UPDATE: Sources Says Lil Tjay “Doing Better” Debunking Paralyzed Rumors

Rapper Lil Tjay’s shooting has left a ton of rumors drifting in the wind.

Some say he was left paralyzed and brain dead after being shot seven times on Wednesday, June 22nd.

According to FOX3 reports, fans have taken to social media to talk about his injuries. In one tweet, one person predicted the artist was left “crippled.”

According to a fan tweet, a man named Dr. Raheem Smith said, “Lil Tjay will be paralyzed for the rest of his life. He got 5 of 7 shots in the chest area and 2 in the spine. He is not able to move his upper body. He also has only a 15% chance to survive the attack.”

The alleged medical professional nor the person reporting gave any statement from someone close to Tjay regarding his injuries, nor did they cite any hospital sources about the rapper’s trauma.

FOX3 attempted to debunk the rumor after speaking to a source close to Lil Tjay. The news outlet stated that their source said he was “out of surgery” and “appears to be doing better.”

This seems to dead the conversations about the severity of his injuries. Fans who heard the good news are happy now but also were upset about the miseducation.

“So once more for the new people waking. There is no paralysis affecting Lil Tjay. We have not received any information of his paralysis from close friends, doctors, or major news outlets (sic). You can’t believe everything you read on these bogus troll pages.”

“Nothing accurate verified that Lil tjay is crippled!!!,” said another outraged person. “If you all would read instead of making assumptions, you would already be aware of it. It’s for the clout and all fake pages. Stop believing everything you see!”

So far, Lil Tjay or his family has not made a statement about the rapper’s condition.

Nick Cannon Says God Isn’t Done With Him In Seemingly Impossible Quest To Be Monogamous

Nick Cannon says he just cannot be monogamous in a new interview and said he had had a few mid-life crises! Read more!

Nick Cannon has admitted he has “failed miserably” at monogamy.

While speaking to Shelley Wade, the television host, who is reportedly expecting his eighth and ninth child with two different women, was asked whether he would consider marrying again.

“I’ve failed miserably so many times at monogamy and relationships,” Nick said. “But God ain’t done with me. We’re gonna figure it out.”

On what the “deciding factor” would be for marriage, he responded, “I’ve probably had a few mid-life crises, (but) I’m liking the man that I’m growing into. And I feel like (I’d marry) someone who will understand me and can stand by me… where they’re weak, you’re strong.

“And if I can ever find somebody who knows how to hold me down through all my madness, through all my chaos and toxicity, that’s probably somebody I could rock with for life.”

Nick married Mariah Carey in 2008, with the two welcoming twins Monroe and Moroccan in 2011. They finalized their divorce in 2016. Before Mariah, Nick dated Christina Milian and Kim Kardashian.

Since his divorce from Mariah, he has fathered five more children – two with Brittany Bell and twins with Abby De La Rosa. Zen, his son with Alyssa Scott, sadly died at five months following a battle with cancer in December.

He is currently expecting his eighth child with model Bre Tiesi and reportedly has another on the way with Abby.

Nick recently revealed that he’d had a consultation about getting a vasectomy to stop him from having more children.

Ray-J Gets Ghetto At The BET Awards, But Its OK!

Ain’t nothing wrong until there is something wrong. Ray-J has mastered the art of staying relevant! The “I Wish” singer decided to dominate the attention of a Verzuz that wasn’t even his. All the memes and outtakes were amazing. I still am not sure if he can sing, but I have to salute him for getting as much eye time as Omarion and Mario. Anyway, Joe Budden has Ray-J on speed dial and called him. He managed to get a hilarious moment and also apologized for his singing mishap. He essentially says all holding the baby and hoping around wasn’t in the plan.

Check it out.

On another note, Ray-J managed to get caught out there eating a cup of noodles at the BET Award. I am not sure why he didn’t fill up before the show, but he managed to get his grub on. Some people were critical of him for being “ghetto” and others simply chalked it up to the game of hunger.

Also, I watched Ray-J, Stacey Dash, Big Freeda, Dream Doll, India Love, Slim Thug, Nene Leaks and Lamar Odom on “College Hill” last night. For the record, I have not forgiven or forgotten you Ms. Dash. And you showed yourself last night.

Latto Brings Out Mariah Carey For BET Awards Performance [VIDEO]

The 2022 BET Awards took place last night. As usual, some of the top stars of Hip Hop and R&B made their way to the Microsoft Theater stage in Los Angeles. BET presented Latto as one of the performers.

