Killers of The Flower Moon

Killers of the Flower Moon, Martin Scorsese’s latest 3.5-hour epic, is a gripping true crime story set in the 1920s. It centers on the harrowing serial murders of the Osage Tribe in Oklahoma, following the discovery of oil on their land. Adapted from journalist David Grann’s book, the screenplay, co-written by Scorsese and Eric Roth, unveils a dark chapter in American history.

The film explores two distinct groups: the Osage Tribe, who gain wealth and prestige from the oil, and a band of unscrupulous men driven by greed. These men plot to seize the Tribe’s inheritance, resulting in the brutal murder of many Osage members.

Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Ernest Burkhart, nephew to the manipulative rancher and politician William King Hale, played by Robert De Niro. Burkhart, back from World War I, finds work as a driver, introducing him to Mollie, a wealthy Osage heiress portrayed by Lily Gladstone. Their ensuing relationship, marred by Hale’s sinister plans, ignites a series of tragic events.

Scorsese’s masterful storytelling and direction, combined with profound performances, create a film that resonates deeply. The movie examines themes of prejudice, deception, and corruption, highlighting the injustices faced by the Osage Tribe. Scorsese’s commitment to authenticity is evident through his consultations with Osage Tribal Leaders, ensuring accuracy in the portrayal of the Tribe’s customs and language. Furthermore, his attention to detail is second to none. Case in point: he subtly intercects the Osage massacre with the savage bombing of Black Wall Street, both in Oklahoma.

Spanning 3.5 hours, the film methodically unfolds this harrowing tale. It alternates between a Western, a love story, a thriller, and a crime drama, reminiscent of Scorsese’s iconic mob films. The first half of the movie spotlights the Osage Tribe’s prosperity and later their dehumanization, leading to deception and murder. The second half focuses on the FBI’s investigation and subsequent trial, seeking justice for the heinous crimes.

Killers of the Flower Moon boasts an ensemble cast, including Brendan Fraser, Jesse Plemons, and John Lithgow. However, the standout performances are from Gladstone, DiCaprio, and De Niro. Gladstone delivers a compelling portrayal of Mollie, balancing warmth and vulnerability. DiCaprio, in his seventh collaboration with Scorsese, expertly navigates the complexities of his character’s divided loyalties. The film excels in craftsmanship, historical accuracy, screenplay, performances, production, and technical merits, making it a profound character study deserving of its acclaim, regardless of its box office success.

Godzilla Minus One

This is quite possibly the best Godzilla movie ever made. It’s not just the Kaiju backdrop that impresses; the compelling human story is emotionally riveting. The blend of story, direction, performances, mayhem, visuals, and score makes it a standout.

Spiderman: Across The Spiderverse

This sequel to 2018’s Into The Spiderverse is another animation triumph. It offers heart, great characters, an engaging story, world-building, and thrilling action. The cliffhanger ending leaves the world eager for the next installment.

They Cloned Tyrone

They Cloned Tyrone stars John Boyega (Tyrone), Teyonah Parris, and Jamie Foxx as peculiar characters in a gripping pursuit of a sinister government conspiracy. This Juel Taylor-directed mystery is a unique proposition in a world of cookie-cutter movies and remakes. The film stands out with its intelligent and stylish execution. They Cloned Tyrone not only captivates with its distinctive storyline but also shines through its outstanding performances and a well-crafted script, courtesy of co-writer Tony Rettenmaier. The film is a classic and enjoyable watch that sets conspiracy theorists and sci-fi bluffs ablaze.

Past Lives

This Korean language film, a stunning directorial debut by Celine Long, is a unique and thought-provoking take on love and relationships spanning from childhood to adulthood. It’s a complex love story backed by excellent performances and is an A24 gem worth watching.

The Covenant

A gripping, emotional military drama packed with high stakes, tension, action, and a spirit of courage. Guy Ritchie’s direction and the powerhouse performances of Jake Gyllenhaal and Dar Salim make this my favorite film of Ritchie’s to date.

