The surviving members of Run-DMC—Darryl “DMC” McDaniels and Joseph “Rev” Simmons—will perform at a star-studded event celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop. According to a press release, Hip Hop 50 Live will take place on at Yankee Stadium on August 11 with headliners Run-DMC, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube. Additional performances include a Queens of Hip-Hop set with Eve, Lil Kim, Remy Ma and Trina with more to be announced.
T.I., Fat Joe, Common, A$AP Ferg, EPMD, Ghostface Killah, Lupe Fiasco and Slick Rick are also scheduled to perform along with a “Pillars of Hip-Hop Set” with DJ Kool Herc, Cindy Campbell, Grandmaster Caz, Kurtis Blow, Melle Mel, Roxanne Shanté, Scorpio, Sugar Hill Gang. Battlecat, Clark Kent, Mannie Fresh and Marley Marl will be on the decks as well.
The Run-DMC reunion is particularly special considering they rarely play together anymore. Speaking to Rock The Bells in January, DMC said, “Run-DMC is over. The only way Run-DMC gets back together is if The Beatles get back together. Can that happen?”
But, in what’s been dubbed as “Bottom of the 9th…The Walk Off,” it’s likely the duo’s last show.
“I am honored to hit the stage in the Bronx, the birthplace of Hip Hop and celebrate all of my heroes,” Run said, while DMC added, “August 11 is Hip Hop’s 50th birthday! So…’Up in the Bronx’ where it all started we will be celebrating this historic moment in history! I am honored to pay tribute to the culture that allowed this little shy kid from Queens to grow up and become The Mighty King of Rock! Thank you Hip Hop!”
Pre-sale tickets go on sale beginning June 8 at 10 a.m. EST. General admission tickets will go up on June 9 HERE. Hip Hop 50 Live at Yankee Stadium tickets will start as low as $50.
Bam Margera was found unharmed in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon (June 4). But several LAPD officers still found his behavior worrisome enough to place him on a 5150 hold. According to TMZ, the troubled professional skateboarder was apprehended at Trejo’s Tacos, the restaurant owned by Danny Trejo. Once they made contact with Margera, they determined his erratic speech and behavior combined with recent suicidal threats he’s made was enough to call in a psychiatric evaluation team.
Margera was taken to a mental health facility, where he can legally be held for up to 72 hours, but whether he’s still getting treatment is another story.
Margera’s brother, Jess, sounded the alarm early Sunday, tweeting, “If anyone in the LA area knows of bams current whereabouts or a hotel he might be at please call the LAPD immediately. I am trying to get them to ping his phone but as usual it’s a whole huge process and I don’t think we have that kind of time. If you guys could all retweet this that would be really cool of you. Thanks for your help.”
If anyone in the LA area knows of bams current whereabouts or a hotel he might be at please call the LAPD immediately. I am trying to get them to ping his phone but as usual it’s a whole huge process and I don’t think we have that kind of time. If you guys could all retweet this…
Margera’s friends and family are continually worried about his mental health. His biggest issue seems to be his pending divorce from Nikki Boyd and custody issues with his son Phoenix. Last week, the Jackass star claimed in a since-deleted video: “I haven’t seen [son] Phoenix in two f–king months. I have to wake up every day, knowing that I probably won’t get to talk to him or see him.”
He added, “I’m going to smoke crack with the bums down at the f–king boardwalk until I’m dead unless you deliver me f–king Phoenix. Get to work Nikki, or anyone that wants to help. I want Phoenix.”
Boyd is seeking $15,000 per month in child support payments, spousal support and sole physical and legal custody of Phoenix.
The Ultimate Rap League has threatened Eazy the Block Captain with legal action, alleging the Philly battle rapper breached his contract when he battled Hitman Holla at Remy Ma’s Chrome 23 event in February.
Eazy began making waves in the battle rap scene after participating in URL’s Ultimate Madness tournament back in the summer of 2020. Since then, he battled numerous top-tier opponents, rising to become one of the brightest stars of the new era.
