Rappers NBA YoungBoy and DaBaby are used to be in the headlines.
Both artists usually are at the top of our minds for violent altercations, but this time it will be for possibly beating up the charts with a new joint project.
According to reports, the two will drop a new album titled Better Than You on March 4th.
The two have been dropping songs, “Bestie” and “HIT,” over the last month, and fans will be pleased if those are any indication of how hot the project will be.
DaBaby seems to be proud to work with his new comrade.
He said, “I know he don’t get the credit he deserves for his music because of the stigma that’s around him. I just listened to his last project, and he’s like crazy talented.”
Perhaps, DaBaby knows a little something about negative backlash impacting his career.
Last year, during a performance, DaBaby made a grave mistake by making some homophobic remarks and giving out miseducation about the HIV/AIDS virus. The artist barely made it out of that drama, as the LGBTQ community and their allies were up in arms, calling for his cancellation.
Most recently, as reported by AllHipHop.com, he and his entourage jumped DaniLeigh’s brother Brandon Bill$ in a bowling alley.
Shirley Ann Jackson was born August 5, 1946, in Washington, D.C., and is an American physicist credited with making many advances in science.
Jackson attended Roosevelt Senior High School, graduating in 1964 as valedictorian. She enrolled at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to study theoretical physics, graduating in 1968. She was the first African-American woman to earn a doctorate at MIT and the second African-American woman in the United States to earn a doctorate in physics.
Despite offers from Brown, the University of Chicago, and Harvard, Jackson stayed at MIT to encourage more African American students to attend the prestigious institution of higher learning.
During her Ph.D. Jackson worked on elementary particle theory under the direction of James Young, the first African American tenured full professor in MIT’s physics department.
Jackson’s area of interest in physics was subatomic particles found within atoms, the tiny units of which all matter is made.
Shirley Ann Jackson joined the Theoretical Physics Research Department at AT&T Bell Laboratories in 1976, where she studied materials to be used in the semiconductor industry and progressed through several departments, including the Scattering and Low Energy Physics Research Department in 1978 and the Solid State and Quantum Physics Research Department in 1988.
Her experiments in theoretical physics and breakthrough advances in telecommunications enabled others to invent many vital devices, such as the touch-tone telephone, fiber optic cables, and the technology behind caller I.D.
Jackson went to the faculty at Rutgers University between 1991 and 1995 while consulting with Bell Labs on semiconductor theory.
In 1995 she was appointed by President Bill Clinton to serve as the Chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), making her the first woman (and the first African American) to hold that position.
She assisted with the establishment of the International Nuclear Regulators Association from 1997 to 1999.
In 1999, Shirley Ann Jackson became the 18th president of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the first woman and first African American to hold this position.
She transformed the Institute through a strategic plan known as the Rensselaer Plan to revolutionize the department in many areas.
The plan, which is still in action today, included constructing an Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center and the East Campus Athletic Village.
Jackson has also been one of the country’s highest-paid university presidents, but she will be stepping down from her post as President on July 1, 2022.
Her achievements, not just as a black person but as a woman, are just too numerous to note.
Dr. Jackson’s work at MIT to use her role to help more African American students makes her a key figure in black history that has earned her accolades!
Snoop Dogg could be sued by an UberEats Driver after the West Coast rapper posted the man’s personal information on social media.
According to CBS News, the Death Row Records owner believed that a food delivery service worker provided poor service to him last month and posted his opinion on his Instagram – where he has over 69 million followers.
In a video complaint, that has since received more than 4 million views and 12,000 comments, Snoop said that his order never came.
Though only 12 seconds, the UberEats driver says Snoop voicing his displeasure his damaged his life. The Doggfather compromised the man’s safety by posting his first name, picture, and license plate number on his social media platform.
The man, whose first name is Sayd, said, “After I see the video, I’m kind of like…I have anxiety and I fear for my family’s safety.”
Sayd says that he didn’t know he was delivering to the celebrity and canceled the order, according to Uber’s protocol, after waiting eight minutes for someone to pick it up
“I contacted the customer many times and I also followed the protocol by the book,” Sayd said.
Uber has apologized to Snoop for the inconvenience of not getting his food but did not release a statement about the doxxing.
