Megan Thee Stallion Looks Amazing At Her Surprise Birthday Party!

You got to love Megan Thee Stallion. I know a lot of people hate her for that whole Tory Lanez situation, but I think more people got love for her. And I think they want to see her healthy and whole. That said, Meg is a member of the Aquarian Nation and it looks like her man Pardi gave her a surprise party. Her friends and family were surrounding her. She was legit shocked.

What’s crazy is that there have been break-up rumors surrounding them for quite a minute. Gladly, that is not the case. I think those rumors started, because she does not follow him on IG. He follows her though. Not sure why that would be an issue, but the internets do what they do.

Pardi took it all in stride.

Lil TJay Gets Ice Spice A Richard Mille Watch But Reports Denies Dating Rumors

Despite what people think about their chemistry, Lil TJay and Ice Spice say they are just friends.

Sure, on Valentine’s Day, he got her a six-figure watch from one of the world’s premier watch designers, Richard Mille. But they insist nothing is going on but a platonic situation.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, the two recently collaborated on the Billboard Hot 100 Single “Gangsta Boo,” shooting the video and getting into mirroring each other’s same-day NYPD traffic trouble.

But over the last couple of days, it was revealed by Benny the Jeweler on social media that Lil Tjay dropped a big bag on his friend.

“When You Say You The King Of The City You Gotta Step Different EVERYTIME New Richard Millie RM-05 Rose Gold Gifted To @icespice from my brotha @liltjay,” he captioned.

According to TMZ, a source close to the Bronx Bombshell, says the two are just friends.

Where can we get friends like that? Psst … Chuck and Grouchy … uhm … helloooo!

Troy Ave Expected To Testify Against Taxstone In Upcoming Murder Trial

A murder trial involving podcaster Taxstone is on its way and Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave is expected to take the stand and testify regarding the fatal shooting of his bodyguard.

Prosecutors have revealed the state has two cooperating witnesses. Reports say Troy Ave and Malcom Kinyon, a drug dealer from Poughkeepsie, NY are working with the court.

Troy Ave signed a cooperation agreement with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office in 2017.

The rivalry between the two has been chronicled in the streets and throughout Hip-Hop lore for years. It has also become deadly.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, one incident on May 25, 2016, where the two came to lick shots outside of an Atlanta T.I. concert, lead to the death of Troy Ave’s bodyguard Ronald “Banga” McPhatter.

Troy Ave was shot in the leg, and three other people were wounded after being struck by gunfire.

Authorities later found the semiautomatic handgun used in Banga’s killing and forensic evidence discovered Taxstone’s DNA was on the firearm.

Taxstone has already been to trial regarding federal gun charges related to the crime but has not been sentenced. That will be done once the murder trial is over.

Black Militia Connects with DJ Chose for Valentines Day Themed Single, “I’m Not Them”

Today Hip-Hop group Black Militia releases their new single, “I’m Not Them” taken from their album, No Friends.  A collaboration with DJ Chose, the record is made exclusively for ladies just in time for Valentines Day.  Composed of XO, Yung CEO and Ace Luciano this trio is making sure the ladies know they are appreciated.

Situated halfway between Houston and Baton Rouge Hip-Hop group Black Militia are bringing a newer sound that exudes current sonics and melodies that highlights Black Militia’s lyrics, rhyme structure and ability to make good music.

“I’ve always had a love for music, way before it was as easily accessible to make. I always wondered how songs were put together and what went into making them. Once home recording became possible I was stuck in my room as a teenager trying to figure it out. I’m still pretty much the same now, a studio rat,” XO of Black Militia said.

In what has become a regular sign of appreciation in mid-February around Valentines day, Black Militia gives the ladies what they want for V-Day as DJ Chose handles the chorus in this Valentines Day hustler anthem.

“DJ Chose is on the chorus and it’s super relatable to all hustlers trying to make time for the women in their lives,” Black Militia explained.

With their production being handled by Thisabeats and SS Filmz on the video production, this is a Dream Team effort that’s sure to shed light on the musical coronation that is due for Black Militia hailing out of Lake Charles..

While some fans may be just learning about Black Militia, they have big plans for the next few months and the release of their music.