However, in documents obtained by AllHipHop.com, URL accuses Eazy of breaching his contract to battle Hitman Holla earlier this year. In addition, they also claim Eazy attempted to “poach” their signed or affiliated talent to perform at his The Trenches event last weekend (Jun. 3).
Eazy claimed he got out of his URL contract just hours before his Hitman Holla battle but URL say “his contract remains legally binding.”
The league state Eazy The Black Captain attempted to “persuade other artists to breach their contracts with URL.” They allege he did this “despite the fact that he and his legal counsel were notified not to tortiously interfere with URL’s artists.”
“Anthony Brown (p/k/a Eazy the Block Captain) has been under contract with URL since April 2020. Despite Eazy’s decision to breach his agreement by performing in Chrome23’s February 2023 event, his contract remains legally binding.”
The letter continues, “In addition to breaching his contractual obligations, Brown has tried to persuade other artists to breach their contracts with URL. Indeed, upon announcing his “Trenches” battle rap event, Eazy approached talent signed to or affiliated with URL. He did this, “despite the fact that he and his legal counsel were notified not to tortiously interfere with URL’s artists.”
URL claims they gave Eazy “ample time to modify the card” but instead, he “consciously elected to promote the card with only minor adjustments, transparently using his dispute with URL as a marketing ploy to help promote his event.”
They further state their intention to sue Eazy for damages suffered unless he honors his contract and stops his attempts to hire URL talent.
“The choice is simple: Mr. Brown can either honor the remaining terms of the Agreement
with URL, or he can defend against a lawsuit in which URL will seek to recover the damages it
suffered when Mr. Brown breached his exclusivity obligation by battling Hitman Holla at
Chrome23’s February 25, 2023 anniversary event. Similarly, unless Mr. Brown immediately
ceases interfering with URL’s exclusive talent, URL intends to sue Mr. Brown for his indisputable
tortious interference.”

Rapper Kanye West and his family were going to church on Sunday, June 4, when he was bombarded by paparazzi.
The multi-Grammy-winning recording artist and producer gathered his wife Bianca Censori, his 4-year-old son Psalm and his entourage to attend service in Los Angeles, but the photographers hounded him (either when he was arriving and leaving) with exclusive pictures that they eventually sold to TMZ.
The photographer and her attorney Gloria Allred announced the lawsuit at a press conference on Thursday (June 1).
“The incident with Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, was traumatic to me,” Lechmanik said. “He reached into my car as if he was going to hit me. He grabbed my phone out of my hand and then angrily threw it into the street. He caused me so much fear, I have not been able to be the same since then. His actions have interfered with my ability to work.”
Earlier in 2023, Kanye confronted Lechmanik and a different paparazzo when they tailed his car. Video of the incident surfaced online.
TMZ posted an acquired video of the Sunday church outing. In it, Ye is seen spazzing out on the paparazzi, jumping out of his SUV and shouting, “Like seriously, bro. Always you mother##kers! Stop following me.”
In some of the pictures, Yeezy is dressed in all black (a t-shirt that says Polizei and tights). Censori is also in all-black with a sheer dress over her outfit and a huge donut around her shoulders.
A few of the photographs showed him playing with Psalm on a tiny teal and black two-wheel bike.
Psalm, dressed in all white and a bronze-colored helmet, seemed unfased by the photographers as he played with his attentive father.

Since 2003, DJ Herbert Holler has emerged a legend in his own right, bringing happiness and elation to people’s lives. The purpose of The Freedom Party was to unite individuals from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities on one dancefloor, sharing a passion for unforgettable parties and the love of 90s and old-school music.
It comes as no surprise that The Freedom Party has won multiple awards and recognitions over the years. In 2010, it was honored with Papermag’s Best Party (People’s Choice) award, and URB Magazine gave it an honorable mention in the Best Party category. The party reached new heights in 2015 when it received the prestigious Best Dance Party award from Village Voice.
