Kid Capri Reveals “Secret” Cancer Battle: “Been Dealing With It All Year”

Kid Capri is kicking off 2024 with some good news. On Saturday (December 30), the legendary Hip-Hop artist shared a photo of himself at the doctor’s office and revealed he’s been fighting cancer for the last year. But, as he wrote in the caption, the battle is over—at least for now. In the process, Capri explained he’d endured two surgeries but purposefully didn’t disclose his health scare as to not take focus off the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop.

“God is great!!” he wrote. “3 days ago, I found out that I’m cancer free! Been dealing with it all year while I was doing everything I was doing for hip hop 50! I had 2 surgeries and never said anything publicly about what I was going through, I’m not an attention w####, so I didn’t want to say anything, so that it didn’t look like i wanted pity, but now that it’s over, I figure I let my fans and friends know, I’m very happy, this year I did a lot, but come 2024, I’m getting even crazier than I did in 2023!! Thank you God!”

Although Kid Capri was in a fight for his life, fans couldn’t tell. In November, Capri joined dozens of his fellow Hip-Hop legends for Rock The Bells’ inaugural Hip-Hop Cruise. In August, he, LL COOL J, Queen Latifah, De La Soul and several other pillars of the culture participated in the second annual Rock The Bells Festival. He was also be on the road, performing solo shows and producing music for other artists. The year prior, he released his first solo album in nearly 30 years, The Love.

Speaking to AllHipHop in April, Kid Capri explained how Lil Pump’s Eminem diss fueled the creation of the album. In December 2020, the “Gucci Gang” rapper randomly targeted Slim Shady in one of his Instagram videos, saying, “Hey f### Eminem, you is lame as hell. Ain’t nobody listening to your old a##. You lame as f###, b####. I woke up on some bulls###. I’m back on my f### s###.”

“That was just one of the things that did inspire,” Capri said at the time. “I got tired of seeing the younger dudes thinking that the older people ain’t capable. Like we ain’t been here building this business from the ground up from day one. Sometimes, it is the truth. A lot of older people, they get out of touch. They don’t want the younger people to come in and do their thing, and it be just back and forth exchange.

“But when I watch Little Pump disrespect a dude that became the Elvis of Hip-Hop, this dude that sold millions and millions of records, created opportunities for so many people and is one of the greatest MCs on the planet, for him to just disrespect him like that, we losing our respect level.”

AllHipHop wishes Kid Capri nothing but good health in the future.

The Game Brushes Off Sexual Assault Accuser’s Second Lawsuit Victory

The Game is blowing off reports his sexual assault accuser, Priscilla Rainey, has won another lawsuit against him. On Saturday (December 30), the “Hate It or Love It” rapper responded to an Instagram post about the case and wrote simply, “Aye so what y’all doing for New Years??” The comment is akin to how he’s handle the entire case.

In recent court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Rainey accused The Game of creating shell companies in an attempt to dodge paying the original $7 million judgment. Rainey and The Game’s longtime manager, Wack 100, testified during a December 13 hearing, but The Game didn’t show up.

According to the complaint, Rainey claims The Game stepped down as manager of JTT Holdings and transferred the company to Wack 100 in an effort to shield his earnings. Wack denied any wrongdoing during the trial, stating a home was transferred to him as payment for a debt owed to him by The Game.

The Game’s initial failure to appear is what cost him the $7 million. Rainey, who was a former contestant on the VH1 show She Got Game, sued The Game in August 2015, claiming he sexually assaulted her while filming the show. The Game has repeatedly not shown up for court, forcing the judge to award Rainey millions. But The Game remains defiant, insistent she’ll never receive a single penny from him. Although Rainey admitted she’s received $500,000 of the $7 million.

“People out here dying from the rona n blogs out here creating false narratives for this Waffle House roach who doing anything her thirsty a## can to try n take money from me,” he wrote on Instagram in 2020. I’m enjoying retirement !! Y’all been saying she got 7 million for 7 years & yet here I am, laid up tipsy off my 5th quarantine watching Tiger King lol.”

In 2016, The Game also levied his own allegations against Rainey, saying at the time, “She has a history of theft, fraud, prostitution arrests & a lot of other ‘Tranny Panty’ activity in her past that makes this false claim irrelevant. Don’t be fooled by these accusations or the dollar amount in the headlines cause I put that on my favorite aunties poodle this broad ain’t gettin s###!

