2 Chainz’s acting skills have his Hip-Hop peers in shock and awe as the development of his character on 50 Cent’s STARZ series BMF continues to ramp-up.
On Sunday (March 24), the Atlanta native shared an Instagram post, soundtracked by his record “Big Meech Era,” featuring screenshots of text messages he received from several of his close associates with reactions to his BMF character Stack$. In the first exchange he shared, 2 Chainz appeared to be caught off-guard by the apparent personal nature of the confrontation from the unidentified person who sent the texts to him.
“Huh,” 2 Chainz replied to the individual who texted “That’s crazy bro I ain’t think you’ll ever do no s##t like that.”
Spoiler alert, the person responded in part, “Setting up Meech and Tee with the Miami Haitians a low move.” They continued, “Todd wouldn’t approve of that!!! Lol that’s som shady s### tony,” to which 2 Chainz replied, “Hahahaa n###a you crazy.”
In another message, one of 2 Chainz associated appeared to praise his acting chops, writing, “Bru I been so lost in the show bru you killing it.”
2 Chainz replied “Thank ya bru,” as they continued, “Super fye. Naw you can act. It’s Up.”
The comment section of the post blew up with support as well, with artists such as Hit-Boy and Jacquees commenting fire emoji’s in shows of support. Griselda lyricist Benny The Butcher also hopped in the comment section, adding his stamp of approval in a comment he wrote, “Going crazy.”
Prior to his appearance in season three of the series, 2 Chainz participated in a roundtable discussion chronicling the influence of Big Meech and his sprawling nationwide operation in an exclusive STARZ special.

The rhetoric of both Drake and Kendrick Lamar is being put underneath a microscope once again. As the news cycle continues to swirl with rumors of what sparked the alleged rap beef between Future, Metro Boomin, Drake, J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar, Diddy’s mounting sexual assault allegations are in the mix. Now, instead of fans studying the aforementioned rapper’s lyrics in search of subs and sneak-dissing bars, their old tweets are being examined.
Exhibit A: Drake’s 12-year-old tweet from March 2012 was catapulted on the timeline of 4.6 million users earlier this week after someone appeared to uncover an early connection between Drake and Diddy.
“From this n###a Diddy View I think I see his vision too,” Drake wrote in the tweet.
In an eerily similar fashion, a tweet from Lamar also timestamped with March 2012 was also brought into the view of upwards of 2.2 million viewers after a user recycled the post.
“Birdman, Master P, Puff Daddy = Boss,” Lamar tweeted at the time. Accompanied with the tweet was also a Genius lyric from the former Top Dawg Entertainment lyricist’s good kid, m.A.A.d city album track “Sing About Me, I’m Dying Of Thirst,” which read, “Three n###s in one room, first time I was tossed.”
Users even managed to sift through old tweets from late Los Angeles Lakers’ legend Kobe Bryant illustrating his support for Diddy.
“#CANTSTOPWONTSTOP by my man @diddy is an inspiration and testament to HARD WORK. World premiere is tonight on itunes #inspirational,” Kobe tweeted in 2017.
Someone else went as far as alluding to the possibility of a connection between the death of South African rapper Aka and Diddy after uncovering a tweet in which he appeared to attribute the Bad Boy mogul as his source of inspiration behind creating a flavored alcoholic spirit.
“You inspire me so much! I even started my own range of vodka flavors so I could be a boss like you! Come to AFRICA soon @Diddy We love you! And we love,” Aka wrote in a tweet in 2019.
You inspire me so much! I even started my own range of vodka flavors so I could be a boss like you! Come to AFRICA soon @Diddy We love you! ♥️ And we love 😍🍉 pic.twitter.com/Ce1tUR4f8u
Last but not least, City Girl’s Yung Miami’s Diddy tweet from two years ago regained social media attention along with tweets from USHER and DJ Fresh getting pulled into it. What do y’all think? Is this just a coincidence and the internet is reaching, per usual, or could this be apart of a bigger trend yet-to-be-discovered?

A Texas judge ordered Trefuego to pay six figures in damages for an unauthorized sample on Wednesday (March 27). According to Billboard, Judge Mark Pittman awarded $802,997 to Sony Music, which sued the 20-year-old rapper over his TikTok hit, “90mh.”
Sony filed its lawsuit against Trefuego for sampling Japanese composer Toshifumi Hinata’s 1986 song “Reflections” without permission. The company informed Trefuego of his copyright infringement in 2021 but struggled to get him to respond to requests to take down the song, resulting in a court case.
