. That’s in the whole world. From where I came from that’s a win 🏆,” tweeted Fivio Foreign on Sunday. B.I.B.L.E. debuted this week at #9 on the Billboard 200 with 29,000 first-week units.

Fivio Foreign had more to say about B.I.B.L.E.’s chart success. The “City of Gods” performer also took a not-so-subtle shot at 6ix9ine on Instagram while pointing out that several of his songs are doing well on Apple Music’s NYC chart.

“😂😂😂😂😂And this is why I don’t respond to these lame-ass weirdo clout [chasing] n#####. [You] could buy [YouTube views] but you [can’t] buy chart positions,” posted Fivio Foreign on his Instagram Story.

He continued, “Everything this kid [has] ever said has been [a] lie and everything [else] is [gonna be] a lie. I apologize to the real 1’s out there [that’s] mad I’m entertaining this s### but fans must [know]. What’s really [going] on in NY👑🗽.”

Both Fivio Foreign & 6ix9ine Have Songs On Apple Music Charts

As of press time, Fivio Foreign’s “What’s My Name” featuring Queen Naija and Coi Leray sits at #2 on Apple Music’s Top 25: New York City daily rankings. “City of Gods” with Kanye West and Alicia Keys (#5), “For Nothin” (#8), and “World Watching” with Lil Tjay and Yung Bleu (#11) are also listed on the NYC-focused chart.

In contrast, 6ix9ine’s new track “Giné” presently places at #13 among the Top 25 songs on Apple Music’s New York City chart. Plus, “What’s My Name” and “City of Gods” hold the #31 and #47 spots, respectively, on the streamer’s daily Top 100: USA chart while “Giné” sits at #86.

B.I.B.L.E. is Fivio Foreign’s first Top 10 entry on the Billboard 200. 6ix9ine has three Top Tenners – 2018’s Day69 (#4), 2018’s Dummy Boy (#2), and 2020’s Tattletales (#4). The latter project brought in a lower-than-expected 53,000 first-week units before falling off the Billboard 200 after just three weeks.

Lil Durk’s ‘7220’ Jumps Back To No. 1 On The Albums Chart

Once again, Lil Durk has the most commercially successful album in America. The Chicago-bred rapper’s 7220 returned to #1 on the latest Billboard 200 chart.

7220 brought in an additional 47,000 equivalent album units during the latest tracking period. Lil Durk’s seventh studio LP managed to barely hold off Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album (46,500 units) in order to retake the pole position.

Country singer Morgan Wallen appears on the 7220 single “Broadway Girls” which peaked at #1 on the Hot Rap Songs chart, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, and other rap-centered charts. The project also features rappers Future and Gunna as well as R&B performer Summer Walker.

Around 46,000 of the 47,000 units for 7220 this week came from streaming platforms. The Only The Family/Alamo Records/Sony Music Entertainment release collected 69 million on-demand streams over the seven-day stretch.

Back in March, Lil Durk earned his first solo Number One on the Billboard 200 when 7220 topped the rankings. Previously, the Hop Hop star also made it to No. 1 thanks to The Voice of the Heroes collaborative album with Atlanta’s Lil Baby.

Additionally, Lil Durk rose to the pinnacle of the Artist 100 chart in March. Billboard classified Durk as the most popular music act in the country during that period because he led that particular tally.

Elsewhere on the most recent Billboard 200, 42 Dugg and EST Gee’s Last Ones Left opened at #7 with 30,000 first-week units. Fivio Foreign’s B.I.B.L.E. came in at #9 with 29,000 first-week units. Drake’s Certified Lover Boy (#6) and Doja Cat’s Planet Her (#8) remained in the Top 10 for another week.

Asian Doll Slams Erica Banks For Her Nicki Minaj Comments

It seems there is a cold war taking place among some of the female rappers like Asian Doll and Erica Banks. For weeks, there has been tension among some women in Hip Hop over getting acknowledged by Nicki Minaj.

Recently, Erica Banks expressed her frustration over not receiving an official Nicki Minaj feature. Banks shared her thoughts on the Queen album creator during an interview with the Big Facts Podcast.

