Atlanta Braves & Los Angeles Dodgers Troll Each Other With OutKast Quotes

The Atlanta Braves took a 2-0 lead in the National League Championship Series on Sunday night. The NL East division champs won with a walk-off single that cemented a 5-4 comeback win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

While sports drama was playing out between the two teams at Truist Park in Georgia, there was also social drama playing out between the two teams on Twitter. Both franchises used words by members of the legendary Atlanta-bred Hip Hop group OutKast in the online feud.

“I’m sorry Mr. Jackson, Chris is for real,” tweeted the verified Dodgers Twitter account in response to Chris Taylor hitting a double off Braves pitcher Luke Jackson. The timely hit gave Taylor’s squad a two-run lead in the top of the seventh.

The Dodgers’ tweet referenced OutKast’s No. 1 Hot 100 hit “Ms. Jackson” off the 2000 album Stankonia. However, André 3000 and Big Boi’s hometown team would not be outdone on the field or on Twitter by the end of the night.

The Braves Send Their Fans Home Happy Following Game 2 Of The NLCS

Around an hour after the Dodgers’ troll tweet, the Braves and their fans celebrated overcoming a two-run deficit. Eddie Rosario scored a game-ending hit in the bottom of the 9th inning to give the Braves its second straight last-at-bat victory over the Dodgers.

The Braves Twitter account quote-tweeted the Dodgers’ “Mr. Jackson” tweet and added one of André 3000’s most famous quotes. After OutKast was presented the Best New Rap Group trophy at the 1995 Source Awards, Dre told the disapproving New York City crowd in attendance, “The South’s got something to say.”

Los Angeles will get the chance to pick up a victory in the 2021 National League Championship Series on Tuesday. The Dodgers host the Atlanta Braves at Dodger Stadium for Game 3. Walker Buehler of the Dodgers will pitch against Charlie Morton of the Braves.

OutKast recently released the 25th-anniversary edition of the Dungeon Family affiliates’ 1996 album ATLiens. The group also released an interactive ATLiens video game as part of the roll-out for the special digital and vinyl versions of Kast’s 2x-Platinum sophomore studio LP.

Did Joe Budden Throw Shade At Rory & Mal Over Their Interview Comments?

Last week, news broke that Rory Farrell and Jamil “Mal” Clay signed a reported $10 million podcasting contract with SiriusXM’s Stitcher. Some people are speculating Rory and Mal’s ex-boss at The Joe Budden Podcast reacted to some comments the duo had to say in a recent article.

“Speaking for myself, I’m totally moved on in regard to that. I don’t even think about it. Where Rory and I stand now, looking back, it was the best thing that happened. I don’t have any reservations or any hard feelings toward anybody,” said Mal about parting ways with Joe Budden’s long-running show during an interview with Vulture.

Rory added, “I kinda wish it didn’t have to play out publicly. I thought that was a little corny. I thought we were all better than that, but you know, it is what it is. It made for good entertainment, I guess.”

According to reports, Joe Budden posted a statement on his Instagram Story this weekend that appeared to be a response to his former co-hosts. The message read, “They’ll question your character once you stop taking care of them.”

On October 15, a Twitter user tagged Joe Budden and mentioned that Rory and Mal “came up” since leaving The Joe Budden Podcast. Budden replied, “Isn’t it great!!???”

Joe Budden Threatened To File A Lawsuit Against Rory & Mal

Back in May, Joe Budden suggested he would sue Rory and Mal if they immediately launched a new podcast. Budden claimed their contracts contain a limited non-compete clause.

The New Jersey native did not actually take legal action against his estranged friends. During the Vulture Q&A, Rory and Mal were also asked about Joe Budden threatening to file a lawsuit against them over the New Rory & Mal podcast which launched in June.

Mal responded, “Yeah no, it’s not an issue for us. That’s something you would probably have to ask him, but it would be very funny — and a lot would be exposed — if he decided to do that.” Rory stated, “That’s not a route he would want to go. I can assure you that.”

As the back-and-forth between the two camps continues to play out in the media, Rory and Mal are planning to embark on their first live tour as New Rory & Mal podcasters. They will be in New York City on November 11 and Los Angeles on November 14.