Creed III

Michael B. Jordan’s directorial debut is impressive, featuring a strong story, relatable themes, great performances, and thrilling fight choreography. It’s a fitting end to the franchise, yet leaves a desire for more of “Adonis Creed.“

Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning

The seventh entry in this 27-year franchise is filled with thrills, action, and excitement. Christopher McQuarrie’s direction, along with Tom Cruise’s charismatic leadership and the cast’s great performances, make it one of my favorites of the year.

The Iron Claw

A powerful and emotional film based on the true story of the Von Erich family in Texas wrestling. Zac Efron’s performance, arguably the best of his career, anchors this gut-wrenching film.

Another notable films include John Wick: Chapter 4, Air, Blackberry, Anatomy of a Fall, The Creator, Extraction 2, Equalizer 3, Dream Scenario, Sisu, A Haunting in Venice, Big George Foreman, No One Will Save You, Reptile, Thanksgiving, and Grand Turismo.

Cardi B Was “Fighting For Her Life” Before New Year’s Eve Show

Cardi B felt like she was “fighting for her life” before her New Year’s Eve performance in Florida on Sunday. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper posted a video on her Instagram Stories hours before her performance to reveal that she felt “so sick.”

“I’m literally fighting for my life right now,” she told her followers. “I am so sick. I don’t understand right because when I was in New York, I was going out with sweaters, toes out, everything. I was good.”

Cardi B joked that she is “allergic to Florida” as she started to feel unwell as soon as she arrived in Miami.

“It doesn’t even make no sense. As soon as I landed four hours later, I got a little cough. My chest started getting tight,” she explained. “Bro, I’ve been fighting for three days and I have a huge performance later. Huge performance. Like, alright, I get that it’s New Year’s but I have this huge performance and I’m fighting, fighting.”

Despite her illness, Cardi still went ahead with her performance at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach resort as part of Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve.

A few days earlier, the musician told her followers on X, formerly known as Twitter, that she was leaving “toxic” energy behind in 2023.

“I must be a lil toxic cuz I enjoyed cursing ya out today… but we not taking that into 2024,” she wrote. “Now have a good day. No make it a bad day!”

Cardi B wrote the message after shutting down speculation that she had reconciled with her estranged husband Offset.

Trey Songz is once again being accused of abhorrent behavior toward women—even though the source’s reputation is undeniably questionable. According to Celina Powell—who’s been at the center of multiple controversies surrounding her alleged involvement with a cornucopia of rappers—Songz not only kidnapped her for two days, but he also starved her and refused to give them water. The infamous “groupie” recently sat down with the We In Miami podcast and recounted her alleged run-in with the singer.

“F### Trey Songz, and I’m going to stand on that,” she begins. “That stupid little kidnapper stole my phone and kidnapped me. Mr. Steal Your Girl really be stealing b######.”

She continues, “The short version is he saw me at a club…me and him exchanged a few DMs. He was like, ‘f### no.’ Then he seen me in person and was like, ‘OK, come here.’ We went there because I was like, ‘Sign me up. I’m a w####.’ And then he was like, ‘OK, give me your phone.’ I gave him my phone and he wouldn’t give me back my phone. He threw it over his balcony. Kidnapped us for the whole two days. Didn’t feed us. Didn’t give us no water. Nothing.”

When asked if she was actually having fun, she shouted, “Hell no! I would have been down to f### him, but the way he went about it…hell no.” But then one of the hosts asks point blank if she actually did. She replies, “It’s like a dark topic” and didn’t deny or confirm whether she had sex with him.

Trey Songz has been sued multiple times for sexual assault. More recently, a Jane Doe filed a $10 million sexual battery and assault lawsuit, which accused the 38-year-old of grabbing and exposing her breast while at a pool party. The woman claims the incident took place at the Foxwoods’ Resort Casino on Connecticut’s Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation reservation in August 2013. Songz was at the resort hosting an event where the woman wanted to get a picture with him. The woman previously issued a demand for a $5 million settlement to settle out of court in April 2022 to no avail.

In February, another Jane Doe filed a $25 million civil case against Songz, 300 Entertainment founder Kevin Liles and Atlantic Records over claims he sodomized her during a party in March 2016 and left her needing medical attention.

Former college basketball player Dylan Gonzalez accused Songz in January 2022 of raping her nine years earlier in Las Vegas, following reports he was being investigated for a separate allegation of sexual assault at a Las Vegas hotel in November 2021. That same year, a Miami woman refiled a suit against Songz claiming that he assaulted her at a nightclub at a New Year’s Day party in 2018.