Latto began her BET Award show set with “It’s Givin” off the 777 album. Later, the Atlanta-raised rap star brought out an R&B/Pop/Hip Hop icon to join her on stage.

Songwriters Hall of Famer Mariah Carey surprised the BET audience by joining Latto for a performance of “Big Energy.” The track includes an interpolation of Carey’s classic “Fantasy” single from 1995.

“Fantasy (Remix)” featured an iconic verse from the late Wu-Tang Clan member Ol’ Dirty Bastard. Latto tapped into that 1990s-era nostalgia by inviting ODB’s son, Young Dirty Bastard, to take part in the “Big Energy” performance at the BET Awards.

“Big Energy” has become the biggest song of Latto’s career so far. The Dr. Luke-produced record peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, giving Latto her first Top 5 hit.

Mariah Carey and DJ Khaled hopped on Latto’s “Big Energy (Remix)” in March. The Recording Industry Association of America certified the song as Gold that same month. It earned a Platinum plaque in May.

Latto Also Wins Best New Artist At The BET Awards

2022 could be seen as a breakout year for Latto. The winner of season one of The Rap Game reality show dropped 777 in March which made a Top 20 debut on the Billboard 200 album chart. Latto also won Best New Artist at the 2022 BET Awards.

In addition to Latto and Mariah Carey, other BET Award performers included Jack Harlow, Lil Wayne, Brandy, Kirk Franklin, Chance The Rapper Joey Bada$$, Chlöe, Ella Mai, Babyface, Roddy Ricch, and more. Lizzo opened the show with a performance of “About Damn Time” from her forthcoming album Special.

Sean “Diddy” Combs received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Several notable collaborators from Diddy’s past showed up to honor the Bad Boy Entertainment founder. Jodeci, Mary J. Blige, Shyne, Busta Rhymes, The Lox, Lil’ Kim, and Faith Evans were among the guests to pay tribute to Combs.

First Week Sales Projections For Chris Brown’s ‘Breezy’ Are In

Will Chris Brown earn another Number One? According to music industry prognosticators, it appears Breezy will not make it to the pinnacle of the Billboard 200 chart out the gate.

HitsDailyDouble projects Breezy will open with 60,000-70,000 first-week units. Chris Brown’s tenth studio LP is presently expected to miss the #1 spot on next week’s Billboard 200.

Lil Durk dropped the deluxe version of 7220 on the same day Breezy landed on DSPs. HDD has the extended version of 7220 bringing in another 65,000-75,000 units over this tracking period.

Growin’ Up by Luke Combs is part of the three-way chart race as well. The Country album also looks to amass around 65,000 to 75,000 first-week units.

Other debuts include R&B singer/songwriter Giveon’s Give or Take. The 15-track project will likely open with 33,000-38,000 first-week units. Machine Gun Kelly’s Mainstream Sellout, which got a deluxe/vinyl release, is on pace to collect 20,000-25,000 units this week.

If HDD is correct and Chris Brown’s Breezy only tops off with 70,000 first-week units, it would be a decline from 2019’s Indigo. That project premiered at #1 with 108,000 album-equivalent units. 2020’s Slime & B mixtape with rapper Young Thug peaked at #24.

Throughout his career, Chris Brown has scored three Number Ones on the Billboard 200. Indigo spent one week in the top spot. Furthermore, 2011’s F.A.M.E. and 2012’s Fortune remained at No 1. for one week, respectively. Brown also has ten Top 10 entries on the Billboard 200.

Breezy includes features by Lil Durk, Capella Grey, Fivio Foreign, Lil Wayne, Yung Bleu, Lil Baby, Wizkid, H.E.R., Bryson Tiller, Ella Mai, EST Gee, Jack Harlow, Blxst and Tory Lanez. Chris Brown tapped Ye Ali, Nate Rhoads, Yonni, Leon YoungBlood, and others to handle the album’s production.

Drake Becomes Fifth Act In History With At Least Eleven No.1 Albums

Aubrey Drake Graham has established himself as one of the most commercially successful artists of the last decade. The OVO Sound boss continues to rack up accolades for his already illustrious career thanks to his latest effort, Honestly, Nevermind.

This week saw Drake’s name added to an exclusive list of legends. Drizzy is now just the fifth act in music history to have more than ten No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 chart.