Trefuego, whose real name is Dantreal Daevon Clark-Rainbolt, remained elusive once Sony sued him. Judge Pittman sided with Sony partly due to Trefuego making things difficult throughout the litigation process.
“In this case, Sony pursued a reasonable, non-frivolous claim to vindicate infringement of its copyrighted work,” Judge Pittman wrote. “Some may query the wisdom of pursuing a claim against a relatively small fish like Trefuego, but that fact does not render Sony’s motivation improper or their lawsuit unreasonable … In fact, the only unreasonable behavior in this case was Defendant’s, as his consistent attempts to evade service and eschew meaningful communications stymied case progress and drove up Sony’s costs.”
The judge added, “The Court hopes this serves as a lesson for Defendant and similarly situated litigants: the Court is sympathetic to Defendant’s willfulness arguments and could have appointed mediators and/or legal counsel to assist Defendant in raising this argument or otherwise pursuing an efficient resolution of Sony’s claim.”
Judge Pittman determined Sony was entitled to $700,497 in revenue generated from “90mh.” Trefuego was also on the hook for $102,500 in lost licensing fees owed to Sony.
“90mh” was removed from streaming services such as Spotify, but the song can be found on YouTube. One upload of the track has more than five million views on the platform.
P. Frank Williams is the culture. The famed director and journalist talks to Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur about his new documentary, “Freaknik: The Wildest Party Never Told.”
An Emmy winner and recipient of 8 NAACP awards, P. Frank Williams is the director and executive producer for the newly released Hulu documentary “Freaknik: The Wildest Party Never Told.” Previously, he served as EP and showrunner for the 2022’s “Hip-Hop Homicides” show produced by 50 Cent. In the past, he also contributed as a co-executive producer for the BET documentary series “Copwatch America,” tackling issues of police brutality. Before this, he held positions as a producer at TMZ , a supervising producer for FOX’s “Who Shot Biggie and Tupac” and more. Originating from Oakland, P. Frank’s history goes back to a storied tenure at The Source Magazine, where he conducted interviews with influential figures such as Dr. Dre, Suge Knight, Lauryn Hill, and beyond. He even gave a young journalist named Chuck Creekmur, the co-founder of AllHipHop, his first professional assignment at the iconic magazine.
Now, the newly-minted founder and president of For The Culture By The Culture, P. Frank talks to his old friend Jigsaw about all things Freaknik.
AllHipHop: Talk about the challenges you faced telling this story?
P. Frank Williams: I think that I wanted to make sure that it wasn’t just for a party documentary. I think a lot of people thought it was about the turn up and the streets and the girls and all of that. I wanted to show a much more nuanced, layered story, which hopefully everybody saw that it’s a history lesson of sorts, and I think I wanted to unpack all of that. So I think one of the biggest hurdles is just the stereotypes and the negative stuff about Freaknik, which a lot of people don’t realize. There was a lot more positive as well.
AllHipHop: Now, I noticed one thing, the name spelling changes throughout the doc. Sometimes it has Freaknic with a “C” and sometimes with a “K.” I was just curious, why was that like that?
P. Frank Williams: Well, I mean there’s a lot of different lore about why that happened. Initially it was because as you saw in the film, “freak” was a dance back in the day and they merged it with Nic (as in picnic.” So there was a C later on, probably in the early 90s, mid-90s or so. It started being used with a K.
AllHipHop: Got it. So here’s a two-part question. It seems to me like this documentary is also a love letter to Atlanta. It feels like it’s got a lot of history in there, even not just Hip-Hop. There was also this hodgepodge of other cultures as well that were a part of it. Even the rappers Biggie is in there. Erick Sermon is prominently placed, Luke as well. Luke is from Miami. What are your thoughts on that and how does this sort of all coalesce into this one huge, wild party?
P. Frank Williams: I think that Atlanta was the backdrop for a lot of us in the 90s. It was sort of a coming of age place where a lot of the rappers from that time, we call it the Golden Era from Hip-Hop, came down to Atlanta, whether it be Puff, (Diddy) Lil Kim, BIG or whoever else. Outkast, who were natives, got their start essentially because of the help of Freaknik. I think Freaknik was sort of the foundation where a lot of these people can go get music.
I mean, you’ve been in Hip-Hop hop for a long time. Imagine hundreds of thousands of people in the streets of New York City and you are a promoter or you got a new album, you got a place literally to promote all of that music. So if you were an artist back then, you had to be at Freaknik if you was trying to get on. I mean, Souls of Mischief was telling me stories about how they were out there and they were on a promo tour and that kind of thing. So again, I want to make sure people realize that “Freaknik” is a music documentary. It’s about culture and all that, but at the heart of it, it’s about the music. And without the music, which fueled the whole movement, there is no Freaknik.