“We plan to release the album and a few more singles and videos we have stashed in the vault. I’m always in the studio but I’m working on my solo and another Black Militia album with my group members Yung CEO and Ace Luciano.

Florida Daycare Under Fire For Painting Toddlers In Blackface For Black History Month

One daycare in Miami, FL is facing fire after one instructor planned a Black History Month activity where the children’s faces were painted black to portray African American characters. This was done without the parents’ permission.

According to CNN, a mother, whose child attended the Studio Kids Little River preschool, was outraged when she saw the pictures of her 1-year-old daughter with darkened skin. On Feb. 3, a school staffer posted the images on the school’s messaging app with the message, “Black history month.”

“You’re a certified, established institution, you should know better. I mean, ignorance on – about racism in 2023 is no longer ignorant, in my opinion,” Courtney Politis said.

Patricia Vitale, the preschool’s owner and director, declined to comment on the incident publicly, but extended an apology to the community in a mass email to the daycare’s stakeholders, “We have not intended to offend anyone, and we’re very sorry about any inconvenience.”

“We wanted to let all the parents know that we met on Friday afternoon with all the teachers and staff. We went over several ethical and multicultural education points. I will teach the team a class covering all the necessary topics regarding US history and multicultural education … you may rest assured this will never happen again,” she double-backed three days later to say.

Politis has since pulled her children from the school.

“The bottom line is we can’t trust them with our children all apologies aside,” she said. “I thought we would have more time before these sorts of things or racism or microaggressions would have to be experienced by our children. So, the fact that you can’t, I feel like I can’t protect my children from what’s happening is probably the most disappointing and upsetting of all of this.”

Jada Pinkett Smith Produces Docu-Drama ‘African Queens: Njinga’

Jada Pinkett Smith has stepped up from behind the Red Table Talks to get back into her creative lane. Nope, she is not starring as an actor in another blockbuster film she did in “The Matrix” series or Will Packer’s “Girls Trip.”

Pinkett Smith is in her executive producer bag, dropping a docu-drama hybrid that is rooted in African history.

Njinga Promotional Image (Netflix)

She announced the project earlier this month saying, “Blending dramatization with documentary, African Queens: Njinga traces the rise and reign of Queen Njinga of Angola amid family betrayal and political rivalries. African Queens: Njinga series premieres February 15, 2023, only on @netflix .”

Nestled in between Black History Month and Women’s History Month, Pinkett Smith is presenting to the world “African Queens: Njinga.” The Baltimore native also narrates the project.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Njinga” is the first of an ongoing series about the queens of the Motherland. The next season to be rolled out will be about the life and times of a very popular queen, Cleopatra.

Based in the 17th century, Njinga ruled over the Ndongo empire, now known as Angola. These four parts (all 45 minutes) delve into her life and shows her from being a young princess to a fierce warrior, standing up against European forces like the Portuguese with their insatiable appetites for human bodies.

This is perfectly scheduled. After the success of films like “Woman King” and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” the world seems ready to see powerful African women on screen.

Rihanna did exceptionally well on Apple Music since Super Bowl LVII. Sunday was the Roc Nation artist’s all-time biggest streaming day on the platform. Her concurrent worldwide Apple Music listeners total jumped 331%.

Over on Spotify, nine Rihanna singles climbed into the Top 20 of the streamer’s Daily Top Songs USA chart dated February 13. That same day saw “Umbrella” featuring Jay-Z climb 66 spots to #15 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart.

The NFL’s full Apple Music Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show video on YouTube collected 51 million views in three days. Rihanna’s mid-game set included “B#### Better Have My Money,” “Work,” “Umbrella,” “Diamonds,” and other records from her discography.

According to projections by HitsDailyDouble, two albums by Rihanna will return to the Billboard 200’s Top 20 on next week’s chart. 2016’s Anti is on pace to jump back to #13. Good Girl Gone Bad from 2007 will likely rise to #17.

Lil Durk Meets With Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot

The 2023 Chicago mayoral election will take place on February 28. Five of the candidates, including incumbent Lori Lightfoot, attended a meeting with Chicago-raised rap star Lil Durk.

Yesterday, Lil Durk posted photos with Lori Lightfoot and other local officials to his verified Instagram account. The Voice of the Heroes album creator also shared a message with his followers.

