Yelawolf Explains His Role In Infamous Eminem & Machine Gun Kelly Beef

Yelawolf was a recent guest on Drink Champs, where he opened up about his relationship with Eminem and his time with Shady Records. During the conversation with co-hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, the Slumerican founder explained how he inadvertently sparked the infamous beef between Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly in 2018.

As Wolf recalls, Three 6 Mafia member DJ Paul wanted to get Eminem, Machine Gun Kelly and Yelawolf on a song together, but it didn’t exactly work out. Unbeknownst to Wolf, Eminem was sitting on an MGK diss that was included on the Kamikaze single “Not Alike.”

“I can’t say I was fully blind to it,” Wolf begins. “There was something in the air. But DJ Paul, my brother, we were in Nashville working on Trunk Muzik III. He was like, ‘Yo, I got this rowdy beat. If I could get you, Kellz and Marshall on this s###, it would be out of here. It would be the three craziest white boys on a record that’s ever been heard.’ That was his whole thing. I was like, ‘Man, f### it. Let’s go.’ So I laid my verse and I sent it to Kellz, and Kellz was super excited about it.”

He continues, “I recorded it, Kellz recorded his verse, sent it to Marshall and crickets. Crickets for months. I didn’t know there was a diss record coming. I was on Shady at the time. And I’ve got this record coming out on Shady. It’s a thing. It’s a Shady release. He puts this diss record out. I have no clue. He didn’t say s### to anyone. I’m sitting here with this record, it’s me, Paul and Kellz. I was like, ‘Oh man, what the f### am I going to do?’ Within an hour of it hitting the internet, Kellz FaceTimes me and I picked up the FaceTime and Kellz is just shaking his head like, ‘Nah, man.'”

Yelawolf was caught in the middle but didn’t dissuade Machine Gun Kelly not to reply to the diss. He also couldn’t promise it wouldn’t affect his then-blossoming friendship with MGK.

“Do what you do,” he says. “I guess if you wanna man up and go there, then go there. But I can’t tell you what’s going to happen with you and me. This may turn into a problem with me. I was like, ‘Dawg.’ I was with Shady, so if the general says go, you go. That’s my gang. I was Shady Records.

“I finally got Marshall on the phone. … I was in Toronto. This was after he released the record and MGK drops his s###. He said something about, ‘Don’t take me off Yelawolf album.’ I called Marshall and said, ‘Listen man, I like this song I got with Kellz.’ I had a beef with Kellz early, early on.’ I addressed it on Bootleg Kev, like if you want it, let’s go. But I met him, we handled it, we squashed it and it was all good. That was years ago…we’ve since become good friends. I asked Marshall, ‘What do you want me to do?’ He said to me, ‘Put that s### out. People need to hear it.’ He respected my career during all of this.”

The fallout between Eminem and MGK began in 2012, when Machine Gun Kelly tweeted about Eminem’s daughter Hailie, saying she was “hot” despite her being only 16 at the time. The comment reportedly upset Eminem and, as a result, MGK made several veiled references to Eminem in his music and interviews, suggesting Eminem had tried to blackball him in the industry.

After “Not Alike,” MGK responded with “Rap Devil” in which he took shots at Eminem’s age, career and personality. It was unclear if Eminem would respond, but surprisingly he did. “Killshot” arrived shortly after and found Eminem dissecting MGK’s career, personality and his attempts to gain relevance by attacking him. The feud brought considerable publicity to both artists. MGK leveraged the attention to further his career, diversifying into rock music with his album Ticket to My Downfall.

Donald Trump Proceeding With Michigan Rally Despite Recent Assassination Attempt

Donald Trump is holding a significant rally in Michigan, a state crucial for any presidential hopeful due to its historical role as a battleground in U.S. elections. The rally takes place in Grand Rapids on Saturday (July 20) and is part of his campaign strategy as he seeks the Republican nomination for the 2024 presidential race.

He’s expected to discuss key issues such as the economy, immigration and his vision for “Make America Great Once Again” initiative. The event comes just one week after Pennsylvania resident Thomas Crooks attempted to assassinate Trump as he was speaking in Butler.

The attempt was thwarted by the Secret Service and local law enforcement, who have since increased security measures around the former president. The details of the plot remain under investigation, but it underscores the ongoing threats faced by high-profile political figures. The attempt has garnered widespread media attention, raising questions about the security protocols in place for such events and the persistent risks in the current political climate.

Supporters have rallied around Trump, expressing their solidarity and condemning the violence. Trump himself has addressed the incident, using it to highlight issues of law and order and to criticize his political opponents for what he perceives as their role in fostering a divisive environment. The incident has added a new layer of intensity to the rally, as both Trump and his supporters view it as a pivotal moment in their campaign against perceived threats and opposition.

Despite the heightened security concerns, Trump’s Michigan rally is expected to proceed as planned, with additional measures to ensure the safety of all attendees. The event will be closely watched not only for Trump’s rhetoric and policy announcements but also for the broader implications it holds for his campaign and the 2024 presidential race.

The rally serves as a testament to Trump’s resilience and his commitment to engaging directly with his supporters, even in the face of significant challenges. The assassination attempt and its fallout have only heightened the stakes, making this rally a focal point in the unfolding political narrative.

Cardi B Ruthlessly Trolls Critic Of Raunchy New Video Promoting Rob49 Collab

Cardi B made headlines earlier this week after lashing out at Joe Budden in a heated rant, and now she’s delivered a tongue-lashing to critics of a risqué new video.