Rakim Trending After KRS-One & Big Daddy Kane Verzuz

KRS-One and Big Daddy Kane had their epic Verzuz showdown last night (October 17) as the two legendary figures went head-to-head at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn. The night featured appearances from Roxanne Shanté, Eric B, Mad Lion, Das EFX, and more.

However, one legend was not in attendance and his presence was sorely missed.

Some Twitter users took it a step further. They wanted to see Rakim up there against Big Daddy Kane!

At one point last year it looked as though Timbaland and Swizz would be able to get Rakim in a Verzuz with one of the emcees he’s been most compared to throughout his career.

In November 2020 the God emcee spoke to Chuck Creekmur, the CEO of AllHipHop, and explained that he had been thinking about the idea as the popularity of Verzuz grew, the competition between the pair is 30 years deep!

“You know, me and Kane go way back. Ever since 86, 87 after Kane came out, everybody kind of compared us to each other,” he recalled before stating why it has not happened yet. “If I wake up one day, and feel like it’s important to me and my career. I don’t know how Kane feels about it. You make decisions in your career and you try to stick to that.”

However, perhaps there was a disconnect as when Chuck spoke to Big Danny Kane in June he said although others wanted the Rakim Verzuz and he was down to do it, Rakim did not.   Watch the full interview here.

Nevertheless, Rakim received his flowers in another form earlier this week as he was among those honored by the Hip Hop Museum of Washington DC. The 18th Letter was joined by rappers Kool Moe Dee, Kid Capri, Nice and Smooth, Pete Rock, Rakim, and more at a grand induction ceremony at the Ivy City Smoke House.

First-Week Sales Projections For Young Thug’s ‘Punk’ Are In

Will Young Thug add another #1 album to his résumé? The Atlanta-raised rhymer dropped his Punk album on October 15, and industry forecasters crunched the numbers in order to project how well Thugger did commercially.

According to HitsDailyDouble, Young Thug’s Punk is on pace to move 85,000-95,000 units in its opening week. Previously, the YSL frontman moved 131,000 first-week units for 2019’s chart-topping So Much Fun.

Besides So Much Fun, Young Thug also reached the pinnacle of the Billboard 200 chart earlier this year with the YSL compilation project Slime Language 2. Thug has six career Top 10 entries.

The 30-year-old recording artist currently finds his name in the Top 10 of the Hot 100 chart. Young Thug’s contribution to Drake’s “Way 2 Sexy” earned the southerner his second #1 single on the Hot 100 before the collaboration slipped to #4.

It is currently not clear where Young Thug’s Punk will debut on the next Billboard 200 rankings. Drake’s Certified Lover Boy topped the latest chart for a fourth non-consecutive week with 94,000 units.

The final numbers for Punk could rise thanks to Young Thug serving as the musical guest on this weekend’s Saturday Night Live. He ran through the Punk tracks “Tick Tock” and “Love You More” for the late-night sketch comedy show.

Punk arrived on DSPs with guest features by Drake, Future, J. Cole, Gunna, Post Malone, A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, Doja Cat, and others. Additionally, the 300 Entertainment/Atlantic Records release contained vocals by deceased artists Juice WRLD and Mac Miller.

Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ Returns To No. 1 For A Fourth Week

Drake is back on top of the Billboard 200 chart. The OVO Sound leader’s sixth studio LP, Certified Lover Boy, returned to the pole position for a fourth nonconsecutive week.

Certified Lover Boy brought in another 94,000 equivalent album units over the last tracking period. That total was enough for Drake to overtake last week’s chart-topper Fearless (Taylor’s Version) by Taylor Swift.

Drake led the Billboard 200 for three straight weeks before YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s Sincerely, Kentrell reigned for one week. Certified Lover Boy originally opened with 613,000 first-week units.

Elsewhere on this week’s Billboard 200, Don Toliver’s Life of a Don landed at #2. The Travis Scott protégé racked up 68,000 first-week units for his sophomore album. Toliver has the best-selling album of the week with 18,000 pure sales.

2020’s Heaven or Hell opened and peaked at #7 on the Billboard 200 rankings. Don Toliver was able to earn 44,000 first-week units for his debut studio LP.

In addition, YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s Sincerely, Kentrell rose one spot to #3 this week. Meek Mill’s Expensive Pain slipped one position to #4.

Lil Nas X’s Montero also dropped one slot to #6. Doja Cat’s Planet Her stayed at #7. Kanye West’s Donda climbed from #10 to #9. The Kid LAROI’s F*ck Love returned to the Top 10 at #10.