AllHipHop: You also talk about when it went south, no pun intended, but it started to go downhill. One young lady in particular really discussed her ordeal, and I know she’s one of many. How did you deal with that as a man, as a human, actually?
P. Frank Williams: Well, I think I want to make sure that we didn’t ignore that. I always try to tell the truth in whatever I do since the beginning of getting into the culture. And so I think sometimes hard discussions are things that you have to have. And as African-American people, young people, we needed to have that discussion that some of the brothers there were inappropriate. Some were assaulting women, some were raping women. And so the only way through is through. And so I didn’t want to ignore that, and it was important for us to make that point and not ignore it and talk about why it ended. So hopefully we did that in a way that was truthful and respectful to the actual content.
AllHipHop: Were there any people that you couldn’t or didn’t get in this documentary that you wanted?
P. Frank Williams: There are some celebrities or whoever I think who had some really great stories that we really wanted to get in, but I think that we did a really good job of the people like Luke who were there. You know what I mean?
AllHipHop: Did you have any legal challenges? Older heads and aunties are like “I don’t want to be in this” and also some who were like, “Yo, I’m letting you know I’m in this.”
P. Frank Williams: Well, first of all, let me say this, just so people know. Legally, if you go outside right now and dance in the street in your underwear, you are not protected by law. Anything that you do in the public space is all bets are off. So there was no legal battles to hurdle or nothing like that. Obviously we don’t want people portrayed in a negative light, people having sex or anything that was really egregious – we wouldn’t do. But no, there were no legal hurdles.
AllHipHop: Did you leave some stuff on the cutting room floor that was like…
P. Frank Williams: There was a bunch of inappropriate content that we didn’t put out there, some stuff that didn’t fit, and we try to be respectful of the culture and the content. Everybody’s asking me for the director’s cut to see some of the raw stuff, but I’m not sure that’s appropriate for a Disney audience or a Hulu audience.
AllHipHop: You have a new production company you’re starting, and I love the name and I love how it’s also spelled stylistically. Tell us a bit about it and why you started at this juncture.
P. Frank Williams: I’ve been in the culture for 25-plus years from our magazine days to now. And I’ve been blessed and fortunate to still be working through the culture, as you are too, and making money and eating and living, feeding my family, doing what I love. But I have noticed that often as a Black male dealing with a situation today that’s egregious, it’s tough to be sort of gentle and to deal with the people who are producing content about people of color. But there’s no people of color involved in producing. It results in a lot of sometimes negative stuff being put out and just battles of what is actually true and real.
And oftentimes, unfortunately, there aren’t enough people of color working on stories about them. And so it is important for me to make sure I give those opportunities to those folks and just make more room for these great stories to be told from young people and people acting like myself who actually lived it. So when I say for the culture, by the culture, you can just say for the culture, it’s something that’s down for the culture. But when you say by the culture means that it’s an inside out, that means it’s coming from the culture itself. So it’s important for me to continue to tell those stories where the sports music, pop culture, things that I specialize in true crime. So yeah, I mean that was the impetus. Myself, Jesse Collins, Ricky, whoever else you may see, will Packer, Keith, Kenya Bears. I think that’s the area that we want to continue to have these independent voices to make sure that we tell these stories.

Cardi B’s team has addressed her recent claim that she was pulled over by the Los Angeles Police Department and strip searched in connection to suspicions she was trafficking fentanyl. On Wednesday (March 27), Cardi’s team released a statement to Billboard refuting the allegations and essentially categorizing them as false.
“This IG Live was taken out of context and there is no truth to this story,” the statement read. “Apologies for any confusion.”
Prior to her team fully debunking the story, Cardi B laid out her plans to sue the LAPD for their alleged conduct during the apparent traffic stop.
“They had me outside for like three hours,” Cardi said during the Instagram Live. “They had me getting butt-naked outside. S### was crazy. It was deada## a movie. I’m about to sue the LAP. I told them like, ‘Yo, I’m Cardi B. Do I look like I gotta sell some s###? Like why would I do that? I would never pull no s### like that.'”
She continued, “They didn’t believe me. It was some white cops and they ain’t know who I was. They was really tough on me and everything. They said somebody gave them a clue. I really feel like it was one of my opps and s###, like they really trying to ruin my life. Like y’all don’t even f###### know. I been going through a lot lately.”