Doxxing, according to Avast.com, is a “type of online harassment that involves uncovering someone’s personal information — such as their real name, address, job, or other identifying data — and exposing it publicly, usually on the internet.”
The statement read, “We truly regret Snoop Dogg’s frustrating experience. We have reached out to apologize and refunded him for the order.”
Sayd felt betrayed.
“When I read that, I just felt like it’s not fair because I am the one that deserves an apology from Uber Eats, not Snoop,” he remarked.
Sayd no longer works for the company, saying he is afraid to return to work, after having so much of his personal information leaked to the public.
He said, “But I have to fight for my rights and family’s rights. I just feel like I’m not treated well from this celebrity or Uber Eats.”
The man did not say he was suing but seems to be setting up for a legal battle.
Bow Wow thinks Death Row Records would be the perfect home for his final album.
The veteran rapper revealed he’d like to release his last album on Death Row Records during a Twitter Q&A. The label was recently acquired by Snoop Dogg, who originally discovered Bow Wow and came up with the Lil Bow Wow moniker.
“Spoke to snoop last week,” Bow Wow wrote. “Very soon. My plan is to put my final album on death row and close my music career out where it began. Im tryna do the d wade and come home and close it out.”
Spoke to snoop last week. Very soon. My plan is to put my final album on death row and close my music career out where it began. Im tryna do the d wade and come home and close it out. https://t.co/rzQATRFRMu
Although Bow Wow never released an album on Death Row Records, he was part of the label during his childhood. He appeared on Snoop Dogg’s classic debut Doggystyle, so it would be a full-circle moment for him to close out his career on the label.
If Bow Wow does reunite with the Doggfather at Death Row, he’ll likely be involved in the NFT craze. After acquiring the iconic label, Snoop Dogg said he wanted to make it an NFT label.
“Death Row will be an NFT label,” he declared on Clubhouse. “We will be putting out artists through the metaverse. Just like we broke the industry when we was the first independent [label] to be major, I want to be the first major [label] in the metaverse.”

After the untimely death of Drakeo the Ruler in December 2021 and during the Once Upon a Time Festival in Los Angeles, his brother has filed a lawsuit that claims promoters Live Nation, Snoop Dogg’s LLC, and the Los Angeles Football Club left his life in jeopardy by not providing sufficient security.
According to TMZ Ralfy the Plug, whose real name is Devonte Caldwell, said he was caught in a “violent mob attack” consisting of 50 to 100 people, some armed with knives after a fight broke out backstage of the venue.
The melee lasted for approximately 15 minutes in an area that, despite being all-access, was supposed to be secured to protect artists from physical harm.
According to the rapper, the security detail ranged between “lackadaisical to totally absent.”
Ralfy the Plug also alleged that since the concert was being held at Exposition Park, the promoters should have known the location was high in gang activity and that artists, particularly Drakeo, were public targets in gang beefs— after he received multiple threats by rival gang members that were well documented.
Ralfy noted that as he and his brother went through “checkpoints,” they noticed that security was not doing their jobs.
At one point, two unarmed staffers allowed admission to anyone with an all-access badge without checking them for weapons.
Even at a vehicle checkpoint with a metal detector, drug-sniffing dog, and a small group of security guards, he claims that cars were not being searched. More important to his assertion, the cars that were not being searched had individuals in them singing gang chants, a signifier that a criminal element was being allowed in the space.
After the fight that left his brother Drakeo the Ruler bleeding from stab wounds, his brother recalled that it took at least 30 minutes before the EMT could arrive. The rapper eventually died in the hospital.
Ralfy the Plug is suing for millions.
According to AllHipHop.com, his mother had previously said she would be filing a lawsuit against Live Nation and those connected to her son’s death.
Darrylene Corniel said, “They let all these people in, and you’re not supposed to have all these people backstage. And your security is supposed to be in place.”
“The whole program should have been orchestrated a lot better than what it was. And there should have been more protection,” Corniel continued. “Even if you have metal detectors, even if you pat them down, you let those people come in there. You had more people come in than you were supposed to. And you allowed them to jump my son. You didn’t protect my son.”
The festival has responded to Ralfy’s lawsuit and said, “Once Upon a Time in LA joins Drakeo’s family, friends, and fans in grieving his loss. The festival is continuing to support local authorities in their investigation as they pursue the facts.”