“Every girl on that show will tell u I never touched this chick or ever desired to be anywhere near her. She got kicked off the show & as a result she filed this lame lawsuit which was probably her intentions before the show was ever even started. She was begging for my attention the entire time we shot the show & was given the ultimate Major League Baseball CURVE ball so that upset her.”

Does Frank Ocean’s Latest “Leak” Signal Longer Music Drought?

Frank Ocean’s highly sought after vault of music has once again been breached by eager hackers dying for new music from the career covert crooner.

This time, leakers managed to set free an angelic demo of an unreleased collaboration between Frank and Blood Orange. Though only about one-minute of the record has surfaced on Twitter (and it appears to be an interlude or unfinished cut of some sort based on how short it is), fans still can’t seem to get enough of the vibrant snippet. However, through all the excitement about the record, angst appeared to manifest on the timeline shortly after.

“These songs leaking is bound to happen when you have diehard fans waiting almost 8 years for a new album,” one user wrote in a reply underneath the thread of the snippet, to which another replied, “Well it’s scrapped anyway.”

Frank Ocean dropped his last album in 2016 and shows now signs of releasing anything anytime soon. And to burst the new music bubble even more, the purported leak previously surfaced in 2020. So at this point, we are getting repeat leaks—not even fresh, unheard material. In other words, it’s looking and sounding real quiet for new Frank Ocean in the near future. This joint still cranks, though.

Will Smith Admits He Was Scared For His Life On Date With Salt-N-Pepa Rapper

Will Smith was terrified during his “one and only date” with Pepa of Salt-N-Pepa.

During Cheryl’ Salt’ James and Sandra’ Pepa’ Denton’s appearance on his “Class of ’88” podcast, the rapper-turned-actor revealed he “always had a thing for Sandy” before they went on their “one and only date” in 1988.

Will admitted he wanted to win over the Push It singer so badly on their date that he rented a car.

“This girl was special and I wanted to impress her, so I rented a white Mercedes convertible just because I needed to floss a little bit,” he said, reports People. “My plan was then to take her around Hollywood Hills, drive up Mulholland and all that, watch the sunset.”

Pepa remembered thinking the DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince star was “so nice” when he gave a homeless person a hundred dollar bill during their date.

While she was impressed, Will was terrified trying to “shoot (his) shot” with the Whatta Man hitmaker.

“My concern was that I was going to get killed,” the Oscar-winning actor confessed. “That was my concern when I was trying to spit my game, but I ain’t really have nothing.

“I was always faked like I had game. I didn’t really have a game. I was always in this full-on, trying to give the wildest flavor of having game, but that might have been the most terrified I had ever been trying to shoot my shot with Pepa. And I didn’t believe I had a real shot.”

Their dalliance quickly fizzled out after that date; however, he, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Salt-N-Pepa “always really got along.”

Blueface Responds To Fan Theory He’s Visibly Suffering From Venereal Disease

Blueface is battling rumors he has a sexually transmitted disease following a recent interaction with one of his followers during an Instagram livestream.

A clip surfaced of Blueface aggressively addressing allegations over the weekend during what initially appeared to be a harmless conversation with fans. It appears the discourse started after a user with the handle @gotittaop began antagonizing Blueface about a blemish he had on his face near his lips and just under his nose.

“SY why y’all got the same bumps same spot,” a viewer wrote in a comment during the livestream. Before the user could get another word in, the “Thotianna” rapper quickly snapped back, “By the way this is a keloid b###h. You see that s###, stop making up f###ng lies.”

While it’s one of the first instances we’ve seen Blueface be accused of having an STD, it goes without saying he’s fighting multiple demons when it comes to speculative rumors about himself. In fact, his ex-girlfriend Chrisean Rock just recently accused Blueface of being part of the LGBTQ community publicly on social media following their messy breakup.

50 Cent Reacts To Taraji P. Henson Firing Her Team For Botching Opportunities After “Empire” Success

Taraji P. Henson has revealed she fired her entire team for failing to capitalize on the success of her TV show “Empire” and rapper 50 Cent loved it.

After starring as Cookie Lyon on all six seasons of the drama from 2015 to 2020, the actress wanted to make the most of her character’s popularity – but her team didn’t follow through. While speaking to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation in a recent interview, Taraji named “firing everybody after Cookie” as the best business move she’s made in her career.