Dave Chappelle Enrages LGBTQ+ Community With More Trans Jokes

Dave Chappelle is up to his old tricks, taking aim at marginalized communities in his latest Netflix special, The Dreamer. The famed comedian’s new set includes several jokes targeting the trans community and disabled people, once again enraging a portion of the LGBTQ+ population.

For the first 12 minutes, he focuses on trans people, telling a story about visiting actor Jim Carrey while he was shooting the 1999 film Man on the Moon, in which he went method on set while portraying comedian Andy Kaufman. Chappelle recalls being “very disappointed” that he spent the day speaking to Carrey pretending to be Kaufman, ending by saying, “That’s how trans people make me feel.”

Chappelle, who has joked about the LGBTQ+ community numerous times during his standup routines, addressed the controversy, saying, “If you guys came here to this show tonight thinking that I’m going to make fun of those people again, you’ve come to the wrong show. I’m not f###ing with those people anymore. It wasn’t worth the trouble. I ain’t saying s### about them. Maybe three or four times tonight, but that’s it.

“I’m tired of talking about them. And you want to know why I’m tired of talking about them? Because these people acted like I needed them to be funny. Well, that’s ridiculous. I don’t need you. I got a whole new angle coming. You guys will never see this s### coming. I ain’t doing trans jokes no more.”

Instead, Chappelle said, he was going to start joking about “handicapped” people because “they’re not as organized as the gays. And I love punching down.”

He eventually circled back to the trans topic with, “To be honest with you, I’ve been trying to repair my relationship with the transgender community cause I don’t want them to think that I don’t like them. You know how I’ve been repairing it? I wrote a play. I did. Cause I know that gays love plays. It’s a very sad play, but it’s moving. It’s about a Black transgender woman whose pronoun is, sadly, n####a. It’s a tear-jerker. At the end of the play she dies of loneliness cause white liberals don’t know how to speak to her. It’s sad.”

He added, “God forbid I ever go to jail. But if I do, I hope it’s in California. Soon as the judge sentences me, I’ll be like, ‘Before you sentence me, I want the court to know I identify as a woman. Send me to a woman’s jail.’ As soon I get in there, you know what I’mma be doing. ‘Give me your fruit cocktail, b####, before I knock your motherf###ing teeth out. I’m a girl, just like you, b####. Come here and suck this girl d### I got. Don’t make me explain myself. I’m a girl.’”

Chappelle’s 2021 Netflix special, The Closer, incited Netflix employee walk-outs and protests in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community. Netflix’s Ted Sarandos initially defended Chappelle and his right to artistic freedom in a memo distributed among Netflix employees but later said he “screwed up.”

Chaka Khan Done With Touring, Doesn’t Care About Her Legacy

Chaka Khan is done with touring. The “Ain’t Nobody” hitmaker confirmed that she intends to stop touring, although she will continue to perform live on select occasions

Elaborating on her decision, the 70-year-old explained that there is more to her life than music.

“Some people, that’s all they have, you know? I got this rich-ass life. I’ve got great-grandchildren I want to get to know better,” she stated. “So I will not do another tour. I’ll do dates, but it won’t look like a tour. They’ll be far enough apart that I can have time to sleep in between.”

When asked if she would ever retire, the singer joked about musicians who dip in and out of retirement. “Well, I might do that three or four times, like other b###### do,” she quipped.

Khan is next scheduled to perform in Los Angeles in January, and she has several shows lined up in the U.K. in June and July. Elsewhere in the interview, Chaka Khan ended her feud with Kanye West and claimed that she doesn’t “really care” about her musical legacy.

“I would hope that some of my s### has some longevity, but if it doesn’t, that’ll be because hopefully somebody better has come along,” she said. “I just hope that the art form doesn’t get so screwed up with stupid s### – kids today think that every instrument can be played on a keyboard. Instruments have to be introduced once again to these kids.”

Akademiks Accused Of Sexual Assault After Alleged Drunken Threesome With His Boys

Akademiks is currently embroiled in serious sexual assault allegations. The allegations arose after former partner Ziya Abashe accused him and his friends of sexual assault and rape in a video posted on Saturday (December 30.)

