Rapper Cisco Go Crazy was sentenced to six months in jail and one year of community custody in Lewis County Superior Court after pleading guilty to third-degree rape stemming from a 2020 party in Randle, Washington.
The 24-year-old rapper, whose legal name is Francisco Prater, received the punishment from Judge Joely Yeager on Wednesday (October 15). The sentence follows a plea deal that reduced his original charge of second-degree rape, filed in April 2021, to a lesser offense.
According to The Daily Chronicle, the incident occurred on January 6, 2020, when Prater allegedly had sex with a woman who was too intoxicated to consent.
Prosecutors recommended the six-month term and 12 months of community custody as part of the agreement.
Prater, who is from Edmonds, was taken into custody immediately after sentencing. He did not provide a statement in court. Instead, he allowed the judge to rely on police reports and the probable cause statement to support the plea.
Judge Yeager also issued a five-year no-contact order protecting the victim, following the state’s recommendation.
Court records show the standard sentencing range for third-degree rape, a Class C felony, is six to 12 months. The charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Two other men were initially charged in connection with the same incident — Lil Mosey (real name Lathan Moses Echols) and Bandkidjay (real name Joshua Darrow).
Their cases were separated from Prater’s in early 2023. Both were acquitted by a Lewis County jury in March after roughly seven hours of deliberation.
Yung Miami called out Tyla on social media after the South African pop star previewed her upcoming track “Chanel,” claiming the song was lifted from a private session where she had played it for her.
The former City Girls rapper took to X (Twitter) on Thursday (October 16), posting: “This girl really ran off with my song and ion know how to feel about it mind you I played this song for this girl.”
She followed up with, “Like…. B#### I’m confused!” and added, “Take me to Chanel > put me in Chanel.”
Tyla’s teaser for “Chanel,” which drops October 24, quickly went viral, with clips of her dancing to the track circulating across platforms. But Yung Miami insists the concept wasn’t new to Tyla.
When a user commented, “Miami that song took you forever to drop,” she fired back: “Don’t matter it’s my mf song!!!” and emphasized again, “I played her the song!”
She ended her post with a promise to revisit the matter, writing, “It’s my daughter birthday I’ll be back tomorrow with the tea!”
Tyla, who won a Grammy earlier this year for her breakout hit “Water,” has not responded to the accusation as of Friday morning (October 17).
Her silence hasn’t stopped the internet from weighing in.
Yung Miami is accusing Tyla of stealing her song all because both have the word Chanel in it 😂 she claims she played this song for tyla before. Do you hear a resemblance? I don’t… pic.twitter.com/bf6lbcIsur
One user wrote, “tyla single needed more promo for next week thank you miami.”
Another dismissed the claims entirely, saying, “Young Miami is just using Tyla’s name to promote her song, cos nobody would’ve cared about it. People still don’t care about it btw.”
A third user posted a screenshot comparing Spotify monthly listeners, showing Tyla with over 29 million and Yung Miami with fewer than 150,000, captioning it: “Yung Miami can’t be serious when she got on this here internet and said Tyla stole from her…”
Eminem may have added a new chapter to his famously guarded personal life. Reports suggest the Grammy Award-winning rapper is now romantically linked to his longtime stylist Katrina Malota, according to TMZ.
The 53-year-old Detroit native, known for keeping his relationships out of the spotlight, is said to have developed a romantic connection with Malota after years of working together on music video shoots and other projects. The exact timeline of their alleged relationship remains unclear.
Malota, a Michigan-based makeup artist, has collaborated with Eminem for years and has also worked with artists such as Snoop Dogg, Robin Thicke and 50 Cent, according to her professional website. When not on set, she runs a salon in Birmingham, Michigan.

Representatives for the “Lose Yourself” rapper have not responded to requests for comment.
The dating buzz offers a rare peek into Eminem’s private life. He has largely avoided public relationships since his tumultuous history with ex-wife Kim Scott, whom he married twice.
The pair first tied the knot in 1999, divorced in 2001, remarried in 2006 and split again that same year.
Eminem has three children: daughter Hailie Jade; Alaina Marie, adopted from Scott’s sister; and Stevie Laine, whom he adopted after Scott had the child with ex-boyfriend Eric Hartter.
Over the years, Eminem has been linked to other high-profile names, including Mariah Carey, who denied their rumored relationship, and Nicki Minaj, who jokingly entertained dating speculation in 2018.
Eminem To Welcome Second Grandchild
In March 2025, Eminem became a grandfather when Hailie Jade and her husband Evan McClintock welcomed their first child, a son named Elliot Marshall McClintock. The name “Marshall” was chosen to honor Eminem.
