Lil Uzi Vert Falsely Accused Of Stealing Puppy From Philly Pet Store

The Wilkes-Barre Township Police Department mistakenly identified Lil Uzi Vert as a dog thief. On Thursday (August 31), the department’s posted his picture alongside little puppy and the alleged get-away vehicle to Facebook.

Evidently, a ruby-colored Cavalier King Charles Spaniel from the Brookside Pups store went missing, and alert went up around 2 p.m. local time. Law enforcement said they believed an SUV spotted leaving the store and riding up the Turnpike toward Philly was owned by the suspect. But instead, the police posted a picture of Lil Uzi Vert.

Fans immediately noticed that the person being accused of stealing the dog was Lil Uzi Vert—not the actual suspect.

TMZ reported that the pet store provided the police with a social media profile picture of the individual who allegedly snatched the puppy. The problem is the profile photograph was of the rapper and not the person.

The notice was later updated around 3:15 p.m. local time and they admitted they posted the wrong person. Now, police believe the person who nabbed the dog is named “Demetrius. His accomplice is supposedly named “Armand.”

“The original photo of the male provided by the establishment was not the correct male,” the updated post read. “This current photo is the actor in question. We apologize for the error and any confusion.”

Chance The Rapper Explains Why Going On Tour With Macklemore Was A Challenge

Chance The Rapper recently announced special Acid Rap shows in his hometown of Chicago, New York City and Los Angeles to commemorate the project’s 10-year anniversary.

Apple Music 1’s Ebro Darden recently spoke to Chance about his groundbreaking mixtape. The Voice coach revealed the most difficult issue he had to deal with during that time period around 2013.

“The toughest challenge I ever experienced was [when] I went on tour with Macklemore,” Chance said. “Macklemore is an amazing, amazing person and helped me out tremendously as well. But his shows, it was in Europe and it was, I think 38 dates, all 20,000 capacity rooms, all like off markets too, like Poland and Dusseldorf.”

Chance continued, “These people didn’t speak English at all. And not only did they not speak English, he sold out all these shows before I was announced on the ticket. So it’s really bad when you go to a show and there’s an opener that you don’t want to see. It’s way worse when it’s a surprise opener that you don’t want to see. That’s speaking a different language and Black, a lot of negatives on top of each other for the Swedish crowds.”

Macklemore became an international star in the early 2010s. His musical output with producer Ryan Lewis included “Can’t Hold Us” featuring Ray Dalton and “Thrift Shop” featuring Wanz. Both records peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned diamond certification from the RIAA.

Many Hip-Hop fans view Chance The Rapper’s Acid Rap as the midwesterner’s breakout mixtape. That 2013 effort features appearances by BJ the Chicago Kid, Vic Mensa, Twista, Noname, Saba, Childish Gambino, Action Bronson, Ab-Soul and more.

Following Acid Rap, Chance dropped Coloring Book in 2016. The 57-minute mixtape was the first streaming-only project to win a Grammy Award when it took home the Best Rap Album trophy at the 2017 ceremony.

The Big Day album arrived in July 2019 to lukewarm reviews. Chance The Rapper has been working on his upcoming Star Line Gallery studio album. He previously referred to Star Line Gallery as one of his “proudest projects in terms of writing and artistic vision.”

Exclusive Interview With Rap Legend Special Ed

Special Ed was truly one of the first young rap stars and he knew it. His debut album, Youngest in Charge, was released in 1989 when he was only 17. It was recorded when he was even younger and yielded the hit record “I Got It Made” and “I’m The Magnificent” while solidifying his place in the culture.

Behind his good looks and dope raps was so much more than met the eye, largely seen through teen rap mags and rap shows. Ed, a Brooklyn native, came up in an era where only talented MCs got record deals. He had a distinctive voice, clever wordplay and a charismatic delivery that set him apart in the rap scene of his time. He also came up in a rough period where you had to be respected in your ‘hood too—not just on wax.

