Snoop Dogg & Death Row Strikes Deal With Same Company That Rescued De La Soul’s Catalog

Snoop Dogg and Death Row Records has struck a new partnership with Reservoir Media, the same company that was instrumental in getting De La Soul’s first six albums on DSPs.

According to Music Business Worldwide, the agreement covers domestic publishing for Snoop Dogg’s entire catalog, future works and the publishing catalog of Snoop’s Death Row Records. Other singles included are 2Pac’s “Hail Mary,” “I Ain’t Mad At Cha” and “Picture Me Rollin” in addition to albums like Dr. Dre’s The Chronic and Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle.

Reservoir celebrated the announcement with an Instagram post. The caption read: “It’s the D-O-Double G. Welcome the legendary @snoopdogg and the @deathrowrecords catalog to the Reservoir family.”

De La Soul’s Maseo, who was among the commenters, chimed in with a few fire emojis in support of the move.

“Legendary artists only need one name,” Reservoir EVP, Global Creative Director Donna Caseine said. “Snoop is part of that echelon. From music, to brands, television, and film, his acumen represents excellence. For the last three decades he has been a pillar of hip-hop music and popular culture. He helped write Death Row Records into music’s history books. It is an honor to support Snoop’s vision and work with the Death Row family alongside Jaslin Levy, Sabriya Dublin, Sara Ramaker and their entire team.”

Reservoir Media acquired the Tommy Boy catalog in June 2021, which included De La Soul’s first six albums, including 1989’s 3 Feet High & Rising, 1991’s De La Soul is Dead, 1993’s Buhloone Mindstate and 1996’s Stakes Is High. The acquisition put an end to De La’s decades-long war with Tommy Boy founder Tom Silverman and the albums finally arrived on DSPs in March 2023.

It was a bittersweet victory, considering Dave AKA Trugoy the Dove had died unexpectedly just weeks earlier. But in an interview with AllHipHop, Pos and Maseo insisted that doesn’t spell the end for De La Soul.

“The plan is definitely to step out and put my best foot forward to make AOI 3 a reality,” Mase said. “We are definitely looking to complete that mission. Pos has other ideas that he’s trying to bring to fruition. We got the blessing of friends and family—and Dave’s family in particular— for us to keep moving forward. We were actually kind of summoned to it.

“We went to Dave’s memorial at his house, and everybody that we grew up with was like, ‘Y’all know y’all gotta keep going.’ And on so many levels I feel like we have to and, at the same time, we want to. We still got a lot in the tank.”

Nicki Minaj Responds To Rumors She Shaded Beyoncé Amid JAY-Z Subs

Nicki Minaj is responding to accusations she shaded Beyoncé for posting on Instagram to distract from the NYC rapper’s ongoing issues with JAY-Z.

The BeyHive and the Barbz have been going at in on social media in recent days over the two artists’ recent posts. On Monday (September 23), Beyoncé shared a set of sultry images on Instagram, promoting her new whiskey, SirDavis.

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj shared a cryptic post on X (Twitter), sparking claims there was more than meets the eye to Beyoncé’s posts.

“Robot on timing,” Minaj wrote in a since-deleted post.

The seemingly unrelated posts caused a stir online, with Barbz accusing Beyoncé of trying to distract from Nicki Minaj’s recent remarks about JAY-Z. In addition to her complaints about the Super Bowl headliner, she claimed Hov never paid her for her deal with Tidal.

Meanwhile, the BeyHive claimed Nicki Minaj was subbing Beyoncé with the robot tweet. “That lady deleted that tweet because she knows who she can play with,” one fan shared. “Beyoncé is not one of them.”

However, Nicki Minaj emphatically denied the rumors, responding to a TikTok accusing her of calling Beyoncé a robot.

“This is an absolute lie,” she commented.

Minaj also shared a pair of tweets urging “No. For real. Stop.” She added, “Not every day be a dikk. Some days suck one. Goodness. Enough already. #GagCitySanFrancisco who’s ready?!?!!!”

Despite her recent claims against JAY-Z, Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé have enjoyed a good relationship over the years, collaborating on “Flawless (Remix)” and “Feeling Myself” in 2014.

Earlier this year, the singer sent Minaj a sweet handwritten card thanking her for gifting Bey some Pink Friday Nails.

