Judge Makes Flo Rida Pay Annually $500K In Child Support For His Disabled Son

Rapper Flo Rida is known for a lot of his big-baller ways. However, the “Good Feeling” recording artist has been pulled into family court and has been mandated to pay child support for his 6-year-old disabled son.

Video shows the shame-faced baller hiding from the press as the court mandates a hefty child support package and orders him to pay six figures in back support.

The Insider reports on Thursday, May 25, the Florida native left the Bronx court after a judge ruled that he should pay half a million a year to his son’s mother Alexis Adams so that she can care for their needy child, Zohar Dillard.

The mother says the Grammy-Nominated recording artist stopped following a judge’s 2018 order to pay $9,000 a month (plus medical and school costs) years ago, often missing payments.

His delinquency got worse after their son fell from the fifth-floor window of the Jersey City apartment where they lived. Adams alleges Flo Rida stopped paying medical insurance for the child, who was born neurologically disabled and suffered a shattered pelvis, fractures in his left foot, and internal bleeding from the devastating fall on March 4.

Now, a judge is making the rapper, whose real name is Tramar Dillard and who has a net worth of $50 million, pay $14,000 a month in support and $2,212 a month in health insurance for the boy.

The “Low” chart-topper will now have to, by order of the court, set up a $300,000 escrow account for the boy’s needs.

The judge ruled that the account must be replenished every September of each year.

He also is required to add a one-time payment of $188,000 to Adams to compensate her for outstanding expenses, including Zohar’s school costs.

Lil Durk Taps Alicia Keys For “Therapy Session/ Pelle Coat” Music Video

Chicago’s Lil Durk is arguably the hottest rapper in America at the moment. The Only The Family leader’s name became a top trending topic on social media following the release of his Almost Healed album.

Almost Healed dropped today (March 26) with guest appearances by J. Cole, Future, 21 Savage, Juice WRLD, Morgan Wallen, and more. “All My Life” with J. Cole already peaked at No. 2 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart.

In addition, Lil Durk recruited R&B legend Alicia Keys to open his Almost Healed studio LP. Keys provides commentary as a therapist character. The 15-time Grammy winner also shows up in the official “Therapy Session/Pelle Coat” music video.

“Good morning, Durk. I hope you’re doing as well as possible under the circumstances. Can you tell me where was your mind when you heard the news of your friend, Von, passing away on November 6, 2020?” asked Alicia Keys.

Fellow Chicago native Dayvon “King Von” Bennett lost his life outside of a hookah lounge in Atlanta, Georgia. Timothy Leeks, a rapper associated with Quando Rondo, reportedly killed the Welcome to O’Block album creator after an altercation at the nightspot.

In the “Therapy Session/Pelle Coat” video, Alicia Keys also addresses Lil Durk’s brother, Dontay “DThang” Banks, dying in June 2021 as well as his supposed feuds with other Hip Hop artists like YoungBoy Never Broke Again. Keys then praises Durk for his fortitude.

“Despite all of this, you continue to be a warrior, a leader in the rap industry, and a voice in your community. And I want you to feel completely safe in this room. Nobody can hurt you,” stated Alicia Keys. “I encourage you to let your emotions out and express yourself freely.”

Almost Healed follows 2022’s 7220. That studio LP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart by earning 120,000 first-week units. Lil Durk also scored a Number One as one-half of the rap duo that released The Voice of the Heroes. He partnered with Atlanta’s Lil Baby for the 2021 joint project.

Ja Morant’s New Nike Sneakers Sell Out Following Second Gun Incident

It seemed as if the majority of the public turned on Ja Morant after the NBA All-Star flashed a firearm on social media for the second time. However, Morant’s signature sneakers are still a hot product.

According to reports, Nike released the Ja 1 Hunger shoes on Thursday and the footwear quickly sold out. Consumers were able to purchase the sneaks on the Nike-backed SNKRS app.

Ja Morant supposedly signed a multi-year deal with Nike in 2019. The 2020 NBA Rookie Of The Year faced significant backlash for his latest social media misstep which led some observers to believe Nike might part ways with him.

Nike Stood By Ja Morant After The First Firearm Controversy

Back in March, Morant showed off a gun on Instagram Live while inside a Denver-area strip club. The NBA suspended the Memphis Grizzlies player for eight games after a meeting with Commissioner Adam Silver about the situation.