The year 2020 was a monumental one for The Freedom Party as it celebrated its 800th party in style with a sold-out night at Live Nation’s Irving Plaza. However, the party doesn’t limit itself to NYC alone. Over the past 20 years, residencies have been held in cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Atlanta, DC, and Cleveland, allowing people from various locations to experience the exhilaration.
Recently, The Freedom Party expanded its reach globally by establishing events in Tokyo. It offers something truly unique and different from other parties out there. The vibe and ever-changing energy draw people to its sold-out dance floors. The Game is mourning the loss of his closest friend, AR. According to an Instagram post he shared on Sunday (June 4), AR was involved in a murder-suicide. As Game noted in the caption, he took his own life and the life of someone else.
He wrote, “I’m crying while I type this because I miss you so much!! My emotions are all over the place because of the entire situation & it’s hard to feel the way a person should normally feel when losing a best friend, brother… due to the fact that you not only took your life, but you took someone else’s as well. I send a tremendous amount of prayers to her family and my heart is with you all as you process the untimely death of your daughter, sister, niece, cousin, family member.
“In no way shape or form do I mean any disrespect at all or condone his actions in the matter, but I promise you didn’t know the Avante I did. The Avante I grew up with, fought with, cried with & stood back to back for 30 years with was a happy, comedic father & friend who loved hard & would literally do anything for me, my children or anyone he loved.”
The Game also shed light on their special friendship, which evidently stretched back to kindergarten.
“I waited a few days because the initial impact of hearing you were no longer here on earth, simply crushed me,” he began. “Since kindergarten it’s been me & you side by side going through life together. Staying up past our bedtimes watching WWE, to walking to the store to get a soda & chips every time we mowed another lawn & made $1 a piece, to growing up, smoking our 1st joint together, stealing cars, joining gangs, waiting on each other to get out of jail, sellin dope, gettin shot & surviving it all so that we could learn how to rap from watching ‘106 & Park.’
“Travel the world, stamp 4 passports, meet fans & see places we never imagined… It was ALWAYS ‘Chuck & AR.’ It hurts my hurt to know that all I have left is my memories & I’ve been drowning them with my tears this entire weekend.”
Game look back fondly on AR’s presence at the hospital when all of his children were born. He commended him for not missing a single birthday party.
He added, “I got shot & woke up from my coma… as soon as I was discharged he was right there to take me home. I got stories, memories & stuff I could share with you for days but right now my tears are an ocean running down my face as I’m still in shock, disbelief & repudiation over the whole situation. I’m hurt beyond belief & I’m going to miss you everyday until I am no more. I love you & my heart is with Ms. Rose.”
https://www.instagram.com/p/CqvshB3STOI/
The Game is receiving an outpouring of support from fans and peers alike. DJ Premier wrote, “Hold ya head Game. Keep the good memories with you always in order to move forward. Love and Condolences to their families,” while Pusha T, Hit-Boy and Hi-Tek, among others, kept it simple.
DJ Quik, meanwhile, asked for prayers for The Game.
Someone who identified as a friend of AR assured Game how much he loved him. He also suggested mental illness was to blame for the incident and that the victim was a woman AR was possibly involved with romantically.
He wrote, “He loved you till his last day. Like all brothers we go through our ups n downs but in the end the love is always the same and never lost . AR was your right hand man and all he knew was the life you and him created together when he wasn’t with you he was not the same we use to talk about what he had going on and he would just vent to me about everything and we would try to think of plans to do different hustles n gigs together but the life he lived with you were the best times of his life and just like you said he loved his n#### game to death and he mean it from the guts !
“My boy was a sucker for love and loved hard but I would never have thought of anything like this those of us who knew him never would have thought he was capable of something like this but mental illness is a real issue and comes in different forms. My heart goes out to the victim and her family and to AR’s mom who loved him dearly and to all his babies he left behind may god bless all. May god and only God judge . john8:7 he that is without sin among you let him cast the first stone.”
Spotify controls a significant market share in the music streaming space. The Sweden-based company also presents numerous exclusive podcasts.