“Onika, I just received your nail collection and I love them. Thank you so much for thinking of me and congratulations on your launch and the tour. Love, Beyoncé,” the card read.

MDC Source Claims Diddy Isn’t Eating Over Fear He’ll Be Poisoned

A former federal inmate with an inside source at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn claims Diddy isn’t eating out of fear he’ll be poisoned. Speaking to News Nation, Wall Street Prison Consultants Founder Larry Levine claims the source told him Diddy has been starving himself, referring to him as “paranoid.”

“When people go into custody, they have anxiety, they’re depressed, a lot of things going through their mind and one of the things they do is they stop eating. Look what happened to Jeff Epstein. I got people every day, ‘Do you think they’re going to Epstein him?’ I don’t know. Imagine if someone paid someone off on the inside to actually poison his food, give him a heart attack and he dies? No one would really think anything of that. That may be one of the reasons he’s not eating.”

Levine goes on to speculate Diddy might possibly be considering a Kosher diet after he was visited by a dietician. However, Diddy’s alleged hunger strike certainly hasn’t been proven. A fan in the comment section, who claims to have a friend who works in the same spot Diddy is being held,  says they have first-hand knowledge that Diddy is doing just fine.

“This is cap,” the person said. “My bro works in the shu unit where he is being held. THIS IS NOT TRUE. Puff cool, and meeting with lawyers everyday and eating good. Stop it.”

Diddy was arrested at a luxury hotel in Manhattan on September 16 and charged with three counts: sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution in New York. If convicted, he faces up to life in prison. His attorneys were working hard to get him out of prison to await trial, but a judge has denied bail multiple times. Diddy’s attorney ultimately decided to stop attempts to get him transferred to Essex County.

“Following the September 18, 2024 court appearance, the court ordered a status update from counsel concerning any request related to the location of [Diddy’s] detention,” attorney Marc Agnifilo wrote. “At this point, there is no request from counsel that the court take any action.”

Diddy was recently placed on suicide watch, a routine procedure for high-profile inmates.

U.K. Rapper Tion Wayne Appears To Viciously Kick & Punch Man In Dubai Fight

Tion Wayne appears to have gotten into another violent altercation in Dubai, this time seemingly fighting a man during a night out on the town.

On Monday night (September 23), clips surfaced online of the British rapper punching and kicking an unidentified man. Someone yells “stop” as Tion Wayne comes into the frame and abruptly punches a man in the face, knocking him to the ground.

A man who appears to be staff then follows Tion Wayne as he storms off, leaving his victim attempting to stand, all while clutching at his nose.

The man manages to get on one knee before Tion Wayne returns, aiming a kick at the man’s face and following up with another blow. Wayne gets in one more punch before being escorted away from the scene.

Tion Wayne Fights Dutchavelli In Dubai

The “Body” hitmaker has been involved in more than one physical altercation in the city. Back in 2022, he got into a fight with fellow U.K. rapper and brother of Stefflon Don, Dutchavelli.

“There was six of you against one. I was the only man that was scrapping with you,” Dutchavelli explained, claiming Tion Wayne jumped him. “You man are not on nothing,” he added.

Additionally, in 2020 Tion Wayne got into it with fellow U.K. rapper Headie One while on a flight back from Dubai.

Meanwhile, earlier on Monday, Dutchavelli claimed he was on the run because his former collaborator turned rival snitched on him.

“It was an incident that happened in Tion Wayne’s block,” he said in a social media video, explaining a shooting that left several people hospitalized. “Three n##### got [shot], and you’re tryna tell me the feds are looking for me fam? This is why I haven’t been about,” he said, adding that people aren’t “sticking to the code.”

Tiny Harris Addresses Massive Win In O.M.G. Dolls Lawsuit: “Did This For The Culture”

Tameka “Tiny” Harris is celebrating her victory in a years-long legal battle after a judge awarded her and husband T.I. nearly $71 million in their lawsuit against MGA Entertainment, the company that makes O.M.G. Dolls.

Tiny took to Instagram Live on Monday (September 22) outside the courthouse to thank their fans for all the support throughout the ups and downs of the legal process.

“We did this for the city, we did this for the culture,” a jubilant Tiny began. “It was a hell of a fight. This fight been started in 2020 and it’s now ‘24; we couldn’t be more happy.”