Two months ago, AllHipHop.com reported that the investigation was stalled because witnesses to the fight are refusing to cooperate.
“The DJs have arrived!” This phrase usually means one thing: it’s party time! If you’ve been to a function with an awesome DJ, then you know how well a night can go. Normally, these guys are responsible for two things: keeping the energy up and getting people on the dance floor. A great DJ can make or break your event, and finding someone with both talent and professionalism can feel like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Luckily, some DJs fully understand the assignment and deliver stellar results. DJ Ty Street, entertainer, and party extraordinaire, is one of them.
DJ Ty Street wears many hats besides mixing and spinning music on the decks. Known for his ability to read the crowd and keep people dancing all night long, DJ Ty Street is the ultimate entertainment package. He is a high-energy performer with a strong country music background and upbringing. As a child, DJ Ty Street was raised by the lead singer of a ‘90s country band in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This rich musical heritage shaped his worldview and prepared him for his future career path. Years later, he found his way into the music industry and discovered that the entertainment business was a natural fit for him.
For 15+ years, DJ Ty Street has been entertaining crowds of all sizes and ages nationally at music festivals across the country. He’s brought party-goers to their feet and opened for notable personalities at some of the biggest country music events. Some of those accomplishments include opening for Brad Paisley, Brantley Gilbert, Luke Combs, Travis Tritt, Chris Young, Kane Brown, and Morgan Wallen, among others.
Additionally, DJ Ty Street is the official DJ of the Patriotic Festival, which has been featured on CMT (Country Music Television) for the past few years. The festival has been held locally in Virginia for 5 years now, and DJ Ty Street has continued to put his hometown on the map with his prowess on the decks. DJ Ty Street has also been a part of many events sponsored by corporate brands like Monster Energy, Red Bull, Vans, Yuengling, Jack Daniels, and Miller Lite.
DJ Ty Street has continued to hone his skills and steal the show wherever he goes over the years. He was actually just about to announce an enormous step toward one of his major goals when Covid-19 happened. The ensuing lockdowns brought live shows and public gatherings to a halt, which affected much of what DJ Ty Street had planned. Now that normalcy is returning, he hopes to pick things up where he left off. He says some good things are coming, and he will share them with fans in due time.
Continuous learning and improvement remain the backbone of DJ Ty Street’s career as he works towards bigger goals in the future. For him, hard work and consistency are indispensable regardless of how great he becomes, and that’s why he’s looking to expand his portfolio. In the future, DJ Ty Street hopes to play amphitheaters and huge stadium stages as part of a national tour sharing his talent and energy with bigger crowds in more cities alongside big stars in the industry. DJ Ty Street loves writing, and he also wants to explore songwriting while out on the road.
Throughout history, people have used their pain and struggle to create masterpieces. In fact, some of the best songs, books, and art were inspired by challenges in the artist’s or author’s life. Many times, the public does not realize that. It’s possible to erroneously believe your favorite artist lives and breathes glitter and glamor when you’re listening to lyrics that resonate deeply with your circumstances. The reality is different, like Atlanta-based rapper Lil Bike proves.
Though he’d been rapping from a young age, Lil Bike’s breakthrough didn’t come easy. His real-life was full of twists and turns that affected his art. This turbulence would later culminate in a fallout with his family and Lil Bike being kicked out of his parents’ house. The transition from relying on his parents to fending for himself on the streets forced Lil Bike to grow up faster than he should have. It also equipped him with a strength he appreciates today.
Lil Bike didn’t lose sight of his dream through the pain and struggle. He focused on the bigger picture and kept writing lyrics even as he hustled to make a living. When the going got tough or the noise became too much, he tuned every naysayer out and kept his head down. Lil Bike did everything he could to take care of himself and his budding career. With time, he got better at his craft and made another move.
Lil Bike dropped his debut track “Do It For You” in 2015 and was pleasantly surprised when it exceeded his expectations. The track gained 300k+ plays on SoundCloud soon after its release. For an independent and self-made artist, that was a huge milestone. Lil Bike continued to create catchy verses and post them on social media. That gained him even more fans and eventually caught the attention of Think It’s A Game Records which signed him in 2018.
