The 57-year-old host was voluntarily admitted to a hospital in New York last Tuesday (September 14th) for psychiatric issues.
Wendy also recently tested positive for a “breakthrough case” of COVID-19 so doctors are said to be keeping a close eye on her physical health as well.
According to Wendy’s brother Tommy, the legendary talk show host is still recovering.
Tommy gave an update on his YouTube channel in a post titled “WENDY WILLIAMS… WE’RE HERE ROOTING FOR YOU CHAMP !!!!!”
“I really do believe and have the faith that Wendy’s going to make it,” Tommy shared. We’ve been hit just like other families. You know it’s not easy you got to dig yourself out, you got to hold on to the memories and we have some good ones.
She’s doing well. Stable. I’ve spoken with her And we’re hanging in there. She’s hanging in there. We’re praying. She’s fighting.”
A source said Wendy Williams is currently “asymptomatic”.meaning she is showing no symptoms of COVID.
It’s unclear at this stage when the presenter will be discharged from hospital, but Wendy’s mental health “continues to improve each day.”
Due to Williams’ health issues, the premiere of the new season of “The Wendy Williams Show” has been pushed from September 20 to October 4.
Lil Nas X is getting props from condom brand Durex, for promoting safe sex.
The openly gay rapper is celebrating Sexual Health Month by promoting safe sex to his tens of millions of followers for Sexual Health Month.
One scene of his latest video “That’s What I Want,” features him dressed as a football player who suffers an injury on the field.
When Lil Nas X heads to the locker rooms to ice his injury, he ends up in a heated romp with another football player.
Lil Nas X and his love interest lock lips in the locker room during the sexually charged video, which ends with them making love in a steamy shower scene.
The rapper took the time to offer up a positive message as his debut album Montero album races up the charts.
“I’m protecting myself and everything that’s beautiful about me. let’s celebrate by recognizing Sexual Health Month and wellness for everyone, whatever their gender/sexual identity and expression,” Lil Nas X said.

R. Kelly and his legal team are hoping to have one of the major charges filed against him dismissed before jury deliberations begin.
The singer is accused of racketeering, comprised of 14 underlying acts which could send him to prison for hundreds of years.
Prosecutors claim R. Kelly oversaw an enterprise that engaged in several illegal activities.
The singer is accused of kidnapping, sex trafficking, violating The Mann Act, and bribery, after his tour manager admitted to bribing a government worker in 1994 to obtain a fake ID for Aaliyah.
During his trial, his tour manager Demetrius Smith testified that R. Kelly married the 15-year-old to protect himself, after learning the late singer was pregnant with his child.
A 1994 marriage certificate presented during the trial listed R. Kelly’s age as 27, while Aaliyah’s age was falsely listed as 18.
New court filings reveal that R. Kelly is hoping to have the bribery charges dismissed entirely. R. Kelly’s lawyers told a judge that the Illinois statute regarding bribery states the following:
“The person charged pursuant to the statute has to either promise or tender property to another person with the intent to cause the other person to influence the performance of official act.”
According to Smith’s testimony, R. Kelly “was not present when he [Smith] discussed anything about money; and that he received the money from another person not Mr Kelly.”
His lawyers maintain the statute clearly states that R. Kelly would have had to “tender property directly to the person bribed or tender property to the third person with the intent to cause the third person to influence the official act.”
R. Kelly’s defense team believes the count related to bribery should be dismissed.
Bhad Bhabie returns to the music scene with sizzling visuals for her lead single “Miss Understood.” Directed by Tiny Tapes and Orazio and filmed in Los Angeles, the high-energy video will be featured on her forthcoming EP.
From viral sensation to multi-platinum hip-hop phenomenon, 18-year-old Danielle Bregoli (aka Bhad Bhabie) is a true 21st-century star, known worldwide for her mischievous flow, razor-sharp wordplay, and unstoppable charisma. With over a billion global streams thus far, the Florida-born rapper has emerged as a landmark talent.