“I realize what I have to lose, and for us as a group, what we have to lose. It’s pretty much just that being more responsible, more smarter, and staying away from all the bad decisions,” said Ja Morant in response to the gun-flashing incident.

The South Carolina native reportedly entered a counseling program at the time. Nike released a statement that read, “We appreciate Ja’s accountability and that he is taking the time to get the help he needs. We support his prioritization of his well-being.”

Morant Posts Cryptic Messages That Leads To Police Wellness Check

Ja Morant was back in the headlines earlier this month. Another Instagram Live video revealed him displaying a firearm again. Nike reportedly removed the Ja 1 sneakers from the company’s website following the second gun controversy.

The story took a troubling turn this week. Ja Morant shared photos of his family members on his Instagram Story with a final post that simply read, “Bye.” Local police conducted a welfare check on Morant’s Tennessee home.

A Shelby County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson told TMZ that Morant was “fine.” Apparently, the 23-year-old former NBA Most Improved Player Award winner told law enforcement officials that his IG posts were just him signifying his break from social media.

Quavo Talks Raising His Nephew Takeoff

The Hip Hop world lost Kirsnick “Takeoff” Ball to gun violence on November 1, 2022. The Migos member’s groupmate/relative, Quavo, continues to mourn the late Georgia-bred rapper.

In fact, Quavo plans to release a body of work dedicated to his nephew. He has described his forthcoming Rocket Power album as a form of therapy to deal with losing Takeoff.

“This album is a true reflection of how I feel right now. Sometimes I’m Good, sometimes I’m Down, sometimes I’m Disappointed, sometimes I fall apart but then I ALWAYS find my strength again,” wrote Quavo on Instagram.

The Gwinnett County representative also added, “I know everything might not be alright right now, but the rocket showed me a way to make it RIGHT!” Quavo returned to Instagram to share a video message about Takeoff.

“I understand he means a lot to y’all, lyrically and musically, but this is my nephew,” stated Quavo about Takeoff. “I raised this man. So, can’t nobody tell me how to love, what to talk about, what to say, what to do, how to do it. Anything I’m with, he’s with.”

Takeoff and Quavo officially joined forces as a duo to drop 2022’s Only Built for Infinity Links collaborative album. Prior to that, Quavo released his first solo LP Quavo Huncho in 2018.

Takeoff’s The Last Rocket also landed that same year. Both rappers contributed to multiple Migos projects such as the chart-topping Culture and Culture II. The original Culture also earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album.

Fellow Migos member Offset recently talked about Takeoff too. A cover story for Variety magazine included Offset confirming Takeoff will have a posthumous appearance on his upcoming sophomore album.

In that feature article, Offset also discussed not being blood-related to Takeoff and Quavo. There have been reports of bad blood between Offset and Quavo since Takeoff’s passing, including an alleged altercation backstage at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

Moneybagg Yo Pushes Back ‘Hard To Love’ Project To Avoid Taylor Swift

Fans of Moneybagg Yo will have to wait a little while longer to hear his next full-length project. Listeners expected Hard To Love to arrive on May 26, but Taylor Swift apparently forced a change of plans.

Taylor Swift presented Midnights (Til Dawn Edition) on Friday, May 26. The deluxe version of her chart-topping 2022 studio LP features rapper Ice Spice and singer Lana Del Rey.

Last night, Moneybagg Yo informed his followers that Hard To Love will be pushed back a week. The Memphis-bred rhymer specifically mentioned Swift in his social media post.

“Ima Let My Baby @taylorswift Drop Tonight. New Date Hard To Love June 2nd FRIDAY! 💔,” wrote Moneybagg Yo in an Instagram caption posted on Thursday.

https://www.instagram.com/reel/CsrtkTsN4MH/?igshid=MTc4MmM1YmI2Ng%3D%3D

Moneybagg Yo debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart in 2021 with his fourth studio album, A Gangsta’s Pain. It appears the Roc Nation-managed recording artist wanted the No. 1 spot again.

A Gangsta’s Pain also earned Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. Plus, Moneybagg’s Time Served album picked up a Gold plaque in 2020.

Moneybagg Yo’s girlfriend chose to promote his upcoming project by teasing the release of explicit content. Ariana “Ari” Fletcher apparently backtracked on that possible arrangement as well.

“When Bagg drop his mixtape and go #1, I’m making my OnlyFans. I already got my first video ready… somebody tell him to hurry up!” wrote Ari Fletcher in a now-deleted tweet.