“Grind” was Lil Bike’s first track as an artist in the big leagues. With its catchy melodies, emotional resonance, and sharp wordplay, the song was an autobiography of sorts. It gave an inside look into his journey as an artist. His charisma and confidence shine through in every verse as he motivates his audience with his interesting experiences.
Since then, Lil Bike has gone back to the studio and produced one gem after another. In his track “Behind Me”, he spits out rhymes and rhythms about his ascension to the top and the people he had to leave behind. The artist has other songs in his portfolio, like Professional, Live My Life, Minimum Wage, and Real Love, among others. Vivid videos that capture him cruising in fast cars, living in high-end hotel suites, and enjoying the benefits of his hard work accompany his songs.
Many people the world over aspire to achieve as much as they can throughout their lives. It’s almost like these people are on a mission to achieve everything they possibly can. This mindset is inspiring and results in individuals who excel at nearly everything in life.
One of these multi-talented, creative, and dedicated people is Marco Antonio Henriquez Moreno, known by his stage name as Marcoahz. Marco has been working on this music and music production talent vigorously. His new single, “Mambo RK,” is the talk of the town, and it has a strong inspiration behind it.
The single is inspired by the beaches of P#### Cana and has a tropical rhythm for the audience to jam to. Marco has been avidly working on his own music project brand called MARCOAHZ. He aspires to take this initiative further by expanding it globally when the time is right.
The music he dreams of producing and has been working on covers the disco and techno genre niche. These anthems will be played in the most popular nightclubs in New York, Dubai, London, Miami, and Manchester. Creating the Caribbean and urban rhythms is also a part of his plan.
Marco comes from the United Kingdom but was raised in Spain, and his origins lie in the Dominican Republic. His diverse cultural heritage has always been greatly reflected in his work. It is safe to say that these parts of him have also inspired his creative side. Marco’s passion and interest in music developed at a very early age. This was the biggest reason he became part of the music industry 3 years ago.
He is currently working on his new single and plans to release it soon. Along with being a remarkable and dedicated musician, Marco is the proud owner of a fashion label that falls under his Marcoahz brand. He is a fashion mogul and entered the world of fashion at the age of only 22.
His fashion brand has already hit the global markets, and he has stores established in fashion hubs such as the UK, Spain, and many others. His creativity has led him to become a visionary and creative genius in the fashion world.
The decisions he’s made about his journey were made very early on in his life, making him stand out from the crowd massively. The dedication to become something in life and chase his dreams is applaudable.
Strong-minded, driven, and hard-working personalities like Marco Antonio Henriquez Moreno are an inspiration to many. His advice to aspiring artists and entrepreneurs is to always focus on what’s important to your and your future objectives.
The milestones he has achieved and his success can be used as motivation for future musicians, artists, creators, and entrepreneurs. People like Marco should be recognized more for their efforts to motivate others and prove to the world that anything is possible. Marco is a role model for the upcoming generation and has shown that persistence and consistency can take you anywhere in life.

The Assertion!
All things considered, his debut Shady Records release, God Don’t Make Mistakes, is garnering critical-acclaim. Above all, he wholeheartedly believes in himself. “I f##### did it!!! My album out now 🤖Wow,” matter-of-factly expresses the former Griselda representative.
Although, back in 2017, The Machine signs with Eminem’s imprint. However, through Slim Shady’s label, this project serves as Conway’s sole release. In fact, according to Bootleg Kev, he plans to return to Griselda Records.
Be that as it may, the “Stressed” MC is enjoying his latest accomplishment. Nonetheless, he continues to emanate his ingrained confidence. Likewise, the actions of proven lyricist overwhelmingly seems to resonate with the world.
Consequently, as Conway The Machine boasts about his artistic acumen, Twitter readily applauds his efforts. Simply put, Mr. Price personifies self-assurance. In like manner, CTM shares his truth. “Nobody’s f##### with me!!!! That’s it, that’s the tweet. #GDMM out now!!”

2 Chainz and Lil Baby trade verses on 2 Chainz newest joint “Kingpen Ghostwriter” produced by Buddah Bless. Its classy, its industrial and its smokey as 2 Chainz gets busy on this head-spinning beat laced with heavy bass and a ascending violin. This one is dope song to burn up the road if you know what we mean.
