Atlanta Rapper Dae Dae Denies Stabbing Teen Employee At Dunkin Donuts Over His Order

Atlanta rapper Dae Dae has been named in a December 2020 stabbing of a Dunkin Donuts worker in Union City.

The artist, whose real name is Marquavis Goolsby, is wanted for aggravated assault of a 17-year-old employee at the franchised pastry shop located on Jonesboro Road in South Fulton County.

Local police reported that the individual injured was a young girl, thus her name is withheld.

Details about the assault note that right around 6 p.m. “Wat U Mean (Aye Aye Aye)” artist pulled his car into the restaurant’s drive-thru in a red Audi to make an order. Witnesses state that Dae Dae, who is 28-years-old, started to snap “due to him not being able to get what he wanted.”

So upset over his order, the rapper zipped off.

However, he returned to the Dunkin Donuts to confront the girl at her job. The two got into a physical fight, a fight that resulted in him shanking her with a blade.

He allegedly pulled the knife out and wildly jabbed it at the teenager. There is a video of the incident circulating on social media.By the time the Union City police arrived on the scene, Dae Dae had already fled the scene.

The girl, still at the location of the assault, was able to share with the officers the cut on her left arm that she received from the scrap. As protocol, they asked if she wanted to go to the hospital — but she declined.

The rapper has been on the lam for six months and authorities are actively in search of him to hit him with the aggravated assault charge.

“Tiger King” Star Carole Baskin Goes Wild On Diddy And Other Rappers Over Caged Tiger

Carole Baskin, the controversial animal activist featured in the hit Netflix series “Tiger King,” is back in the news.

This time, she is chastising Diddy, T.I., Yung Miami, Lil Baby, Gucci Mane, Ray J, Teyana Taylor, 2 Chainz, and others for partying with a wild animal.

The famed rappers and entertainers attended a birthday party at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on Thursday, May 27 for Quality Control Music founder Pierre “Pee” Thomas.

The “Black Hollywood” themed party was swanky with a fully grown white tiger prominently featured at the event. Housed in a cage, Baskin alleges that the big cat looked stressed by the soiree’s shenanigans.

The size of the cage was an issue for her, as well as the feline’s breathing pattern. She blasted the celebrities for taking pictures with the tiger and demonstrating “dominion over the world’s most magnificent
animal.

While the Tiger Queen submitted that the cat was brought into the peach city illegally, the Georgia Dept. of Natural Resources refutes that notion.

The GDNR, an agency responsible for the management and conservation of Georgia’s natural and cultural resources, issued a permit for the animal to be on display at the gathering.

Baskin was focused on the tiger, she should’ve had her eye on the vixen, Yung Miami. Apparently, the female fox popped out at the party hand-in-hand with Puff.

Bruh, that is the real news!

Drake’s Deal For More Life Growth Company Goes Up In Smoke

The cannabis company that partnered with Drake has severed its ties with the Billboard Artist of the Decade.

In an email to the press, the Canopy Growth Corp. says that they are currently “divesting its participation” from the artist’s More Life Growth Company.

Apparently, the business divestiture was amicable as statements filed by The Smiths Falls, Ont. company says that both parties have agreed to end the sublicense agreement earlier this Spring (March).

The cannabis company, which partnered with the Champagne Papi in November of 2019, followed up this statement by saying that it took a $10.3-million impairment on its investment in the More Life Growth Company later that month and “derecognized” almost $34 million in remaining minimum royalty obligations to More Life.

Canopy director of communications Jennifer White said in a statement: “We have indeed divested from More Life and the facility in Scarborough which had been intended to be part of that agreement is now Canopy Growth’s R&D facility, where we will work on plant science and science development projects.”

After the two parted ways, Canopy Growth signed a deal worth $435 million to buy Supreme Cannabis and their brands 7Acres, Sugarleaf, and Hi-way in the United States.

Other brands that are on the company’s roster are Tokyo Smoke, Quatreau, Doja, and Ace Valley, a Toronto company that makes vapes, gummies, and pre-rolls in a bid to attract Gen Z and millennials.

While Drake’s team has not released a statement about the business deal’s dissolution, the rapper is preparing for other business opportunities that are on the immediate horizon.

Boosie Badazz, Young Bleu Accused Of Swindling Producer Into Signing Away His Music

Popular Beatstars producer Ice Starr is suing Boosie Badazz and his artist Yung Bleu for copyright infringement.