A new report by Variety claims Spotify plans to lay off 200 employees in the streamer’s podcast division. This move will come after the audio content platform cut 6% of its overall staff earlier this year.
“We are expanding our partnership efforts with leading podcasters from across the globe with a tailored approach optimized for each show and creator,” said Spotify VP Sahar Elhabashi in a memo sent out on Monday.
Elhabashi added, “We have made the difficult but necessary decision to make a strategic realignment of our group and reduce our global podcast vertical and other functions by approximately 200 people, or 2% of Spotify’s workforce.”
Spotify has been home to podcasts such as Call Her Daddy and The Joe Rogan Experience. Hip Hop media personality DJ Akademiks also launched his Off The Record show on the streaming app in September 2021.
“I’m not saying we will not do business in the future because we may. Please do not take this as a deterrent to Spotify. All that I’m telling you right now is that our views of where podcasting is taking us for the next five years are not aligned,” Joe Budden told his audience at the time of the 2020 split.
Philadelphia-bred rap star Lil Uzi Vert scored a Top 10 smash earlier this year with the “Just Wanna Rock” single. Is the purple-haired hitmaker ready to release his next full-length project?
Lil Uzi Vert showed up in his hometown for The Roots Picnic festival on Saturday. According to reports, a festivalgoer asked Uzi when fans can expect to see The Pink Tape land on DSPs.
“End of the month,” responded Lil Uzi Vert in a short video posted to social media on June 4. The 27-year-old Generation Now/Atlantic recording artist has been teasing the project for several years.
The Pink Tape will join a discography that includes 2017’s Luv Is Rage 2 and 2020’s Eternal Atake. Both albums debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. 2020’s Pluto x Baby Pluto with Future peaked at No. 2.
TMZcaught up with Lil Uzi Vert earlier this year. In March, the celebrity news outlet questioned Uzi about supposedly recording The Pink Tape while remaining sober versus creating music under the influence of drugs.
“It was challenging at first. But then probably after a month, I got used to it,” said Uzi. They also added, “I thought that my creative process wasn’t going to be the same because I wasn’t on drugs no more. It was the same. Even better.”
Uzi explained, “Because I could think more [clearly] and I could actually, like, instead of my words slurring, which is kinda cool, everything made sense. I didn’t just make random music, I didn’t just play off the beat. I actually made songs with topics this time.”
“Just Wanna Rock” rose to No. 10 on the weekly Billboard Hot 100 chart. Lil Uzi Vert’s seventh Top 10 entry became the unofficial anthem for the Philadelphia Eagles during the NFL team’s playoff run to Super Bowl LVII.
The final season of Freeform’s Grown-ish will include a star-studded lineup of guest performances. Rappers Latto and NLE Choppa as well as singers Kelly Rowland and Omarion have been confirmed for the sitcom.
Season 6 of Grown-ish will be the final run for the Black-ish spin-off. The California University-set Grown-ish features Black-ish-introduced characters played by Yara Shahidi and Marcus Scribner.
Deadline reports Latto will take on the role of a wine representative named Sloane. The “Big Energy” hitmaker began her entertainment career as a contestant on The Rap Game competition reality show.
Kelly Rowland will portray a psychology professor on Grown-ish. The Destiny’s Child member previously acted in films and TV series such as Think Like a Man, The Curse of Bridge Hollow, and American Soul.
NLE Choppa and Omarion will appear as themselves in the upcoming Grown-ish season. The show’s main cast also includes Trevor Jackson, Diggy Simmons, Daniella Perkins, Justine Skye, and Tara Raani.
The Grammy-nominated R&B duo of Chloe x Halle spent several years on Grown-ish as well. Chlöe Bailey (Swarm) and Halle Bailey (The Little Mermaid) acted as the Forster twins for the first four seasons.

This week’s Billboard 200 sees Almost Healed open at No. 3. Lil Durk’s latest body of work brought in 125,000 equivalent album units in its first week of release.