Seeing that, a seemingly innocuous assertion comes to the attention of Lil’ Bow Wow. Although, this now viral meme begs the question, “Why are the people on this list considered corny?” However, he takes issues. In fact, Bow Wow claps back the “corny” classification. But, why does he take offense?
Of course, the now infamous assertion includes a host of notable folks. With this in mind, seven men working within the Entertainment field are under discussion. Furthermore, this post includes the likes of Logic, Nick Cannon, Childish Gambino, Bow Wow, Drake, Wayne Brady and Will Smith. So, Shad hops onto the comment section and offers a lengthy response.
Specifically, Kid Gangsta emphatically replies to the declaration. Although, the spotlight’s glare continues to illuminate his actions, both positive and negative. However, the established entrepreneur makes mention of his array of accomplishments.
Particularly, Mr. Moss appears confident with the man he has become. So, the adamant entertainer takes the time to break down his contributions to the culture. “Cuz we ain’t beefn w n#####? Because we aint shooting at n#####? This corny s### got all the b###### tho i guess they like htis corny s###,” he includes.
Next, the ATLien transplant delves deeper into his perspective. “Corny but all this money,” then he adds, “Corny because n##### ain’t got pending cases…”
On the whole, to combat the glib announcement, Bow Wow has many words. So, to find out more of his mindset be certain to read though the entire comment.
Of course, K.R.I.T. iz here! In fact, since 2012, he continues to officially release timeless music. So, why is Big K.R.I.T. alerting critics, “I’m not trapped in a box?”
Thus far, to Hip-Hop, Krizzle adds his signature perspective. As a matter of fact, his most recent effort, Digital Roses Don’t Die sublimely symbolizes his creativity. However, it is his artistry which is definitely piquing the interest of his day-one supporters.
Moreover, as the Meridian wordsmith constantly evolves his talent, his work will demonstrate such. On the other hand, his entrenched supporters may not be ready for the evolution. At the same time, the “The Vent” narrator openly addresses his critics.
For the purpose of organically interacting with his fanbase, the Mississippi MC, utilizes the power of social media. With this intention, a Reddit-backed #AskKRIT question and answer session ensues. Again, many of the exchanges are also appearing on Twitter.
Correspondingly, the dope lyricist candidly converses with the public. Soon, an intrigued individual pens an ardent inquiry. So, about his fifth studio album, the Roses rep responds to its examination.
Big K.R.I.T. On Lingering Criticism
“@BigK.R.I.T. loved the album! But whats your response to those fans who didn’t, due to the content change and the amount of singing vs rapping ? #AskKrit,” asks the concerned Twitter user. Immediately, the “Pick Up The Pace” rapper acknowledges the probe.
Thank you for listening. I appreciate it all the same. Ill continue to grow as an artist and create from the heart. Im thankful that I can share my words…singing or rapping. https://t.co/wdrFDPYSPI
Notwithstanding, the implied critique receives this urgent echo. So, the “What U Mean” wordsmith articulates his angle. “Thank you for listening. I appreciate it all the same. Ill continue to grow as an artist and create from the heart. Im thankful that I can share my words…singing or rapping.”
I just wanted to be creative and free. Unlike a sub i'm not trapped in a box. https://t.co/kdyk3SzxkZ
Above all, Big K.R.I.T. owns his lauded ability. Following, questions concerning his choice to delve “deeper into the R&B realm.” Here, the “Energy” MC readily replies. “I just wanted to be creative and free. Unlike a sub i’m not trapped in a box.”
Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on September 27, 1827, to free people of color of African American, European, and Native American ancestry, Revels initially worked as a barber after living with his older brother in Lincolnton, North Carolina.
He was apprenticed as a barber in his brother Elias’s shop. After Elias died in 1841, his widow Mary transferred the shop to Hiram Revels.
In 1845, Revels was ordained as a minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Church (AME).
Hiram R. Revels served as a preacher and teacher throughout the Midwest and met a great deal of opposition, including being imprisoned in Missouri in 1854.
Revels served as a chaplain in the United States Army after the outbreak of the American Civil War, and his efforts helped recruit and organize two black Union regiments.
In 1866, he settled in Natchez, Mississippi, and was elected as an alderman in Natchez in 1868. He was elected to represent Adams County in the Mississippi State Senate.
