EXCLUSIVE: Drake’s Explosive Lawsuit Delayed As Wildfires Burn UMG’s Resources

Drake’s legal battle with Universal Music Group (UMG) over a controversial diss track is being delayed after the wildfires in Los Angeles caused a delay in the record label’s defense.

UMG, the defendant in the high-profile lawsuit filed by the Canadian rap star, has requested a 34-day extension to respond to the claims, citing the impact of the natural disaster on its executives and legal team.

UMG’s lawyer, Nicholas P. Crowell, submitted a formal request to the court, explaining the urgent need for additional time.

“We request this extension…because the wildfires in Los Angeles have greatly impacted Defendant’s executive and legal teams. An extension from the Court would enable sufficient time to respond,” Crowell explained.

Drake’s lawsuit accuses UMG of defamation and harassment tied to Kendrick Lamar’s song “Not Like Us.”

The rapper alleges that UMG approved and promoted the track, which he claims falsely portrays him as a pedophile.

According to the filing, this led to real-world consequences, including violence at the artist’s Toronto home.

On May 7, 2024, a shooting on the rapper’s property injured a security guard, an attack Drake attributes to the incendiary lyrics.

Crowell also emphasized that it was UMG’s first extension request and noted the plaintiff’s consent to the delay.

While UMG denies Drake’s accusations, describing the lawsuit as an attempt to suppress artistic expression in Hip-Hop, Drake’s legal team has painted a picture of corporate irresponsibility.

The lawsuit claims that UMG prioritized “corporate greed over the safety and well-being of its artists,” a bold charge that has cast new light on the often-tense relationship between major record labels and their performers.

UMG is asking for a date of March 17 to prepare its official response to the claims, if the court approves of the extension.

Boosie Badazz Shades Joe Biden While Asking Donald Trump To Pardon Federal Gun Charge

Boosie Badazz is once again doing his best to get the attention of President Donald Trump for his own personal legal gain.

On Wednesday (January 22), the Baton Rouge Hip-Hop veteran issued an impassioned plea to Trump via a lengthy tweet to take a look at his firearm possession case. Though he previously called on Trump to pardon him in the case last year in November while the general election was wrapping up, he switched up his approach this time and used the 47th President’s political arch rival Joe Biden as bait. In his latest address, Boosie highlighted Biden’s last act as president, which included pardoning thousands of non-violent offenders and his family members, as the base of his argument.

“Trump CHECK MY CASE OUT,” Boosie Badazz exclaimed in the all-caps written tweet. “MY CASE WAS DISMISSED BUT BIDENS DOJ RECHARGED ME WITH THE SAME GUN CHARGE BIDEN PARDON HIS SON OF. I WAS TOLD I AM THE ONLY PERSON IN THE COUNTRY FACING THAT CHARGE NOW.”

Boosie Badazz continued, calling on Trump to have some compassion for him considering he’s already served a lengthy prison sentence. “PRESIDENT TRUMP , I ALREADY WAS GIVEN A 10 YEAR SENTENCE N STATE N 2009 FOR 3 rd offense MARIJUANA ( grams ,grams, grams ) I NEVER WAS EVEN OFFERED REHAB STRAIGHT TO PRISON,” he wrote.

He added, mentioning that his status as a rapper and entrepreneur has made him a target, seemingly likening himself to Trump who was convicted of 34 federal charges in 2024. “N TRUMP IM BOOSIE IM A RAPPER/ FILMMAKER FROM BATON ROUGE,” he wrote. “I WAS TARGETED.. MY MOUTH N THINGS I STAND ON GET ME N ALOT S### BUT IM REAL! My lawyer MEGHAN BLANCO can explain this case. She knew the charges n against you were bad she even spoke about it on radio.”

For reference, Biden pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, of his federal felony conviction related to gun possession and tax charges. More specifically, Hunter was convicted of lying on a federal form when purchasing a firearm in 2018. Hunter was convicted of falsely stating he was not a drug user and pleaded guilty to charges of evading at least $1.4 million in taxes. The pardon Biden issued in December 2024 spared his son Hunter from a possible prison sentence.

On the other hand, Boosie’s case stemmed from his arrest in San Diego in 2023 following a traffic stop during which authorities claim they recovered two loaded guns. Authorities reportedly tracked Boosie via Instagram and claimed he was located by a helicopter in a “gang-affiliated neighborhood” after appearing in a video with a “known gang member.” Boosie has accused the prosecutor in the case of being racist after he was indicted on the same charge, despite the dismissal of the case weeks earlier. In July 2024, Boosie also spoke out about the indictment, which he alleges comes from federal prosecutor “M. Wheat” who had previously charged him with the same felony gun possession that was dismissed by a federal judge.