Special Ed is no longer a teenager and he’s evolved into an outspoken, active elder statesman of Hip-Hop culture. He’s got a perspective on everything—from his past, the difficult middle periods of his career and the present where he’s actively giving back to young people.

Check out this engaging, riveting interview with Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur and DJ Thoro conducted at WonWorld Studios in New York City.

Special Ed’s success continued after Youngest In Charge, with his subsequent albums, including Legal released in 1990 and Revelations in 1995. Though the 1990s were a far more competitive period, he maintained a dedicated fan base and continued to release music that showcased his lyrical prowess and creativity.

Ed was also a member of the supergroup Crooklyn Dodgers. The initial lineup consisted of Buckshot, Masta Ace, and Special Ed. Together, they released their sole record titled “Crooklyn,” which was expertly produced by Q-Tip from the celebrated group A Tribe Called Quest. This track found its place in the soundtrack of the 1994 film “Crooklyn,” capturing the essence of the era. The accompanying music video even showcased appearances by two iconic athletes hailing from Brooklyn, namely Michael Jordan and Mike Tyson.

Throughout his career, Special Ed’s music often explored themes of self-confidence, personal growth and the realities of urban life. He was admired for his ability to blend insightful lyrics with catchy beats, compliments of super producer Hitman Howie Tee early in his career. Special Ed’s impact can be heard in the work of many artists and “I Got It Made” continues to get sampled to this day.

Pras Says He Learned About Fugees Reunion Tour “Through The Media”

News broke last week that Pras, Wyclef and Lauryn Hill have come back together for a tour. One of those Fugees members claims to have learned about the reunion via the internet.

TMZ caught up with Pras to ask him about the recently announced The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour featuring the Fugees. Pras seemed unaware of the announcement.

“I ain’t even know this tour was happening until last week to be honest with you,” Pras told the cameraperson. “I heard about it through the media… I’m going, obviously, I just heard about it last week.”

In addition to preparing to hit the road with Wyclef and Hill next month, Pras Michel also faces serious legal issues. A federal jury found him guilty on multiple criminal counts.

The man born Prakazrel Michel was convicted of conspiracy, concealment of material facts, making false entries in records, witness tamperin and serving as an unregistered agent of a foreign power.

“As proven at trial, the defendant engaged in an extensive conspiracy to use millions of dollars in foreign funds to engage in illegal back-channel lobbying and make unlawful campaign contributions,” stated U.S. Assistant Attorney General Kenneth A. Polite, Jr.

Pras faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. When asked if the conviction would affect the release of any new music, the 50-year-old New Jersey native said, “You know I can’t talk about my legal situation.”

Pras, Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean released two studio LPs as the Fugees. Blunted on Reality dropped in 1994 followed by the Grammy-winning The Score two years later. Pras’s debut solo album, Ghetto Supastar which hosted the Top 20 title track, came out in 1998.

50 Cent’s Lawyer Releases Statement About Mic Throwing Incident

50 Cent could face legal repercussions. The rap mogul launching a microphone during a recent Los Angeles concert has reportedly led to a Los Angeles Police Department criminal investigation.

On Thursday (August 31), footage of 50 Cent throwing a mic from the stage went viral. Apparently, he injured Power 106 radio host Bryhana Monegain. Photos showed Monegain with a head wound.

According to reports, the 48-year-old businessman was upset that several microphones weren’t working properly. He supposedly hurled the flawed mic in the direction of Bryhana Monegain out of frustration.

“Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client, Curtis [50 Cent], would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone,” 50’s attorney, Scott Leemon, told Page Six.

Scott Leemon also added, “Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed.” Reports claim the LAPD has been investigating 50 Cent as a criminal battery suspect.

50 Cent’s highly-publicized The Final Lap Tour heads to Irvine, California’s FivePoint Amphitheater for a show on Friday (September 1). Upcoming dates include stops in cities such as Seattle, Chicago, Detroit and Toronto.