“There was a person who made a tweet and she said, ‘I need somebody to get on the remix of my song.’ And a fan was like, ‘Why don’t you get Nicki Minaj on the song?’ And she was like, ‘I love Nicki. But I just feel like I’ve been trying to reach out to her for a long time. I just feel like she kinda ignores me and I feel like she entertains the girls who really don’t even know how to rap,'” recalled Erica Banks.

The 1501 Certified Entertainment signee added, “I commented and I said, ‘I agree.’ I agree that Nicki kinda f#### with the girls who can’t really rap when you got the girls over here who really do. Now some people might get mad at me for saying that, but it’s the truth. Everybody can’t rap.”

Baby Tate is the person Erica Banks was referring to in her conversation with DJ Scream, Big Bank, and Baby Jade. At the time, Asian Doll fired back at both Tate and Banks by claiming Minaj would not do a song with either them before doing a song with her.

Some social media users then began comparing Erica Banks’s comments from Big Facts about Nicki Minaj to Asian Doll allegedly shading Minaj during her feud with Katie Got Bandz. Asian Doll took to Twitter to push back on that narrative and to sub-tweet Erica Banks.

“Ayo don’t speak on me including me & my name & everything I’ve built randomly involving me in the next b#### situation [the f###] she sounded dumb as f### we nun alike keep that s### over there [for real]. I don’t agree or respect s### she said so the side by side pics ain’t giving at all bye,” posted Asian Doll.

Asian Doll has stated she is a longtime fan of Nicki Minaj on many occasions. However, some of Minaj’s followers took issue with Asian posting Cardi B’s new song “Shake It” on her Instagram page. Nicki and Cardi have been rivals for years.

Erica Banks suggesting Nicki Minaj only works with female artists that do not know how to rap caused a commotion online as well. Minaj has appeared on songs with Lil Kim, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Trina, Foxy Brown, Doja Cat, Bia, and Coi Leray. Most of those collaborations came out in the last three years.

Lizzo Performs “About Damn Time” & “Special” On ‘SNL’

Rapper/singer Lizzo made her return to Saturday Night Live this weekend. The Atlantic recording artist served as the host and the musical guest for the show.

Lizzo hit the stage inside New York City’s Studio 8H to perform two songs. First, she ran through “About Damn Time” which was followed by “Special” later in the program.

Both “About Damn Time” and “Special” are expected to live on Lizzo’s forthcoming studio LP titled Special. The project will stream on DSPs beginning June 15.

Special will join a discography that includes 2013’s Lizzobangers, 2015’s Big Grrrl Small World, and 2019’s Cuz I Love You. Last year, Lizzo dropped “Rumors” featuring Cardi B. That Gold-certified track debuted at #4 on the Hot 100 chart.

“I think that the music really is going to speak for itself. I’m writing songs about love from every direction, and I hope that I can turn a little bit of the fear that’s been running rampant in this world, energetically into love,” said Lizzo in a New Music Daily interview with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe.

The Detroit-born, Houston-raised entertainer continued, “That’s the point. I had a lot of fear, and I had to do the work on myself, and this music is some of that work in turning that fear into love. I hope that when people listen to this album, it makes their day just a little bit better, a little bit more filled with love.”

In addition to performing on Saturday Night Live, Lizzo also appeared in several segments for the NBC sketch-comedy series. She also addressed her TED Talk on the history of twerking and internet rumors during her SNL monologue.

Snoop Dogg Reveals Why He Removed Death Row Catalog From Streaming Services

Snoop Dogg explained why his first act as the new owner of Death Row Records was removing most of the label’s catalog from streaming platforms.

The west coast legend discussed the move with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN during a recent episode of Drink Champs.

“First thing I did was snatch all the music off those platforms traditionally known to people, because those platforms don’t pay,” Snoop Dogg revealed. “And those platforms get millions of millions of streams, and nobody gets paid other than the record labels. So what I wanted to do is snatch my music off, create a platform similar to Amazon, Netflix, Hulu. It’ll be a Death Row app, and the music, in the meantime, will live in the metaverse.”

Snoop Doog Said It’s All About “Power” & Control”

He added that he did it “on purpose,” because he’s taking back “power” and “control.” He then went on to discuss how even the most popular musicians only make a fraction of a cent for every stream. He plans to launch his own subscription service where the entire catalog will be available. Watch the episode below.

Snoop Dogg announced that he acquired the rights to Death Row Records just days ahead of his performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. He also revealed his plans to make Death Row the first NFT record label.