Certified Lover Boy hosts guest appearances by Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Jay-Z, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Kid Cudi, and more. The former No. 1 single “Way 2 Sexy” featuring Future and Young Thug remains in the Top 10 of the Hot 100 chart.

“From my understanding, the former owner of my estate had 17 people maintaining close to 300 acres. Even though he was very wealthy, the estate ended up going into foreclosure. So, to avoid this, I maintain the bulk of it with my buddies.” he said. “They handle the yard work, and I bought a tractor and I cut the grass. I’m thinking long-term, and hopefully I can get some other people to think this way as well.”

Jay-Z & Beyonce Selling New Orleans Mansion Months after Arson Attack

Jay-Z and Beyonce are the owners of many a palatial pad, spanning from coast to coast. Now, their property portfolio has gotten (ever so slightly) smaller with the news that they’re selling off their New Orleans Mansion. This comes just months after it caught fire in an arson attack.

Hip-Hop’s No. 1 super-couple are thought to have purchased the New Orleans church conversion back in 2015 for a reported $2.6 million. The former Presbyterian church, built in 1925, is now listed at $4,450,000.

The 13,000-square-foot property boasts towering 26-foot ceilings and vast windows. The seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom home is said to feature an incredible living green roof; New Orleans’ largest rooftop garden.

The stunning home is located in the Garden District of New Orleans, a stone’s throw from the main Mardi Gras parade route. The property doubles as an events space hosting weddings, salons, and major recording stars and corporate execs.

The Carter’s mansion caught fire back in July and though no one was hurt during the blaze, 22 NOLA firefighters battled for over two hours to combat the flames. An investigation concluded that the cause of the fire was simple arson.

If Jay-Z and Beyonce are experiencing any seller’s remorse then they’re hiding it well. The couple was in Venice this weekend to attend the wedding of Alexandre Arnault, an executive at Tiffany & Co. and the son of luxury brand LVMH’s (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE) Bernard Arnault. His bride is Géraldine Guyot, the founder of French accessory brand founder of D’Estrëe.

Beyonce and Jay-Z were recently featured in Tiffany’s “About Love” campaign.

A Masked Kanye West Performs At Venice Wedding; Twitter Reacts

Kanye West has made quite the habit of stepping out in public with a mask of late. Although many are still wearing masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the iconic rapper has been pictured around the world in a wide array of spectacular  full-face coverings.

This most recent sighting was at a high-end wedding in Venice where Kanye took to the stage to perform some hits from much-loved hits from his back-catalog.

On Saturday (October 16,) Kanye was among a host of Hip-Hop royalty attending the wedding of D’Estree founder Geraldine Guiotte and Tiffany & Co. executive vice president Alexander Arnault. Arnault is the second eldest son of Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH) chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault, said to be the world’s third-richest man.

Bizarrely, or perhaps on-brand for Kanye, he performed wearing a black full-face mask, more appropriate for a Halloween event than a wedding. But again, this is Kanye, so masks are part of his current aesthetic.

It seems as though the Balenciaga mask interfered with Ye’s performance of one of his most loved songs, “Runaway” from his “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” album.

The responses on Twitter were savage!

https://twitter.com/struggles123_/status/1449753504298332168?s=20

Kanye also entertained the wedding party performing “Flashing Lights” from his “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” project. It looks like some of the guests are wearing masks themselves so this, their second wedding reception, may have been a masquerade ball. In which case Yeezy was just following the dress code!

Also in attendance were Hip-Hip power couple, Jay-Z and wife Beyonce.

As previously mentioned, Kanye has been seen wearing masks a lot recently.

Yesterday he was seen in a fetching white mask, reportedly leaving Venice.

And then turned up in Germany later on in the day wearing the same mask.

This was Kanye back in September.

Kanye West’s estranged wife, Kim Kardashian also popped up in a mask for the Met Gala this year.

FBG Duck’s Alleged Killer Purchased Car Used In Slaying And Then Returned It

One of the five alleged gang members accused of murdering FBG Duck may have provided the Feds with all the evidence they need to convict him.

Last week, the alleged members of Chicago’s O-Block Gang were hit with a RICO conspiracy indictment for selling drugs, committing violent acts, and murdering rival rapper FBG Duck.