Boosie’s Biden-bashing petition to Trump comes on the heels of news that the President revoked 78 of the executive orders the administration before him signed into effect. Trump also revoked key executive orders from other former presidents including the executive order 11246 which included the Equal Employment Opportunity Act that Lyndon B. Johnson signed into effect in 1965. The order prohibited discrimination in hiring and employment based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. He’s also revoked orders concerning environmental justice in low-income and minority communities.

Jim Jones Uses Tracy Morgan’s Walmart Lawsuit As Metaphor To Defend Drake’s UMG Legal Move

Jim Jones has revealed his opinion on why Drake is justified in his lawsuit against Universal Music Group (UMG) over Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” diss track.

In a recent interview on the “Broke N’ Frontin Podcast,” Jim Jones shared his thoughts on Drake’s latest legal action against UMG, urging fans and critics alike to embrace the move as a groundbreaking moment for the culture.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

Drawing an unexpected comparison to Tracy Morgan’s high-profile lawsuit against Walmart, Jones argued that people should be just as supportive of Drake’s legal fight, given the potential payout. Jones began by addressing the skepticism surrounding Drake’s street cred or reputation taking a hit due to the lawsuit.

“Man, how many n*ggas in the hood you know got lawsuits?” Jones questioned rhetorically. When pressed about the circumstances being different, Jones doubled down on his statement, adding, “He’s in a different realm, n*gga, that’s his hood.”

He quickly pivoted to emphasize the scale of the situation, explaining how the lawsuit was much bigger than rap beef or the culture’s feelings about how they are supposed to be handled. “You think about a bag or you think about a rap beef that’s imaginary to the people,” he said speaking about Drake and Kendrick’s rap beef last year. “These n*ggas are playing on the highest level of f*cking entertainment. A billion-dollar game. Now if he could catch a billion-dollar gain in the midst of a rap beef, are you sh*ttn’ me? Are you kidding me?”

As Jones continued, he spoke with conviction in his explanation of why Drake’s rep shouldn’t be in question, because he’s not necessarily snitching on anyone—or directly suing Kendrick.

“Bro, he’s not snitching on nobody,” he said. “He’s catching a lawsuit…Let’s just get this together. He’s not in a court of law suing Kendrick Lamar, which everybody seems to think this lawsuit is about. He sued UMG, the biggest company that has the biggest bag, n*gga.

He added, “You think I ain’t gonna sue Amazon if I get a chance to? We suing everybody, n*gga. Any one of them companies I get a chance to play at that level to sue for billions, I’m going for it, n*gga. Are you crazy?”

To be specific, Jones was referencing Morgan’s lawsuit filed against the retail giant after a Walmart tractor-trailer crashed into the comedian’s limousine van on the New Jersey Turnpike in 2014. The stakes in Morgan’s lawsuit, which was settled for an undisclosed amount in 2015, were far higher than Drake’s, considering his friend died and he sustained multiple injuries. However, it is believed that the settlement Morgan received was substantial and allowed him to cover his losses.

No matter the case, Jones is apart of a small minority who believe Drake’s lawsuit seeks to fight for the greater good, rather than threaten the integrity of Hip-Hop. Former Slaughterhouse Gang MC Joe Budden described Drake’s lawsuit as a disgrace to Hip-Hop culture and predicting it could spell the end of the Canadian rapper’s career. Wiz Khalifa told Shannon Sharpe he wasn’t surprised by the lawsuit, which he told the former NFL star “sound like a Drake move to me.”

Barry Michael Cooper, A Hip-Hop Storytelling Legend, Taken Too Soon At 66

Barry Michael Cooper, the celebrated screenwriter and investigative journalist known for spotlighting the crack-cocaine epidemic and helping define Hip-Hop culture on screen, died Tuesday (January 21) in Baltimore, Maryland.

Just one day before his passing, Cooper shared a social media post honoring Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday.

He was 66.

Cooper’s gripping storytelling launched the careers of stars like Wesley Snipes, Chris Rock, and Tupac Shakur and he is perhaps best remembered for writing the “Harlem Trilogy” films: New Jack City (1991), Sugar Hill (1994), and Above the Rim (1994).

The trio of films cemented Cooper’s legacy in cinematic history and brought gritty portrayals of urban America to mainstream audiences.

“All of New Jack City, Sugar Hill and Above the Rim comes from me being a part of this neighborhood, this Neo-Harlem Renaissance stuff goin’ down,” Cooper told AllHipHop.com in an interview.

“Growing up, my hero was the anti-hero in Leroy “Nicky” Barnes. I didn’t want to sell drugs; I wanted to dress like him, I wanted to talk like him, I wanted to have his swag, and I wanted to have his power – but I wanted to do it as a writer. I wanted to be a powerful Black man. I like this dude’s get-down, but I’m not trying to sell no drugs; I know that’s short-term. I know it!” Cooper continued.

Before his rise in Hollywood, Cooper worked as an investigative journalist at The Village Voice from 1980 to 1989.

