Does Gangsta Boo Have Stalkers Since Verzuz?

Gangsta Boo is experiencing a new life since she was a standout at the Verzuz with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Three 6 Mafia! She’s more poppin’ than ever…you know recently and that is a great thing. Right now, Gangsta Boo is back to her old self and has dropped a new song called “Sucker Free.” The song is on the grimey side so click here for that.

But the word on the street is that she has been experiencing some form of stalker coming at her. I can get it, because Boo is super sexy, but I also hear she is well protected too. So I hope she is turning up the heat to make sure nothing is affecting her. At any rate, Boo recently told AHH she was working on a new album and recent got into production.

“‘Sucka Free’ is a free download for my Boo Gang [album] for Christmas because we are tryuing to stay sucker free,” she said. “I freestyled the song last year around this time. I arranged all of my vocals nd how the beat breaks down in certain parts. Drumma did the beat, I did the song arrangement.”

Earlier this month, Boo was chided for screaming on Bizzy Bone, a rapper known for having some issues. But she was unapologetically BOO and did not take back anything she said in that Verzuz! I can respect that. Now, the Memphis Lady is at the point of blowing up all over again.

By the way, there’s a video for this “Sucka Free” song coming soon.

By the way part 2, we interviewed her when half of yall didn’t GAF about her…earlier this year.

Young Dolph Memorial Tickets Sell Out In 90 Minutes

Tickets for a public Young Dolph memorial quickly sold out on Monday.

A spokesperson for the late rapper said the upcoming “Celebration of Life” event sold out in 90 minutes. Tickets were available for free through Ticketmaster on Monday morning.

The memorial is scheduled to take place at the FedEx Forum in Memphis on Thursday (December 16). The event will begin at noon and run until 2 p.m. local time.

Young Dolph was laid to rest at a private funeral on November 30. The upcoming memorial was organized to allow the public to pay their respects.

The “Celebration of Life” event will include words from his family, the Paper Route Empire team and some of the people who benefitted from his philanthropy. The memorial will also feature musical performances, although the artists haven’t been announced thus far.

Young Dolph, whose real name was Adolph Thornton Jr., was shot and killed in Memphis on November 17. He was 36 years old.

Two masked gunmen attacked Young Dolph while he was at a local bakery called Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies. Police are still investigating the shooting.

Photos of the shooters have been released, but authorities haven’t publicly identified the two suspects. Police are encouraging anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at 901-528-CASH.

Snoop Dogg Mispronounces Multiple Golden Globe Nominees’ Names

Snoop Dogg and his mispronunciations added unexpected levity to the announcement of the 2022 Golden Globe Awards nominees.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association unveiled the Golden Globe nominations at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California on Monday. But reporters in attendance and fans watching the YouTube livestream got a surprise when Snoop Dogg emerged to announce half of the nominees.

Snoop Dogg stepped up to the podium and delivered unintentional comedy as he struggled to pronounce a few names of the nominees. In one of the funnier moments, the Hip Hop legend managed to botch Ben Affleck’s name.

“Been uh-fleck,” he said before quickly correcting himself. “Ben Affleck, my fault. Sorry about that Ben.”

Another humorous moment occurred moments later when Snoop Dogg misfired on Ciarán Hinds’ first name. The veteran rapper took two stabs at it, calling the Irish actor “Caron” and “Karen.”

The Doggfather’s misadventures in pronunciation also included Dune director Denis Villeneuve. The D-O-Double-G apparently thought the French Canadian filmmaker’s last name was Spanish, announcing it as “Villanueva.”

Snoop Dogg’s stint as a presenter lightened the mood around the 2022 Golden Globe Awards, which are facing a boycott over a lack of commitment to diversity. The upcoming event, which is scheduled to take place on January 9, still doesn’t have a broadcaster after NBC backed out amid the boycott.

Baltimore Drug Dealer Claims He Did Business With Drake, Kanye, And Diddy While Using Lawyer To Launder Money

An alleged Baltimore drug dealer is throwing everyone under the bus to save his own hide.

During a trial, the kingpin said he worked hand and hand with some of Hip-Hop’s top dogs through a marketing company he insisted was legit.

According to Yahoo! News, Richard Byrd told a courtroom full of people during a Federal trial for lawyer Kenneth Ravenell that his club opened its doors and hosted the following rappers/celebrities (at its height): Chris Brown, Drake, Kevin Durant, Jamie Foxx, LeBron James, Jeezy, Nelly, Shaquille O’Neal, 2Chainz, and Dwayne Wade.”