The men named in the indictment are Charles Liggins, aka “C Murda,” Kenneth Roberson, aka “Kenny Mac,” Christopher Thomas aka “C Thang,” Marcus Smart aka “Muwop,” and Tacarlos Offerd, aka “Los.”

During a detention hearing on Friday (October 15th), federal prosecutors said Los purchased a car in his name just a week before the shooting.

They claim the car was used as the lead vehicle in the shooting of FBG Duck, who was murdered on August 4th.

During the detention hearing, prosecutors said two gunmen jumped out of the car owned by Los, while two more gunmen emerged from a trailing vehicle and opened fire.

More than 38 shots were fired at FBG Duck, who was slain in broad daylight, in front of a Gold Coast clothing store as dozens of witnesses stood by.

Just two hours after the gunfire, Los returned the car to the suburban dealership where he purchased the vehicle.

According to assistant US prosecutor Jason Julien, Los was accused of lying about his employment on the financial application for the car used in the slaying.

According to an attorney representing Los, buying the car does not mean he was involved in FBG Duck’s murder.

A judge sided with federal prosecutors and ordered Los be locked up until his trial, saying he was a danger to the community.

All five men have entered not guilty please in connection to the murder of FBG Duck.

The feds believe FBG Duck’s murder was connected to various diss tracks and retaliatory shootings between members of the Tookaville faction of the Gangster Disciples and the O-Block faction of the Black Disciples.

FBG Duck released tracks like “Dead B######” dissing O-Block’s namesake Odee Perry, who was killed in 2011, and “I’m From 63rd,” which dissed King Von, who was murdered in an unrelated shooting in November of 2020.

Lil Durk’s#### song “Still Trappin'” name-checks the Tookaville gang’s namesake Shondale “Tooka” Gregory, the 15-year-old gang member who was murdered in 2012 as part of a feud between The Gangster Disciples in The Black Disciples.

Meanwhile, O-Block member Lil Reese called for the release of all five men.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Shines In ‘Black Adam’ Teaser

At yesterday’s DC FanDome, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson dropped a teaser for the upcoming Black Adam flick.

A picture is worth a thousand words, so check it out below.

https://twitter.com/TheRock/status/1449422941142196224?s=20

“It’s been 20 years since wrestler The Rock burst onto screens as the villainous Scorpion King, and now Dwayne Johnson is playing the bad guy again. In the first Black Adam footage, unveiled at DC Fandome on Saturday, Johnson takes on the power of Shazam as one of DC comics’ baddest bad guys. “The truth is I was born to play Black Adam,” Johnson said at the virtual fan event before the footage played, promising viewers huge action sequences and “breathtaking ‘h########’ scenes,” reported CNET.

Black Adam is set to premiere on July 22, 2022. In addition to The Rock, the film stars Pierce Brosnan, Noah Cintineo, Quintessa Swindell, Sarah Shahi, and Aldis Hodge. Like many films, Black Adam was originally set to be released this year, but it got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Created by Otto Binder and CC Beck in 1945, Black Adam was a bad guy in the original Captain Marvel series published by Fawcett comics. The film is being produced, in part, by The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions company.

Jay-Z And Beyoncé Selling New Orleans Mansion Set Ablaze By An Arsonist

Jay-Z and Beyoncé decided to sell their New Orleans mansion after a devastating fire earlier this summer.

The 15,200 square foot mansion caught on fire in the early evening of July 20th.

Over 22 firefighters were called to the scene to help extinguish the blaze, after an arsonist almost completely destroyed one of the Carter’s many homes.

Now, the couple is apparently saying goodbye to the house, which was originally built in 1927 as a Presbyterian Church.

The house, which was purchased in 2015 for around $2.4 million, has been restored since the fire.

Now the Carters are looking to cash out – the historical piece of real estate is on the market for $4.4 million dollars.

The three-story house, located in the Historic Garden District features 26-ft ceilings, seven bedrooms and six bathrooms.

The massive home even features three apartment unit inside of it, that are 1,000 sq feet each.

The billionaire couple still has homes and New York City, The Hamptons, Houston, and Bel Air, where they live in a $90 million mansion.

They also own a private island.

Questions About D’Banj Arise In The Wake of His New Album Release

Last week, D’Banj released a new album called “Stress Free.” The project was his first in four years, and you can take a peep at the lead single of the same name below.