During his tenure, he was the first to uncover and report on the devastating crack-cocaine epidemic of the mid-1980s, a crisis that reshaped urban communities and the nation’s approach to drug enforcement and policy at large.

He also coined the term “New Jack Swing,” a name that defined a fusion of R&B and Hip-Hop music in the late ’80s and early ’90s.

Barry Michael Cooper continued to expand his influence as a producer, notably contributing to Spike Lee’s Netflix series She’s Gotta Have It from 2017 to 2019.

Snoop Dogg & Jamie Foxx: Heated Confrontation Over Daughter’s Love Life

Jamie Foxx called in some heavyweight support in the name of fatherhood when he asked rap icon Snoop Dogg to send a message to his eldest daughter’s then-boyfriend.

The Oscar-winning actor and comedian revealed the unconventional parenting moment in an interview on Capital XTRA while appearing alongside co-star Cameron Diaz to promote their Netflix film, Back in Action.

Foxx’s parenting anecdotes captured both the humor and the seriousness of his fiercely protective instincts as a father.

“When it comes to my daughters and the opposite sex, I could be a little more, you know, in your face,” the “Ray” star admitted during the conversation.

Foxx shares 30-year-old Corrine with his ex, Connie Kline, and 16-year-old Anelise with another former partner, Kristin Grannis.

Jamie Foxx described his approach to watching over his daughters as both hands-on and understanding.

Recounting the incident, Jamie Foxx shared how Snoop Dogg’s presence at his home became a unique opportunity to give Corrine’s then-boyfriend a warning.

“My oldest daughter, who’s married now, but when she was dating another guy, he comes over,” Foxx explained. “I’d already done the background check on the dude, but Snoop happened to be there at my crib.”

Without hesitation, Foxx saw an opportunity and seized it: “I was like, ‘Snoop, there he is, right there. Shake him up!’” he recalled.

True to his smooth yet commanding style, the Hip-Hop legend sauntered over and delivered a memorable line: “‘Hey, what’s up? What’s happening with it? You know, if she hurt, you hurt, homie.’”

Despite the intimidating cameo from Snoop, Jamie Foxx clarified that his parenting isn’t all tough love. He emphasized his efforts to give his daughters room to grow and experience life independently.

“So, I am visual in that perspective, but I also understand they got to be kids,” he said. “You got to let them, you know, live a life. And, you know, that type of thing.”

Foxx’s eldest daughter, Corrine, married her husband, Joe Hooten, last September during an intimate ceremony held at Foxx’s California home.

In a touching Instagram post, Aiko expressed her gratitude to the firefighters.

“Thank you to our first responders,” she wrote. “Those who have spent days away from their families, working tirelessly to protect us. We hope this small gesture of gratitude makes a difference during these long shifts.”

Jhenetics, known for its commitment to holistic health and community support, partnered with the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and mobile massage service Manly Handz to provide stress relief and pain management to frontline workers.

The initiative utilizes Jhenetics’ CBD-infused products, including lotions, balms, and elixirs, to help alleviate muscle pain and reduce anxiety among firefighters.

The wildfires have consumed over 100,000 acres of land and claimed at least 28 lives, per NBC News. Driven by severe drought and powerful winds, the blaze has displaced 180,000 residents, forcing them to evacuate their homes.

Jhené Aiko herself lost her $3.2 million home in the wildfires, making this initiative particularly poignant.

In a statement, Jhenetics emphasized their commitment to supporting the community during this crisis

“As we try to make sense of these tragic events, we have been moved to be of service to our first responders and families affected by the fires,” the statement reads in part. “These challenging times are an opportunity to be there for one another and build a stronger community.”

2Pac Update: Keefe D’s Legal Bid To Avoid Prosecution Fails Miserably

Duane “Keffe D” Davis, the sole individual charged in the 1996 drive-by shooting that claimed the life of Hip-Hop legend Tupac Shakur, failed in his effort to have the murder case dismissed.

A Las Vegas judge ruled on Tuesday (January 21) that claims of immunity made by Davis were unsupported, clearing the way for the controversial case to proceed.

Clark County District Court Judge Carli Kierny rejected Davis’ argument that an immunity deal he reportedly struck in a 2009 police interview barred prosecutors from charging him.

The judge stated there was no verifiable proof such an agreement existed, keeping the first-degree murder charge against Davis intact.

Davis, now 60, remains detained in Las Vegas and has pleaded not guilty. His trial is scheduled for March 17, 2025, though potential appeals could push back the date.

Prosecutors argue they have compelling evidence tying Davis to Shakur’s murder, including admissions he made in his 2019 memoir, “Compton Street Legend.”

In the book, Davis wrote about his role on the night of the shooting, claiming he was in the white Cadillac from which bullets were sprayed toward Shakur and that he provided the .40-caliber handgun used in the attack to his nephew, Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson.

Anderson, a now-deceased Southside Crips gang member, was identified as a key figure in the killing.