Lil Wayne & Doja Cat To Perform At 2023 MTV Video Music Awards

Lil Wayne and Doja Cat are part of a VMA lineup that also includes Demi Lovato, Karol G, Måneskin, Stray Kids, Kelsea Ballerini and TOMORROW X TOGETHER. MTV will announce more performers at a later date.

Doja Cat released her new single “Demons” on September 1. That track followed “Paint the Town Red” which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The rapper/singer will release the Scarlet album on September 22.

Lil Wayne recently recorded the official new theme song of the Skip Bayless-led Undisputed sports talk show. The Young Money leader appeared on the Fox Sports 1 program as well.

MTV has rewarded Lil Wayne with Video Music Award trophies in the past. For example, “Lollipop” won Best Hip Hop Video at the 2008 ceremony. Doja Cat has several VMA wins, too, including a Best Collaboration victory in 2021.

In addition, Doja Cat enters the 2023 VMAs with multiple nominations. Her Tanu Muino-directed visuals for “Attention” are up for Video Of The Year. The RCA signee also made it into the Artist Of The Year category.

The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards take place on Tuesday, September 12 at 8 pm ET/PT. The show will air live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey for the third time in five years.

“Awarding Newark as host city for the 2023 VMAs echoes not only our selection by MTV in 2022 and 2019, but also reverberates our city’s historic vibe as a hotbed of musical genius,” said Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka.

Nas Gives 50 Cent His Flowers For Transforming The Rap Game During L.A. Concert

50 Cent has brought out a host of special guests to join him on his Final Lap tour, and his Los Angeles stop was no exception, surprising the crowd with an appearance from Nas.

The NYC icon joined Fiddy at L.A.’s Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday night (August 30). 50 Cent joined Nas to perform “Hate Me Now” and “Made You Look.”

After rocking the stage, Nas paid tribute to 50 Cent, crediting him with changing the face of Hip-Hop. He gave major props to Fif’s 2003 debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’, claiming the rap game hasn’t been the same since.

“When this man dropped, the whole rap game changed,” Nas declared. “Queens in the building, bruh. Shout out to Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda — my brothers. I love you, man.” Check out the clip below.

50 Cent marked his return to the music scene after taking time out to focus on his growing multimedia empire with an appearance on Nas’s Magic 2. The duo joined forces on “Office Hours,” their first collab in over twenty years. They last collaborated in 2002 on 50’s Guess Who’s Back? mixtape cuts “Too Hot” and “Who U Rep With.”

Nas 50 Cent – Office Hours

During a recent XXL interview, the G-unit founder opened up about resuming their working relationship.

“It was cool to get in with him and do something like that,” 50 Cent said of working with Nas. “It’s interesting that the relationship is different because we in two different places now.”

He recalled Nas reaching out to join him on tour following the release of his 1999 breakout diss track, “How to Rob.”

The pair got to hang out during the downtime between shows. Fiddy was surprised to learn the “One Mic” hitmaker was a bookworm.

“He was smarter than things he was saying on the records,” he added. “Because what he said on the records matched how things felt in the environment not who he was actually [in his head]. We’d be on the tour bus, and he’d be reading books and stuff.”

Meek Mill Calls For Action After 12-Year-Old-Shooting Victim Found Dead In Philadelphia Dumpster

Meek Mill is rallying the “old heads” of Philly to stand up and take action after the body of a 12-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the head was found in a dumpster.

An investigation is underway after a sanitation worker discovered the body on August 22, abc News reports. Authorities identified the young victim as Hezekiah Bernard and stated the boy was in the custody of the Department of Human Services at the time of his death.

The “Dreams and Nightmares” hitmaker shared a report of the tragic death on Instagram. He called for the Black community to fight back against a problem that’s only getting worse.