The Weeknd Reacts To Backlash Over ‘The Idol’ After Controversial Cannes Debut

The Weeknd has responded to the controversy surrounding his upcoming HBO television series, The Idol.

The series, co-created by Euphoria’s Sam Levinson, was criticized by some as being way too sexualized following the Cannes Film Festival premiere. Rolling Stone panned “The Idol” in a review, branding the series a “shitshow.” One insider reportedly described the project as a “rape fantasy.”

While the four-time Grammy Award winner predicted “The Idol” will “p### some people off,” fans were quick to deter him from reading the reviews.

“why ???” Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye asked via Twitter Thursday (May 25), when told not to check the quote tweets on a post featuring the artist at Cannes.

“They saying u look like a teddy bear with birthing hips idk if you saw,” stated one fan. “😂 I kinda see it now,” The Weeknd replied before addressing another response. “What are they saying? All I’m seeing is , “ugly”, “cringe”, “fat”, “not him” ???” he added.

https://twitter.com/theweeknd/status/1661845742967832576?s=20

Nonetheless, The Weeknd took the backlash graciously and is excited for the world to see the series. “i love all of you. every single one. i promise. ❤️,” he wrote. “and one more thing … THE IDOL JUNE F###### 4TH !!!!!!!!!!!”

The Weeknd Predicted “The Idol’ Would Upset Viewers

The Weeknd explained the vision behind The Idol during a press conference at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival earlier this week.

“We Initially wanted to make a dark, twisted fairy tale with the music industry and everything I know about it and heighten it, and take inspirations from films that both me and Sam love – it was really our love for music,” he revealed.

“Can we create somebody who is trying to find themselves,The “Creepin’” hitmaker continued. “Using my experiences, using his experiences, using Lily’s experiences on creating something special, daring and exciting, and fun that will make people laugh and p### some people off?”

Snoop Dogg Backs Ice Cube: ‘No Vaseline’ The Best Diss Song Of All Time

Of all the memorable diss tracks emcees have unleashed on each other over the years, Ice Cube says his scathing 1991 song “No Vaseline” is the best of them all and Snoop Dogg agrees.

The recurring Hip-Hop topic came up during a recent episode on the Earn Your Leisure podcast, with Cube stating that no other song comes close to topping his diss to his former NWA bandmates Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, MC Ren, and DJ Yella, along with their manager Jerry Heller.

The hosts suggested Ice Cube has one of the best battle songs of all time, but Ice Cube wasn’t feeling that description. “The top battle song ever,” he swiftly interjected before repeating his assertion. When the presenter questioned his claim to the top spot, Ice Cube remained undeterred.

“It’s not even close,” he added confidently before listing the other tracks in his Top 5.

Tupac, Nas, Boogie Down Productions, and Kool Moe Dee all got a mention alongside “No Vaseline,” in his rankings.

“I mean, I would go with, you know, ‘Hit ‘Em Up’ is a good one,” he said. “‘Ether’ is dope. I would go with ‘The Bridge Is Over,’ and I don’t know, I think I gotta go with ‘Let’s Go,’” Ice Cube added.

Snoop Dogg Says Ice Cube’s “No Vaseline” Is “Hands Down” The Top Diss Track

Although hosts Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings seemed surprised by the assertion, Snoop Dogg agrees with Ice Cube. “No Vaseline” target Dr. Dre co-founded Death Row Records a year after Ice Cube’s diss, with Snoop Dogg joining the label a year later.

Despite the history, the new Death Row Records honcho backed Ice Cube’s claim to the title. When AllHipHop shared a clip of the interview, Snoop Dogg jumped in the comments section to co-sign “No Vaseline” as the No. 1 diss. “Hands down he does,” Snoop wrote. “Nothing comes close 🐾🐾🔥👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿💣”

Nicki Minaj Says She Wrote Her “Pound Town 2” Verse In A Few Hours

Nicki Minaj began trending once the news was out, but her most diehard fans were already in the know. She emailed the Barbz revealing the collab, calling it, ‘A lil sum sum that I know we gon turn up to on tour.” She also let slip that she wrote the verse in just over three hours and warned that she made the already explicit song even more raunchy.

“I’m so excited for this dope new collaboration. I ain’t get this ratchet in a minute chile!!!” she penned.

“I met with Sexyy Red & found her to be so down to earth and sweet” Nicki said before adding, “I couldn’t hear myself on this song at first but once I let go & decided to just have fun with a bad b!ch, I ended up LOVING how it came out!” Listen to Nicki Minaj on “Pound Town 2” at the end of the page.