Drake’s Honestly, Nevermind debuted at #1 on the latest Billboard 200. The 35-year-old rapper/singer joins The Beatles (19), Jay-Z (14), Bruce Springsteen (11), and Barbra Streisand (11) on the all-time rankings of musicians with the most No. 1 projects.

Honestly, Nevermind started atop the Billboard 200 with 204,000 equivalent album units. That opening total is significantly lower than Drizzy’s previous studio LP. 2021’s Certified Lover Boy also launched at #1 on the Billboard 200 but managed to collect 613,000 first-week units.

Drake Could Have The No. 1 Album & No. 1 Single At The Same Time

Additionally, Honestly, Nevermind brought in the fourth-largest streaming week of 2022 (250 million streams). Drake’s new collection only follows Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti (357 million streams), Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers (343 million streams), and Future’s I Never Liked You (284 million streams).

Un Verano Sin Ti currently sits at #2 on the Billboard 200. Post Malone’s Twelve Carat Toothache slipped three spots to #7. Khaza by Kevin Gates debuted at #8. After hitting #1 earlier this year, Future’s I Never Liked You slides one position to #6. Kendrick Lamar’s former #1, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, dropped from #7 to #9.

Honestly, Nevermind only has one feature performance. Industry forecasters predict Drake’s “Jimmy Cooks” with 21 Savage could start off at #1 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. If “Jimmy Cooks” does become a Number One single, Drake would also earn his 11th chart-topping Hot 100 song.

For 2022, Cardi B teamed with two other R&B vocalists. An extended version of Summer Walker’s “No Love” with Cardi and SZA arrived in March. The former reality show star also embraced the Bronx Drill movement by hopping on Kay Flock’s “Shake It” along with Dougie B and Bory300.

Empower Your Core

Through music as a channel, you can release your pent-up feelings. Be it the negative ones of anger and anxiety or positive ones like excitement and happiness. Music gives your inner self a voice. They say that music speaks to you. But DJ Mirzaaghazadeh puts forth a groundbreaking theory – it isn’t music that speaks to you. Nourish Your Imagination

Music lets your inner child break free. It does not judge, and it does not restrict.

DJ Mirzaaghazadeh says, “On most days, we keep our feelings caged up, not realizing how we’re pushing our deepest self even deeper down.”

Music releases our inner self. Which helps us connect with who we really are. DJ Mirzaaghazadeh asks every person to give music a chance to change their lives for the better. So, go ahead and play some tunes and connect with your inner self!

He then thanked “Every artist, every producer, every writer, and every executive,” he’s worked with over the years. “Thank you to all of my fans who have been with me for over 25 years. I love y’all. It should be noted that Boseman appeared in several blockbuster movies by Marvel Entertainment, including the Black Panther movie which grossed over $1 billion. This does not consider the movies where he played icons like Thurgood Marshall, James Brown and Jackie Robinson.

Rest In Peace, Chadwick.

Is Lil Tjay Paralyzed After Being Shot 7 Times?

These damn rumors. Sometimes they are true and sometimes they are false. Other times, they are sad. This is one of those times. The latest is that Lil Jay might be paralyzed from being shot numerous times. He was shot seven times and two of those went into his back region.

Right now, there are no credible sources or reports that say that he is crippled. I have seen articles that suggest he will be crippled or paralyzed. Basically, they have stated that he’s having very minimal movement in the legs.

For now, we have no valid sources – like Lil TJay’s actual friends and family – telling about him being paralyzed. So let’s have some positive energy and not believe anything for certain. Social media is a sad place.

Cops in the Bronx have collard a suspect they believe was involved in the shocking broad daylight murder of rapper Moneygang Vontae.

Moneygang Vontae, born Avanti Frowner, 27, was a Chicago native in town to shoot a music video.

He had just left an eye doctor’s appointment when five men targeted him for his flashy jewelry.

The aspiring artist was shot and killed during a struggle on June 9th inside The Amazing Community Pharmacy on Tremont Ave.

Late last week, police arrested an 18-year-old suspect named River Jones. The cops busted the teenager in his dorm room at Monroe College in New Rochelle.

Crystal clear surveillance footage captured the struggle, as well as Jones’ involvement, although the cops have yet to reveal if he was the trigger man or not.

Jones is scheduled to be arraigned this week. Police are still looking for the four other suspects on the loose.