They need to let us fight this s### back,” Meek Mill wrote. “Me and the old heads can clear some of this s### up.”

The Philadelphia native continued: “We need the jails behind us too so it’s no escaping! The wrong women or child get killed I don’t think we will be able to turn back.”

In another post, he claimed, “They playing so ruthless in Philly.” According to Meek Mill, “the self hatred level on 1000 degrees with blacks.”

He concluded: “Can black people still come together besides a rap concert of sports? We looking terrible.”

Meanwhile, Staff Inspector Ernest Ransom, head of the police department’s homicide unit, told ABC News examiners conducted an autopsy on August 24. They discovered a gunshot wound on the right side of Bernard’s head.

“We need the help of the public to identify the offenders in this investigation,” Ransom said. “The focus of this investigation is the swift apprehension of those involved in this senseless death.”

Yung Bleu’s Wife Explodes Amid Cheating Allegations: “I Need The Best Divorce Lawyer In Georgia”

Yung Bleu is in hot water with his wife, who claims she kicked him out of their home amid claims he flew a woman out.

The cheating allegations came from a woman who claims Yung Bleu reached out to her after seeing a viral video of her showing off her extra-long tongue. She said the Alabama-bred rapper/singer flew her out, but she ditched him after discovering he was “a weirdo.”

In a TikTok video, a woman with the username Tenom claims Yung Blue brought her with him on a private jet but never said a word to her during their flight. After landing, they got into a car with five other men. Tenom alleges Bleu maintained his silence and failed to introduce her to anybody in his entourage.

According to the woman, she left when it became clear Yung Bleu flew her out just to hang with him like a “groupie.” As well as sharing her “story time,” Tenom dropped several receipts, including a video, allegedly of Bleu on the private jet with her.

Yung Bleu’s Wife Explodes

Shortly after sharing her story, Yung Bleu’s wife Tiemeria caught wind of the cheating allegations. In a video posted to her Instagram Story, she claimed she kicked the “You’re Mines Still” hitmaker out of their home and is seeking a divorce.

Tiemeria exploded on Yung Bleu and said she believed the claims, insisting Tenom’s claims ring true. She claims she confronted her husband, who jumped out of bed and ran out of the house but continued to text her, denying the cheating accusations.

“This b#### is not lying on you at all,” Tiemeria stated in her video. “She got so many muthafuckin’ receipts.”

She then said she would not be chasing after her husband and will not allow him to return to their marital home.

“I hope Boosie come get your muthafuckin’ ass. He ain’t got no car keys he ain’t got no house keys, he can’t get in this muthafucka,” she concluded. “So, he going to be outside tonight unless one of you b###### come get him.”

In another post, Tiemeria added, “I need the best divorce lawyer in Georgia.”

The Game Trolls 50 Cent Over Mic Throw Incident That Left Woman Injured

The Game antagonized 50 Cent, who injured Power 106 radio host Bryhana Monegain by throwing a microphone during a concert in Los Angeles. The Game called out his longtime foe via Instagram, reposting a video of the incident on Thursday (August 30).

“Curtis, yo fat ass came to LA hittin women,” The Game wrote.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, threw his microphone while performing at the Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday night (August 30). Footage showed him hurling the microphone in apparent frustration over technical difficulties.

Monegain was struck by the microphone and had to go to the hospital to get stitches. She filed a police report on Wednesday night.

Police launched a battery investigation. 50 Cent’s lawyer Scott Leemon claimed the incident was an accident.

“Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone,” Leemon told multiple outlets. “Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed.”

50 Cent threw the microphone a month after Cardi B was involved in a similar situation. She tossed her microphone at a fan while performing in Las Vegas in July. Police investigated but opted not to pursue charges against Cardi B.

Lil Pump Finds Buyer For Mansion Amid Financial Woes; Sells Home To NFL Star

Lil Pump sold his Miami Beach mansion to Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones. According to multiple reports, the NFL player paid $7 million for the home.