One of the most quoted lines on the original track was Sexyy Red’s “My coochie pink, my booty-hole brown.” She said her entire verse was all off the dome, her first-ever freestyle, and addressed her explicit lyrics.

“When I’m rapping, I just say stuff about myself. I’ll describe anything,” she explained to Complex earlier this month. “If I’ve got some tight nails on, I’m going to say something about my nails or my outfit. So I was really out of town, thugging with my rounds, and then I’m like, ‘My coochie pink, my booty-hole brown.’ It was true! So I said it.”

Adidas Granted Secret Court Order Freezing $75M Of Kanye West’s Yeezy Funds

Adidas was quietly granted a legal action last year that froze $75 million in bank accounts held by Kanye West’s Yeezy brand.

According to unsealed court documents shared by Law360, Adidas filed the case on Nov. 11 in the wake of Ye’s antisemitism scandal and weeks after the sportswear giant publicly announced they severed ties with the rapper. Kanye West was denied the opportunity to respond to the filing as the order was made on an ex-parte basis.

Whilst the case was withheld from the public, Ye confirmed the news in an interview last year.

“The reason why I’m announcing that I’m running for president is I want the FCC to look at my money,” Kaye West stated on Nov. 22. “If they actually see, I was looking at my money, and there might have been a possibility that Adidas wouldn’t have went into JP Morgan and froze my account and put a $75 million hold on four different accounts.”

Ye continued, “I went from being a multi-billionaire to not even being able to use my Apple Pay four nights ago. I couldn’t use my Apple Pay because somehow Adidas was able to legally go in and freeze my money, and when I see this, I think, well, if this could happen to me, this could happen to other Americans, and for what? You know this can happen to an American that didn’t even steal anything, that didn’t even hurt anyone. This could just happen to you for saying the wrong idea out loud.”

Adidas took legal action to prevent Kanye West from moving funds while they attempted to come to an agreement in private arbitration.

“Petitioner has demonstrated that it has satisfied the grounds for an ex parte attachment because the court is satisfied that there is risk that Yeezy will remove or dissipate assets if notice of this request for attachment is given to Yeezy,” Judge Valerie E. Caproni writes in the November 11th order.

Judge Caproni unsealed the documents earlier this month stating the records no longer need to be sealed as Kanye West publicly discussed the ruling. Ye is currently fighting to have the ruling overturned.

Raz B Placed On 72-Hour Hold After Threatening To Jump Off Hotel Roof

Fans of B2K are worried about group member Raz B after he smashed a hotel window and climbed onto a roof, prompting a response from first responders fearing he was going to jump.

The incident occurred on Thursday (May 25) in Kansas City, following an unsettling video Raz B posted on Instagram the previous night, in which he expressed feelings of insecurity and fear for his life.

Raz B had claimed to be at a Hilton hotel in Kansas City on Wednesday night (May 24). In a post that left his followers worried, the singer noted that he was “fighting to stay alive” and expressed reluctance to undergo surgery in the city.

He also posted an address of a Kansas City hospital, hinting at possible health issues.

Concerns about Raz B’s well-being escalated when a video surfaced showing the singer on the roof of the hospital. The video, obtained by TMZ, shows shocked onlookers watching the scene unfold from across the way.

Law enforcement arrived at the scene at Saint Luke’s Hospital around 10:20 AM on Thursday, responding to calls from off-duty officers and hospital security. They found that a window had been broken, apparently to facilitate Raz B’s climb to the roof.

Given the precarious situation, there were fears that Raz B might jump off the ledge. In response, the fire department placed mats below, preparing for the worst-case scenario.

A police negotiator successfully persuaded Raz B to come back inside through the window, where he was immediately treated by medical staff. The unsettling incident has left fans deeply concerned about Raz B’s condition, with many expressing their worries on social media.

Raz B has been placed on a 72-hour hold by Kansas City police, according to his brother Ricky Romance.

At present, the singer’s condition remains unclear. Representatives for Raz B have been contacted for comment but have not yet provided any update.

Illseed’s Quickies: From Quando Rondo To Andre 3000 To Kevin Gates

Let us just get this out of the way. Andre 3000 enjoys the flute more than rapping right now. Yes, André 3000, also known as André Benjamin, a member of the hip-hop duo Outkast, a Rap God, is known for his affinity for playing the flute. You might not remember but he played the instrument on the group’s (really a solo hit) “Roses” Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. That was 20 years ago, folks. André 3000’s flute playing has become a social media hotbed, because it seems to always garner him attention. We have another sighting. This time Japan.

https://twitter.com/nfr_podcast/status/1661604276571893763?