Taylor Swift’s Midnights (282,000 units) and Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time (126,000 units) took the top two spots on the most recent Billboard 200. Wallen also appears on Almost Healed.
In addition, Lil Durk’s Almost Healed features Alicia Keys, J. Cole, Chief Wuk, Future, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, Rob49, and the late Juice Wrld. “All My Life” with J. Cole peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100 chart.

Last year, Lil Durk added another Number One to his catalog when 7220 debuted in the pole position by earning 120,500 first-week units. 2020’s Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 and 2021’s The Voice plateaued at No. 2.
Durk will likely perform some of his new Almost Healed tracks on the road as part of the “Sorry For The Drought Tour” this summer. The Chicago native tapped Kodak Black and NLE Choppa as opening acts.
Cardi B found herself in a sticky predicament on Sunday evening (Jun. 4) after lighting up the stage at Summer Jam.
The NYC icon was with her team in an elevator when the lift suddenly stopped with them all stuck inside. The small elevator left Cardi and her crew in a tight squeeze with barely any space left in the compact space. However, Cardi B did not panic and made light of the situation, taking to Instagram Live to share her plight with her 165 million followers.
“We’re really f###### stuck in an elevator. You can’t even make this s### up!” she added before repeating their dilemma. Nonetheless, Cardi B remained calm telling her team, “Okay, I’m not even gonna f###### panic.”
The Grammy Award winner reminded herself to breathe after revealing they had been stuck for about ten minutes.
“We’ve been in here for ten minutes. Stuck in a f###### elevator. Let me breathe,” she added. “I’m getting a little excited.”
A few minutes later and Cardi B was still seeing the funny side of the situation.” You know what I should have done today? I should have went home, but a b#### wanted to be outside.” She joked that she was altering between “scared” and “sleepy,” before flipping the memorable line from “Put It On Da Floor Again,” her new single with Latto.
“Rip me out the elevator I been acting brand new,” Cardi B quipped.
Thankfully the group were quickly freed, and after around 15 minutes Cardi B and crew emerged to a sea of paparazzi.
Hours before getting stuck in the elevator, Cardi B headlined Summer Jam, bringing out Latto and GloRilla to perform with her.
Tyler, The Creator gave Pharrell Williams and The Neptunes their flowers for changing ” the trajectory of my life,” when he was just 12 years old.
The “DOGTOOTH” hitmaker took to Instagram over the weekend (Jun.3) to mark Pharell’s 2003 hit song “Frontin’” turning 20. Among a series of images, he reflected on the impression the song left him with as a pre-teen listening on RealPlayer, admitting Pharrell’s melodies left him dumbfounded.
“A few weeks before June 3rd, someone posted a link of FRONTIN’ from some dj radio show on the STAR TRAK message boards. a nice treat for me, given ive spent every dollar my mom could spare on any album that had Waters of Nazareth in the credits.”
He continued: “I was stunned. 3 minutes and 57 seconds of dopamine. the grove, familiar, but still sounded like the soundscapes of a different planet. the air of it; aside from GRINDIN and WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT BOY the year before, my ears hadn’t heard anything with that much space in it. 3 percussive sounds, 3 bass notes, 2 chords, and a synthesized whistle that sounded like ice cream melting.”
Tyler, The Creator Says Pharrell Gave Him An Addiction To Bridges
Tyler, The Creator went on to praise Pharell’s melodies and harmonies before revealing how the bridge altered his musical career.
“But what took me over the edge was the bridge. I believe the trajectory of my life changed at that moment. It’s a high chance my addiction of putting bridges on everything was cemented because of this song. I’ve subconsciously been trying to chase that high for 20 years.”
He added: “Most bridges only exist in the middle of the song, but he brought it back at the end. who does that? he did it a few times on justified but this just felt reckless. i was STUNNED. i rushed home every day to replay that link, blocking any phone calls since all we had was AOL. if i remember correctly, i caught the video on CITAS WORLD after school. i was stunned, but this time my eyes was recording information that would, again, change the trajectory of my life.”