“For you to pretend you didn’t do anything?” she said. “That I just went to your house and I’m some thot, like we didn’t know each other for 2 years. You tried to save yourself after your friends assaulted me. Whether or not you got drunk or not. I know that when you woke up, you were on top of me too. You raped me too.”

Abashe’s video was in response to Akademiks’ own account of an incident, where he claimed to have found footage of the woman engaging in sexual activities with his friends while he was passed out.

The situation began to unfold when Akademiks spoke about inviting a woman to his house on an episode of his podcast. He alleged that after passing out, he found security footage of the woman with his friends the next morning.

“[I was] shaming her,” Ak said. “I said to her, you came to my house and had two n***** just f*** you raw. I ain’t seen no condom, no nothing. I told her, you should go get tested, that’s wild. From that moment, the denial shifted. And she kept trying to pivot on the denial to ‘send me the video.’ My homies did not tell me they f***** her. At that point I only seen it on my security camera.”

Following the podcast, Abashe claimed Akademiks’ story was incorrect, accusing him of participating in the assault himself. Abashe has stated that a rape kit was conducted.

“I look crazy right now, but I’m not going to stand here and let this man continue to lie about me,” she said. “That’s not what happened Akademiks, you know that’s not what happened.”

There’s been significant social media reaction to these allegations, with many users expressing outrage and supporting the woman’s claims.

Additionally, Akademiks has been accused of being abusive toward women in the past, with a former girlfriend reportedly claiming he behaved “pervy” and would only initiate sexual activity after getting drunk.

BG and Gucci Mane have opened up about the process behind their recent collaborative project and how producer Mike WiLL Made-It was a part of it all.

In a new interview, the newly minted rap duo broke down how they came together or their Choppers & Bricks album following BG’s recent release from a 13-year prison sentence. While it’s evident BG and Gucci Mane had previously built a rapport, Mike WiLL was apparently behind the scenes pulling the strings.

“Mike WiLL put it together, but Mike WiLL been knew I was a fan of his because I always been talking about it, and I always been shouting him out, you know what I’m saying,” Gucci said in part. “He really put it together for me like, ‘Ay you need to f##k with BG,’ and I’m like ‘Hell yeah, I want to put us together.’”

BG continued where Gucci left off, remarking he actually caught on to one of the shoutouts Guwop sent his way while reading the 1017 Records CEO’s book during his prison term.

“And actually, when I was reading your book and you sent me a shoutout in the book when you was talking about—I was like ‘Oh s##t,’ Na the s##t was real,” BG said.

He continued, revealing he read The Autobiography of Gucci Mane at least twice while detailing his favorite part of the memoir. “When I’m telling you I read your book twice actually. But that was real when I was reading the book and you was talking about a situation between you and Juvie (Juvenile).”

Lil Nas X Plotting New Project With Self-Directed Music Video

Lil Nas X has teased an upcoming music video he wrote and directed. The 24-year-old rapper took to Twitter (X) on Thursday night (December 28) to announce he’s gearing up to release his latest project.

“Wrote and directed my own music video for the first time,” Lil Nas X announced to his fans. “Excited for y’all to see. It’s the best one yet!”

He seemingly teased the content of the video by adding emojis of a church, dove and white heart.
The rapper rose to fame in 2019 with his viral hit “Old Town Road,” the longest-running No. 1 song since the Billboard chart debuted in 1958. The song was followed by his debut album, Montero, which was released in 2021.

Lil Nas X recently released a documentary film titled Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero, which premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival in September. In February, the “Industry Baby” hitmaker told his fans he wanted to take his time with his sophomore album.

“It’s mostly planning now,” he wrote on Twitter at the time. “I could easily just release music but i have to build moments around this s**t. i have to go bigger than before!”

Rihanna got the chance to be a fan girl during a recent trip to the Colorado mountains with A$AP Rocky by her side. According to TMZ, Rihanna and Rocky caught up with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards and her beau, Mauricio Umansky, for an impromptu shopping trip in Aspen.