It seems like Quando Rondo has done a lot of growing. People are praising him for taking a bunch of trauma and pain and turning it into something positive. Still, that does not stop him from doing his interview with “Off The Porch” in a remote, more secure location. Basically, he did his interview in a dark blue room. If you so care, check it out. This. is a far cry from the leaked record by Lil Durk. On another note, Durk has shown a lot of growth too.

They tried to put dirt on my bro Kevin Gates’s name! Well, damn it, that man is not the man you thought he was. He has evolved considerably. So, even when you try to say he’s gay or something like that, he’s got a highly-evolved response for you suckers. But there is also some street stuff mixed in here, where they are calling him a snitch. If he had not addressed it, I probably could have looked past it. Check out what he says.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Csn_QjVLAQP/?hl=en

So, here are more details and context.

During a recent interview, Lilah Gibney, a transgender woman, shared her ALLEGED experience involving Gates. Lilah stated that she engages in direct messages with famous rappers for the sole aim of getting money from the. According to her account, she went on a dinner date with the Louisiana rapper and even ordered caviar for the first time. This human being says Gates took her back to his home and introduced her to his wife, Dreka Gates. That’s interesting. That would mean his wife would be able to corroborate or deny this. Anyway, she says they retreated to his room for “doing the do” and revealed her transgender status with him. She said that the rapper noticed her “differences,” but that did not stop them from doing it. He blocked her afterwards. Be very clear, I am rocking with the soldier on this rather than somebody with all sorts of motive to lie on him. I won’t even even post the interview.

I will post OUR interview with the good brother Gates!

Takeoff Murder Case: Rapper’s Alleged Killer Indicted By Grand Jury

A grand jury indicted Patrick Xavier Clark, the man accused of killing Takeoff, for murder on Thursday (May 25).

Takeoff was shot and killed at a Houston bowling alley in November 2022. Authorities arrested Clark and charged him with murder in December 2022.

Clark spent roughly a month in jail before he was released on a $1 million bond in January. He was placed on house arrest and ordered to wear a GPS monitoring device.

Police said Takeoff was an innocent bystander when gunfire erupted at a private party in Houston. Multiple people fired shots after his uncle Quavo got involved in an argument over a dice game.

Clark allegedly shot Takeoff during the confrontation. Two other people were injured but survived the shooting.

Fellow Migos member Offset struggled to cope with Takeoff’s death. Offset revealed his emotional distress in a recently published interview with Variety.

“It’s hard for me to talk about s### right now,” Offset said. “I’ve never talked about this stuff. Seriously. Talking about Take is hard, man. Talking about all this s### is hard. That’s why I don’t, to be honest. That s### hurts. Like, it’s gonna put me in a mood, and I don’t want to get in that mood. Some things I don’t never tell nobody. He’s not here. That s### feels fake, bro. I get through my day thinking it’s fake. And I don’t say nothing to nobody about it.”

Clark is scheduled to be arraigned on August 23. He maintains his innocence in the Takeoff murder case.

California Rapper Lul G Sentenced To 21 Years In Prison For Fatal Shooting

A California rapper is about to spend the next two decades in prison for a deadly shooting that happened in 2019 when he was 20 years old.

The artist had a promising future signing with Def Jam and even performed on the “Black Panther” film soundtrack in 2018, a project curated by Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar.

According to The Reporter, Vallejo rapper Lul G, whose real name is George Harris, pleaded no contest to shooting Rashied Flowers, 26, to death on Mar. 2.

On May 24, he received his sentence while standing before a judge in Department 9 in the Justice Center in Fairfield.

Solano County Superior Court Judge Carlos R. Gutierrez sentenced the rapper to 21 years in prison after receiving a pre-sentencing report.

Originally Lul G faced a first-degree murder charge, with the personal use of a firearm during the shooting enhancement. But he took a plea deal in an effort to swerve a 25 to life sentence, plus additional time for the felonious firearm charge.

The sentence was already predetermined during the plea deal and he received the appropriate amount of time for a voluntary manslaughter conviction.

Currently, the chart-topper is in custody at the  Stanton Correctional Facility in Fairfield but will be transferred soon to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. No word on if this is where he will spend the rest of his time in custody.