She also expressed her gratitude to the jury for believing their story. “I honestly wanted to come on here to say we wanted to thank the jurors for just seeing us through this man and just believing in what we said,” she added. “They heard our story and they knew we wasn’t lying.”

The jurors awarded T.I. and Tiny $17.8 million in real damages. However, jurors also awarded a whopping $53.6 million in punitive damages at the conclusion of the three-week trial. Jurors reportedly determined that MGA Entertainment O.M.G. Dolls violated the intellectual property rights of the OMG Girlz pop group T.I. co-owns.

After six hours of deliberation over two days, the jury found the infringement was “willful,” and said the misappropriation was “done with malice, oppression or fraud.”

Meanwhile, Tiny urged fans to check out the OMG Girlz new single, “Motion,” promising more music to come.

“They on that grown and sexy s### man, it’s new and improved,” she revealed. “We coming back with more music and it’s going to be bigger than ever. We just appreciate y’all everybody that’s been down with us.”

Diddy Predicted Arrest For Wild Parties In Throwback Clip

Diddy predicted his downfall during a 1999 interview, claiming he would be arrested over his wild parties.

After Diddy’s arrest last week, social media users dredged up old clips of Diddy and others referencing his now infamous bashes.

The Bad Boy Records boss, who faces life in prison on federal charges including sex trafficking and racketeering, once told Entertainment Tonight that his celeb gatherings would likely land him behind bars.

“They won’t even give me a permit for the parties, man,” Diddy said. “They don’t want me to throw the parties no more. But we ain’t gon’ stop. We gon’ keep having fun, bringing people together from all walks of life.

“You’re gonna hear about my parties, they’re gonna be shutting them down, they gon’ probably be arresting me, doing all types of crazy things just ‘cuz we want to have a good time.”

Diddy also claimed “It’s a lot of people out there that feel intimidated” by his parties but insisted he’s simply uniting “people from all walks of life.”

Diddy Says “You Need Locks On The Doors” To Stop Women Leaving Parties

Another resurfaced interview from a 2002 appearance on “Late Night With Conan O’Brien” features Diddy joking about preventing women from leaving his parties.

He revealed he keeps his party guests supplied with plenty of alcohol and water, arguing you need to have what women want to keep them there.

“If you don’t have what they need, they’re gonna leave,” Combs said. “Gotta keep ‘em there. You need locks on the doors.”

O’Brien responded by saying, “This is sounding kind of dangerous now,” but Diddy replied, “it’s a little kinky,” before continuing to give tips for throwing a good party.

“You need a lot of heat,” Diddy said, adding that he turns the air conditioning off at his parties because heat affects alcohol. “Everybody gets a little bit more comfortable and loose,” he explained.

Dame Dash Claims He Punched Steve Stoute For “Talking Cute” In Front Of JAY-Z

Dame Dash is calling out Steve Stoute for allegedly lying about two previous altercations between them. On Monday (September 23), Dash took to Instagram Live to respond to the music executive’s recent remarks.

Dame Dash called Stoute a “b#### ass n#### who makes up the stupidest stories,” before denying his account of their two previous confrontations.

According to Dash, he once ran into Stoute while with two women, one of whom began hitting Stoute with a bag. Dash claims he was about to “knock his ass out,” when the other woman he was with jumped between them. He claims Stoute threw the woman to the ground and then “tried to run home.”

“You’re so embarrassed about the truth that you gotta lie,” Dash said.

He then recalled another violent incident with Stoute at his office involving JAY-Z. Dash was there with his son, brother and cousin. “He thought ‘cuz JAY-Z was in the room that he could get cute,” Dash said. “He started talking cute in front of my son.”

Dash claimed he warned Stoute to stop, but he refused to listen. “I just gave him a nice left hook, smack,” he stated. “I didn’t want to hurt him, I just thought that he was being threatening around my child.”

He added, “Now y’all should understand why certain people hate me. Because they can’t get over getting smacked. And they conspire to actually stop me from moving forward. They’re all weirdos.”

Eve made the revelation during her press tour for her new memoir Who’s That Girl?, explaining that she had to mentally prepare for filming with Minaj on Barbershop: The Next Cut in 2016

Nicki Minaj Shows Love to Eve

Nicki Minaj seemingly caught wind of the interview and took to social media to give Eve her flowers in a glowing tribute post. She praised her for being a trendsetter and for candidly sharing her vulnerabilities.