RiRi was reportedly shopping at Kemo Sabe as a VIP when store workers alerted her that Richards was also in the store and had requested an informal meet-and-greet. For Rihanna, who’s reportedly a major fan of the reality television show, the request was met with excitement as she allegedly told store workers “f### yes” when asked if she would be willing to meet with Richards. In fact, sources said the whole reason RiRi went to Kemo Sabe in the first place is because Richards visited the store previously during an episode.

Rihanna and Rocky, who were also spending time with their two children, apparently spent over an hour in the store hanging out and taking photos with Richards, her daughters and Umansky. The couple reportedly splurged on all sorts of winter gear for their two two kids during the short trip. Rihanna and Rocky’s latest outing follows a takeover of Las Vegas for the Formula 1 event last month.

Donald Trump Denies Being Bully, Says His Appearance “Great” For “Home Alone 2”

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has denied bullying his way into the 1992 movie Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. The businessman-turned-politician took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to refute director Chris Columbus’ claim that he insisted upon making a cameo appearance in the movie in exchange for letting them film inside his hotel.

“Nothing could be further from the truth,” Trump insisted. “That cameo helped make the movie a success, but if they felt bullied, or didn’t want me, why did they put me in, and keep me there, for over 30 years? Because I was, and still am, great for the movie, that’s why! Just another Hollywood guy from the past looking for a quick fix of Trump publicity for himself!”

Trump claimed that the filmmakers begged him to appear in the festive classic and he reluctantly agreed because they were “persistent.”

“That little cameo took off like a rocket, and the movie was a big success, and still is, especially around Christmas time. People call me whenever it is aired,” he added.

During a 2020 interview with Business Insider, Columbus claimed they paid a fee to film in The Plaza Hotel, but Trump, who owned it at the time, still insisted on a cameo.

“(He) said, ‘The only way you can use the Plaza is if I’m in the movie,'” Columbus said. “So we agreed to put him in the movie, and when we screened it for the first time the oddest thing happened: People cheered when Trump showed up on-screen. So I said to my editor, ‘Leave him in the movie. It’s a moment for the audience.’ But he did bully his way into the movie.”

In the scene, Macaulay Culkin’s Kevin McCallister walks into the Plaza and Trump tells him how to find the lobby. Trump made many cameo appearances in films and TV shows during the ’80s and ’90s.

On Saturday (December 30), the legendary Hip-Hop artist shared a photo of himself at the doctor’s office and revealed he’s been fighting cancer for the last year. But, as he wrote in the caption, the battle is over—at least for now. In the process, Capri explained he’d endured two surgeries but purposefully didn’t disclose his health scare as to not take focus off the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop.

“God is great!!” he wrote. “3 days ago, I found out that I’m cancer free! Been dealing with it all year while I was doing everything I was doing for hip hop 50! I had 2 surgeries and never said anything publicly about what I was going through, I’m not an attention w####, so I didn’t want to say anything, so that it didn’t look like i wanted pity, but now that it’s over, I figure I let my fans and friends know, I’m very happy, this year I did a lot, but come 2024, I’m getting even crazier than I did in 2023!! Thank you God!”

Although Kid Capri was in a fight for his life, fans couldn’t tell. In November, Capri joined dozens of his fellow Hip-Hop legends for Rock The Bells’ inaugural Hip-Hop Cruise. In August, he, LL COOL J, Queen Latifah, De La Soul and several other pillars of the culture participated in the second annual Rock The Bells Festival. He was also be on the road, performing solo shows and producing music for other artists. The year prior, he released his first solo album in nearly 30 years, The Love.

Speaking to AllHipHop in April, Kid Capri explained how Lil Pump’s Eminem diss fueled the creation of the album. In December 2020, the “Gucci Gang” rapper randomly targeted Slim Shady in one of his Instagram videos, saying, “Hey f### Eminem, you is lame as hell. Ain’t nobody listening to your old a##. You lame as f###, b####. I woke up on some bulls###. I’m back on my f### s###.”

“That was just one of the things that did inspire,” Capri said at the time. “I got tired of seeing the younger dudes thinking that the older people ain’t capable. Like we ain’t been here building this business from the ground up from day one. Sometimes, it is the truth. A lot of older people, they get out of touch. They don’t want the younger people to come in and do their thing, and it be just back and forth exchange.