Kim K Launches New Season Of Reality Show Blasting Kanye West For Spreading Lies On Her Mother

Kim Kardashian is gearing up to premiere her new episode of her family’s#### HULU reality show, “The Kardashians.” Like seasons before, she is launching the first episode with a storyline centering on Kanye West.

Page Six reported, on the new season’s first episode, she spazzed out about Yeezy for spreading false information about her momager Kris Jenner and the infamous sex tape she made with R&B singer, Ray J.

She is tired of having to “stay silent.”

In a conversation with her mother, the billionaire explained, “There’s been a lot going on with Kanye right now and things are going on in the media, radio shows, and interviews.”

“Even through all of the craziness of everything Kanye says about us like I never comment,” she said. “I never post, like he has made up the most insane narrative about you and the [sex] tape.

“We stay silent,” she continued. “We stay silent through all the lies, all the stuff.”

As AllHipHop.com has reported, Ye has been on a rampage against the Skims owner and her family since the two have broken up.

He has said the family has worked to keep him from his children and that Jenner in particular has pimped out her daughters.

In 2022, he shared apparent text messages between him and Kim, including one said to be from Kris, asking him to quit.

“Don’t let Kris make you do playboys like she made Kyle [sic] and Kim do,” Kanye penned. “Hollywood is a giant brothel pornography destroyed my family. I deal with the addiction Instagram promises it.”

He added, “Not gonna let it happen to Northy and Chicago.”

Kanye West also shared a message said to be from Kris Jenner. “Tell him to please stop mentioning my name. I’m almost 67 years old and I don’t always feel great and this stresses me to no end,” it read.

On Season 3, Episode 1 of the reality show, Kardashian continued to say as she sobbed, “All of his shenanigans, I don’t know what the f–k to call them, is gonna be far more damaging to the kids one day than my tape will ever be and I have to sit here and not say anything ever because I know one day my kids will appreciate that.”

The two share four children: North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4.

Then she brought up the Drake rumors that her husband started to spread,

“I can’t wrap my head around how he thinks he is a protector,” she questioned, before saying Ye, who is allegedly remarried to Bianca Censori, has been pushing the Champagne Papi narrative the “whole marriage.”

“I am f–king exhausted,” she continued. “I just want to lose it once. I want to have a bad day, and I can’t. I can’t even be overwhelmed and have a bad day because no one else has their s–t together.

“I don’t want to be part of this narrative,” she said right before she finally resolved, “I’m stuck with this for the rest of my life.”

The show is not filmed in real-time. These comments were made during the time, West was spiraling out of control, losing billions of dollars after making outlandish remarks about George Floyd and Jewish people.

Willow Smith Receives RIAA’s First-Ever NFT Plaque

Willow Smith, professionally known by the mononymous name Willow, scored a hit record as a preteen with “Whip My Hair” in 2010. Thirteen years later, the 22-year-old singer makes RIAA history.

The Recording Industry Association of America announced Willow as the first recipient of an NFT accolade from the trade organization. The plaque features artwork commissioned by the LA-raised performer, Roc Nation, and Infinite Objects.

“I am beyond grateful to have the opportunity to engage in the sacred process that is music. BIG LOVE to RIAA and Infinite Objects! I am so honored to be able to celebrate these milestones in such an innovative way,” says Willow.

The Recording Industry Association of America’s NFT plaque recognizes Willow’s “Whip My Hair” (3x-Platinum), “Wait A Minute!” (2x-Platinum), “Meet Me At Our Spot” (2x-Platinum), and “Transparent Soul” featuring Travis Barker (Platinum).

“RIAA has celebrated artists and their label teams through the Gold & Platinum program for the last 65 years as the industry has constantly evolved,” says Erin D. D. Burr, RIAA’s VP of Media Relations, Gold & Platinum Awards.

Burr continues, “We are excited to announce this innovative new way to recognize official certifications as Willow accepts the first-ever NFT plaque. We’re grateful to Roc Nation and Infinite Objects for this creative collaboration.”

The authenticated Infinite Objects Video Print display will also automatically change the song’s artwork when the RIAA updates Willow’s certifications. Plus, Roc Nation presented the NFT on the OpenSea marketplace.

“Roc Nation takes pride in leaning into new and innovative technology. We’re so excited to present the first-ever RIAA certification to be minted on the blockchain and presented on an authenticated NFT plaque to celebrate Willow,” states Roc Nation’s Chief Digital Officer David Wander and SVP of Digital Operations Luca Zanello.