Co-written by London Jae (Beyoncé, Rihanna, Cardi B) and produced by Go Grizzly (Future, Nicki Minaj, Kehlani) the song’s hook “They say I’m trouble, but maybe I’m just misunderstood…” seems apropos for the star who sometimes finds herself in hot water for being so outspoken. This time Bhad Bhabie has channeled all her passionate energy into creating a new more mature sound while continuing to carve out her own niche in the hip hop world.
“I’ve definitely evolved with my sound. My new music is less gimmicky, I feel like a lot of my old music was kinda childish,” she said. “I was young, I was 14 and 15. Now I’m 18 and I’m definitely going to show that I’m more mature with my content and delivery.”
The fallout behind Nicki Minaj’s scandalous tweets about her cousin’s testicles continues almost a week after the #ballgate scandal began.
On September 13, Nicki created a worldwide controversy when she claimed her cousin’s friend in Trinidad received the COVID-19 vaccine and ended up with swollen testicles, which rendered him impotent.
“My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied,” Nicki Minaj said.
“There’s no evidence that it happens nor is there any mechanistic reason to imagine that it would happen. So the answer to your question is no,” Dr. Fauci said.
Things only grew worse after Nicki said she was invited to the White House, while folks in the Oval Office said the rapper was offered a phone call to educate her on the vaccine.
The Barbs, Nicki’s rabid fanbase, took things to another level after a journalist in Trinidad named Sharlene Rampersad started contacting her family on the island, in an attempt to track down her cousin’s friend with the swollen testicles.
“They’ve told me to kill myself. I’ve gotten WhatsApp messages, text messages, and messages on telegraph. I deactivated all of my social media except my Twitter…the locals who have chimed in to threaten, to call me, to harass me, I don’t appreciate that. It makes me fear for my safety here, which I should not have to do,” Rampersad said,
Twitter reportedly disciplined the rapper because “doxxing” is against Twitter’s terms of service.
The Media Association of T&T (MATT) has blasted the rapper for leaking Rampersad’s information, which has caused the reporter to fear for her life after she started receiving death threats from Nicki’s supporters.
“Nicki Minaj’s celebrity gangsterism towards Guardian Media Ltd’s (GML) reporter, Sharlene Rampersad, is textbook cyberbullying and intimidation of a free press in a young democracy,” the organization said in a statement.
“While Ms. Minaj may be justified in calling for scrutiny of the journalist’s methods—that is, stoking the fears of an ordinary citizen caught, through no action of his own, in the maelstrom of an international story—the rapper’s doxxing and cussing are extreme reactions that should concern those closest to her. Sensational as this story may be, it is but a global amplification of the relentless intimidation of T&T journalists that has become routine,” MATT said in a statement.
Over the past several years, a variety of journalists in the country have been attacked and assaulted for reporting, so Rampersad’s concerns are legitimate.
In 2017, a photographer named Kristian De Silva who works for Trinidad’s Guardian newspaper was assaulted while reporting on an oil company. That same year another reporter for the Trinidad-Express was assaulted and robbed.
This week, the rapper donated $50,000 to help several families in Long Beach, California raise money to bail out their loved ones.
Tory Lanez popped up at a company called Unite The People, which offers legal services to disadvantaged people trying to help their loved ones battle with legal issues.
He gave $1,000 to 50 families, who will use the money to help bail their loved ones out of jail. The rapper admitted he was almost moved to tears upon hearing the stories of some of the people he was helping.
“This whole 2 hours of this process…I had to hold back the tears just feeling the pain in some of these people,” Tory Lanez revealed.
Tory Lanez is not unfamiliar with Unite The People.
According to TMZ, he’s been a board member of the company for the last two years.
The jeweler who was accused of jerking Lil Baby out of $400,000 after selling him a phony watch, has come forward to reveal the issue has been resolved.
“Now @rafaelloandco y’all Kno better then to sell ME of all people a FAKE Or anything that could be called a FAKE ! I stand on my name the same way y’all should ! Ain’t no such thing as a mistake when that money involved 🤷🏽♂️!! Don’t Fuccin Play Wit me Cause when I’m on that I’m on that 😈 #ansameforyoupussyassniggas #dontplaywitbaby.”