“If I haven’t been picking up my phone I [have] been busy being a neighborhood hero! #PaveTheWay,” wrote Durk on Instagram. That post amassed over 5,000 comments and 500,000 likes in ten hours.

According to the WGN-TV website, the mayoral candidates sat down with around thirty high school students on Tuesday. Lil Durk’s Neighborhood Heroes Foundation hosted the “Dinner with Durk” event.

“Tonight is an opportunity for us to express what goes on in our neighborhood and what we want to see change,” 17-year-old Melvin Bush told the outlet. “[The election] is an important thing that determines our future and the future of our communities as well.”

Lori Lightfoot became the first LGBT Black woman elected mayor of a major United States city when she won the runoff election in 2019. The Democratic politician achieved internet fame the following year as the “Where’s Lightfoot” meme went viral during the COVID-19 shutdowns.

In addition to Mayor Lightfoot, Lil Durk met with fellow office seekers Ja’Mal Green, Kam Buckner, Brandon Johnson, and Roderick Sawyer. Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx also attended “Dinner with Durk” at Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse.

Kim Foxx is best known nationally for recusing herself from the 2019 hate crime hoax case involving Empire actor Jussie Smollett. The former Cabrini-Green Housing Project resident also oversaw the state’s sex abuse case against R&B singer R. Kelly.

Bia Accused Of Biting Ice Spice’s Sound

Bronx-raised newcomer Ice Spice is one of the hottest rappers at the moment. Fellow East Coast rapper Bia has been grinding on the music scene for several years.

This week saw Bia share a nearly 1-minute snippet of an upcoming song to her TikTok page. Many commenters accused the Massachusetts native of copying Ice Spice’s sound for the teased track.

“I literally would think this was Ice Spice if I heard it,” wrote one TikTok user in Bia’s comment section. Another person posted, “Ice Spice has kids?” Other people suggested Bia recruit Ice Spice as a feature.

I’m doing the race!!! 🏃🏽‍♀️💔 #fyp #foru #happyvalentinesday

Bia’s For Certain EP peaked at #64 on the Billboard 200 chart in 2021. That project hosts both the original “Whole Lotta Money” track as well as the remix version with Hip Hop legend Nicki Minaj.

“Whole Lotta Money” (#16) became a Top 20 entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Bia also made it onto the Hot 100 thanks to “Best On Earth” with Russ (#46) and “London” with J. Cole (#62).

Bia appeared on Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl (Queen Mix)” along with JT, Katie Got Bandz, Akbar V, and Maliibu Miitch. Additionally, her catalog includes records with Lil Durk, G Herbo, J Balvin, David Guetta, and more.

Ice Spice’s “Munch (Feelin’ U)” single went viral in 2022. She dropped the Like..? EP in January. Her “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2” collaboration with PinkPantheress has become a streaming hit since its release earlier this month.

Hitman Holla & Eazy The Block Captain Heated Faceoff Ahead Of Remy Ma Anniversary Event

Remy Ma shook the battle rap culture when she announced Hitman Holla vs. Eazy The Block Captain as the main event for her upcoming Chrome 23 anniversary event

The Bronx native launched her league last year using both her experience as a battle rapper and industry artist alongside her business acumen to create “a new female battle rap league, for women supporting women and run by women pushing the culture forward equally.”

In the 12 months since, Chrome 23 has played host to battle rap legends and newcomers alike, with a focus on spotlighting female talent. In addition to holding several successful star-studded events, Remy Ma staged the first-ever all-woman battle rap tournament. The historic competition comes with a mammoth $25,000 prize.

The winner will be determined during the anniversary event next weekend (Feb. 25), headlined by a highly anticipated clash between one of battle rap’s biggest stars and one of the most exciting talents of the new era.

St Louis battle rap legend Hitman Holla takes on Philly rising star Eazy the Block Captain in a match-up that neither man is willing to lose. Since the announcement, the pair have exchanged shots online and during interviews with Joe Budden and Jason Lee.

Hitman Holla & Eazy The Block Captain Get Heated

The simmering tensions bubbled over in a heated faceoff on Wednesday evening after they came face-to-face for the first time since inking the deal. At one point, the situation became so fractious that host Jay Blac was forced to step in between Hitman and Eazy, attempting to restore calm. Ultimately, a security guard had to intervene while both artists continued the verbal fisticuffs. Check out the clips shared by 15MinsOfFame and OTFMZ below.