“Death Row will be an NFT label,” Snoop Dogg said during a talk with his fans on Clubhouse. “We will be putting out artists through the metaverse. Just like we broke the industry when we was the first independent [label] to be major, I want to be the first major [label] in the metaverse.”

While there has been some dispute over ownership of Dr. Dre’s debut solo album, The Chronic, released on Death Row back in 1992, the pair recently shared this photo.

“The chronic is bac home 🏡 🔌🎙🔥🔥👊🏿👊🏿📱🎶🧊🧊🔒🔒,” Snoop Dogg penned in the caption.

Snoop Dogg also teased the first of Death Row’s NFT releases during a discussion with Ice Cube. The song was originally released on The Chronic, featuring Tha Doggfather. “I just might sell ‘Nuthin’ But a G Thang’ next month,” he told him on Clubhouse.

Nicki Minaj Only Works With Girls Who Can’t Rap Says Erica Banks: Coi Leray Responds

Coi Leray has responded to Erica Banks’s claims that Nicki Minaj only collaborates with female rappers who can’t rap.

The 501 Entertainment rapper has been after a Nicki Minaj feature for some time but has failed to get one. She explained why she thinks the New York rapper has yet to work with her during a recent appearance.

“I love Nicki,” Banks began. “But I just felt like, I been trying to reach out to her for a long time but I felt like she kinda ignores me and she entertains girls who really can’t rap,” she said. However, when pressed, she refused to name the artists who can’t rap that Nicki Minaj worked with.

She continued and explained that Nicki Minaj cut ties with her after she made similar comments in the past. “I said I agree that Nicki kinda f**k with the girls who can’t really rap — when you got the girls over here (herself) who really do,” Banks declared. “Now, some people might get mad at me for saying that, but it’s the truth. Everybody can’t rap.” She added her perspective is “not because I’m a rapper. I’m saying it because not everybody’s going to say it.”

The “Buss It” rapper concluded, “And I had to explain to everybody — we not saying that we are ungrateful for Nicki Minaj’s support, we just saying our feelings are hurt as a real fan that we haven’t worked together.”

Coi Leray Reacts

However, Coi Leray, who recently worked with Nicki Minaj on “Blick Blick,” found the matter laughable, and fired off a few tweets in response.

Her initial response was direct. She quote tweeted the post with a series of crying with laughter emojis.

While Nicki Minaj is yet to respond, her recent collaborator then followed up with a less direct response laying out her credentials for any detractors to see.

“My debut album has over 315k album sales. 🔥🔥🔥🔐 4 Billboard top 100 entries (No More Parties , No More parties Remix, Big Prrd, Blick Blick 💚 🌎 🆑 6 nominations with no album . 💖💪🏽 Millions of monthly listeners 🆑 TRENDSETTER THE ALBUM OUT NOW 💖🤪🆑👑🔥”

Nicki Minaj On Collabs

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj recently clarified her refusal to work with artists who have continually bad-mouthed her in the past. “If you hear somebody was saying things about you – not just one thing – but repeated things, repeated tweets for years… It’s let go, but it’s about, why would I work with somebody who doesn’t like me?”

Doja Cat Wows At Coachella, Brings Out Tyga & Rico Nasty

Doja Cat recently claimed she was retiring from the music industry and wanted to “disappear” from the public eye. However, her set at Coachella demonstrated why she needs to stick around.

The “Planet Her” rapper showcased her performing credentials in an energetic set at the 2022 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, Calif. She was flipped around by her backup dancers, acrobat style on a stage surrounded by lasers, flames, and dancing mushrooms, among other wild props.

Doja Cat & Friends

Doja Cat rocked the stage in a variety of eclectic outfits, putting on a spectacle for her fans. She wasn’t alone in her performance as she brought out a couple of special guests. Fellow female rapper Rico Nasty joined Doja Cat for a lively rendition of their hit song “Tia Tamera.”

Compton-bred rapper Tyga also pulled up, and the pair rocked the crowd with an energetic performance of “Juice.” They sauntered around each other on stage before turning up and getting hype with the crowd.

Doja Cat performed ahead of Sunday’s headliner The Weeknd, who replaced Kanye West as the headliner at the last minute after Ye pulled out with two weeks’ notice.