“I’m very happy to have Seun Kuti on this track #stressfree, this is actually the first time we are working on a song together and we made this magic over a year ago,” D’Banj said in a recent interview with Punch Magazine. “He strikes me as the earthly lineage of the source of Afrobeat and I had to go to the very source to bring out this masterpiece. You really cannot separate the name Kuti from Afrobeats and Seun Kuti is known for his unapologetic approach to his craft bringing out the very best at every pitch. As you can see the horns are very very striking.”

But questions about the artist’s past have already arisen in the wake of this new single dropping. Fans pointed out that in 2020, D’Banj was accused of rape and kidnapping, and his hiatus had less to do with a potential “break” and more to do with fighting the charges.

The Guardian reports that Seyitan Babatayo accused the star of rape, and when she refused to retract her statements, she was targeted by the police, fans, and even D’Banj himself. What’s more, her alleged treatment sparked outrage in Nigeria, especially when she claimed she was forced to retract her statements under threat of duress.

“I was isolated from my family, coerced, pressured and intimidated in person by D’banj and his team to retract all statements and to announce that my testimony was a publicity stunt,” she said. “D’banj through his team has continued to harass me with incessant calls and boasting that he can buy off anyone within the justice system in Lagos.”

D’Banj has denied all the charges, and subsequently filed a countersuit against his victim for 1.5 billion Naira (about $2.4 million USD). The case is still pending, as of this writing.

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Spotify Hacked With Shocking Pictures

Hackers have targeted Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine by ruining his Spotify page.

An unknown individual managed to get into the rapper’s official 6ix9ine account earlier this morning (October 17th). It was all downhill from there on the rapper’s account, which has over 9,100,000 monthly listeners.

The channel artwork was changed to a variety of disrespectful images directed towards 6ix9ine.

The main picture featured a man’s e#### private parts. Another cartoon image was posted showing Tekashi 69 as a woman, having sex with a rat.

His biography was also changed to a rather disrespectful caption, which also took shots at West Coast veteran Wack 100.

It read:

“I grew up always wanting to be like Trippie Redd and lil durk. I’d let them hit my girl and my mom💯. My mom p#### stank. I came from the same sewer. wack 100 my boyfriend and he secretly crip.”

The pictures are so shocking, that even Spotify users were alarmed by the hack.

“Don’t check out 6ix9ine’s profile on Spotify. Worst Mistake of my Life!” one user wrote, while another added, “My day was doing just fine till i saw 6ix9ine’s hacked spotify.”

As of press time, the explicit images are still posted on his official Spotify account.

This Is How The KRS-One Verzuz Big Daddy Kane Will Be Different!

The Original Gods and the Original Gangstas will be in the building tomorrow for the night’s massive Verzuz between KRS-One and Big Daddy Kane. These two were friends back in the day and continue to be til this day. However, they have wanted to battle each other for quite some time. BUT, a lot of people felt like the battle people wanted was Rakim and Big Daddy Kane. Well, Rakim turned the opportunity down – Flat Out! Plus, KRS and Kane both agreed that they wanted to do THEIR battle differently. They told AllHipHop exclusively that they wanted to battle 15 rounds and then five of those rounds were rapping “freestyle” at each other. Or the DJs could battle too. At that time, last year or earlier this year, Verzuz was just 20 songs back to back. All of that changed with The Lox vs Dipset. And so, here we are.

KRS-One and Kane actually got what they wanted….15 songs and the rest rapping at each other! This is a real battle! They got exactly what they wanted, and it is destined to be epic. There was another side to this. First, they may include DJs battling as well! DJ Kid Capri has opted to side with KRS-One and DJ Scratch is down with Big Daddy Kane. Today was the rehearsal and we got a glimpse of what is to be. Hakim Green was lingering, Mad Lion was there, the fellas from Duck Down Records. There are certainly more out there….so here is what we can look forward too…

AllHipHop’s Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur interviewed both KRS-1 and Kane…for months leading up to this Verzuz. Here are some interviews for ya.

KRS-1 calls out Kane…and saying he will demolish everybody.

Kane talks about KRS…Rakim…and the format that would eventually come to be.

Here are some other random things going on around the internet.

Brandy, Eve Explain Why They Couldn’t Turn Down Roles In “Queens”

Brandy “couldn’t say no” to joining “Queens.”