In 1870, Revels was elected in the Mississippi legislature to finish the term of one of the state’s vacant two seats in the U.S. Senate. Upon his arrival in Washington, D.C., Revels debated against Southern Democrats who opposed seating him, an argument Revels eventually won.
Hiram R. Revels was an ardent supporter of racial equality and worked hard to highlight the capability of African Americans to his fellow senators, and during his time, he served on the Committee of Education and Labor and the Committee on the District of Columbia.
Although Revels’ term only lasted from February 25, 1870, to March 3, 1871, he spent his time pushing for equality.
Some of his notable achievements in this time included speaking out against an amendment to keep Washington, D.C., schools segregated and nominating a young black man to the United States Military Academy. He also championed the cause of black workers who were barred from working at the Washington Navy Yard due to their color.
After his term as senator, Revels became the first president of Alcorn Agricultural and Mechanical College (now Alcorn State University), teaching philosophy.
He worked sporadically in politics between 1873 and his retirement in 1882, including serving as Mississippi’s secretary of state.
Hiram R. Revels passed away from a stroke on January 16, 1901, at 73.
Revels was the first African American to be a senator. His voice as a politician paved the way for famous black orators after him.
Despite political affiliations, we can see the influence of Revels in later figures, from Malcolm X to Johnnie Cochran. Revels is a shining example to anyone who wants to use their voice for the force of change.
Kanye West has been on a social media campaign aimed at Pete Davidson. Davidson is currently dating Kim Kardashian, and West took issue with the comedian being in a relationship with his estranged wife.
Part of his online takedown of 28-year-old Pete Davidson included Kanye West constantly referring to him as “Skete.” West, 44, also took verbal shots at Davidson on several of his songs. On the “Eazy” track, Ye rapped about wanting to “beat Pete Davidson’s ass.”
Last week, Davidson rejoined Instagram. Kanye West almost immediately started following the verified @pmd account. Then many of West’s fans began posting negative replies in Davidson’s IG comment section.
Kanye West bragged about supposedly causing Pete Davidson to leave Instagram. The Donda 2 album creator even referred to Davidson’s mother in a celebratory IG post about The Suicide Squad actor’s departure from social media.
Kanye West’s Instagram post about Pete Davidson
“Ran Skete off the gram. Tell your mother I changed your name for life,” wrote Kanye West on his own Instagram page. However, representatives for Pete Davidson are looking to slow down West’s victory lap.
A source told Page Six, “Pete deleted his IG because immediately after his first post he started receiving a flood of messages, both positive and negative, reminding him why he didn’t want social media to begin with.” The rep added, “Kanye didn’t drive Pete off social media.”
Kim Kardashian Warns Ye’s Behavior Could Be Dangerous
Additionally, in recent court documents, Kim Kardashian reportedly claimed Kanye West is causing her emotional distress. Kardashian officially filed for divorce from the father of her four children on February 19, 2021. They got married in May 2014.
Central Cee is making huge waves in the U.K rap scene, scoring a gold album for his first mixtape, Wild West, and spending 97 weeks in the U.K singles charts – 18 weeks in the Top 10 alone.
The West London rapper also scored six hit singles last year, eight if you count his collaborations with D-Block Europe and Ed Sheeran. A feat he could repeat after releasing his new project.
Cench debuted his new mixtape, 23, on Thursday night and dropped the video for “Khabib,” the project’s lead single.
The video sees Central Cee and his crew take over Chelsea Football Club’s Stamford Bridge Stadium. They also perform wheelies roaring around on motorcycles and spin donuts in a deserted parking lot. Watch the visuals below.

Meanwhile, on Thursday night, the rapper passed by Amazon Music’s +44 podcast for a live interview ahead of the tape’s release. He previewed a few of the new songs on Central Cee & Friends, during the sixty-minute countdown to the project’s release.
He discussed the international drill collaboration “Eurovision,” which features two artists from each of 3 European countries, France, Spain, and Italy, plus “2 man from the ends – me and A2anti.” He believes his close relationship and collaboration with European rappers set the current trend for U.K rappers to work with their E.U counterparts.
And if all that wasn’t enough, he also released his latest collection for clothing brand Trapstar London.