On Friday (July 19), Cardi’s collab with Rob49, “On Dat Money,” arrived accompanied by a music video. While the official visuals feature Cardi cruising in a convertible with the New Orleans artist and writhing around on a bed of money with handfuls of bills preserving her modesty, the NYC rapper showed off her cakes in a social media video.

In the new visual, Cardi B raps her verse in a tiny dress that scarcely covers her bootylicious behind. Ramping up the sexy, Cardi mounts a massage table while twerking and bares her cakes as she bounces on a sofa.

However, her raunchy display irked some social media users, including one who said, “I would hate to open my app and see my wife like this.”

Cardi B was quick to respond, clapping back with a photo of the user. “I would hate for my husband hairline to recede like this but here we are,” she replied.

Another user appeared to reference comments Cardi B made last year after hopping on Kay Flock’s “Shake It.”

The user described the song as “not bad,” but added, “it kinda confirms her label/fans still pushing her this direction. She’ll find her balance soon I trust.”

The “Wanna Be” hitmaker rejected the critique, replying, “That video was a joke babes.”

Last April, Cardi B said songs like the Bronx Drill anthem “Shake It” are “activating these demons that I killed.” She continued, claiming she didn’t want to be “that old Cardi” anymore and left that “lifestyle” behind her.

However, Cardi appeared to be trolling and later deleted the voice note.

Russ & Yella Beezy Speak Positivity Into Bronny James’ NBA Role Amid Summer League Criticism

Russ is calling out the critics who have harshly judged the former USC hooper during his NBA Summer League debut.

In a comment he shared on an Instagram post with highlights from his recent summer league outing, Russ reacted to Bronny scoring 12 pts on 5-11 shooting from the field and 2-5 from 3-pt range, including the game-tying bucket, in the Lakers first team win in the competition out in Las Vegas.

It’s worth noting Bronny and the Lakers were also playing without first-round pick Dalton Knect, who was the number 17 pick in the NBA Draft, and had been largely touted as the better draftee of the two selections the Lakers organization made.

“Go figure,” Russ wrote. “The most scrutinized under a microscope 55th pick ever needed a couple games to get settled lol.”

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

Russ’ assessment of Bronny’s games follows a torrent of negative remarks from sports analysts and professional athletes who have criticized his skillset and deduced he is not ready to play in the NBA based on his performance this summer so far.

Fox Sports 1 network host Emmanuel Acho mentioned that Bronny “struggled to assert himself,” early on in his NBA Summer League debut and the Boston Celtic’s star Jaylen Brown was caught on camera allegedly remarking that he didn’t believe Bronny was ready to be a “Pro.”

Interestingly enough, Bronny and Jaylen’s field goal attempts and percentage were almost identical in their respective summer debuts. Bronny actually bests Jaylen by a small margin, shooting 6-26 from the field while the NBA champion shot 5-26 through his first three NBA summer games in 2016.

Coincidentally, Russ isn’t the only rapper who thinks Bronny just needs some time to settle into his NBA journey, considering Dallas hitmaker Yella Beezy expressed similar sentiments during his appearance with Skip Bayless on UNDISPUTED prior to Bronny’s double-digit scoring outing in Las Vegas.

“See that’s exactly why I go back to this comparison thing, like, a lot of things they are going to criticize him on, he still has the room to grow into,” Beezy said when asked if Bronny could play the role of a point guard like his father LeBron James. “Even if you think he can’t at this time, I’m pretty sure in the season, like, I can see a breakout season for him. It may not be this year or next year but, I could see him having like a good season. He’s still young.”

Check out the post below for Yella Beezy’s prediction for Bronny’s upcoming NBA debut.

Lupe Fiasco Reviving Child Rebel Soldier Without Kanye West & Pharrell

Lupe Fiasco decided to turn Child Rebel Soldier into a solo project. The lyricist discussed plans to resurrect CRS without fellow members Kanye West and Pharrell in an interview with Stereogum.

“It kept getting lost in the sauce and there was a realization that this was not gonna happen,” Lupe said regarding his CRS supergroup. “People kept putting it on me, and it’s like, ‘Hey, it ain’t me.’ Pharrell is at Louis Vuitton, Ye is in some f###### factory somewhere pumping out socks. So, I’m like f### it, I’m gonna reboot CRS in the next six months, maybe next year … but it’s gonna go back to the original energy, which was me rapping over Radiohead beats.”

CRS developed from Lupe’s idea to remake Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke’s album The Eraser for a mixtape. Lupe produced a song titled “Us Placers” sampling the album’s title track. He recruited Kanye and Pharrell for “Us Placers,” which became CRS’ debut single in 2007.

The supergroup fizzled out after releasing a second single called “Don’t Stop” in 2010. Years later, Lupe still wanted to bring his vision for CRS to life.

“It’s this weird relationship, because it’s kind of like, do I put it out as freestyles because I’ll never be able to clear those records?” he said. “I’ve always wanted to do an album with their producer, Nigel Godrich, [so] do I go work with Nigel? I know I’m not gonna be able to work with Radiohead and do an album with them, that s###’s pie in the sky.

“I’ll just go back to that original [vibe], just go back and find those dope loops and samples from Radiohead or their solo records, loop the s### up and make little beats out of it and crush with some dope ass lyrics. I’ll either do some loosie freestyle s### or a proper tape, get sued for it, and keep it moving. You can take those records, the ‘National Anthem’ record, ‘Us Placers’ and ‘Animal Pharm,’ as the first three singles. You’ll probably get another five or six.”