Earlier this month, Doja Cat and The Weeknd were revealed as the top contenders for the 2022 Billboard Awards. The Weeknd led the nominations with a grand total of 17. He’s in the running for categories including Top Artist, Top Male Artist, and Top R&B Artist.

Doja Cat took the next place with nominations in a total of 14 categories. She will compete for Top Artist, Top Female Artist, and Top Billboard 200 Album for Planet Her, among other categories at the ceremony in May.

Meanwhile, Doja will reportedly head off to Australia next year with Abel on his After Hours Till Dawn tour.

RIP: DJ Kay Slay Dies From Covid-19

Legendary DJ Kay Slay has died following a four-month battle with COVID-19.

The word of Kay Slay’s passing, tragically on Easter Sunday, began to trickle late Sunday night. As the world began to spread, the condolences rolled in.

Kay Slay, born Keith Grayson, came up in the early, rugged New York era, starting out as a graffiti artist in the 1970s. He was even featured in the 1993 seminal Hip-Hop documentary “Style Wars.” In the streets, he was known as “Dez” and rolled with the The Fantastic Partners(TFP).

Soon, he would look at emerging DJs like GrandMaster Flash, Kool DJ Red alert and others in the late 1970s and 80s. After a bout in jail over drugs, he stop using and selling completely, and started his journey to be a New York legend.

Eventually, Kay Slay would emerge as one of the most profound DJs ever, which a decidedly uncompromising view on the culture. As the Drama King, his Street Sweeper series from the early 2000s would prove epic and helped keep the streets on fire. He released six studio albums, innumerable mixtapes and broke artist after artist, almost exclusively based on talent.

Most recently, he was releasing a series of monster posse cuts that consistently shook up the Hip Hop landscape. The last one was “Rollin 110 Deep,” which featured as many rappers in one incredibly long song

He served as a DJ on Sirius XM at the time of his passing, but had a lengthy run on Hot 97 with the “Drama Hour.”

Kay slay will be missed.

He was 55 years old.

Isaiah Rashad Addresses Alleged Sex Tape Leak For The First Time During Coachella Set

Isaiah Rashad remained silent for months but chose his performance at Coachella to finally address the controversy surrounding his sexuality.

Back in February, an explicit tape that appeared to show the TDE artist engaged in sex acts with two men leaked online. Isaiah Rashad became a trending topic as the video clip went viral. While many fans voiced their support for the star, others reacted with homophobia.

Isaiah Rashad opened his set with a video montage of reactions to the sex tape. Media personalities, including Joe Budden N.O.R.E and Akademiks all shared their views. Fellow rappers The Game and Boosie also weighed in with their takes.

“The purpose of doing that was to embarrass him. However, it backfired,” said one commenter in the clip. Another said, “When his video leaked, his streams and everything went up. He’s up on the charts now.”

Later, Isaiah Rashad briefly paused the show to thank his fans for their support. “I see all the messages and all the positivity,” he told the crowd. “Y’all kept me alive these last couple months.”

During the performance on Saturday (Apr. 16) Rashad skipped between songs from his projects over the years. He also brought some surprise special guests to the 2022 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, Calif. Fellow TDE artists Doechii and SiR joined him onstage as they rocked the crowd.

TDE’s Punch Defends Isaiah Rashad

Top Dawg President Terrence “Punch” Henderson Jr. Shared Rashad’s powerful opening montage.

While he said little in the caption, Punch was the first of the Top Dawg camp to comment on the video after it went viral. He was having a conversation on Twitter about the rap G.O.A.T.s when Los Angeles-based recording artist JAHMED chimed in and derailed the discussion.

“Wait… so you want me to be concerned about another grown man’s sex life?? Is that what you’re really interested in? As [opposed] to having a dialogue about music??” asked Punch. JAHMED eventually apologized after Punch continued to defend Isaiah Rashad.

Megan Thee Stallion Disses Tory Lanez At Coachella?

What do we have here? It looks as if Megan Thee Stallion has recorded a diss track for her adversary Tory Lanez and performed it at Coachella.

At first, I thought this was just a regular song that she was performing dissing men generically. But the very beginning of the performance, she offers a very unique, “personal” monologue that seems to talk towards someone specifically. And that’s spiraled into the rumor that this is actually directed to Tory Lanez.