Hailie revealed her pregnancy in a music video for Eminem’s track “Temporary,” which included footage of her giving him a Detroit Lions jersey labeled “Grandpa” alongside an ultrasound image
The couple wed in May 2024 at Greencrest Manor in Battle Creek, Michigan. The intimate ceremony included appearances from Eminem’s longtime collaborators Dr. Dre, 50 Cent and Jimmy Iovine.
In October 2025, Eminem’s adopted daughter, Alaina Scott, announced she is expecting her first child, which will make Eminem a grandfather for the second time in early 2026.
Ja Rule learned he’s about to become a grandfather during a surprise reveal from his daughter Brittney Aitken, and the 49-year-old rapper is embracing the new title—with a twist.
The Hip-Hop veteran shared the personal news during an appearance on the daytime talk show “Sherri” Thursday, (October 16).
Ja Rule told host Sherri Shepherd, “I’m about to be a grandfather.” He followed up with a laugh, adding, “It doesn’t even sound right.”
Brittney, 30, is expecting her first child with husband Tevin Aitken, and she broke the news to her parents with a heartfelt gesture.
“She put the sonogram in a box and a card that said, ‘You are now a grandma and grandfather,’” Ja Rule said. “She said, ‘I got a gift for you guys.’ And we thought it was a real gift. I mean, that is a real gift, don’t get me wrong! … So we go and open it up, and she has the camera on me to see me and my wifey’s expressions. It was an amazing moment.”
The rapper reflected on the generational shift in his family. “This is how it’s supposed to be,” he said, noting that his own parents weren’t quite as thrilled when he first announced he was going to be a dad.
Already leaning into his new identity, Ja Rule revealed he wants to be called “Big Poppa”—a nod to The Notorious B.I.G.’s 1994 classic. Shepherd presented him with a custom cardigan embroidered with the nickname on the back. “I love it,” he said, grinning. “Big Poppa is in the building.”
Brittney, the only daughter of Ja Rule and his wife of 24 years, Aisha Atkins, tied the knot with Tevin Aitken earlier this year. Their wedding received coverage in People magazine.
Sauce Walka pleaded guilty in a Houston courtroom Thursday (October 16) to evading arrest after a 2023 high-speed chase that hit 130 mph and ended in a crash, following a missed court date that triggered a warrant for his arrest.
The 35-year-old rapper accepted a plea deal for two years of deferred adjudication after failing to appear for his original hearing on Wednesday, October 15, the Houston Chronicle reports.
Judge Michele Oncken issued a bench warrant after reviewing a history of missed appearances and delays.
“Your team isn’t looking at going to prison,” Judge Oncken told him in court. “You gotta pay attention to detail — you’re not doing great.”
Walka blamed the no-show on miscommunication between his legal team and handlers.
According to his social media posts, he was visiting Houston-area smoke shops the night before his scheduled plea.
The charges stem from a 2023 incident in Harris County when Sauce Walka led deputies on a two-mile pursuit before crashing. He was released on $35,000 bond at the time.
Sauce Walka Shares Video Of Crashed Car
As part of the plea agreement, he must complete 50 hours of community service and pay $500 to the Houston Area Women’s Center. If he violates the terms, he could face two to 10 years in prison.
The rapper also survived a shooting in Memphis in March, which authorities believe was a targeted attack. The man accused in that shooting, Jayden Dandridge, was later found dead in Houston. No arrests have been made in that case.
Outside the courtroom, Sauce Walka told the Houston Chronicle he’s no longer active in music and now focuses on his businesses. His last album, Chicken & Sauce, dropped in April.
“I’m not famous anymore,” he said while posing for photos with people who recognized him.
When the judge brought up travel restrictions, Mondane noted that his location is often shared online.
“Sir, I’m not getting on your social media to watch you,” Judge Oncken replied.
Brian McKnight claims he secured an $8.8 million legal victory in a defamation case against his ex-wife Julie McKnight, celebrating the ruling from the English countryside while also mourning the recent death of his 32-year-old son Niko.
The R&B singer shared the outcome in a video posted to Instagram Thursday night (October 16), filmed roughly 90 minutes outside London, England, where he and his wife Leilani were marking the court decision.
“The verdict is in,” McKnight said. “We’ve been quiet, listening to liars continue to lie and keeping to ourselves, living and loving our life as we said, leaving everything in God’s hands, letting our lawyer do the talking.”
McKnight claimed the court awarded damages, totaling $8.8 million, after determining that Julie McKnight defamed him in a published book. The ruling also addressed financial claims made during their years-long legal dispute.
“According to the courts, trying to ruin my name and trying to bring harm to my family in a book filled with lies equals $8.8 million, and this is just the beginning. Because anyone and everyone that help promote these lies will hear from my lawyer in the days to come,” he said.