Lupe Fiasco released his latest album Samurai in June. The eight-track project was entirely produced by his longtime collaborator Soundtrakk.

Are Democrats Secretly Hating On VP Kamala Harris?

There’s been a lot of talk about Joe Biden lately. It seems there’s some unrest within the Democratic Party. Many of Biden’s one-time supporters are no longer backing him after he fumbled a few words and caught COVID. Some are calling for him to drop out of the race immediately, potentially letting someone else step in. Many believe he’s simply too old and that his cognitive skills have declined significantly.

But that’s just the surface. Underneath, there’s something else brewing. This confirms something I’ve suspected all along, though it’s not yet publicly verified. Word around Washington D.C. is that those Democrats aren’t truly against Biden. What they fear is the possibility of a Black female president. Many secretly doubt Biden will complete a full term, which means VP Kamala Harris would become president. And that scares even the left side of the political aisle.

America has a long-standing problem with sexism and racism. If you’re a Black woman, you face a double dose of discrimination. It’s crazy because Kamala Harris has been the vice president for nearly four years. Her role is to step in as president if needed, so you’d think she’s ready for the job!

Meanwhile, amidst all this chaos within the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, aka the MAGA party, is leading in the polls. That’s some serious hate! If they push Kamala Harris out, they risk alienating Black America, especially Black women. This could hand the election to Donald Trump. Project 2025 would roll us back decades to a time when equality was even more elusive.

It’s disheartening to see the Democratic Party acting as badly as the Republicans – allegedly. We know they’re not the same. Joe Biden recently canceled billions in student loans for some really lucky folks!

By the way, Hakim Green from Channel Live wrote an article for us discussing his personal feelings about the election. It’s a great read that shows how the Biden-Harris administration has helped him personally.

Vanilla Ice Didn’t Approve Of Amber Rose Using “Ice Ice Baby” For Pro-Trump Song

Vanilla Ice apparently wasn’t onboard with Amber Rose and MAGA rapper Forgiato Blow’s pro-Donald Trump anthem, “Trump Trump Baby.”

According to TMZ, the “Ice Ice Baby” rapper, who still co-owns the rights to the 1990 mega-hit, didn’t approve of the track being used for GOP purposes. The song also wasn’t cleared by the publishing company that also holds rights to it. Consequently, “Trump Trump Baby” was yanked off YouTube.

Vanilla Ice, real name Robert Van Winkle, reportedly isn’t bothered by the spoof either, noting he’s not concerned with politics. He admits he isn’t voting and never has. He mentioned he’s friends with Trump as well and has been a Florida neighbor of his for years.

“Trump Trump Baby” featured Amber Rose starring alongside Forgiato Blow as an ode to Trump and a takedown of Joe Biden’s presidency.

The single featured lines such as, “Democrat party going to take your freedom/Indictin’ our president ’cause they can’t beat him” and “The media is the enemy of the people/The Democrats and the fakes news always be cheatin’.” Among the song’s refrains are “FJB” (f### Joe Biden) and its euphemism “let’s go Brandon.”

Forgiato Blow is known for his support of Trump and his association with the MAGA movement. Raised in South Florida, he comes from a wealthy background linked to the Auto Trader publishing empire. He began his music career in 2013 but gained significant attention with his pro-Trump song “Silver Spoon” in 2016. His music often addresses cultural and political topics, reflecting his conservative views.

Amber Rose, who spoke at the Republican National Convention earlier this week, has faced significant backlash for endorsing Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential election. The model and TV personality, known for her advocacy on women’s rights, LGBTQ+ issues and anti-racism, shocked many by posting a photo with Trump and expressing her support for his campaign. The move was particularly surprising given her past criticisms of Trump, where she labeled him an “idiot” and a “sexual predator.”

Fans and critics pointed out the contradiction between Rose’s endorsement and her advocacy work. Trump has been associated with policies and remarks that are seen as harmful to women’s rights and communities of color.

Amber Rose attempted to justify her stance by suggesting that Trump offers more reasonable compromises on certain issues compared to other politicians. However, her arguments have done little to quell the controversy, leading many to question the sincerity of her endorsement and its impact on her credibility as an advocate.

Pusha T, Busta Rhymes, D Smoke & More Send Blxst Love And Support Following Home Burglary

Blxst is speaking out after a burglary occurred at his home, disturbing and frightening his family and causing him to feel helplessly frustrated while touring abroad.

In a recent emotional Instagram post, recording artist Blxst shared security camera footage of that his home being burglarized while his family occupied it as he’s on the other side of the country. Though the video was black and white, three men can clearly be seen breaching a rear patio glass door at Blxst’s home before gaining entry inside.

It’s unclear how long the men were inside, however the minute-long video does capture their exit, showing the assailants running out of the home with a few sacks of unknown property they presumably took while inside. In the caption of the post he shared, Blxst vented his anger with the burglary suspects, remarking on the harrowing fashion he was alerted of the incident in the process.

“The level of strength it take to not crash out rn smh,” Blxst started off. “Imagine being across the country away from my family during one of the heights of my career & waking up to my son face timing at 4am saying ‘I think bad guys are in the house,’” he wrote, expressing the shock and helplessness he felt.

Blxst then highlighted the emotional toll the burglary has taken on him while also calling on his fans and supporters to keep his family in their prayers.

“Words can’t express the frustration & the emptiness in my heart and soul not being able to be there to protect my boys,” he said. “God know my heart… why play with mine? I take pride in being humble and pure but to be honest idk who to trust.”