You know the deal, “She has accused him of shooting her and he denies that he shot her.” This ongoing saga is getting annoying as 5-year old juvenile delinquent. That said, she’s spiced it up allover again.

The song, which samples Jodeci and Wu-Tang Clan, does not seem to have a name yet, but it’s got the legs of a hit record already. She says a few things that I have really giving people the ammo to prove that it’s actually a diss song.

“D#ck don’t run me, I run d#ck”

“I’m the only reason that you got b#tches”

“You’s a b#tch”

“Ladies, love yourself cause’ this s### could get ugly / That’s why it’s f### n****s, get money. And I don’t give a f### if that n***a leave tonight, because n***a that dick don’t run me”

Charting Artist “J’Versatile” Is Making Major Moves…

Jo’Vante James, known professionally as J’Versatile, is from Manning, South Carolina. J’Versatile has been doing music for over 10 years after writing his first song in high school freshmen year. J’Versatile grew up singing in church as a youth and now expanding his talent everywhere he can. J’Versatile performed in Charlotte, North Carolina outside of the Spectrum Center home of the Charlotte Hornets. J’Versatile has got over 3 million streams on sound cloud. J’Versatile is also a 3x iTunes Charting artist, In 3 different genres.

J’versatile goals are to become the best artist in his generation in his own way and style. Upcoming artist J’Versatile takes things up another notch by charting yet another track on iTunes Top 200. Though “Give it All Today” was released in 2020, the song didn’t rise in popularity until 2022, making it his 3rd track charting record. As hard as it is coming up as an artist, this proves as a major stepping stone to where he’s going in the long run. The song is backed by melodic violins topped with J’Versatile’s dynamic vocals. This track is a little different from his other songs and feels more like a hip-hop song but with singing. His chant “Ima give it all today” at the end of the song really sets a mood too.

J’Versatile is far from done proving his success as an independent artist in the music industry. J’Versatile said he isn’t after the clout or money, but he is more after the respect and legacy he can leave for the younger generation coming up under him. J’Versatile goal is to become verified on Instagram and to become and gold and platinum artist in the future. He is simply a go-getter and a dream chaser fighting to be successful by any means necessary.

Being known as an artist that delivers a variety of genres, J accelerates beyond the stereotypical “rapper.” He doesn’t rap about violence, drugs, or street struggles, he only makes music to inspire and motivate people, determined and hungry to accomplish all of his goals that he set out for himself.

As each track pushes ahead, his cadence changes with the rhythm, and he one-ups each soundscape through allegorical, sincere verses. J speaks about other obstacles such as being from a small town that most people have never heard of, this makes him feel like he has to work harder than the average.

A post shared by Lizzo (@lizzobeeating)

“Auntie… I miss you so much today. Yitty just dropped, and I know ur cracking jokes in heaven. Thank you for giving me the nickname Yitty,” Lizzo wrote alongside a photo of herself, her aunt, and her mother.

While Lizzo did not specifically name her aunt in the post, editors at Billboard speculated she referred to Carmen, whom she previously honored on Mother’s Day in 2020.

Lizzo also shared how the Yitty nickname had evolved for her.

“It used to be the nickname that made (me) yell at my brother sister when they teased me… and now it’s the nickname that makes me feel proud. It’s (sic) the nickname that makes me feel connected to my family. And now… the world is connected to me, auntie!!!! You are still my favorite person, I’m doing my best impression of you right now to get me through this ‘SNL’ rehearsal without crying,” the 33-year-old continued, referring to her upcoming Saturday Night Live hosting duties. “I love you. Tiffany Haddish Is Looking For A Man On Dating Apps After Split With Common

Tiffany Haddish is getting back into the dating scene following her split from Common.

During her opener as guest-host of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Thursday, the “Girls Trip” actress joked that she uses every app available to try and “meet a man.”

“I’m getting back into the dating scene, which means I’m on the apps: Raya, Tinder, Postmates, Candy Crush, and that therapy app BetterHelp, OK,” Tiffany Haddish said. “Hey, you never know where you gonna meet a man, and if he’s a therapist, it might be helpful.”

Tiffany Haddish dated rapper/actor Common from mid-2020 to last November.
While the relationship ended on good terms, the 42-year-old insisted she now knows exactly what she wants.