The fatal confrontation came shortly after a tense altercation inside a casino between Shakur and Anderson, a moment captured on surveillance footage.

Hours later, at the intersection of East Flamingo Road and Koval Lane, a car carrying Shakur and Death Row Records CEO Marion “Suge” Knight was ambushed. Shakur was hit by four bullets and died six days later in the hospital.

2Pac’s death has been clouded by dead ends, conspiracy theories and the untimely demises of other suspects, including Anderson.

For decades, Davis was a central figure in rumors surrounding the shooting, fueled by his own interviews where he openly discussed his role in the tragic events.

2Pac was central in the feud between Death Row Records and its New York-based counterpart, Bad Boy Records.

He had a known beef with Bad Boy Records executives Sean “Diddy” Combs and the late Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace that was sparked after he was shot at Quad Studios in Manhattan in 1994.

Trump Demands Apology From “Nasty” Bishop Who Called For Mercy For Immigrants & LGBTQ+ Community

President Donald Trump is demanding a public apology from the Episcopal bishop of Washington who called on him to show mercy to immigrants and LGBTQ+ people during the inaugural prayer service Tuesday (January 21).

During the service, the Right Rev. Mariann Budde pleaded with Trump to consider those targeted by the new administration’s policies.

“I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now,” she said. “There are gay, lesbian and transgender children in Democratic, Republican, and independent families, some who fear for their lives.”

Budde also emphasized, “The vast majority of immigrants are not criminals,” asking Trump to have mercy “on those in our communities whose children fear that their parents will be taken away and that you help those who are fleeing war zones and persecution in their own lands to find compassion and welcome here.”

Donald Trump Blasts Bishop Budde In Scathing Rant

Trump later said the sermon was “not too exciting,” adding, “I didn’t think it was a good service, no.”

However, Donald Trumphttps://allhiphop.com/tag/donald-trump/ harshly criticized Budde in a social media post Wednesday morning (January 22), branding the “so-called Bishop” a “Radical Left hard line Trump hater.”

“She brought her church into the World of politics in a very ungracious way,” he wrote. “She was nasty in tone, and not compelling or smart.”

Trump said Budde failed to mention some migrants have killed people after coming to the U.S. before continuing his rant.

“Apart from her inappropriate statements, the service was a very boring and uninspiring one. She is not very good at her job!” he added. “She and her church owe the public an apology!”

Trump’s remarks to the bishop follow his executive orders reversing transgender rights and enforcing stricter immigration policies.

During his inauguration speech, Donald Trump announced, “it will henceforth be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders: male and female.”

Diddy Alleged Gang Rape Victim Breaks Silence On Brutal Assault

A woman who filed a lawsuit accusing Sean “Diddy” Combs of a brutal gang rape is speaking out about the harrowing details of the alleged assault.

Ashley Parham, filed suit against Combs in a California federal court in October last year. She detailed the alleged attack during an interview with Ashleigh Banfield of NewsNation

Parham claims she first encountered Diddy through a man named Shane Pearce, who she met at a bar. Pearce was on a FaceTime phone call with the mogul. Diddy overheard her saying, “I wasn’t impressed by him and wasn’t a fan, and that I thought he killed Tupac.”

Parham claims Diddy threatened “to come after me,” although she didn’t take him seriously at the time.

According to Parnham, she was stunned to eventually meet Diddy at Pearce’s home.

“He basically started threatening me with human trafficking and that they could take me anywhere and sell me,” she explained.

Parham alleged Diddy “got extremely angry,” and “sexually assaulted me vaginally with the remote, extremely violently.”

She goes on to describe a shocking attack. “They took turns raping me, and Sean Combs raped me anally,” Parham states. “Shane Pearce also raped me, but vaginally, and the bodyguard guy he, he raped me as well, while Sean Combs was sitting in a chair, naked, filming it and jerking off to watching me being raped.”

Diddy Allegedly Bragged About Paying For Tupac Shakur’s Murder

After the attack, Parham claimed Diddy bragged about it. He said had “gotten away with more serious crimes,” and boasted that he ” paid to have Tupac killed.”

Parham states Diddy tried to bribe her and even had his mother, Janice Combs, attempt to convince her to accept money to stay silent about the alleged rapes.

Parham tried to make her escape and went at Diddy with a knife, cutting him, but was subdued. She managed to flee after a neighbor came to investigate the noise, which created a distraction for her to get away.

“That’s when I ran towards him and his house,” Parham recalled. “Then someone, I believe it was Sean Combs … started firing a gun at me.”

Parham claims the neighbor called the cops, but the officer who responded “couldn’t have cared less” about her complaints.

“He didn’t offer me help. He didn’t offer me an ambulance,” she claimed. “I told him that Sean Combs had raped me, and he didn’t write, offer me a ride or any type of help. He just left me for dead there.”