Richard Byrd even revealed that he “owned the rights” to host events with Bad Boy founder Sean “P Diddy” Combs and for years produced over 500 events for the mogul.

Another big name he said he worked with was the artist formerly known as Kanye West.

In the U.S. District Court, the 48-year-old businessman even said that Ye was too much to deal with after he became successful. Byrd shared with the jury, “Once he became a megastar, he [West] became very difficult to work with.”

Byrd’s lawyer Kenneth Ravenell is on trial for possibly assisting the drug baron with his illegal cannabis trading business and helping his criminal organization launder money.

Byrd, who is serving a 26-year prison sentence, contends that his business, Loc Marketing, was legitimate and made millions of dollars.

Ravenell says that Byrd is lying. His attorney, Peter White, even asked the alleged hustler if he killed his brother for being a snitch to law enforcement.

Byrd said he did not issue an order to have his brother killed. The attorney then showed Byrd a memo where he spoke about this with the DEA and IRS.

Byrd shrugged it off with, When you’re part of a company dealing with so many things, that’s just another day.”

“Potentially killing your own brother is just another day at the office for you?” White pushed.

Byrd retorted, “When you’re in the streets, that’s just another day.”

Neither Diddy nor Yeezy have commented on Byrd’s allegations that he worked with them or that they knew that he was possibly laundering money.

But would you?

Lily Jay Is Taking the Music Industry by Storm

Behind all the glitz and glamour of the music industry lie years of struggle and relentless hard work by artists who didn’t care about anything else but music. The internet revolution has brought radical change to the industry where budding artists can now find their audience online without relying on a label.

On the downside, the industry has become overly saturated with fresh talent, making it an increasingly competitive space for artists to distinguish themselves. However, one thing that has always been constant in the industry is recognizing original talent. Lily Jay is a budding musician who started exploring this space when she was only 17, and at 19, she already has 5 Billboard hits to her name.

Lily hails from a lower-middle-class family in Kansas. She grew up with 2 other siblings in a single apartment, watching her parents struggle every day to make a living. Being the eldest child, Lily felt the urge to earn money and support her parents. The small one-bedroom apartment hardly had any place for her to play, but it nourished her dream of becoming an actor. From the age of 11, Lily loved music and dancing and wanted to join a dancing class. Unfortunately, her parents could not afford to pay for her classes, and they felt her dreams were too grand for a girl from a lower-income family.

At 15, Lily left home to work as an ad model in New York. She lived in a shared apartment with 8 other girls, often sleeping on the floor over a tattered mattress. One of her roommates was an aspiring musician and influenced Lily to learn music. Lily instantly discovered her passion. Lily spent all her hard-earned money to join a music school and barely had 10 dollars left every month after paying her bills. She mostly survived on eggs and bread just so she could pursue her passion for music. Lily was the fastest learner in her class, which brought her positive recognition from her coaches at the music school.

Lily launched her YouTube channel “Groove with Lily” at 16 with her first single “Girl in the City.” The song became an overnight hit, earning her over a million views in just a couple of weeks. “Girl in the City” is a peppy electronic dance track that will instantly lift the mood. The song became a popular party score in clubs and also became a viral trend on social media. Since then, Lily has never looked back.

For the next couple of years, Lily rolled out 10 more singles on YouTube and Spotify. Five of them were listed on Billboard charts, earning her huge recognition in the industry. In 2019, Lily was part of a famous tour with renowned artists like DJ Steve, DJ Snake, and Alan Walker. Although her live performances were postponed during the pandemic, Lily continued shining with her crazy fan following on social media.

Lily Jay currently has over 6 million YouTube subscribers and 3.5 million average monthly listeners on Spotify. She wants to be a role model for other young, aspiring female musicians who consider their family’s financial situation a determining factor in shaping their careers. She is a shining example of courage, grit, and determination, paving the way for more passion-driven young talents to chase their dreams.

Houston Rapstar Daliesha Key Breaks 100,000 Streams With “Down To My Feet”

Great things can happen when great minds unite–  this is most definitely the case with a new single from Daliesha Key and Bankroll Freddy, also produced by DJ Drummaboyfresh. The track hit streaming platforms on October 15, 2021, and it is still going strong, with well over 100.000 plays peaking on Spotify and climbing the charts on Apple Music.