According to legal documents, the renowned producer has not received any royalties from his work on songs like “Miss It” and “Ice On My Baby.”

He even says that some of his instrumentals were stolen “without his knowledge, authorization, and without any compensation whatsoever” and used for those two compositions and other songs on Yung Bleu’s album Investment 5.

Ice Starr further stated in the filing that Boosie Badazz’s label, Bad Azz Music, swindled him into signing away his rights to the song, “Miss It,” a song that they released before the producer knew that his track was being used.

He is asking to be compensated for his work, his share in past profits and future royalties, and proper credit on the records. Ice Starr made his name selling tracks through Beatstars, a platform where creatives sell beats to new and emerging artists at a negotiated price.

His beats are in such hot demand that he was able to be a part of the atmospheric rise of acts like Roddy Ricch, Moneybagg Yo, Lil Durk, Boosie Badazz, A Boogie Wit A Hoodie, Kevin Gates, K Camp, Lil Mosey, K CAMP, Maine Musik, Jhony Kaze, Suigeneris, D-block Europe, Lasco, Yungeen Ace, RK, Jvnior, Paxquaio, and many more.

Yung Bleu has benefitted from the fire that Ice Starr has given him for his projects, having both “Miss It” and “Ice On My Baby” go gold.

Justin Timberlake Responds To Jab From Swizz Beatz During Verzuz

Swizz Beatz has “no problem” with Justin Timberlake after taking a jab at the pop superstar during his Verzuz face-off with Timbaland over the weekend.

The two super producers went head-to-head at Miami, Florida’s Club LIV to celebrate their hugely successful year-long venture, which was watched online by rappers like DaBaby, Nas, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, and Missy Elliott.

The Verzuz rematch featured Swizz and Timbo spinning collaborations with the likes of Aaliyah, DMX, Missy, and Jay-Z, but it was when Timbaland played one of his hits with Justin Timberlake that Swizz decided to take aim at the singer.

Calling him out during the live event, Swizz said, “You took from the black culture, you give to the black culture. Come to Verzuz and be a part of the black culture.”

The remarks had fans buzzing online, but in a recap of the song battle with his Verzuz co-founder Timbaland, Swizz made it clear he meant no harm.

“I was just having fun,” he explained. “I don’t got no problem with JT. I don’t got a problem with nobody. We’re just having fun. It’s called Verzuz.”

And when Timbaland admitted Swizz “went a little hard” on Timberlake, his fellow producer insisted it was all part of the competitive nature of the genre, laughing, “It’s hip-hop!”

To smooth things over, Swizz then gave the “Cry Me A River” hitmaker a shoutout, inviting him to take part in a future Verzuz event.

“We can’t wait to get you on stage, having fun, because you deserve it, too,” he said.

Justin Timberlake appeared to take the call out in his stride as he had nothing but praise for Swizz and Timbaland for creating the online platform to entertain fans during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sharing old footage of him dancing in the studio with Swizz, cut together with clips of Timberlake working with Timbaland, he wrote, “Congrats to @timbaland and @therealswizzz for one year of Verzuz!”

Tiffany Haddish Adopting Kids; Reveals She Gave Up Her Eggs For Money

Tiffany Haddish has finished her parenting classes to prepare her for adoption.

The 41-year-old actress – who is currently in a relationship with Common – recently revealed she was attending a course to help her learn the fundamentals of parenting before moving forward with the adoption process.

“I’m taking parenting classes now so I can adopt. I’m looking at (ages) five and up, really like seven. I want them to be able to use the restroom on their own and talk. I want them to know that I put in the work and I wanted them,” she told Entertainment Tonight.

And in an update on how it’s going, the “Night School” star – who spent time in foster care as a youngster – has revealed she has finished the classes and is pressing forward with her search for a child aged five and above.

“I’m currently looking, deciding on adopting,” she added. “First of all, especially after this pandemic, there are so many children left without their parents. It’s Foster Care Awareness Month right now, and I think we all should be aware and try to do what we can.

“I really wanted to be a foster parent, but because I’m at a certain level of success, my lawyer suggested it’s probably best to just adopt, and I’m on that process now.”

On her reasons for adopting, she explained: “All I want to do is pour knowledge in … get them ready for the big, bad world. That’s what I want to do.”