The sale gave a much-needed boost to the 23-year-old rapper’s finances while he dealt with some serious debts. He owes roughly $2 million to the IRS and more than $100,000 to City National Bank.

Lil Pump bought the Miami Beach mansion for $4.65 million in 2019. The home includes five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

The mansion was built in 2017. The waterfront property features a boat deck, pool, spa and more. Lil Pump initially wanted $8.7 million for the mansion. He listed it for sale in February.

Lil Pump, whose real name is Gazzy Garcia, began the process of selling his home before he was hit with a tax lien by the IRS. Last March, the IRS sought to collect $141,340.56 in unpaid taxes for the year 2021. A few weeks later, the IRS hit the rapper with a second lien accusing him of owing $129,801.88 for the year 2020.

City National Bank sued Lil Pump over an unpaid loan, serving him with papers in February. A court reportedly ordered him to pay $118,593.09 to the bank.

Kanye West Will Get Last Laugh Over Kim Kardashian—If Social Media Gets Its Way

Does Kim Kardashian’s “Embarrassment” of Kanye West and his new wife Bianca Censori prove Revenge is a dish best served cold? If Instagram, Twitter and TikTok users have any authority in the matter, it appears they would overwhelmingly agree that is the case.

Yeah, I know Kim already responded to the rumors that she wasn’t actually embarrassed by Kanye’s alleged wardrobe malfunction on a river boat in Italy—which exposed his bare ass whilst Bianca conveniently laid her head on his lap. But as the great Bay Area historian Mistah Fab would say, “if she look, she’s took,” and in this case, “if she responds, rent-free you live in her mind.”

To be honest, I would probably believe that Kim truly wasn’t bothered by Ye and his new wifey’s near-nude exploits had she remained buttoned up about it. Not to say that she should subscribe to a life of toxic solitude when it comes to matters concerning her ex-husband. However, it’s hard to fathom that Kim, in her heart of hearts, would say anything at all if she wasn’t somewhat displeased. After all, she didn’t “come this far just to come this far and not be happy,” right? My theory is Kim is saving face right now. She was definitely on her high horse just a few weeks back as she gave a faux performance of the soundbite from her TV show KUWTK, which made it to Drake’s “Search & Rescue” single to Bad Bunny at Drizzy’s recent LA show.

Knowing damn well that’s her ex-husband’s op—whom he infamously accused her of cheating on him with. Call it karma or tragic irony, but it’s almost like the universe is serving Kim a healthy helping of humble pie with the tagline; just eats! And to be honest, how social media has responded to the entire saga makes me further believe this whole moment is a bit of an egotrip for Kim. The fact that media outlets published literal min-docs outlining Kim’s faux desperation and worry in regards to Kanye is telling.

I really think Kim got tired of seeing the sob stories and her PR time decided to pull the ultimate spin doctor move on the media cycle. Here’s the kicker, though; Twitter, Instagram and TikTok are now beating her algorithm’s ass with thousands of posts of Biancia’s modeling archive photos and thirst traps. Is it a coincidence that Kim denounces any allusion to her jealousy of Kanye and Bianca just as millions of accounts are salivating over how good Ye’s new boo looks?

Maybe, maybe not.

T.I. & Tiny Seek Roughly $165K From Sabrina Peterson In Legal Battle; She Responds

T.I. and Tiny Harris asked a court to award them almost $165,000 after several claims in Sabrina Peterson’s defamation lawsuit were dismissed. According to Radar Online, the Harrises believed they were entitled to recoup money spent in their legal battle against Peterson.

“The Harrises’ request for $164,650.56 in attorneys’ fees and costs is reasonable and in line with fee awards regularly affirmed in this district,” their lawyer argued. “Given the complexity of the legal issues, the time necessary to adjudicate Peterson’s seven causes of action over a two-year period, and the additional costs of appeal, the amount requested should be awarded in full.”