Despite the ordeal, he expressed gratitude that his family was safe: “I’m just glad my family good overall. Thank GOD I’m in position to go to war and willing to die behind mine… PRAY FOR MY FAMILY.”

In the comments section of the original post Blxst shared, countless artists from E-40 and Ty Dolla $ign and Jason Martin (Problem), to Busta Rhymes and Pusha T, and more, showed their support for Blxst as he continues to process the stressful incident.

“The Blessings don’t stop King,” Busta wrote in his comment.

Pusha T shared Blxst’s frustrations over the incident, adding, “I can’t imagine…” while the “Never Enough” vocalist’s fellow Los Angeles native D Smoke offered words of encouragement in his coment, writing, “Prayers up bro.”

Unfortunately, Blxst is not alone in experiencing such a traumatic event. In recent years, several high-profile recording artists and celebrities have been targeted by burglars. Rapper Drake had his Los Angeles home broken into while he was on tour, with the intruder making off with valuable items. Similarly, Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s mansion was targeted, though the thieves were caught before they could steal anything significant.

Additionally, last month, Marlon Wayans spoke out after two intruders entered his home late at night through a rear window in a robbery attempt that was discovered when employees arrived in the morning and found the place ransacked. Marlon shared a similar post on Instagram after the fact, addressing the “ROBBERS and OTHERS” in the caption of the post with a PSA.

“I am the WRONG N* to ROB. Save your energy,” Marlon wrote. “Sorry, i live a simple life with 2 cats and one of them is a 1994 Range Rover, you will need a jumpstart if you steal it cuz the battery is dead. Robbers don’t waste your energy or your life doing home invasions, s### is too heavy!!!

“You want to carry all that b#######? Throw your back out, and for what?! I repeat I don’t own s### valuable. I don’t have a bunch of cash or jewelry. Please pick a better [target] thank you and love you… still.”

Latto On Ice Spice & Potential Rap Battle: “Would She Even Want To Do That?”

The beef between Ice Spice and Latto may not even get the chance to materialize into a proper rap beef, based on the “Big Mama” rapper’s recent assessment of the situation and her adversary.

During her recent cover story interview with Billboard, Latto briefly spoke on the rap beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, providing her opinion on the situation at large in addition to revealing her thoughts on how it impacts rap.

In the process, the Atlanta-bred rapper ended up speaking on her beef with the Y2K! rapper, which has been chronicled by the pair trading subliminal shots on records such as Ice Spices “Think You The S##t (Fart)” and Latto’s “Sunday Service.” However, in a seemingly surprising response, Latto appeared to dead the idea that she and Ice Spice would ever actually be involved in a back-and-forth rap battle like Drake and Kendrick were.

“If I was to do [a battle], it would have to be with somebody I feel like Imma go t## for tat with,” Latto said. “I really don’t mean it as shade. Would she even want to do that? I feel like she’s doing her in her lane. It’s two different types of vibes. I don’t even think she gives me like, ‘Oh, she wants to engage in an actual rap beef.'”

Latto explained her opinion on sneak disses and why they’re something completely different than an actual battle, which she further speculated Ice Spice would likely not want to take part in.

“Everybody gon’ take their lil jabs in the music, and it’s not even that serious to me; I feel like you should do that,” she said. “Continue to! But as far as actual whole dis records to each other, I don’t think she would even want to do that. I feel like… would it even make sense? It wouldn’t.”

Over the course of the past few months, Ice Spice and Latto have publicly challenged each other both in real life and social media, causing fans to pick sides and exacerbate the beef. Back in January, Ice Spice called Latto out after she released a video snippet for “Sunday Service” featuring a clip that shows Ice Spice on a television screen in the background as she raps, “I just want a one-on-one, don’t know why she’s so nervous.”

In a Twitter Spaces conversation, Ice Spice addressed the snippet, saying, “Why am I seeing that I’m in the back of your weak-ass snippet? I was like, ‘Wait a second, that’s me?’ So I’m like, ‘Since we’re talking about me, let’s talk about me.’ And I dropped [‘Fart’].”

Most recently, the feuding rappers were both on the bill at the BET Awards on Sunday night (June 30), with Ice Spice performing her Latto diss “Think U the S### (Fart).” Despite the fact that Latto was getting ready to perform, she was watching while her rival was onstage, and she had a message for Ice Spice.

“Ho! B####, I’m the muthafuckin stankiest fart you ever smelled,” she said in a video.

A Classic Rap Artist Explains Why He’s Riding With Joe Biden

Hakim Green, a rapper who scored a hit record in the 1990s, explains why he is voting for Joe Biden and why you should too.

In my younger adult years, my friends regarded me as the ultimate conspiracy theorist. In the nineties and early 2000s, I completely went down the rabbit hole, which led me to totally disengage from electoral politics. I viewed politics, especially the politics of the Democratic Party, as something for slaves. I had my reasons, mostly having to do with the lack of true investment by our government into the concerns of the African American community. For me, the epitome of this fracture was the 1994 Crime Bill, infamously crafted by then-Senator Joe Biden. Politics, just like history itself, is dictated by time and circumstance and is shaped by relationships and leverage. This is something I learned in my support of the campaign for Newark, NJ, Mayor Ras J. Baraka. Supporting his campaign gave birth to 24HRS Of Peace, an annual peace festival that I’ve had the honor of co-founding, in the heart of the city of Newark, NJ. It is also the perfect example of how local government can be responsible to the community it serves in creative ways. Working with Mayor Baraka’s office, I got to see close-up how political power is created on the local level.