Tiffany had admitted it would be a miracle if she gets pregnant and has a biological child, because she has “taken the precautions” to make sure that doesn’t happen.

When asked about the possibility of getting pregnant herself, she said: “Let me tell you, if I get pregnant that is all God tearing down all walls, all barriers. I have definitely taken the precautions to protect me. If that s### happens, I’m going to hire some help, and I’m definitely going to cry a lot.”

And the “Girls Trip” star also isn’t interested in having a surrogate mother carry her baby for her, because she already “gave up a bunch of eggs” for money when she was younger.

“I don’t wanna pay nobody to carry my baby neither, because then I have to go through a process of getting myself injections and all that stuff,” she explained. “I already gave up … here comes something everybody don’t know … when I was 21, I was really hard up with money and I gave up a bunch of eggs.”

Diddy And Salesforce Create Digital Marketplace For Black-Owned Businesses

Sean “Diddy” Combs has launched a “curated digital marketplace” for Black business owners.

The 51-year-old rapper and record executive has teamed up with Salesforce to launch Shop Circulate, which has been described as an online marketplace that allows consumers to engage directly with Black entrepreneurs.

In a press release, Shop Circulate was described as a “curated digital marketplace that allows consumers to discover and buy products exclusively created and sold by Black entrepreneurs, (which) provides Black businesses with a platform to reach global audiences and empowers consumers to shop the world’s best Black-owned brands.”

And in a statement, Diddy revealed he wants to help advance the “collective pursuit of economic justice.”

“Building Black wealth starts with investing in Black-owned businesses and giving entrepreneurs access to the consumers needed to build sustainable companies that can thrive,” he said. “I’m excited to partner with Salesforce to create a platform that will advance our collective pursuit of economic justice.”

While Marc Benioff, chair and CEO of Salesforce, has said he is excited to “help close the unjust wealth gap” which can prevent many Black business-owners from achieving the same success as their competitors.

“Salesforce is honored to collaborate with Sean Combs and Combs Enterprises to help close the unjust wealth gap that prevents too many Black Americans from achieving economic equality,” he said.

“Shop Circulate will empower us all — as individuals, communities and companies — to support Black-owned businesses, amplify the talent of Black entrepreneurs and move us closer to true equality.”

Shop Circulate is slated to be launched later this year, and those interested in the project can sign up to their mailing list to gain early access before the initiative’s launch in autumn.

Lil Loaded’s Ex-Girlfriend Denies Cheating On Him…Explains!

Lil Loaded is no longer with us.

But, the controversy continues. The young rapper reportedly killed himself after he found out that his girlfriend was cheating on him. That was the prevailing narrative after the news broke of his death. Most people, like the rumor section on this site, took that as gospel, and continued on with business. But, we are finding out that that may not be all to the story. His ex girlfriend, who is largely drowned out in all of this, is now speaking. She’s refuting the claims that she cheated on him and then that led to his death. She is saying that she broke up with him, and then he killed himself.

There is a difference, but not really. First of all, if the young man took his own life, he just took his own life. There is a lot a lot that we can say to change that and, we can’t blame the young lady for that. It is clear, he had some issues that couldn’t be solved. Or he would be here. Now, in hindsight, maybe there are some things different that could’ve done but the difference between breaking up with someone and even cheating is really insignificant when it relates to suicide. That was the decision that he made.

I’m not really seeing a whole lotta chatter about this on the Internet and I saw some stuff before this new post even was made. But check out what she has to say and you be the judge and let me know what you think.

CJ Addresses Fake Bloods Member Rumors With “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” Verse

Christopher “CJ” Soriano Jr. has been accused of falsifying his ties to the Bloods gang. The Staten Island-raised rhymer continues to push back on the narrative that he is a real-life version of MC Gusto from CB4 or Papa Doc from 8 Mile.

CJ’s latest effort to address the rumors he is actually nothing more than an industry plant, supposedly installed by his influential relative James Cruz, comes in the form of a new verse. Yesterday (June 2), he shared his own take on Drake’s “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” featuring Rick Ross.

“First things first, b####, I’m Hit Squad Brim, and if you got a problem with it, you can suck my dick. N##### wanna kill me cause I probably f##### their b####. Crazy how a n#### I called my brother done turned snitch,” raps CJ in the clip posted to Instagram.