“Everybody had to f###### go,” she asserted. “Where is my deal? Where’s my commercial? Cookie was at the top of the fashion game. Where is my endorsement? What did you have set up for after this?

“That’s why you all haven’t seen me in so long. They had nothing set up.”

While Taraji’s team allegedly didn’t organize promotional opportunities surrounding the Cookie character, they did pitch another series in the “Empire” franchise.

“All they wanted was another Cookie show, and I said, ‘I’ll do it, but it has to be right. The people deserve, she’s too beloved for y’all to f### it up,'” Taraji recalled. “And so, when they didn’t get it right, I was like, ‘Well, that’s it,’ and they had nothing else.”

She remembered telling the team, “You’re all f###### fired.”

50 Cent has been making overtures to work with Taraji over the last few days. After the actress broke down in tears about the paygap between black actresses in Hollywood, 50 offered to work with the “Color Purple” star.

After getting wind of Taraji’s bold move to fire her team, 50 took to IG to react to the latest headline news surrounding the actress.

“They dropped the ball f### em @tarajiphenson I’m ready to work let’s get it !” 50 Cent said.

Elsewhere in the interview, Taraji admitted she was hesitant about firing her team beforehand due to insecurity.

“It took me years to get there,” she said. “You are the prize. Don’t you ever forget that.”

She advised other actors, “You are the talent. You are their check. Don’t ever forget that. They work for you. If they are not… somebody else will do it. I stayed with the same team for years.”

Jermaine Jackson Accused Of Breaking Into Woman’s Home & Sexually Assaulting Her

Jermaine Jackson has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman over three decades ago.

A lawsuit filed Wednesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court showed the founding member of the Jackson 5 was sued by Rita Barrett, who claimed Jermaine forced his way into her home and assaulted her in 1988.

According to the legal documents, Rita asserted she knew Jermaine, now 69, for several years before the alleged sexual assault took place due to “professional and personal connections.”

The papers stated that her husband, Ben Barrett, worked closely with Berry Gordy, whom she believed was “in a business and/or management relationship” with Jackson at the time of the alleged assault.

“Defendant Jackson forced himself into Plaintiff’s home, and with force and violence sexually assaulted Plaintiff,” the lawsuit read. “During the assault, Plaintiff, a woman of faith, prayed to God for help. During the assault, Plaintiff feared for her life. After the assault and when Defendant Jackson was satiated, he left the residence.”

Rita claimed she reported the assault the following day to Gordy, whom she alleged “withheld and concealed the acts.”

While Gordy isn’t named as a defendant, Rita accused him of protecting Jermaine over the alleged assault for financial interest. Berry Gordy produced The Jackson 5 and gave Jermaine and his brothers – including Michael Jackson – worldwide fame.

Keefe D & Co. Issued “Green Light” On Witnesses Over 2Pac Murder Case According To Prosecutors

Las Vegas prosecutors claim Keefe D, the man accused of participating in Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder, is allegedly up to his old ways.

Prosecutors have raised concerns about the safety of witnesses speaking out against Keefe D, the former Los Angeles-area gang leader charged with orchestrating the murder of gangsta rap icon Tupac Shakur.

According to a new court filing, Keefe D was caught on a jailhouse telephone call with his son, who allegedly informed him of a “green light” order—also known as an authorization to kill people.

The prosecutors, Marc DiGiacomo and Binu Palal, highlighted the gravity of the situation, noting that the federal government had to intervene to relocate at least one witness due to credible threats.

The October 9 jail call was presented as evidence of the potential danger to the community and indicated a consciousness of guilt on the part of Keefe D.

Keefe D was arrested on September 29 in connection with the murder of Shakur. He was charged with one count of murder using a deadly weapon and with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang.

Keefe D, 60, is currently being held without bail at the Clark County Detention Center. He pleaded not guilty to the murder charge. His attorneys, Robert Arroyo and Charles Cano, are set to respond to the allegations in an upcoming court hearing on January 2.

They’ve previously filed a bail request, arguing that he poses no danger and requires proper medical attention for his colon cancer, which is reportedly in remission.

Prosecutors say Keefe D confessed multiple times to ordering the hit since 2008, including in police interviews, a 2019 memoir and media statements, where he allegedly admitted to orchestrating the September 1996 drive-by shooting that killed Tupac Shakur and wounded former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight. Keefe D’s attorneys contend the accounts were for entertainment purposes and financial gain.