Over time, the Democratic Party has become “the big tent party,” meaning there is more room for varying ideas, different approaches, and a multitude of political alliances coming from local districts. In contrast, the Republican Party, unlike the Democratic Party and America itself, is pretty much monolithic in thought and approach. Something former Republican congressman Kevin McCarthy noted by saying, “The Democratic Party looked like America.” This could surely be the result of America’s first elected Black President, Barack Obama. As we look back on history, we can see the seeds of that victory being planted by the relationship between Dr. Martin Luther King and President Lyndon B. Johnson, the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1964, and the Civil Rights Act of 1968. This history is what made the election of President Obama a possibility, and his choice for VP, Joe Biden, extremely meaningful.

I often say, “Judge people by what they do, not so much by what they say.” Earlier I mentioned the 1994 crime bill, which, given the horrific results of the “crack era,” was an uneven and unjust approach to a problem created by the Republican Reagan and Bush administrations. To hear Joe Biden acknowledge this huge miscarriage of justice and apologize for his part in it is something you never hear from other leaders. Owning your mistakes and seeking to address them with action is a characteristic we should expect from leaders. Let’s start there. Like most, there are several things about Joe Biden that I don’t care for. However, if we are standing on business, here are some facts that matter when considering the alternative.

President Joe Biden has appointed more Federal Judges of color than any other president.

“The pattern is similar when it comes to judges who are racial or ethnic minorities. Nearly two-thirds of the judges Biden had appointed as of Nov. 5 (96 of 145, or just over 66%) are Black, Hispanic, Asian American, or members of another racial or ethnic minority group. That is far more than any other president had appointed at the same point in their tenure. Trump, for instance, had appointed 22 minority judges by the same stage (14% of his total at the time), while Obama had appointed 42 (37% of his total at the time)” – (Pew Research).

This means so much for the accused. To potentially have a judge who can understand the real living conditions of the accused helps to achieve justice. We’ve become so used to calls for punishment that to hear leadership call for rehabilitation is surprisingly different. Joe Biden’s choosing of a Black woman as his Vice President, along with appointing Ketanji Brown Jackson as the first Black Woman to the Supreme Court, are actions that directly empower Black people by creating points of leverage for that community.

Furthermore, there are several actions taken by President Biden that have benefited my family and I directly. And probably yours too.

As Vice President, he and President Obama gave us The Affordable Care Act, known as Obamacare, which I credit as the reason I can use my left hand. In 2015, three months after signing up for the ACA, I broke my left wrist and needed reconstructive surgery on my hand and wrist. Without “Obamacare,” I would currently be handicapped. The ACA has helped millions of Americans obtain affordable health insurance. No, it’s not perfect, but it should be looked at as a step in the right direction to ensure healthcare for those who need financial assistance, which is most Americans.

A post shared by Hakim Green (@hakimgreen)

In 2022, my wife was notified her student loan debt had been forgiven through President Biden’s loan forgiveness initiative, which freed up nearly $25k for our family and allowed us to purchase our first home. I remember when the economy crashed in 2008/9 and subsequently Wall Street and big business were bailed out by the Obama/Biden administration. Our question was, “What about the little guy, where’s our bailout?” Student loan forgiveness is one of many ways the Biden administration is looking to bail out the little guy. We do not need to end this initiative but expand it to a total student loan cancellation.

I am pro-cannabis because, as you know, “All We Do Is Spark Mad Izm.” President Biden has already rescheduled marijuana, thereby decriminalizing possession, sale, and distribution, which is huge for the cannabis industry. With this booming new industry, it is comforting to know we can engage in legal legitimate commerce versus criminality and economic empowerment versus incarceration.

Also, there is the passing of a $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill. In a world where petty politics rule the day between Democrats and Republicans, it is a miraculous feat that President Biden was able to get this bill passed through a mostly Republican Congress with bipartisan support. This bill will create jobs, and educational opportunities, and help to bring our nation into the future. The Build Back Better Bill and The Chips Act are actions designed to provide for America’s future by investing in the poor and middle class.

These are some of the reasons I am voting for Joe Biden. Like I said before, actions speak louder than words. He’s been able to accomplish all this while obstructionists and naysayers have committed themselves to his downfall and have openly pledged to be steadfast in that sentiment even if it means the entire nation suffers as a result.

More importantly, I am voting for Joe Biden because it is a vote that counts against Donald Trump, who is a threat to America on so many levels. I am using my vote for Joe Biden to reject the agenda of Project 2025. Failure is not an option! This is why I’m voting for Joe Biden!

Megan Thee Stallion Ignores U.K. Tory Lanez Fans—Announces Hurricane Beryl Relief For Elderly

Megan Thee Stallion is opting to ignore negativity being thrown her way, and instead, gathering resources to help positively impact her hometown of Houston amid the current natural disaster response.

According to Us Weekly, Megan Thee Stallion is stepping up with a heartfelt initiative for Houston following the devastating impact of Hurricane Beryl. On Thursday (July 18), the 29-year-old rapper announced that her Pete and Thomas Foundation, which founded by Megan in 2022, is teaming up with Bread of Life Inc. to launch the Emergency Power Program. This program aims to provide generators to senior citizens across Houston, ensuring they have access to electricity during the ongoing natural disaster.