The ABC series is set to document the reunion of the Nasty B###### – a hip-hop group from the 90s – and Brandy is thrilled to have been cast in the role of Naomi, who is also known as Xplicit Lyrics,

The singer – who has a 19-year-old daughter called Sy’Rai – said: “Music is my first love so, to be able to be a part of a show that is representing women empowerment and a ’90s legendary group – that’s never been done before.

“I felt like I could relate to my character Naomi, you know, being a single mom, trying to balance (everything) even though she doesn’t do a good job at it. I did a way better job at it but, balancing going after her dreams and having to raise a young daughter, that is something that I can relate to and I just loved it.”

Brandy, 42, also shot to international fame in the 90s, as she enjoyed success as a singer and as an actress.

And the “I Wanna Be Down” hitmaker felt she simply could not turn down the opportunity to join the cast.

“The script was a page-turner – I expressed every emotion as I was reading and I just couldn’t say no to it,” she told Entertainment Tonight. Brandy’s enthusiasm has been echoed by her co-star Eve, who plays rapper Brianna in the series.

The 42-year-old star revealed she was keen to accept the role after meeting writer and creator Zahir McGee.

“We talked about it first, then I read the script and I was like ‘How did he do this?’ It was so good and I loved my character so much that I was like, I want to be a part of this,” she said.

“It’s funny because if someone had just asked me, ‘Would you want to be in a show about a group of rappers from the 90s?’ I probably would’ve said no based off the question because we come from that era and it’s a big deal for it to be authentic and amazing and he’s done such a great job.”

Jussie Smollett Will Go To Trial In November For Fake ‘Hate Crime’ Case

Jussie Smollett will be going to trial on November 29 for his 2019 alleged “hate crime” case, which proved to be a stunt. He wanted the dismiss but the judge said “no.”

Smollett’s legal representation is still pushing back. His lawyer, Nenye Uche, says that her client should never be charged for this crime, arguing that the case was dismissed in March 2019 and he has already served a portion of his plea deal.

The Honorable James Linn says that he won’t dismiss the case because Smollett will not admit that he did anything wrong.

The evidence points to deception.

As reported by AllHipHop.com in January 2019, the Empire star told Chicago police that he was attacked by two people (presumed to be white) who had jumped him and beat him up. While they did this, they threw racial and homophobic slurs at him. According to his story, these people told him that he was in “MAGA Country,” a reference to the then-president Donald Trump and his followers (who often appear to be racist and bigoted).

Furthermore, there was another strange reference to bleach and a noose, which ultimately was traced back to him, and supports the claim that he faked the whole thing.

What put the nail in the coffin was the two men that stepped forward who said that they were paid by Smollett $3,500 to stage the incident. Brothers, Abimbola (Abel) and Olabinjo (Ola) Osundairo said that this was to be a PR stunt for one of his new projects. This caused Smollett to be charged for making false reports — which cost taxpayers beucoup money. The charges were later dropped because Smollett had connections in high places.

However, a month before the global pandemic shut down the world, Special Prosecutor Dan Webb announced that new charges alleging that he orchestrated the entire ordeal would be placed on the actor.

His trial starts after Thanksgiving on Monday, November 29.

Lizzo Tells Haters To Kiss Her Fat Black Butt

Lizzo, hip-hop news, brand new school, Cardi B

Atlantic recording artist Lizzo is not worried about anyone talking about how she chooses to dress.

In fact, she told those who have been hating on her sheer lavender dress to kiss her proverbial grits.

The “Truth Hurts” singer showed up at Cardi B’s dancehall-themed birthday party in a dazzling floor-length sheer dress. Her only undergarments were a pair of pasties and a thong.

“It’s very funny to me that people are upset that I’m wearing a see-through outfit or that I’m twerking in a see-through outfit,” Lizzo said during an Instagram Live.

She blasted, “[They’re saying], ‘This is disgusting… Don’t you have bills to pay? Don’t you got mouths to feed, including your own? Don’t you have a life to live? Don’t you want to fall in love and make friends?’ Don’t you got s—to do?”

“Go read the news, b####, before I read you, ho. The f###! Why are you worried about me?” she said.

And if they didn’t get the message, she pulled her pants down and slapped her bare booty, and said, “Kiss my ass. Kiss my fat black ass, b####.”

To up the ante (just a little bit), she posted on her Instagram a show for the haters.