According to Rafaello and Co.’s Instagram, the dispute was resolved after they refunded Lil Baby his money and gifted the rapper four massive iced out rings, which spell out the word for, and honor of the rapper’s brand 4PF.
“I personally want to apologize to @lilbaby for not doing my due diligence when selling him the attack watch. I should have inspected the watch after purchasing it from the dealer. I take full responsibility for not doing my job properly. I would NEVER knowingly sell him or anyone else – anything that is not 100% authentic,” one of the founders of the brand said in a statement.
Lil Baby seems to be pleased since he got his money back and received some outrageously looking blank for free too.
Last week, Ray J.’s manager made headlines when he claimed he had an unreleased sex tape of his client and Kanye West’s estranged wife, Kim Kardashian.
Wack 100 is well known within the hip-hop community.
In addition to Ray J., he manages some of the top rappers, including Game and Blueface. He also has a business relationship with the infamous rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine.
During an interview last week with Bootleg Kev, Wack playing he had an unreleased version of Ray J and Kim Kardashian’s infamous sex tape.
Wack send a message out to Kim’s estranged husband Kanye West during the interview.
“All I know is Kanye, holler at me, bro. We got part 2 on the laptop. It ain’t never been seen. We love for you to have it. It would be a great personal private NFT,” Wack 100 said. “It’s more graphic and better than the first one.”
However, Kim K.’s lawyers have denied the existence of a second tape.
“The claim that there is an unreleased sex tape is unequivocally false. It is unfortunate that people make these statements to try and get their 15 minutes of fame,” Kim Kardashian’s lawyer Marty Singer said in a statement.
If there is a sex tape, horny fans can forget about seeing it anytime soon.
Wack 100 said he had no plans on selling the tape. If Kanye doesn’t want to buy it, he said he would probably gift it to him or Ray J.
The videotape was purchased for $1 million, resulting in a legal battle between vivid and Kim Kardashian.
Ray J and Kim Kardashian eventually settled with Vivid for an estimated $5 million.
They ended up striking an agreement with Vivid, which allowed them to receive a portion of the videotape’s profits, which earn them royalties to this day.
According to reports, Kim K.’s dirty tape with Ray J is the most-watched adult video of all time.
In related news, Wack 100 Ray J had a new line of condoms coming out.
There are few Mount Rushmore producers in Hip-Hop. Dr. Dre is solidified as one. Some people will argue that Swizz Beatz or Timbaland might deserve a spot.
Someone might say Kanye, RZA, Havoc, or J Dilla. The six of them, and probably a whole host of others can vie for that fourth spot.
But the second and third, without a doubt, goes to either Sean “P. Diddy” Combs or Jermaine Dupri.
And so, when the thought was floated of the two doing a Verzuz against each other started to permeate the rap world, those who love Hip-Hop were salivating.
This could be better than The Lox vs. Dipset, Brandy vs. Monica, or the epic Snoop vs. DMX. The only thing, Diddy was not going for it.
As reported by AllHipHop.com, Jermaine Dupri tweeted, “Somebody let @Diddy know I’m @thegarden right now! And he gon need some training for me.”
To which Diddy shot back, “Beloved, you my n#### but your arms too short to box with God!!! You ain’t got enough hits. I’ll smash you with just [The Notorious B.I.G. and Mary J. Blige]. But I do have the [utmost] respect on you as a musical legend – [Dr. Dre is] the only one can get in the ring [with] me.”
However, after hopping on a live with Fat Joe, Snoop Dogg and yes, the So So Def king, Puff Daddy finally said “yes.”
Fans on Twitter went bonkers as the two went back and forth. If #TeamDiddy vs. #TeamJD is any indicator, this is gonna be a full out brawl — soundtracked by all our favor joints.
“So Jermaine Dupri calls out Diddy for a Verzuz and Diddy tried to act like Jermaine didn’t have enough hits. SHIIIIIIIIIIIT. He betta check Jermaine’s resume again. His Usher & Mariah hits ALONE are hard hittin.”