Read his post in full below and listen to “Frontin'” at the end of the page.
Cardi B lit up the stage for her headlining set for Summer Jam Sunday with the help of some special guests.
The crowd at the UBS Arena couldn’t wait for the “No Love” hitmaker to perform and began chanting her name before she took the stage. As well as running through the many hits in her catalog, Cardi B brought out two recent collaborators to join her.
Latto took to the stage with Cardi for the first-ever performance their new single “Put It On Da Floor Again.”

Cardi B added another female rap rising star to her set, bringing out GloRilla to deliver their hit song “Tomorrow 2.”
Elsewhere during her headline show, Cardi B showed off the fruits of her labor after revealing the back-breaking yoga poses she used to get herself Summer Jam ready. Belcalis retweeted a clip of her shaking booty to Invasion of Privacy cut “She Bad,” featuring YG.
CARDIJAM was trending on Twitter as concertgoers flocked to the platform with clips of Cardi’s set. However, according to Cardi, some were “trying to be messy,” and attempting to drag the NYC icon along for the ride. Fans have been stirring up her longstanding feud with Nicki Minaj following Cardi B’s collab with Latto.
The Atlanta-bred rapper had her own war of words with Nicki last year. Some believe Latto sent shots at her nemesis on “Put It On Da Floor,” and urged Cardi B to do the same on the remix.
“For y’all muthafuckas that’s on Twitter trying to be messy, please cut the b#######. That’s not me,” Cardi declared during an Instagram Live after Summer Jam. “First of all, y’all been wanting me to be messy all day. Y’all wanted me to be messy on the song. Nah please. Come on now.”
She continued, “Cut the b####### please. Get a mop. Y’all being too messy and y’all being annoying.”
Cardi B on live addressing haters trying to make nothing out of something after her Summer Jam performance tonight:
Misa Hylton insisted she will no longer be “protecting” anybody but her son as she tore into Diddy following their son’s arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence Sunday (Jun. 4).
The stylist and fashion designer took to Instagram Sunday evening, hours after reports of 29-year-old Justin Combs’s detention by the Los Angeles Police Department. In a furious rant, taking aim at his parenting, Misa blasted Diddy in what she called a “come to Jesus Moment.”
“Everyone has to sit around for years and act like there isn’t anything wrong with you. This is where the buck stops for me,” Misa began. “If anything ever happened to my son GOD FORBID. What is anyone going to say to me? When we all know who’s fault it would be.”
She continued, “I do realize Clarity and Context are important. You want to do reality TV? Ok let’s be real then. Let’s lay it all out then starting from the top.”
In another post, she called Didy’s career trajectory into question. “How you go from one of the greatest to ever do it,” Mia asked, “to making all your money off alcohol and suing the damn alcohol company. Sell something healthy that builds people up,” she continued before adding, “I’m sick of it!!!!! NOT MINES.”
Misa Hylton also slammed Diddy’s rumored Hulu reality TV series tentatively titled Diddy + 7. “I’m not with none of that reality TV s###! When is enough ENOUGH? I’m not Protecting no one anymore Just my son. And ALL The children.”
In a separate post, she added: “The statement “a fish rots from the head down” means that, in addition to being a major contributing factor in a family or organization’s success leadership is also the root cause of its failure and demise.”
Justin Combs was reportedly arrested following a routine traffic stop in Beverly Hills. “Officers conducted a traffic stop, and they observed the driver possibly under the influence of unknown alcohol or drugs,” Officer Moore of the LAPD stated. “The investigation revealed that he was under the influence.”
Guess what? Lil Durk just pulled off a fantastic surprise for Pedro, the coolest homeless dude in Hollywood! Picture this: Pedro is chilling in his cozy tent on the street of Hollywood, jamming to the epic beats of Lil Durk and J Cole’s latest banger, “All My Life.” Little did he know, his life was about to take a wild turn!