The official statement from Cardi B’s team follows a rebuttal the LAPD issued following the emergence of the allegations on March 25. According to TMZ reports, LAPD officials claimed to have no record of the incident described by Cardi. Sources informed the outlet there would be documentation of the supposed traffic stop.
Tyrese Gibson jumped to Diddy’s defense despite the feds investigating the Hip-Hop mogul for sex trafficking, sexual assault and more. The Fast & Furious star expressed adoration for Diddy in a since-deleted Instagram post.
“What I can’t do and what I won’t do is downplay the laughter, the fun, the energy, the inspiration, the award shows, the studio sessions, the most legendary parties and events I’ve ever attend in my life,” Tyrese wrote. “And I also can’t act as if my high school backyard parties throughout South Central LA wasn’t the craziest parties ever because of the Bad Boy on slew of hit record[s].”
The actor/singer attempted to show support for Diddy’s alleged victims while siding with the Bad Boy Records founder. Tyrese claimed he was the only person “crazy enough” to say what others wanted to say about Diddy.
“I don’t condone nor do I support abuse, bullying, sexual assault or anything that is currently being alleged but what I can’t do is turn the blinds on how much this mean to me and all of us, and what he has done for the community of music and culture,” Tyrese wrote. “Don’t worry I’m the only one crazy enough to jump out there and say what most of you want to say but you don’t have the balls to do so because it’s very normal for people to be going through a rough patch and we all sit back and make a mockery of it but I’m not gonna do that I’m praying for Diddy, his kids, his family, his mother and all of the alleged victims that’s in the middle of trying to simply have their voices to be heard.”
Tyrese concluded his rant by offering a helping hand to Diddy.
“I love this brother he’s been nothing but kind and generous towards me and that’s the way I feel praying and praying for more of a better outcome of all of this is happening,” Tyrese wrote. “God bless you Diddy if you ever need to call me and just need a listening here I’m right here bro.”
Tyrese seemingly regretted the post or the public’s reaction, prompting him to delete it. But he wasn’t the only celebrity who defended Diddy. Slim Thug condemned “his own people” for cheering Diddy’s demise.
Multiple women and producer Lil Rod sued Diddy for sexual assault over the past five months. Homeland Security raided his Los Angeles and Miami homes as part of an ongoing federal investigation on Monday (March 25).
T-Pain has reached a new career milestone and can now add award-winning professional driver to his extensive résumé.
On Sunday (March 24), T-Pain shared a post on Instagram up his experience competing in a drift competition at The LZ World Tour motorsports event, which took place in Bakersfield, California at Kern Raceway. Prior to his victory, the “Buy You A Drank” hitmaker actually revealed he was dealing with a major case of the nerves because he was afraid of not being good. Low and behold, he ended up beating his opponent by literally drifting circles around the seasoned drifter, who lost control of his vehicle midway through the course.
“I WON MY FIRST EVER BATTLE!!!,” T-Pain wrote in part in the caption. “We pulled up to @thelzworldtour and put on for @nappyboyautomotive in the @rtrvehicles #C137 #Mustang I can’t thank the community enough for accepting me and helping me along the way leading up to my first battle that was also my first win. Thank you @john_wig08 and @autoextremesinc for keeping the stang tight and ready. Thank you to @rjdrifts for not absolutely ripping my door tf off like he could’ve [Crying laughing emoji] .”
He concluded, “I’m having a blast with all this man and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. BRRRRRAP!! [Peace sign emoji] [Camera emoji]: @thehunterrollins.”
T-Pain’s win at The LZ World Tour event officially cements the launch of his Nappy Boy Automotive imprint, which serves as a joint partnership with Black-owned automotive lifestyle company HertLife. Last October the Tallahassee native and HertLife delivered their catchy “Baby Got Brap” single to commemorate their joint venture.

Beyoncé continued her Cowboy Carter rollout by sharing the album’s tracklist on Wednesday (March 27). The song titles referenced country legends Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson, which made fans speculate about possible collaborations.
Cowboy Carter featured a track titled “Jolene,” which will presumably be a cover of Parton’s classic single. Earlier this year, Parton endorsed Beyoncé’s country music pivot.
“I’m a big fan of Beyoncé and very excited that she’s done a country album,” Parton wrote. “So congratulations on your Billboard Hot Country number one single. Can’t wait to hear the full album!”
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tracklist included a tribute to Linda Martell, the first Black woman to play the Grand Ole Opry. Martell was also the first Black woman to reach the Top 20 of Billboard’s country charts.
Cowboy Carter will drop on Friday (March 29). Beyoncé explained why she recorded a country album ahead of its release.