Cardi B Fires Back At Hater After Going Off On Her Fans

Cardi B has been on a digital rampage. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper had a lot to say to her supporters and detractors on X (formerly Twitter) over the last several days.

A highly publicized breakup with Offset played a role in Cardi B’s meltdown. After calling out her fans on Spaces for assuming she reunited with her estranged husband, the Bronx native turned her attention to a hater.

“Don’t u have kids to feed?” one X user asked Cardi on the social media platform. The 31-year-old recording artist fired back, “They [are] fed, bathed and rich… NEXT.” Her tweet collected over 17,000 likes and 1.9 million views.

The speculation about a possible reconciliation with Offset began after the couple spent time together with their children for the Christmas holidays. Additionally, false reports recently claimed the “Jealousy” collaborators had officially gotten back together.

A few hours after her clapback post, Cardi focused on her Bardi Gang fanbase again. She posted, “I must be a lil toxic cuz I enjoyed cursing ya out today… but we not taking that into 2024. Now have a good day. No, make it a bad day!”

Cardi B will bring in the New Year with a performance on ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024. The Grammy winner’s segment for the televised celebration will air from the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel.

Offset will also be in South Florida for New Year’s Eve. The Set It Off album creator has a gig scheduled at Fontainebleau’s LIV club the same night. According to reports, both Hip-Hop stars were booked before the separation.

Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine and Alchemist gave fans a belated Christmas gift by releasing the original version of Hall and Nash 2 on Friday (December 29). The trio intended to drop the project years ago, but Griselda’s deal with Shady Records changed their plans. Alchemist explained the story behind Hall and Nash 2 when he revealed the OG version’s release on Instagram.

“When I first linked with @westsidegunn & @whoisconway, the original plan was to do a Hall and Nash 2 tape,” Alchemist wrote. “From the first day in the lab, I knew I needed these guys on my beats more than they needed my beats. The s### was coming out crazy, they linked with @groovyq one day at my spot and made one, we knew we had something good.”

He continued, “While we were finishing the project, they signed their deal with Shady. We ended up changing the plan to drop H&N2 and over time used some of the songs for different things, but a handful of songs never came out and the original version of the album was never released. Now for the first time, the OG version of Hall and Nash 2 will be released … Collectors item for the day ones.”

Alchemist also teased fans by announcing an official follow-up to Westside Gunn and Conway’s Hall and Nash EP, which dropped in 2016. The acclaimed producer said he was working on the sequel with longtime Griselda producer Daringer.

“Next year me @daringer_ Wes & Conway already cooking an official HALL and NASH 2,” Alchemist wrote. “u have been warned.”

Cardi B Berates Her Fans Over Offset Reunion Rumors

Cardi B vehemently denied speculation about her reconciling with her estranged husband Offset on Friday (December 29). The Atlantic Records artist lambasted her fans for spreading the rumor on social media in a rant on X (formerly known as Twitter) Spaces.

“Shut the f### up!” Cardi B said. “Bout to delete my whole social media because y’all don’t shut the f### up. And it’s the same f###### dumb—my own f###### fan base. The last time I got dragged was because my f###### fan base. I don’t see nobody talking s### but my own f###### fan base.”

Cardi B believed her fans were disrespecting her over the reunion rumor. The diamond-selling rapper questioned why they assumed she got back with her husband after the two spent time together during the holidays.

“Stupid ass m############, I’m about to f###### unfollow all of y’all ‘cause that’s all I see: y’all talking s### on my timeline,” she said. “I’m searching my name. I’m trying to see if anybody else talking s###. Nobody else talking s### but y’all. So, shut the f### up! All over my s###. Shut up!”

She continued, “Y’all heard something out of my mouth? B####, y’all heard I’m back with a n#### out my mouth? No! S### is f###### annoying. For f###### three days, y’all been doing the same s###. Earlier this month, Cardi B revealed she’s been “single for a minute now” amid rumors of Offset cheating. The two have been married since 2017, but their relationship has gone through some rocky moments. Cardi B notably filed for divorce in 2020. The couple quickly reconciled as Cardi B called off the divorce one month after the filing.