Parham said she was “in a state of shock” and went back to the scene of the alleged rape to get her belongings.

“I was alone in the room, and I just ended up falling asleep,” she explained. “And I know that doesn’t make any sense to people, but the Orinda hills are incredibly dark and windy roads with no street lights. The idea of running half naked down to police who weren’t going to help me anyways, wasn’t going to happen because I assumed that they were going to…Sean Combs people were waiting for me if I tried to leave. I just, I just lost faith and humanity, and kind of just gave up and lied in the bed in a catatonic like state until I fell asleep.”

In the morning, Pearce returned her things, and she drove back home.

Diddy Denies Allegations

Combs denied the accusations via a statement provided to News Nation by his attorneys:

“As the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department confirmed, her report was thoroughly investigated and it was determined the claims were ‘unfounded.’ Mr. Combs was nowhere near Orinda, California, on the day she claims she was assaulted.”

The attorneys’ added: “There is no evidence that Mr. Combs was ever in the same room as Ms. Parham. She is completely unbelievable and no sane person who views the evidence will credit her story.”

Sexyy Red Apologizes To MLK Jr.’s Daughter Over Scandalous Picture

Sexyy Red Got Dragged Over And AI-Generated MLK Jr. Image And Bernice King Called for Accountability

Sexyy Red has ignited yet another firestorm, but this time she got thoroughly dragged for it. The St. Louis rappers are down bad now. She came under heavy scrutiny after posting AI-generated images of herself with Martin Luther King Jr. on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Out of respect for the family, we aren’t going to post the picture here.

The photos, shared on Twitter, featured Sexyy Red holding hands with the civil rights icon and attending the 1963 March on Washington. The caption read, “Happy MLK Day!!” but quickly devolved into disrespect.

The posts quickly went viral but not in the way Sexyy Red might have hoped. On January 21, Bernice King, the youngest daughter of Dr. King, issued a scathing critique.

“My father is not here to respond himself because he was assassinated for working for your civil and human rights and to end war and poverty. Please delete,” she wrote, labeling the images “intentionally dishonoring, deplorable and disrespectful.”

Well, then the dragging happened. Some people simply articulated the obvious: this is trash behavior. However, there’s a bit of a happy ending. Sexyy Red deleted the post and apologized.

She said, “You ain’t wrong, never meant to disrespect your family my apologies. Just resposted something I saw that I thought was innocent.”

Bernice King said, “Thank you for your apology, which I sincerely accept. Please know that it was not my intention that you be denigrated. I value you as a human being. I hope you understand my concerns about the image.

“I know that my father has become a bit of a caricature to the world and that his image is often used with no regard to his family, his sacrificial work or to the tragic, unjust way in which he died (a state-sanctioned assassination). Unfortunately, I regularly challenge the disregard. I earnestly wish that people would imagine what it would feel like to see their deceased, murdered father repurposed for party fliers, unjust legislation, etc. All the best to you, young lady.”

She knows what’s up. She included all the things in there. God bless her class and resolve.

In 2023, Sexyy Red supported Donald Trump. In 2024, she voted for Kamala Harris. I just stay with people who are consistent and conscious.

The misuse of AI is back on the menu, too. We are in for a ride.

Chris Brown Sues Warner Bros. For $500M Over “Defamatory” Docuseries

Chris Brown is hitting back. The R&B performer, known for hits like “With You” and “Superhero,” has filed a $500 million lawsuit against Warner Bros. and the creative forces behind the Investigation Discovery docuseries Chris Brown: A History of Violence.

In court documents, Brown accuses the production company Ample Entertainment and an unnamed woman of crafting a narrative designed to defame him, labeling him “a serial rapist and a sexual abuser.”

The lawsuit, brimming with allegations of libel and intentional infliction of emotional distress, centers on claims made within the series, which premiered last October.

Brown argues the creators built the series around a dismissed legal case involving a Jane Doe. According to Brown’s legal team, the lawsuit collapsed in court due to what they called “lies.”

Brown acknowledged his turbulent past, including his 2009 guilty plea for assaulting his then-girlfriend, Rihanna. The lawsuit acknowledges those mistakes, stating the singer has since grown from them and worked to rebuild his reputation.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by BROWN (@chrisbrownofficial)

Brown’s attorneys argue that the new docuseries erases that journey of redemption, inflicting lasting harm on his career and personal life.

Brown’s team claims the series represents an orchestrated attack on his character at a time when he has sought to distance himself from his controversial history.

They allege Warner Bros. and its collaborators were motivated more by profit and sensationalism than by a commitment to truth.

*This case is about protecting the truth,” Chris Brown’s attorney, Levi McCathern, said. “Despite being provided with evidence disproving their claims, the producers of this documentary intentionally promoted false and defamatory information, knowingly disregarding their ethical obligations as journalists. Their actions undermine not only Mr. Brown’s decade-long efforts to rebuild his life but also the credibility of true survivors of violence.”