Peterson, who once accused T.I. of pointing a gun to her head, sued the rapper and Tiny for defamation in 2021. The couple filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, which was initially denied. But the Harrises scored a partial victory in their appeal.

Earlier this year, an appeals court dismissed some of the claims brought by Peterson against T.I. and Tiny. The court allowed Peterson to proceed with her defamation and false light invasion of privacy claims.

Peterson reacted to reports about her lawsuit in an Instagram post on Thursday (August 31). She shared a text message from her lawyer to confirm she still had pending claims against T.I. and Tiny.

“The only thing that was dismissed is duplicate claims!” she wrote. “I’m going to court.”

She added, “Now back to healing & homeschooling. Stop letting celebrities & the media play in your face. May justice for myself & everyone involved in this case be prevailed.”

Eminem & Machine Gun Kelly On Hit List Of Racist Shooter Who Killed 3 Black People In Jacksonville

Ryan Christopher Palmeter, the racist who shot and killed three Black people in Jacksonville on August 26, wanted to kill Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly too. According to Rolling Stone, the shooter named the two rappers as potential targets in racist writings left behind by the deceased gunman.

“Eminem (aka Marshall Mathers, aka Slim Shady aka Ken Keniff, aka the white guy from D12): Stared the abyss (being ni–dly) and the abyss stared back (becoming a ni—er),” Palmeter wrote. “Walks the edge of ni–er lover and honorary ni–er. Fell off not because his new stuff sucked but because the lyrics were gay annoying liberal s###. ROE for Total Ni–er Death is to include Eminem (aka Marshall Mathers, aka Slim Shady aka Ken Keniff, aka the white guy from D12) as a valid target and he is to be killed on sight.”

He added, “Colson Baker (aka Machine Gun Kelly): Honorable ni–er. To be killed on sight like Eminem because I didn’t get a shot at him up in Ohio.”

Palmeter killed 52-year-old Angela Michelle Carr, 19-year-old Anolt Joseph “A.J.” Laguerre Jr. and 29-year-old Jerrald De’Shaun Gallion at a Dollar General store. Palmeter killed himself after committing the hate crime.

Authorities said Palmeter, a white man, drew swastikas on his firearms. The 21-year-old gunman used an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle and a Glock handgun in the shooting.

50 Cent Is Reportedly A Suspect In Criminal Battery Case Following Mic-Throwing Incident

Radio personality Bryhana Monegain was attending the Los Angeles performance of 50 Cent’s Final Lap Tour at the Crypto.com arena earlier this week. Now, she’s reportedly suing the superstar for throwing a mic at her during the concert and hitting her.

According to TMZ, Monegain filed the report on Wednesday (August 30), alleging she was struck in the head. But unlike the incident with Cardi B, the Queens-bred rapper didn’t mean to hurt the lady.

When he went out to join YG on the stage, 50 Cent’s mic allegedly wasn’t working, so he asked for another one. When that one wasn’t working, he asked for one more. After a few mics, 50 Cent got frustrated and hurled the mic into the crowd.

Despite it being an accident, Monegain posted pictures of her injuries online. One image showed a gash in her forehead, but additional injuries haven’t been shared.

Consequently, the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ is a suspect in a criminal battery case.

In a report Mongain gave to police, she said 50 Cent looked directly at her right before throwing the mic. She believes 50 knew she was there when he hit her. No one from 50 Cent’s camp has spoken out.

Ez Mil Gives His Top 5, Talks Reppin’ The Philippines & The Violence He Endured

Ez Mil, the rapper signed to Dr. Dre and Eminem, was born in the 25th year of Hip-Hop culture, the proverbial middle point. During that time, the genre experienced a renaissance, coming out of the deaths of Biggie and 2Pac. The Filipino-American artist is experiencing his own breakthrough, first with the impact of his track “Panalo” then with “Up Down (Step & Walk),” which got Eminem’s attention, and now “The Realest,” the huge collaboration with Slim Shady himself. Remarkably, at the age of 25, he achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the first Filipino artist (and only the third rapper following in the footsteps of 50 Cent and Stat Quo) to sign with Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records.