He then played a voice mail recording, allegedly of his ex-wife telling him and his current wife not to contact Niko again.
— Ahmed/The Ears/IG: BigBizTheGod 🇸🇴 (@big_business_) October 17, 2025
McKnight and Julie were married from 1990 to 2003 and share two sons, Brian Jr. and Niko. The ruling comes after Niko’s death from cancer earlier this year, following a two-year battle.
In June, Brian McKnight lashed out on Instagram following his son Niko’s death from cancer, accusing his ex-wife Julie and brother Claude of mishandling the tragedy and blocking his attempts to help, while insisting he has “a clear conscience” and that “God knows the truth.”
However, he faced renewed criticism over his estranged relationship with his older children, which he has previously described as “products of sin” and “negativity” that he cut off to preserve his peace.
A Black woman is stunned after leaving the 2hollis concert in Seattle missing several of her braids.
TikTok user Swaz (@luvswaz) posted a video with her discovery on Sep. 29. Based on the sound of her voice, Swaz is recording this the morning after the Chicago-based rapper’s show. “I actually got my hair ripped out,” she says to start the video. “I was at the 2hollis concert in Seattle. That is definitely a snap from the braid. And then I saw this braid. Oh my god. I just woke up y’all. This one’s gone.”
In the caption, Swaz wrote, “There was definitely some comments and aggression towards my braids. I could feel people pulling on it (not in a crowd crush way!), but genuinely having to grab back sections of my hair from people’s hands, full grip.”
Viewers React to the Woman’s Experience At 2hollis Seattle Show
In the comments, viewers expressed empathy and outrage at what happened to Swaz at the 2hollis concert. For the uninitiated, 2hollis refers to the alternative pop artist and relative of Skrillex. The 21-year-old is currently on tour in the U.S. promoting his latest studio album, Star.
“2hollis needs to say something about this,” wrote one viewer. “I keep seeing women get hurt at his shows.”
“I love 2hollis, but he needs to address the blatant assault at his concerts,” wrote a second person. “It’s OK to mosh, it’s OK to party, but when people are deadass being assaulted in ways that I’ve been seeing … is NOT OK. I’m sure he sees these kinds of vids, too. I’m so sorry this happened to you.”
A third person said, “People need to realize this isn’t just a 2hollis issue. Like every ‘underground’ artist has the same crowd, because it’s filled with 16-19 year-old boys. Concert etiquette doesn’t exist in these audiences.”
What Is Going On At 2hollis Shows?
In a Reddit thread posted to r/2hollis at the end of September, commenters discussed X posts from a woman who claimed her ribs were broken after an assault during night one of the Los Angeles shows.
“Broke my rib at 2holls LA N1. Everyone going tonight, please be careful and wear your hair up,” the post reads. “I was at center barricade on Tuesday night and I’m 5’4” and 97 lbs so I got thrown to the floor during ‘Two Bad’ and they dogpiled on top of me. And I found out today that my rib is cracked. Another girl behind me broke her foot during ‘No Me Importa.’”
“That concert was [expletive]. I was in the middle, got pushed pretty much to the front, crushed from the front and the back,” wrote one person in the comments.
Another person wrote, “I’m so confused whether it’s specifically 2hollis concerts having exceptionally frequent bad scenarios or it’s because this sub speaks up about it.”
“It’s been happening with so many parasocial fanbases,” responded someone else.
Five months ago, another person posted to Reddit after a show in Sydney to accuse a woman in the audience of groping 2hollis while he was performing onstage.
All Hip Hop contacted Swaz via TikTok comment and direct message for comment. We also contacted representatives for 2hollis via email for comment.

A California Walmart customer is outraged after an interaction with a receipt checker she says had a “disgusting” attitude.
TikTok user @krymiariiver posted a video about the encounter on Sep. 30. “I’m walking out of Walmart with a Walmart bag that is bigger than my head, mind you,” she says to start the video. “And I’m listening to a voice note, right. I hear the lady at the door say ‘receipt’ but I’m literally on the phone, so I keep it pushing.”
Most of the time, the interaction would’ve ended right there. But the Walmart employee continued the conversation. “I hear her say, ‘You’re on camera,’” @krymiariiver says. “I take my headphone out and I turn around and I say, ‘Excuse me?’ She said, ‘You heard me.’ I said, ‘Yes, I did hear you, but I’m not obligated to show you my receipt.’”
California Walmart Customer Asks Receipt Checker for Manager
At that point, a woman behind @krymiariiver chimed in to agree that @krymiariiver didn’t have to show her receipt and that the employee was essentially accusing @krymiariiver of theft. “[The woman] asks her what her name is and Barbara takes off her name tag and begins to put it in her pocket,” @krymiariiver recalls.