Meanwhile, Eazy ruffled Hitman’s feathers during his recent appearance on the Joe Budden Podcast.

“Aye man is Eazy on drugs??? Seriously? What year do he think I started battle rapping ??” the Wild ‘N Out star penned earlier this week.

Also on the card is the tournament final between C3 and Kausion, where the ladies are fighting for bragging rights in addition to the $25k prize money.

Three other exciting match-ups complete the card. Women’s battle rap legends Ms. Hustle and Shooney Da Rapper will go head-to-head alongside a “rookies vs. vets” style battle between O’fficial and Pristavia. A. Ward makes his Chrome 23 debut against 2020’s female battle rapper of the year, Viixen The Assassin.

Remy Ma and Chrome 23’s The Anniversary event will take place at Sony Hall, NY, on Feb. 25. Tickets are available here or will be available via live PPV at RapGrid.

Don Toliver Talks Working With SZA On Her ‘SOS’ Album

Don Toliver delivered his latest single, “4 Me” featuring Kali Uchis, this week. The Houston-bred rapper and the Colombian-American singer began dating in 2020.

In addition to dropping a new collaboration with his girlfriend, Don Toliver contributed to SZA’s chart-topping SOS studio album. The Travis Scott protégé appeared on the DJ Dahi-produced “Used” track.

Toliver recently took part in a new interview with Apple Music 1’s The Zane Lowe Show. During the discussion, the musician born Caleb Zackery Toliver discussed working with SZA on her sophomore LP.

Don Toliver Says The ‘SOS’ Album Is “Beyond Amazing”

“To be honest, the song was in a pack for a little bit. It was just one of those things where I’m like, ‘Whenever she drops her album, I’m pretty sure she would’ve put that song on there,'” explained Don Toliver.

The Life of a Don album creator continued, “When I got the call that she was actually using it, I was just beyond excited, man. That album is beyond amazing. For me to be a part of it was just crazy. Big, big shout-out to SZA for that.”

Life of a Don came out in 2021. It followed 2020’s Heaven or Hell. Both albums peaked in the Billboard 200’s Top 10 region. “4 Me” featuring Kali Uchis is expected to live on a forthcoming project tentatively titled Lovesick.

“Man, the year looks amazing. I’m releasing music here. I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve,” Toliver told Lowe. He added, “I feel like Friday I have a crazy, crazy announcement. One of the biggest announcements I ever made in my life.”

“4 Me” Borrows From Beenie Man

Don Toliver’s “4 Me” interpolates Beenie Man’s 2000 hit “Girls Dem Sugar” featuring R&B singer Mýa. The Neptunes produced that track. “Girls Dem Sugar” charted in several countries including the United States and the United Kingdom.

“I’m 100% inspired by the original song. Honestly, when I was in high school, I picked up on a lot of songs that I would always hear when I would go to school in the morning,” said Don Toliver about “Girls Dem Sugar.”

The Cactus Jack recording artist added, “I’ve forever been a fan of Neptunes as well. This is just a full-circle moment for me. It was really crazy. Wheezy sent me an Instagram Story with the song on it. I was just like, ‘Yo, let’s make this a beat.'”

Erykah Badu Addresses Urban Legend About Her Bedroom Powers

Many fans and journalists refer to Erykah Badu as the Queen of Neo-Soul. The R&B legend from Texas broke out as a musical tour de force with 1997’s Baduizm studio LP.

Over the years, Badu also built a reputation for supposedly having mystical powers that changes the men she dates. For example, André 3000 and Common altered their personal style around the time the two Hip Hop stars were in respective relationships with the Dallas native.

Television personality Tamron Hall spoke with Erykah Badu for an episode of her daytime talk show. At one point, the conversation veered toward the long-running urban legend about Badu’s apparent mesmerizing aura.

“I think it is indescribable,” said Badu about the rumors of her spellbinding power. “And the bedroom? That’s not where you’re going to find it because my magic doesn’t lie between my thighs. It lies between my ears.”