“It’s been painful to watch the elderly population in Houston suffer without electricity during these devastating storms,” Megan stated. “That’s why we wanted to partner with Bread of Life to take a strategic approach to this problem and secure generators to help protect our senior citizens. We need to do our part to provide our elders with the best resources possible to withstand future emergencies.”

In addition to receiving praise from Bread of Life founder Rudy Rasmus for the partnership, which he says is a “dire need” for elderly within the community, NACC Disaster Services also issued a statement thanking Megan and the Pete & Thomas Foundation for distributing gift cards for groceries and other essentials to families affected by Hurrican Beryl.

However, it appears these days no good deed goes undone without some sort or negativity looming over the individual bringing about the change. In the hours before Megan’s foundation announced the relief for senior citizens in Houston, the “Hiss” rapper was accosted on the street following her sold-out tour stop in London at the 02 Arena.

In an Instagram post AllHipHop shared on July 18, a video of an interaction between Megan and a group of unruly fans shows her reaction after being accosted with “Free Tory Lanez” chants while walking the streets following her show. Despite being met with calls for freedom for the rapper convicted for shooting her in the foot, Megan appeared to take the high road by choosing not to respond, while shooting a grimacing look on her face as she passed the hecklers by.

Despite the recent incident in the UK, Megan’s initiative joins the efforts of other Houston Hip-Hop artists like Bun B and Trae Tha Truth, who have been actively helping the community in light of the natural disaster.

Bun B has been involved in fundraising and organizing relief efforts, while Trae Tha Truth, known for his continuous community service via his Relief Gang organization, has been on the ground distributing supplies and providing assistance to those affected by the hurricane. Together, these artists are making a significant impact in their community during these challenging times.

Hurricane Beryl caused massive destruction, leaving 2.7 million people without power and resulting in six heat-related deaths due to the intense Texas summer temperatures. Thousands are still without power over a week after the storm.

SIGNS: Software Update Behind Global Microsoft Outage Affecting Flights, Banks & More

Believe it or not, a routine software update is behind the worldwide mayhem that recently threw businesses, airports, banks and even law enforcement into disarray.

The digital pandemonium began when CrowdStrike, a major cybersecurity company, unwittingly deployed a flawed update. The Austin, Texas-based firm, trusted by businesses and government agencies using Microsoft computers, is now at the center of what might be the largest global IT outage ever recorded.

Ironically, CrowdStrike was simply attempting to protect its clients from cyber threats, and instead became one in the process inadvertently when coding in the software system update clashed with Windows systems.

“The system was sent an update, and that update had a software bug in it and caused an issue with the Microsoft operating system,” CEO George Kurtz explained on the TODAY show. “Our systems are always looking for the latest attacks from these adversaries that are out there.”

The ripple effects of this digital disaster have spared no sector. Airports ground to a halt with flights delayed or canceled en masse as computer systems failed. In the U.S., giants like American Airlines, Delta, and United issued ground stops due to communication breakdowns. From Berlin to Hong Kong, airports witnessed chaotic scenes, with frustrated passengers enduring lengthy delays. One passenger in Hyderabad even shared a picture of a rare sight: a handwritten boarding pass!

Banks have been crippled, leaving customers from Australia to New Zealand locked out of their accounts. Even the London Stock Exchange faced service disruptions, although trading miraculously continued. Retailers weren’t spared either—McDonald’s shut down stores in Japan due to cash register malfunctions, and British grocery chain Waitrose resorted to handwritten cash-only notices.

The chaos extended to shipping, with Baltic Hub in Poland battling operational issues. Law enforcement wasn’t immune either; the Alaska State Troopers reported a temporary 911 outage. Sky News in the UK briefly vanished from the airwaves, highlighting the widespread reach of the catastrophe.

CrowdStrike swiftly identified the glitch and released a fix, but recovery is slow. While some computers updated automatically, others require manual intervention. Companies like New Hampshire’s Department of Safety, whose 911 system briefly crashed, reported being back online by Friday morning. However, for many, it’s a laborious process involving manual rebooting and IT wizardry.

“Many of the customers are rebooting the system, and it’s coming up, and it’ll be operational because we fixed it on our end. Some of the systems that aren’t recovering, we’re working with them. So it could be some time for some systems that just automatically won’t recover,” Kurtz admitted.

This debacle is reminiscent of past tech nightmares. In 2017, the WannaCry ransomware attack wreaked havoc on global systems, paralyzing hospitals and businesses. Just last year, a Facebook outage left billions disconnected for hours, illustrating our dependency on tech giants. As businesses scramble to recover from the latest digital disaster, one thing is clear: in our interconnected world, a single flaw can unleash unprecedented chaos!

50 Cent Reacts To Former NYPD Detective Rejecting Ja Rule’s Order Of Protection Claims

50 Cent shared his reaction to a former NYPD Detective insisting that 50 Cent never cooperated with authorities, despite longstanding rumors to the contrary.

Earlier this year, Ja Rule repeated his accusation that 50 Cent took out an order of protection against Murder. Inc in 2020. However, according to Former NYPD detective Bill Courtney, 50 Cent refused to cooperate.

“50 Cent never cooperated with anybody,” Courtney said on a recent episode of ItsAGTV. “And I would know if he did. I had the whole music industry investigation business locked down, I knew everybody who was talking to everybody. There was no way he cooperated.”

On Thursday (July 18), 50 Cent shared a clip of the podcast on his Instagram page.

“See the facts always come out, I wasn’t raised like that,’ he captioned the post. “I’m not in Preme, killer Rat ass jimmy, or World’s paper work.”