A native of Houston, Texas, Daliesha has made music ever since she was only a child. Over time, she developed a very distinctive and intimate sound, which showcases her love of melody and energy. During the songwriting stage, she seeks to find a happy medium between catchy and honest lyricism, exploring her outlook and experiences as a person. To express herself, Daliesha makes music with a visionary philosophy.

She is always willing to learn from seasoned artists to better her platform and refine her artistry–– enter “Down To My Feet,” featuring Bankroll Freddie. He happens to be one of Daliesha’s favorite artists! It is always amazing to collaborate with an artist when there is a lot of mutual respect involved, and in this case, it is clear that the connection is there.

The song carries a larger-than-life sound that is incredibly rewarding. If you are a fan of modern hip-hop and trap, this one will be right up your alley. Do not miss out on “Down To My Feet” if you do enjoy the sound of artists such as Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and Bia and Missy Elliott, only to mention but a few. Like the artists above, Daliesha is no stranger to the mic and is comfortable in her skin, following a life of passion and musicality. Today, she stands out as one of the most promising female rap artists coming out of Houston, TX, and songs like “Down To My Feet” stand out as an example of her ability to focus on making quality rap that cuts through the noise.

Incredibly, people are responding quite well to this particular song. The artist is achieving new heights and taking her career to the next level by constantly challenging herself, release after release. “Down To My Feet” is a new chapter in the artist’s creative life, and it feels like a powerful statement, which serves as a way to establish herself in the pantheon of rising rap artists. Speaking of new artists, Daliesha is very savvy about the importance of investing in yourself, so she is always ready to bet on her talent, expand her horizons, promote herself, and more. Whenever an artist approaches her for advice, she’d always recommend taking a chance and investing directly into their music, rather than sit around and wait for something to happen! In other words, it’s all about being in control of your success.

Rick Ross to End Beef Between Jeezy and Freddie Gibbs?

Rick Ross aims to end a stagnated beef between Jeezy and Freddie Gibbs. One thing is certain. Ross, Jeezy and Gibbs are unimaginably talented with twisting words. They are lyrical savants.

First off, Rick Ross stays busy. His 11th studio offering, of Richer Than I Ever Been is now available. It is working to satiate the public desire for his wordplay. So now, his way with words may help to quell any lingering angst between Gangsta Gibbs and Jeezy. That is to say, the Biggest Boss continues to add to to his creative repertoire. Perhaps, peace broker will be serve as a new title.

So, what happened? Do remember, back in 2011 Freddie signed to Jeezy’s CTE imprint. Moreover, it was merely within the next year that Gibbs left the label. Since then, Gangsta Gibbs has aimed audible animosity towards Jeezy.

In a sit-down with Rap Radar, the “Little Havana” spitter, gives credit to Freddie’s progression as a introspective individual. Rozay speaks on his relationship with the Gary native. He praises Fred’s ability to absorb and employ good advice. The Teflon Don then admits that he does not know if Freddie and Jeezy have yet to broker peace.

To clarify his point he states, “I’m not sure that it’s happened yet. But most definitely, that was the conversation I had with Freddie Gibbs. Because, once again, you got to appreciate when a brother reach out to you. And believes in your gift, brother. That’s what it was about.”

To add more emphasis Ross adds more insight. “As a boss – as a CEO you’re not obligated – or, owe nobody to sign nobody. You understand.” He soon states, “and homie seen your vision and he believed in you. And that’s what it came down to.” Sincerity wraps his sentiment before he includes, “And that’s what I live by. And, that was some of the advice that I gave the homie.”

Ricky then reckons that time will help to alleviate the situation. “I had a conversation with Jeezy and I left it with him. And you leave it there.”

“I don’t see it as a big deal,” is how Gibbs describes his past differences with Jeezy, this according to Vulture. “Ain’t nobody dying. Nobody get shot. Ain’t nobody get hurt, so it ain’t nothing like that.”

In the future, hopefully Freddie Gibbs, Jeezy, and Rick Ross will collaborate on a track.

Meek Mill Taking Over Philadelphia Convention Center For Massive Christmas Giveaway Event

Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill is donating half a million dollars to families in need this holiday season. Families in the City of Brotherly Love will be blessed by the artist’s generous donation of toys and electronics.

Meek dropped the news about the event on Instagram last week.