So, here’s how it went down. Some genius on TikTok stumbled upon Pedro’s video and, of course, couldn’t resist sharing it with the world. And boy, did it blow up! The video went viral, catching the attention of none other than Lil Durk himself. Yep, you heard that right!
When Durk saw Pedro rocking out to his tune, he knew he had to do something special. He reached out to Pedro and surprised him with a few awesome gifts. First off, he hooked Pedro up with a brand-new phone (iPhone, of course). But that’s not all! Durkio fronted for a whole month’s rent for Pedro, ensuring he had a cozy roof over his head at least for a month. Durk also slipped some extra cash into Pedro’s pockets. They did not say exactly how much he got, but I suspect he got broke off something proper! Good work, Durk!
Pedro couldn’t contain his excitement and showered Lil Durk with endless gratitude. I mean, who wouldn’t be over the moon after receiving such a surprise? Pedro is one lucky dude, that’s for sure!
We’re rooting for our buddy Pedro to make the most of this opportunity and I hope that whatever Durk has vested in him is life changing. Maybe he lands a job and can maintain his housing.
So let’s raise our glasses to Lil Durk, the musical hero who changed Pedro’s life in the most unexpected way. Cheers to new beginnings and a little bit of joy in this crazy world!
Tyson Ritter has claimed Machine Gun Kelly went “ballistic” after he made a suggestion for an upcoming scene with Megan Fox.
The All-American Rejects frontman alleged on the “Tuna On Toast” with Stryker podcast on Tuesday that MGK, real name Colson Baker, lost it after he made a suggestion for Megan’s death scene in their movie “Johnny & Clyde.”
“So I go over (to her trailer) and I was like, ‘Hey, Megan. I wanted to talk to you about this moment where, when you die, because you’ve been teasing (my character by) putting my fingers in your mouth, that when you’re dead, I put my fingers in your mouth. And it’s like this sort of resolution to my character, getting his revenge,” he recalled.
“(MGK) was super bummed about me asking if I could put my fingers in Megan Fox’s mouth. She was right there. He just went ballistic. It kinda went maniac mode… And he was fully unhinged.”
Tyson, who described Megan as “a sweetheart,” found a positive in the experience as he was able to take inspiration from MGK’s alleged outburst and use it for his performance in “Prisoner’s Daughter,” which he was shooting at the same time as “Johnny & Clyde.”
“The next day I had to shoot this scene in Vegas where this character goes in and confronts Kate Beckinsale, who’s his ex-wife, and he goes from zero to apes**t. I was really struggling (with) how to throw that switch,” he explained. “I remember when Pistol Pete (MGK) just started going ape on me, I was like, this is really confrontational, but also thank you, dude.”

DC Young Fly—longtime Wild ‘N Out cast member—is suffering an unimaginable tragedy. On May 31, his partner and mother of his three children, Jacky Oh, died in Miami following a cosmetic surgery. While no official cause of death has been confirmed, Local 10 Newshas provided a few additional details about the circumstances.
According to the outlet, Miami Fire Rescue responded to the Homewood Suites by Hilton Miami Downtown/Brickell hotel around 10 p.m. local time after getting a call about an unresponsive woman.
Crews rushed her to Mercy Hospital in Coconut Grove, where—despite attempts to resuscitate her—she was pronounced dead. Police and the medical examiner’s office are currently investigating, but the case is only in its preliminary stages.
In a since-deleted social media post, Jacky Oh allegedly said she was going to Miami to undergo a “mommy makeover.”
DC Young Fly and Smith met in 2015 as cast members of Wild ‘N Out. She eventually left the popular show and created a lip gloss line called the J Nova Collection, while DC Young Fly remained. The comedian was reportedly filming new episodes of Wild ‘N Out in Atlanta when he got the news.
Wild ‘N Out issued a statement to its Facebook page, writing, “We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild N’ Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed. Jacky Oh was a loving friend and beloved colleague of the Wild N’ Out cast throughout five seasons.
“More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children. The BET Media Group extends our sincere condolences to the Smith family, DC Young Fly, B Simone, Nick Cannon, and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time.”