“But when I watch Little Pump disrespect a dude that became the Elvis of Hip-Hop, this dude that sold millions and millions of records, created opportunities for so many people and is one of the greatest MCs on the planet, for him to just disrespect him like that, we losing our respect level.”

The Game Brushes Off Sexual Assault Accuser’s Second Lawsuit Victory

The Game is blowing off reports his sexual assault accuser, Priscilla Rainey, has won another lawsuit against him. On Saturday (December 30), the “Hate It or Love It” rapper responded to an Instagram post about the case and wrote simply, “Aye so what y’all doing for New Years??” The comment is akin to how he’s handle the entire case.

In recent court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Rainey accused The Game of creating shell companies in an attempt to dodge paying the original $7 million judgment. Rainey and The Game’s longtime manager, Wack 100, testified during a December 13 hearing, but The Game didn’t show up.

According to the complaint, Rainey claims The Game stepped down as manager of JTT Holdings and transferred the company to Wack 100 in an effort to shield his earnings. Wack denied any wrongdoing during the trial, stating a home was transferred to him as payment for a debt owed to him by The Game.

The Game’s initial failure to appear is what cost him the $7 million. Rainey, who was a former contestant on the VH1 show She Got Game, sued The Game in August 2015, claiming he sexually assaulted her while filming the show. The Game has repeatedly not shown up for court, forcing the judge to award Rainey millions. But The Game remains defiant, insistent she’ll never receive a single penny from him. Although Rainey admitted she’s received $500,000 of the $7 million.

“People out here dying from the rona n blogs out here creating false narratives for this Waffle House roach who doing anything her thirsty a## can to try n take money from me,” he wrote on Instagram in 2020. I’m enjoying retirement !! Y’all been saying she got 7 million for 7 years & yet here I am, laid up tipsy off my 5th quarantine watching Tiger King lol.”

In 2016, The Game also levied his own allegations against Rainey, saying at the time, “She has a history of theft, fraud, prostitution arrests & a lot of other ‘Tranny Panty’ activity in her past that makes this false claim irrelevant. Don’t be fooled by these accusations or the dollar amount in the headlines cause I put that on my favorite aunties poodle this broad ain’t gettin s###!

“Every girl on that show will tell u I never touched this chick or ever desired to be anywhere near her. She got kicked off the show & as a result she filed this lame lawsuit which was probably her intentions before the show was ever even started. She was begging for my attention the entire time we shot the show & was given the ultimate Major League Baseball CURVE ball so that upset her.”

Frank Ocean’s highly sought after vault of music has once again been breached by eager hackers dying for new music from the career covert crooner.

This time, leakers managed to set free an angelic demo of an unreleased collaboration between Frank and Blood Orange. Though only about one-minute of the record has surfaced on Twitter (and it appears to be an interlude or unfinished cut of some sort based on how short it is), fans still can’t seem to get enough of the vibrant snippet. However, through all the excitement about the record, angst appeared to manifest on the timeline shortly after.

“These songs leaking is bound to happen when you have diehard fans waiting almost 8 years for a new album,” one user wrote in a reply underneath the thread of the snippet, to which another replied, “Well it’s scrapped anyway.”

Frank Ocean dropped his last album in 2016 and shows now signs of releasing anything anytime soon. And to burst the new music bubble even more, the purported leak previously surfaced in 2020. So at this point, we are getting repeat leaks—not even fresh, unheard material. In other words, it’s looking and sounding real quiet for new Frank Ocean in the near future. Will Smith was terrified during his “one and only date” with Pepa of Salt-N-Pepa.

During Cheryl’ Salt’ James and Sandra’ Pepa’ Denton’s appearance on his “Class of ’88” podcast, the rapper-turned-actor revealed he “always had a thing for Sandy” before they went on their “one and only date” in 1988.

Will admitted he wanted to win over the Push It singer so badly on their date that he rented a car.

“This girl was special and I wanted to impress her, so I rented a white Mercedes convertible just because I needed to floss a little bit,” he said, reports People. “My plan was then to take her around Hollywood Hills, drive up Mulholland and all that, watch the sunset.”