He captioned, “Really doing something big for the city ✨✨✨✨ ✨ computers, bikes and more for the kids Dec. 19th. location coming soon”

https://www.instagram.com/tv/CXKMLmTjN8w/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

TMZ reports that Meek Mill will be teaming up with Patriots owner Robert Kraft, Sixers partner Michael Rubin, and Roc Nation. The outlet reports that the group plans to take over the Philadelphia Convention Center and will transform the place into a one-stop Christmas goodie shop with a donation of $500,000.

Some of the items he will be giving out are tech items like laptops and tablets. He plans to offer video game gift cards. But the “Expensive Pain” artist will also give out toys like bikes, dolls, and other things that will be sure to bring smiles across the faces of thousands of kids.

Set for this upcoming Sunday, this day of festivity promises to be a day that these little “young jawns” and “young bouls” will likely forget. Rumors suggest that Meek might pop out to see folk who come out.

The chart-topper also donated $30,000 to the Philadelphia chapter of Twelve Days of Christmas.

According to their website, Twelve Days of Christmas, Incorporated(TDOC) was founded in 1990 in Houston, Texas.

The nonprofit has more than 200 members who serve in eight chapters in seven states and the District of Columbia. The Philadelphia Chapter of TDOC was chartered in October 2020 and is led by its president, Stephanie Mays Boyd.

Travis Scott Kicked Off Coachella Lineup

More backlash from the October Astroworld tragedy is hitting rapper Travis Scott.

The chart-topper has been disinvited to 2022’s Coachella festival. He was supposed to headline the popular live-concert event.

According to KESQ, a Palms Spring news outlet, the Coachella Music and Arts Festival has taken the “Sicko Mode” artist out of the lineup for their upcoming event.

The final word came from the City of Indio and the Community Services Manager Jim Curtis.

But the backlash has been brewing since November when a change.org petition popped up on the internet, asking the festival decision-makers, AEG, Paul Tollet, and Goldenvoice, to cut their ties with him.

While neither Coachella nor Scott’s camp has come forward with a confirmation of this news, Variety says that an insider familiar with the situation revealed that Scott’s agent Cara Lewis of the Cara Lewis Group was contacted and told that he would receive a kill fee for his exclusion from the bill.

That source further alleges that Lewis worked really hard to keep him as a headliner, which could have been an epic return to the stage after the Astroworld tragedy that cost ten people their lives (including a young grammar school child).

This bad news comes as Scott manages hundreds of lawsuits coming his way totaling over $1 billion, as other deals fall away.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, Anheuser-Busch has deaded the hard seltzer water deal with Cacti that they started with the artist.

And in an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, Travis said that he was sad about what had happened but did not feel he was responsible for the deaths.

He said that he was “1000%” sure he did all that he could do to prevent the deaths of ten and the injury of hundreds more.

Tristan Thompson Allegedly Paid Adult Star To Abort Love Child

The NBA’s, Tristan Thompson, is snatching down headlines. It’s his alleged off-court antics that are arousing interest. Details pertaining to him cheating on Khloe Kardashian are everywhere. Recently, more salacious news broke. The professional baller allegedly paid a p### star “to get an abortion,” this according to the Jasmine Brand.

To begin with, Aereon Clark performs as adult actress Slim Danger. She shares a son with rapper Chief Keef. Therefore, to help financially provide for her family she works as an adult actress. The thotty thespian contends that “she met Tristan at a swinger’s party in Los Angeles.”

Furthermore, it’s the the professional finesser’s TikTok which is grabbing attention. There harrowing accusations arise. For instance, for an array of special services she insists that TT paid her thousands of dollars. This includes everything from an initial “consultation,” to sex and to pregnancy termination.

Consequently, Slim Danger, is the latest lady to blast Tristan’s trifling behavior. “This man right here, yes, I met him at an L.A. swingers party. He paid me over $15,000 in cash. And, yes yes, I was also paid to get rid of the baby. This right here is the check that I was received just to have consultation. Just to talk to him before the $15,000 was even established,” importantly alleges Slim.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CXPVXvGBnIF/

More importantly, this comes as Tristan is battling womanizing claims. Recently, on December 2, Maralee Nichols gave birth to her son, as confirmed by Us Weekly. She alleges this is Tristan’s third child.