So Jermaine Dupri calls out Diddy for a Verzuz and Diddy tried to act like Jermaine didn’t have enough hits. SHIIIIIIIIIIIT. He betta check Jermaine’s resume again. His Usher & Mariah hits ALONE are hard hittin.
Twitter has taken action against rapper Nicki Minaj after she doxxed a Trinidadian reporter named Sharlene Rampersad.
The “Barbie Tingz” rapper posted the journalist’s phone number on her Instagram story earlier this week and threatened that “her days are (expletive deleted) numbered.”
There is no evidence that enlarged testicles are a side effect of the vaccine. Thus, Rampersad a reporter for the Guardian Media outlet tried to interview her cousin and his friend about the claim.
Nicki Minaj
This was when the chart-topping artist took note and tried to shut everything down.
Rampersad shared, “I started to get a lot of notifications on Twitter. When I eventually checked it, because I was doing other stories as well, I realised that Nicki Minaj is responding to me on Twitter.”
The rapper also posted Rampersad’s phone number in her Instagram stories, saying, “Threatening my family in Trinidad won’t bode well for you.” The Barbz took commands from their leader and started to attack the woman via text messages, calls and etc.
According to the journalist, “They’ve told me to kill myself. I’ve gotten WhatsApp messages, text messages, and messages on telegraph. I deactivated all of my social media except my Twitter.”
“To be honest with you, I can take, I guess I can take the threats from the international numbers because they are far away…and when they get over the heat of the moment, they would understand, maybe, that I meant no harm to her relatives,” she shared.
“The locals who have chimed in to threaten, to call me, to harass me, I don’t appreciate that. It makes me fear for my safety here, which I should not have to do.”
Nicki Minaj
According to Lexology, “Doxing, or doxxing, is the act of publishing personal information of a person or someone related to that person to harass, threaten or incite violence against them. The information could be their name, date of birth, residential address, email address, phone number, national registration identity card number, family background, place of employment or education, passport number, signature, password, photos or videos of the person, anything else that may be used to identify the person or someone related to them.”
“The term doxing comes from dox, which is short for documents,” the site further states. “The act is usually carried out online through social media and public forums, however, it can also be perpetrated in other ways such as with graffiti, letterbox drops, and public demonstrations.”
Minaj, whose real name is Onika Maraj-Petty, indeed doxxed the reporter by putting her info out into the interwebs. Both Instagram and Twitter removed her posts for going against their community guidelines.
What happens when a social media challenge goes left? Usually, someone gets embarrassed. Someone gets pranked. But if we are talking about schools across the nation, things can get far more serious than just the average viral moment.
According to the Akron Beacon Journal, the “Devious Licks” challenge is causing havoc as various restrooms are being destroyed by people stealing urinals, sinks, toilet stall doors, and the link to make the videos for TikTok. With Lil B’s rap song “Ski Ski Basedgod” playing in the background (revved up to a very high speed), folk are going around destroying property that they don’t own.
In two Cuyahoga Falls City middle schools, Bolich and Roberts, the restrooms have been hit particularly hard. Administrators are punishing students for participation in the vandalism, stating that students will be financially responsible for the repairs if they are found guilty of messing up the school’s property.
The superintendent, Todd Nichols, said, “I have to take each case as it comes. However, when there is damage to public property, restitution is part of the deal.”
This happened in Seminole County’s School District.
Another school system, the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District, has sent some messaging out to the parents and guardians in their community about the “Devious Licks” challenge. They asked that household heads speak to the young people in their care about what is appropriate behavior for students.
The message communicated, “We have experienced significant vandalism to our school this year. Area businesses around the high school have experienced damage and thefts as well. Make no mistake, these are criminal acts.”
The controversy has caused TikTok to remove #deviouslick, which as of September 12th had over 175 million views, from the platform and block it from search results. According to USA TODAY, the social media platform believes “removing this content and redirecting hashtags and search results” will “discourage such behavior.”

The rising hip-hop superstar took to Twitter to accuse blogger Karen Civil of stealing money from him. According to the Boston-area native, Civil — who gained national attention when she began campaigning for Hillary Clinton — took $60,000 from him. Joyner Lucas claimed that at the beginning of his career, he paid Civil that money to help him promote his career. But, ultimately, Civil allegedly took the money and ran without giving him any promotion.