In addition to Baduizm, Erykah Badu release other albums such as 2000’s Mama’s Gun and 2003’s Worldwide Underground. Her discography contains classic singles like “On & On,” “Tyrone,” “Bag Lady,” and “Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip-Hop)” featuring Common.

Badu has toured around the world for the last four decades, including 2022’s The Digging Crystals in Badubotron Tour. Tamron Hall asked the 4-time Grammy winner about potentially headlining a future Super Bowl Halftime Show.

“I might. Depending on the circumstances and everything,” answered the former Grambling State University student. “Tam, they [tiptoe] around me. You know the corporations don’t know what I’m gonna do.”

Badu added, “I might go on the Superbowl and ask for corporate reparations, I mean right now. They never know what’s going to happen so they tip real easy around me. Yes, they do. As they should.”

Will Smith To Be Joined By Michael B. Jordan In ‘I Am Legend’ Sequel

A sequel for I Am Legend starring Will Smith is in the works, nearly 15 years on from the $585 million blockbuster that hit the big screen in 2007.

The movie’s original star Will Smith, will return as Dr. Robert Neville. He will also take on the duty of producer in the upcoming sequel.

Black Panther and Creed star Michael B. Jordan, joins Smith. His role is yet to be revealed but he’s also reportedly producing the project alongside Will Smith.

Wait. Didn’t Will Smith Die in ‘I Am Legend?’

Fans may be confused about Will Smith reprising his role, seeing as he died during the original. However, Akiva Goldsman, who returns as writer after adapting the 1954 Richard Matheson novel, said Matheson’s book features an alternate ending not included in the first film.

“This will start a few decades later than the first,” he explained in a statement, as per Deadline. “I’m obsessed with The Last of Us, where we see the world just post-apocalypse but also after a 20-30-year lapse. You see how the earth reclaims the world, and there’s something beautiful in the question of, as man steps away from being the primary tenant, what happens? That will be especially visual in New York. I don’t know if they’ll climb up to the empire state building, but the possibilities are endless.”

Goldsman added, “We trace back to the original Matheson book, and the alternate ending as opposed to the released ending in the original film. What Matheson was talking about was that man’s time on the planet as the dominant species had come to an end. That’s a really interesting thing we’re going to get to explore. There will be a little more fidelity to the original text.”

Meanwhile, in other Will Smith news, the 54-year-old actor and his Bad Boys co-star Martin Lawrence recently announced that they were reuniting for a fourth installment of the popular series.

Remy Ma Addresses Cardi B Trolling Nicki Minaj With Remy Profile Pic

Back in October, Cardi B updated her Twitter profile photo to one of Remy Ma amid her online beef with JT.

The NYC hitmaker and the City Girl spent a day firing shots at each other online after Cardi felt slighted that JT left her out of a “Tomorrow 2” congratulatory tweet aimed at Cardi’s collaborator GloRilla.

They exchanged insults on social media before Nicki Minaj entered the fray, opting to change her Twitter avi to a JT pic. Cardi B seemingly responded by switching her profile image to one of Nicki’s own nemesis, Remy Ma.

“I ain’t even do nothing,” Remy Ma replied when the topic came up during her recent interview with Jason Lee. She denied it was a sub stating, “I ain’t catch a stray, hold up, be clear.” However, she kept her eyes peeled for any reactions to the move.

“I was at home like this,” she explained, sipping on her drink to indicate her reaction. “Waiting with my notifications on.”

While Remy Ma was unbothered, some of her followers were heated. They sent messages urging her to have Cardi B change her photo and accusing the rapper of “impersonation.”

Remy Ma Says She’s Been Cool With Cardi B “For Years”

Nonetheless, Remy insisted, “I don’t care. At all.” She later added, “I f### with Cardi,” stating she has done “for years.” Jason Lee reminded Remy that they all used to have a group chat. “You got to get that group chat back,” she stated.  Check out the clip below and watch the interview at the end of the page. Hitman Holla joined Remy Ma to discuss her upcoming Chrome 23 Anniversary event.

Cardi B kept the Remy Ma photo until very recently, only changing it early this month. She replaced the pic with one of You star Penn Badgley after making an appearance of sorts in the show she loves so much. The superfan’s song “I Like It,” featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin, appeared in the first episode of season 4.