In the podcast, Country addressed the Murder Inc. Records co-founder’s claims that 50 Cent snitched.

“I find it funny that the guys who say he cooperated, namely the Gotti brothers, they did more stupid things to bring heat on them and heat on everybody,” he added. “They did a lot of dumb things and they messed with the wrong guy. He came back; he’s a fighter. You know people got to respect that even if they don’t like 50. He didn’t have any cops protecting him.”

Ja Rule Repeats 50 Cent Order Of Protection Accusation

Back in April, Ja Rule took a jab at 50 while discussing the beef involving Drake and over half a dozen other people.

“G-Unit literally had an ORDER OF PROTECTION against Murder Inc.,” he wrote on X (Twitter). Can you imagine if one of the camps in this beef right now put an order of protection on the other?”

Irv Gotti previously accused 50 Cent of filing an order of protection against him and Ja Rule following a fight at the Hit Factory studios in New York City in 2000. According to reports, the New York Police Department issued the protection order on behalf of 50 Cent, rather than by request.

Meanwhile, earlier this week, 50 Cent teased a Murder Inc. docuseries after a woman filed a lawsuit accusing Irv Gotti of abuse and Sexual assault.

Irv Gotti Denies Abuse & Assault Allegations, Claims Accuser Trying To “Coerce” Money

Irv Gotti is denying a woman’s abuse and sexual assault allegations presented in a new lawsuit and is considering filing a countersuit.

A rep for Gotti claimed the woman, known only as Jane Doe, filed suit after The Murder Inc. Records co-founder refused her demands for cash, per TMZ

According to the rep, the suit “was filed after Mr. Gotti rejected the attempt by this individual to coerce a payment of money from him. The lawsuit contains a single page of ‘facts’ which are unsworn to, sparse by any measure, and which Mr. Gotti categorically denies.”

The unidentified woman filed a lawsuit against Irv Gotti In Florida on July 11, accusing him of sexual assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. She claims Gotti repeatedly abused her during the two years they dated, beginning in 2020. “Gotti coerced Plaintiff into having sex with him,” while on vacation, the lawsuit reads.

The Jane Doe accuser also details multiple examples of the alleged abuse and “unwanted sexual acts.” In one instance, she alleged, “Gotti forced her to perform oral sex on him in an elevator.” Later that same year, “he again forced her to perform oral sex on him in an Uber,” the plaintiff claims. The relationship ended following that event.

“The allegations represent an affront to women who have truly suffered abuse,” Gotti’s rep continued. “Mr. Gotti has been surrounded by strong women the entirety of his life – his mother, five sisters and daughter. The top employees at his company are women. Mr. Gotti’s relationships with women have been characterized by mutual respect, honesty, and empathy. Mr. Gotti’s reputation has been placed at issue.”

In addition to fighting the “baseless” lawsuit in court, the rep revealed Irv Gotti is considering filing a defamation countersuit.

JT Targets Her Rivals On Debut Solo Mixtape “City Cinderella”

JT just dropped off her highly anticipated debut solo mixtape, City Cinderella, and her fans can’t get enough of it.

At midnight on Friday (July 18), JT released the 16-track project, which includes guest appearances from DJ Khaled, Stunna Girl, and CLIP. Jeezy also features on the previously released remix of her hit single “OKAY.”

JT and City Cinderella trended in the top spot on X (Twitter) following its release. While many listeners praised the former City Girls rapper’s lyrical prowess, a few lyrics gained particular attention.

On the tape’s opener, “Intro (Hope)” Fans believe JT targeted Cardi B, referencing viral footage of an X-rated incident onstage with a bottle, which the NYC rapper previously insisted was not her.

“Non-rapping b####, who the f### you talking to?” JT raps. “I was off in Saks, Gucci alligator bags/While you were laying on your back and stuffin’ bottles up your ass.”

Back in 2022, Cardi mocked JT’s jail spell, referring to her as “prison pants” during their incendiary Twitter spat. JT seemingly fired back on “Lemon Pepper” featuring Stunna Girl.

“JT a convicted felon and I’m still on they ass,” she said. “These Rick Owens, boo, these ain’t prison pants.”

And it wasn’t just Cardi B that JT was accused of shading. “Now I’m hated by a b#### with a man voice,” JT raps on “Swang,” a line many believe is directed at GloRilla after the pair exchanged words earlier this year.

JT Explains Why She Made City Cinderella A Mixtape

JT opened up about the project in her recent Paper cover story, clarifying City Cinderella is a mixtape.

“People work on their albums for a year, albums are just different. So City Cinderella is not my first album, being that I made this project so damn fast,” she explained. “I had to create this project throughout the tour and moving around, so I didn’t have time to really nurture and doctor it. This is just something that I’m putting out with my pure instincts.”

Cardi B Clears The Air After Unleashing On Joe Budden

Cardi B is opening up after unleashing on Joe Budden in a fiery rant over her album rollout.

The NYC rapper has been vocal about the release schedule for her upcoming album in recent weeks. On Thursday (July 18) Cardi fired off at Budden following a discussion of his podcast about her unwillingness to drop the project.

However, hours after going in on her critics in a Spaces conversation on X (Twitter), Cardi set things straight. Ultimately, despite the drama, the “Wanna Be” rapper is grateful so much hype surrounds the project.

“I wanna say this to Bardi gang or anybody who’s just a fan of my music or even my craziness,” she began. “I have my good days and my bad days but you know what, whether it’s good or bad I couldn’t be happier with the obvious anticipation for my album.”