The fact that the employee would hide her name tag indicated to @krymiariiver that Barbara might’ve violated store policy with her comments.
“So that’s when I asked, ‘Hey, Barbara, can I speak to your manager, please?’ She told me, ‘Go find her.’ Excuse me?” says @krymiariiver, clearly still outraged. “I said, ‘Oh my god, your attitude is so disgusting.’”
@krymiariiver concludes the video with a question for the corporation. “So my question to Walmart is why do you give the option to your customers to text the receipt or print the receipt?” she asks. “Because I texted it to myself. I didn’t have a printed receipt to even show her. Why is she sitting there pressing me over a receipt?”
Viewers React to the Walmart Receipt Incident
In the comments, viewers expressed disbelief at the situation and outrage on @krymiariiver’s behalf.
“The lady behind you being your hype man,” wrote one person.
A second person said they also opt out of receipt check. “I stopped showing my receipt when I learned it wasn’t forced,” they wrote.
“Walked out? Girl, you left without complaining to anyone?” said a third person.
Someone else suggested, “Call Walmart and ask for a manager. You have every right to get her in trouble.”
Do You Have to Show Your Receipt At Walmart?
In short, you don’t have to show a receipt when you leave Walmart. However, forgoing the receipt check might give employees like Barbara the impression that you’re stealing. If an employee does have “reasonable” suspicion that a shopper is committing theft, they are able (depending on state law) to stop and ask you for a receipt.
So it might be one of those situations where you don’t have to follow the rule, but it’s easier in the long run if you just do it.
All Hip Hop contacted @krymiariiver via TikTok comment and direct message for comment. We also contacted Walmart to clarify its receipt check policy via online contact form.
Kim Kardashian revealed that her four children haven’t heard from Kanye West in months. She continues to raise them on her own while navigating a strained co-parenting dynamic.
During her conversation with Call Her Daddy podcast host Alex Cooper, the SKIMS founder opened up about the emotional toll of managing full-time parenting while still trying to maintain a connection between their kids — North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5 — and their father.
“It’s not easy,” Kardashian said. “I mean, I raise the kids full-time. They live with me. I welcome a great, healthy relationship with my kids and their dad. He knows that. I push for it all the time, but I also protect them when it’s time for that and it goes in waves and phases.”
When asked how often West reaches out to the children, Kardashian didn’t sugarcoat it.
“Whenever he’ll call for them and ask. It’s probably been a couple months since we’ve heard from him,” she said.
Kardashian also addressed public speculation that she blocks West from seeing their children, pushing back on that narrative.
“There’s been so many times I just want to show all these texts, like what are you talking about?” she said. “I will always let them see their father… I send them to Saudi Arabia, Italy, Japan and I’ve never once denied it.”
She also reflected on her bond with her late father, Robert Kardashian, and how it shapes her approach to co-parenting.
“I have the best memories and the best relationship with my dad,” she said. “So I just welcome healthy relationships, but it’s not easy.”
The former couple finalized their divorce in 2022, with a custody agreement that includes joint legal and physical custody. West, however, is required to pay $200,000 per month in child support.
Earlier this year, West claimed on social media that he hadn’t seen their son Saint, which added to the ongoing tension between the two. However, Kardashian’s recent comments suggest she’s made repeated efforts to keep the lines of communication open.
Bronx rapper Mickey Factz has been named an adjunct professor at New York University’s prestigious Clive Davis Institute, where he will teach “The Art of the MC” starting October 23.
The course marks a significant milestone for the 42-year-old artist, who takes over from Black Thought of The Roots. Factz will guide students through the history and craft of Hip-Hop over seven weeks.
“It’s an honor to continue the legacy of MCs that preceded me to teach at the Clive Davis Institute,” Mickey Factz said in a statement. “I will be bringing my expertise, wealth of knowledge and mentoring to a historic space such as NYU.”
The class will function as a workshop. Students will explore song structure, freestyle development, and stage presence. They will also study the philosophies behind Hip-Hop as both a musical movement and cultural force.
Factz brings impressive credentials to the role. The rapper gained national attention as part of XXL Magazine’s 2009 Freshman Class alongside artists like Kid Cudi and Wale. He has collaborated with major stars, including Drake and Kendrick Lamar, throughout his career.
Beyond performing, Factz has established himself as an educator. He founded Pendulum Ink Academy, an online school focused on teaching lyricism and Hip-Hop fundamentals. The academy has graduated multiple classes of aspiring rappers.
“We could not be more thrilled to welcome Mickey Factz to the Clive Davis Institute for the ‘Art of the MC’ course,” said JD Samson, director of performance at the institute. “Professor Mickey is entering the department with his groundbreaking hip-hop pedagogy and decades of experience as a lyricist, educator, and cultural innovator.”