T-Pain Shuns Auto-Tune To Showcase “Natural Voice” On New Covers Album

T-Pain listened to his fans and is finally delivering a highly anticipated new project of cover songs featuring tracks from multiple genres.

While he is known as the king of autotune, T-Pain proved he sings with the best of them during his pared-down Tiny Desk concert nearly a decade ago.

He first hinted at the project on social media earlier this week. “Anything that T-Pain covers or remixes is always so hard,’ tweeted a fan. The two-time Grammy Award winner replied, “Buckle up cause I got an announcement coming tomorrow.”

“You’ve been asking for it and here ya go bro,” he penned on Instagram alongside the album cover art. “A T-Pain cover album to end all cover albums…..from T-Pain. “On Top Of The Covers” dropping March 17th alongside an intimate set of shows. More on that later tho 👀 … so stay tuned for more updates.”

Under the Covers will include renditions of Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come,” Frank Sinatra’s “That’s Life,” Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show’s “Sharing The Night Together,” and Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin.’”

In a statement, T-Pain promised to use his “natural voice,” which will be “front and centre” of the project.

“This covers album has been years in the making. I started recording this right after I won The Masked Singer (in 2019),” he revealed. “It got put on hold for a bit but now that I’m independent, I’m able to do whatever I want to do through (label) Nappy Boy Entertainment and this is something I’ve felt strongly about for a long time.”

In addition, to support his first offering since 2019’s 1UP, T-Pain will perform two back-to-back concerts in Los Angeles on Mar. 17-18.

“LOS ANGELES!!!! Hold on to your Jheri curls,” the rapper/singer warned while sharing the event poster.

Rihanna “Went Straight Into Protective Mode” After Paparazzi Took Unauthorized Pic Of Baby

Before giving birth, Rihanna warned, “I’m going to be psycho,” as a parent, promising to be a fiercely protective mother, especially concerning shielding her child from the public.

After welcoming their son last year, A$AP Rocky and Rihanna have kept a relatively low profile, and fans don’t know much about their baby, including his name, save for what the family has shared.

The first glimpse of the baby last December came as a surprise to fans. Rihanna joined TikTok to share a cute video of the little one giggling in his car seat. The couple also shared a few images with the public via Hollywood Unlocked.

The new family shared their first official photo shoot with the world on Wednesday (Feb. 15), covering British Vogue. However, in the accompanying interview, Rihanna revealed an unauthorized paparazzi snap taken during that shoot forced the couple to unveil their baby before the unofficial pics did.

A post shared by badgalriri (@badgalriri)

She recalled her horror after realizing a photographer had snapped them from afar during the shoot on a Malibu beach.

“It’s the thing you never want to happen,” Rihanna admitted. “We get to decide as parents when and how we do that. End of story.”

While she’s not crazy about the paparazzi, the star of last weekend’s Super Bowl Halftime Show has come to terms with them. However, when it comes to their son, A$AP Rocky and Rihanna insist their son is off limits.

“Throw me to the wolves. Do what you want with me. But he doesn’t have a say in any of this,” Rihanna declared. “We’ve been protecting him thus far and you don’t have any consent to be posting photos or selling photos of my child, a minor. Get the hell out of here with that.”

The superstar couple moved fast once they realized the photos would soon be public.

“I just went straight into protective mode,” Rihanna recalled. “Like there wasn’t even time for rage. [Rocky and me] drove up to the trailer area and we sat in the car chatting and working out how we move forward. As parents it just feels so icky, like a violation.”

They ultimately decided to share a few images from her camera roll. “As we were speaking, we knew they were making calls and deals,” she added.

What’s The Message Pusha T And Lil Nas X Are Sending? [Pics]

I promise this is not a loaded question. It is a question and I would like the answer. First of all, I do not know what the answer is and I do not have a speculative answer either. I simply seek understanding. So, here is the deal. Pusha T hit the New York Fashion Week scene in a most major way. King Push, Whoopi Goldberg, Queen Latifah, Lil Nas X, and others attended the Thom Browne show!

https://www.instagram.com/p/CosQEUjL54g/?igshid=YTgzYjQ4ZTY%3D

So, of course the internet went into hysterics over the fact that our neighborhood Pusha has a doggie pocketbook. I think it’s OK for folks to have questions, just off the strength of being fans for like 20 years or more. And then there was another picture that is also in circulation.