“Dear Eve, The various things you’ve shared recently, are groundbreaking (in my opinion) for so many reasons,” she began. “First, thank you. The level of grace; the level of emotional & spiritual maturity it takes to be this vulnerable & transparent is a sign of TRUE peace, happiness, fulfillment, & mastery of self. Self reflection @ its height. I always say that I think accountability is the sexiest trait a person can have. I was one of the kids in NY watching Ruff Ryderz on TV.”

Minaj recalled, “You took the game by storm, that there were some ppl who couldn’t hide their insecurities. Even tho it’s swept under the rug now, I remember that you handled it with grace but ALSO a big sprinkle of unapologetic TALENT & charisma. You soared & soared. Classic music w/the illest team, to the BIG SCREEN.”

The NYC hitmaker also reflected on her own nerves before shooting the movie and admitted she believed Eve disliked after their first day on set. She also thanked Eve for “not do to me what was done to you.”

“You looked like a pro & I admired that so much,” she explained. “Women feel so much pressure to compete & it’s a shame b/c we usually have so much in common & could rlly benefit from one another just as human beings.”

Minaj added, “I KNEW that YOU could tell deep down inside that I really liked YOU. So you went easy on me. lol Loved the way the movie turned out.”

Eve responded, thanking Nicki Minaj for the kind words, insisting “the feeling is mutual.”

“Thank you so much for this. I really appreciate it,” she wrote. “I have nothing but respect and am so proud to have seen you grow from strength to strength over the years as an artist, mom and always stayed true to yourself, lord knows it’s not easy for us ya’ll.”

Meek Mill Fires Back At Diddy Rumors, Plans Investigation: “Something Not Right”

Meek Mill is attempting to distance himself from the scandals surrounding Diddy and intends to launch an investigation into the case.

Diddy shared a close relationship with the Philly rapper in recent years, and Meek has faced scrutiny amid the ongoing lawsuits and subsequent indictment. Now that Diddy is facing life behind bars on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, Meek Mill wants to clear his name once and for all.

On Monday evening (September 23) Meek took to social media to distance himself from Diddy, repeating claims that he’s the victim of a smear campaign.

“I wanna hire an investigative team 100k cash to find out every specific detail involving meek mill name to “Diddy” Case,” he tweeted. “I also want them to look at who is powering the media involving “meek” anything to do with buddy! “Something not right.”

Meek Mill continued, explaining the need for an investigation, adding, “The streets know wassup with me thats not the case….We talking about business side ,somebody powering these bad campaigns with “meeek mill” again I got 100k for a thorough investigation of who’s powering and how exactly my name connect to this…”

X/Meek Mill

In his lawsuit against Diddy, producer Lil Rod referenced a “Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj” as being involved in the allegations. While Meek has consistently denied the allegations, the rumors persist.

Despite the gossip, Meek Mill continues to deliver a steady stream of music to his fans. After releasing “CYBER TRUST” last week, Meek dropped another new song titled “Robbie Son.”

Trae Tha Truth Shares His Prediction On How J. Cole’s Upcoming Album Will Impact Hip-Hop

Trae Tha Truth has shared his bold prediction as to how he expects Hip-Hop fans will receive J. Cole’s highly-anticipated album upon its arrival.

In a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, the Houston rapper shared his thoughts on the potential impact of J. Cole’s upcoming album The Fall Off. Trae’s comments follow months of scrutiny J. Cole has received after he apologized to Kendrick Lamar for dissing him on his Might Delete Later song “7 Minute Drill” which has since been deleted from streaming platforms — holding true to the title of the project. During the conversation, Trae hinted that fans and critics alike are in for a surprise when the project drops.

“Now what I will say is we ain’t going to go in depth, but just don’t get it f###ed up,” Trae Tha Truth said. “His album coming and when the album comes, it is probably going to shock a lot of people.”

Trae continued, noting that many people tend to create narratives about artists and or their perceived rivals without knowing the full story.

“A lot of people form opinions on things and they don’t fully know situations” he said.

During an interview with AllHipHop during the BET Awards earlier this summer, Trae Tha Truth also spoke about J. Cole’s decision to issue an apology to Kendrick, remarking on the amount of personal growth it takes to publicly make a statement of that nature on a major stage.