This isn’t the first time that Lucas has made these claims against Civil, who bills herself as a “Young Money affiliate.”
Additionally, Lucas isn’t the only rapper who has accused Civil of foul play. Back in 2016, Dipset capo Cam’ron took to Instagram to claim that Civil stole $60,000 from his affiliate, as well. Cam’ron went public with the claim after Civil gave an interview claiming that Cam’ron and Jay-Z were enemies (a claim Cam’ron denies).
“This story Karen is telling is just another one of her lies..she stole 60k from my cousin @darealdukedagod (and we still have all the bank statements if u wanna Pursue this KAREN) and has yet to pay him back,” he said.
In the past, Civil claimed that Joyner Lucas and Cam’ron were “cyberbullying” her. But based on Lucas’s recent tweets, he seems to have a legitimate complaint. Allegedly, too, Civil was run out of New York for stealing so much money from rappers.
Check out Lucas’s tweets below.
My son was on the way and you stole 60k from me before I got in the game @KarenCivil . I hired you as a consultant and below attached was the memo you sent me. At this time I was afraid to speak up for myself becuz I didn’t want to get blackballed. I had no idea how this industry Shìt works and I ain’t want you to drag my name thru the mud so out of fear i stayed 🤐 . Until @Mr_Camron spoke up a few years ago on Twitter and then I did
After I spoke up, you had your peoples hit me directly and you tried to threaten me and then tried to make me write this fake ass apology and make myself look crazy to the public eye. See below attached at @KarenCivil’s text back in 2018 to my business partner. Smh pic.twitter.com/RGOKC5MkdB

Il never forget the day you went on vacation with my money and then picked up the phone when I called you because you went ghost, and you flat out told me “stop calling me I’m on vacation”.. 🤣 you know how long I been waiting to do this? I been hating you for many years bruh.

Rapper Kenny Kane is building a notable name out of Memphis and some serious power players are taking note. The road has been arduous, but nonetheless, Kenny Kane has risen above his trials and tribulations.
“Sh*t I’ve been doing music for at least 15 years and sh*t I even went to jail for five. When I get out I just got back to it, that got to be about 17. I’ve just been pushing in since, you know what I’m saying? Independent solo, out of my own pocket, no help from nobody,” Kenny Kane said.
“I ain’t really trying to fit into the mix, I’m just on a mission really. I ain’t really trying to fit into the mix. Because it’s like there’s so much confusion just going out in the mix and I’d rather you know stay away from that s###, you know what I’m saying? ‘Til all this s### gets squared away, I aint really just trying to get into the mix, you know what I’m saying? Some might f*ck with me that I f*ck with, so if we end up working we end up working. But it ain’t like I’m just trying to get in the mix, I’m trying to stay in my own mix.”
Kenny Kane is a true seasoned veteran of life, but Kane’s music is still finding a new home in the listener’s ear. East Memphis bred Kenny into being a student of the game, noting Biggie, Fat Joe and The Geto Boys as some of his influences.
As opposed to getting caught up in the trouble of the streets anymore, Kenny Kane is focused on his upcoming work. Releasing tracks like”Pimpin” ft Project Pat, “FTN“, “M-Town” and the emphatic “Pop My S### Remix” featuring the legendary Boosie Badazz. We see what this man can do and he’s been flooding the streets with his sounds.
In addition to his tracks with Boosie and Project Pat, he has Duke Deuce and Tay Keith records that have all hit the streets to critical acclaim. Though he doesn’t just draw inspiration from the usual sounds of the South.
“I’m a real Hip-Hop fan so it’s like, I knew if I made the type of music that I was going to like, everybody else was gonna f*ck with it. So it’s just real music lovers, it’s not just rap you know what I’m saying? Cause I listen to all kinds of shitI don’t just listen to rap,” Kenny Kane explained.