The lawsuit argues this public smear could have ripple effects on Brown’s career. Since its debut, the docuseries reportedly caused damage to his reputation as an artist. Court filings reveal Brown is seeking a jaw-dropping half-billion dollars in damages.

Yet Brown insists it’s not about the money. To prove his point, he has pledged to donate a portion of the sought-after funds to organizations supporting survivors of abuse.

Trump Orders DEI Employees On Leave, Declares End To Diversity Initiatives

Donald Trump’s administration is following through on his promise to dismantle DEI programs, ordering all federal diversity, equity and inclusion employees to be placed on leave no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday (January 22).

A memorandum sent Tuesday (January 21) by the Office of Personnel Management also orders all public DEI-focused websites be taken down by the same deadline. The memo follows Trump’s executive order aimed at eliminating “radical” DEI programs across federal agencies.

Employees are to be placed on paid administrative leave but will eventually be laid off. The memo claims these programs “divided Americans by race,” wasted taxpayer dollars and caused “shameful discrimination.”

Additionally, the Trump administration requested federal workers report all efforts to disguise DEI programs using coded language since November 5, 2024 or face “adverse consequences.”

The sweeping directive marks a significant shift in federal workforce policies under Trump’s administration.

Trump’s directives reversed the Biden administration’s executive orders to promote diversity in the federal workforce and programs. Biden’s goal was to advance equity “for all, including people of color and others who have been historically underserved, marginalized and adversely affected by persistent poverty and inequality.”

Federal agencies were instructed to review programs to address structural barriers to access. However, Trump labeled these diversity initiatives as “illegal and immoral discrimination.”

During his inauguration speech, Trump vowed to “end the government policy of trying to socially engineer race and gender into every aspect of public and private life. We will forge a society that is colorblind and merit based.”

Diddy’s Son Christian Combs Freaky Club Antics Sparks Outrage

Sean “Diddy” Combs may be languishing in jail awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, but that hasn’t stopped his son Christian from letting his hair down.

Footage surfaced online of the 26-year-old rapper partying up a storm at the club with his girlfriend, Raven Tracy, on Tuesday night (January 21). The couple put on a raunchy display on the dancefloor, with Combs openly groping Tracey in full view of the camera and the clubgoers.

The clip raised eyebrows online, with social media users chiming in about Combs’ antics.

“Daddy in jail and he just out here being freaky,” one person shared, while another stated, “No shame in his game. They don’t care who’s watching, his hands everywhere and she wants everyone to see.”

A third said, “He gives me lil boy vibes like he never got a chance to just be a kid and was thrusted into adulthood.”

Christian’s father, Diddy, has been behind bars since his arrest in September. Prosecutors have painted him as the mastermind of a sex trafficking operation, relying heavily on allegations of coercion and violence.

While not facing criminal charges, Christian Combs was implicated in lawsuits related to Diddy’s legal troubles.

Grace O’Marcaigh filed a lawsuit accusing Christian of sexually assaulting and drugging her on a yacht in December 2022.

Attorney Tyrone Blackburn, who also represents O’Marcaigh, announced plans to file a lawsuit on behalf of an anonymous Jane Doe, accusing Christian of drugging and sexually assaulting her.

Additionally, in his lawsuit, former Bad Boy producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones claimed he witnessed Christian drug and assault a woman.

Bhad Bhabie Admits Past Domestic Violence Following Recent Nose Job

Bhad Bhabie is defending her decision to get a nose job while battling cancer. She also denied her boyfriend, Le Vaughn, caused her gruesome facial injuries, as s he revealed her recent cosmetic surgery.

On Tuesday (January 21), the 21-year-old shared graphic images of her new nose to her Instagram Stories. “So swollen,” she wrote alongside the image, which featured her bruised black eyes.

Bhad Bhabie also pushed back after receiving criticism for getting a nose job.

‘Y’all it doesn’t matter if you liked my nose before,” she wrote. “This is my face. I didn’t like it so I fixed it.”

However, it appears her battered face sparked accusations that Bhad Bhabie’s boyfriend beat her up again, prompting the rapper and model to reveal previous domestic violence at the hands of former partners.

She shared a series of graphic images depicting injuries and scenes of carnage, including blood-soaked floors, in a since-deleted post.

According to Bhad Bhabie, she only shared the photos ” to make Lv feel a little bette” about getting trolled.

“He’s not the only one who has put his hands on me,” she noted. “I have only had 3 men I took seriously and all of them put the hands on me. Maybe I am the problem. My ‘ex’ did this to me September 2022.”

Bhad Bhabie followed up on Instagram Live, claiming LV “is upset because y’all trying to make this about him.” She explained that LV is “sensitive,” over abuse accusations because of their previous domestic violence incidents.