Similarly, she too contends that the Sac center, strongly suggested she end her pregnancy. Radar Online reports the supposed caustic text message. In it, the liberal baller pressures Maralee to get an abortion with “this 75k.”

So now, the friendly baller moves to silence Nichols nagging claims. In the paternity suit with Maralee, Tristan wants a gag order. To wrap up things, unlike Tristan, the big baller continues to live his best life. The more kids the merrier, right?

PART 3: Canibus Questions Rap Fans, His “Haters,” The Puppet Masters & Wonders If Hip-Hop Is Cursed

PART 2: Canibus Talks LL Cool J’s Historic Shoutout, Meeting With Jay-Z, Giving Up On Hip-Hop!

Part 1:Canibus Returns: Talks Tech, LL Cool J, New Music, Jay-Z, Battle Rap, DMX, Missteps, MF DOOM, and MORE

The last part of our interview series with Canibus is a revealing, somber reminder of how rigorous the rap industry can be. Not only that, but it is also a massive “monster” that still manages to have “puppet masters,” according to the Jamaican-born rhyme master. His views on rap fans are so pointed that he confesses to getting stage fright from their “thoughts” as materialized in social media comments sections. He even suggests that their efforts are to get him to “eat the gun” – suicide. “They hate my face…they hate my beats,” he says in jest, excluding his ardent loyal following. For these reasons and others, he considers Hip-Hop is in the midst of a spiritual war. “Rap music: either the people are cursed or the music is cursed,” he says. He discusses matter-of-factly why there is nothing he MUST do in Hip-Hop these days as well as why he is just an observer in the culture at this point. However, the conversation with Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur does not end on a negative note. Check out this interview with one of the best to ever do it: Canibus.

Recording Academy President Comments On Drake Pulling His Grammy Nominations

Television viewers should not expect to see Drake at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards in January. The Canadian rapper/singer let the Recording Academy know he is not interested in being honored by the music industry organization.

Drake Blasted The Grammys In Recent Years

Drake took a pretty hard stance about the unimportance of winning a Grammy Award. After winning the trophy for Best Rap Song (“God’s Plan”) in 2019, the OVO Sound frontman essentially told his peers they should not care about winning a golden gramophone.

“My point is you’ve already won if you have people singing your songs word-for-word, if you’re a hero in your hometown. Look, if there are people who have regular jobs who are coming out in the rain, in the snow, spending their hard-earned money to buy tickets to come to your shows, you don’t need this right here. I promise you, you already won,” said Drake that night.

Drake’s “Crew Love” collaborator The Weeknd was completely shut out of nominations last year. In response, Drake posted on Instagram, “I think we should stop allowing ourselves to be shocked every year by the disconnect between impactful music and these awards and just accept that what once was the highest form of recognition may no longer matter to the artist that [exists] now and the ones that come after.”

With those recent takes about the Grammys, it came as a surprise to some people when Drake apparently submitted his recent work for nominations this year. He originally earned a Best Rap Performance nod for “Way 2 Sexy” featuring Future and Young Thug. Drake also picked up a Best Rap Album nomination for Certified Lover Boy.

Harvey Mason Jr. Is Asked About Drake’s Withdrawal

Reports of Drake withdrawing his Grammy nominations from the final-round ballots began circulating last week. Drake and his management team apparently made the decision. The Recording Academy accepted their request.

There were still a lot of questions about Drake’s latest actions. Hollywood Unlocked recently spoke to Recording Academy President Harvey Mason Jr. about the Hip Hop megastar pulling his two lead-artist nominations.

“Anytime an artist has a concern or comment about our process we take it very seriously, and I take it very seriously,” responded the founder of Harvey Mason Media. “I’m a producer and songwriter, as you know.”

Mason continued, “So when someone is unhappy or has an issue with something, we have to take a look at it. And our process is based on membership, and the members drive the process. So, anyone who says something, I have to listen to and as a team, we all take it very seriously.”

Drake is currently a 4-time Grammy winner. His 2011 project, Take Care, won Best Rap Album. “Hotline Bling” also won Grammys for Best Rap/Sung Performance and Best Rap Song in 2017. In total, he has scored 47 career nominations.

Iggy Azalea Calls Out Joe Biden Critics: That Orange Will Be Back Running For President

Over the weekend, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea decided to share her views about American politics. Azalea weighed in on the current state of United States President Joe Biden’s current unpopularity.