And this is the one where I was just wondering. the socks match but are on the opposite legs. I am just wondering why…how…what? You know, just how did this come about? I must say, I am very ignorant to this sort of world and so I want to know what is the deal here. Do you know? Hit me in the comments and that’s where I’ll be!

NLE Choppa Gives Lil Wayne His Flowers On Valentine’s Day!

Yesterday was the day of love all over the world! We celebrated Valentine’s Day in a myriad of ways! Some people posted their loves and the people in their lives that they adore. Others posted self love affirmations. Others still simply ignored the pagan holiday with no roots in anything other than a masscre that happened on February 14 way before all pf air times. That said, one of our favors guys, NLE Choppa did a wild departure from the standard fare. He made Lil Wayne his Hip-Hop Valentine.

I am not suggesting anything weird, but it is a bit weird. Until you read the letter that Choppa wrote Wayne.

“Dear Wayne, I simply wanted to physically gift you these flowers to symbolize my appreciation for you as an artist, icon and more importantly an inspiration. Growing up I had 3 favorites – Kobe, 2pac and the one and only Dwayne Carter!! I pray this is just the beginning to a big brother, lil brother relationship. With that being said I want to say THANK YOU, whole heartedly. Awards couldn’t even amount to how many lives you have changed and inspired. I am proud to be a part of both. Forever grateful.”

He also gave Wayne a couple dozen or so red roses.

Wayne responded to his baby bro after being given the flowers and skateboard.

“I appreciate that. This is my life right here. For real, for real. Whatever cameras, if y’all watching – be like this guy, man. Be like this guy. He’s a good guy, man. For real. I do this a lot. I’m on video sets a lot – new artists, old artists. This doesn’t happen. This doesn’t happen. He’s a great guy,” Wheezy said.

I ain’t made at ya’ll! Go on and make beautiful music together!

Rihanna Changed Her Mind About Performing At Super Bowl: Here’s Why

Rihanna explained why she agreed to do the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show in an interview with British Vogue.

The music superstar famously turned down a past offer to perform at the Super Bowl out of solidarity with Colin Kaepernick. A few years later, Rihanna decided the positives of performing at the NFL’s biggest game outweighed the negatives.

“There’s still a lot of mending to be done in my eyes,” she said. “But it’s powerful to break those doors, and have representation at such a high, high level and a consistent level.”

Rihanna referred to Dr. Dre’s set in 2022, adding, “Two Super Bowls back-to-back, you know, representing the urban community, globally. It is powerful. It sends a really strong message.”

The Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show marked Rihanna’s first live performance in years. Viewers were surprised to see her hit the stage with a baby bump. Her reps confirmed she was pregnant with her second child.

Rihanna’s pregnancy made it seem unlikely she will drop a new album any time soon. At one point, the Barbadian singer aimed to release her follow-up to 2016’s Anti in 2023.

“I want it to be this year,” she said. “Like, honestly, it’d be ridiculous if it’s not this year. But I just want to have fun. I just want to make music and make videos.”

Lil Yachty Thinks Many People Had The Wrong Perception Of Him As An Artist

Lil Yachty realized why he surprised a lot of listeners with the release of his rock album Let’s Start Here.

The Quality Control Music artist considered how music fans viewed him in an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. Lil Yachty said he understood why some people thought he didn’t take music seriously based on his earlier work.

“I know that people don’t really understand how much I love music and how much it’s my life,” he told Lowe. “And I get it from some of the songs that I may have made early in my career that may seem like otherwise. And the majority of these artists coming out don’t care about music. It’s just for fun or money or TikTok blow-up. So, it’s easy to box in.”

Lil Yachty explained how the creation of Let’s Start Here was transformative for him. The 25-year-old rapper took inspiration from Pink Floyd and made an album vastly different from past projects.

“I learned so much making this album … I took a completely different approach with this album than I ever did in the process of creating something,” he said. “And I’ve grown so much and I’ve changed so much as an adult in this process. So, it all plays a factor and it all shows in this album.”

Lil Yachty’s Let’s Start Here debuted at No. 1 on three Billboard rock charts. It was his first project to reach the top of any Billboard album chart.