“This album has been over five years in the making,” she wrote on Instagram. “It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed…and it was very clear that I wasn’t. But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of Country music and studied our rich musical archive. It feels good to see how music can unite so many people around the world while also amplifying the voices of some of the people who have dedicated so much of their lives educating on our musical history.”
She added, “The criticisms I faced when I first entered this genre forced me to propel past the limitations that were put on me. act ii is a result of challenging myself and taking my time to bend and blend genres together to create this body of work.”
It looks like The Roc is in the building! Now we all know that Damon Dash has repeatedly stated that the iconic record label can never go away because he still here. At the same time, so are a host of artists that were signed to the label, that Jay-Z, Dame Dash, and Biggs Burke built. Memphis Bleek happens to be one of the first artists signed to the label and has reportedly started working on a new EP. The Brooklyn native made the announcement on Twitter and listed the names of the producers he’s working with. (See below!)
First of all, is this something that you guys want? Personally, I am interested in it, because I think that Meek never fully reached his true potential as an artist under Jay-Z. Jay-Z was such a force that Bleek often relied on his big bro to shine. That reduced his shine! In another scenario, I think Bleek could’ve been one of the most legendary artist from BK (I mean he already is, but you know what I mean). At any rate, there’s not much more information to go on this, but it’s happening.
Just blaze 9th Wonder Buckwild Shark Hitmaka
Just to name a few on production on this EP I’m cooking my Gs‼️🙌🏾🏆🙌🏾
By the way, Bleek has his own record label now, and artists that are signed to him, so I think this may be a conduit to breaking those new artists. I could be wrong, but it makes sense. Nobody’s really trying to hear too much froms new artist these days. And I believe he was bringing them out the honest way: based on their talent. So much of music now is just foolishness and trolling and actual criminal behavior. So hopefully this is a win-win.
Universal Music Group (UMG) CEO Sir Lucian Grainge is gearing up for a legal war with the lawyer suing Sean “Diddy” Combs, and it looks like the music industry bigwig is ready to play hardball. Grainge has been dragged into Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’s lawsuit against Diddy over claims he enabled the Bad Boy boss, who was signed to Motown, a unit of UMG.
The lawsuit, which also names other key figures within the music industry, accuses them of being aware or negligently ignorant of Diddy’s alleged actions during listening parties for Diddy’s recent album, The Love Album: Off The Grid.
Lil Rod claims Grainge was present at the Diddy’s events, which included the presence of sex workers, underage girls, and the spiking of drinks with date rape drugs.
Grainge and UMG, having partnered with Diddy on the project, are alleged to have sponsored and participated in these activities, thus being complicit in a situation deemed harmful and unlawful. In response, representatives for UMG and Grainge have issued a firm rebuttal against the claims posited by Lil Rod’s counsel, Tyrone Blackburn.
“I sent him a letter detailing the falsity and legal baselessness of his claims and allegations against our clients, demanding that he dismiss the claims against our clients with prejudice,” Sir Lucian Grainge’s lawyer, Donald Zakarin of Pryor Cashman, explained.
Zakarin criticized Blackburn’s tactics and misrepresentations, defending their clients against the accusations of criminal behavior and outlining the steps they have taken to address the claims through legal avenues.
“He had no basis for and should never have brought any complaint against our clients and he should dismiss the amended complaint forthwith.
“It appears that Mr. Blackburn does not believe that this is a satisfactory solution. It is, however, an entirely appropriate solution given that the claims asserted against our clients are factually (and offensively) false and there is no legal basis for any claim against them,” Zakarin continued.
If the lawsuit is not dropped with prejudice – meaning it can’t be refiled – they plan to use a crucial legal instrument in their arsenal: the request for Rule 11 sanctions against Blackburn for his prosecutorial approach.
Rule 11 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure is a mechanism designed to maintain the integrity of the judicial process by preventing parties from filing frivolous or baseless claims.
It requires attorneys to ensure that any document submitted to the court is well-grounded in fact, legally tenable, and not interposed for any improper purposes, such as harassment.
Failure to adhere to these standards can result in court-imposed sanctions, which may include penalties and the requirement to pay the opposing party’s attorney fees.
“We intend to file a motion to dismiss, even without our clients being served with process and will follow that, in accordance with the requirements of Rule 11, with a motion for sanctions against Mr. Blackburn and his client,” Zakarin snarled.
The request for sanctions signifies Universal Music Group and Grainge’s assertive defense strategy, indicating their belief in the baselessness of the accusations against them.