The Clive Davis Institute at NYU Tisch has long championed diverse musical genres. The program aims to prepare students for careers in the modern music industry.
Factz also has deep roots in battle rap, a competitive form of Hip-Hop that emphasizes wordplay and improvisation. This background will likely inform his teaching approach as students learn to craft compelling verses under pressure.
The rapper expressed gratitude to colleague Shawn Setaro for recommending him for the position. “Long Live Lyricism. Class is in session. Literally,” Mickey Factz added.
NYU students will now have access to instruction from an artist who has spent over 15 years perfecting his craft. The course represents the university’s continued commitment to legitimizing Hip-Hop as an academic subject worthy of serious study.
D’Angelo, the elusive R&B virtuoso behind Brown Sugar and Voodoo, died at 51 after a private and extended fight with cancer, his family confirmed Tuesday.
“Dear daddy, there are no words to describe this immeasurable loss,” she wrote.
“I’m in absolute disbelief and shock. you were my biggest hype man my protector my biggest musical inspiration the kindest and most selfless man and the best father anyone could’ve ever had.”
The 26-year-old described her father as a constant source of strength and comfort, especially in his final days.
“No one will EVER measure up to how brave and strong you are. Till the very end, you made sure to protect me from anything that would scare or hurt me. I love you so much, Daddy.”
D’Angelo kept his health battle out of the public eye, choosing to face the illness quietly. The news of his death came as a surprise to many, including those closest to him.
Imani reflected on the time she wished she still had with her father.
“For you to show me new music, play piano with me to our favorite songs, or to go back and forward about our favorite go to meals,” she wrote. “You’re a one of a kind soul, and I’m so grateful you chose me to be your daughter.”
She added, “I’m not sure how I’ll be able to live on without you, but I’ll never forget all of your advice and things you’ve told me on how to get through this life. Dad…I miss you more than life and this is breaking my heart into a million pieces.”
Imani ended her tribute with a promise to honor his legacy. “Everything I do will always be for you. I’m gonna miss you and hearing your voice every single day. I’ll always be your BabyGirl.”
D’Angelo is survived by his three children: Michael, Imani and Morocco.
Cam’ron addressed Dame Dash and the fallout from their tangled feud involving 50 Cent, saying the Roc-A-Fella co-founder dragged him into a mess that wasn’t his to begin with.
In a recent episode of his YouTube series “Talk With Flee,” the Harlem rapper responded to Dash’s public apology and explained why he’s not rushing to forgive.
Cam’ron said he felt manipulated by Dash during Dash’s issues with 50 Cent, which escalated after Cam’ron started working with 50 on a Paid In Full adaptation.
“This whole s### started with Dame and 50,” Cam’ron said. “And then used me, talking about Dame, as a pawn, how I felt about it, to combat with 50, and I’m catching strays. Then I catch a stray, I can’t spin off and shoot back or nothing.”
When asked whether he accepted Dash’s apology, Cam’ron replied, “You don’t know who to trust out here. You don’t know how a n#### feeling today and how they gonna feel tomorrow. Man, that’s all I can say.”
He added, “I know one thing, I spoke to 50. Me and 50 straight, and we on the same page.”
The tension between Cam’ron and Dash reignited after Dash mocked Cam’s collaboration with 50 Cent, calling the G-Unit mogul his “new boss.”
Cam’ron fired back with personal jabs at Dash’s finances and appearance. The situation worsened when Dash filed a $300 million lawsuit against Cam’ron, claiming defamation and emotional distress.
“I ain’t got nothing else to say about it,” Cam’ron continued. “I thought we were snapping. And it just got really, really deep. I ain’t know it was lawyer deep off snapping. I know it got a little personal for him. But you know he got personal, too.”
Damon Dash Extends Olive Brach To Cam’ron & 50 Cent
Back in September, Dash attempted to make peace with both Cam’ron and 50 Cent.
Initially, 50 appeared open to the idea, posting on Instagram, “I agree with Dame [100] percent it’s better to work together.” But that changed quickly.
“oh wait. CAM just said f### Dame and his fake chat GPT law suit. so it’s f### you Dame,” 50 Cent wrote in a follow-up post.
Yandy Smith-Harris spotlighted domestic violence awareness and survivor empowerment during a recent PIX11 News segment with fellow Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta castmate Karlie Redd, using their television platform to push for visibility and resources during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Appearing on PIX11’sNew York Living on October 16, 2025, the two reality stars spoke openly about their advocacy work and the importance of community support for survivors.