“He’s obviously not proud of that time period of our life,” she explained. “He’s not proud of those things that were posted. So, anytime y’all make jokes or anything it just triggers him.”

Kanye West Teases Risqué Womenswear Line, Warns Fashion Industry: “Be Very Afraid”

Kanye West is causing a stir after announcing an upcoming womenswear line, seemingly inspired by his wife Bianca Censori’s skimpy outfits.

On Tuesday night (January 21), West hopped on Instagram to preview a new design. He posted an image of a sheer black thong bodysuit, reminiscent of one of his wife’s recent risqué barely-there looks.

“Yzy women’s coming next,” Kanye West announced. SCALING INNOVATION.”

West continued issuing warnings to the fashion industry and calling out adidas following his rants last week, urging, “Be very afraid.”

“No corporations leveraging my platform,” he added. “Using me to get to get to us Overcharging our community while ignoring my vision and direction.”

He also claimed those who advised him to rebuild his partnership with adidas “Didn’t care about my freedom or vision.”

“Now my vision is coming to life and I have a John Wick vendetta against every fashion company,” West declared. “As my fellow Gemini Tupac said Die m###########.”

The skimpy thong design sparked a mixed response from fans, with some calling for more designs and others turned off by the revealing piece.

“ye Yeezy, please don’t try to dress us like your wife,” one person shared. “Make some stuff that’s also cute and comfy.”

A huge fan of the design wrote, “we will buy the women clothes even if we’re not women.”

Others compared Kanye West’s womenswear design to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS line, writing, “Yeezy >>> skims.”

Last week, Kanye West declared himself the G.O.A.T. of all G.O.A.T.s after raking in over $2 million in 24 hours on his Yeezy website.

According to West, the website made $2,339,096, in 24 hours on Monday (January 14) following the launch of his new Yeezy slipper.

Jamie Foxx Recalls Post-Stroke Recovery: “I Was Denzel Washington”

Jamie Foxx says the first moments after waking up from a medical emergency were so surreal that he thought he was being pranked.

The Academy Award-winning actor opened up about the life-altering experience during his appearance on The Graham Norton Show.

Foxx, 55, revealed that after suffering a stroke in April 2023 while filming in Atlanta, he re-emerged from a 20-day coma with no memory of the ordeal that placed him there.

“I didn’t remember anything happening, so when I came to 20 days later, I thought I was being pranked,” Foxx told host Graham Norton. “It was beyond crazy.”

Best known for his roles in Ray and Django Unchained, the actor said that humor became a vital part of his recovery process.

“I knew I had to get back and realized the way to do it was by being funny,” he shared. Jamie Foxx even joked that his impersonations of other Hollywood icons kept him going.

“I told so many jokes people thought I was mad, and then I would act as someone else—for three whole days, I was Denzel Washington!” Jamie Foxx said.

Foxx first disclosed the details of his health scare in 2023 during a Netflix special, Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was…, explaining that he suffered a brain bleed as a result of the stroke.

Speaking about the ordeal he reflected on how close he came to losing everything.

“It makes you realize that you need people that care and love you around to get you through it,” he said.

More than a year and a half after the medical crisis, Foxx reassured fans that he’s on the mend and feeling like himself again.

“I was very unwell, but now I am back feeling good,” he said during the interview.

Currently promoting his latest action-comedy film, Back in Action, which pairs him with Cameron Diaz, Foxx appeared upbeat and grateful for what he described as a second chance at life.

The highly anticipated movie marks Diaz’s return to acting after an eight-year hiatus, and Foxx’s trademark energy during his promotional rounds demonstrates he’s ready to jump back into the limelight.

Niecy Nash Ready To Throw Hands Over Kim Kardashian

Niecy Nash-Betts is ready to take her admiration for Kim Kardashian to the streets—literally.

The Emmy-winning actress says no one should dare criticize her All’s Fair co-star, describing Kardashian as genuine and supportive after getting to know her on set.

“You can’t say nothing bad about Kim to me. I will fight you in the street!” Nash-Betts told People in an interview. “Don’t you say nothing about Kimmy Kim to me. Don’t do it.”

Nash-Betts, who stars as a divorce lawyer in All’s Fair, admitted she had minimal knowledge about the Kardashian-Jenner family before working with Kim, but that fresh perspective may have been the perfect setup.

The Scream Queens actress said both Kim Kardashian and her mom, Kris Jenner, welcomed her honesty about being unfamiliar with their reality empire.

“It was so funny, because when we first met, I met [Kim] and her mom, and I said, ‘I have to be honest and tell you, I’ve never seen your show,’” Nash-Betts said. “And her mother said, ‘Oh, thank God. We have a chance! Maybe you’ll like us.’”

The group shared a laugh over the exchange, which broke the ice and set the stage for what Nash-Betts now sees as a wonderful working relationship—and a genuine friendship.

“I love her so much,” Nash-Betts gushed, calling Kim Kardashian a “girls’ girl” who exceeded every expectation.