In addition to suing Diddy on behalf of Lil Rod and Jane Doe, Tyrone Blackburn has waged legal war against T.I. and his wife, Tameka Harris, and Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, in sensational lawsuits.
These lawsuits have attracted media attention due to the nature of the claims lodged against the celebrities.
Ice Cube confirmed a $5 million offer to Iowa women’s basketball star Caitlin Clark to join his BIG3 league on Wednesday (March 27). The Hip-Hop legend said he wanted to keep the offer private throughout the NCAA Tournament but refused to deny TMZ’s report of the proposed deal.
“We intended the offer to remain private while Caitlin Clark plays for the championship,” he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). “But I won’t deny what’s now already out there: BIG3 made a historic offer to Caitlin Clark. Why wouldn’t we? Caitlin is a generational athlete who can achieve tremendous success in the BIG3. “
Ice Cube pitched BIG3 as a way for Clark to avoid playing overseas like many WNBA players do to supplement their income. Clark was offered $5 million to play in just eight regular season games – and potentially two playoff games – in the 3-on-3 basketball league.
“The skeptics laughed when we made Nancy Lieberman the first female coach of a men’s pro team, and she won the championship in her first year,” Ice Cube wrote. “Then Lisa Leslie won it all in year two. With our offer, Caitlin Clark can make history and break down even more barriers for women athletes. America’s women athletes should not be forced to spend their off seasons playing in often dismal and dubious foreign countries just to make ends meet.”
He continued, “And they should have more than just one professional option in the US at a time when American pro sports leagues are being infiltrated by autocratic, anti-women regimes such as Qatar. Our pathbreaking offer to Caitlin Clark demonstrates that BIG3 now offers another choice for athletes.”
A BIG3 deal would conflict with Clark’s WNBA aspirations since the schedules overlap. Clark decided to forgo her final year of college eligibility to enter the 2024 WNBA Draft.
Clark is one of the most highly touted players in women’s college basketball history. She will undoubtedly be the No. 1 pick in this year’s WNBA Draft.
Danity Kane star Aubrey O’Day has weighed in on the unfolding legal drama surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Homeland Security Investigations conducted raids on Diddy’s properties in Los Angeles and Miami on Monday (March 25) as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.
O’Day who previously worked with Diddy on the TV show “Making the Band,” expressed solidarity with the alleged victims and hinted at her own experiences of sexual misconduct by Combs.
“What you sow, you shall reap. I pray this emboldens all of US victims to finally speak on what we have endured,” O’Day wrote.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aj_34t__3ds
O’Day previously alleged that her departure from Danity Kane was due to her refusal to meet Combs’ expectations that extended beyond her talent.
Additionally, O’Day claimed that Combs frequently made comments about her physical appearance and assessed her attractiveness.
The raids mark a significant escalation in the legal issues facing Combs, who has been accused of sexual misconduct in five separate lawsuits since November.
Among his accusers is ex-girlfriend Cassie, full name Casandra Ventura, who has alleged rape and abuse during their relationship spanning from 2005 to 2018.
The dramatic events unfolded with Diddy’s sons, Justin, 30, and Christian ‘King,’ 25, being handcuffed outside their California home.
Meanwhile, Diddy was seen pacing outside Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport shortly after the raid on his Miami property.
The incidents have drawn attention and speculation from fans, industry insiders and critics, including long time adversary 50 Cent.
Kanye West wasn’t just popping off on one of his patent rants when he spoke about his influence on Hip-Hop over the past 20 years—at least, that’s what IDK would say.
In a recent interview with AllHipHop, following his performance at Red Bull Spiral, IDK addressed the ongoing comparison to Kanye West and shed light on how the iconic artist has inspired him throughout his career. During the interview, IDK delved into the intricacies of his recent work and how it intersects with West’s influence. When asked about a particular bar in his performance, reminiscent of West’s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” cadence, IDK acknowledged the true source of inspiration behind it.
“I think it was the irony of me using his flow as I’m talking about sounding like him, ‘Back when Logic used to try to stop the bag back when I was,’ that was from ‘Touch the Sky’,” IDK explained in part. “But basically it’s just like I address it. It’s the first time I think I’ve ever addressed it.”
While acknowledging the comparison, IDK also made it clear that it doesn’t bother him. For the PG County native, the comparison serves as recognition of his talent and the impact of West’s legacy on contemporary hip-hop.
“I’ve always let it be, but it doesn’t bother me because I mean they comparing me to one of the greatest of all time,” he stated confidently. “This is more so like I’m just saying, ‘I hear you, but I’m still me.'”
Reflecting on his journey, IDK expressed gratitude for the influence of artists like West, recognizing the role they played in shaping his artistry.