“A man with a perfect credit score,” smiled Tiffany Haddish. “Now I don’t care how tall they are; how old they are; how much they weigh. The only number that matters to me that I care about comes from FICA (Federal Insurance Contributions Act) because credit scores show how responsible they are. I’m just saying I’m a lot to handle.”

Afrika Bambaataa Facing Default For Avoiding Child Sexual Abuse Charges

Afrika Bambaataa, the founder of the Universal Zulu Nation and one of the architects of Hip Hop culture, continues to wade in legal waters.

On Monday, Apr. 11, a “John Doe” filed a motion for default judgment against the Bronx native in the Bronx Supreme Court on a case involving sexual abuse of a child.

John Doe claimed Bambaataa molested him for four years in the early 1990s, starting when he was a 12-year-old.

The complaint, which was obtained exclusively by AllHipHop.com, was filed by Hugo G. Ortega on behalf of the anonymous plaintiff, believing his client should be granted a default judgment against Bam, whose real name is Lance Johnson because he “failed to appear in this matter or to answer the plaintiff’s complaint” in the allotted time given by the court.

It seems that Bam has not been reached since the end of last year.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, Afrika Bambaataa has been accused of child molestation and abuse, specifically targeting poor little boys in the South Bronx.

It is alleged he used his fame and power, as an early pioneer, to coerce young people to do sexual acts.

Afrika Bambaataa denied the allegations via an exclusive statement to AllHipHop.com, issued by his lawyer at the time, Vivian K. Tozaki.

She said, “Recently, defamatory statements were published seeking to harm my client’s reputation so as to lower him in the estimation of the community while deterring others from associating or dealing with him.”

“The statements show a reckless disregard for the truth, were published with knowledge of their falsity, and are being made by a lesser-known person seeking publicity. Valuable cultural resources, such as Afrika Bambaataa’s good name and time, should never be used to assist a mediocre person’s asinine quest for social media popularity and superficial gain.”

Diddy Pulls Up To Alleged Miami Mami JT Of The City Girls

Those City girls are a special type. They can ride for the ladies, but also keep a man. Well, Yung Miami recently broke up with Lil Uzi, but that is beside the point.

I did not really realize this, but Diddy and JT were rumored to be a thing. And when you see big bro cheering on the City Girls at Coachella, it lends itself to that chatter.

He sure is happy!

By the way, JT had stated that the rumors are false to begin with.

And yet Diddy…really likes them.

DJ Jazzy Jeff Defends Will Smith Over Oscars Slap

DJ Jazzy Jeff has insisted Will Smith’s Oscar’s slap was a “lapse in judgment.”

During the 2022 Academy Awards on March 27th, the “King Richard” actor walked onto the stage and slapped comedian Chris Rock after he compared his wife Jada Pinkett Smith – who has the medical condition alopecia – to G.I. Jane.

Appearing on Closed Sessions Legend Conversation recently, Will Smith’s longtime collaborator Jazzy Jeff defended his friend.

“Don’t get it twisted that it was something he was proud of. It was a lapse in judgment, you know?” he argued.

“I think the thing that I’ve realized is I don’t know too many people that has had the least amount of lapse of judgment than him. Rihanna Vows To Keep Style During Pregnancy With A$AP Rocky’s Child

Rihanna will never be caught shopping in a store’s “maternity aisle.”
The “Umbrella” hitmaker is expecting a baby with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky.

In an interview for the May 2022 issue of U.S. Vogue magazine, Rihanna insisted that she has never once worn maternity clothing throughout her pregnancy.

When I found out I was pregnant, I thought to myself, ‘There’s no way I’m going to go shopping in no maternity aisle,'” she recalled. “I’m sorry – it’s too much fun to get dressed up. I’m not going to let that part disappear because my body is changing.”

In the accompanying photoshoot for the magazine, Rihanna put her growing baby belly on display in designer creations from the likes of Alaïa, Marc Jacobs, Rick Owens, Dior, and Jean Paul Gaultier.

Furthermore, the superstar is hopeful she will inspire other expectant mothers to show off their bumps in public.

“I’m hoping that we were able to redefine what’s considered ‘decent’ for pregnant women,” the 34-year-old continued. “My body is doing incredible things right now, and I’m not going to be ashamed of that. This time should feel celebratory. Because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?”