Smith-Harris, the founder of the Big Heart Foundation and Karlie Redd used the opportunity to promote their organization’s Courageous Awards, which honor individuals who have endured and overcome domestic abuse.
The Courageous Awards ceremony, hosted by the Big Heart Foundation, takes place at Atlanta City Hall on October 22, 2025, from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. The event recognizes survivors and provides a platform for stories of resilience during a month dedicated to raising awareness about domestic abuse.
“A lot of times, people just don’t have the resources, and they just don’t know. So we felt like with our platforms, we can really spread the word. And we didn’t just want to spread the word. We also wanted to honor the people that are really out there doing the work, because they are really doing the work every day, all day. And with this award, we hope that we bring awareness to these organizations, and we honor the survivors that have used their platform and their stories to help other people,” Smith-Harris said.
Karlie Redd joined Smith-Harris on the PIX11 broadcast to help amplify the message, stressing the importance of connecting survivors with support systems and resources.
“My husband got arrested for domestic violence and it went viral,” Karlie Redd said. “A lot of people were reaching out to me in my DMs, and one particular situation that resonates with me, which made me think about the Courageous Awards and coming to Yandy about it.
“A young lady reached out to me and she was just so lonely and she was going through it and I said, go get a hotel, get away, you know, and she did. And then I just didn’t hear from her anymore. I mean, we were talking every day. And I said, okay, well, maybe she’s okay. Her family reached out and said her music killed her, and that they saw the DMs, and they were happy that she had someone to talk to. And from then on, I said, you know what? This is something personal for me.” Karlie Redd revealed.
Both women have used their visibility on VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta to advocate for social issues beyond the screen.
With over 4 million Instagram followers, Smith-Harris has built an extensive digital following that she frequently mobilizes for causes tied to justice and community upliftment.
Karlie Redd, also a longtime cast member, has similarly leaned into advocacy work, using her platform to support initiatives that affect women and marginalized groups.
Booba was taken into custody on Wednesday in Paris after rival rapper Gims filed a police complaint accusing the outspoken rapper of harassment and online abuse.
The artist was detained and questioned by authorities over claims of psychological harassment and cyberbullying made by Gims and his wife, Demdem, over his song “Dolce Camara.”
The complaint is tied to their long-running public feud, which has played out across social media and in the press.
The arrest marks another legal hurdle for Booba, who has previously been indicted in a separate harassment case involving Magali Berdah, a well-known figure in French reality television.
His aggressive online persona and public clashes have made him a controversial figure in the French Hip-Hop scene.
Gims, a chart-topping artist with a massive following in the Francophone world, has largely avoided public spats but took legal action this time. The rivalry between the two rappers has simmered for years, fueled by insults, diss tracks and social media jabs.
According to French media outlet Le Parisien, legal proceedings are expected to move forward in the coming days.
HoodTrophy Bino pulled the plug on his affair with Chrisean Rock after she refused to cover up that giant Blueface tat on her face—and he aired it all out on livestream like it was nothing.
The Los Angeles rapper, who started dating Rock back in August 2024, hopped on social media and made it real clear why he bounced: “If she can’t cover the s### up, then I’m gone. I don’t wanna look at a n####. I don’t wanna look at another n#### bro… It ain’t get covered up. The b#### don’t wanna cover it up, so I had to go.”
Yikes.
Bino didn’t hold back about how much he was into her, either, saying he loved Chrisean, but Blueface on her face just wasn’t working.
“I ain’t gonna lie, I was really in love,” he said. “I had to snap out of it because I was so f##### up, I was gonna crash out. If I ain’t snap out of it, she was gonna break my heart.”
Chrisean Rock and Bino first went public a few months ago, right around when Blueface started his four-year bid for violating probation on a 2021 assault case. She and Blue have had a chaotic back-and-forth for years and even have a kid together, born in 2023.
Now Blueface might be coming home soon.
His mom, Karlissa Saffold, said he’s “only days away from release.”
According to her, “He’s doing well, he’s doing his push-ups and sit-ups and preparing to come home. I get to talk to him couple times a week, he talks to the kids. He’s excited about coming home and getting to work and being a dad.”
That face tat has been a problem for a while. Earlier this year, Chrisean Rock hinted she might get it removed—maybe even move on from Blueface for good.
Clearly, that plan didn’t last long, and now she’s single again.
Angel Reese turned the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show into a moment for the record books Wednesday night (October 15) in Brooklyn as she became the first professional athlete to walk the brand’s iconic runway while Missy Elliott closed the night with a high-octane performance of her biggest hits.
The 23-year-old Chicago Sky forward strutted through Steiner Studios in two head-turning pink looks, marking a major crossover from hardwood to high fashion.