Tupac Shakur Murder Case: Prosecutors Strike Back At Keefe D’s Bid To Get Out Of Jail

Prosecutors asked a Nevada judge to reject Keefe D’s request for bail in the Tupac Shakur murder case. According to the Associated Press, prosecutors said Keefe D “confessed over and over again that he is responsible for the murder” in a court filing on Thursday (December 28).

“Now, finally, facing the consequences of his actions, [Davis] asks this court to ignore his words,” prosecutors wrote. “[He] was the shot caller.”

Keefe D, whose real name is Duane Davis, wanted to be released on house arrest while he awaits trial. He sought bail of no more than $100,000.

A bail hearing is scheduled for Tuesday (January 2). Keefe D’s lawyers said he was not a flight risk and posed no danger to the community. They urged a judge to release him due to health concerns. They noted he was diagnosed with colon cancer, but it was in remission.

“His diet and lack of exercise in the jail, given his age and medical history, is negatively impacting his health,” the defense argued.

Prosecutors thought Keefe D’s years of stories about his alleged involvement in Tupac’s murder were enough to keep him in jail. They pointed to him incriminating himself in interviews, a tell-all book and conversations with police. Keefe D’s lawyers insisted his book and interviews were nothing more than “entertainment.”

Keefe D was arrested for Tupac’s murder in September 2023. The former gang leader pleaded not guilty to murder with a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang.

Tupac was shot in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996. He passed away a few days later on September 13, 1996.

Prosecutors did not believe Keefe D was the shooter but accused him of orchestrating the murder. His nephew Orlando Anderson, who died in 1998, was long considered the prime suspect.

Chaka Khan Ends Kanye West Beef; Says She Better Understands Rap Game Now

Chaka Khan moved on from her feud with Kanye West, who famously sampled her for his breakthrough single “Through the Wire.” The legendary singer told Rolling Stone her issues with Ye were a thing of the past as she was not “hanging on to any silly grudges” about the sample anymore.

“That was my fault, too, for feeling salty about that in any way,” Chaka Khan said. “Because if I understood the rap game more completely, like I do now, then that wouldn’t have been a big deal to me.”

Kanye received Chaka’s permission to sample her song “Through the Fire,” but she did not realize her voice would be sped up on his track. Chaka publicly complained about the alteration of her voice, noting how the experience changed the way she responded to sample requests. She most recently expressed her displeasure with Kanye’s “Through the Wire” in a 2022 interview with Good Day DC.

“I was upset about sounding like a chipmunk ’cause he didn’t put that when he asked could he sample my song,” she told Good Day DC. “He didn’t mention that he was going to speed it up three times its normal speed. Had he, I would’ve had something to say. But since I didn’t think of that, believe me, I think of it now. [Regarding samples] I ask, ‘How are we gonna do this?'”

Good Day DC asked Chaka if she ever heard from Kanye after she aired out her grievance with him. According to the Queen of Funk, he never reached out to her.

“No,” she said. “I’m not looking to hear from Kanye either. I’ve not heard from him and I’m not looking to hear from him. That’s what he did. That’s what he did with his music.”

Lil Mabu Addresses Claims He Used “N-Word” In “Teach Me How To Drill” With Fivio Foreign

Lil Mabu and Fivio Foreign linked up for the “Teach Me How To Drill” collaboration. The two New Yorkers presently have the top trending music video on YouTube.

“Teach Me How To Drill” gained traction online after its December 21 release. In particular, a lyrical exchange between Mabu and Fivio caused outlets to suggest the Caucasian rapper used the n-word.

Lil Mabu has reacted to the speculation about his supposed word usage on the track. The 18-year-old Upper East Side, Manhattan native commented on Instagram, “Someone please defend me [raised fist emoji].”

One section of “Teach Me How To Drill” caught listeners’ attention. Some people questioned if one of Lil Mabu’s lines included the former private high school student using a potentially offensive term.

“He look like a singer, but white boy’ll get up on ’em/He can’t say the word, I’ma say it for him,” Fivio Foreign raps. Mabu adds, “You not the biggest, I’m bigger. You just a broke lil…” Fivio continues, “N####.”

Lil Mabu jumps back in to say, “And I’m young and I’m richer/Five bands on a fit/Five bands on a fit, but your pillow lookin’ like a tea bag…” Fivio closes out the bar by again saying, “N####.”

Other Instagram users did defend Mabu. One person wrote, “U ain’t say it. [face with tears of joy emoji]. They tryna play n yo face.” Another commenter chimed in, “We know you didn’t say it [face with tears of Joy emoji] don’t worry.”