“One thing, man, I know he probably wouldn’t want me to say, but I’m going to clarify, I watch blogs and I watch headlines make it as if he [J. Cole] was just trying to get away or duck any type of situation,” Trae said in part. “And that wasn’t the case. What people have to realize is that’s just not the type of energy bro got. You know what I’m saying? He focused on him, he focused on his kids and just always stayed in his lane.

“So everybody wanted to see him rumble and not knowing a lot of us came up together. We partnas, you know I’m saying? So for me, being a real brother to him, you got to respect if somebody like, ‘Man, you know what, bro? I know I’m dope. I’m not questioning myself. I just feel like that’s just not the energy that I’m on.’”

Yo Gotti Draws Death Threats On Social Media Following Day One Of Young Dolph Murder Trial

Yo Gotti is drawing a wave of violent backlash, including death threats, following day one of Young Dolph’s murder trial.

On Monday (September 23), Cornelius Smith, one of the three men charged with Young Dolph’s 2021 murder, confessed to the shooting during co-defendant Justin Johnson’s trial. In addition to Smith testifying against Johnson, the lone man on trial in the case, he identified himself and Johnson as the two gunmen seen in the surveillance footage of Young Dolph’s murder.

Smith said they shot Young Dolph to collect a $100,000 hit put out by Yo Gotti’s late brother, Big Jook. Johnson and Smith’s co-defendant Hernandez Govan informed them about the price on Young Dolph’s head. Big Jook allegedly told the shooters it was “too hot” to give them the $100,000 reward. Smith revealed he only received $800 for the high-profile murder.

In the hours following clips from the trial generating news headlines and trending on social media, Yo Gotti has been targeted by a number of faceless trolls and angry users issuing threats to him in the comments section of his posts on Instagram. In the comments of a video he shared of his CMG signee Moneybagg Yo thumbing through stacks of cash, multiple users have shared menacing remarks either directly threatening Gotti, or predicting his demise.

“Gotti you gonna die just watch !!!!!!” a user with no profile picture and a fake username wrote.

In another comment, someone suggested Yo Gotti was not only being Young Dolph’s death but also the fatal shooting of his brother Big Jook earlier this year.

“u killed yo own brother to save yourself,” the user wrote in the comment, while another said, “Everything done in the dark shall come to light.”

Someone else added, “Your time is coming.”

The threats seemed never-ending as users continued to hurl threats at Yo Gotti in comments which read, “Betta watch ya back for the rest of the year,” and “You next Gotti get your affairs in order.”

Big Jook was fatally shot in Memphis in January 2023. Big Jook, whose real name was Derrick Mims, played a pivotal role in Yo Gotti’s rise to fame, often seen as a close confidant and supporter behind the scenes.

PnB Rock Shooter’s Dad Gets No Mercy: Sentenced To 3 Decades In Prison

A Los Angeles County judge sentenced Freddie Lee Trone to 31 years to life in prison for PnB Rock’s murder on Monday (September 23). Trone was convicted of murder, conspiracy to commit robbery and second-degree murder in August.

Trone is the father of the teen accused of fatally shooting PnB Rock in 2022. Prosecutors said the teen acted on his father’s orders.

PnB Rock’s mother Deannea Allen addressed Trone at the sentencing. According to Rolling Stone, Trone would not look at Allen when she shared her victim impact statement.

“I hope that you can feel my pain as a parent,” she told Trone. “I’ve watched your son’s life unfold. He has had a horrible life. I shouldn’t feel sorry for this young man, but I do. He has two parents, but he was in foster care. He had a rough go of it. And I shouldn’t feel bad for him, but I do, just as a parent. I just want you to put yourself in my shoes and our family’s shoes.”

Trone’s co-defendant Tremont Jones was sentenced to 12 years in prison. Jones was found guilty of conspiracy and robbery. Prosecutors said he tipped off Trone to PnB Rock’s whereabouts.

PnB Rock, whose real name was Rakim Allen, was shot multiple times inside Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles. The late rapper’s fiancée Stephanie Sibounheuang witnessed his murder.

Sibounheuang testified in the trial against Trone and Jones. She said PnB Rock pushed her out of the way to save her life.

Trone’s son remains in custody. The 19-year-old defendant was 17 years old at the time of the shooting and charged as a minor. A judge previously deemed the teen to be not competent to stand trial. He is reportedly undergoing treatment to see if he can be found competent for a trial.