Kardashian’s foray into scripted television, starting with Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story: Delicate in 2023, mirrors her decision to explore new territory beyond the reality TV realm where she became a cultural phenomenon.

For Nash-Betts, who has collaborated with Murphy on hits like Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, the pairing in All’s Fair felt more like destiny than coincidence.

“She’s lovely,” Nash-Betts said of Kardashian. “And you know what? Once you spend time with her, you just realize she’s really, really honest and so easy to work with.”

Nash-Betts, already a scene-stealing star in Hollywood, keeps busy with acclaimed projects—her defining roles often tied to Murphy’s sleek brand of storytelling.

But All’s Fair has sparked a new mission for the outspoken actress: defending her co-star against critics, should they surface.

“I’ve got nothing for people who don’t like her,” Nash-Betts joked, reemphasizing her loyalty.

Wendy Williams Slams Guardian For Selling Her Cats

Wendy Williams says her cherished feline companions, Chit Chat and My Way, have been taken from her without warning during her ongoing battle with court-ordered guardianship.

Williams, the outspoken former daytime TV host, revealed the painful news in a candid interview with The Breakfast Club, describing the loss as another blow in her continuing fight for independence.

“My cats have been sold,” she stated, visibly upset as she discussed her life under a conservatorship that began three years ago. “I had no idea. Look, I no longer have my cats.”

The cats, which Williams adopted in 2019 during a tumultuous time in her life, held sentimental value.

My Way was named during her split from ex-husband Kevin Hunter, symbolizing her newfound autonomy, while Chit Chat was inspired by Williams’ love for conversation—a signature of her television career.

According to Williams, the decision to remove the pets was made without her input, and it was only after speaking with her court-appointed guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, that she learned of their fate.

“I did not know that until I talked to my guardian person,” she explained. “I wanted my cats with me.”

Now residing in a New York facility, the former “Wendy Williams Show” host described her current living situation as isolating and demoralizing.

Living amongst significantly older residents, Williams said, “It’s not my cup of tea,” and expressed deep frustration with the system.

The media personality cited her diagnosis of primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia as the root of the court’s reasoning for assigning a conservatorship, but she strongly pushed back against claims that she cannot manage her own life.

“I am not cognitively impaired,” Williams insisted. “But I feel like I’m in prison.”

With a tone both defiant and mournful, she described the guardianship system as “broken” and accused it of inflicting “emotional abuse.”

SZA Anxiously Dodges Questions From Keke Palmer & Issa Rae About Kissing Drake

SZA’s response, or lack thereof, to a barrage of questions about Drake’s kissing skills is apparently extremely insightful, according to Keke Palmer and Issa Rae.

The painfully melodramatic incident went down during a new episode of the Hot Ones series with Palmer and Rae in promotion of their new comedy film, One Of Them Days. To make a long story short, the three of them were playing a “truth or dare” style game in which they would either answer a question or eat a wing, with the spice level going up each round.

Palmer kicked off the exchange by attempting to play coy, at first, before directly prodding SZA for her take on smooching with her ex-boo thang Drake. “What should I ask, oh,” Palmer groaned seemingly preemptively. “OK. Um, is Drake like a good kisser?” The messy question barely had seconds to sink in before Rae began exclaiming with shock, instigating the situation. “That’s why I said ‘f### you in advance,” SZA responded.

As the trio continued to banter amongst each other, it was clear that the “30 for 30” hitmaker was set on keeping her lips tight shut when it came to pecking the 6 God. However, Palmer and Rae weren’t having it. “She’s not gonna answer,” Palmer said, to which Rae added, “She did.” Palmer then quipped, “He must have been terrible!” When SZA proceeded to giver Palmer a side-eye glare, she pressed on, “Was he a good kisser?”

As SZA appeared to take a nibble at the drumstick, she popped her head up before she could get a real mouthful to utter, “We were children.” Rae shot back, “That was the sound of lies,” to which SZA reaffirmed, “2009 we were children, real s###.” Even still, her counterparts weren’t having it at all. “I mean it’s a simple good or not good,” Palmer said. Rae added, “Yeah it’s really easy and the fact that you don’t want to say one is very telling.”

Before long, SZA went on the defensive and criticized Palmer and Rae for tag teaming her with their questions. “Y’all trying to double-team me into guilt cuz you know if I’m affected by it,” SZA said. “F### y’all. Why we didn’t know you was married Issa?”

While it may seem like things got a little tense between the trio during the segment, their latest box office earning suggest there’s an abundance of rapport—and wealth,—amongst them. According to a report from Entertainment Tonight, the Sony Pictures film, which was produced by Rae and written by Syreeta Singleton, who was also behind HBO Max’s Rap Sh!t, generated $11.6 million amid its opening weekend and could reach $14 million through the four-day weekend courtesy of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