Her debut included a white lingerie set adorned with pink roses and a dramatic rose-covered shawl. For her second walk, she wore silver-and-white wings, a glittery pink cutout tee, and strappy heels.
“I literally could not stop smiling!” Reese said when she got the call for the show. “It’s such a surreal and full-circle moment — just last year I was in the audience manifesting being on that runway.”
Her confidence on the catwalk mirrored her dominance on the court. Drafted by Chicago in 2024, the LSU alum quickly made headlines as the fastest player in WNBA history to notch 500 points and 500 rebounds. She earned back-to-back All-Star nods and was named the Sky’s 2024 Player of the Year.
“I hope I can inspire women and girls everywhere,” Reese said. “We can dominate in our field but also chase our goals outside of it.”
Meanwhile, Missy Elliott capped off the night with a crowd-thumping set featuring “Minute Man,” “Get Ur Freak On,” “Work It” and “Lose Control.” Dressed in a sparkling outfit with platform boots and sculptural hair knots, the Hip-Hop legend brought her signature flair to the stage while models danced behind the scenes.
Snoop Dogg launched a colorful new chapter in his children’s series Doggyland by teaming up with GLAAD and former The Voice finalist Jeremy Beloate for Spirit Day, just two months after his remarks about Disney’s Lightyear stirred backlash.
The Hip-Hop icon joined forces with Beloate—an openly LGBTQ singer he mentored on NBC’s singing competition—to debut a new song titled “Love is Love,” which promotes acceptance and celebrates diverse families.
“I think that’s why we’re able to take our platforms and do the things that unite people, because by seeing us together, it just shows that beautiful people are beautiful people,” Snoop Dogg said about the project. “You don’t have to put us in a box and think that I’m only supposed to hang with these type of people and you’re only supposed to hang with those type of people. People are people, and one thing I love about music is the universal language of all people.”
The track is featured in a fresh Doggyland episode where Beloate voices a puppy named Zippy, who performs the inclusive anthem alongside Snoop’s character, Bow Wizzle.
The animated episode includes scenes of same-sex parents with their children, reinforcing the message of love and unity. The lyrics echo that theme: “Our parents are different. No two are the same, but the one thing that’s for certain is the love won’t change.”
During a conversation with Beloate, Snoop reflected on the purpose of the project.
“It’s teaching parenthood. It’s teaching situations that kids in the world is going through right now in a beautiful way through song, dance, melody, just trying to get more clarity on how we live and the way we live,” he said. “And I felt like this music is a beautiful bridge to bringing understanding.”
He added, “It’s a beautiful thing that kids can have parents of all walks and be able to be shown love, to be taught what love is, because hate is taught and so is love. And I think that being able to have parents of all walks of life, whether it’s two fathers, two mothers, whatever it is, love is the key. And I think these kids are being loved by these great parents that are, you know, showing them an example of what family is.”
The collaboration arrives after Snoop’s appearance on the It’s Giving podcast, where he recounted taking his grandchildren to see Lightyear, which includes a brief scene of a same-sex couple. His grandson’s questions about the characters’ family structure left him at a loss.
“They’re like, ‘She had a baby with another woman,'” Snoop recalled. “Well, my grandson, in the middle of the movie, is like, ‘Papa Snoop? How she have a baby with a woman? She’s a woman! He admitted, “It f##### me up. I’m like, scared to go to the movies now. Y’all throwing me in the middle of s### that I don’t have an answer for.”
Following the backlash, a statement circulated online that appeared to be from Snoop, reading, “All my gay friends [know] what’s up, they been calling me with love. My bad for not knowing the answers for a 6-year-old. Teach me how to learn. I’m not perfect.”
However, his team later said the post was not official.
Beloate, who recently signed with Snoop’s Death Row Records, also released his debut single “Show Me (How Fast You Can Break My Heart),” produced by Matias Mora. On Instagram, he credited Snoop for giving him the space to explore his artistry.
“With the support of Snoop Dogg and after signing to Death Row Records, I’ve had the space to really discover what feels honest and true to me,” he wrote.
Spirit Day, celebrated annually on October 16, encourages public figures and organizations to wear purple in solidarity with LGBTQ youth and to speak out against bullying.
Snoop participated by wearing purple and using his platform to promote understanding.
Benzino caught heat online Wednesday (October 15) after posting a tribute to the late D’Angelo that featured his own 2020 music video inspired by the neo-soul pioneer’s sensual visuals.
The Benzino video, titled “The Bigger Picture,” borrowed heavily from D’Angelo’s 1999 “Untitled (How Does It Feel)”—a slow, shirtless, sweat-drenched homage to intimacy that became a cultural moment.
But instead of praise, Benzino’s attempt to honor the late singer drew mockery and disbelief.