Cardi also explained why the conversation got so heated before reaffirming the album will arrive before the year is out.

“Sometimes I get a little aggressive because yall know I don’t like to be told what to do,” she added. “But I promise you it’s coming THIS YEAR. Thank you for the love and anticipation and always holding me down I love yall.”

She also reposted a tweet backing her tirade against the rapper-turned-podcaster.

”Cardi is 100% in the right for standing up for herself against Joe Budden,” the fan wrote. “He been downplaying her artistry & questioning her work ethic for years now. Even creating non sense comparisons with every other rap girl. The treatment and the expectation around Cardi always different.”

During her Spaces talk, Cardi B accused Budden of comparing her to other female artists.

“You really want my album to come out so you can criticize it ‘cause every single time I drop a record, you don’t like it,” she said. “Every single time a b#### drops something and they doing mediocre, you say they doing better than me. Every b####.”

While fans await the album, Cardi B dropped off a new single with Rob49.

Ice Cube Not Surprised By Diddy’s Legal Issues But Thinks Bad Boy Mogul Is Being “Targeted”

Ice Cube spoke about Diddy’s ongoing legal crisis, which includes an onslaught of sexual assault cases.

During a recent interview with Yankees minority owner Patrick Bet-David on the PBD Podcast, Ice Cube opened up about his past work with the Bad Boy Entertainment founder and shared his thoughts on the recent barrage of sexual assault allegations against him. Ice Cube initially recalled his brief professional interactions with Diddy, recalling his time working with him on the East Coast early on in his career.

“He produced a few records or had his producers do a few records on my War & Peace album,” he said. “We flew out to New York, and I was mainly in the studio with his stable of producers.”

While he noted that their collaboration was great and says his experience with Diddy was nothing but positive, he did make it clear that he’d never been to any of the alleged “freak off” parties and claimed he hadn’t been in contact with him since at least the mid-90s.

He added, “I really lost contact with him and really stopped dealing with Puffy around ’94.”

Ice Cube didn’t hold back when Bet-David asked about his personal opinion on the recent allegations and if he was surprised by the legal troubles Diddy is facing.

“How could you be surprised with anything that happens in Hip-Hop?” he remarked. “Hip-Hop is the Wild West, so you are going to have the good, you’re going to have the bad. You’re going to have the ugly.”

Despite the tumultuous nature of the industry, Ice Cube expressed his belief that there’s more at play than meets the eye. The conversation quickly turned into a candid revelation, with Cube providing some eye-opening insights into why he believes Diddy is being “targeted” by individuals who may be more powerful than him.

“I believe he’s being targeted,” Ice Cube asserted, delving into a theory that has been whispered about in the music industry.

“I believe somebody has the power to pull the trigger to make this stuff just domino effect happen,” he added.

However, when asked about comments from Suge Knight alleging Diddy’s inappropriate behavior stems from mentorship he purportedly received from music industry veteran Clive Davis, Ice Cube distanced himself from the speculation.

“I don’t know enough to even be able to be specific on any of this stuff,” he said. “It’s just all speculation. I just know he was cool up until a point and then this stuff started happening. So I believe somebody, like I said, said, ‘Yo, he’s our new guy. We on to this year,’ or whatever.”

As Diddy faces mounting legal challenges, the details are staggering. Multiple women have come forward with accusations of sexual assault, painting a grim picture of the music mogul’s past. His homes in Miami and Los Angeles were recently raided by federal agents, uncovering evidence that could further implicate him.

Diddy is currently facing at least seven sexual assault cases at the moment. The specific charges range from sexual misconduct to more severe allegations, such as rape, that have shocked the entertainment world. Diddy is also still dealing with the fallout of the release of the video of his abusive 2016 hotel encounter with his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura, whom he settled a multi-million dollar lawsuit with earlier this year.

Tasha K Taunts Soulja Boy After He Sues Her For Defamation

Tasha K seemed unfazed by Soulja Boy’s defamation lawsuit on Thursday (July 18). The infamous vlogger invited process servers to deliver Soulja Boy’s legal documents to her shows in Boston and New York.

“PSA,” she wrote on Instagram. “Process Servers can meet me in BOSTON on Saturday July 20 or in New York City on July 21st! I will be performing at The City Wineries. My wine, gossip & comedy shows start promptly at 7:30pm est. Be sure to purchase a ticket process server and I will make sure that my security team lets you through to serve me without any hassle. My lawyers are also in New York and will be attending my New York Show as well if u have any problems getting to me!”

Soulja Boy sued Tasha for $16 million over a May 2024 interview in which William the Baddest claimed to have a sexual past with the rapper. Soulja Boy denied the man’s claims.

“On my soul, on everything I love, that dude is lying,” he said. “I could die right now today. God strike me down. I put it on my life.”

Soulja Boy’s lawyers filed his lawsuit against Tasha K and William the Baddest in Los Angeles court on Tuesday (July 16).

“Plaintiff has suffered actual reputational and professional harm as a result of defendants maliciously targeting plaintiff and seeking to sabotage his career, redefining his character as a man who is not straight, a fraud and dishonest person in the entertainment industry, as a public figure, which is not true,” the lawsuit contended.

Soulja Boy added his name to the list of celebrities who sued Tasha K for her rumormongering. Cardi B won roughly $4 million in a defamation lawsuit against Tasha K in 2022. Comedian Kevin Hart and disgraced singer R. Kelly sued the vlogger in 2023.