According to Real Clear Politics, an average of polling data has Joe Biden’s approval rating as president sitting around 42%. That is a significant drop from the 55% approval rating he had back in January.

Iggy Azalea apparently believes Joe Biden is getting an unfair assessment from the American people. She shared a tweet calling out some of Biden’s critics. Azalea also slammed the possibility of former President Donald Trump returning to the White House.

https://twitter.com/IGGYAZALEA/status/1469883449188052994?s=20

“I really hate to get political but can we shut the f### up with the ‘I regret voting Biden’ commentary cause ya gonna blink and that orange will be back running for [the] presidency. It’s so f##### disappointing to see y’all think it’s an edgy take,” posted Iggy Azalea.

The End Of An Era album creator later added, “I thought we all collectively agreed that ‘please just don’t make it any worse’ was worth a vote and in that regard, it’s been successful. Can we please not forget how terrifying & stressful the last 4 years were for so many people because of [Trump]?”

A Lot Of Hip Hop Stars Chose Sides During The 2020 Election

Donald Trump has not confirmed that he will run for president for the third time in 2024, but it is widely speculated that the polarizing figure is considering jumping into the Republican primary again. Trump lost to Biden in 2020 by 7 million popular votes and 74 Electoral College votes.

Numerous celebrities backed Joe Biden in 2020 over Donald Trump. The former Democratic senator and vice president secured public endorsements from Hip Hop stars such as Eminem, Cardi B, Offset, Common, 2 Chainz, Ludacris, and Jeezy.

In contrast, rappers like Waka Flocka Flame and Lil Pump expressed support for Donald Trump in 2020. Lil Wayne famously sent out a tweet about Trump’s Platinum Plan which included a photo of the Young Money leader and the MAGA leader smiling side-by-side. However, 50 Cent flip-flopped on his endorsement of Donald Trump.

Damson Idris Reacts To Denzel Washington Saying He Doesn’t Know Who The Actor Is

Many filmgoers consider Denzel Washington one of the greatest living actors on the planet. Damson Idris is a name that is often mentioned in conversations about the rising actors of the current generation.

Unfortunately, it seems like Denzel Washington is not aware of Damson Idris’s work. During a red carpet Q&A with Two Bees TV, Washington was asked what he feels about the 30-year-old Snowfall star.

“Who are you talking about?” responded Denzel Washington to the questioner. He continued, “I don’t know who that is… What show? Snowfall? No disrespect, Damson, no disrespect.”

Damson Idris obviously got wind of the two-time Academy Award winner’s response. The London native reacted to the interview and the online commotion over Denzel Washington admitting to not knowing the Outside the Wire cast member.

“Call me Dancin Address from now on. I won’t answer to anything else 😂,” joked Damson Idris on Twitter. As of press time, that tweet amassed over 1,300 retweets, over 300 quote-tweets, and over 8,000 likes.

Damson Idris even changed his Twitter name to “Dancin Address 😉.” While Denzel Washington was not familiar with the Hollywood neophyte, Idris has earned positive reviews for his performances in shows such as Snowfall and Black Mirror.

42 Dugg Apologizes To His Fans For Missing Rolling Loud California

Rolling Loud organizers held the California edition of the traveling festival over the weekend. The show’s lineup was expected to include Detroit rapper 42 Dugg.

However, 42 Dugg took to social media to apologize to his followers for not being able to perform on Sunday. He posted his message to Twitter around 1:14 pm local time.

“I wanna apologize to all my fans in LA who came to see me today but for reasons out of my control and Rolling Loud’s but I will not be performing today,” tweeted 42 Dugg.

The 26-year-old Free Dem Boyz mixtape creator continued, “Ima take this time to reflect on my bad decision making and hopefully I’ll see y’all soon!!!!!!”

42 Dugg did not clarify the “bad decision making” that apparently played a role in him missing the Rolling Loud California event. He later tweeted, “The minute I stop having fun with it.”

Back in August, 42 Dugg apologized for posting a homophobic diatribe on Instagram after footage of him licking and kissing his 3-year-old son’s neck went viral. Plus, there were reports in February that a shooting took place at a video shoot with Dugg and Roddy Ricch.

On the flip side, this year also saw 42 Dugg make it onto the 2021 XXL Freshman Class cover. The Interscope recording artist also scored multiple Hot 100 chart entries, such as “4 Da Gang” with Roddy Ricch and “Maybach” with Future, as well.