His newest movement to pair with the art is his “BOP” wave. The acronym breaks down into “Be On Point,” to make sure you stay alert and on your toes in an age of uncertainty.
The future should bode well for Kenny Kane, with his label INSPIVATE (Inspire + Motivate) expanding and the world taking note of his sound, it’s only a matter of time. And there’s plenty for the consumer to digest, Kane has been on an absolute tear with his content in 2021, dropping video after video on Youtube.
This man understands how important it is to stay in the front of your community’s mind. Kane is going to make some serious plays in the upcoming months, so tap into his infectious set of sounds above.
The man attempting to sue 50 Cent $1 billion for supposedly basing “Power” on his life declared he might have to use violence against the rap star to protect his family!
Cory “Ghost” Holland Sr. sued Fif for the astronomical amount in April of 2021.
Holland, aka “Ghost,” says he met with Kemp’s father in the early 1990s.
They supposedly stayed in touch until 2007. That is when Holland allegedly mailed a CD he made for at-risk youth to Kemp’s father with music, as well as a cautionary tale about his own life as a drug dealer leaving the trade.
Holland alleges that “Power” producers based 200 scenes on his life.
Earlier this week, Holland filed a startling document asking the court to “legally protect his interests and his family and his legal justification if violence becomes necessary to protect him or his family.”
Holland told the court 50’s associates have been making threats on his life and are attempting to “bully” him.
His motion claims that 50 Cent likes to brag about his nasty, violent feud with incarcerated Supreme Team founder/Murder Inc. associate Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff, who was accused of ordering a shooting that led to the rapper being shot nine times in May of 2000.
According to Holland’s rambling motion, “a lot of subliminal shots” have been thrown at him since he filed the lawsuit against 50 Cent and the other creators of “Power.”
“[Holland] wants to address this matter now and hopefully have it ceased before someone loses their life. [Holland] wants to keep this fight in the court but is not afraid in [any] kind of way of other kind of confrontation with anyone,” the motion reads.
More likely than not, Holland’s latest motion will be denied, and the judge will probably dismiss the entire case, but as of press time, a decision has yet to be made.
The last episode of “Power” aired in February 2020.
Holland waited to file the lawsuit until April of 2021, so his claim is legally blocked by a one-year statute of limitations in New York.
Meanwhile, 50 Cent is busy celebrating the success of the latest “Power” spinoff, “Raising Kanan,” as well as promoting the upcoming “BMF” series, which premieres on September 26.
Burgeoning Dallas native and hip-hop star Grind2Hard Osh’a has taken his personal experiences and turned them into a unique sound and story that’s relatable yet fresh.
His new track “More Than A Best Friend” embodies all those elements, serving as his first new music since the release of his latest buzzing project titled Pain Cobain.
“More Than A Best Friend” stays true to a musical style that Osh’a has indeed perfected, intersecting melodic sounds with the grit and honesty that sits at the core of hip-hop.
“More Than A Best Friend“ is about someone you bond with on a different level. It’s about that special person that brings out the best in you and you reciprocate the energy,” Grind2Hard Osh’a said. “You know their flaws; they know your flaws but still neither of you judge each other. You help each other overcome hidden demons that you wouldn’t share with anyone else. You can be vulnerable around this person without feeling like they’ll take advantage of you. This isn’t just someone random, this is about someone you can love, learn from, grow with, build with, and manifest with.”
Grind2Hard Osh’a carries a slew of influence, ranging from Michael Jackson, Nina Simone, Luther Vandross, and Tupac to Lil Wayne, Drake, Future, Z-Ro, and Rich Homie Quan. At the age of 17, he founded his own studio.
In 2018, he debuted with “Turnt To A Savage,” building an audience through his viral social media videos. Osh’a has built an organic following across socials with nearly 187K followers on Instagram and an even bigger following on TikTok, where his personality videos often go viral — amassing over half a million followers and over 6 million likes.
Most recently, he released his project Pain Cobain to buzzing reviews, racking up over 50 million global streams and charting on Apple’s Top Hip-Hop/Rap and Overall charts.
“More Than A Best Friend” is the first release of a series of music to come from one of hip-hop’s most promising acts.