Pepa remembered thinking the DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince star was “so nice” when he gave a homeless person a hundred dollar bill during their date.

While she was impressed, Will was terrified trying to “shoot (his) shot” with the Whatta Man hitmaker.

“My concern was that I was going to get killed,” the Oscar-winning actor confessed. “That was my concern when I was trying to spit my game, but I ain’t really have nothing.

“I was always faked like I had game. I didn’t really have a game. I was always in this full-on, trying to give the wildest flavor of having game, but that might have been the most terrified I had ever been trying to shoot my shot with Pepa. And I didn’t believe I had a real shot.”

Their dalliance quickly fizzled out after that date; however, he, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Salt-N-Pepa “always really got along.”

Blueface is battling rumors he has a sexually transmitted disease following a recent interaction with one of his followers during an Instagram livestream.

A clip surfaced of Blueface aggressively addressing allegations over the weekend during what initially appeared to be a harmless conversation with fans. It appears the discourse started after a user with the handle @gotittaop began antagonizing Blueface about a blemish he had on his face near his lips and just under his nose.

50 Cent Reacts To Taraji P. Henson Firing Her Team For Botching Opportunities After “Empire” Success

Taraji P. Henson has revealed she fired her entire team for failing to capitalize on the success of her TV show “Empire” and rapper 50 Cent loved it.

After starring as Cookie Lyon on all six seasons of the drama from 2015 to 2020, the actress wanted to make the most of her character’s popularity – but her team didn’t follow through. While speaking to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation in a recent interview, Taraji named “firing everybody after Cookie” as the best business move she’s made in her career.

“Everybody had to f###### go,” she asserted. “Where is my deal? Where’s my commercial? Cookie was at the top of the fashion game. Where is my endorsement? What did you have set up for after this?

“That’s why you all haven’t seen me in so long. They had nothing set up.”

While Taraji’s team allegedly didn’t organize promotional opportunities surrounding the Cookie character, they did pitch another series in the “Empire” franchise.

“All they wanted was another Cookie show, and I said, ‘I’ll do it, but it has to be right. The people deserve, she’s too beloved for y’all to f### it up,'” Taraji recalled. “And so, when they didn’t get it right, I was like, ‘Well, that’s it,’ and they had nothing else.”

She remembered telling the team, “You’re all f###### fired.”

50 Cent has been making overtures to work with Taraji over the last few days. After the actress broke down in tears about the paygap between black actresses in Hollywood, 50 offered to work with the “Color Purple” star.

After getting wind of Taraji’s bold move to fire her team, 50 took to IG to react to the latest headline news surrounding the actress.

Elsewhere in the interview, Taraji admitted she was hesitant about firing her team beforehand due to insecurity.

“It took me years to get there,” she said. “You are the prize. Don’t you ever forget that.”

She advised other actors, “You are the talent. You are their check. Don’t ever forget that. They work for you. If they are not… somebody else will do it. I stayed with the same team for years.”

Jermaine Jackson Accused Of Breaking Into Woman’s Home & Sexually Assaulting Her

Jermaine Jackson has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman over three decades ago.

A lawsuit filed Wednesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court showed the founding member of the Jackson 5 was sued by Rita Barrett, who claimed Jermaine forced his way into her home and assaulted her in 1988.

According to the legal documents, Rita asserted she knew Jermaine, now 69, for several years before the alleged sexual assault took place due to “professional and personal connections.”

The papers stated that her husband, Ben Barrett, worked closely with Berry Gordy, whom she believed was “in a business and/or management relationship” with Jackson at the time of the alleged assault.

“Defendant Jackson forced himself into Plaintiff’s home, and with force and violence sexually assaulted Plaintiff,” the lawsuit read. “During the assault, Plaintiff, a woman of faith, prayed to God for help. During the assault, Plaintiff feared for her life. After the assault and when Defendant Jackson was satiated, he left the residence.”

Rita claimed she reported the assault the following day to Gordy, whom she alleged “withheld and concealed the acts.”

While Gordy isn’t named as a defendant, Rita accused him of protecting Jermaine over the alleged assault for financial interest. Berry Gordy produced The Jackson 5 and gave Jermaine and his brothers – including Michael Jackson – worldwide fame.