“I absolutely was influenced by the Amazing artist DAngelo Rip King your music is timeless,” Benzino wrote in the caption of the Instagram post, which had its comments turned off—possibly to avoid the exact kind of reactions that exploded elsewhere.
Once the clip landed on X (Twitter), the dragging began. One user reposted the video with the line, “No way he’s getting into heaven,” and the floodgates opened.
“Somebody called someone a ‘Sentient Neckbone’ on here a few days ago. Benzino fits that description as well,” one comment read.
Another chimed in, “I will never forget that someone said he looked like a muscle spasm in this video.”
A third user took aim at Benzino’s daughter, rapper Coi Leray. “Benzino should burn irl then go to Hell for that D’Angelo tribute video #MentalHealthMatters,” they wrote. “Dear Coi Leray, I’m sorry that that man is your father and so deranged.”
The original “Untitled” video debuted in December 1999 as the third single from D’Angelo’s Grammy-winning album Voodoo.
D’Angelo, born Michael Eugene Archer, died on October 14 at age 51 after a private battle with pancreatic cancer.
His family described him as “the shining star of our family” and remembered his “extraordinarily moving music.”
Rising rapper Suave Drilly was gunned down Wednesday evening outside a Mott Haven parole office where the 27-year-old drill rapper had reportedly just completed a meeting.
The rapper suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso at the intersection of Alexander Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard around 5:50 P.M.
Emergency medical services transported the Bedford Park resident to NYC Health and Hospitals Lincoln, where doctors pronounced him dead. Video footage circulating online shows the desperate life-saving efforts as shocked bystanders watched the scene unfold.
Suave Drilly’s breakthrough came with “Opp Spotter,” featuring Spazz Drilly and Good Day Ray, which accumulated over 900,000 views after his release from prison in January 2024.
The track launched just before his June 2020 arrest as part of a sweeping gang investigation. His goal was to reach one million views while staying focused on his music career.
The rapper’s motivation extended beyond personal success. Suave Drilly dedicated his work to keeping the Drilly name alive, “in memory of his fallen brother, Dumout Drilly,” who died in 2018.
Suave Drilly faced legal troubles as one of 20 alleged G-Side Drilly gang members arrested in April 2022 on charges including murder, shootings and stabbings.
Drill rap emerged as a controversial Hip-Hop subgenre addressing gang life and street violence. New York Mayor Eric Adams met with drill artists in February 2022, clarifying his position on the music.
“We pulled Trump off Twitter because of what he was spewing, yet we are allowing music, displaying of guns, violence, we are allowing it to stay on the site because look at the victims. We’re bringing [social media companies] in, we’re going to show exactly what is being displayed, and we are alarmed by it. We are alarmed by the use of social media to really over-proliferate this violence in our communities,” Adams explained.
No arrests have been made in the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to determine the circumstances surrounding Suave Drilly’s death.
Drake unleashed a new snippet from his upcoming album “ICEMAN” that appears to target A$AP Rocky and other rappers, marking his first musical response since his defamation lawsuit against Universal Music Group was tossed out of court earlier this month.
The Toronto rapper delivered pointed bars over an ominous beat, with lyrics that many interpret as direct shots at Rocky’s recent legal troubles and loyalty issues within A$AP Mob.
“Talk about Drake and you get a whole lot/Talk about Drake and you get you some streams,” Drake raps in the leaked audio.
The most pointed verses seem aimed at Rocky’s assault trial involving A$AP Relli, where Drake questions loyalty among crew members.
“Man how the f### is your day one gonna testify so you can sit in a box/Either you ain’t never did s### for your brothers or they must’ve forgot,” he delivers with calculated precision.
This musical retaliation comes as Drake faces mounting criticism following his legal defeat against UMG. The judge dismissed his defamation case over Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which labeled him a “certified pedophile.”
Drake initially accused UMG of artificially inflating the track’s streams before pivoting to defamation claims.
Rocky described the Drake-Kendrick battle as “healthy for Hip-Hop” while questioning Drake’s decision to involve lawyers rather than responding musically.
The timing appears strategic as Drake prepares to release ICEMAN, his ninth solo project. Johnny Manziel previously hinted at a November release window for the album, which already features singles “Which One,” “What Did I Miss?” and “DOG HOUSE.”
A$AP Rocky’s comments about A$AP Mob’s current dysfunction may have provided additional ammunition for Drake’s bars.
“I played a father figure for a lot of these guys despite us being close in age,” Rocky told ELLE Magazine about managing internal conflicts within the collective.
The snippet represents Drake’s first substantial musical response since the Kendrick battle concluded with widespread consensus favoring the Compton rapper.
Drake’s ICEMAN album remains without an official release date beyond Manziel’s November speculation.