T.I. & Tiny Awarded Massive Settlement In O.M.G. Dolls Lawsuit Victory

A California federal jury awarded Clifford “T.I.” Harris and Tameka “Tiny” Harris nearly $71 million in the couple’s lawsuit against MGA Entertainment, the company that makes O.M.G. Dolls. According to Law360, the jury determined seven of the company’s O.M.G. Dolls infringed the trade dress and misappropriated the name, likeness or identity of the OMG Girlz pop group T.I. co-owns.

It’s a massive victory for the couple considering they initially lost the jury trial in May 2023. The jury came to its conclusion following six hours of deliberation over two days and found the infringement was “willful.” They also agreed with the Harrises that the misappropriation was “done with malice, oppression or fraud.” The first sum was $17.8 million but $53 million awarded in punitive damages, the amount exploded.

At one point during the latest trial, which began on September 3, Tip told the jury “anyone with eyes” can see the obvious similarities between the dolls and the group. This time, the jury agreed.

Throughout each trial, MGA argued that its designers were oblivious to the OMG Girlz and never would have copied from the group. The OMG Girlz never released an album but racked up more than 50 million YouTube views and appeared on the Harris’ reality shows from roughly 2010-2015. Meanwhile, the OMG Dolls were released in 2019 and became an instant success, with millions in sales—but it didn’t take long for the Harrises to act.

MGA received a cease-and-desist letter from the Harrises in December 2020. In turn, MGA filed its own lawsuit asking the court to rule that the doll line didn’t copy the OMG Girlz’s name, image or trade dress. The Harrises countersued MGA CEO Isaac Larian, alleging infringement of trade dress and misappropriation of name or likeness, among other claims.

T.I. nor Tiny have commented publicly on their massive victory. AllHipHop reached out for a statement but didn’t hear back as of publication time.

Cam’ron & Ma$e Troll Cowboys Over Owner Jerry Jones’ Remarks On Jamie Foxx’s Instagram Live

Former Dallas Cowboys franchise player Michael Irvin has reacted to team owner Jerry Jones’ bizarre comments during Jamie Foxx’s recent livestream on It Is What It Is with Cam’ron and Ma$e.

In case you missed it, Jones’ loose lips were was caught up blabbering on about a player’s “eight-and-a-half inch d##k” during an Instagram Live Foxx shared while spending time with the NFL owner. Though Foxx abruptly ended the live mere moments after Jones made the comment, a clip of the stream has since made it to multiple social media platforms and gone viral. As a result, Cam’ron and Ma$e sat down with former NFL player and Cowboys legend Michael Irvin to address the eyebrow-raising comments made by Jones.

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

Though it’s clear Jones appeared to have made the remarks about the size of his players’ genitals unabashedly, causing shockwaves across social media, Irvin seemed on the fence about the situation. However, Irvin’s apprehensiveness didn’t stop Cam’ron from bringing it up and sparking a lively and humorous exchange on the show. In fact, the Dipset rapper took things further and opted to troll Irvin in his initial address of the situation, posing a wild rhetorical question to the former star wide receiver.

“Super duper pause, super duper pause,” Cam’ron started off in regards to Jones’ comments. “Do y’all got to get your s##t measured before y’all join the Cowboys? What the f##k, what part of the game is that,” he said.

Ma$e interjected, adding, “Jerry running the ‘Django’ is,” referencing Foxx’s staring role in the film of the same name chronicling a slave’s uprising against a plantation owner.

Michael Irvin, visibly taken aback, was quick to question the legitimacy of the comments.

“Crazy thing I got to ask y’all is do we know this to true, and I did see that,” Michael Irvin said in part. “Do you know that to be true? That’s AI. It must be AI generating.”

Irvin continued, further suggesting that the viral clip could be a product of artificial intelligence rather than an actual statement from Jones, based on the climate of misinformation being spread on social media.

“You don’t even know what’s real nowadays,” he said.

Cam’ron continued to press the issue, teasing that Irvin must be inebriated based on his response to the scandal.

“Mike, you off the 151 [Rum] this morning,” Killa Cam said while laughing. “You lit my n###a. Don Julio Irving.”

As the trio continued the discussion, the convo shifted to Cam’ron and Ma$e questioning Irving whether or not he had ever been part of a locker room discussion like the one Jones was accused of sparking. Irvin, however, quickly shut down any insinuation that he’d ever engaged in conversations about another man’s size and dragged disgraced Bad Boy music mogul Diddy in the process.