Hit Squad Brim is a Bloods set. Following the commercial success of CJ’s “Whoopty” single, there was speculation that some Bloods members were upset that the Loyalty Over Royalty EP creator was allegedly falsely claiming to be part of the Los Angeles-founded street gang.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CPmEky2A1aj/

Later in his freestyle, CJ says, “We were really throwing ‘Bs’ in the trap. I feel like I’m 2 Chainz. Can tell by your energy, n####, you ain’t what you claim. Should’ve seen the way we had n##### running, they look like Usain. The way I put on for the island, n#### feel like Wu-Tang.”

During a February interview with Ebro Darden of Apple Music, CJ was asked about how he deals with online hate. The 24-year-old New Yorker downplayed the effects of social media users’ negative comments about him, his past, and his music.

“There’s no response. I don’t pay that no mind,” said CJ at the time. “Everybody got an opinion, you can’t satisfy everybody. I’m gonna keep doing what I do, and elevating, and perfecting my craft. I don’t really pay no mind to what the internet’s saying.”

CJ broke out as a rapper on the rise when “Whoopty” began climbing Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart in late 2020. The song eventually peaked at #10 earlier this year. An “NYC Remix” of the record featuring Rowdy Rebel and French Montana was released in March.

Lil Baby & Lil Durk Reveal Tracklist & Guest Features For ‘Voice Of The Heroes’ Album

Tomorrow (June 4) will see the arrival of Lil Baby and Lil Durk’s highly anticipated collaborative effort The Voice of the Heroes. After publishing a music video for the title track earlier this week, the two rap stars have now revealed the album’s tracklist.

Lil Baby and Lil Durk recruited Billboard chart regulars Travis Scott, Meek Mill, Young Thug, and Rod Wave to provide features for the 18-track project. The Voice of the Heroes is being released via Baby’s 4PF label and Durk’s OTF label as well as Quality Control Music, Motown Records, and Alamo Records.

“We different we ain’t to be played with,” declared Lil Durk on his Instagram page. Lil Baby commented on his own IG account, “We Setting The World On Fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥.” A pre-order/pre-save/pre-add link for The Voice of the Heroes is now available.

Tracklisting for Lil Baby & Lil Durk’s ‘V.O.H.’

The Voice of the Heroes first started to become a reality in March when both Lil Durk and Lil Baby began posting Instagram Stories about a possible joint mixtape. Fans initially thought the collection would drop on May 28 when Baby apparently shared the wrong release date. He later confirmed V.O.H. was definitely on the way.

“Me and Durk be locked in every night. That’s the new one. We coming. Me and Durk are dropping an album for sure,” explained Lil Baby during an interview with MTV News. The Atlanta-bred rhymer also said, “It’s gonna be one of the craziest albums to ever come out.”

Previously, Lil Baby and Lil Durk united for “Finesse Out the Gang” off the deluxe version of Durk’s 2020 studio LP The Voice. The self-described “The Chicago Jay-Z” teamed up with Baby again for DJ Khaled’s Top 20 single “Every Chance I Get” which came out in April.

There’s A NEW NEW DMX Album On The Way!

There’s a new DMX album on the way! That’s right everybody, DMX already has a new album in the works. I know this may come as a shock to some people, because DMX just dropped a new posthumous album with Swizz Beatz behind the boards. However, that album has been getting a multitude of reviews, including some that were not-so-flattering.

On the other side, one of the most glaring omissions from EXODUS is the fact that Producer Dame Grease did not participate. Dame Grease showed no ill will or malice when he was not included on the last album, and he SUPPORTED IT. however I am quite sure he heard the cries of the fence. Again, he has done nothing but support the new album, but there’s always a but. Now, it seems like he has a total of 50 new DMX song done. IN THE CAN. WOW.

Yall Ready?
@dmx #Amen
Produced By @damegrease129
I’ll give the masters to @defjam only
#Exodus Album Out Now!
New album coming!
The legacy continue
The Passion and Soul
Recorded at my house with 50 more songs!

Look at the IG!

https://www.instagram.com/p/CPoXQZ4pBma/?utm_medium=copy_link

This is SERIOUS! It seems like he wants to deal only with the Lable and not RR…or Swizz. I could be wrong, but it seems like that. This only ensures that we, the fans, get some good music! By the way, I love Exodus. Dame Grease was an important ingredient to the success of the movement though. I hope they get it all right!! By th way Swizz has suggested this but not 50 SONGS….it seemed like there were some verses and stuff lingering around. 50 SONGS suggests like 5 new albums.