Lil Mabu started turning heads with 2022’s “Throw” featuring DD Osama. The Billboard Hot 100-charting “Mathematical Disrespect” followed in May. Mabu also scored another Hot 100 entry in November with “Mr. Take Ya B*tch” featuring Chrisean Rock.

The official “Teach Me How To Drill music video has amassed more than 7.7 million YouTube views in seven days. Lil Mabu and Fivo Foreign’s joint effort collected roughly 1.7 million plays on Spotify so far.

Denzel Curry Blasts President Joe Biden

Denzel Curry has an explicit take on Joe Biden. The Miami Gardens-bred rapper used his social media platform to slam the current President of the United States.

“F### Joe Biden,” Denzel Curry tweeted on Thursday (December 28). Moments later, he also shouted himself out by posting, “Zel for president 2024.”

Curry did not go into detail on why he chose to blast Biden at this time. The POTUS has been under fire for several reasons in recent weeks, including for his support of Israel’s bombing of the Gaza Strip.

Joe Biden also had many members of the Hip-Hop community shaking their heads after he botched LL Cool J’s name during a Congressional Black Caucus event in September. However, rap legend MC Lyte defended the Democratic politician for his mistake.

Despite his negative comment about Joe Biden on X, Denzel Curry has also criticized Biden’s main political opponent in the past. A 2017 interview featured the “Ultimate” performer sharing his opinion of then-President Donald Trump.

“I felt like I was part of the problem honestly. Being disillusioned and thinking, ‘Nah, that’s not gonna happen, this n#### ain’t gonna be president.’ Then this n#### became president. So what the f### just happened?” Curry stated about the Republican MAGA leader.

Denzel Curry also added, “I don’t get all the choices I want, but I definitely didn’t want this n#### to be my president. Now I’m forced to write this. That’s how I felt like at the time. I’m not a super-political n####, but at the same time, I’m going to voice my opinion to people in my age group.”

Donald Glover Teases New Childish Gambino Album To Drop Soon

Donald Glover is an award-winning actor. The Atlanta native is also an award-winning recording artist known as Childish Gambino.

Fans of Childish Gambino have not gotten a new album from the rapper since 2020’s 3.15.20. That project followed 2011’s Camp, 2013’s Because the Internet and 2016’s “Awaken, My Love!”

It appears Gambino is ready to release another body of work shortly. During a brief conversation with TMZ, the 40-year-old entertainer teased a musical comeback.

“Another album,” Childish Gambino answered when asked what he has coming up next. In addition, the former Community star told the cameraperson a new collection of tunes would arrive “soon.”

While it has been three years since Gambino dropped his last album, he has remained active in Hollywood. For example, he co-created the Swarm series for Amazon Prime Video.

Additionally, Donald Glover will produce and star in Amazon Prime Video’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith television remake. His previous TV work includes the production of the Emmy-winning Atlanta.

Childish Gambino has won five Grammy Awards during his career. The Recording Academy named “This Is America” as Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year in 2019.

“This Is America” also received the award for Best Rap/Sung Performance. Gambino won his first Grammy in 2018 when “Redbone” scored a victory in the Best Traditional R&B Performance category.

Ty Dolla $ign Fully Embraces Kanye West Collaborative Album With ¥$ Tattoo

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign, collectively known as ¥$, joined forces to create the forthcoming Vultures studio LP. Apparently, Ty wants the world to know he’s fully on board with the alliance.

The two musicians’ collaborative album is currently scheduled to come out on January 12, 2024. Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign prepare to drop the project as Ye makes headlines for apologizing to the Jewish community.

While some Jewish organizations and Jewish media figures refused to accept West’s apology, Ty Dolla $ign continues to promote his partnership with the controversial rapper.

Ty took to his Instagram Story on Thursday (December 28) to share a photo of a new ¥$ tattoo on his face. The R&B singer also had the “Vultures” single playing on the post.

The “Vultures” collaboration arrived on November 22. Chicago-bred rappers Bump J and Lil Durk appear as featured artists. Kanye West faced backlash for some of his lyrics on the song.

“How I’m anti-semitic? I just f##### a Jewish b####,” raps Kanye West on the “Vultures” title track. Those words generated widespread negative reactions which eventually led to Ye’s apologetic message.

Kanye West wrote, “I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused.”