“I have never, ever had any conversation about another man’s size in no manner,” Irving said. “In no way, and I don’t even know if we should be touching it with all this Diddy time around.”

The exchange remained lighthearted as Irvin did his best to sidestep the awkwardness of the topic, ultimately suggesting they move on from the subject entirely.

“Leave it alone,” he said. “Leave it alone, baby.”

Jerry Jones has long been a polarizing figure, with a history of making controversial remarks and being embroiled in scandals. In recent years, he has been criticized for his handling of player protests during the national anthem and has been linked to lawsuits involving sexual harassment. When an old photo of Jerry Jones surfaced, showing him among a crowd of white students blocking Black classmates from entering an Arkansas high school during the civil rights era, the response from Black celebrities was mixed. While many were critical of Jones’ presence in such a significant historical moment, others came to his defense. Prominent figures like Stephen A. Smith and Jay-Z publicly supported Jones, emphasizing his track record of providing opportunities to Black athletes and fostering diversity within the Dallas Cowboys organization. Stephen A. Smith, in particular, argued that holding Jones accountable for an incident from his teenage years without considering his actions since was unfair.

EXCLUSIVE: Diddy’s Lawyer Drops Bid To Get Him Out Of Roach-Infested “Tragedy” Of A Jail

Sean “Diddy” Combs will remain in the infamous Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as he awaits trial for sex trafficking and racketeering. According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Diddy’s attorney ditched efforts to get him transferred from the MDC jail to Essex County on Monday (September 23).

“Following the September 18, 2024 court appearance, the court ordered a status update from counsel concerning any request related to the location of Mr. Combs’ detention,” his lawyer Marc Agnifilo wrote. “At this point, there is no request from counsel that the court take any action.”

Diddy was placed in a jail described as “hell on earth” and an “ongoing tragedy.” His attorney suggested a move to Essex County at his bail hearing.

Last week, Diddy was placed on suicide watch at the MDC jail. His lawyer said the disgraced mogul was not suicidal, calling it a routine procedure for high-profile inmates.

Authorities arrested Diddy for sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution on September 16. He pleaded not guilty to the charges. Two judges denied him bail.

“For decades, Sean Combs … abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct,” Diddy’s indictment read. “To do so, Combs relied on the employees, resources and influence of the multi-faceted business empire that he led and controlled—creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.”

Diddy was indicted after facing multiple lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault and other crimes. His ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura was the first victim to sue him in November 2023.

The Bad Boy Records founder faces up to life in prison if convicted. Diddy’s sex trafficking charge carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years behind bars.

Young Dolph Gunman Admits To Murder In Testimony Against Alleged Accomplice

Cornelius Smith, one of the three men charged with Young Dolph’s 2021 murder, confessed to the shooting at his co-defendant Justin Johnson’s trial on Monday (September 23). Smith testified against Johnson, the lone man on trial in the case.

Smith identified himself and Johnson as the two gunmen seen in surveillance footage of the murder. Smith said they shot Young Dolph to collect a $100,000 hit put out by Yo Gotti’s late brother Big Jook. Johnson and Smith’s co-defendant Hernandez Govan informed them about the price on Young Dolph’s head.

“We knew they had a hit on Dolph’s head or whatever,” Smith said. “Big Jook had a hit on Dolph’s head or whatnot. [Govan] had told me about it.”

Smith used to buy drugs from Govan. Smith knew Johnson for “a few months” before they allegedly became murder accomplices.

According to Smith, Young Dolph’s murder was in the works for weeks. Johnson and Smith agreed to each give Govan $10,000. The shooters would take home $40,000 apiece.

“We had a big talk about it,” Smith said.

Johnson and Smith knew Young Dolph was in Memphis for a turkey drive. They recognized Dolph’s car and tailed him on November 17, 2021.

Young Dolph and his brother stopped at a bakery. Johnson and Smith pulled up in the same parking lot. Smith said he was the first man out of the car and quickly started shooting.

“I wasn’t feeling nothing at the time,” Smith said. “I was just trying to get some money … I can’t tell you how many times I shot, aiming for Dolph. I shot through the glass … I saw him standing by the window. I just got out [of the car] and started shooting.”