“And we all get influenced and everybody has something that they, I guess sound like until you don’t,” he said.
As IDK continues to navigate into the upper echelon of the rap game, his acknowledgment of Kanye West’s influence serves as a testament to the enduring impact of the pioneering artist. Especially considering West recently claimed in his new interview with Big Boy that he believes he’s responsible for inventing every style of music for the last two decades. Even though Kid Cudi appears to see things differently.

Cardi B recently recalled an alleged intense encounter with Los Angeles police officers. However, the Los Angeles Police Department has pushed back on that narrative by the “Enough (Miami)” rapper.
During an Instagram Live on Monday (March 25), Cardi B told her followers she would be suing the LAPD. According to the New York City native, officers wrongfully detained her on a Los Angeles street.
“They thought I was trafficking fentanyl and they thought I had a gun in my car, so they stopped me,” Cardi stated. She also added, “They had me outside for like three hours. They had me getting butt-naked outside. S### was crazy.”
https://youtu.be/x8WkeOiHolE
Cardi B ended her story by laughing and then saying, “Alright, no, seriously.”A follow-up to the Invasion of Privacy album creator’s allegations against the LAPD has been provided.
TMZ reports Los Angeles police officials claimed to have no record of the incident described by Cardi. Sources informed the outlet there would be documentation of the supposed traffic stop.
Cardi B has had actual run-ins with the law. In September 2022, she pled guilty to third-degree assault and second-degree reckless endangerment in New York. A judge sentenced her to 15 days of community service.
It appears Stevie J still supports Sean “Diddy” Combs as the Bad Boy Entertainment founder could be facing serious criminal charges. Stevie seemingly shared his thoughts about the feds raiding Diddy’s homes.
On Monday (March 25), news broke that Homeland Security officers entered Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami properties. The ongoing federal investigation could be connected to multiple sexual misconduct allegations leveled against Combs.
Longtime Bad Boy in-house producer Stevie J took to social media to post himself listening to gospel music while wearing a Notorious B.I.G. shirt. The caption for his clip read, “No weapon formed against us shall prosper [folded hands emoji].”
Stevie also tagged Diddy and his sons in the video. Law enforcement officials detained Justin Combs and Christian Combs at their father’s L.A. home while searching the residence.

Diddy also has several lawsuits filed against him. Numerous plaintiffs have accused the 54-year-old music executive/entrepreneur of sexual misconduct, including rape. He denies all allegations.
Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones named Stevie J (born Steven Jordan) in his sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy. In response, Stevie called the suit “bogus” and denied being the man in pornographic images listed in the court filings.
Juvenile gifted his devoted fans brand-new content this week. The New Orleans-bred recording artist dropped an official music video for the title track of his magnum opus.
“On November 3, 1998 Juvenile released his 3rd studio album 400 Degreez. The album went on to be certified 4x platinum having sold over 4 million copies,” reads a statement at the beginning of the video.
The message continues, “This [groundbreaking] album remains Juvenile’s best-selling project of his solo career. This visual is a celebration of the 25th Anniversary of this monumental achievement.”
Fellow New Orleans native Mannie Fresh appears in the “400 Degreez” video. The Big Tymers member produced every song on the 400 Degreez album.
400 Degreez helped elevate Juvenile and the entire Cash Money Records label to national prominence. The LP also hosts the hit record “Ha” and the Hip-Hop classic “Back That Azz Up.”
The Recording Industry Association of America certified Juvenile’s 400 Degreez as 4x-platinum in December 2000. “Back That Azz Up” received a Gold plaque from the RIAA as well.
Juvenile went on to release several other albums, including 1999’s Tha G-Code and 2003’s Juve the Great. He also partnered with Lil Wayne, B.G. and Turk to release music as Cash Money’s Hot Boys.
As the presently unspecified investigation plays out, countless allegations and theories connected to Diddy spread across the internet. For example, one man claimed he witnessed Combs possibly illegally interacting with underage women.
“Tell him to stop bringing all them minors over here late at night. I live right next to him. He do too much,” a person now identified as Khaliq Thomas told onlookers outside Diddy’s L.A. residence.
Thomas also said, “It be like big-ass buses. You see all type of s### hop out, especially at night time around three o’clock in the morning. It gets wild. I’m his neighbor.”
According to TMZ, Khaliq’s mother, Holly, confirmed he lives in Diddy’s neighborhood but does not live right next to the Bad Boy Entertainment founder. She also described her son’s comments about Diddy as trolling and inaccurate.