Hailing from Olongapo, Ez didn’t come out of thin air; his roots trace back to a unique musical lineage. His father, Paul Sapiera, is a famed figure in the band RockStar and his mother also actively participates in the music industry. Even his younger Raynn is in the family business. All of this and more helped shape his upbringing. Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur and the future legend talk shop.

The Next Big Thing? Eminem’s Artist EZ Mil Talks Working With Dr. Dre & Looking Up To Kendrick

AllHipHop: The song “27 Bodies” is a more hardcore song, a little more angry. What’s that song about?

Ez Mil: Oh, man. I would say the violence I went through, just growing up in the Philippines. Because a lot of the things, I’m just happy to still be here, being able to say what I say. And a lot of the social issues that goes on within … What I felt like, I kind of branched it off of more what I felt for the Philippines, and then later on in the song, it went to English because this is where I am right now. So I just melded it all into that because … yeah.

AllHipHop: I saw one comment and it said, “This guy is basically four different great artists rolled into one.” I was like, “Wow, that was a great compliment.” You sing as well. Do you have a preference? Your singing is not like some people sing and it’s kind of like, just rap, just rap. But your singing actually holds up. Do you prefer one or the other?

Ez Mil: I wouldn’t say that, no. I don’t prefer one or the other because I feel like one can mesh with the other one. And one has its place as well when it needs to be and one will have its place when it needs to be. So if I had a preference, probably in the styles of singing and in the styles of rapping, and preferences when they join together. So sing rapping, that’s about it.

AllHipHop: Got you. So here’s one question that we ask everybody. We’ve asked this question forever. Who are your top five dead or alive rappers? And we’ll just put Eminem and A$AP, they’re in the halls of fame for you. We’ve talked about them so much, so we’ll say top seven or eight or whatever. But yeah, those guys are already in there. And to make this easier, you can just say who are your most influential artists? I’ll even give you this, if you want to say other people, you can say them too. It doesn’t have to be rappers.

Ez Mil: Top five that are alive. Oh my gosh. Right, right, right. So let’s probably put it at a eight. We already got the three that I mentioned. Anderson .Paak.

AllHipHop: OK, OK.

Ez Mil: Nipsey Hussle.

AllHipHop: Nipsey Hussle, OK. Rest in peace, Nipsey. He just had a birthday.

Ez Mil: Tech N9ne.

AllHipHop: Tech N9ne, I got to give you a round of applause for that one. Yeah, he doesn’t get nearly enough credit. His name does not get mentioned enough. Tech N9ne’s an amazing artist.

Ez Mil: For real, bro. Like mogul. So Anderson .Paak, Nipsey Hussle, Tech N9ne, Hopsin.

AllHipHop: Hopsin, another one. I’m seeing a trend here. Now I’m seeing a slight trend. Those guys are darker, a little on the darker side of things. And witty too. Kind of in the same spirit as classic Eminem. Yeah. All right, we got one more.

Ez Mil: Dang. Damn, I would have to check my playlist.

AllHipHop: OK, it’s all good. I do that too, actually. Not too much about my top five, but when they say, “Who’s hot right now?” And I’m like, “Let me look at what I’m listening to.”Who would you like to work with going forward? Obviously, Kendrick, Em’s already happened.

Ez Mil: I would say the list that I’ve just said, man. Because the only way they all want to go about this music thing, if I’m collaborating, it’s someone who I really mess with or someone who I really look up to. Because at the end of the day, if you’re someone that I really mess with in this day of age, there’s something about how you moving around and what you’re doing, what’s your thing, that I would want to have experience with and have a look. And same goes for the idols and the bucket list of that meant … that aspect though, learning. Learning what they have done with the game.