Johnson, who drove the vehicle, hopped out and joined in the gunfire. He and Smith fled the scene as Young Dolph’s brother fire shots at them.

Smith recalled Johnson FaceTiming Big Jook to let the CMG executive know Young Dolph was dead. Govan told the gunmen to ditch their getaway vehicle. Govan is expected to testify in Johnson’s trial.

Big Jook allegedly told the shooters it was “too hot” to give them the $100,000 reward. Smith revealed he only received $800 for the high-profile murder.

Ice Cube Addresses Diddy’s Freak-Offs: “You Ain’t Gotta Worry About Us On Them Tapes”

As Diddy’s downfall continues to captivate the entertainment business, Ice Cube wanted to make one thing perfectly clear: he’s never been to a Diddy party. During a recent concert, the gangsta rap pioneer was performing alongside fellow West Coast legend W.C. when he addressed the Bad Boy Records founder’s plight and assured his audience Diddy’s “freak-offs” were never on his itinerary.

“Almost 40 years of rocking the mic, and I’mma tell you right now; me and WC ain’t never been to a Diddy party m###########,” Cube told the Yaamava’ Theater in Highland, California on Sunday (September 22), to which someone in the crowd shouted, “Thank God!” Cube added, “You ain’t gotta worry about us on them muthafuckin tapes.”

Diddy was indicted on September 12 on three charges: racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking of children by force, fraud or coercion and transporting for prostitution. He pleaded not guilty.

The 14-page indictment reads in part, “For decades, Sean Combs…abused, threatened & coerced women & others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation & conceal his conduct. To do so, Combs relied on the employees, resources & the influence of his multi-faceted business empire. During raids of his residences in Miami and Los Angeles, authorities seized firearms and ammunition, including three AR-15s with defaced serial numbers, as well as a drum magazine.”

The indictment also mentions physical abuse several times, saying Diddy “engaged in a persistent and pervasive pattern of abuse toward women and other individuals. This abuse was, at times, verbal, emotional, physical and sexual.”

Diddy was taken into custody at a posh Manhattan hotel on September 16.  As Diddy’s empire crumbles, he remains at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after a judge denied bail. Meanwhile, photos of celebrities who partook in Diddy’s parties are beginning to surface. Ex Jennifer Lopez, Leonardo DiCaprio and actress Sarah Jessica Parker are just a few of the famous faces seen in the photos.

But one thing is certain—Ice Cube won’t be in any of them. Check out the clip above.

Murder Case Against Drake’s “Shooter” Collapses

Canadian prosecutors refused to proceed with a murder trial against Top 5, a Toronto rapper with alleged ties to Drake. The case fell apart once a judge blocked the prosecution from using key evidence from Top 5’s social media accounts.

“It became clear crucial evidence has been excluded,” prosecutor Sue Adams said, per the Toronto Star.

Top 5, whose real name is Hassan Ali, was facing trial for the 2021 murder of accounting student Hashim Hashi. Top 5 walked free from court on Monday (September 23).

“I feel like Shohei Ohtani!” he told reporters. “I feel like a baseball player, a superstar.”

Last week, Judge Andras Schreck determined social media-related evidence in the case was too prejudicial. The judge said the evidence “portrays Mr. Ali as a violent gang member with little regard for human life and who revels in the senseless killing of others. The risk that a jury will misuse this evidence and convict Mr. Ali because of his disposition is significant.”

Top 5’s social media posts showed him threatening and celebrating the deaths of gang members in the area where Hashi was killed. Prosecutors claimed Hashi was an innocent bystander shot in a feud between Top 5’s Go Getem Gang and Falstaff Marke Gang.

Hashi was shot and killed on the Falstaff Marke Gang’s turf. Prosecutors accused Top 5 and unidentified suspects of looking for someone to kill in the area. Top 5 was allegedly in the backseat of a car with the unknown shooter and driver.

Top 5 denied any gang ties. He insisted GGG was his record label, not a gang.

“I think the evidence against Hassan was entirely circumstantial,” his attorney Gary Grill said. “The case against him was not strong at all.”

Top 5 was previously accused of being Drake’s “shooter.” A defense attorney implicated Top 5 and Drake in the XXXTentacion murder case.

Three men with no connections to Top 5 and Drake were sentenced to life in prison for XXXTentacion’s murder. A fourth defendant received a reduced sentence thanks to a plea deal.