Lizzo posted a TikTok video reacting to the news that the 1992 romantic classic, which starred Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, is getting a remake – and fans’ suggestion to cast her and and her celebrity crush.
In the clip, she first shares headlines about the remake, asking, “What are we talking about?”
She then shared a fan tweet featuring photos of her and Evans and repeated the question, this time with a sultry smile and a deeper, huskier voice.
“What y’all think?” she wrote in the caption to the video.
Last month, the Grammy winner made a TikTok clip joking that she and “Captain America” star Chris were expecting a baby together.
She told her fans, “This is something that I’ve been really trying to keep personal and private just between me and the father of my child. But since we’re airing out all the rumors today, I’ve been sucking in. We’re going to have a little America.”
Evans responded with a direct message that read: “Hi! Just heard about our little bundle of joy. My mother will be so happy lol. (Just promise me no gender reveal parties lol).”
Back in April, the singer revealed she had sent Evans a drunk message after knocking back several drinks and the actor laughed that off as well, saying, “No shame in a drunk DM god knows I’ve done worse on this app lol.”
Meanwhile, Whitney Houston’s husband Bobby Brown has dissed the idea of remaking the classic movie .
Tupac’s wisdom lives on, over 25 years after his untimely demise. Don’t believe that? Well, stories continue to pop up about the “Me Against The World” rapper and the many lessons he shared with others during his short life.
Actor Wood Harris had a story about meeting ‘Pac in the 90s and shared what that was like with Jalen Rose on his Renaissance Man podcast.
The two had starred in the hood classic, Above the Rim, together and got close during the filming.
By the time they met, Pac had a nice acting resume established, by starring in classics like “Juice” and “Poetic Justice,” opposite Janet Jackson.
Harris shared, “I met Tupac, I didn’t meet the superstar dude. I met the young actor, rapper. We would sit around and rap. He was very intelligent and very smart … He brought John Singleton on set, they’d made ‘Poetic Justice.’”
He told Rose that Pac helped him understand himself as an actor.
“I understood some things about filmmaking from my first film because of him. For instance, he realized how much power he had on the set and he didn’t relinquish it just for any old reason. And I’m kind of like that, like so when I’m on the set, you know, I just really stick to myself. I’m in the trailer,” Harris said. “I kind of pick that up from movie No. 1. And I think those habits were good for me. Because I watched Tupac use his power. You know, my interpretation is to do it the way I did it.”
He continued to reveal more gems he learned from Pac. Being a sex symbol requires attention to his fans.
“Outside his trailer every morning when you get there he’d have fans, he’d have women lined up outside the trailer. It was crazy,” Harris revealed.
A high-end jeweler is suing Playboi Carti for allegedly not paying for custom-made jewelry.
According to documents obtained by Radar Online, New York-based jeweler Eliantte & Co. claims Playboi Carti owes $97,063.75 for custom-made pieces delivered to him in September 2020. The items include a 14-carat white gold diamond rosary chain and two diamond tennis chains.
The lawsuit says Playboi Carti requested the custom-made jewelry and agreed to pay for the bling after it was manufactured. Carti was given an invoice the same day the chains were delivered to him.
Eliantte notes Carti made a partial payment of $100,000 in January 2021, but the total cost of the jewelry is $197,063.75. The jeweler says Carti has refused to pay the bill in full and kept the custom-made pieces.
“It is against equity and good conscience to permit Defendants to fail to pay the Unpaid Balance for goods that were custom made and are now in Defendants’ sole and exclusive possession,” the company contends in the lawsuit.

Eliantte is suing Carti for breach of contract. The company says it had to spend significant money to obtain the jewels and precious metals required to create the chains.
“In reliance upon Defendants’ representations, the Jewelry was custom-made to the exact specifications requested by Defendants and manufactured by Eliantte’s staff after many hours of careful labor and construction,” the suit reads.
Eliantte has crafted custom-made jewelry for Hip-Hop stars such as Future, Nicki Minaj, Young Thug and Migos.
Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Roddy Ricch and many more artists have shouted out the brand and its owner Elliot in songs in recent years. Playboi Carti can even be heard referencing the jeweler in his song “Beno!” on 2020’s Whole Lotta Red album.
Emojis are a part of American culture in such a way that some people can’t write a sentence or text a message without using them.
They express what we are thinking and give personality to the mundane quick bits sent over our devices.
One knows what the smiley face means. They also know what the angry face emoji means. One could probably guess what the eggplant and peach emoji suggest… but … what about Unicode Consortium’s newest creation, the pregnant man emoji?
What does that mean and who is jacking it?
Surprise, it means a lot and some people resonate with the artistic expression.
According to the DailyMail, there are about 37 new emoji characters approved by Unicode Consortium, the central bank of all approved emojis, coming to smartphones near you and one will include a “pregnant man” and a “pregnant person” to promote gender inclusivity. This move also acknowledges, according to Emojipedia, a voting member of the Unicode Consortium that “pregnancy is possible for some transgender men and non-binary people.”
Not a lot of people agree with the decision and took to Twitter to express their displeasure.
“I could probably count on one hand the number of people who asked for a pregnant man emoji. I’m not trying to hate on trans people or anything, I’m just wondering who tf is gonna use that?!”

While he sees it as poking fun at heteronormative society and its fear of queer artistry, many believe he is diminishing the very real struggle for gender identity and nonbinary recognition.
The masked Record Producer and musician widely known as Weku Did That has been mentioned by many as a master of many trades. With music and film production credits behind some of the biggest brands, B.E.T., Nickelodeon, Sprite, Vans, Sony Epic, Roc Nation, Multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter Mickey Shiloh, and more, he has definitely made a name for himself. He and his works have been featured in some of the music industry’s most trusted sources for news, Revolt T.V., Hip- Hop Weekly, Kazi Magazine, and more. What has drawn major attention to his brand is his signature full-face mask.
Weku Did That has always had a mystique to him, with first dawning a half-face mask back in 2016 on the very popular Instagram platform, he showcased his musical production while concealing his identity. Though he has worked with many independent and major brands few have seen his face. This has added incredible value behind his brand as a credited music producer and cinematographer. Not many people can tap into multiple faucets of talent and pour out high quality on both sides, but Weku Did That has managed to do that in music production and cinematography. In addition to his other accomplishments, he is being credited as being the front runner for a new wave of music production that he has coined Trap Rock.
We have heard the fusion of Rock and Hip- Hop music before when we listened to collaborations like Run DMC and Aerosmith and he is showing us that is taking it to the next level. Fusing melodic guitar riffs and bass lines with hard-hitting drum patterns. Known for his alternative style of R&B production I guess this should be expected. We first heard this style of his production being used by an alternative/ punk artist known as Bully Barbé, who is dually R&B singer Rene Bonét, in which Weku Did That produced her Punk/Rock album titled “Bully Barbé”.
Taking it a step further he is doing something that we don’t see a lot of producers doing which is releasing instrumental albums on all major streaming platforms. It’s very common to see producers release beat tapes via SoundCloud, but to release it on major streaming platforms is rare. By doing this he is cementing his position as the go-to producer for this style of production in this new wave of music. Doing instrumental projects that can be streamed online for artists to freestyle over during studio sessions or parties creates a vibe that is normally hard to find, and with the option to lease the instrumentals they are listening to through his website coupled with streaming, it creates revenue for the producer in ways that other producers have not been able to tap into without having artist actually sing or rap on the record.
It also seems that Weku Did That prides himself on exclusivity. Though he is in high demand as one of the fastest rising record producers, he retains his value by only directly working with a few artists. This is extremely important to note because as a record producer normally the goal is to get as many artists on your beats as possible, and though Weku has released two different instrumental albums, “The Case for R&B” and “Trap Rock” this can easily be seen as contributions to the artist in the independent and mainstream music industry.
His focus is extremely clear in that being quality over quantity while remaining uniquely creative at the same time. Weku Did That is definitely setting a standard entrepreneurially and is walking a path of continued growth and longtime success. Keep up with Weku Did That through the information below.