AllHipHop: Do you have a crew? Are there any other rappers behind you that are waiting to tap in?

Ez Mil: A couple, A couple. Even not just here in Vegas, also back home in the Philippines.

AllHipHop: That’s kind of what I meant.

Ez Mil: Yeah. Yeah. In the Philippines there’s a couple of us, man. Like Hood 047. And I just chalk it up to that. And also good friend from Cape Town, Michael Bars in South Africa. And yeah, bro, so that’s where I would feel the gist of the rappers are up next, I feel.

AllHipHop: Got you. Got you. What about a singing duet? Anybody out there you might want to sing with?

Ez Mil: CB.

AllHipHop: Who’s that? Oh, Chris Brown?

Ez Mil: Yes, sir. You asked in terms of singing preference… in terms of singing? His latest song is fire, bro.

AllHipHop: That’s tight. So you’re just starting, but I mean we all have our long-term dreams too. In, let’s say 10 years, we’re not going to go too far, where would you like to be in 10 years?

Ez Mil: 10. Probably have a couple lots [land]. Yeah, a couple big lots here and back home in the Philippines, but of course still making music in those lots.

AllHipHop: Yeah, of course. That’s what’s up. That’s what’s up.

Ez Mil: I’ll probably be trying to experiment on some … Because getting the lot, bro, I’ll probably be doing some sound design-type stuff with all that space, like ding. OK, that sounds different. Ding, just using the reverb.

AllHipHop: All right, anything else? I mean is there anything else you wanted to address or discuss or get off your chest?

Ez Mil: DU4LI7Y:REDUX out right now with the GOAT (Eminem).

Method Man Makes Public Plea To Play “X-Men” Role Lucas Bishop In Marvel Cinematic Universe

It seems Method Man really wants to portray Marvel’s Lucas Bishop in a Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) production. Back in 2019, Method Man reposted a fan-made image of himself as Bishop to his Instagram page. Two years later, the Wu-Tang Clan member cosplayed as the X-Men comic book character.

The rapper/actor is once again trying to manifest a role as Lucas Bishop in the MCU. Cassius magazine spoke to the Tical album creator about his big-screen ambitions for the Disney-owned superhero films.

“I was just putting it out there to see if I could hook something,” Method Man said. “Those guys at the MCU, they know their stuff. I haven’t had any problems with any of their casting choice so far.”

Method Man added, “Omar Sy did an excellent job as Bishop [in 20th Century Fox’s X-Men: Days of Future Past], but that was before MCU. If they chose him again, I think he’d kill it.

“There’s a few people out there. But if they’re willing to give me a shot, I’d go for it. Plus, I’ve done all the research already.”

50 Cent Accused Of Bloodying Woman’s Face After Throwing Mic From The Stage

A number of concerts this year have seen incidents involving fans or artists throwing items during the performance. 50 Cent became the latest celebrity to hurl something from the stage.

Footage of 50 Cent performing “Toot It And Boot It (Remix)” alongside Los Angeles rapper YG began spreading across the internet. At one point, 50 tosses a microphone in the direction of the audience.

According to reports, the mic throw injured radio personality Bryhana Monegain. Photos of the Power 106 host show her with a bloody face and a wound on her forehead.

50 Cent hasn’t publicly addressed the situation as of press time, however, the G-Unit leader did post about the Los Angeles stop of his The Final Lap Tour on social media.

“My LA show was SIRE approved, he said, ‘Man, that was crazy!’ My little man could feel the love,” 50 Cent tweeted at 4:36 am ET. (Sire Jackson is the rapper/entrepreneur’s 10-year-old son with Daphne Joy.)

In July, fellow New York City-bred rap superstar Cardi B became a trending topic after she threw a microphone at a concertgoer in Las Vegas. Local police reportedly investigated the situation and chose not to charge the Invasion of Privacy rapper.