DUMP EM!

Lil Boosie’s Hood Idol And Mentor Busted For Drug Dealing

A man whom rap star Lil Boosie idolizes has been sent to jail for drug trafficking.

According to local reports, the rap star’s “mentor” Calvin Ricks was arrested last week in their hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

An investigation into Ricks’ alleged drug dealing activity started in April after neighbors complained about drug dealing in two houses on 69th Avenue in the city. Surveillance of the houses intensified after someone overdosed inside of one of the residences, which are both supposedly owned by Ricks.

The SWAT team set up a perimeter and raided the houses, where they busted Ricks and two of his associates. Ricks was hit with several charges, including possession with intent to distribute heroin, fentanyl, marijuana, and suboxone strips.

WBRZ Channel 2 reported that Ricks was being held without bond because he also has pending domestic violence charges against him.

Boosie is very fond of Calvin Ricks. He mentions him and songs like “Top The Bottom,” “Keep It Gutta” and “I’m That N#### Now,” where he raps:

You ain’t got to tell me girl I know I’m the s###/Got my stunt from Calvin Rick’s/He liked gold on his s###

Cops Say Mass Shooting At Banquet Hall In Florida Is Connected To Rap Beef

The mass shooting that took place on Sunday, May 30 at the El Mula Banquet Hall in Northwest Miami-Dade is reportedly connected to beef between two rival crews, the group’s rap songs, and social media posts.

The Director of the Miami-Dade County Police Department, Alfredo Ramirez III, revealed this shocking news to reporters, as he and the mayor begged the public to work to give up the names of the shooters who took the lives of two people and left 21 others injured.

The names of the two men, who were both 26 when they were killed are Desmond Owens and Clayton Dillard III.

The cops have more information than people think. Ramirez says at a press conference, “These gun-violence-driven murderers, as it has been said eloquently before me, who are targeting individuals and at the same time hitting innocent people who have nothing to do with their beef, ruining families.”

Investigators noted that there was an album release party happening the day of the shooting and that several local rappers such as ABMG Spitta were performing.

Flyers about this event were scattered around social media. Also across social media was chatter that included threats and gunplay talk. They are trying to comb through the information to build their case.

“We know about all groups, but it’s hard to predict what these groups will do,” said Ramirez.

One bit of information that has been released is footage of the shooters arriving and leaving.

A video from outside of the El Mula showed three masked gunmen with semi-automatic rifles and handguns hopped out of a white Nissan Pathfinder and raced in to shoot wildly into the crowd and escaped with the same ferocity.

The SUV was found in a canal at Northwest 154th Street and Second Avenue on Monday, May 31.

Marcus Lemonis has put a $100,000 reward to anyone who submits information leading to an arrest.

Logan Paul Thinks Floyd Mayweather Could Fake An Injury To Get Out Of Fight This Weekend

Logan Paul hosted a workout session for the media today (June 2) to showcase his skills as he prepares to take on the world’s best boxer – Floyd Mayweather.

Logan has been working on his skills at the historic 5th Street Gym, where he has been hard at work training with another legend – former heavyweight world champion Shannon Briggs.

Logan’s relationship with Shannon Briggs goes back to 2019 when Briggs helped him train for his fight against YouTuber KSI. Both Logan and Shannon believe the 26-year-old’s skills have improved significantly since his draw against KSI.

“Weight is great and we’re about at 195. Energy is great and I feel strong, fast, sharp. I have no complaints,” Logan Paul said. “This is the best shape I’ve ever been in. And I need to be because it’s an eight-round fight. It’s the longest fight I’ve ever fought. So I have to be ready.”

Logan also believes father time is on his side for the upcoming bout against Mayweather, who is 44-years-old.

“This whole thing is surreal. Everything about it. I told my manager and we kind of had an inside joke that until I get in the ring with him, I didn’t think this fight was happening,” Logan said during his workout. “But I think it’s safe to say that I can believe it now. I think it’s happening. It’s fight week. I can’t imagine Floyd would back out now, but who knows? Old man fakes an injury. Gets scared of the big kid. I’m excited.”

The highly anticipated exhibition bout between Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather It’s supposed to take place this Sunday (June 6) from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

The pay-per-view telecast begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Showtime.