Diddy faces multiple sexual misconduct lawsuits from alleged victims such as music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones. The 54-year-old Hip-Hop mogul has not been charged with any crimes yet, and he maintains his innocence.
Cardi B and Rihanna linked up less than two weeks after the NYC rapper shared her desire to craft the “perfect” record for a collab with the superstar songstress.
The duo mingled with other celebs at the Hollywood bash hosted by Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee on Tuesday night (March 26). Footage from the evening shows Rhianna enthusiastically singing along to Cardi’s breakout hit “Bodak Yellow,” as Cardi performed to the crowd.
The surprising link-up has fans clamoring for a Rihanna and Cardi B collab. Fans are eagerly awaiting a new album from both artists, and a joint single would be a dream come true for their fan bases, and Cardi B.
Earlier this month, the “Enough” hitmaker revealed that she has a collab with the Bajan-born singer on her wish list. However,
“I love Rihanna’s music, but I don’t do music like that,” Cardi B admitted during an appearance on the Million Dollaz Worth of Gamepodcast. “I sound kinda stupid trying to sing like that, trying [to] sound like that. So if I ever get that perfect record, I can not wait until I feel like, ‘This song… I know she’s going to like it”.
She continued, “Because I don’t want to send her nothing like, ‘Ho, what the f### is this s###? Take this thing out of my face’.”
Cardi concluded by saying a potential song with Rihanna “would be so dope.”
Slim Thug is calling out the Hip-Hop community for wishing for Diddy’s downfall following the bombshell sexual assault lawsuits and recent raids by Homeland Security.
On Tuesday (March 26) Slim Thug took to Instagram, claiming fans have turned on Diddy and are praying for his demise despite the embattled Hip-Hop mogul’s presumed innocence in the eyes of the law.
“I don’t want to see a Black man who came so far, almost to a billion dollars, fall down. That’s our inspiration,” Slim Thug stated. “We losing another billionaire over allegations at this point. Still aint no criminal charges.”
Elsewhere in the Live, Slim Thug accused Diddy’s “own people” of “cheering and laughing,” at his legal woes.
“He thought that we would ride or die for him. He thought that the world of Hip-Hop would stay down,” he added. “This dude is on the list of the worst people in the world right now without no criminal charges.”
Slim Thug admitted that while he doesn’t know the truth behind the allegations against Diddy, “You innocent until you proven guilty.” He also shared his hopes that the allegations are untrue and Diddy is the target of a smear campaign.
Slim Thug Still Doesn’t Believe Cassie’s Claims Against Diddy
Last November, Slim Thug implied Diddy’s ex Cassie Ventura was not a victim and filed her lawsuit in a cash grab. Although he swiftly apologized for his remarks, he reiterated his doubts on Tuesday’s Instagram live.
“The Cassie thing, I still don’t believe,” he declared before adding, “I don’t know the details of it though.”
In a statement earlier this week following the federal raid, Diddy’s lawyer vehemently denied the allegations against his client.
“There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name,” Diddy’s lawyer, Aaron Dyer said.
Rumors Drake and Future are beefing over a woman surfaced after the Atlanta rapper referenced fake friends “pillowtalkin’” on his new album with Metro Boomin’ We Don’t Trust You.
On Tuesday (March 26), the woman believed to be at the center of the feud broke her silence during an Instagram Live session. While she didn’t mention Drake or Future by name, she downplayed her role in the drama.
“Nobody’s beefing over me. I’m not that important, I’m just a regular girl. I’m just a regular person. It ain’t about me.”
The woman, who goes by the name Diana or Princess Diana, coincidentally the name of a track on Future’s new album, refused to clarify the rumors.
“I don’t need to address or clear anything up because those who know, know and that’s all that matters,” she added. “You know? People are going to believe what they want to believe. So, it doesn’t matter what I clear up.”
She also claimed that her boyfriend isn’t bothered by the fuss.
“My n#### doesn’t care. He’s laughing at this,” she stated. “He literally don’t give a f###. He’s not going nowhere. I don’t know who thought he was going somewhere.”
Her comments come after Metro Boomin denied Drake and Future are beefing over a woman.
“Yall n##### stop making stuff up for engagement and enjoy the music,” he wrote on X earlier this week.
Meanwhile, Drake is yet to address Future directly. However, he issued a PSA during his It’s All A Blur – Big As The What? tour stop in Florida Sunday night (March 24).
“A lot of people asking me how I’m feeling,” he said, addressing the elephant in the room. “Ima let you know how I’m feeling. The way I’m feeling, is the same way I want you to walk out of here tonight about your f###### self.”
